Hey I loved your "becoming a stark" and love your "being a stark" series. You are a very talented writer and are fixing my broken Tony heart bit by bit. (still missing Nat tho). Could you pretty please tag me on any further chapters of "Being a stark"? 💕
I would love to, however I completely forgot to continue posting here, so there’s actually many more chapters on my AO3 profile like at least 5 right now, but I’m working on the next one too!

Least Favorite Only Child (2)- Peter Parker x Own Character
Triggers for this chapter: Eating disorder talk, physical abuse, self harm referenced but not depicted. If I missed any triggers let me know and I will update this.
Tumblr media
Normally, lab time with Peter means conversations that are nonstop, ideas flying around the room, and just Peter being well Peter. But today there’s silence as Peter stares at the screen. It’s…. Unnerving. Peter’s never this quiet. Something has to be running through his mind, hundred of miles an hour, for him to not be his normal talkative self, Tony can’t help but realize. They work in silence until Peter finally speaks.
“Mr. Stark, if you knew someone was in trouble, would you help them?”
“You remember that we’re superheroes, correct?”
“This isn’t a superhero type problem though. It’s an adult type problem.” Tony set’s the screwdriver down and gives the teenager his full attention.
“What’s going on?”
“There’s this girl I go to school with, Charlie— Charlotte, I think she’s in a bad situation. Her mom sets off my spidey senses, but like Charlie wears really baggy clothes to school every day but I saw her walking from school a few weeks ago and had Karen take vitals and then again like today, because I like to make sure she gets home safe you know because she’s my friend, and she’s dropped a lot of weight in a short amount of time. ‘Concerning amounts’ Karen said. She also came to school today with like all her hair cut off. She tried to hide it under a beanie. But when people tried to tell her it looked cool, she looked uncomfortable about it, like it wasn’t her decision. And I think the other day I saw marks on her arm when her sweatshirt, like she wears these sweatshirts all year round, the sleeve pulled up when she was reaching for something. I worry she’s going to hurt herself and her mom doesn’t seem to care and she doesn’t really have anyone else and…” Peter trails off for a moment, collecting his thoughts before saying, “she deserves so much better.”
Tony knows he should do something. Peter clearly cares for this girl. And from the sounds of it, this is truly an adult problem. A sixteen year old can’t step in if Charlie is dealing with an abusive parent type situation.
He and Steve could step in. He should talk to Steve. His husband and him had always talked about adopting at some point, or looking into a surrogate. But somewhere in his mind, the only kid he had ever thought of as “his'' was Peter. So if this was the most he could do to help make him happy, he would do it. But he needs more information, if he’s going to bring this to Steve. “When you say marks…?”
“I only saw them for a second, but there were all sorts. Bruises, these marks that looked almost like burn marks from something small, and thin cuts, some newer, some healed over.” That’s definitely concerning. That sounds like someone is hurting the girl and she’s hurting herself possibly.
“You stay here and keep working on that. I’m going to make some calls ok?” Tony makes his way towards the door before turning back to Peter. “What’s her name again?”
“Charlie— Charlotte Latimer.”
Tony nods. “I’ll be back.”
Climbing up the stairs, Tony tries to collect his thoughts. He’s not sure what to say to his husband. But he knows they have to do something. Captain America and Iron Man can’t not do something. No-- Steve and Tony can’t not do anything.
Steve is exactly where Tony expected to find him, sitting on the couch with a book, one of the books he called “his old friends”— the authors who had been publishing when he went under the ice. He looks up when Tony enters the room.
“Finished with Peter already?” He glances at the watch on his wrist. “You’ve only been down there for thirty minutes.”
“We have a problem.”
“Avenger problem?”
“No, but a problem that you and I can help with.”
“What’s going on?”
“Peter has this friend, this girl he has a crush on if I had to take a guess. But he’s concerned for her wellbeing. From the sounds of it, it might be an abusive parent situation, on top of a possible self harm situation.”
“That still sounds like something the Avengers could help with.” Tony thinks about it for a second. His husband isn’t wrong, but the Avengers can’t be breaking down the door of every bad parent in the city.
“I was thinking more like, we apply for an emergency foster parent license and try to get her out of the house. Call the cops, all that jazz.” Tony watches the minute changes in Steve’s face. He wants to help, save the little guy and all of that, but also Captain America is there trying to see the overall plan.
“What all do we know?”
“Losing weight rapidly, a concerning amount in a short amount of time according to Karen, burn marks on her arm that sound like cigarette burns, self harm cuts possibly, bruises on her arms and who knows where else, she came to school with her hair all cut off today, seemed really uncomfortable about it, you know saying it wasn’t her choice, wears long sleeves all year round. That’s all I got from Peter.”
“But all of that could be simply self harm and eating disorders. There’s nothing to say that’s definitely her parents. But maybe, we do some research, we spend some time looking into this. And figure out the next best step. Before we run in and blow our cover.” Tony knows that Steve wants to do the right thing but also wants to protect this girl. “Maybe picking up Peter from school the next few days would be a good option?”
“You read my mind.” Tony knew his husband would have a solution. It’s one of the many reasons he loves him.
“But Tony, if it's a situation where she isn’t in an abusive situation, you know there’s not really anything we can do right?” Steve knows his husband and knows he likes to try and take control of situations that he can’t.
“I know.”
“And you’ll be able to just walk away?” Tony shrugs, not really giving an answer.
“We’ll find out if we get there. Right now, I’m following Peter’s spidey senses about the mom.”
“What do you mean?” Tony realizes he never mentioned that.
“Apparently Peter’s senses go off when she’s around? He didn’t go super in depth about it, but you know Peter. He doesn’t feel like that about just anyone. I trust him.”
“I know you do. But he’s also a kid who wants to see the best in everyone. If this is a crush, he might just feel too deeply for her that he would rather imagine anyone but her hurting herself.”
“He can’t fake spidey senses.” Tony argues lightly.
“I’m not disagreeing. I’m just pointing out that he might be a bit biased.” Steve is trying to keep Tony level headed on this, but he can see that Tony is already pretty set on this. “But… maybe while we start researching her life, we also start the applications for foster care as well? Then… if god forbid the situation is what we think it is, we can do more than just get her out of there?”
Tony places a kiss on his husband’s lips. “Thank you.”
“Don’t thank me until we actually do something.” Steve says, rolling his eyes.
The next day though, it’s easy to see why Peter was concerned about this girl. Even walking out of the building next to Peter, she looks terrified. “She really is skinny.” Steve comments. “Like me before the serum skinny.”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t look like her body is meant to be like that.”
“And what’s that supposed to mean?” Steve teases his husband.
“That I’ve seen your medical records from before the serum. But I don’t think she has half the conditions even that you had.”
The girl’s eyes are terrified as she searches across the school grounds, on the lookout for someone or something. Tony sees Peter talking animatedly, trying to keep her from walking off for as long as possible. But eventually she tightens her arms around her abdomen and Tony thinks she mouths something along the lines of should get going Parker. Peter’s face falls ever so slightly as she walks away, her swaying ever so slightly.
“If Ma was here, she would want to make a Sunday roast and give the whole thing to her.” Steve says softly. It’s not super common for him to mention his mom, one of the people he misses often, but hearing him talk about her makes Tony think Steve is feeling the same as he is. They need to do something to help this girl.

I just read “Least Favorite Only Child” and I hope you are doing alright. The reactions and thought processes of reader are too real, and I recognize them from my own. I hope you weren’t treated in that way but know if you are/were it wasn’t/isn’t your fault and one day everything will be different. And also good for you! Fiction and art are wonderful ways to cope and heal. And if you weren’t treated that way then it is impressive to write so realistically. You are a talented author and I hope to see more from you 😊
Hello! First off I am doing well:D I need to post chapter two, but parts of this were based off of situations in my life but like most authors do, I have exaggerated parts of it. But, while I am using writing to cope with some of my feelings and past trauma, I am more importantly in therapy to help with it. So this is more therapeutic and writing what I wish could have happened when I was going through some of this.
I really do appreciate the message and I hope you like what I decide to do with the rest of the story

Spiderman No Way home encompassed everything Spiderman is. He's the guy who cares about you getting to the airport on time. He'll take just a few seconds to clean the cobwebs and dust out of the your ceiling corner. He's a high school kid pulling off incredible feats of science in a condo with scraps. He'll sacrifice everything that matters to him to save everyone else. He's broke. He helps the supervillains because they deserve a second chance. He makes horrible mistakes. He earns the awe and respect of heroes more than twice his age. He helps you do the right thing, even when it's so hard and you're so angry and so hurt. He's an utter nerd. He's Spiderman. He's Peter Parker

Being A Stark (12)- Peter Parker x Reader
Word Count:1753
Warnings: Bullying, hurtful language, swearing
Author’s Note: so....... did I die? No. Did school take over and make me forget to update.... quite possibly.
Tumblr media
You flip over the quiz you had just gotten back in Chemistry and grimace at the red ink at the top of the page. A fifty three on a pop quiz was less than ideal. You hate pop quizzes. At least on quizzes and tests that you know are coming you can at least study for it and try. But pop quizzes are really hard because you don’t do well with testing already.
“Wow, for being Tony Stark’s kid, you’re a dumb bitch aren’t you? Daddy must have paid a lot to get you into school here.” You glance over at the boy you haven’t really paid that much attention to since the year started. Kendall, Kevin? Something like that.
“You don’t know anything.” You say sharply, hoping that you can shut this down before it gets worse.
“Maybe, but at least my dad didn’t have to pay to get me into a school whose focus is science and technology.”
“Keiron, Y/N, if you’re done chatting, we can get on with our lesson,” Mr. Dell’s voice comes from the front of the classroom. You shove the quiz into your binder, not wanting any more focus on it. You don’t know what Keiron’s problem is with you, but you try to focus the rest of the lesson on anything but him. But apparently he wants the last word, right as the bell rings.
“Better tell Daddy he’s going to need to pay for you to pass this class this year.” He says before walking towards the door. You take your time picking up your books. You don’t honestly want to be anywhere near him in the hallway, so the longer time you take, the longer he’ll have to get away from you.
“Since when do you talk to Keiron?” Betty’s voice is beside you, waiting to walk with you to the language hallway.
“I don’t? Today was the first time I’ve talked with him and hopefully the last time.”
“Good. I know you like to make new friends and all, but I haven’t heard particularly good things about him from, well, anyone.”
“I’m just trying to make it through this year with the friends I have. Trust me.” You say as you walk through the hallway towards German.
Across the way, Peter is leaving his Spanish class after having to stay behind a few minutes to get some clarification about an assignment. Knowing you have German next period, his eyes are searching the hallway for you or Betty.  That would just be an added bonus. Plus his Mechanical Energies class is only a two minutes walk from here, so he has the time to kill, especially for his favorite girl. Hearing Betty’s voice, he knows you’re not that far off. “I just don’t get why you would get in trouble talking to him.”
“He was talking to me. Not the other way around.” You run a hand through your hair. “Can we just let this go, please?” You ask your best friend as Peter makes his way over to you. Betty spies your boyfriend making his way over to the two of you.
“Sure. I think you’re about to be distracted anyway. I’ll see you after Spanish.” She says as she starts to peel away from you. You look at her confused until a very familiar arm pulls you into him.
“Hi.” Peter whispers into your hair.
“Hi. Don’t you have class to be heading to?”
“I’m fine. Got time to kill. Especially for my best girl.” You relax in his arms and he can’t help but wonder if Chemistry was worse than normal. “Want to talk about it?” He asks.
“Not at all.” You lean into his arms, tilting your head to place a soft kiss on his lips. He smiles into the kiss. “Maybe later.” You mumble against his lips. “I’m busy.” Slips out before another kiss lands on his lips. The five minute bell rings. “You’re going to be late.”
“Worth it.”
“Not if you get detention. Go.” You push gently against his shoulder. “I’ll see you at lunch.”
“Frauline Stark, class is starting soon.” Your German teacher calls to you as you watch Peter start to walk away, turning back to wave at you. One more period and then you can just spend lunch being distracted by Peter and your friends. Right now you just have to conjugate some verbs and you’ll be ok. German isn’t one of the classes you struggle with, so you’ll be ok.
Sitting down at the lunch table, you’re not surprised that Peter’s arms find their way around your waist the moment you sit down. “Babe you saw me not even an hour ago.”
“That doesn’t mean I can’t miss you baby.” Peter says as his lips land on your cheek to kiss you.
“I missed you too.” You roll your eyes at him, already letting what happened in Chemistry fall to the back of your mind. Maybe today was just a weird day that you would just need to forget about as the rest of the year went on.
By the end of the day, you’ve basically forgotten about what happened. Walking out the front of school, you look for the black four door that Happy usually picks you up in. But the paps going wild should have been your first sign that Happy wasn’t the one picking you up. The BMW sitting waiting for you isn’t one of your dad’s favorite cars, but if you’re remembering correctly, it isn’t a manual car, unlike a lot of the other cars he has. You can’t help but smile at your dad being here to pick you up.
“Wow, perfect time to tell your dad that the dumb bitch needs more money given to the school since she can’t do Chemistry.” Keiron’s voice calls out softly from beside you as he smiles almost sinisterly at you.
“Kiddo, let’s go.” Tony calls from the rolled down window.
“Daddy’s calling.” Keiron jeers as he walks in the opposite direction. You bite your lip as you sit down in the front seat of the car.
“New friend?”
“Far from. Just a kid from my chemistry class.” You turn away from your dad as you buckle in. “Are you even allowed to drive?” You ask, changing the subject.
“As of my appointment yesterday, yes. As long as I feel comfortable.”
“Why didn’t you say anything at dinner yesterday?”
“Wanted to surprise you.”
“Color me surprised.”
“We got a letter in the mail today.” Your dad says like it’s a big piece of news, like your family doesn’t get mail every day.
“Wow. Exciting.”
“It is exciting. It was from TrialNet.”
“Wait really?” This catches your attention. You’ve been waiting to find out about Morgan and her antibodies for about two weeks now and you wanted to know. “What did it say?”
“Zero antibodies.” For the first time since you had the thought about Morgan getting Type One, you feel like you can finally breathe again. She can’t get it unless something goes really wrong with something else. She doesn’t have the antibodies.
“She’s safe from it.”
“That she is.”
“She can have a normal childhood.” The one you should have had. You don’t say it but you’re pretty sure, you and your dad both hear it.
“As normal as it can be with being a Stark.”
“True. Being a Stark, it’s weird for sure. Especially that Tony guy.”
“Ha ha kiddo. Don’t make me make you walk home.”
“You would never. You love me too much to make me suffer like that.”
Your dad nods. “That is very true. I do love you too much to let anything hurt you.”
You force a smile, but you know that if he knew, if he heard the things Keiron had said, he wouldn’t be happy. Even if it is true. But the last thing you need is Tony Stark causing national news by fighting a teenager. You know you can handle it without saying anything to your parents. You’ve dealt with things before, you can deal with them now. No need for anyone to be a knight in shining armor when they don’t need to be.
Plus, it’s not your dad’s fault that God made a mistake with you. Sure God might have made the sun and the moon, but there was only so much time for creativity and smarts. Not everyone can have that. Also, with genius inventor and superhero Tony Stark as a father and a kickass CEO Pepper Stark as your mom, there’s no way you can be as good at things as they are. That would be too much for one family. Oh. Wait, no biologically, Mom isn’t your mom. Your mom was a druggie. Guess she had more of an effect on you than you thought. She may have died on the streets, but maybe any chance you had of being a Stark, a smart Stark like your dad, died with her.
Luckily, before your dad can call you out on the fact that you’ve gone silent, your phone goes off. We’re All In This Together, your group chat with Ned, MJ, Betty, and Peter, has new notifications.
BB: Did you all see that Spider-Man crashed into a building while he was swinging around Queens yesterday?
MJ: He did what now? [crying laughing emoji]
PP: That… that doesn’t sound true. He would never do that. [wide eye emoji]
BB: [sends video clip]
BB: Apparently, there was a news team filming locally and caught it in the background.
NL: Maybe he’s having an off day?
MJ: Seems like it. I’m pretty sure that Spider-Man is supposed to have really good swinging abilities.
BB: you should see the memes that are already happening. Look!
BB: [sends a couple memes and a tiktok of Wrecking Ball but Spider-Man edition]
You can’t help but laugh out loud at the video. Clearly Peter was having a bad day, but the memes are top tier.
“What’s so funny?”
“Spider-Man had an off day, but the memes created from it are too good.”
“What did our spiderling do today?” Your dad asks as he swings the car into park in the garage.
“Well he swung into a building yesterday. But meme culture got a hold of it and created some masterpieces. Like this,” you turn your phone to play the video for your dad. And he laughs just as you had. How could he not?
Maybe today wasn’t the worst day after all.
