when i said i don't think mike is getting max's storyline next season i was being very literal just like i was when i said mike isn't getting will's storyline. i meant that regardless of what he's dealing with i don't think mike is gonna be tormented by vecna like max was and i don't think he's gonna be kidnapped by vecna/be revealed to have been possessed by vecna like will was either. which doesn't mean i don't think he can be gay (like will) or have suicidal tendencies (like max)
#like having ONE THING in common is just not crazy#anyway there's a little possessiongate hate for you#mike can't get vecna'd like max was anyway because the gates are open but do you know what i mean#this actually just means that i don't see mike being crazy connected to the supernatural the way characters like will and el obviously#always have been or even just the way max was in s4 but yk i might be wrong about that who knows. actually not about the el and will one#i actually have not said that (about mike getting max's storyline). i however have answered an ask that said that: in march#i don't think discussions of him being suicidal take more away from max than discussions of him being gay take away from will#and him being gay doesn't take anything from will. and him knowing that he's gay is still not stealing will's storyline lol#now of course there's people who do too much with the mike/max similarities just like when people say mike was bullied for being gay when#like that's literally will. you're thinking of will. but yeah#mike and max's circumstances are still very different but like. it's not like having a billy around and being poor is required to be#suicidal and i don't even think he's like. okay i was gonna say something insensitive. anyway their situations are still different but#people saying that he might also be suicidal isn't a copy paste of max's storyline that's literally only one thing about max#it was very hard for me to not write max instead of mike or mike instead of max#i'll be picking this up again in another three months#and like i say: brf slt

stealing is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairings: security guard! mike schmidt x shoplifter! reader
warnings: shoplifting, getting caught stealing, being in a cell, oral (m! receiving), forced stripping, mockery.
a/n: i thought mall jail was real when i was younger but it ISNT i hope this makes sense to y’all 💋
Tumblr media
♡ the mall is filled with clothes, makeup, food, and toys. all of your favorite things in one place! it also had fun activities like massage chairs, smelling candles, and stealing!!
♡ you scanned the store, licking a cherry flavored dum dum, positioning your body so only you could see what you were doing. you snuck in a pair of earrings into your purse and a bracelet.
♡ you continued to the clothing racks, picking out multiple tops and hiding one within one. the sweet lady handed you a door sign with the number 3, not knowing you actually had 6. you entered the changing room and took off your baggy hoodie. taking off the tags before layering the tops on yourself, then putting your hoodie back on.
♡ you made sure to buy a necklace, sucking the candy as you happily made your way to the exit. it was a nice haul for one store, you were excited to go to another store before the alarm went off.
♡ “excuse me, ma’am. i’m going to have to check your receipt.” the security guard said. his tired eyes looking down at you, flickering his eyes to your purse and back to you. he held his hand out, furrowing his eyebrows.
♡ you exit the lollipop out of your mouth with a pop, “mhm, of course!” you place the receipt on his calloused, big hands as you make eye contact with him, smiling sweetly.
♡ he checked the receipt and opened your shopping bag with his other hand. his hand exited before digging into your purse abruptly, “what a shame that you forgot to close your purse.”
♡ you look at his name tag before looking up at him with pleading eyes, “mike, you can let this slide, right?”
♡ “depends, is this your first time?”
♡ “mhm, yes it is, sir..” you bit your lip.
♡ “what a fucking liar.” he gripped your arm tightly, leading you to mall’s cells.
♡ you wrapped your hands around his arm, trying to pull him off. “c’mon, please, mike?” batting your eyelashes as you look up at him, but he ignored you.
♡ the room was small with one cell, a telephone, and a desk. he kept his grip tight, throwing you into a cell. he locked it, taking the chair out from under the desk, facing it so he can watch you.
♡ “you really think these people are this stupid, huh?” he ran his hands through his brown curls, a frustrated sigh leaving his pretty lips.
♡ you were on the ground, crawled up in the corner. your ass ached from the throw, you knew it was going to bruise. you teared up as your lip quivered, “n-no..”
♡ “of course you do! shielding your hands from the cameras?” he takes out his walkie talkie. “you see this? every time they see you, the dumb slut, they tell us to keep a close eye on her.”
♡ “d-dumb slut..?” you questioned, tears rolling down your cheek.
♡ “look at the way you dress, how you act, the way you look-“ he paused, scanning your body. “that hoodie is new though.”
♡ he was right. the hoodie was new, something you would never be caught dead wearing.
♡ “take it off.”
♡ “wh- no!” you blurted out between sobs.
♡ “what’s wrong? not wearing a bra? that’s not a problem because everyone’s seen your tits, dumb slut.” he hissed through his teeth.
♡ “fuck yo-“
♡ “i’ll call the cops. is that what you want, hm?”
♡ “n-no! fine. i’ll do it!” you took off the hoodie, your mascara running down your cheeks as you looked at him.
♡ “was wondering where you put those tops..” he grins. “sensitive, slutty, and somewhat smart?” he chuckles, man spreading, his bulge showing through his slacks.
♡ even through your sobs, your face scrunches up in disgust. eyeing his huge- you mean, gross bulge.
♡ he smirks, “wanna help me? it’s the least you could, making me work extra hard just so you could look slutty..”
♡ “fuck no.” you say, covering yourself with your hoodie.
♡ he glides his hand on the telephone, “a simple 911 call..” he jokingly presses the phone against his ear, twirling the wire, mocking you by batting his eyelashes, “e-excuse me, sir!” he let out a breathy laugh, remembering your pleas. “this young lady h-has been… been stealing!” he forces the stuttering, pouting, and out right mocking you.
♡ “just let me go! please!”
♡ god, hearing you beg made his cock harder. he pressed on one of the buttons, “nine.”
♡ “stop!” you screamed, hurriedly taking off two of the tops, leaving you in a white tank top with no bra.
♡ “that’s the slut i know..” he scanned your body, your nipples hardened from the cold air, the perky buds in view, your tight shorts, making your thighs look extra plump, and the straps of your thong showing. the combination of your body, ruined makeup, red tongue from your treat made him need to palm his bulge through his pants.
♡ you shuddered at the sight, no no no… you felt your wetness leaking from your lips, onto your underwear. “t-this is illegal.. keeping me here t-to take advantage of me..” you warned him, but you fucking loved it.
♡ “strip searches are legal.” he spat out. “now strip.”
♡ you pouted as you unbuttoned your shorts.
♡ “turn around.” he ordered
♡ you turn around, bending down as you slid off your shorts. you could hear him groan at the sight of you, your pussy barely hidden from how soaked your thong was. you smile to yourself, pulling down your thong slowly. a string connecting your cunt to the fabric, the string getting longer the further you pull them down.
♡ when you meet his gaze again, his cock is out. twitching as his pre cum leaked down his beautiful pink tip to his unshaven base. “hmm, now your top.” he groans.
♡ you noticed the more you resisted, the more his cock ached. “please don’t make me.” you whimpered out as you tilted your head to the side, a chill running up your spine as you watched his cock leak even more.
♡ he pressed another button, “one.”
♡ you forced more tears down your cheek as you pulled off your top, your clothes lying beside you. he slid the keys to you, grinning as he watched you snatch it from the ground. you reach out from the bars and unlocked your cell, dropping on your knees in front of him.
♡ he runs his hand through your hair, gripping it as you lick from the base to the tip of his cock. he looks down at you, smirking, as you look up at him with your messy eyeliner and mascara running down. “poor baby, hadn’t had cock in hours. so desperate for a dribble of cum, hm?”
♡ “mhm..” drips oozes out of your pussy onto the tiles, you whine as you swirl your tongue around his cock. sending vibrations down his cock, swallowing the salty, sticky fluid. as you entered more of him inside, he forced the rest deep inside your throat.
♡ “your throat feels so nice, baby..” his head is pulled back, groaning at the sound of your gags, not daring to look at your messy face cause he knows he’ll cum at the sight. “bet you’re happy that you got caught, hm?”
♡ you slide him off your mouth with a pop for a moment, stroking him as you talk, “yes, yes… m’ so happy..” you immediately continue to deepthroat his cock, feeling it twitch as you hallow your cheeks.
♡ “i’ll call the cops if you don’t swallow every fucking drop.” he orders before cumming down your throat. his load was too big, dripping down his cock and your chin. “all. of. it.” he looks down at your fucked up face.
♡ “yes, sir..” swiping your finger to slide the excess cum into your mouth. looking into his hooded eyes with a sultry look before entering one of his sacks his mouth.
♡ despite just cumming in your mouth, his cock still hard. watching you as you suck his most sensitive place, his cock twitching, “of course you’re fucking experienced.”
♡ you giggle, “i would’ve drank it all regardless, mikey..”
♡ he grins, “you can keep your shit. next time i won’t be so nice, though.”
♡ “thank you, sir. :3”

Together. / Mike Schimdt
Tumblr media
Authors Note : So I just happened to watch the FNAF movie and my god it was so good, with a hint of good Lore in it. Also the cast was perfect and ever since watching it, I had a thought of writing a quick one shot for Mike and Y/N. Where Y/N suffers from hallucination and has the same symptoms but a different kind of illness than Abby's. Suggesting that they see also the kids but also the man who's being everything, not only controlling them and their life styles, resulting in a lack of sleep pattern and tons of trauma.
Enjoy!
Ps : Pls don't repost or copy and paste my works. Everything is written by me, and also note that English isn't my first mother language, so I apologize in advance if there is any grammar errors. I tried my very best.
------------
From one call to another, Mike encountered an unending stream of repetitive "nos" and polite rejections for the position he sought. It dawned on him that he might be the source of the issue, especially after the peculiar "incident" that may have left a stranger somewhat shaken. A few days post-dismissal, someone finally directed him to visit the office of Steve Raglan, a man he had never met before. Today presented the perfect opportunity. Mr. Raglan fit the mold of a man from a bygone era, with his distinctive round glasses and traditional attire. Michael's growing apprehension made him wonder if venturing into this place had been a poor decision all along.
A hushed pause enveloped the room as Mr. Raglan perused Mike's professional background with casual interest. "Well, Mike..." He paused in the midst of his sentence, stealing a quick, appraising glance in his direction. Mike responded nonchalantly. "Yes?" His voice, however, lacked the self-assuredness he longed to convey.
"Care for some coffee?" Steve's inquiry was succinct yet brimming with anticipation as he strolled toward his coffee machine. Mike hesitated, then replied, "Um... No, thank you. I'd rather get this done quick." Deep down, Mike yearned for a stable job, one that would enable him to look after his sister, Abby, and perhaps even sway their aunt to grant them custody.
Steve sensed the growing impatience in his client, who was eager to learn what the future had in store. "You know," Steve remarked, returning to his chair, his voice now tinged with excitement – a side effect, Mike presumed, of his coffee intake. "I recognize this place. It's a place where someone like you would give anything for the job..." A spark of curiosity ignited within Mike as he leaned closer to Mr. Reglan, raising an intrigued brow. "And," Mike inquired. "what makes this place so special?" Steve paused briefly, carefully choosing his words. "Well, you see..."
Mike found himself utterly perplexed by the revelation before him. The location had not only been abandoned since the '80s but also, the job requirements were far from aligning with his original intentions. The compensation was dismal, and he couldn't help but suspect that perhaps none of the previous security guards had been paid properly either. Or not paid at all. It involved a shift he had no expertise in and had no intention of pursuing, particularly after having to bail on his babysitter to bring Abby with him. It was an unequivocal "No." He declared firmly, convinced that this man was even more cynical than he was.
"Are you absolutely certain? Your resume suggests you're more than capable for the position." Mr. Raglan made one final attempt to persuade, his features softening subtly from their earlier rigidity. However, Mike shook his head once more, resolute in his decision. He muttered briefly about the job being the primary source of his conflict, preventing him from seeing Abby or ensuring she had a decent meal, not to mention avoiding losing custody to his aunt. With determination, he rose from his chair, ready to leave the office. Just as Mike was about to exit, Steve handed him his business card, his demeanor marked by a slight pout, swiftly followed by a confident smile. "Just in case, take this," he suggested. Mike, though hesitating for a moment, accepted the card out of politeness and left the office without a word.
After his meeting with Mr. Raglan, Mike's quest for the ideal job seemed to come to an unfortunate conclusion. None of the places he had contacted before his appointment with the advisor, and none since, had offered him any promising prospects. He was beginning to contemplate that maybe accepting the night shift at this particular place was the most feasible option for now. If nothing else, it would provide him with a source of income, and the busy night hours might keep his mind occupied. What enticed him even more was the prospect of being his own boss, with no co-workers to influence his ever-present paranoia. This thought made him more determined than ever to give it a try.
On that very same day, as Abby engrossed herself in her beloved TV shows, Mike settled in to tackle his usual paperwork. It was a task he wasn't particularly fond of, especially considering how the bills seemed to climb higher with each passing month. Even though they were essentially the same, being currently unemployed gave him the impression that each payment had somehow inflated. Just as he was wrapping up his tax payments, a business card slipped through the paperwork, piquing his curiosity and triggering an unexpected flashback.
He hesitated for a moment, contemplating the significance of the card, and then made an impulsive decision. Michael picked up the card and dialed Mr. Reglan's number.
Silence greeted Mike on the other end of the line, as if Mr. Raglan had anticipated the need to give him some space before speaking. "Hello, Mr. Raglan, it's Mike." He began, slightly perplexed. Oddly enough, he could almost sense the man's smile from the other end of the call. It was a whimsical, knowing smile, as if the company had despaired of finding anyone willing to take on the position. Advising Mr. Raglan to take anyone who had agreed upon the offer. "The man who doesn’t do night shifts..."
“How may I help you?”
He hesitated for a moment, taking a deep gulp. Ultimately, if he hoped to secure some much-needed income by the end of the month, Mike felt he had no choice but to go for it. With trepidation, he inquired about the availability of the job position. Mr. Raglan's response was swift and affirmative, exuding a sense of warmth toward the young man's inquiry. Encouraged by this, Mr. Raglan asked, "So, from the seemingly random question, can I assume you are accepting to be the Night Guard? Is that correct?"
“Yes.” Mike firmly agreed.
“Well!” Mr. Raglan exclaimed with a beam smile written on his features. “Now let me explain you everything you need to know…”
Mike's first night turned out to be anything but simple, despite his initial expectations. Although he had assumed it would be a straightforward affair, the reality hit him when he arrived at the Pizzeria. Mr. Raglan had painted an enticing picture, but the reality was far from appealing. The exterior of the place was drab, with a sign in disrepair, and an entrance that appeared older than Mike himself. The eerie atmosphere left him questioning the wisdom of his decision to accept the job. However, the need for money was a compelling motivator, so he soldiered on.
As he stepped into the building, he recalled being informed that the technology was outdated yet operational, suggesting that someone had been there before him to maintain it. Regardless, as long as their shifts didn't overlap, it was a situation he could live with. However, as he prepared to settle into his office, a profound sense of isolation crept over him. Or perhaps it was a feeling he had merely convinced himself of.
On that very night, Mr. Raglan had called for a check-in, a practice that you found rather unsettling. It only served to worsen your already fragile sleep schedule as the weeks passed. What made it even more distressing were the persistent, haunting visions of them replaying in your mind – flashbacks of their appearances at the restaurant and even inside your own home. But what set your anxiety spiraling was the presence of an eerie figure intertwined with these visions. This haunting scenario ultimately drove you to seek medical attention at the hospital due to severe sleep deprivation. After that harrowing incident, it's safe to say that your eyes would seldom close.
You had also received a rather cryptic warning to keep an eye on the new night security guard, as if your job wasn't demanding enough on its own. Strangely enough, you had never laid eyes on the big boss, nor had any idea what he even looked like. All you knew was that he had a penchant for privacy and seemed to have great faith in Mr. Raglan's knack for providing these kinds of employment opportunities.
As you cruised through the town, dressed in your security guard uniform, you made a pit stop at the convenience store. There, you grabbed some instant coffee and a few snacks to keep yourself alert during your night shift. It wasn't as if you desperately needed them, but considering the unpredictable behavior of the animatronics, especially on the new security guard’s very first day, you opted to stay on high alert. After all, it had been who knew how long since you'd managed to keep your sanity intact while enduring the trials of this dismal place.
You had casually mentioned to Vanessa that you had a few errands to run. She appeared as exhausted as you, both of you affected by the recent ordeal involving the security guard. You couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor guy, always caught in the middle of chaos and associated with the color purple. It seemed absurd that something so innocuous could be the root of all these problems, but you quickly dismissed such thoughts. After paying the cashier and expressing your gratitude, you left the store behind.
Mike's night was surprisingly going well, and he mused, "It's not as bad as I thought." Despite his seemingly confident tone, he remained alert and cautious. While you had explicitly advised Vanessa not to come and check on you, yet she did precisely the opposite. Mike suddenly became aware that he was not alone. Could it be a burglar? He had been sternly warned against letting any strangers in, and he was determined to follow that advice. However, Vanessa's impressive familiarity with the Pizzeria allowed her to slip in through an alternate entrance, demonstrating her knowledge of the place. Leading Mike into desperate urgent major. Finding the burglar.
Meeting Vanessa had caught him off guard, and he was momentarily taken aback by her unexpected presence. Vanessa, however, took the initiative to speak on his behalf. "You must be the new security guard," she observed. Mike, still trying to process who this woman was, offered a hesitant nod, prompting a chuckle from Vanessa at his reaction. "I'm Vanessa," she introduced herself, her tone light. "Security guard by day, and assistant by night."
"Assistant?" Mike scrutinized her, contemplating whether he should call the big boss to confirm her role. However, Vanessa reassured him, saying. "No need to. The big boss called Y/N to fix Foxy's lair."
"Y/N?" Mike inquired, skepticism evident in his voice. "And why should I take your word for it without any proof?" He stayed close to the camera footage and swiftly switched to the next camera, which was focused on Foxy's area. Everything appeared to be in pristine condition, suggesting the entire place had been left deserted. "And who is this... Y/N?"
Vanessa pointed at the screen displaying the main entrance, where you were standing, clearly aware of the camera above. You cheekily flipped your finger at the camera, leaving Mike torn between the belief that Vanessa was indeed present or that the security guard was merely doing his job, and she wasn't there at all.
"I informed them that I wouldn't be around, but they are rather fragile. They are being advised to be checked on during their shift." Vanessa explained. "While I focus on the animatronics to avoid raising any suspicion, I suggest you go and check on them.”
The instructions were unmistakable, and Mike had little choice but to comply. "But... what if the boss finds out I'm not at my station?" He voiced his concern. Vanessa couldn't help but chuckle softly, feeling a pang of sympathy for him. "Don't fret. He's already aware." She reassured him, her expression tinged with a hint of guilt.
"Great," Mike muttered with an eye roll as he returned to monitoring the main entrance. He couldn't help but steal a glance at your figure, noticing how cold you seemed on this early fall night. He could practically see you shouting on the other line, "Hey, jerk! Let me in, it's freezing out here!" Even though he couldn't hear your words, he could tell from the expression on your face. In response, he finally granted you access, and you muttered with relief. "About time..." just before stepping inside.
As you stepped inside, the interior of the place made you acutely aware of your luck, albeit in an eerie way. It was undeniably creepy, yet you had an inexplicable sense of safety and even felt oddly welcomed. Foxy, known to be the most terrifying and historically the meanest of them all, somehow found solace in your presence. You could have sworn that at times, his eyes seemed to lower, watching as you tended to him. It was as though he had a hidden identity, not quite ready to reveal his true nature, you suspected.
As you wandered through the Pizzeria, Mike couldn't help but notice your diminutive figure amidst all the towering animatronics. He found it difficult to fathom how someone so petite could be employed in this establishment. He murmured his thoughts to Vanessa, nudging her gently. "Maybe we—" He began, but she quickly interrupted, saying, "Not now."
As you finished repairing Bonnie, the big boss tasked you with fixing Foxy, who had been acting strangely. It struck you as odd because Foxy typically only reacted to potential intruders. He preferred targeting moving objects over those playing hide and seek until they got too close. You made your way up to his lair, pulled back the curtains, and revealed his silhouette. "Seems like someone's been naughty lately..." Your voice usually provided comfort, but today it had an odd tone. "Have you...met the new guard?" You found it rather absurd to be talking to a robotic entity, particularly one as poorly and cheaply programmed as you had discovered. If there was one thing you wanted to tell the big boss, assuming you ever met them, it was to consider upgrading the gear if they ever thought of opening another Pizzeria.
On the other end, Mike observed you with a watchful eye. It didn't take long before you began repairing Foxy's arm and his body started to glitch unexpectedly. "Weird... I thought—" Your words were abruptly cut off by a loud and startling BANG. Foxy's eyes were now fixed on you, but they were different from what you were used to. They were red and filled with anger, just like in your recurring nightmares. In that harrowing moment, you froze in place, uncertain of what to do next. "Y/N!" Vanessa's voice came through the walkie-talkie, but you couldn't hear it. Everything around you felt vacant, as if you were about to become Foxy's last meal of the night... or so you feared.
An arm swiftly reached out and pulled you close to its owner. Mike clutched you tightly, and a sense of terror and dread washed over both of you. It was Mike who managed to break free from the grip and make a dash for the monitor room, but just as he got there, Bonnie arrived, blocking his path. "Damn it," he cursed, frantically scanning for an alternate route. You, from your vantage point, weakly directed him, "The first aid room...to the right."
Without uttering a word of thanks, which, given the gravity of the situation, seemed secondary to getting you to safety, Mike finally brought you to the emergency room. It was a room that had seen far too much use, but oddly enough, everything seemed to return to normal once you arrived. The animatronics had moved elsewhere, and for some reason, they couldn't access the area. This brought a sense of relief to Mike. He carefully placed your body on a rather shabby bunk bed and softly murmured, "Here..." You remained in a state of shock, your eyes wide as if your body had been frozen in place. "Hey," He attempted to reassure you, "you're safe now. Vanessa should... Great job, Mike, real smooth." He berated himself inwardly for his awkward choice of words.
Upon hearing Vanessa's presence, you lifted your head abruptly, your eyes brimming with tears you were trying to hold back. Just when you thought of her, she appeared, precisely knowing where to find you. You felt a mixture of relief and concern as she leaned in to inspect you for any wounds or scratches, cupping your face and keeping her gaze locked on you. "Has they had any water?" Mike, who was present to assist, appeared increasingly nervous this time. Being new to this place, he didn't know everything either. "Where... Where is it?" He stammered, quickly searching the room. Vanessa pointed in the direction, her eyes never leaving you. "The first storage room to the left."
"Y/N, look at me." Vanessa implored, his voice filled with unease. "The man doesn't exist. He's not here... He's a fictional—"
Nervously, Mike handed the water bottle to Vanessa, who then offered it to you. This time, you shook your head vigorously, tears streaming down your face. "No! I saw him. Foxy spoke his name to me! It can't just be in my dreams!" You pleaded, desperate to convince them, despite your previous breakdowns being labeled as delusional by past doctors. As you shook your head, you realized that Mike was beside you. You clung to his arm, causing him to gulp nervously, just a little. "You have to believe me... Please..."
Mike found it hard to believe, even though you had clearly experienced a breakdown in that moment. While it was entirely understandable, he tried to do the same thing Vanessa did. "Perhaps you should just take a moment to breathe." He suggested. "Whenever I'm in a state of panic, my doctor advises me to take deep breaths." You observed him closely and countered. "And does your doctor say you're insane?"
Insane…
As undeniable as the truth was, it struck Mike that perhaps you were right. Everything seemed so peculiar when it came to Abby and Y/N's imaginary friends, especially with Vanessa working so hard to conceal her friend's breakdowns. "You know... now that you mention it..." Mike began, leaning in to discuss it further. Vanessa attempted to nudge him away, but you allowed him to continue. But he stopped. And by locking eyes with each other, you both knew something was wrong with this place. So in response, you leaned in and wrapped yourself in his arm. There was something about him that felt like home. You felt protected and, for once, someone truly understood you.
On the other hand, Mike comforted you with a few soothing rubs on your back. He glanced at Vanessa, who seemed to share the relief but carried a heavy load of guilt inside, which she wasn't ready to disclose to either Mike or you. “Shh… I got you.” He said, with a soothing voice that remembered it as your older brother. Not letting it go he continued. “We are going to get through all of this together… Y/N.”
“Together…”
In the distance, Abby observed the trio with Foxy's humanoid presence beside her. Foxy, who felt a deep sense of guilt for what he had done to them just hours ago, hesitated to intervene to bring Y/N back to him. However, as he watched Mike and you, he felt a strong urge to protect you, jealousy even you were a mother figure for everyone, but especially Foxy. Abby noticed his face changing into hatred until she halted him with a reassuring smile. "There's no need," Abby whispered. "They have found someone... Someone who truly cares for them. Someone who will love and protect them."
Foxy silently observed the scene unfolding before his eyes, and as he heard Abby's words, he felt a sense of relief welling up within him. Watching it all happen, Foxy came to realize that Abby was indeed right. Y/N had found someone they could genuinely rely on, someone with whom she could openly express their feelings..

mad max, the party's zoomer - apoc au character details under the cut!
---
max's role in the party:
a runner - fast and quiet, tends to be the one who makes out with the most supplies
mechanic - knows best about cars and is one of the party's designated drivers (the other being mike)
medic - not as skilled with plants and medicine like will, but is good with first aid and physical treatment!
thief - who the party sends out if they need to "borrow" from other groups (second nature to her)
skills + hobbies:
incredible with melee weapons and hand-to-hand combat -> everything she knows was taught to her by billy
decent shot, but prefers using melee way more!
stealthy, like a ninja - her and el are the quietest in the party! max's fighting style is much more brawler-like despite this
good with card games (likes poker, speed and BS) -> likes to play them with the party a lot, but in particular with dustin and lucas
skateboards whenever she can -> her favorite thing to do next to driving!
really loves listening to music (fave artists are madonna, taylor swift and destiny's child) -> likes having el or will in shotgun so they can listen together!
quirks / fun facts:
whenever dustin goes to bed, max takes his current handheld and tries to beat his high score on whatever retro game he's currently playing (dustin does not know its max who's actively beating his ass on dig dug and tetris)
she took billy's jacket and baseball bat and made them her own - very complicated relationship with him and her upbringing with her stepbro made her very skeptical and suspicious of others (especially the party when she first met them)
when she steals things, she tries to keep the party in mind when grabbing extra :')
--- other notes: ladies and gentlemen, our newest addition - maxine! i'll admit, the two characters i think i'm most shoddy on for their characterizations are dustin and max. since max's story in my au is so heavily tied to her issues with trusting people again (specifically men) and family, i'm scared that it will make her character intrinsically tied to relationships instead of having her own character. i'll try my very best for it not to be that way, of course!
for now, she's how i imagine her in the show - she's still a cheeky, sarcastic, stubborn and awesome tomboy with insurmountable trust and distance issues, and i love her for that! the circumstances that drew her to the party are currently a secret, but i will establish now that billy is tied to her storyline and how the party meets her for the first time - while billy's an interesting character in his own right, i straight up don't like him :P so i'm warning people now that billy's more a plot device for max's arc and i probably won't be diving incredibly deep into his character. this is a party centric au after all!
when i was thinking of max's character, i was trying to keep the things she liked in mind and why she was so cool in the first place! ofc, she had to skateboard, even if it was only a little, and she's honestly just great at games in general (to dustin's dismay).
her upbringing in canon and the way she acts is pure "survival instinct" behavior. she knows first aid, she knows how to drive, she escapes vecna, she's incredibly independent! she's a fighter, through and through. she's also not really one to hesitate often to be hands on, and i can see it in the way she acted seasons 2-4 :')
lucas is almost done - maybe a few days give or take!

I saw you got your first request! That’s so sweet and lovely I love your writing :)
I was wondering if maybe I could request something pretty please? Angstyyyy and fluff
what if eddie has substance abuse problems like rockstar!eddie or Eddie needed something to cope with the events of s4 but it’s wrecking him and your relationship and you love him and have tried to help him but is basically like it’s me or the drugs
My second request ever! Thank you so much (: I went with Eddie coping after the events of season four and tried to leave it open to him using either drugs or alcohol. I've watched someone struggle with addiction before so I based it a little off of that.
Warnings: Substance Abuse, Addiction, Rehab, Established Relationship, Intervention, Angst, Fighting, Sad Uncle Wayne, Happy Ending, Hurt/Comfort, 18+ only
Wordcount: 2.2k
Pick And Choose
It started with him being late to everything and then he stopped showing up completely. Phone calls became few and far between. He didn’t even play DnD anymore. Then it was the fighting, the lying, and the stealing.
It all came to a head last weekend when you drove around town looking for Eddie, who had fought with Wayne over his behavior and disappeared without a trace. Steve eventually found him passed out in someone's basement at a party with no memory of how he got there. The fight that took place between the two of you the next morning was the worst you had ever gotten into.
You hadn’t talked to him since then. A week of complete silence on your part. Eddie had called you a few times and left you some unintelligible voicemails that you didn’t respond to.
You had watched Eddie slowly wither into himself. At first, you didn’t allow yourself to believe what you were seeing. The happy and healthy man you knew was decaying right in front of you.
The last six months had been hard on Eddie. From watching Chrissy die, to almost dying in the upside down and then waking up to a town that wanted to lock him away forever.
The charges were dropped and the physical wounds healed but Eddie still wasn’t okay. You knew it, Wayne knew it and your friends knew it too.
You made excuses for Eddie whenever Dustin, Mike or Lucas wanted to see him and he wasn’t answering the phone. But they were starting to pick up that something was wrong. They were smart kids and you couldn’t lie to them forever.
Wayne opened the trailer door for you when you knocked, letting you in silently. He nodded his head towards Eddie’s room, the new one since the old trailer had been destroyed.
“Has he been up at all today?” You asked quietly, not wanting to risk Eddie knowing you were there yet.
Wayne shook his head with a pained look on his face.
You let out a deep sigh, setting your things on the counter.
“Maybe we should call that Harrington boy up here too. Just in case he tries to fight,” Wayne suggested.
You thought for a second. Steve was able to be some of a voice of reason when Eddie went too far but there had also been times when Steve sported a black eye after Eddie lashed out. Steve had already been hit far too many times over the years and had such extreme headaches that you didn't want to risk it.
“I-I think we should just do it. Just us. I don’t want him to feel cornered,” you finally said. “If it goes too far we’ll back off and try again another day.” The thought of having another day with Eddie was wishful. You woke up everyday terrified that you would get a phone call informing you of the inevitable. He could only go on this way for so long.
You grabbed the pamphlets out of your bag and handed one to Wayne. He stared down at it, not opening or reading it, just observing.
A loud bump and crash could be heard coming from Eddie’s room. You looked at Wayne who was still staring at the pamphlet. It was show time.
You sat down on the couch alone. “Wayne?” You asked, breaking him out of his trance.
The man slowly sank down in the recliner across from you.
Eddie’s bedroom door crashed open, hitting the wall and surely adding to the dent that was already there. You watched as he stumbled into the kitchen, sweatpants and t-shirt baggy on his thinning form. When he noticed you on the couch he paused suddenly, swaying slightly.
“What are you doing here?” He croaked, eyes squinted like he couldn’t see you.
“I’m here to talk,” you said, keeping your voice light.
“Come sit down with us, Eddie,” Wayne spoke up, craning his neck to turn and look at his nephew. You could see the slight wince when he took in Eddie’s shape.
“Okay?” Eddie said, dropping down on the couch beside you.
Up close you could see just how bad he had gotten in a week. His eyes were bloodshot and rimmed red. His hair hung in lifeless strands surrounding his face. His cheeks were hollow and pale. You just wanted to wrap him up in your arms and heal him with everything you had. But you weren’t a superhero. You didn’t have the powers to fix this.
Eddie looked away when he noticed the look on your face.
“What’s up?” He asked, like this was some sort of friendly neighborhood chit chat. At least he was in a good mood for now.
You took a shaky breath. “I love you, Eddie.”
His eyes softened slightly at this. “ If this is about our fight I don’t really want to talk about it right now,” he said, gesturing towards his uncle who sat with a stoic look on his face.
“We need to talk about it though. I’m worried about you,” you said.
Eddie let out a humorless chuckle. He leaned his head up against the back of the couch. “I’m fine. We’re fine. Everyone is fine,” he muttered.
“No. Everyone is not fine. I think you should go get some help,” you informed him in a soft voice.
Eddie’s head snapped up to look at you. “If you’re here because you think you can tell me what to do then you can just leave. I don’t want you here anyways.” His mood changed in a heartbeat when he was like this. The second he felt like he was being criticized he snapped.
You swallowed, trying to fight the harsh sting of his words. You had to remind yourself it wasn’t him talking. He didn’t mean it.
Eddie used to be so full of life. He never would have spoken to you like that before this. Sometimes you wished you could crawl into a time machine just so you can have old Eddie comfort you the way you needed. You’d give anything to hear him tell you everything would be okay again.
You pulled the pamphlet out from under your leg and handed it to him with a shaking hand. “Um, I got you a bed here. They’re ready to take you tonight if you’ll go.”
Eddie snatched the papers out of your hand and ripped them in half without even looking at them. He stood up now, his form trembling with the effort. You wanted to ask him when the last time he ate or drank anything was but now wasn’t the time.
He pointed a finger into your face. “You think you can just show up here after abandoning me for a week and tell me what to do. You just think you are so goddamn perfect all the time. Everything would be fine if you would just shut up and let me do what I want to do.”
You clenched your hands into tight fists, fighting the anger and hurt. The counselor at the facility had told you this might happen. It was very important not to engage in this behavior.
“Eddie,” you said softly, a stark contrast to the tone he had used to speak to you. “We can’t keep doing this. You have to choose either me or the way you’re living. You can’t have both. I can’t sit here and watch you die.” You started to cry then at the thought of this killing him. You turned your head, quickly wiping the tears off of your cheeks.
You could hear Eddie take a trembling breath. “If that’s what you want then go. Get the hell out,” he demanded.
You looked up to him to see his eyes wide, nostrils flared and hands balled up at his side. You weren’t going to get through to him. You weren’t going to be able to save Eddie like you thought.
You stood slowly, giving him the chance to change his mind. He just stood there, staring at you as you went to walk out of his life for good.
A few sniffles had you pausing your journey to the front door. You turned to see Wayne with his head in his hand and his shoulders shaking violently. You had been so caught up in talking to Eddie that you had forgotten that he was even there.
Eddie’s expression crumbled as he watched his uncle sob.
“Wayne,” he stammered, placing a hand on his uncle's shoulder. “Why are you crying?”
“Because I can’t do it anymore, Eddie. I can’t sit here and watch you end up just like your father.”
Eddie winced like he had been struck. “But I’m not like him.”
Wayne looked up at him with red swollen eyes. “You are though. This is exactly like he was. I can't sit here any longer and watch history repeat itself. And watching the way you just spoke to someone you’re supposed to love. That’s exactly how your father spoke to your mother.”
You watched silently, waiting for Eddie to snap back at his uncle or lash out but he never did. He collapsed onto the couch, folding into himself as he wrapped his arms around his waist. He slowly started to rock his body back and forth.
“No,” he denied, looking at you now. “You know I didn’t mean it right. You know I love you. I just don’t feel good.”
Eddie was crying now too. His uncle's words making some sort of breakthrough. It was now or never.
“Then go get help, Eddie.” You approached him slowly, sitting down beside him carefully. “It’s already all set up for you. You just have to go.”
“And how are we going to afford that? I can just get clean here,” he argued.
You shook your head. “No. Don’t worry about the money it’s already taken care of.”
He would blow a fuse if he found out Steve had given you a significant loan to fund Eddie’s treatment. Steve insisted you wouldn’t have to pay him back but you were going to work the rest of your life to make sure he got every penny.
Eddie chewed on his already chapped lips before he took another look at his uncle's tear streaked face and started to nod.
Tumblr media
Ninety days came and went in a blur.
Eddie’s room had been cleaned out prior to his arrival home. Anything that wasn’t good for him was tossed out.
You leaned against the side of Wayne’s truck while he went inside to collect Eddie. The warm breeze swept through, warming your skin. It was a beautiful day for Eddie to be free again.
You and Eddie didn’t speak for the first thirty days of his treatment. He was in worse shape than you thought when he first got there. There had been a few times when he almost left. Around day thirty five he called you to let you know that he was okay and that he would be sending you a letter he wrote.
It was a letter of apologies for everything he had done and said since he started using. With promises to get better. He told you that he loved you and he never stopped loving you even when things got rocky. That the addiction made him act that way and he would do anything possible to never hurt you again. You sobbed when you read it. You kept it folded up in your nightstand for when the nights got really lonely and you needed a reminder that Eddie was going to get better. And that he still loved you despite the way things were left.
The glass doors to the facility opened to reveal Wayne with a tall figure following closely behind him. You pushed off the truck to get a better look when he started speed walking towards you.
You didn’t have time to react before you were being lifted off the ground in a tight hug. You melted into his arms, savoring the feeling of him.
“Don’t hurt yourself,” Wayne called out as he approached.
Eddie put you down, holding you out at arms length so he could get a good look at you. His skin was no longer sunken in but healthy with a glow. His hair shined in the sunlight. Two brown eyes full of life stared back at you.
Words escaped you. Part of you didn’t expect him to look better. You had expected to still see the sick and crying Eddie you had dropped off three months ago, not the one grinning at you now. The counselors had told you that this wasn’t a cure and he had to work hard for the rest of his life but it was a start to being better.
“Holy shit,” you blurted out.
Eddie's smile turned shy, his hands reaching up to cup your face. He looked at you for a second, making sure what he was about to do was okay. You nodded slightly, leaning in for your lips to meet. Eddie kissed you like he had been away for ninety years and not ninety days.
When you finally broke apart, he whispered into your ear the words you wanted to hear. “Thank you for saving me.”

hiiii could i possibly request something with the good ol' "steve is insecure with his place in the group/his intelligence/his worth compared to the rest of the party" cliche with reassurances in the form of copious amounts of cuddles and kisses and pet names from eddie? you're so great for doing these and i'm eagerly waiting for the next chapter of call me sunshine <3
Not Steve "self-doubt" Harrington convincing himself he can't be loved because he doesn't fit in or provide "useful" things to the group!!! I am lowkey hoping someone maybe adds to make this explicit because something about them having to be quiet in a tent just sounds like it has potential idk. Eddie is so in love in this it makes me SICK. - Mickala ❤️ (@scoops-stevie)
----------------------------------------------------
When Steve suggested that they do something fun together for the weekend, he meant maybe going into the city or renting a lake house maybe.
He definitely didn’t mean camping.
Outdoor camping was Dustin’s idea, and all the kids had agreed quickly. Robin bowed out the moment she could come up with a decent excuse and he could tell that Eddie wanted to do the same but wouldn’t abandon him.
Hopefully.
Eddie had quietly offered to steal another RV, but Steve turned it down.
“You just started getting back in the good graces of most of the town, let’s not give them a reason to hate you again.”
So they packed up the van with all the camping supplies they collectively had: three tents (one for the girls, one for the boys, one for Steve and Eddie), a couple coolers full of drinks and food, a few chairs, flashlights, sleeping bags, and clothes.
Steve wasn’t great at reading maps, so he let Dustin ride passenger to help Eddie find where they were going.
He sat with the girls, mostly because he liked the way they just ignored everyone and everything and talked amongst each other about mundane things.
He may not always understand what they’re talking about, but he liked being a part of it.
He almost never understood what they were talking about actually.
But it was better than having everything the boys were talking about go right over his head.
Especially when they started arguing about stuff and talked so fast that Steve had no chance of keeping up.
Steve just kind of watched as everyone around him had conversations.
He tried not to think about how everyone was existing without him in a way.
He was here, but he wasn’t needed.
—-----------------------
When they arrived at the campsite, it was even more secluded than they thought it would be.
It was also only a couple hours until sunset and they all had to make sure the tents were set up properly before it was too dark to see.
Steve got started with his tent while Eddie helped the girls. Max still had limited movement in her wrists so she was given the task of setting the chairs around the fire pit that Lucas and Mike had formed.
Steve was struggling.
He’d only put up one tent before, and it was at summer camp where the counselor and four other boys had been helping. In all honesty, he’d pretty much managed to watch the whole time instead of help.
He would manage to get part of it up, but it would fall apart when he tried to do the other side. He kept losing the pieces to keep it tied down to the ground.
He was losing against an inanimate object.
Everyone else was doing fine; Joking and laughing and finishing up their tasks like they didn’t have to put all their focus into one thing at a time.
El wordlessly started helping him, and he knew she wasn’t judging him, but he couldn’t help the small part of his brain that was telling him that she thought he was stupid.
He was quiet for the rest of the evening.
They cooked hot dogs over the fire that Will started, then made s’mores since El had never had them before.
He watched and listened, smiled when everyone else was.
But he felt overcome with sadness that he just didn’t belong here.
He was the babysitter, he took care of them, and drove them around, and helped them survive alternate dimension monsters.
He didn’t know how to talk to them about the stuff they liked, or play their stupid dragon game. He could barely keep up with half the things they said.
“Hey guys, I’m gonna turn in for the night,” he said suddenly, interrupting something Mike had been saying to everyone.
Everyone looked at him with sad looks, but Eddie looked concerned.
“You okay? Is it a headache?” He asked.
Damn, he hadn’t even thought of a good excuse. At least Eddie was providing him one for free.
“Yeah, just a little one. I think if I sleep now it’ll be fine by morning.”
The taste of the lie in his mouth made his lip curl slightly. The words “friends don’t lie” replayed in his brain as he stood up and made his way to his tent at the far end of their setup.
No one tried to stop him, but he could feel their eyes on him as he unzipped his tent and then zipped it back up behind him.
They’d set up lamps inside each tent so that they could reserve flashlights for bathroom trips or emergencies. His was the kind you can dim, so he did. He took off his shoes and jeans, changing into the t-shirt he brought from home that was probably Eddie’s now that he was looking closer at it.
He’d brought his pillow from home because he couldn’t possibly sleep flat on the ground, and Eddie had brought one of his own because he still had some back pains when he slept wrong.
He curled up in his sleeping bag, holding Eddie’s pillow against his chest.
He felt a tear start to run down his face without his permission, not even sure why he was crying right now.
He heard the zipper and tried to shut his eyes quickly, hide his face in the pillow in hopes that Eddie would think he was really asleep.
“Hey darlin’. Mind if I join?” Eddie whispered.
Steve couldn’t ignore him, so he nodded and started to move the pillow from his chest and face.
“Oh, sweetheart. Why are you crying?”
Steve shook his head. He couldn’t even begin to explain.
“Can I hold you?”
Steve let out a sob, and Eddie didn’t wait for him to answer.
He was laying down next to Steve, pulling him against his chest and running his hands up and down his back.
“Is it a migraine? Do you need me to get some ice from the cooler? Or medicine from the van?”
“No, not a migraine.”
“Okay. Is it just a bad night?”
Steve couldn’t help the fondness he felt at that.
Eddie was so understanding, and incredible, and perfect. Steve didn’t deserve him just like he didn’t deserve the rest of these people.
“Stevie, it’s okay to have a bad night. Sometimes they just happen, right? That’s what you always tell me.”
Eddie’s hand had found its way to Steve’s hair, slowly running through the strands, occasionally looping the ends around a finger.
It sent chills down Steve’s spine when his fingers brushed against his neck so gently.
“I just don’t belong here.”
“I’ll admit the outdoors is not really my favorite place either, but-”
“No, not. Not the outdoors. Here. With everyone.”
“Why wouldn’t you?” Eddie’s hand had frozen in his hair and on his back.
“I’m not smart. I’m not good at putting things together or fixing things. I can’t even be in most of their conversations. They keep me around because they don’t know how to get rid of me. I mean, they don’t even need a babysitter anymore!”
Steve’s tears were dripping onto Eddie’s shirt, making a mess.
Another reason he shouldn’t be around.
Eddie tilted his face up, nothing but love in his eyes.
“I want you to listen to me. You are needed in this group. You are wanted in this group. You are loved in this group. Do you really think a bunch of teenagers would be wasting a weekend camping with you when they could be going to the movies or the arcade or getting into trouble?”
Steve didn’t answer, but he sniffled as he watched Eddie get more passionate.
“And it is absolute bullshit that you’re not smart. How many times have you been the one to figure out something, whether it was during Upside Down shit or not? How many times have you been the one with common sense? You’re more than a babysitter, my love. You’ve always been more than that to all of them.”
They laid there in silence for a few minutes, Steve soaking in Eddie’s words as Eddie continued to comfort him in the way he needed.
“I just feel like I need to be more useful. I don’t want them to get bored or annoyed because I can’t be part of their world,” he finally said, his voice shaking.
“Angel, they love you for who you are. Just like I love you for who you are. You fit where you fit because that’s what the group needs. They don’t need another Dustin to always make connections because of one obscure fact relating to something he read once when he was nine. They don’tneed another El to fight their battles. They need the Steve who is going to go along with whatever they want to do so he can protect them if and when things go wrong. They need the Steve who is always there to support them even with the most mundane things.”
“I couldn’t even set up the tent by myself.”
“None of us could. I had help. That’s why I told El to help you. None of us can do stuff alone, love. You’re putting expectations on yourself that no one else is putting on you.”
Steve shuddered.
He’d been pretty famous for doing that for years.
Once his parents stopped caring at all, he started caring too much.
And now he expected more of himself than anyone else ever would.
He’d set himself up to fail. At least in his own eyes.
“Did that finally get into that concussed brain of yours?” Eddie said, smirk evident in his tone.
Steve playfully slapped his chest and hid his face against his tear-soaked shirt.
“I guess maybe it did. A little,” he said.
“Good. You know I love you more than the stars, right?”
“And the moon?”
“And the galaxies in space.”
Steve settled further against Eddie’s side.
“I love you, too,” he sighed out, feeling content for probably the first time this entire trip.
In the morning, he’d start over, let his brain rest. He’d make everyone breakfast and then help them all make sure they were prepared for their short hike. He’d pack them sandwiches and extra water bottles in case they ended up walking further than they planned. And when they all got back to the campsite the next night, he’d make s’mores with them.
He’d ignore the voice telling him that he wasn’t enough for any of them, and he’d be enough for himself.

If a version of Midnight Sun existed for each following instalment of the Twilight series (New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn), what do you think they’d be called/what would you call them and what (new) scenes would be in them?
Anon, you speak my greatest dream. I want this in my life. If no one else does, then I am the sole person who does. If there is not one person who wants this, it means that I have died.
I need this.
But for now, I can only imagine (and no doubt fail miserably to what it would be in actuality).
New Moon
The thing is that Meyer would also want to call this New Moon for the reason that she called it New Moon for Bella: this is a book about hopelessness. Edward leaves, Bella's soulmate, she literally cannot survive without him and this book is her discovering "oh, yeah, I literally cannot survive without him" (and making friends with Jacob but let's be real Meyer was never that into that).
It's a book where the moon, the light, is gone.
For Edward, we have the same narrative, he tries to leave Bella for her own good, fails, has a miserable time, and comes crawling back only to find that he's made everything worse.
But because Edward is more dramatic, and to thematically work with Midnight Sun (named thus as Bella is the unexpected sunlight in what should be the darkest of Edward's nights) we have Polar Night which is the phenomenon opposite of Midnight Sun where instead of the sun never setting at all we have the night never ending.
As for what would be in it. My friend, my beautiful friend, everything would be in it.
We'd get the scene where Edward bullies his family into leaving, many of them having reservations, and then steals all Bella's photographs and tries and fails to steal the stereo out of her car. We'd get scenes of Edward fantasizing about Bella marrying and holding hands with MiKe NEWtoN and it being entirely too much for him. We get all of the birthday party, period, which from Edward's point of view would no doubt be insane.
We have Edward so fucking depressed that he feels he's bringing the family down and chooses to leave on the vague pretext of catching Victoria. Then he doesn't catch Victoria and loses her in Mexico but is so depressed he just keeps going south until he hits Brazil.
Where he stays, and per what he says to Bella (which is undoubtedly not the entire truth) he was fucking miserable and did nothing for months. Did he have a Hallucination Bella who told him not to eat human food because it'd make him sick? Did he write a rock opera about Bella Swan only to realize it didn't live up to real life and burn it in a fit of despair and anger? What about the family calling to check in? We know that happened, Rosalie could reach Edward and he answered, so did they just call and quietly try to ask if Edward's coming back home or not? You know? Anytime? Edward?
And then of course his pleading for death with the Volturi, being told no, planning his elaborate massacre-suicide before settling on good old suicide without any murder and Bella being alive and that whole debacle from his point of view including "OH NO OTHER MAN MOVED IN" when he realizes Jacob's... kind of... a thing...
Everything would be new in part because we see so little of Edward and given the insanity in Midnight Sun that was never in Twilight I can't even guess to what Edward got up to for months in Rio.
It could be fucking anything.
Eclipse
Or "Edward did a bad thing and is now very nervous" the novel. As for what it's call, this is less clear as we have to go with the sun/moon themes here, and Eclipse is already taken. If we're allowed weather related events maybe "Eye of the Hurricane" as there's a storm out there and this book is about Edward barely holding his shit together. This is his nightmare scenario in every way.
Bella has a new love interest, a friend she believes is platonic who is very interested in her, and worse, Edward actually does admire and is hands down in Edward's opinion the better man for her to be with. Bella's changed when he was gone and is now an adrenaline junky, what else about her has changed? How much did he miss? She's involved in werewolves who all hate Edward, for good reason, and want her to leave him, for good reason. Edward has discovered that he actually can't leave Bella, Alice was right, even though he wants to be that strong desperately. Bella got the family to agree to turn her and they'll do it, Edward's barely gotten her to agree to be turned by him instead, but she's hemming and hawing about marrying and committing to him and she wants him to bang him (which will likely lead to her death)
Edward is straight up not having a good time, bro.
So, we'd get Edward's insane plans to keep Bella and Jacob apart, his meeting Bella in the road after her looking like he'd love nothing more than to pull The Terminator where he chases her car down. We get Edward's increasing nervousness that Bella "wants to be with him forever" but "doesn't want to marry him" (which for Edward, understandably as he doesn't have Bella's background, is something that just doesn't compute). And there's Jacob, kissing Bella, warming her up at night, thinking very dirty things when Edward's sitting right there internally screaming.
And of course, offscreen things with the family, likely venting about the Denali who are leaving them to die because they won't let them kill the children Native Americans, wondering if they're all going to die in this fight, even more of the tent scene with Jacob (which I'm sure, somehow, I'm sure, got very homoerotic in there). Probably sobbing to Alice "I fucked up" and then hating Rosalie BECAUSE THIS IS ALL HER FAULT HISS HISS.
And of course, what we know he sees from Bree and perhaps the discussion with the family that Bella never got to be privy to.
And I imagine a lot of fantasies of Bella pregnant with Jacob's beautiful babies.
Breaking Dawn
I'm going to bow out for this one too, Meyer would want to name it that. Maybe we get "Hailey's Comet" or something, in that Edward has related Bella to a comet streaking across the bleak sky of his life and this is him learning to accept to be happy and perhaps good things are allowed to happen to him.
But anyways.
I mean.
We get Breaking Dawn.
We get Edward gearing himself up for sex and asking the family how to bang a woman. We know he did this. Canonically he confesses to Bella, in the weirdest manner possible, that he asked his entire family how to do it (and it made it clear that Carlisle didn't really approve and was pretty :/ and "don't do it" about all of it). We get the family probably watching Alice like hawks because they're waiting for her to tell them if Bella lived or died through intercourse. We get Edward interrogating the maid in Portuguese and god knows what they even said to one another but it had to be wild.
We get Edward planning Bella's abortion, the betrayal by Rosalie yet again, and then more planning of her forced abortion with Jacob and his opinion on Jacob turning from "respected rival" into "my only friend".
Then we get Edward's complete flip on Renesmee which must have been... I don't even know. But he'd be thinking she's the spawn of Satan before that (in the most Edward manner possible) and then that she's Jesus after that (in the most Edward manner possible).
Then of course there's "my son, Jacob" and honestly probably fantasizing about an adult Renesmee pregnant with Jacob's beautiful babies. Let's be real here. and just...
Look.
I can't predict this.
What we saw of Breaking Dawn was already insane and this would only be more so because it's Edward. There's so much we don't see as Bella pays 0 attention to the other vampires and to the family at large and Edward would just...
I have no idea.
It would just be madness.
TL;DR
I need this.

When someone tells you that they put their ducks in a row, don't listen to them. Waterfowl, and ducks in particular, are nearly impossible to align. Even if you only have two ducks – which is hardly anything to brag about – the axis formed by placing them side by side will last about five minutes before they're running off to eat snails in your yard.
Hello, I'm Seat Safety Switch, and this is Cosmos. We found the rights to the show at a garage sale. Even though the owner tried to chase us down on foot to get them back when he realized what happened, it turns out that Medium-Sized Mike's wheezing 3-speed-auto first-gen Dodge Neon was still much faster than a middle-aged dude wearing Vibrams who didn't pay enough attention to ominous folders marked "PBS Legal" before selling them for fifty cents.
In this, our spaceship of the imagination, we will soon visit: ducks. Humanity has long lived aside these quacking nightmares, but we don't know what makes them tick. Even accomplished biologists and veterinarians have looked inside them and written what I am assured is the equivalent to a Haynes manual, but we still don't know why ducks do what they do. The only thing we do know? Motherfuckers hate being in rows.
Some think that it's because of the magnetic sensors in their bills, which also force them into sleep mode when you accidentally bump them against the phone in your pocket when you're trying to steal their bread from the pond. Others believe that the ducks are merely more understanding than most animals of their true lack of purpose in the disordered chaos of the universe. Perhaps we'll never know. The one thing we do know is that anyone who tells you that they cleaned their garage up is a total liar. I guarantee you that if you go over there right now, and open up any of their cupboards, a ton of hoarded tools and paint will fall out. Ducks. Don't trust 'em.

Steve Raglan/William Afton and Mike Schmidt x Female Reader
Chapter 1

Summary: Your new boyfriend Mike Schmidt invites you to spend the evening with him at his new security job. He promises you nothing exciting ever happens and you’ll be all alone together.
He’s very wrong.
Also available on AO3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The idea of visiting your new boyfriend Mike Schmidt at his workplace sounds very appealing, at first.
He works third shift as a security guard in a long closed children’s party themed restaurant. You’ll have total privacy and plenty of time; he’s assured you nothing ever happens.
Now that you’re standing in front of the abandoned building, though, things feel very different.
The filaments in one of the lightbulbs in the marquis sign above the entrance struggle and the light extinguishes with a loud pop, causing you to jump. Mike glances back at you as he finishes unlocking the gate, smiling reassuringly when he walks back to you, wrapping his arms around your torso.
“Hey, it’s ok. I promise. Nothing exciting ever happens here. The place is just really old and run down.”
You nod, allowing him to guide you inside through the entryway and into the dining room.
“Hey guys,” he greets the animatronics onstage casually. You glance at the trio of figures, feeling another chill go through you. You’ve never liked the appearance of the animal mascots, finding the rows of teeth bared in a smile more threatening than friendly.
“The security office is back this way.” He takes your hand and you’re glad to follow, gratefully escaping the unnerving feeling the stares from the cold eyes give you.
“So this is where I spend my night.” He gestures for you to enter a room with a desk topped with monitors. It’s a cramped space, you note, with a narrow locker and filing cabinet completing the room’s decor.
“I don’t think I’d like being cooped up like this. How do you stand it?”
Mike sighs. “It’s a job. And I’ve kind of burned my bridges with the last one, so…”
“That wasn’t your fault. You were just trying to help that boy.” You lay a hand on his sleeve, looking at him sympathetically.
“I fucked up, plain and simple. At least it wasn’t all bad though. We wouldn’t have met otherwise,” he muses, resting a hand on one hip and stealing a kiss. It was true; you just happened to be shopping at the mall that day and were standing nearby when you witnessed the incident. “Besides, I need this job if I’m going to keep taking care of Abby. My aunt is really pushing this custody battle thing.”
“She doesn’t even want her. She’s just doing it to be a jerk.” You scowl. You’ve only met her once, briefly, while you were at Mike’s house. The woman was insufferable. Everything about her, from her pinched face to her snide comments to her horrible clothing made you instantly dislike her. You’ve already seen the bond between Mike and his sister, recognizing how close the two siblings were. He was doing such a good job raising her. His aunt had no right to try to interfere.
“You’re cute when you pout. Stop thinking about her. She’s not worth it. We’ve got better things to do.” He kisses you again, longer this time. His hands slide beneath your sweater, still cool from the early spring evening, and you shiver at the touch. He makes short work of the hooks of your bra, easing back to cup your breasts, thumbs dragging across nipples already erect from the cold climate outdoors.
You moan against his mouth and caress the soft waves of dark hair curling against the nape of his neck, encouraging him to continue. You’ve made out with him a few times already but you haven’t gone all the way yet. You wonder if tonight will be the night it finally happens.
Your eyes slide closed and Mike’s too busy working on the zipper of your jeans to notice the activity on one of the monitors that’s focused on the main entrance. A tall figure enters through the front door and vanishes from view, reappearing in one of the shots focused on the cash register and prize counter, then disappears yet again.
Mike’s just begun to peel the clinging denim down over the curves of your buttocks, mouth working on your throat when you hear the door open behind you.
“Holy shit—” Mike curses.
You gasp, turning to find a middle aged man standing in the opening of the doorway. His pale eyes are framed by gold aviators and his dark hair is touched with gray at the temples, a similar brush stroke running through his neatly trimmed beard.
“What’s going on here?” He looks more bemused than upset, his eyes openly roving over your half dressed form.
“Mr. Raglan. Um, listen, I can explain…”
“Really? I’d love to hear your excuse for this. Your explanations are always so…entertaining.” He smirks, arms folding over his dress shirt, rumpling the tie draped over his chest.
“We were just…” His voice trails off. There’s no way to describe any plausible reason for what the intruder has just witnessed. “I really need this job,” he says, his voice choked. “You’re not going to tell the owner, are you?”
“Well, that depends.”
“On what?”
“On how cooperative your girlfriend here is willing to be.” His arms drop and he takes a step forward. You can’t get over how much taller he is than the both of you. “I could be persuaded to keep silent.” He reaches for your face and you gasp, recoiling when his fingers graze your cheek.
“What the fuck man?” Mike slaps the other man’s hand away.
Steve shrugs. “It’s no skin off my nose. I’ll just be making a quick call to the owner, who I’m sure will be delighted to be woken up at this hour to find out he’s paying a security guard to fondle his girlfriend instead of watching the cameras.” He steps towards the desk but Mike stops him.
“Wait. Just…let’s talk about this for a minute.” The younger man pleads.
“I don’t see what else there is to discuss. Do you want to keep your job or not? You won’t get another opportunity from the agency, I can assure you. This was your last chance and it seems you’ve blown it.”
“What is it you want?” It’s your first time speaking and the career counselor’s eyes snap to your face.
“You seem to be having such a good time. I’d like to join in. Do you think Mike here would be willing to share?”
“Absolutely fucking not. You’re not laying a hand on her,” Mike growls, one hand tightening into a fist.
Steve chuckles softly. “That’s right, you’re fond of violence. Well, you’re welcome to try. We can add that to the list of charges against you. You’ll be facing jail time for certain.” He lifts the receiver off the hook and you reach out, your hands closing over his wrist.
“Wait. I’ll…I’ll do it,” you murmur reluctantly, feeling nausea twist your stomach.
The security guard stares at you in disbelief. “What? No. You’re not doing this. This wasn’t your fault. It was my idea. I’ll figure something else out. We’re leaving.”
“We have to. We don’t have a choice. We have to do it for Abby.” You release your grip on the older man who stares at you, cheeks dimpling as his grin widens.
“I like your girlfriend already, Mike. She’s caring, generous…and has a very fuckable body,” he concludes with a leer.
“You bastard.”
“I thought I was being kind by inviting you to be included in our activities. I can always just enjoy her alone.”
“Don’t leave me,” you plead, pressing your back against Mike.
“I won’t. I’m sorry,” he whispers against your ear. “I’ll try to get us out of this somehow…”
“Enough chatter. Let’s get down to business.” Steve steps closer, tipping your chin up so he can view your features. The light from the desk lamp glares across the lenses of his glasses, obscuring his eyes from your vision. He smooths a thumb over your bottom lip then bends to kiss you, his tongue intruding roughly into your mouth.
You struggle not to gag, trying not to think about what’s happening and who’s doing this to you, leaning your weight back against your boyfriend for some measure of comfort and reassurance. The older man’s beard is rough against your skin. You can smell cologne on him, something Mike has never worn, the clustered fragrances of bergamot and orange peel heavy in your nostrils.
The fact that your body is responding to the kiss makes it all much, much worse.
Steve clearly has had years of practice, and the experience shows. He lavs at your neck, catches your bottom lip with his teeth, sucks along your tongue and lets a thick trail of saliva descend from his mouth into yours. You feel a warmth blooming inside of you, your sex tingling and throbbing and you hate yourself for becoming aroused just from a kiss by this stranger.
Mike seems too shocked to do more than watch, cradling you against him, allowing the career counselor to take his time tasting his girlfriend’s cherry chapstick lined mouth before his hands begin exploring, snaking underneath your sweater to knead your breasts and roll and pinch your nipples. You can’t stifle a small moan, hear Mike’s breathing by your ear ratchet up. Initially you think it had been rapid from discovery and anger; now you wonder if it is from something else entirely.
“God you’re sweet,” Steve growls, shoving a hand into the waistband of your panties. His probing fingers stroke past your clit and dip between the folds, finding your body’s betrayal of slick arousal. He’s skilled at touching as well, adeptly alternating between stroking your bundle of nerve endings and fingering your entrance, dipping a little further inside each time, teasing you, eliciting another moan and a series of squelching sounds as his prodding disrupts more lubricating fluid from your body.
You can feel Mike’s erection pressing against you now; there’s no longer any doubt that he’s turned on by what’s happening, in spite of the circumstances.
You lean your head back, turning your face slightly. “Don’t think about him, think about me,” he whispers, his lips finding yours. He kisses you gently, wrapping his arms around your chest, trying to distract you from the other man’s presence.
The career counselor isn’t one to be ignored, however. He’s dropped to his knees, tugging down your panties and removing your sneakers before peeling off your jeans. “Why don’t you give me a hand here, Mike?” He tucks one of his own under your left knee, indicating he wants your boyfriend to hold it up so he has better access to your dripping pussy.
Your mouth goes slack and you moan when you feel the man’s tongue press against your clit, threading fingers through his salt and pepper hair as he buries his nose against your mound, his tongue thrusting between your lips and teasing your opening.
“Fuck…nnngh” You can’t help it. His mouth is too skilled, too fervent against your cunt. Mike’s breath is a harsh, unsteady rasp beside your cheek, his cock now being ground slightly against your ass cheeks.
“Fucking delicious.” Steve slurps your lips and sucks on your throbbing clit and the leg you’re standing on trembles violently. He redoubles his efforts and you know you’re going to cum, there’s no way to avoid it, it just feels too good having the older man eating you out so rapturously.
“Come on honey. Cum for me,” he urges, slipping a finger inside and curling it forward and that does it, you explode against his mouth and hand, the noise tearing from your throat one you don’t even recognize.
Mike relaxes his grip on your leg and you lower it shakily as the older man rises, gasping when Steve’s mouth covers yours again, offering you a taste of yourself. Your juices are all over his lips and beard and you find yourself lapping at them, all reason lost in the moment of the afterwaves of ultimate pleasure.
“I think Mike needs some assistance,” he suggests, stepping back and sliding the office chair beside you. “Maybe this will help. Sit down,” he instructs and you obey. He bends and grabs you by your ankles and tugs sharply, pulling you sideways so that your back is resting on the seat, your lower body splayed against his chest. There’s strength in that lean form; you think he could crush you with his bare hands. In this position, Mike’s crotch is now within easy reach of your mouth.
The dark haired young man hesitates, still hating what’s happening, glaring at the career counselor but unable to deny he wants relief as well. He combs his fingers through your hair, trying to bring some tenderness and intimacy back to the moments that have been stolen and invaded. He unzips his pants, withdrawing his erection, stroking it a few times before he presses it to your lips.
Your mouth engulfs the head of his cock, tasting precum as your tongue swipes across the opening.
“She can take more than that.” Steve watched raptly as you gag at the sudden intrusion when Mike follows the suggestion, perhaps hoping this will all end faster if you both just cooperate, or perhaps it’s his own desire; it’s hard to separate the two thoughts anymore, the line between what you’re being forced to endure and what you want to happen blurring.
The chair creaks as your head bobs, sliding over Mike’s cock. He groans at the sensation, the fingers once caressing your hair now knotting in it.
“Those lips were made for cocksucking. Fuck her mouth,” the older man encourages, his hands sliding over your legs and slipping between them stopping just shy of your center, teasing you. You can still feel your arousal leaking out of you as Mike thrusts harder into your mouth, straining your throat as he batters the muscle and bruises the cartilage.
“Better,” Steve says, abandoning his caresses to unzip his pants, stroking as he watches you perform for him. “But now I feel left out. Let’s get you over the desk, sweetheart.” Mike withdraws and the other man pulls you upright as easily as if you’re a rag doll, tugging you to your feet and then pushing you over the corner of the desk, so Mike can still reach your mouth and Steve now has access to your pussy. The thin padding of your sweater provides little cushioning for your breasts smashed against the steel surface. The older man slaps one ass cheek lightly, just enough to bring a little blossom of pink color, and then you feel a slight pressure as he lines himself up with your entrance.
You moan around Mikes member in surprise, realizing the career counselor’s prick is larger than what you’re accustomed to. He stretches your canal and your abdominal muscles tense, your vaginal walls clenching on the intruding organ.
“Christ, Mike, she’s tight,” he exhales, pushing until he reaches the hilt, completely sheathed within you. “Relax, honey.” He rubs a circle against your lower spine, calloused fingers dragging across soft skin. He pulls back and slides in once more, still surprisingly gentle, letting your body learn to accommodate him.
It’s distracting, difficult to focus between the sensations of your boyfriend’s cock in your mouth and the career counselor’s cock nestled in your pussy. You’re still revolted but the feeling is stifled beneath your arousal. You’ve never been so turned on in your life, would never have dreamt of being shared by two men at the same time. The fact that one of them is a stranger only heightens the experience.
“Good girl,” Steve praises as you begin to relax, moving with the rhythm of his lenient thrusts. He accelerates the pace, bucking into you harder, and you welcome the intrusion, your pelvis grinding back against him. You feel another orgasm building again.
Mike’s own climax is approaching, his breathing unsteady, his thrusts between the tight ring of your lips sloppier, more urgent. You suck harder, moaning around his length, accompanying the slapping sound of Steve’s body colliding with yours. Both men are cursing, battering at your openings from opposite ends. Your entire body feels like it is on fire, aching and hot, you need to cum, you need to make them cum…
Mike lets go first, spilling his seed onto your tongue, the warm, sour liquid pooling in your mouth. Steve follows soon after, his fingers bruising your hips as he explodes, dragging you right along with him. You moan and shake as you feel his cum spilling deep inside of you, filling you up.
There’s a pause while all three of you recover, breathing slowing, pulses descending, the tingling feeling in your limbs ebbing. You’re becoming acutely aware of how uncomfortable your position is and struggle to stand, finding your legs shaky, surprised when it’s Steve this time that supports you from behind, his lips nuzzling your throat when he smiles.
Mike curses, fumbling with the opening of his pants. He glares daggers at the career counselor, bending to gather your discarded clothing and pressing it into your arms.
“Are you ok?” He asks, attempting to tuck back a stray strand of hair from your face. “That’s enough. Get your hands off of her.”
“If that’s what the lady wants, sure.” Steve says placidly, unperturbed. “Is that what you want?” He asks against your ear.
“Yes,” you murmur, not sure if that’s what you really want at all.
“Alright.” He shifts, his warmth and touch abandoning your body.
“This is it, then. We did what you wanted. I get to keep my job and you keep your mouth closed. Agreed?”
“Of course. I’m a man of my word.” Steve grins again, straightening his clothing, glancing at you and sighing wistfully. “Although I wouldn’t mind another round sometime. Just to, you know…ensure my silence, as it were.” His pale eyes meet yours and you shudder, looking away hurriedly.
“As if that’s going to fucking happen.” Mike shakes his head. “I’ll walk you to the door.”
“No need. I know the way. You can watch the cameras if you don’t trust I’m actually departing. You know, like you were supposed to be doing anyway.” His eyes meet yours a final time. “It was a real pleasure to meet you. If you change your mind about the offer, Mike knows where to find me,” the older man says over his shoulder as he walks away.

Steve didn't receive many gifts as a child.
The only one he remembers from any of his family as a kid besides the odd birthday card, was a stuffed rabbit from his grandmother. The only toy he wanted to save when his father told him to grow up, the rabbit that protected him from his dad on bad nights.
As he grew up and the birthday cards faded to a stop it didn't matter that his parents forgot his birthday since he had a new family.
For his 18th birthday Nancy had given him a cookbook and taught him everything her mom had taught her.
For his 19th birthday Dustin had given him his own walkie, claiming his was officially a party member.
Lucas had given him a basketball that all the kids had signed and decorated.
Will had given him a drawing of him as a knight with a nail bat instead of a sword.
Mike had given him a hug, which was out of place for the younger Wheeler but Steve treasured it all the same.
El had also given him a drawing, clearly without Will's help, of him and the party as stick figures but he could tell who everyone was.
Max had given him a piece of paper as well, he almost cried when he saw it was a handdrawn fake adoption certificate with parent scribbled out and brother written instead.
Hopper had him a silly little badge that they gave to kids at the station that said junior deputy and the best fatherly hug he'd ever gotten.
Joyce had baked him the first birthday cake he'd ever gotten.
For his 20th birthday Robin had called him a dingus and handed him a soft yellow sweater and promised that this one she wouldn't steal. Steve rarely took it off so she wasn't given much chance to anyway.
On his 21st birthday Eddie had kissed him for the first time.
For his 50th birthday Eddie gave him a ring, he'd already given him forever.
Steve may not have gotten many gifts as a child, but as he grew his family would fill him with love and that was the best gift of all.

part one ♡ part three
pairings: stalker! mike x victim! reader
warnings: stalking, obsession, mike’s a cuck, pregnancy test, framed robbery, stolen underwear n laptop, reader’s a slvt
a/n: heyyyy y’all long time no see
Tumblr media
♡ cramps. bloating. cravings. hell. you assumed that your period was close, but weeks have passed and not even a bit brown appeared on your pad. you sat on the bathroom floor, your hands anxiously twirling your hair as your best friend comforted you.
♡ “babe, it’s okay! you used protection, right?”
♡ you shamefully put your face in your hands, “when i had condoms, yeah…”
♡ she stops checking herself out in the mirror to look at you in disbelief, “what about pulling out?”
♡ “plan b exists for a reason!” you whisper-yelled.
♡ “so do condoms, dummy.” at first, her eyebrows were furrowed, but then she stopped when she realized how anxious you were. “i’m still here for you, even when you do dumb things.” she gives you a comforting smile while squeezing your hand.
♡ you smile back, and when you’re about to reply the alarm cuts you off. “you flip it!” you squeak, burying your face in the stuffed animal you brought for emotional support. you held your breath as she flipped the test.
♡ “bunny… i'm sorry." she shows you the test. the blue letters you dreaded. “positive”.
Tumblr media
♡ your best friend leaves hours later, leaving you alone as you lay in bed.
you: how much do abortions cost
her: abortions r like 800 but i can split with you
you: that’s still like 400000000!!!
her: 400.
u know i love u tho and would spend more than 800 for u! <3

♡ you toss your phone away, pulling out your laptop to watch a movie as you get comfy in bed. wait- where the fuck is your laptop?
Tumblr media
♡ it’s been two weeks since mike took advantage of his princess, how could he not? you looked so pretty and you did owe him one and you- whatever. besides using your blacked-out body, he also took a souvenir. he thanked god that you used icloud, looking over your gallery as his hands were down his jeans. he swears, once you’re his, you won’t be a whore for all these braindead men, only his. he still enjoyed seeing your pretty pics of cum on your face, tongue sticking out, and runny mascara though...
♡ another one of his favorites was you in a mini skirt, bent over to show your pretty pink panties. he held those same panties in his hand as he stroked his cock against it, going painfully slow to be able to admire your body fully. he tried so desperately to go slow so his mind wouldn’t get so fuzzy, but he couldn’t help it when he had so many pics of you in lewd positions and angles. pathetically cumming into the lacey fabric, his chest heaving as he tried to breathe, the pleasure was so much that he had to hold his breath.
♡ ding! he squinted his eyes to focus on the message from your best friend, “abortions r like 800 but i can split with you”
♡ he wipes his hand on his jeans to click on the notification, reading your messages. “she’s.. she’s pregnant..” he muttered, his breathing picking up again. “abortion? fuck fuck fuck, no!” he yelled out, running his “clean” hand through his curls in disbelief. he got up from his bed, pacing back and forth, trying to figure out how to stop you.
Tumblr media
♡ it was one of mike’s favorite parts of the day, he stood by your favorite store as he pretended to be doing his job. his walkie-talkie occasionally turning on and the person on the other side requesting for a guard or announcing that someone was caught stealing.
♡ never you, though. his perfect princess would never steal, so it really killed him to do this. as you entered the store, you paid no mind to mike. you looked through the rack of clothes, focused on finding something good while mike sneaked in a pair of earrings into your purse. he pretended to look around for anything “suspicious” before leaving the store, smiling to himself that he had the guts to do that. eventhohebrokeintoyourroomliketwoweeksago
Tumblr media
♡ retail therapy was obviously needed because of the night before, your shoulders felt less tense after paying for your new tops. you happily left the store but stopped in your tracks when the alarm went off.
♡ a security guard walked up to you, his eyebrows already furrowed as he put his hand out. you shakily handed him the receipt, tears already threatening to spill, the hormones making you 10x more sensitive. he looks over the receipt and your shopping bag, then he points at your purse. “i’m going to have to check your bag, ma’am.”
♡ you willingly gave him your purse, just wanting to get over it. your heart drops when he pulls out a pair of hoops, “i-i swear i didn’t put them there!”
♡ “then who did, bitch?-” he asked, but mike's voice quickly followed after him.
♡ “it's fine, steve. i got this, you go take your lunch break.” mike looks at the man with a “sincere” smile.
♡ steve scoffs and backs up from the two of you, giving him a ‘are you serious?’ look, before leaving to the food court.
♡ you let out a breath that you didn't even know you were holding in. “thank you-” you read his name tag, “mike!” you smile up at him with flushed cheeks and teary eyes.
♡ “no need to thank me, i just really hate the new hires. they’re suck dicks.” his heart skipped a beat when you said his name, he tried so hard not to stutter but the blush on his cheeks said it all.
♡ “no seriously! he looked like he was going to kill me!” you let out a laugh of relief. “how can i repay you, mikey?
♡ mikey. his very own nickname from you. he almost died. “no no! you don’t need to. i promise.” he looks down at you as he gives you the sweetest smile ever. no one else makes him smile like you do
♡ you playfully hit his arm, biting your lip slowly as you giggled, “c’mon, pleeeasseeee?”
♡ are you flirting? his cheeks flushed even more at the thought… after a couple of minutes of chatting, mike's walkie-talkie turns on.
♡ “mike. imma need you to come to zumiez, some dude was trying to steal a beanie and he’s putting up a fight.”
♡ his heart drops and he looks at you shyly, “before i leave.. could i get your number?” of course he already had it, but he wanted to hear the numbers come out of your mouth.
♡ “mhm, call me if you ever need anything. i owe you, mikey….” you kiss his cheek before leaving.
♡ he holds his cheek in awe as you leave, finally, you’re going to have a man that treats you right… not like the other dickheads.

Tumblr media
Pairing: Eddie x F!Reader
Summary: One night you hear a noise and go to check, finding your neighbor talking to stray cats.
Warnings: a bit of fluff
Tumblr media
It was late at night, but since you couldn't sleep, you were sitting on the picnic table in front of the trailer where you lived with your family.
Looking up to the sky you could see stars shining in the sky and some bats flying in circles.
You had always liked night and the calm atmosphere that created when everyone went to sleep and silence fell, you felt more at ease at night.
Just as you were about to go back inside, you heard a voice coming from behind one of the trailers. The Munson trailer, you recognized.
You and Eddie were in same math class but he'd only shown up twice since the beginning of the year, he'd taken a seat at the back of the class and you were pretty sure he'd spent the entire hour doing something else than paying attention.
Drawing, reading or preparing the next D&D campaign, maybe.
You'd never talked to Eddie, even though he was friends with Dustin and Mike, the kids you had babysat for years when they were younger, and even though he lived only a few feet away from you, but not for the same reason that most people at school didn't.
You knew what they said about him, that he was the leader of a satanic cult, that he made human sacrifices and that he was a "freak" but you never really believed it. Mostly because you were sure Dustin wasn't part of a cult but also because Eddie seemed like a good guy despite what everyone else at school (and in all Hawkings) thought.
Dustin once told you that Eddie was one of the only people who was nice to him at school, besides you.
You jumped off the table and headed for the source of the sound. You put a hand against the wall of the trailer and peered behind it to see what was going on.
The scene you faced was honestly some of the cutest shit I've seen in your entire life.
Eddie was sitting on the ground, lit by the dim light from a streetlight not far from him, a black and white cat was clambering onto his lap as Eddie ran his ringed fingers through its fur with a grin on his face.
He wore a red flannel shirt, the sleeves rolled up to the elbows showing the tattoos on his arms, and dark jeans.
His hair fell to the sides of his face as he leaned towards the cat, clearly he hadn't heard or seen you coming.
"Hey sweety" he said while the cat was purring "I'm sorry but today for you I only have some pizza crusts, tomorrow morning I'll bring you something else okay?"
You noticed the plastic plate containing the remains of what had probably been Eddie's dinner lying on the ground. In that moment another cat popped out from behind Eddie's back and rubbed against his arm emitting a soft "meow".
That one was much smaller than the other, he couldn't have been more than a few months old. The fur on its ears was so long for such a small cat that it looked like he had a pair of little horns.
“Hi to you too,” Eddie chuckled as his other hand stroked the space between its ears.
You didn't even realize you were standing there and watching the scene with a stupid smile on your lips.
The way a person treats animals says so much about them and at that moment Eddie was telling you that he were the least scary person on the face of the earth. And that he was sweet.
"That's cute." You said, finally getting his attention.
Eddie's head snapped in your direction and he suddenly leapt to his feet, nearly knocking the orange cat off his knees.
"Hey, uhm...I...." He stammered scratching the back of his head with one hand, almost as if he was embarrassed.
Oh. Was Eddie Munson embarrassed?
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I heard a sound and came to see what was going on." You explained and he just nodded like a kid caught stealing candy.
"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone that the tough and metal Eddie Munson talks to cats." You added, and when he looked up and saw you laughing, he did the same.
The black and white cat walked towards you and rubbed against your leg. You crouched down to pet it.
"They don't have a house, or a family" Eddie explained. "And so they have no food. These two aren't the only ones, I know there are at least four others in this area. I try to leave as much food as possible back here but a lot of times I don't have enough for all of them."
They don't have a house, or a family, he tought. They were a bit like him, maybe that was why he cared so much for them.
When you took your hand away from the cat, he pushed his muzzle back against it. Eddie chuckled and you realized you liked the sound of his laugh.
"That's very nice of you. Do they have names?"
"I call her Ozzy." He said pointing to the cat next to you.
The black spots around the cat's eyes really looked like the dark glasses the Black Sabbath singer always wore, you realized.
Her name was spot on.
"And this is Angus" He nodded at the smaller cat who approached you and sniffed your hand reluctantly.
"Hi Angus." You said as he nibbled on your finger.
Eddie laughed as you tried to take your hand away from him.
"You have such cute little horns" you talked to the kitten, "And you're almost as small as the real Angus."
Eddie's face basically lit up. "There's no way you got the reference!"
"Ozzy Osbourne with his glasses and Angus Young with horns and his small stature? Try something harder."
If it was possible, Eddie smiled even more. "I didn't know you liked that kind of music."
"There are many things you don't know about me. We've never talked before." You said.
"Well, I'd like to do it more from now on. You're not what I thought." He confessed.
"And what did you think?" You asked.
"That you were like the others at school. But you're not." He said. Henderson wasn't wrong about you, after all.
"Did you think I was like the cheerledears? Should I be offended?" You asked, but your tone was playful. "Do you think they would dress like this?" You pointed to the ripped jeans that you had quickly put on before going out that night and the boots that you hadn't even zipped up.
He raised his hands in apology. "I humbly apologize, m'lady. Even the best make mistakes sometimes."
You laughed. "Well, you are as I thought." You said.
"Scary?" He asked, his voice changed slightly in tone. Most people think that of him at school. And not just at school. He knew how even in town people talked about him and sometimes he just pretended he didn't care about it.
You shook your head. "A good person."
The smile on his lips was back.
That's not metal. That's not metal at all, Eddie thought.
He'd been caught talking to cats, and now he was smiling like a stupid at a girl he barely knew.
No, definitely not metal. But that didn't stop him.
You stood up picking up Ozzy who was still on top of you and deposited her on the ground.
"I think we should go to sleep now. It must be almost 1 a.m." You announced as you watched the cats approach the plate of pizza crusts.
Eddie looked at the watch on his wrist. "Yeah, you're probably right."
"Well, then... see you in math class, if you'll ever decide to show up."
"Maybe, sooner or later." he shrugged. "Goodnight, Y/N."
"Night, Eddie." You walked up to your trailer and Eddie followed you with his eyes, you gave him one last look to see he was still smiling slightly, before going back inside.
That night, in your bed, the last thing on your mind before falling asleep was: you heard Eddie Munson call a cat "sweety".
In his bed Eddie thought maybe now he had a good reason to show up for math class.

☆ random thoughts about what i think being in a relationship with mike would be like :
a/n : no gender specified, no y/n + no mentions of the actual movie plot
he’s actually pretty quick to open up after the first couple of dates. i think he would want you to know his situation as soon as possible and understand what you might be getting yourself into if the relationship has any chance of becoming long term.
he also does it for abby’s sake, he doesn’t want you to meet her and accidentally say the wrong thing, or be surprised by their situation so much that you get scared off, leaving poor abby confused.
likes watching horror movies, but only over the top, borderline goofy ones (i.e. nightmare on elm street, child’s play, gremlins, signs). he gets fidgety and even anxious during any where the antagonist is human, some might hit a bit too close to home.
cheesy low budget slashers have a pass. the acting is bad enough and the plot is predictable enough to keep him entertained but not lead him to spiral. those and again, goofy ones are when he pulls out the “here, i’ll protect you” move about fifteen minutes in, of course just wanting an excuse to hold you.
he’s the worst at grocery shopping. he always goes when he’s hungry which leads to too many snacks and frozen meals. and as much as you love the convenience, you know he and abby can’t live like this. which leads to you pushing the cart around while he holds the list you made and grumbles things like “when are we even going to eat rice?” and “i don’t need all of these vegetables, they’re just going to go bad.”
in the end, he’s grateful. and abby is too now that you introduced them to the world of easy to make side dishes.
stealing his clothes duh!! he could groan about how he’d been looking for that hoodie or his sweatpants and sometimes even socks (yes even the ones with the holes in them) but at the end of the day he’ll allow it because he loves the way his clothes look on you, and you love smelling like him.
like i mentioned earlier, he lives for touch. it’s something he didn’t know he was missing until he met you. then it’s all he wants when he’s around you. it can be you running a hand through his hair, or him pulling your back into his chest with an arm around your shoulder.
he loves forehead touching. he loves it when you do it as a way to cheer him up, making a silly face, causing him to pull away and giggle into your neck. he loves it on late nights where he’s just woken up from another bad dream and you do it to calm him down, allowing him to match his breath with yours. he loves it after a moment of passion, and as he stares into your eyes all he sees staring back is pure adoration. it’s the intimacy in the close proximity that he never gets tired of.
he has a temper but it’s hard to blame him. it comes from a place of anxiety, where any high stress situation causes a fight or flight response in him. he hates it about himself, and even after you forgive him after an argument for snapping at you or abby or for shutting you out at a time when he shouldn’t, he still kicks himself for it.
abby usually taking your side in debates just to spite her brother. even if its about something she has no knowledge about, you're in the right! which usually leads to mike jokingly mumbling about how much she likes you more than him.
finally, date nights!!! and as much as mike likes the idea of going out for drinks or for dinner and a movie, he and his wallet favor a more intimate night in at his home. these kinds of dates are few and far between, since its hard for mike to find someone he trusts enough to send abby away with. but on the rare chance that she gets invited to a friends slumber party just a block over, he takes it and spends the night drinking and laughing with you over a plate of your guys' favorite take out orders.

hope you enjoyed! ☆ requests are open btw

one day st tumblr will hopefully learn that they do not in fact need to shove every character into neat little boxes and archetypes that are completely separate from eachother and cant overlap but today is not that day. some of you guys will die of shock when you realize that more than one character can be mentally ill or sad or abused in the same show and even that those characters are often paralleled to eachother. max and mike can both be depressed over different things, to different degrees, and display it in different ways and they can also have some shared stuff there too/some parallels. same goes for chrissy and mike re: eating disorders. same goes for will and henry re: sexual assault. it’s not “stealing” from another character to point out the content of the show & to demonstrate shared behaviours/parallels between characters & its not stealing for more than one character to have A Problem.
like, so many people on here are SO fixated on cramming every single character into a neat little box and getting mad over anyone pointing out overlap with other characters because then that supposedly takes away from Their Pookie’s Special Victimhood And Specialness. Will’s trauma is not lessened simply because Mike has emotions and trauma too. Max’s trauma is not lessened simply because Mike has emotions and trauma too.
And also the “mike has no trauma” takes are insane to me because even if the wheelers WERE the most supportive and emotionally healthy family ever (which they’re not), the events of season 1 ALONE were traumatizing as hell. let alone all of the other seasons. like. Some of you are so neck deep in trying to maintain your fave as being The Only Traumatized One or The Only Depressed One that you expect a literal child to be able to cope perfectly with watching people die in front of him and all of the other 517384844 horrifying things that happen in ST.

Sounds of sleep
Tumblr media
Steve Harrington x female!Henderson!Reader
Summary: Reader and Steve spend a Friday night “babysitting” and they all end up falling asleep in the living room, only, nobody can get any sleep because Steve is snoring incredibly loud... Except for reader, who's completely used to it
Warnings: swearing, implied smut (but not really)
Tumblr media
“For fucks sake Dustin, you’re supposed to share the chips!”
“Can you not curse in front of my brother?”
“You’re aware your brother curses more than I do, right?”
(y/n) rolled her eyes even knowing Steve was right.
“Just don’t tell my mom that, she thinks he’s a saint.”
“Copy that.”
It was Friday night, and after a lot of begging from Dustin, who insisted on having the party’s casual sleepover at his house that week, (y/n) was a spilled soda away from regretting not saying no to their mom. Ms. Henderson went to spend the night at a friend’s house and although she was okay with having her son’s friends over, she was paranoid about them being left alone, and the poor sweet woman didn’t have the heart to say no to Dustin’s innocent toothless smile so the only way to put her mind at ease was to ask her oldest child to stay home and take care of them. It wasn’t worth it trying to fight the woman on that, (y/n) was mad about having to cancel her plans with Robin and Nancy, a girls night they had been planning for so long because the three girls were always busy and their schedules very rarely conjugated with each other, but she had the next best thing to make her night less sufferable: Steve Harrington, her best friend and now apparently also Dustin’s best friend, a fact she was still trying to accept.
Not that (y/n) despised how her little brother could so easily steal Steve’s attention from her, she honestly thought it was adorable to see the lady’s man show his soft spot for the kids, she was just still getting used to the fact she no longer could have him all to herself when he was over. But what enraged her the most, in a nice but painful way,  was how all of that just added to (y/n)’s growing romantic feelings for Steve.
So, aside the chaos Dustin, Mike, Lucas and Will installed in the house while Max and El looked at them probably wondering how and why they were friends with them, (y/n) was happy to have Steve there with her and for getting to spend time with him, dismissing the fact she would end up sharing him after all.
“Alright, guys, the snacks have to last all night, okay?” (y/n) tried her best to put authority in her voice but the only people who seemed to listen to her were Will, El and Max, “Dustin, you heard me?”
“Yeah, I did, but you could’ve bought more chips, you know?”
“Yeah, well, eight bags was the best I could do.”
“Steve bought ten last time.” Lucas pointed out, earning a non threatening death glare from (y/n).
“(y/n)’s in charge this time so if you shitheads could please do as she says that would be great.” Steve intervened, even though he knew the boys appreciated the effort the older Henderson was putting into their movie night, he knew there was so much his best friend could take from their jokes and teasing before she snapped. He felt bad already for her for canceling her girls night, so he would do his best to make sure she had the best time possible.
(y/n) thanked Steve, a ping of annoyance in her tone, and turned around to go get another bag of chips and prepare the popcorn bowls. The boy followed her to the kitchen to help her.
“You okay?” he asked, studying her unreadable features.
Without looking at Steve, (y/n) answered, “Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?”
“I don’t know, maybe because you had to play babysitter on your only day off this week when you already had plans?”
“You make it sound like it’s torture to look after my little brother.” she chuckled.
“I’m not saying that,” he squeezed her shoulders in comfort and he had to hold back a curse when he felt the built up tension in her muscles, “you were so excited to finally have some free time to be with your friends and fuck, you deserve to have fun and rest once in a while too, you know?”
“And I get to rest tonight, we’re watching a movie.”
“Okay, fine, whatever.” defeated, Steve’s hands kept moving over (y/n)’s shoulders and when he heard her groan, he moved his movements to the back of her neck, “I’m just saying, you don’t have to pretend you’re not tired as hell. I’m here, I can look after the kids for you, I do that pretty much everyday already, it’s no big deal.” he kissed the top of her head, “You can go rest.”
(y/n) sighed. She knew he was right. She had been anticipating that night for so long and now she couldn’t have it. But what Steve didn’t know, and (y/n) wasn’t exactly planning on telling him that, was that his company, just him being there and, oh God, him touching her like that was almost as good, if not better, than her canceled plans.
“You just want the popcorn all to yourself, admit it.” she joked, turning around and pinching his belly. Steve smiled and pinched her back.
“Yup, you got me.”
“Come on,” (y/n) grabbed the bag of chips with one hand and two cans of Coke with the other and waited for Steve to get the bowls of popcorn, “let’s crash their party.”
..
“Okay so,” Max started, removing the pillow from her head that she was using to cover her ears, “any volunteer to suffocate Steve with this pillow or can I go?”
“He’s annoying even when he’s sleeping.” Mike added, rubbing his sleepy eyes.
“How is (y/n) sleeping so peacefully?” Lucas pointed at the girl serving as a pillow to the owner of the loud snoring that, to everyone’s surprise, didn’t seem to be bothering (y/n) one bit.
They had gotten their sleeping bags, pillows and a ridiculous amount of blankets (y/n) insisted were not necessary ready before starting the movies, agreeing that someone would probably end up falling asleep earlier and it was easier if they all just crashed together in the living room. (y/n) and Steve weren’t planning on going all the way to the end of the movie marathon so they took the couch, but apparently it ended up being way too comfortable, especially with how tired (y/n) was, because the pair were the first ones to get knocked out. And if there was any doubt if they were actually sleeping or not, Steve’s loud snores gave away the answer.
“They sleep together all the time, she’s probably used to it.” Dustin explained with his eyes closed, almost as if he was forcing himself to fall asleep. Silence followed after what he said which led him to open one eye to see why everybody went quiet.
“I don’t remember Steve mentioning he and (y/n) were dating.” Max spoke, “I mean, I always expected to go deaf from hearing him talk about his girlfriend whenever he finally got one.”
“He already talks about her all the time though.” Will added and the others nodded in agreement.
“Oh they’re not dating.” Dustin clarified, but he was well aware both his sister and his friend were dying to get together. Their pining over each other was noticeable to everyone, even the kids, except for the both of them, “Steve just sleeps over all the time and he sleeps in (y/n)’s room.”
“And your mom lets him?” Mike asked, impressed that Ms. Henderson would allow a boy to stay over, and in the same room as her daughter, when he had witnessed his mom flip so many times when she suspected a male presence in Nancy’s room. And he couldn’t forget all the threats he received from Hopper everytime he went to see El.
“(y/n) can be very persuasive, and my mom,” he kissed his fingers and pointed them to the roof, “bless her innocent soul, falls for it every time. And come on, we all know the effect this bastard”, he pointed at Steve, “somehow has on women and I guess my mom is no exception. Like I said, bless her innocent soul.”
“I think they’re cute.” El commented, smiling in admiration as she looked at the way Steve had his head on (y/n)’s shoulder and cradled her arm like a plushie, and her head rested on top of his and her hand was resting on his tight.
“It would be even cuter if Steve wasn’t shaking the roof with those pig noises.” Max complained and layed back down, this time using two pillows to cover her ears.
“Just wake him up.” Lucas told Dustin, who immediately refused.
“No way I’m risking my life waking him up.”
“Then wake up your sister and she’ll do it.” Mike suggested before letting out a long yawn.
Dustin sighed and crawled to his sister. He shook her knee in an urgent way, as if desperate to end the torture that was Steve’s sleeping sounds. (y/n) stirred a bit and snuggled more against her best friend while letting out a lazy What?.
“Steve’s snoring.”
“I know.” she replied, not bothering to open her eyes.
“Wake him up!”
“Why?”
“Because we want to sleep and we can’t!”
(y/n) groaned in annoyance and finally opened her eyes in a roll at her brother.
She carefully lifted Steve’s head from her shoulder and pinched his cheek.
“Hey, idiot.” she called, “Wake up.”
The boy groaned and, like (y/n) did earlier, the only movement he did was snuggle more into her.
“Come on, let’s go to my room.” she patted his tight the best she could considering Steve was still holding onto her arm.
He replied something along the lines of Fine, at least it was what (y/n) could make out from his muffled voice against her shoulder.
The two got up, one a bit less tired than the other, and made their way to (y/n)’s room.
“Goodnight children.” she said with her back turned to them, a tired Steve following her as he waved to the kids, more asleep than awake.
As (y/n) closed the door to her room, she almost jumped at the sound of Steve plopping down on her bed, who groaned with the impact.
“Hey, don’t be taking up the whole bed.” she complained with a smile on her face.
“As if you wouldn’t totally sleep on top of me.”
(y/n) wasn’t sure in what way he meant that, but she wouldn’t deny either option. Not out loud, of course, if there was something she refused to do around her best friend was build up his ego even more. And, of course, let him know that he did have an effect on her. The Steve Harrington effect. But what was so special about her situation was that she knew she got to see a side of him no other girl in Hawkins had, and there was a very specific type of charm Steve had reserved just for (y/n), because no other girl in that cursed town had the same effect on him that she had. They shared a mutual fixation for each other, and whether they acknowledged it or not, it was undeniable.
“I think it’s the other way around, Harrington.”
“I won’t deny that.” Steve turned on his back and finally made some space over the sheets for (y/n) to lay down. But not that much, because he was serious about wanting her on top of him, and he made it known by opening and stretching his arms so she could crawl between them.
(y/n) did so with no hesitation or remark, it wasn’t known if it was her sleepy brain or her tingling heart that made her lay down on his chest with such ease, like it was routine. Which it was. The sensation of Steve’s arms holding her tight, their chests pressed against one another with their breathing in sync, their legs getting more tangled the more time passed, the more they couldn’t get enough of the proximity that always felt too much even when not even a breeze could pass between their bodies.
“Thank you for coming tonight.” (y/n) spoke after a few long minutes in silence.
“You don’t ever have to thank me for coming to the rescue.” Steve readjusted himself a bit so he could turn on his side and face her, “And you sure don’t have to thank me for coming to hang out with you, that’s like, the best part of my days.” he smiled.
“You’re so corny when you’re sleepy.”
“Actually I’m corny all the time,” he kissed her forehead, “and it’s all your fault just so you know.”
“Oh really now?” (y/n) chuckled, hiding her face in the confined space between his neck and shoulder.
“Yeah, really.” Steve smiled widely at the way her breath tickled his skin and he couldn’t help but squeeze her body impossibly closer to his and he felt this urge to kiss her all over. So he started with moving his head down to kiss her on the cheek, then her jaw, neck, until he reached the collar of her sweater and moved back up to her temple, allowing his lips to linger there. For a second he second guessed if that was okay, if maybe he was crossing a line, but then (y/n)’s hand crawled up from between their bodies and held his jaw, her thumb caressing his cheekbone. Steve pressed his face closer to her touch, which led to his other cheek to press against hers and he felt a fiery chill in his chest when he realized how close their mouths were.
They stayed like that for a minute, both waiting to see who would make the move first. (y/n) did, the only thing going through her mind being fuck it, I need him. But before she closed the only inch separating their lips, she met his gaze, confident but nervous enough to not want to ruin anything, so she asked the silent question and a tug at her waist and the way Steve’s dilated pupils stared back at her was the answer she needed.
The kiss started slowly, a testing of the waters, a reality check. Then Steve gently pushed (y/n) on her back and his hands started to explore her hips and waist under her sweater at the same time his tongue passed through their lips. At a bite of his bottom lip, (y/n) caressed his back as she lifted Steve’s shirt and a groan left his lips. Taking a much needed break from the kiss to remove the piece of clothing, the boy looked down at his best friend and did the same to her sweater.
“Is this… okay? Like, should we be doing this?” he asked, his uncertain question not being a match to his actions. His lips attached to her collarbone and his hands crawling under her to reach her back making it hard for (y/n) to concentrate on what he was saying.
“We don’t have to if you don’t want to.”
“No, no, I want to. Fuck, I want to, just…” Steve looked at her.
“We can talk about it later.” (y/n) suggested, not too worried about the aftermath of what was about to happen. It was something both knew was going to happen sooner or later.
“Yeah. Yeah, okay.”
“Just…” she pushed him a bit, indicating for him to lay down, “stay quiet, you don’t wanna wake up the kids again.”
(y/n) positioned herself on top of him, leaning down to go back to kissing him while her fingers followed the trail of hair from his chest to his stomach.
“I’ll do my best.”

author’s note: So, this is my debut writing for Stranger Thing, so please go easy on me. I hope I did Steve Harrington justice, I haven’t written in a long time, this is my comeback (and with a new fandom) so this isn’t my best work but I had so much fun writing this and I hope you had fun reading it! Any feedback and (nice) constructive criticism is welcome 🥰
