703,271. Which is, um, a lot.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Good Girls (formerly), HPI (formerly), and l'Art du Crime. There's also a random bit for les Combattantes, and one GG fic has a shared universe with Graceland. I'm very mono-fandom lol.

Unsurprisingly, these are all GG fics, although I don't think my kudos ranking is accurate because most of these were impacted by the great kudos-bombing gate from 2020 so it's hard to tell what's actually my most kudo-ed fic.
5. Do you respond to comments?
Absolutely. My secret goal is to keep the conversation going back and forth for the longest possible time because I love the opportunity for a good ramble about my writing 😈
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I wanna say Ad vitam æternam (L'art du crime)? I mean, it's literally an MCD fic, so, not that merry... Also if I remember correctly, Always lost in the sea (HPI) doesn't end on a very hopeful note either.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I don't know? All of them? None? I generally tend to go for happy open endings with that extra bit of bittersweet so I really couldn't tell. But hey, maybe the ending to that thing I'm currently writing actually is the happiest of it all, because oh boy, things do get cheesy at some point 🥺
8. Do you get hate on fics?
No at all! Unless you count that one person who commented on several chapters of whichever long GG fic I wrote just to point blank hate on Beth character lol
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Of course I do (in English only), I like my porn toxic and desperate and angsty with just the right amount of power play and mutual hatred. Basically, I write hatefuck 😂
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Not really, no... I've tried a couple of times, but I think I'm better at/more interested in mimicking existing interactions than inventing a dynamic between characters who never met canonically (and also, boy the kind of SETUP you need to justify some characters crossing paths... it's just too much work). I'm more of a cameo/easter egg kind of writer, so once in a while I'll allow a character from another fandom to pop up in a fic and say hi, but it's really a blink-and-you'll-miss-it kind of encounter.
I guess my craziest attempt would be that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend / Good Girls crossover that I never finished though, cause like, super different moods?
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I'm aware of but I don't really attempt to know
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes! By myself lol. I once posted a fic in two languages before acknowledging it was a hell of an additional work 😭
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Kinda? We never finished nor even posted it but at some point we shared a quite unhinged co-writing story with @whiskeyjack and @00gangfriend00 and it was a lot of fun 🥰

You... you guys have that? You don't just live by your Ship of the Moment just to instantly forget about it and hop on the Next Ship when it shows up? I'm sorry but I don't think I have one of those.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

It's All Coming Back To Me, obviously. Look, I really really want to finish it, not even for me at this point, but for the 120-something people who subscribed to it, for the faithful readers who still leave me comments every now and then hoping for closure. I know how it ends. I have it partially written. I just don't seem to know how to write for Good Girls anymore, and getting my head back into it feels like such an insurmountable load of work, I just- I'm trying, ok?
But like, if someone's interested in helping, or even writing that ending based on my notes (and getting full and proper credits for it obvi), just let me know! I'm really open to it 🥲
16. What are your writing strengths?
Probably dialogues? I've been told many times that my dialogues feel very close to the original, and the thing is, I write about TV shows and I have a very good ear so I think I catch quite easily the actors' voices and tones and mannerisms in my head, so every time I write down a line, I play it several times in my mind with the character's voice to determine whether they would say it like that or not. Looks like it's not working so bad.
Also I *think* I'm not too bad at stream-of-consciousness inner monologues. At least it's one of my favourite things to write so there's that.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Action scenes (that includes sex lol). Filling the gaps between the important parts. Descriptions. Setting up the scene.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Like, featuring two different languages inside the same fic, or writing in different languages? I'm not sure I've ever really written the first one? I guess I find it a bit clunky, occasionally I've written scenes that included a character whose native language wasn't the one of the fic, and I'd give them a line or two if that's relevant to the plot (for instance, if characters are lost somewhere in another country, I can add a line/dialogue in another language for comedic effect. Or it can be a way for a character to whisper something for themselves), but the logistics are quite nightmarish, you gotta either assume your audience knows the second language, or translate the lines in the author's note, or have another character translate it in a way that doesn't sound too articifial, that's really really tedious haha

I used to. Hardly ever anymore, and unfortunately, I've got solid reasons for that. I will respond to them if someone asks a question that legitimately needs answering or similar. And while I maybe don't respond to them anymore, I do read every single one multiple times. I love comments, and I'm so grateful for everyone who takes time out of their lives to leave them for me <3
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Ah...heh. That's really not an easy question to answer for me. I guess, coming from a personal stance, knowing everything I put into it and the build up that led to then ending, I'd have to say Wasteland. That's the one that's still lingering with me to this day.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
That's also hard to answer, because as much as I love flooding my fics with angst, I have a lot that end very happy or hopeful. Narrowing it down to longer fics with more character arc throughout, I'd probably say This Way We Fall because it leaves them on such a high note after all the struggle.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Unfortunately, yes, but that's part of it, I guess. I've become better at ignoring it.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do, but at the end of the day, it's mostly just typical smut when I look at it, though I do have a few kinkier ones scattered in there (ceiling smut, er...inter-species stuff). There's also the...not entirely nice stuff when it comes to smut as well simply because I like exploring all aspects of most everything.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Haven't so far. Doubt I ever will, but you never know.

Oh god. YOU. It's not posted anywhere, still only exists in my docs, but I'm convinced that fic will haunt the rest of my life.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I always struggle with questions like this, but that also means I've spent a lot of time thinking about it over the years. I think, mostly based on reactions I've had and what other people have said, that I'm quite good at capturing heavy and deep emotions, hopefully enough to not only grip a reader, but to plunge them into the heart of a scene and make them feel those emotions as well.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Details? There are times I think I'm terrible at this, and not just in fiction writing. It's in everything. Something might exist in my head, and I sometimes manage to forget that not everyone can see my exact thoughts and know what I'm thinking, so I leave important bits and pieces out of things and explanations that only end up confusing people - or worse, makes me seem not so great in general simply because I forgot the inclusion of a very important point when it mattered most.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I'm not against it, though it's not something I generally do because I don't know any other languages and that's a risky game to play. I'll only include it if I've spoken to someone who speaks that language fluently and has agreed to translate for me. But having other languages in a fic is a wonderful thing, especially if you're trying to include other cultures, though speaking as someone who has to rely on things like Google Translate that aren't always accurate, included translations are always appreciated.

This changes constantly for me. I'm not sure how it couldn't. I love most of the fics I've written, and it's like choosing a favorite child sometimes. However, I think right now I'd have to say it's a toss up between CRuSH (i'm just so proud of this one) and Multiplying Parents (also very proud, and this one was so much fun and makes me grin every time i think about it).

Ooof. Maybe spuffy? That met me at a very formative time of my life, and I didn't expect it to become so canon (as opposed to like under a spell etc) and I think that experience really reshaped my brain 🤯🤯🤯 but fundamentally faves questions are immoral thus this is a very rude question.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I hope I'll finish all of them, and do intend to! I'm not sure I'll ever write the hilarious abortion fic tho.

Mm, a love of language/interesting prose. A love of brevity/somewhat chiselled sentences. A love of editing/willingness to improve. Interesting stories. Dialogue, tho brio get little bc theyre annoying. Characterisation!
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Well I violently dislike plot. I don't feel super strong on creating original characters. I'm slow! I'd rather let things be confusing than beat readers over the head with info, which I think can be detrimental. I wouldnt say my descriptions are super strong, though I think they've improved a lil. Sometimes there's too much internal monologue at a go which breaks up the pacing of an eg dialogue scene (though again think that's improved somewhat). My love of planning and love of pantsing are at constant war lol, I get grumpiest abt stuff not having been established earlier and thus needing to state things which couldve been well demonstrated. Blocking, sometimes. I love short stories and oneshots but I'm apparently prone to writing long fics & continuing things into series which I consider a real weakness, lol.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I'm not against it in principle, I've read a lot of books which contain a lot of eg French or Spanish (often untranslated). We've got access to Google translate or w/e right? I do appreciate it when translations are provided bc lazy (and I think Ao3 does poss let you do hyperlinked superscript?). I feel the same way abt it in fic as in other media I think -- if you're happy for it to be a bonus to those that understand and everyone else needs to work to figure it out, I concur. If you think it needs to be understood, then providing translations (even if just as notes @ the end) makes sense.
But I also think pls don't write it via Google translate... If u don't speak the language/don't have someone who can help u translate it, don't write dodgy shite Spanish or w/e 🙈 not everything needs to be literal dialogue u can just say 'he explained to his grandmother abt the change in plans' or w/e I swear
...o wait I'm guessing the q meant me as a writer not reader 🤦 I don't think I've done much of it? Altho I do always seem to imply that every character speaks French, a language I don't really speak so who the hell knows 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

I'll probably and still probably will get a good deal of flack for saying this even though it's not in the tag. However, the Mahiru situation truly feels like overt sexism to me still. I feel like people have a hard time understanding that even if the outcome is positive sexism can still play a part.
So here are some things that I personally find questionable. Feel free to ignore it though since the series is basically testing biases anyhow of course there would be some noticeable ones.
A. How people assume Mahiru's lover is the one who cheated and not her.
This combined with the assumptions about Kazui cheating really does just give the energy that a lot of people assume men cheat exceedingly more than women. It is true that more men than women cheat. However, according to a self-reporting study conducted it is a marginal difference of 7%. Twenty percent of men reported that they have cheated in comparison to the thirteen percent of women in a survey conducted over the course of 2010-2016.
That then literally goes on to say this-
Outside of the fact that Mahiru literally admits to cheating in the lyrics of her second fucking song and everyone graciously went oh she's referring to the murder. Despite him being on his knees begging pleading for her to tell him where she's been something also alluded to not only through lyrics but visuals. People really only went as far to go the visuals are a metaphor and that's where critcal thought ended it seems.
Because there's no way saying some shit like this shouldn't raise a few red flags-
"Unfair and stuck between in love and love."
Okay, Mahiru what do you mean by that second use of love. How are you stuck between being in love and love care to elaborate-
"This can’t go on, something’s got to give, I even love saying the words, “I love you” My emotions are out of control, that’s inconvenient? I don’t care! Tell me, oh tell me why, won’t you just accept me?"
Um- okay that explains nothing... Your emotions are out of control how, exactly? Accept what about you?
"I don’t need anyone else, as long as I have you. I could do anything as long as you smiled, I actually believed that. The happiness we tightly bound up and suffocated, is no longer here. If I could see you again, I wonder, what would I say to you and how?"
Oh, so you meant stuck between wanting to be in a state of romance and having flings. Um, don't fucking date then or have an open relationship- Oh!
"I guess we can just say that this feeling is happiness. I can’t stop feeling like there’s something missing. What do you think? I know it's not the type of question you want to be asked."
Oh-
"Giving you love to the point of pulling you down." - "The happiness we tightly bound up and suffocated, is no longer here."
This could be referring to the restrictions of a committed relationship. Since that's referred to as tying someone down, tying the knot, making things official. So, this could just as easily be referring to the difficulties or feeling of being confined that comes with having that more serious relationship but still wanting to experience more casual things.
"Stuck between in love and love."
Q.19 What was your lover like?
Shidou: She was a strong person. I'm quite careless in private, so I’ve been relying on her.
Mahiru: Overall just a kind person.
"This can’t go on, something’s got to give, I even love saying the words, “I love you”. My emotions are out of control, that’s inconvenient? I don’t care! Tell me, oh tell me why, are you not here anymore?"

Mahiru literally says I know I don't have the right to say that "I love you" after what I've done and people generously went she means the murder but that's some grade a horseshit. Oh, well Gunsli how do you know that because all of these lyrics are in present tense not past and Mahiru blatantly writes this during her second trial interrogation-
Q.02 How do you feel about your victim?
Shidou: I do not know which one you are referring to.
Mahiru: I loved him.
Specifically past tense. This tells anyone immediately that her song is displaying the situation as it happened without considering the way she feels about him now. Meaning this is a conversation that occurred just like with Yuno and the "What do you want to do? Please tell me." line in Umbilical.
So, she just comes on the mic and admits to cheating but everyone just overlooked that in favor of going fuck men. Something I'm just not behind because when it comes to cheating and domestic violence the gender of the perpetrator shouldn't impact how you feel about objectively shitty behavior.
Mahiru knows what she did was wrong and says so. Despite knowing how much she loves saying, "I love you" enough to make it the title of her song she literally near the climax says she doesn't deserve to say it. To me that says a lot about how she feels regarding her own actions.
Simply put, who cheated or not doesn't matter, and it should never have any impact on if it's excusable/justifiable to take someone's life or not. People can end relationships without someone ending up dead, it's as simple as that to me. If he did cheat fucking dump him and if she cheated and he didn't dump her that's his prerogative but fucking sucks overall.
B. How people were quick to forgive Kazui believing that he cheated and that possibly led to his significant other committing suicide so it isn't murder.
Ummm big talk coming from a fandom that voted two people guilty trial one for what they suspected to be suicides. Futa for the hat girl situation and Mahiru herself for the situation with her boyfriend. Stating Futa's harassment is what led to the victim committing it, so he was responsible and that Mahiru being clingy/suffocating led her significant other to killing himself so in that sense she was also responsible.
However when it came to Kazui cheating an incredibly trust destroying and emotion shattering thing to do to someone you claim to love let alone married leading to someone taking their life- Yeah he wasn't responsible for that he's a man after all they can't control their urges that well. Plus, if he was gay there would be a lot of societal reasons why he would get married just out of convenience or to avoid stigmatization in that sense he is a victim too.
Wow, that's a nice story some have created there. However, being gay doesn't excuse murder or literally using another person that loves may love him and he under this context fully knows loves him to cover his own ass without once being honest to them about his feelings. That's literally emotional manipulation but let's not even go into that part. If driving someone to commit suicide through a relationship/communicative issue is okay here, then why wasn't it okay for the other two?
Well, the circumstances were different.
Yeah, they were a good deal of people assumed Mahiru was lying about dating at all and that Futa was the source of the worst bit of harassment that girl faced despite him downright saying other people were involved.
Kazui on the other hand came on stage singing about the curse of reuniting with someone, how that other person's heart would never change, and how if nothing changed his feelings would float away and disappear. People not only did not question the status of his relationship at all, but immediately attached the most sympathetic narrative they could to it.
Based on the appearance of one guy who is yelling at Kazui who very well could be the other woman's husband or her again because they are wearing very similar clothes.
Yuno, someone we can deduce through context clues slept with somebody else's husband or significant other. Along with directly bringing up how adultery is sensationalized in her very first trial interrogation says this,
Q.18 Which of the other prisoners is most like you?
Haruka: Nobody. They’re all amazing people.
Yuno: Kazui without a doubt.
Second issue if Kazui was fucking married why is his voice line a love confession?! Is he confessing that he loves his wife to his wife? Is his confession to the woman at the bar,
"Er, so…… could you listen to what I say without laughing? I……Hinako, I love you more than anything. I'm so dumb...why did I have to dream?"
Who he's cheating on his wife with if the cheating thing is true?
Hell, to take it a step further- Haruka stole his mother's necklace why didn't anyone just go oh Kazui stole his victims wedding ring at any point? Because he could have done that just because he has a ring doesn't mean he's married or it's his.
As much as I like Kazui he was given a great deal of the benefit of the doubt and leniency. Something I am inclined to believe is because he's conventionally attractive since literally every adult who was voted guilty during trial had conventionally undesirable traits.
I'm bringing him up to go why was it okay for him to cheat yet the idea of Mahiru's boyfriend cheating on her justifies him being murdered somehow. Even though in my opinion Mahiru just literally admits to cheating in her second song. She's not even really that vague about it. Plus, it would make sense if she did cheat because jumping into a committed relationship immediately after gaining some personal freedom without giving oneself time to experience more things considering her upbringing is a good way to end up cheating.
Q.05 Did you have a good relationship with your family?
Shidou: Yes. It really was a family as happy as you could dream of.
Mahiru: I think I was what they call a "sheltered girl". I'm thankful to my mom and dad, but perhaps they were a little strict.
Q.17 Tell us your dating history.
Shidou: I don't remember much but, I had one girlfriend in kindergarten, and in elementary school I had two relationships. I started going out with my wife in the 2nd year of middle school, and we've been together ever since.
Mahiru: I attended a girls middle school and a girls high school, so I didn't date anyone until I started university.
So, jumping into a committed relationship immediately may not have been the healthiest thing to do. Since a romantic relationship is a long-term commitment that comes with a myriad of restrictions especially if it's exclusive or strictly monogamous.
C. Ignoring blatant signs of domestic abuse
Regardless of the circumstance Mahiru's actions caused her partner emotional distress which she continually ignores and revels in ignoring throughout her song.
Literally singing,
"This can’t go on, something’s got to give, I even love saying the words, “I love you” My emotions are out of control, that’s inconvenient? I don’t care! Tell me, oh tell me why, won’t you just accept me?"
Then when he is displayed doing something similar her immediate response is to start forcing something in his mouth to shut him up.
Visually implied to be forcing him to eat as she sings,
"I just love you so much."
She even continually repeats throughout, I Love You-
"What you trampled is my, “This is how to be in love with you”."
Which may not only be referring to the audience but him as well and directly after this visual we're back to the merry go round and the next time we see him he's hanging as she keeps singing.
"Mon-mon-monstrously in love, in love! Mon-mon-monstrous, cuz I love you so much! Mon-mon-monstrously in love, in love. A monstrous dilemm... “DIE”."
Die is in quotation marks here something used to indicate what characters within the series have said at a point. We see this done throughout all the songs and these appear to be snippets of conversations or things they said to or around their victims or regarding their crimes.
In a creative way of going, this is a direct quote not an artistic retelling like the rest of the song.
There are several in I Love you.
“See you next week?” , “This is how to be in love with you” , “I love you”, and "DIE".
In This Is How To Be In Love With You there are three.
"I'm ok", “Good Morning!”, "ok".
So, at one point she told him to die, and literally used the English word for it. This means she probably wanted him to die for one reason or another that we don't know yet.
Overall, I'm not saying all this to be like oh yeah Mahiru should be super Guilty just pointing out something that's been annoying me lately. That's why I'm not really tagging this.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Absolutely I do, and would find it rude not to. I know other people have all kinds of reasons they don't respond but I don't have any of those reasons, especially since I'm pathetically grateful every time someone bothers to say they liked something, lol. If anyone's even a tiny bit encouraged to become a repeat reader by the writer responding, I want to encourage that as much as possible. Plus, every once in a while, you can get a dece conversation going in the comments! Find a like-minded fan! That's worth any effort to compose a few sentences of thanks. The only comments I don't respond to are emoji strings or cut-and-paste 'another kudos here' comments, because they're not actually comments. (I appreciate the thought, but... I don't want them.)
What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I have had some beta friends who would argue about this one, lol. I guess the saddest is probably the hollow summer, since the whole plot is kind of hurt/no comfort. I don't believe in a successful boy king, let's say that.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
again, probably depends on how you define 'happy'. glory days is probably the most cheerful; for me, the happy comes better with more experience behind it, so the thirty-third yard would maybe be my personal choice.
Do you get hate on fics?
nope; worst I ever got was some twerp who actually responded to someone else's comment, bitching that I didn't put the right peepee in the right poopyhole. But only one of those, ever, and safely ignored. idk, I don't attract that much.
Do you write smut?
...yes.
Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
only one, and it only sort of counts -- i heard love was blind, which is Cordell Walker/Dean Winchester, but of course the point is that Dean's getting the body of his brother by other means. I like crossovers but I usually want there to be a point beyond 'let's mash these two faves together and see what happens'; I'm more inclined toward doing a whole-universe fusion, e.g. fully placing characters with what you can salvage of their key backstory elements into a universe not their own... which I guess would also count as a crossover, wouldn't it. so I also did that with putting the Winchesters into the Dragon Age 2 plot, in whatever we were before. definitely 'crazier' than the first one here, lol.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I think that's the kind of thing that happens on WattPad. Who cares.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
yes, a few.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I tried; it didn't work. Both people need to be contributing to the writing for it to really count as 'co-written'; nevertheless it's stuck with both author names on ao3 because I don't think there's a way to change that.
What's your all-time favorite ship?
I think from context this should be clear. Although will also forever hold many small candles for the little guys.
What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
the aforementioned "co-written" fic, which was meant to be a huge series. The first fic is finished because I brute-forced my way through it, but there was a full five-season arc we were going to try to get through. Alas. The first one is decent, though, and works as a complete fic on its own: In a Cursed Hour.
What are your writing strengths?
voice, pacing, naturalism; characterization, though that can be argued in a fan-space
What are your writing weaknesses?
plot -- I find it intensely boring. Avoidance of plot then tends to flatten stories into similar non-arcs; I don't mind that, but it's a skill to exercise.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I'll only do Spanish, and that's only because I studied it for eight years. Even then it's usually the wrong choice, unless it's a fully blended multilingual story (which most are not, and in the wrong hands it comes off as absurd); better to convey through the POV character either understanding it or not, and dealing with it in narrative instead of straight dialogue. Although a word or two here or there is nbd, clearly.

Favorite fic you've written?
well, questions, you got me, because I don't believe in favorites. at this moment in terms of writing skill I think the best might be asceticism, but in terms of one that sits in my head and fully just is canon, lol, it might be there will be better days, mentioned above. the only heaven fic I need. I guess that says something.

I was not technically tagged by @winterandwords but I'm still grabbing it from the open tag, and leave it as such :)
1. What motivates you to write?
If I don't do it, no one else will write what I want to see.
2. A line/short snippet of your writing that you are most proud/happy of. If not maybe share a line of someone else's work you love (just please credit them)
Gonna pick the lines that finished a 300k words project spread over 2 novels and 2 novellas :D
“But are you?” he asked after a moment, a hint of uncertainty on his face. “Happy, I mean. Is this how you imagined it?”
Merridy looked from the airy, creme-white curtains to the shimmering rainbow glass shards, and out the window, where in the distance the ocean sparkled in the sun. She raised her gaze to Damien, his eyes fixed on her as if nothing else mattered.
“No,” she whispered. “It’s better.”
3. Which OC makes you smile every time you think/talk about them and what are they like?
We all know how obsessed I am with Damien, but another char that makes me happy is Riordan. I mean — how could a char I introduced as "fancy boots" not make me smile?
Between all the sad guys and tragic backstories, he's just happy and kind (and a bit naive and rude :D), with a nice family, a good life and some fun quirks. He's absolutely the friend Merry and Damien needed.
4. What process of writing do you enjoy the most?
Finishing. Finishing a chapter. Finishing a book with the last little piece fallen into place. Finishing formatting. Just. Being done with something. I am constantly haunted by the fear my interest might vanish before I am done, so being done is... awesome.
Also then I get to make my friends cry then, so that's that.
5. What part of writing do you think you are the best at? (Yes stroke your own ego it's okay)
Sadness :)
6. What is something in the writeblr community is most enjoyable?
Writing can be so very lonely. Spending hours upon hours putting silly little words into a silly little document, no I can't show you anything because I am not done, but listen to me talk about my char you don't know so you don't understand anything about what I am saying.
But here, we all understand the struggle and share the excitement.
7. A writing tool/device you use that helps you with writing? (It could be speech to text, a writing program etc)
Uh. Nothing really exists. I used to write in txt files, now I am in google docs so I can share more easily, which means I have at least a basic spell check now (which is nice, but also no google, I'm not talking about his sons.)
I guess InDesign (some shitty version from 2007) and Calibre are closest - I use them to format my books for printing and as ebook. Calibre is a rock star. InDesign is also the only program I've found so far that correctly fixes straight quotation marks in existing text when pasting in.
8. A piece of worldbuilding that you like in your own story? (It could be the magic system, a particular place in the story, a law etc)
I am a sucker for tying all stories together in some way — recurring characters and places through standalone books, stuff like that. A lot of it is conveniently put on the back of the Order of Fire. It's an order dedicated to gathering and preserving knowledge. They have citadels all over the place, they need scientists, scholars, mercenaries and housekeeping staff, they can connect people from different parts of the world when I need it.
9. What piece of advice would you say to encourage others to write if they are having a rough patch?
I don't know. There's so many reasons for a "rough patch", and every single one requires different advice. For example, "take a break" would be the worst thing I could do right now.
Your story is worth it. Only you can write it. Yes, even if it takes time. Yes, even if similar ones exist. Yes, even if it contains unpopular tropes. Yes.
10. Tag some people whose works you love/have been your biggest supporters
I have a list of my fav works here and I appreciate everyone who ever read my stuff and left a like or comment 💜
But as for support, @alittlewhump @verkja and @starlit-hopes-and-dreams are single(triple)handedly keeping my sanity up. I've found my people in more than one way, and I will stick to you like chewing gum you stepped into. I love you.
