TSUKISHIMAA HEADCANONS PLSSSS!!!
the haikyuu movie is finally coming out i can't wait!! i wish they made a season5 and not movie bcuz it's only 1hour long but atleast we'll get to see the dumpster battle finallly!!!
ask and you shall receive!
i'm sorry i couldn't get to your request fast enough i was on a hiatus 😔 but now i'm back and with a new look too!
𝐓𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 ! ‧ ₊˚ ࿊
𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐊𝐘𝐔𝐔 —✩
𖥻 arrogant, blunt, loving, and sweet, that's your boyfriend.
𖥻 cw: none
𖥻 pairing: tsukishima kei x reader
notes: he's so mean i love him. been on a hiatus bc of school but it's summer now so i've got plenty of time to write! there's no scenarios in this one so i tried to make it a little longer to make up for it. hope you like it!
knowing how tsukishima is with his teammates, he'll most likely not change his attitude with you. with some exceptions, of course.
he'll still make fun of or insult you, but he knows not to push it too far. if you're sensitive then he'll respect that.
sometimes he takes a joke too far without realizing, but he'll apologize for it in his own way. apologies don't come easy for him so he goes for alternatives. buying your favorite snack, cuddles, kisses—everything else other than a sorry.
tsukishima is incredibly nonchalant and does not show his emotions often, so it'll probably take him some time to reciprocate your affection.
he isn't big on pda, so him giving you any sort of affection will happen in private.
sometimes however, his teammates would catch you two holding hands and whatnot and will make fun of tsukishima during practice.
taunting him, making kissing noises at him, and teasing him about the fact that he isn't so heartless after all. he'll probably insult them back and that'll be that.
now we all know tsukishima is smart, so if you're struggling with any subjects he tutors you without you having to ask. he'll make sure you fully understand the material before moving on to anything else.
he's an observant guy, so i'm positive he'll know things you haven't told him yet. even the littlest things.
seeing as tsuki is insecure, he definitely has his moments wherein he gets jealous.
it could be something as simple as someone getting too close or even someone just checking you out. either way, you'll have to do something about it (iykwim).
he lets you borrow his glasses sometimes; thinks you look cute with them on.
he's the type to receive gifts from you and make some quip about it being ugly or useless but you'll see it on his person all the time.
definitely arranges museum dates for you guys.
i see tsukishima as a guy who likes doing more subtle things for you. he doesn't like big gestures so he'll be more inclined to do something more meaningful and significant rather than something expressive.
holds the door for you, knows the sidewalk rule, makes sure you don't accidentally bump into anything, and he does these and more without you noticing half the time.
tsuki wants to make you happy, but he's not exactly sure how to so he opts to make your life a little easier.
even though he doesn't show it, he loves you very much and hopes you feel the same as well.

I find it annoying that not enough people seem to understand why Colin is a bit "off" during so much of the first part of the season. That is literally the whole point. Colin is the middle child and is searching for a sense of self and purpose outside of his family. Anthony is the head of the family. Benedict has his art. And Colin feels adrift...
He’s a one-woman sort of man, not a rake. He's a writer with a sensitive poet's heart. But he's also grown up and isn't exactly the dandy he was before in the previous seasons. These aren't exactly qualities that many people in society expect of him-- not just based on general societal expectations, but also because they are comparing him to his siblings. He goes off on adventures and returns to society putting on an act taking on qualities of his older brothers (namely their rakishness and flair). He is doing what others in society seem to expect him to.
This is even reflected in his unawareness of his feelings or at least the possibilities in his relationship with Penelope. He likes her-- always has on some level. On one hand, he was young (and a man) so his emotional maturity and experience was a big factor in his not realizing this sooner. But society's expectations plays a big role too. Society ignores her so he can’t see more because he is always so focused on being what he thinks is expected of him by society. His absolute defense of her and interactions with her only to defend himself against a bunch of the other young men who are laughing at him for dancing with her is proof enough of that.
Now that he’s older and more experienced he’s becoming more aware of that and is trying to figure himself out. The only time he doesn't feel that way is with Pen, which is also why he comes off way more natural when with her. Their kiss was his wake up call and his scenes after really show him struggling to hold on to that fake persona. The carriage was probably the first sign of what we can expect of Colin as a lover and partner— as a man. The second half of the season is going to be more of him really coming into himself with less focus on being what others expect.
I feel like this has been shown abundantly in the show and can't quite understand how so many people seem to completely bypass it.

thinking about human reader and how hylians yk dont like humans, im imagining how id probably react to the chain members who dont rly like humans.(pls pls give how youd react too HELP i need to hear about how others would react too)
like i would be side eyeing (the ones with less than positive opinions) them every time they look in my direction 😭😭 i would be so defensive and would stay AT LEAST 6 feet away from them because i am not about to have that energy around me. i probably wouldnt help with how they view humans ngl
also going with the idea that wild is at least part human, i think thatd itd be fun to bond w him over certain human traits that they both have. like breaking the weapons??? (i probably couldnt even hold them, unless we're going with the idea of humans being stronger than hylians) also i saw something about wild healing by stuffing a shit ton of fruit down his throat being a human trait, and oml imagine being like "hey wild can i have like 20 apples??? i need to heal rq"
okay okay but what if.. human reader AND they were like the guide voice they heard on their journeys(im specifically thinking about isekai reader who played the games and the links could hear their voice while they played the game, but however you wanna view it works too)?? how much would that change their view on humans??
okay sorry about the rant but like i needed to get my thoughts out
Oh goodness, if I was there I would be stressed as hell. DX
I'm a people pleaser by default. The subtle knowledge that I did nothing wrong but am still on their bad side would prompt me to be super nice and extra helpful and overall be and pushover because I need them to not not like me.
I'd still like glue to Wolfie because I love dogs and since Twilight doesn't care, he'd let me be close and I'd project all my anxiety onto this four legged creature. He is now my emotional support dog.
But for guide! reader to also be human. Hmmmm... Talk about a culture shock. The more suspicious/distrusting of the group would likely have an aneurism. A full blown record scratch. Broken brain moment.
It would be a better turning point for them to learn that sort of thing to be more accepting of humans. Not that they'll have a full 180 then and there.
But if the voice they've grown attached to a human, knowing that what they do and have done, are they really that bad?
But there's still the ever present idea of, is this person who they've grown to love and admire from a distance really not all what they thought they appeared to be?
It'll take some time to come to terms, but it's certainly a catalyst.

I have been thrown head first into the Alan Becker fandom, so here are my headcanons for each of the characters
• Blue: He/him, 19ish years old
Only cis guy, totally a stoner, absolutely has blazed it with Yellow, has a genuine problem with netherwartz, has gotten really good at measuring by eye
• Yellow: They/them, 20 years old
Intelligent in most areas except socially and emotionally, has probably figured out a way to staple their glasses to their face so they don’t fall off in battle, second in command when TSC isn’t there
• Green: Any pronouns, 17 years old
The most tiktok fuckboy to ever exist, I think they’d legit love brainrot humor. I think they have the typical story of a confident front but they’re actually a bit of a softie on the inside. That isn’t to say her confidence is fake, but it’s not all there is to her
• Red: She/they, 17 years old (youngest)
The most passionate, feels very strongly about most things, probably debates TSC about a bunch of different topics. I think she has an inferiority complex and is trying to prove herself to everyone, but keeps failing
• TSC/Second: He/they, 18 years old
Aroace, Jaded shonen protagonist, very headstrong, a little sick of everyone’s shit but would sacrifice the world for them, very curious and excited to learn new skills. He can get pretty introspective, and has a math/science > English/history brain, probs also has insomnia cause he’s so tired during the day, probs has ADHD too
• Purple: He/him, probably same age as Red
Trans guy, very closed off, lets no one see his insecurities, seemingly unrequited crush on green, not good with emotions at all. I feel like he mostly relied on his facade of confidence until it just started cracking more and more. He desperately seeks approval from everyone even slightly older than him.
• TCO/Chosen: They/them, mid-late 20s
When they went to the outer net with TDL, they were mostly just looking for some kind of cathartic release from all the anger they held towards Alan, until they realized the consequences it had on real people and websites. They thought they were this kind of liberator figure when in reality, they were just pointlessly destructive. Them and TDL dated for a short period of time after they arrived in the outernet. They only had each other for a while and the shared trauma they had faced together sort of swept them up into a relationship. Also they have PTSD
• TDL/Dark: He/him, slightly younger than TCO
He never let go of his anger. They never went into the outernet with the goal to liberate, they went in to destroy as much as possible so they wouldn’t have to feel the pain of processing what they were made for. He figured if he could finally get rid of all computers, then his code wouldn’t force him to be aggressive anymore. He was genuinely proud of his project and thosught TCO had the same ideals as him. He also has PTSD
• Victim: He/him, early 30s
By far the weakest of the hollowheads, dresses very formally, and was fully aware of what he was doing to Chosen

hii! <3 may i request a hc about mashle characters if they found out they had a little sister in the middle of their school year and how they would act to her, also if possible, can you add a small part where they first interacted?
i have a sister..? ──── mashle various.
featuring. mash squad + ames brothers.
notes. this is an interesting req! all platonic fluff.
★ MASH BURNEDEAD
sweet, poor, mash would be so confused. she has the same honey eyes as him. even more miraculously, the same bangs and the same smooth silky hair that's in a specificly round shape. a one liner with pretty average magic. she does not like cream puffs. she likes tarts. obsessively. so when she's in the dormitory kitchen making berry tarts for herself and mash came in to make cream puffs, they stared at each other and she immediately screamed "you just look like me!!" and mash tilts his head. "i didn't know i had a twin." and she replied, head also tilting, "we're twins..?" both of them are equally dumb cuz why not.. mash's sis is based on this art.
★ FINN + RAYNE AMES
little female version of them with black and yellow/blonde hair definitely stands out. so it was made into a commotion then rayne being a d.v. came to the commotion where one day it just exploded. his sister didn't even hesitate to call him brother at first sight. he froze at the sight of her and suddenly all the memories came flushing in of her being taken away. (oo mysterious) "tell me your name. now." he demands and she tells him and he covers his mouth at her voice. his sister who was taken away from him so long ago is now here, standing right in front of him. rayne caught sight of finn standing afar, also frozen. then finn runs to catch his long lost sister in a hug. omg so emotional
★ LANCE CROWN
new victim to siscon about. im kidding. he doesn't know he has a wayyyy elder sister that's like d.v. level. she left the crown family long ago before lance was born so he know not of her existence. she came to visit the school one day as a special guest to demonstrate magic to the students. accidentally introduced as a crown before saying she has no surname cuz if fam issues. uses gravitiy magic, but hers is more intense and solid. lance knew they were related of some sort but he is unsure. confronts her after the demo as she's leaving the school. honestly, his sister would be shocked that there are two of her little successors. would tell lance to keep doing what's he's doing and she's very motivating! lance knows she wants nothing to do w the fam anymore and he respects her for it, wishing her luck in life.
★ DOT BARRETT
in denial. there's a big difference in their appearance. she'd probably won't have such striking red hair as he does but more to a softer colour. i'm betting on her having a calm personality. but her ability tho. it's the same exact magical ability, hereditary, in fact. so when she appeared in school right in front of him, they were staring at each other in silence before dot started freaking out and started accusing her of looking similar to him. they also have the same line marking!! she's just there like "...?" then she'll ask, "are you dot barrett?" he nods. "oh wow! i'm a barrett too! although i was absent pretty much your whole life. lemme introduce myself, i am your sister bla bla bla" super respectful.
★ LEMON IRVINE
lemon having a sister??? younger or older, it doesn't matter. she's just really happy to find out she has a sister kept secret from her for the longest time. probably has super long hair. very confident and charismatic. she's under the wing of another family as that family wanted lemon's sister to be a bride of their son. they first met when she came to visit the irvine house and lemon immediately recognised her as she's that one cool girl in school. they immediately clicked and become close to each other after lemon's parents told lemon abt her secret sister. vv wholesome and sweet. the next day at school they're already besties doing whatever sisterish things they've always wanted to do if they hv a sister.

Top five btvs headcannons?
Hmm. Lots of options to choose from, but let's go with:
Of all the deaths we see on the show that the characters are weirdly blase about and never talk about again (which is most of them) the one I feel should matter most is Kendra's. The writers very obviously don't care about Kendra at all (in a way that makes me pretty angry if I think about it for long) but, at the same, the only way I can reconcile my idea of Who Buffy Is As A Person with the events of the post-Becoming seasons is to try to persuade myself that Buffy is thinking about Kendra a lot of the time, and that this meaningfully affects her relationship with Faith in Season 3 (and, for that matter, with Dawn in Season 5 and the Potentials in Season 7 too). Because, yes, Faith represents a lot of Buffy's own supressed thoughts and desires, and yes, there are lots of parallels in Season 3 between Faith and Angel. But the very fact Faith exists as a Slayer at all should be enough to remind Buffy of the Slayer who was called after her and died before her. How could that not bleed into her relationship with Faith as a person? How can Buffy not look at Faith and be constantly thinking of the Slayer she failed to save? (According to the show's writers, the answer is: very, very easily.[1])
Sort of a meta-headcanon (a headcanon schema?), but: as far as possible, I like to believe that the Buffy characters who are meant to be friends might actually talk to each other sometimes. And when we don't see various personal conflicts get resolved on screen, yet everything seems back to normal later (especially between seasons), I tend to assume they just talked things through a bit off-camera. Probably Buffy and Xander had a conversation after Dead Man's Party which involved him offering a grovelling apology, which is why they're still on speaking terms later that season. Probably Joyce and Buffy actually talked a bit about her being the Slayer before Faith, Hope & Trick, so that Joyce's claim to have "tried to march in the Slayer Pride Parade isn't as absurd as it seems to be on the face of it". Probably Giles and Buffy talked about the Cruciamentum a bit after Helpless, which is why she's forgiven him by the time the next episode starts and she never brings his role up in it again. In particular, this is why I kind of hate the reveal in Season 7's Selfless that Xander never admitted to his Lie in Becoming, and that Buffy just spent the last five years thinking Willow decided to try to cast the spell to restore Angel's soul again without asking Buffy's permission or giving her any warning she was about to try it beyond "kick his ass".
There really isn't any evidence for it in canon and I suspect it's ultimately purely the invention of one of the early 2000s Fuffy writers, but I really like the popular fanfiction conceit that there is some sort of mystical connection between Slayers which (in a way that varies a little depending on the writer) gives them some additional awareness of the other Slayer's presence or emotional state. Not just because I'm enough of a sap to think that that's kind of romantic (although I am and I do), but because it's a nice way to explain away some slightly contrived bits of plotting in the show (all three Slayers have a way of finding each other very quickly when the plot requires it). In the same spirit, though with perhaps a little more evidence in canon, I like the idea that Buffy and Faith's shared dreams don't just happen when we see them, but have basically been going on ever since Faith arrived in Sunnydale (or at least since Faith's coma). Also, relatedly, I still like this headcanon I posted last month.
Sort of an anti-headcanon in some ways, but I refuse to accept that Buffy's memory of trying to tell her parents about vampires back in LA -- and being briefly institutionalized as a result -- (which was revealed/retconned in Season 6's Normal Again) is real. I think that (whatever the show claims) it had to have been a false memory implanted by the same demon that was giving her visions of still being there. Say what you like about whether or not the Joyce we see on the show was a good parent, but this is just blatant character assassination of the worst sort. It completely changes how we have to see Buffy's relationship with her mother and makes several scenes and outright plot points absurd (even if Joyce is the sort of monster who could forget about having her doctor locked up, even after learning that actually Buffy was always telling the truth, why would a Buffy who had been through that still keep a diary in the house she shares with her mother where she talked about the supernatural or prominently put up crucifixes in her house or make jokes about 'saving the world from vampires' when her mother asked her what she was thinking? why would she care about her mother's opinion of her at all? why would she wait until Season 2 to run away from home, and why would she ever come back?). Taken seriously, this just totally undermines a major part of Buffy's character and one of the most important relationships in her life. And for what? A stupid "maybe this is all a dream?" ending to the episode that means nothing and never goes anywhere. No, fuck that. Didn't happen and I simply refuse to believe it did. (I also strongly dislike the idea that it's a false memory caused by Dawn's presence; Dawn doesn't deserve to be blamed for that and her existence isn't meant to have had that big of an impact on the world.)
[1] Actually if I'm being totally honest I suspect that if you polled most of the show's writers with this question the answer you'd get back would be "who's Kendra?"

I know multiple of these are likely important to people, but I'm asking in terms of like - which of these do you tend to focus on the MOST, enjoy the most, that is most essential for you to actually care about the media, etc.?
(For example: someone finding "Relatability" most important would likely not enjoy a show much if they have trouble empathizing with the characters/relating to it, even if it were good otherwise. Or, someone might be able to overlook bad acting and ugly costumes, as long as the Character Dynamics are fun to them, because they value that more than Aesthetics- while for others, bad costumes would be a dealbreaker.)
Also feel free to reblog and explain your answer or more information in the tags- I've always been curious about people's relationships to media, how they conceptualize it/what they get out of it, how some people value some parts more than others, how that informs their overall taste and genres they may be more inclined towards, etc. :0c

Thomas Stafford was the ninth child and second surviving son of Henry Stafford, 1st Baron Stafford and Ursula Pole. Little is known of his early life, first being mentioned in 1550 as he travelled to Rome, where he associated with his uncle Reginald Cardinal Pole. He spent three years in Italy before travelling to Poland, obtaining the recommendation of King Sigismund Augustus who requested Mary restore him to the Dukedom of Buckingham.
Augustus's appeal appeared to have no effect. When Stafford returned to England in January 1554 he joined the rebellion led by Thomas Wyatt; this arose out of concern of Mary's determination to marry Philip II of Spain. The rebellion failed and Thomas was captured and briefly imprisoned in the Fleet Prison before fleeing to France. There, he intrigued with other English exiles and continued to promote his claim to the English throne.
On 18 April 1557 (Easter Sunday) Stafford sailed from Dieppe with two ships and over 30 men. Landing in Scarborough on 25 April 1557, he walked into the unprotected castle and proclaimed himself Protector of the Realm,[2] attempting to incite a new revolt by denouncing the Spanish marriage, railed against increased Spanish influence and promised to return the crown "to the trewe Inglyshe bloude of our owne naterall countrye".[1][3][4] Stafford claimed he had seen letters at Dieppe showing that Scarborough and 12 other castles would be given to Philip II and garrisoned with 12,000 Spanish soldiers before his coronation.[5] Three days later, the Earl of Westmorland recaptured the castle and arrested Stafford and his companions. Stafford was beheaded for treason on 28 May 1557 on Tower Hill, after imprisonment in the Tower of London. Thirty-two of his followers were also executed after the rebellion.[6].

i have planned to write a pseudo-essay or some kind of detailed look at linebeck in phantom hourglass and how he can be interpreted as autistic but thats not going very well right now so here are some autistic linebeck headcanons
He has low empathy and as such has a hard time responding very well to emotional situations, but he can take advantage of his lower empathy in situations where empathy could make things harder, like tending to wounds or rationally handling emotionally-charged situations
His coat is a comfort object and he made it specifically to act as a very slight accommodation; it’s heavy and barely lets any light through it, and he can keep all kinds of little things in pockets sewn into the inner lining, but larger objects do make it more uncomfortable to wear at times. It’s mostly good to carry around things to fidget or stim with and can be helpful in trying to recover from overwhelming sensory experiences
He doesn’t usually stim in public, but taps his fingers on tables quickly and tends to rhythmically snap his fingers when excited, and on his ship is more vocal and more willing to stim, even if around others. One of his main stims that he’ll do for no particular reason is that he’ll hold his arm or back of his wrist/hand up to his nose and mouth for the smell.
He masks frequently to please people. His default mask is that arrogant and brave front he puts up for islanders and other he may come across. Usually, if that mask doesn’t work, he tends to double-down because it usually works and, in his experience, dropping the mask has usually gone badly (non masking he’s rude and blunt but more outwardly excited about adventure and his ship and all of that, i consider it where overseas in the game is when he usually isn’t masking. this shifts his arc to be about him learning to stop masking and feel comfortable being himself)
His special interests could include stuff related to treasure hunting but it could really range from stuff about adventuring or the ocean or engineering (relating to his ship) to stuff not at all touched in the game like music. He really enjoys music, listening to it, playing it, and writing it. He also enjoys and is fascinated by shellfish.
When busy or otherwise occupied, he doesn't usually notice when he's hungry. He doesn't have as much of a problem noticing thirst or exhaustion, but feeling hunger is a problem for him, and often leads to him going a long time without eating. On the other hand, he doesn't mind eating the same thing repeatedly and is perfectly fine with blander foods, so handling food supplies for when he'll be overseas for a long time is easy for him.
He knows he's autistic, he's known for a pretty long time, and he has books on it; he also knows that Link is autistic, but doesn't say anything about it and instead waits until someone else tells him. Until (and after, I suppose) Link actually learns that he's autistic Linebeck just makes sure to keep note of what accommodations he might need and if there are any textures or tastes or smells he can't stand. He doesn't have much of a problem helping out during sensory overloads, even soon after meeting him. It's more out of understanding how it feels to not have your needs met and a sort of solidarity rather than actual friendship.

I've actually found a coherent (negative) criticism on Jingli.u's quest!! Wow!! It's in Chinese on weibo
This user said her behaviour is very double standard. That she criticises and condemns both Dan Fen.g and Yingx.ing severely for trying to bring back Bai.heng in any way, but then she goes to visit Bail.u and tells her that seeing her is better than any medicine. And the user is right! That's exactly why they did what they did (well, I've always been of the opinion that Dan Fen.g had more reasons going on based on the in game information), so why the insistent asking to Blade?
The user also says that Jingliu doesn't really behave at all like a friend, that while very believable that she loved and was close to Bai.heng, it's hard to believe the same thing when it comes to Yingxi.ng and Dan Fen.g. They said that nowadays we still see instances through the Xianzhou in which they are both spoken about in positive terms, that Yingxi.ng is talked about as a legendary furnace master, and we can even stumble upon good opinions on Dan Fen.g, but that Jingli.u never shows that kind of understanding for people in theory she loved, knew personally and was close to.
I don't agree entirely with this, I do think there was a lot of fondness from Jingliu shining through despite everything (especially towards Yin.gxing, in my opinion), but I do think it's a somewhat fair criticism. I loved how they mention that despite everything the Xianzhou's view on Yingxin.g and Dan Fen.g isn't just negative. They're right, and it's a detail I love.
