The Naga-Maya Civilized the Egyptians
The Naga-Maya civilized the Egyptians is a necessary post to prove to Pan-Africans that it is not all about Africa. Hopefully, this post will help Pan-Africans to realize that the people that they love and worship as Egyptians learnt their science, tech, and way of life from the Naga-Maya of the Americas. In this post are some similarities between the Naga-Maya (Mayans) and the Egyptians. Who is…

I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with so much Iranian hate and drama <:[
oh anon. hate to break it to you (a lot of people make this mistake) but iran and iraq are two entirely separate nations.
Tumblr media
and also i think reducing it to the words "hate and drama" kind of doesn't cover it, anon.
#i think if people were. just a little bit more informed. then maybe people would see that the people from this region are humans actually.#so anon. please. like... look at a map and do some reading maybe. if you care just a little.#i'm sorry anon but i'm a little bit at a loss for words over this message. like it rendered me speechless for a little.#but it's so common in my life that i've been called iranian and i constantly have to correct people on it. c'mon man.#i mean i have SO many iranian friends even though iraq and iran you know. aren't exactly bedfellows. politically.#but those politics don't really follow me. like in my day to day. iraqis and iranians in the uk of this generation. are again.#pretty divorced.#but it's kind of really frustrating that people Without Fail make this mistake over and over.#it's like how people just refer to “africa” as a whole. instead of recognising there are seperate nations there and.#it's not just a homogenous “other”#please. there are humans there. it's not just “foreign”.#i don't know if you're american anon but i see it a lot that anything outside of america is just “foreign”#and i mean#even as a brit. americans are constantly surprised i'm british because they forget anything exists outside of america.#i think it would be so so so so sexy of you anon to take a look at the globe tonight. give it a spin.#look at the world. it's so full and so beautiful and there are So Many Nations.#i'm going to look at my globe tonight too. i have a really cool old one. it spins so good.#and i'm going to pick some countries i don't know a lot about and do some reading about them. for funsies.

If it'd been Alfred instead of Matt hurting in the medical wing, would Arthur have done anything differently? Would he be more willing to comfort him? It seems theres a divide where Alfred and Arthur have a more tumultuous relationship but at the same time a more familial one while Matthew and Arthur are more stable but more formal and distant to one another.
You said it better than i could have ever! At some points Arthur cannot handle Matthews hurt , whereas if Alfred is in that situation it's wholeheartedly difderent for Arthur. Lets just say Alfred is in this situation staring at the wall with a blank explession, having lost his vision and being utterly defeated mentally. It's not something Arthur has seen from the boy in a long time. Arthur is used to seeing his boy carry an air of confidence and undefeatedness in the harshest of times. Alfred knows what to do at any point. At least he does in Arthurs mind. If Alfred is this defeated state, it's red alarms in Arthurs mind. "Alfred will do something drastic when he comes to." And "This is not normal!" Is the only thing in his fathers mind. Whereas when Matt is at deaths front door emotionaly, it's not something Arthur hasn't seen before. Besides, it's a difference of how Arthur sees his sons. "Matt has always been quiet and resilient. I cannot fix it. Alfred though, has always been loud and always heard. This is terrifying. I MUST fix it." As sad as it is, it's a different kind of love. Alfred will get it and Matt will have to assume it's there.

BOTD: Northern Wheatear
Tumblr media
Photo: Allan Drewitt
"On fall weekends in the northeast, birders sometimes hope (but never expect) to find a Wheatear. This small chat enters the North American arctic from both directions, via both Greenland and Alaska, but almost all go back to the Old World in winter; only the occasional straggler appears south of Canada. Northern Wheatears can be found in summer on rocky tundra, where they are inconspicuous until they fly, flashing their tail pattern. In the Old World there are almost 20 species of wheatears, most of them in desert regions."

how it usually goes:
america commits war crimes -> the government has time to lie about them and tries to spin the narrative -> people (mostly) believe them
what is happening now:
america commits war crimes -> they are livestreamed on social media and everyone sees the war crimes -> the government doesn't have the time but lies anyway and tries to spin the narrative -> people don't fucking believe them
this is why bibi and bidens propaganda machine isn't working, and why they're trying so hard to silence journalists. also, when people realize how much they're lying about this they realise how much they're lying about everything else. in short - they are fucked and they are scrambling.

Who Shall Abide in God’s Sanctuary?
A Psalm of David.
1 O Lord, who may abide in your tent? Who may dwell on your holy hill?
2 Those who walk blamelessly and do what is right and speak the truth from their heart; 3 who do not slander with their tongue and do no evil to their friends nor heap shame upon their neighbors; 4 in whose eyes the wicked are despised but who honor those who fear the Lord; who stand by their oath even to their hurt; 5 who do not lend money at interest and do not take a bribe against the innocent.
Those who do these things shall never be moved. — Psalm 15 | New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition (NRSVUE) New Revised Standard Version, Updated Edition. "Biden is the best choice and he's actually really empathetic and reasonable but also you can't wait for a candidate that won't do genocide and war crimes because to become a presidential candidate you have to be willing to do that" see what you fundamentally don't understand is I'm not waiting for a candidate that won't do war crimes, because I know that. I cannot morally stomach this system, it's a joke to claim its democratic, and AMERICA DELENDA EST. this country is a plague on this Earth
#cipher talk#It's baffling because okay so you know how fucked up this is but you're behaving in a way that clearly indicates you want that this shambli#Disgusting empire to cling to life until after you're dead because it'd make /you/ uncomfortable and inconvenienced#To live through its destruction (the wealthier classes and more privileged experience lesser material changes in state collapse so long as#They aren't too highly ranked/involved in politics. A Sri Lankan wrote an article specifically addressing Americans about this)#It's so dehumanizing! People's blood is so cheap to you! You've just accepted its inevitable that genocide will happen!#Because of how the US operates! You can see no other future! It hardly matters to you!#You say this like the death of Palestinians of Yemenis of Syrians is someone else's dropped ice cream cone#You understand why people hate this country and you understand we deserve it but it just. Hardly matters to you#It feels like madness to watch this. It's disgusting#I keep thinking- it'd be so easy for you to justify my people being killed if violence broke out and it was in your favor#It's unlikely because. Well. America loves 'the church of the martyrs'#But you'd do it if that was favorable. You wouldn't think twice. You might feel a twinge in your heart but that's all#Because we aren't people to you!#We aren't all that important! Not important enough for you do anything more than 'well let's vote a blue in and do some protests'#What's a protest worth if you perpetuate the system and can't see a way out and don't try for a way out?#That's killing a man then putting flowers on his casket. It's /perverse/.#You get used to the idea that Africans die that West Asians die and that's just the way of the world. My g-d do you understand anything??#I watch necrosis take hold my parts of my culture and I watch every good person I know be ground to dust under a military regime#I talk to my friend who got drafted and is trans and may never come out because if they do they can get arrested as a 'prostitute'#I watch the wild hope for the future I was introduced to over radio at 9 years old wither#I watch people risk it anyway because just past the fence they can see they know there are people there#I watch my neighbor to the south crumble and weep because our hands are bloody and it's in part because we bloodied them for the west#And you just think that's how things are.#Fascist white death cult mindset

When Hope Goddard Iselin became the first woman to sail in the America’s Cup, on board Defender in 1895, her role was defined as part-photographer, part-timekeeper, part-peacemaker.
Strategically positioned between the crew doing the grunt work and the afterguard making decisions, the 27-year-old American socialite was a skilled, cool-headed sailor in her own right. Yet newspapers of the time called her “the mascot”; the good-luck charm on board two winning America’s Cup yachts.
What would Goddard Iselin think today – almost 130 years later – seeing women sail in their own America’s Cup regatta? Taking one serious step closer to crewing with their male counterparts for the world’s oldest sports trophy?
Maybe she’d say: ‘What took you so long?’
