oh no offense taken!! i think i get it!!

i feel that most things added after the 4th scream fortress kind of drops off in quality. having skeletons added, i thought they were super neat when they were first introduced, but i'm kind of indifferent to them now.

they feel underwhelming when compared to the previous three years, with the HHH, Monoculus and Merasmus being NPC bosses that you had to work together to kill, each with their own specific quirks. the skeletons combined with the spellbooks... i don't feel can stack up against their predecessors. doesn't help i guess that killing them doesn't reward you with anything either.

#ask #moenochore #i think a lot of it anything that came after MVM kind of just... didnt ammount to what came before it yknow? like in general #and a lot of that definitely comes from the main TF Team (from 2006-2012) stepped away to go to other projects #which also explains why they started bringing in community made updates like robotic boogaloo and such #im a tf2 history nut so. dont mind me if i start complaining about other stuff (like the jungle theme for maps)#its really hard to pinpoint the exact moment the original TF Team left but. you can kind of see where it started #somewhere between MVM and the Mecha Update #and ofc i dont mean that everything that came out after MVM was bad. just that something felt missing i guess #but the jungle theme. i'll try to keep my thoughts on it short but.#it feels so weird to see them add a map artstyle to the game that. represents what 2007 TF2 was trying to avoid #i.e. all the muddled brown and green visuals of every other game at the time #anyway thank you for your ask :)#im sending skeletons to your house btw. nothing personal ofc 🤗✨

Almost every Joker character (character with a hidden skill) has their skill based on an existing skill. Some just exist on that Joker skill, not as a regular skill. I usually explain new Jokers' skills by saying the name of the existing skill rather than explain what the skill does, since it's easier to say the name of the skill. :)

Kaby: What is Uncharted Road?

Uncharted Road is one of those high mysteriosity dungeons that, normally, you only enter while going through other mystery dungeons. You go through a few floors of Uncharted Road, and then return back to whatever dungeon you were in the middle of.

...which, makes this weird, if this is Uncharted Road, because it has spawned as its own dungeon.

Maybe it has become strong enough to become its own dungeon...? I hope not, honestly. An actual dungeon in Paradise would still be really bad...

Yeah... hopefully this is some sort of odd fluke.

#dbd #thoughts about media #ONLY during deep wound? like good bye. most survivors aren't going to bother and will prioritise perks that are more simple and reliable.#this is going to stop a lot of survivors from just relying on this perk- and not any of their own skill- to loop killers forever.#super happy about the garden of joy and red forest changes incoming too.#I could handle red forest just fine with my two mains- ghostface & hux.#but there are some other killers who do not stand a chance on that map because of the sheer size of it.#and the garden of joy is...well it's one of the most poorly laid out maps in the game imo.#that main building window is a fucking ATROCITY.#even hux with rapid brutality & soma family photo struggles to catch up to a survivor looping that fucking stupid window.#and it's not like you can just ensure you ONLY get that map when you're doctor- who doesn't give a fuck about that window.#also very exciting to see trickster is getting a buff. I fear it may be a Little too much but we'll have to see.#I do like trickster because I LOVE awful men but he's SO painful to play with the state he's in on live servers.#and like why would I subject myself to playing a killer whose power barely does anything as opposed to other. better. killers?#ghostface and hux aren't even remotely close to OP but they still get consistent and reliable use of their powers.#even if some fuckhead follows you around to reveal you. you can shroud in chase to hide your stain momentarily and mindgame.#and hux's depleted oxygen tank add-on shuts down exhaustion perk usage when a survivor may most need it. even if they get EMP'd.#hopefully updated trickster will join the pool of killers I regularly play.#so unfair that I can't play him and doctor and equal amount. they are married to me.

and thats all 3 classic shapes redone :) ill have pics shortly but there's not much to see, if i do my job right (which by my standards, i am, so far) then they'll look almost identical to the originals. the mesh is just cleaner. thats all. this is a very pointless revamp unless you are me and can see the wonky parts of the mesh. sometimes they shade weird. hopefully that wont happen anymore.

#but they will also be uv mapped better for patterned skins #AND theyll be more compact in cas #so theyll still be worth updating even if you cant notice #and like i said‚ there might end up being new varieties.#especially the dragon. i would love to add more lengths.#it was such a bitch to make that shape the old way.#it will be the easiest one this time i think.#i mean. weighting it will still be a bitch.#but once i got that i GOT that yknow.#simoleon

i have severely underestimated how godawful this web program is. send help. i have been attempting to created my own layers for....a few hours now. why is it so unintuitive!!!!!!

as for the why. i want pretty map to stick in a report i'll probably have to give :(

the secondary why is that i dont really have any other things that i have to today, so this is keeping me occupied. my workload sort of changes depending on the time of year and this is the Slow Season for sure

Free Safer Supplies:

Each organization will have different supplies, but generally, harm reduction orgs provide things like syringes, safer snorting + smoking kits, Narcan, condoms, lube, and wound care supplies. Each org has different policies for how to get supplies--some do deliveries, some have drop in centers, some only do one to one needle exchange, some are more flexible.

Next Distro: mail based syringe provider for certain states. Also mails free Narcan.

NASEN: national map of syringe providers

a lot of harm reduction collectives aren't going to have their information listed on big national websites--it's always worth searching "harm reduction in my area" and seeing what's around you. Even if you don't live in a big city, there might be a harm reduction organization in your state that can help you find someone closer to you. there's a lot of rad people doing underground work who want to be there to help you who aren't as easy to find online. If there's street medic collectives, mutual aid groups or groups like Food not Bombs in your area, you can ask people in them who might know where to find harm reduction services in your area!

Drug Users Unions:

Drug users unions are activist groups made for people who use drugs, by people who use drugs! Drug users unions do advocacy work to end criminalization, as well as providing vital community support. Many drug users unions are also inclusive of sex workers and work to decriminalize sex work as well. You can search for "drug users union" in your state.

u guys have no idea how stardust and dust and the entire fox society has been rotating in my brain for the last 4 years. it started as “i want to create a story i can devote a lot of time and effort to that i can be proud of that stands on its own” like i have a lot of pokemon and warriors stories i also want to tell but im very aware the fact that pokemon is owned by nintendo and warrior cats is owned by. harper collins? the collective “erin hunter” that is like 12 different people these days? and is not just available for everyone will end up being a roadblock. its “ive read bcb for years and i love the story and the characters and how real they are and if i can create a story and characters HALF as compelling and wonderful as bcb then ill know ive done something right” its “i want this to be MY omnibus, no matter how long it takes” but also having to get it through my head that it will take infinite time if i never make any progress

i just want to tell a story about foxes, and the importance of maintaining an ecosystem, and found family, and fixing ancient wrongs, and a little stargazing

#most of it remains in my head or in shitty map sketches or in buried google docs #but as long as the foundation is still there i can build on it. i dont need to tear it down just because its been a while #i havent even considered where im going to post comic pages #and lets be really honest the only way i could maintain an update schedule is by having ALL of it done first #ive redrawn the first page of the prologue like 3 times now??#and the prologue hasnt changed. its good as it is. but i keep redoing it #part of me feels like i have to make sure every page is PERFECT before i can feel right showing it to anyone #but again i need to look to bcb #the differing art styles over the years dont take away from the story at all #it just adds to it! and you can really see the improvement and growth over the years #idk i dont have a direction here im just spewing out thoughts ive had for a while now
