Well, this has been a bit of a... what I'm calling Big Thoughts Summer, which I guess could be categorised as 'a few significant realisations that could be more conducive to more self-acceptance in certain areas' if you wanted to focus on that angle, but 'Big Thoughts' is shorter and also more reflective of what they actually feel like in my head
Things included thus far in Big Thoughts (mostly concentrated on social media/the internet and my reactions to it):
The whole Nicolas Cage thing and associated 'I am cringe but I am free'
Special interests do make a difference in my head (source: me waking up and not having The Discouraging Ennui, which let me tell you was certainly a pleasant surprise after what, 8 years? And now it feels actually more possible)
would my life really be that horrible and unsatisfying if I don't obsess over 'curating' every aspect of it (this was one that I came across when packing up to move, as I was getting stressed because all the advice I saw was to have a big declutter before packing but I simply did not have time)
and on that note, the emphasis on always getting rid of stuff before you organise what's left. Like, I get the logic behind this, but at the same time one of the major things about unpacking was that I didn't know where things were any more. I still can't find my matches for the candles. But I was like 'I can't organise until I've decluttered! All the books and videos say so!' and then 'BUT I NEED TO ORGANISE wait a minute. Why CAN'T I organise things first if I need to?' Still working on it but I've changed my current focus.
what am I even doing with Goodreads/Storygraph. Can't I just read things and not automatically keep a public record of my reading that I'm inevitably going to worry about people judging
also conflicted about keeping a TBR list. I didn't have a proper one until 2012 when I had Goodreads. My dilemma is that I want to remember which books I was interested in (as well as their publication details) but it's also taken a lot of spontaneity/serendipity out of looking for books as well as giving me a whole new to-do list that can be MASSIVE because when it comes to media my eyes are bigger than my stomach. Similar issue with the giant film and TV Spreadsheet of Doom.
my friends have started a writing group and: writing??? is actually fun??? It gives you a feeling of those 'putting down the train tracks just ahead of you while the train is at top speed' cartoons, but in a positive way? 2014 NaNoWriMo me is like 'sounds fake but okay'
cool as in 'exclusive, implying a hierarchy of taste' is OUT. Cool as in 'what someone thinks is fun and/or interesting' is IN (and yes I know that out/in framing implies the former, but I was trying to get my point across in a memorable, understandable way).
I love to look at people's collection rooms. I can't remember how I got to 'man makes fake video store in his basement' on Pinterest, but I noticed that even though such things might not be the 'aesthetic' I think is most beautiful I still liked them a lot? I also came across pictures of Guillermo del Toro's 'Bleak House' where he stores his horror stuff, and honestly goals (maybe not the horror aspect so much, but in the way it's decorated and arranged.)

sometimes I think of all the on-the-surface warm, well-meaning but deeply ineffectual advice and attention john gives harrow through harrow the ninth (make some soup and get some sleep! get a hobby! don't be so hard on yourself! self care harrow! as long as I need take no actual responsibility in this relationship whatsoever I would have loved to be your dad!) set up against the stark truth that with his other hand he has been staging her attempted horrific murder again and again and again like a living nightmare on the logic that it will 'put her down or fix her'. and then I find that I wish there is a hell. a special hell where twitch streamers turned necromantic death emperors go
#the locked tomb#harrowhark nonagesimus#john gaius#harrow the ninth#this is why I don't buy john as misunderstood and initially well-meaning AT ALL#this is a pattern you see with him again and again and again -- right down to his interpersonal relationships#(and indeed it's in the more grounded interpersonal relationships you can most clearly see him as he is I think#the fantasy death empire of a thousand years doesn't register quite as viscerally because it's like. heightened; not quite real#but the emotional violence and manipulation that surrounds him? oh boy that is EXTREMELY real and scarily well-observed)#there's a premeditation to so much of what he does (contracts with planets that only end 'in the event of the emperor's death' anyone?#yeah john we get it you're hilarious and I wish you weren't)#the greatest trick john ever pulled was making anyone think he's just a lil guy. what does he know he's only god#when you first read the book the complete callousness of the other adults is so horrible that john seems like an oasis of care#(though you start to get this uneasy feeling when that care never seems to translate to like... relief or soothing or resolution)#and it makes it feel almost obscene when you find out what's actually going on#it's the mercy & augustine enabler hour but at least they're completely honest in their cruelty there#while john is -- well he sure is being john huh#this is just me being angry with him btw philosophically I don't think this is how the story will or should end#(with john slam dunked right into hell that is)#it's just... harrow is so vulnerable. and what he does to her is so insidious and fucked up#john is very deeply human. unfortunately the capacity to quite simply suck so much is deeply human too

While I was reading Blue Exorcist I didn't fully register just how dark the Illuminati arc was, but watching it animated... holy shit.
I could not imagine going through what Izumo has and is going through. And being in the place of any of the other students? Dealing with unkillable regenerating zombies speaking to me in broken up bits saying they want to go home? Having so much pressure to do things most adults wouldn't be able to do? AT 15 YEARS OLD??
I feel like this is the turning point for the series bc it goes from "heehoo funny with epic fights and some character bonding" to "everyone you love is going to die if you don't fight right now. This world is bleak and horrifying under the thin veil we have created and the fate of it rests on your shoulders, all of you."

Absolutely out of this fucking world how celebrities get cancelled now for saying ‘I don’t want anyone to die’. Seeing Israelis (really just Israeli Jews, because non Jews are just brainwashed to them) as human beings is the pinnacle of evil online now
I agree, that's literally the most common sense response to seeing a war happening, and yet these so-called "activists" read it as "I 100% support the (((apartheid))) and think all Palestinians should die" even though the message was clearly anti death period.

Got a paramount+ trial subscription. Just finished watching all of Strange New Worlds (review: solid star trek shenanigans, pretty much all bangers with the exception of the Spock-is-human episode which just suuuuuucked and the Klingon war trauma episode about which I have let's say Philosophical Reservations in that it could have been more Space M*A*S*H. not as gay as I was promised, in fact I would say disappointingly heterosexual. adore uhura, hemmer and la'an. cannot believe they gorned my boy 😢)
Off sick all week with COVID can't really do anything except lie around and watch TV.
#red said#an addendum to the snw review is like#bearing in mind I'm a big time ds9 guy#i really like every episode of this i think it's fun and delightful. however there are certain philosophical undercurrents I'm#at best kind of iffy on. wrt militarism.#there's points where it feels sort of like the message of the show is that it's naive and harmful to seek peace#or reconciliation#and i think that if i hold it up to tng or ds9 or even tos on that front that's a philosophy that doesn't match up with what i like in trek#like both ds9 and tng are very much about commanders doing extrajudicial war crimes but there's something about the framing#i guess like. it feels To Me like when sisko does a war crimes it weighs very heavily on him#whereas idk. it feels like the message of all the time shenanigans in snw keep coming round to You Should Feel Bad For Not Doing War Crimes#and particularly the arc with Pike staring down his fate concluding with 'you shouldn't try to change this'#compared to like. the foundation of Star Trek being 'in between two unacceptable solutions you have to look for a third way'#it sits a bit wrong for me. like. maybe they're planning more on that but it feels like they've concluded that arc with#'guess i have to let people die to prevent a future where i try to make peace then fuck it up'#like the message of season 1 is You Can't Change Your Fate which is. a weirdly doomery one.#don't get me wrong I've really been enjoying snw i think it's probably the most flat out Good Star Trek since DS9#buuuuuuuut. i have Reservations. as i always do.#also callout post for my pal saying this is the gayest star trek. there's no fucking gays here and the nonbinary character is a 1-ep villain#i mean ortega is for sure a dyke but not explicitly#2 seconds of Andrew Robinson and Alexander Siddig sharing the screen in DS9 is gayer than this whole season and a half of SNW#literally are ANY of this cast canon queer? feel like there's a couple of lines of throwaway bisexuality but be real#we had that in the 90s#it's not toppling DS9 for gay rep any time soon and DS9 was made in the era where you weren't ALLOWED to be gay on star trek#(unless you were evil or a worm)

I think BG3 is one of the few games that has actually done complex morality well. Not necessarily in the choices you can make. I think most of those are pretty cut and dry. More in, like . . . What degree of responsibility do some of the companions bear for past actions, if any? What degree of responsibility does a durge bear? What about the Absolutists under the Elder Brain's sway? When you get down into the details of the branching stories / lore, there's a lot that leaves you with something to think about.
#OOC / HOLLY.#I don't mean things that are like 'is it bad to do a wrong thing for a right reason?'#not that that isn't a good question but even in that instance the wrong thing is still the wrong thing regardless of motivation#I just mean like. how much responsibility does a person bear when they're in a situation#where they literally don't have free will / their free will can be overridden in a nanosecond#I do think BG3 is a game that questions not only the nature of evil but what evil even is#as well as the nature of good and what even is good#it doesn't necessarily answer those questions — not definitively — and I appreciate that tbh#I think the best stories leave you with something to think about#and these are questions that will never be cut and dry#that have always been debated and will always be debated#anyway. I like it. and I like that we have not only minor characters but companions and protag options#who have a wide assortment of outlooks and codes of ethics. we don't get the same people parroting the same ideals in different fonts#and you can agree with them or challenge them or simply change the topic#I like too that they often have unexpected or unpopular thoughts on a matter#you get into a rut where every media has the characters respond to something x way#sometimes BG3 plays into that and sometimes it doesn't#the decision truly seems based more on who the character is as opposed to pandering to the audience#it's a game that encourages you to think not only about creative solutions but about more complex philosophical questions#not only that it rewards you for getting creative and unorthodox and challenging what's in place#something that most games discourage if not punish or completely forbid#not that this game is perfect mind you. I can think of several things I find questionable at the minimum#but it's extremely refreshing to have a game that wants you to think rather than merely follow bait on a string

there's this like strain of take on ~human nature~ that is like "everything is so hard and bad all the time and i am miserable forever but everyone is so fantastical and lovely and i have paper-thin skin and everything hurts me because i care so much about everyone else" and i truly do not understand it. i don't think i will ever understand it. it's always very pretty and well-written and it feels like i'm reading someone talking about fucking aliens lmfao

Earlier I talked about people who don't neatly fit within a cis/nonbinary/trans paradigm. It's an expensive, sensitive topic a lot of academics and activists are already talking about. Here's an inconclusive list of people to whom this may apply:
-Lesbians with no particular affinity to womanhood beyond being lesbians
-Same but for gay men
-Same as the first two points but with a big emphasis on butch lesbians and drag queens
-Cis people who have trauma, even dysphoria, with their AGAB, but can't find another gender or label they'd like any better
-Cis people of color who are excluded from eurocentric norms of what it means to look, act, and be cisgender
-Immigrants who had different gender norms in their country or origin who no longer fit in
-Neurodivedvent people for whom gender is just another set of confusing social cues
-Nonbinary people who refer to themselves as their AGAB as shorthand in day to day interaction (similar to choosing a "Starbucks name")
-Nonbinary people who partially identify with their AGAB
-People who view their gender, not as something essential to them, but as imperfect language to refer to a complex range of expressions and experiences
-People who change labels over time but have overlying experiences that transcend these changes
-People who grew up before nonbinary identity really proliferated and still use the nomenclature theyre used to (even if they're not considered cis by contemporary standards)
-People questioning their identity
-People who don't relate to western philosophical notions of "the self."
-People for whom their gender is, well, kind of hard to explain.
Cis is still an important term when denoting power dynamics, especially on a broad sociological level. But on a personal level, this category very often falls apart. Language can only do so much. Anyway, there's a lot I still don't know but I just listened to an excellent episode of the Gender Reveal podcast with trans historian Jules Gill-Peterson where they discuss they question what it means to be cis (and how it applies to institutions vs individuals), along with so many other topics that I found fascinating. Give them a listen!

james potter is sixteen the first time he looks at regulus black and sees the most beautiful boy in the world.
he is sixteen when lily's slytherin girlfriend, pandora, leans in as she passes behind him on her way to the supply cupboard in potions and whispers, "chocolate frogs are his favorite."
he's sixteen when he spends a full day walking around hogsmeade with regulus, neither of them saying much and both of them wanting the day to continue. "this isn't a date," regulus insists. "not till i leave my parents."
and sirius said he would never do it.
james is sixteen when regulus first sends him a wink that makes his knees go weak, and he's sixteen when the smallest touch sends shocks through his spine.
"don't hurt my brother," sirius tells him through a bitten-back grin.
"don't get too attached," regulus tells him through a too-sweet smirk.
the black brothers, peter told him once, getting all philosophical as he does, they'll be the death of you. james doesn't think that'd be so bad.
james is sixteen when gryffindor loses the quidditch cup to slytherin. he runs across the field to regulus, but when he goes in for a hug, regulus pulls back, smiling.
"not yet, mon amour," he says, and it's not until marlene dumps her water bottle on his head fifteen minutes later that james fully comes to.
james is sixteen when he goes home for the summer before his seventh year and regulus squeezes his hand before he leaves the train. "soon," he says, and then he's gone. james curls into remus and prays that this means what he thinks it does.
it's a week away from his seventeenth birthday when the owl comes, bringing with it a letter in regulus's perfect scrawl reading, i did it. see you on the first. james spends the entire evening telling first an exhausted sirius and then is mum about all the dates he'll take regulus on once they're together.
james is seventeen on the first of september, and when regulus jumps into his arms, it feels like coming home.

What do they like about you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Note: remember, this is a general reading so not everything is going to resonate perfectly, I might open personal reading services later, but for now, enjoy your reading ⭐❤💞)
Pile 1:
You have such luminous skin, there's possibly an age gap between you and this person, they like your resting bitch face, and how stubborn you are, such a gloomy mood that gives off adam's family and these sorts of gothic vibes, you've got sleepy eyes that are mesmerizing, and such a hard temperament, you're hard to please in this person's eyes, you make them so overwhelmed with all the kinds of moods that you carry within you, it makes this person have a hard time understanding you, you are always trying new things and it's just too much for this person, they have no idea where you get all this energy from. It could even be that you're from a different ethnicity and this person tries to understand you better, it makes them curious about you and they like it. Even when you talk it's too hard catching up with you, you're so expansive about all the topics in your conversation, you like to discuss all kinds of different subjects, this person adores that, they see how philosophical you are. They don't understand your mind, they're having such a hard time figuring you out pile 1 😂, it's such a struggle they're trying so hard, but they like it, the fact that you are bigger than the sun itself, how much you can overwhelm them and they get so burned out by your energy(I don't mean it in a negative way), the fact that you're not a force to be wreckend with. They just feel like you're too much for them to handle. You're most likely either a fire or an air sign. They mainly like your mood states , your emotional and temperamental center, it's so dramatic and entertaining. Your effect is just fatal on them, you're even making them have physical reactions upon how charged up they get around you, the reason for that could be that you have expansive energetic field, some of you could also have bigger and more curvier bodies. An additional message that I'm getting is that you get influenced by the moon cycles, you possibly get more energetic and lively that normal at night.
Pile 2:
You are very graceful in the way you talk, you may be sending blessings to people around you constantly and praying for others. They like your beauty, they find you to be just 'pretty'. They also like how wise you are, if you wear dresses this person likes seeing them on you, you are maybe on the shorter side and they find your height to be cute. Earth signs. They like how courageous you are, you can be so calm and steady when facing adversities and they find this so strong from you, you are the type of person that has a silent strength to them. You are so solid , so sure of yourself that it's hard to shake you. You always have the right sense of what to do. They like your smell, if you wear some kind of perfume they really like the smell of it. You could always be scoring the highest grades at any work you do, you're always so productive, and if you like cooking, you make the best food ever. This person sees you as self-reliant and self-sufficient, someone that doesn't like wasting much time on nonesense, and a person that keeps to themselves, and again, that makes them see you as very smart and wise.
Pile 3:
They like how sensitive you are to the environment around you, and how overly critical you are of everything, you might like crime movies that awaken your investigator side, to find clues and solve riddles. If you have green eyes specifically they like them, also how you put on your makeup. You're unapologetic in everything you do, you do whatever you want to do anyways, they're fascinated by that, it's like, you give the sense that you are elusive about what you want to do, especially the way you act about things, but you surprise them with the results, you may seem like you're just playing around at first impression but then this person gets impressed by the things you can achieve. You don't ask much from people. You're very unpredictable to this person, they think that you're a lucky and special person, unlike anyone else they've ever known.
Pile 4:
You're older than this person, or they like your maturity. They like how friendly you are, you give off this sense of familiarity to them and they feel welcomed and well treated in your presence and they respect you for that. You have an inspirational impact on this person, they take your words to heart, and they resonate with them, they give them space for creative pursuits and create space for new ideas in their mentality. If this person felt misunderstood and lost in the past you give them a new vision, a better one. The color black and gothic type of clothing fits you in their view, they think you're aloof and eccentric, you have a sharp mind but your ideas for them-they have a hard time organizing every thought proposed by you according to the actual situation, your thinking is superior for them.

Omggg I love the fic of drunk reader kissing Spencer, could you write a second part to that? Maybe he takes reader home and she asks him to stay over and she wakes up all giggly and embarrassed (even tho she doesn’t regret it) after seeing his face stained w the lipstick? Thank you🥰
part 1
--
Spencer wakes up to the distinct feel of something wet and slimy on his face, two sensations that he's not prepared for or happy with.
He blinks his eyes open and you're hovering above him, one of his cheeks cupped in your hand while you smear a makeup wipe over his forehead.
"Oh, Spence," You fret, "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to wake you up, I thought you'd be tired enough to sleep through it."
Spencer's such a light sleeper that a gentle breeze could wake him. But he's not going to tell you that; he doesn't even think that he can. The feeling of his face held so delicately in your hand while you tend to his rather messy skin is something that's managing to short circuit his typically agile brain, and all he can do is watch as you wipe away your lipstick from the night prior.
"I got you good," You muse, tone cautiously amused. He manages a bashful smile and nod, and you target a kiss mark beside his left eye now.
"I was really drunk," You laugh bashfully, "Sorry, Spence. I- uh, I saw the picture Hotch took, he sent it to our group chat. I'm sure you didn't want me crawling all over you. I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable.
"No," Spencer isn't good at speaking right now, but he knows he has to, "No, don't worry about it. Everyone's more wild when they're drunk."
"Except for Rossi," You reason, smudging away the final mark on his chin now, "He just gets philosophical."
Spencer sits up from where he'd been reclined on your couch, and there's an ache in his back. It was worth it though, and he hopes you don't apologize for him having to sleep on the couch.
"I'm sorry you had to sleep on the couch," You lament like clockwork.
"It's okay," Spencer insists, straightening his spine and hearing a slight pop, "I don't mind, really. I wouldn't have wanted to leave you here alone."
"In my own apartment?" You quirk a brow at him.
"I wanted to make sure you didn't throw up in your sleep," Spencer nods, "Because people can choke and die that way."
You look mildly alarmed, and Spencer thinks he needs to work on his flirting skills.
"But- uh, you didn't. Which is great." He smiles, lips pulled into a slightly curved line, and you mirror the expression.
"Great," You echo, "Do you want breakfast?"
"Uh- sure." Spencer nods, rising from the couch, "I can help make it-?"
"No, no," You rush back to him from where you'd been heading towards the kitchen, pushing at his shoulders until he falls back down onto the couch, "Just stay there, Spencer. You helped me a ton last night, I owe you one. Okay?"
He disagrees; you could never owe him anything. He'd give his all to you with no expectation in return. But he nods to appease you, "Okay."
"Okay." You repeat with a smile, and hesitantly, you lean in to kiss his now-clean cheek.
"No lipstick this time," You grin bashfully as you pull back, but his face is tinged so red that you think you're mistaken for a moment, "Thanks, Spence."

𝐃𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐘𝐒𝐔𝐒 (𝟑𝟔𝟕𝟏)
𝐼𝑛𝑑𝑢𝑙𝑔𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑜𝑥𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛
Dionysus is the Greek god of wine and festivities and has the power of driving mortals insane. In my opinions, wherever this asteroid is in your chart can show how you are when intoxicated/drunk

Tumblr media
𐃯 1st: Loud and the life of the party, want all eyes on you, may become the centre of attention, may start getting into drinking competitions at parties, may become a little annoying to some people because they can become a little egotistical and start bragging about themselves, they also love talking about themselves when drunk.
𐃯 2nd: Possessive, they may become a little passive and isolate themselves in a corner, there's a tendency that they can get a little sleepy or tired as well. May not want to socialise at all and may want to leave the party early or if they're alone, will call it a day and do the irish goodbye, could also end up accidentally buying things (me lol).
𐃯 3rd: My cousin has this placement and she gets so chatty when she's intoxicated, she will go on long never ending rants about any topic under the sun. May get really giggly and flirty, at times may even gossip quite a bit about others, love meeting new people and socialising especially at parties.
𐃯 4th: Can get a little scattered and get very emotional, a little bit of a crier and all their emotions get amplified, big laughs, big cries, just feel everything all at once. You can become very appreciative of your friends and can become a little lovey-dovey as well as clingy.
𐃯 5th: So much fun, larger than life energy, they kind of become the host, will talk to everyone, mingle, the type to be in the middle of a dance circle and absolutely kill it. May become dramatic but it's humorous and playful, may also talk/think about their plans for their future in regards to their family life when intoxicated.
𐃯 6th: Can become a little cranky and irritable over small things, can feel uncomfortable so they may not drink or indulge in general, the type to be the mom friend even and may like taking care of others even when they need to more, helpful, compliments flow easier but they can also become a little candid with their speech (a little mean).
𐃯 7th: My friend has this and they do start thinking about their past relationships and ranting about their exes, also the kind to dial their exes but overall so much fun, they love to tease others, and can get really creative when intoxicated, especially when it comes to aesthetics. Also make friends so easily holy shit it's insane, need to teach me how!
𐃯 8th: May like playing games related to gambling to be honest, they'll not be very different from how they usually are and may have a high tolerance, seem calm and composed, can make impulsive monetary decisions as well. Can come off as a bit intense when drunk, emotionally like in a good way they may make big emotional decisions too like telling someone they love them romantically.
𐃯 9th: They start talking about life and existence and very philosophical topics, I've met some people with this sign who get really political and at times get kind of pushy about their views and opinions. Fun to talk to if you want to know their opinions on life and what it means, can get sleepy quite fast frankly speaking.
𐃯 10th: Emotional, can become a little demanding and authoritative, ordering people around low-key. Can be kind of a party pooper because I see 10th house Dionysus as people who can get a little angry/aggressive when drunk and also a little selfish, for example if they're at a party with their friends they won't let them talk to other people or something along those lines.
𐃯 11th: Honestly my personal faves, they're so creative and the ideas they have are brilliant, they would probably love talking about stuff related to the science fiction or fiction in general. They get extremely social and are the type of people who would get a lot of numbers if they want, would also make a lot of new friends, they may get cold easily when drunk/intoxicated too.
𐃯 12th: Get kind of lost in their own world, they unintentionally ignore people because of how consumed they are with their own thoughts, can get really silent and passive, and may get very distracted and sort of unaware of their surroundings, bumping into things unintentionally and stuff like that, maybe daydreaming a lot.

The people just don't seem to care about how Caligula keeps beginning new construction projects with public funds. People are homeless and starving and he puts up a new theater in the middle of the city as if we need that.
Now he's claiming to be a god?? Plus there's rumors he has sex with his horse.
It's very important that you contact the members of the senate to let them know the people are ready to rise up if they don't depose Caligula. We should get organized and flood the streets.

I'm not one to harsh on a small business trying to make it but I've been to this shop and women are an afterthought here. You'd think the only people interested in dildos were men the way they act here.

Women should be weaving and taking care of their children, not coming into our sex shop.

Midnight Pals: Frankensexy
Guillermo del Toro: Submitted for the approval of the midnight society, I call this the tale of frankenstein del Toro: but this time del Toro: there's a little twist del Toro: the twist is that frankenstein is hot
del Toro: see, what if it starred Andrew Garfield and Oscar Isaac? Mary Shelley: which one is frankenstein? del Toro: doesn't matter, they're both pretty fuckable Shelley: Shelley: yeah that's right
Bram Stoker: are we back on this fuckable frankenstein kick? this is just awful Stoker: you're destroying the essence of the story! Stoker: frankenstein can't be hot Stoker: he's SUPPOSED to represent the hubris of man's folly! Mary Shelley: shut the fuck up bram
del Toro: and we're getting mia goth to be in it too Bram Stoker: and who's she playing? del Toro: del Toro: uhhhh del Toro: igor?
Mary Shelley: igor's not in the fuckin book Stephen King: are you sure about that, mary? i mean i've seen frankenstein and i'm pretty sure there was an igor Shelley: that was the MOVIE steve Shelley: and also igor wasn't in that either!! Shelley: jesus christ you guys
King: whoa whoa whoa mary King: are you saying that igor wasn't in the frankenstein book OR the frankenstein movie? Shelley: that's right King: well then King: where's he from? Barker: that's some real mandela effect shit Shelley: NO IT'S NOT
King: ok but where's igor from then? Shelley: how the hell should i know? probably from one of those fuckin idk flintstones meets frankenstein shit specials or something King: c'mon mary that's just silly King: also it would be frankenSTONE Shelley: what
Shelley: fine! put an igor in! I don't fuckin care Shelley: do whatever you fuckin want with your fuckin femme igor that Shelley: femme igor Shelley: wait Shelley: wait a second actually this idea slaps
del Toro: anyway back to my del Toro: [waggles eyebrows] cabinet of curiosities!
del Toro: watch, i'm going to introduce every episode the cabinet of curiosities with a pithy philosophical monologue del Toro: like if i was the giant flying liquid metal skull at the beginning of skeleton warriors Barker: pft you can try man but you're no tony jay
del Toro: light del Toro: dark del Toro: the two sides of the same coin battling for the hearts of mens souls del Toro: but what of those in the middle? del Toro: which way del Toro: will they turn?   [dramatic pause] King: just gives ya chills doesn't it? Barker: not really
