"The man mentioned 'die trying'... It might just be worth a try to give him what he wanted. That is, if you can live with it".
I very much would like not to, but there's no other way. The choice is a falsehood

I care more about the Bloodhound Family Member blocking our way than about Firefly, ngl. He seems so honest and principled, and he feels awful for bothering us while trying desperately to get ahold of the little dignity he feels he has. He says he'll die trying because he has nothing left to lose, and here I am, manipulating his emotions only to get this shady liar to her "secret base" like she is an eight years old that has watched too many cartoons.

"Chaos turns into time, your dereliction of duty will pass, the volume is no longer proportional, the steps are reduced, one step, two steps, three feet, away from everything, be careful, Elio, the train moves forward, the baby falls to the ground, the cancer is growing... "
So Elio is linked to Fuli the Remembrance?

Anyway, I love Aventurine and it's for pretty similar reasons why I love Blade so fervently

Unspeakable what Blade's monologue does to me, especially in its culmination. The line "...like when we drank to drown our sorrows..." falls onto me like a tombstone every time

It's as if they're saying... "Why... why did you and Imbibitor Lunae commit such an unforgivable sin?"
I know that you have no interest in my answer.
...which is why I asked the question as you looked me straight in the eye. I've asked myself that same question infinite times... but was never able to find the answer...
Why... why is it that only the abominations can return time and time again...?
Why does someone like her have to be buried, burned to ash, and eventually forgotten...? Why!?
This play on questions that await no answer, yet are in their way a response to what was asked, is so good

The video of Sparkle was so good. The killing of the selves, the underlying vacuum, the disregard for one's own life,... Truly not so different from Aventurine in some ways. It makes one wonder, again, but also understand better, perhaps, why he was invited to the Tavern
