HAPPY FFWAD!!! Thank you @renegadepublishing for putting on this event in celebration!
More on the process below the cut!
I'm so excited to be posting this book! Super grateful @drgrlfriend was so down to let me bind Windows for Fan Fiction Writer Appreciation Day. This is one of my all-time favs, and I was thrilled to give it the treatment it deserves! @maichan808 & @andavs-main were also incredibly kind to allow me to include their stunning art pieces in the book <3 And thank you @renegadepublishing for putting this event together!
I wanted the typeset to be visually interesting and move around the page, without making it difficult to read. I created unique headers for each of the 28 chapters with royalty free art, and varied placement on the page in six different configurations. I also played with the text warp to make the text work as part of the image - one of my favorites is chapter 26, "Banshee", pictured above!
I used Brick duo for this bind, as part of the vision for the front cover, which was done in silver permanent vinyl. I think the rich rust color is perfect for how I would imagine Stiles & Derek's apartment building, and the silver is incredibly reflective - my favorite part is how the vinyl catches the light on the spine, and can reflect "Windows" on whatever surface it's on (pictured above). That's not an added effect, it's just doing that!
I did @tankbredgrunt's faux double-core headband with some Sulky Gutermann I bought at a secondhand store for $0.25, and it's so pretty! A bit thin to work with, but totally worth it for the multi-color effect it gives off.
And I finally got a proper crisp hinge! I think it really brings the whole book together, thank you knitting needles (even though you were a pain in the ass).
This project also marks my 100th book! I'm rapidly approaching the two year mark of my fanbinding career with no sign of stopping; thank you to this entire community, and all of the fandoms I've been able to bring this hobby to. I love how cross-fandom it is; and for an old floater like me, it's wonderful to bring all of my interests together and have something that transcends those lines.
HAPPY FAN FICTION WRITER APPRECIATION DAY!

Bound: The Man Who Lived by sebastianL
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, this was a labor of love!
I have so much to say about this bind.
I had the idea to incorporate two themes visually in this bind - watercolor flowers (for Draco's tattoos) and New York (where he lives). I bought a set of graphics off etsy (much like I did for Grounds for Divorce and lemons) and went to town with them.
There are 42 chapters in this fic, and each chapter page has one more flower, so by the last chapter, well, there are a lot of flowers.
I wanted these pages to be more vibrant, but when I printed them, the color was bleeding through to the other side, so I had to lower the opacity on them. If this had been a shorter fic, I would have just used 26lb paper instead of 20lb, but at 685 pages, that was not an option. 😅
As it was, it baaaaarely fit under the blade of my guillotine. I definitely won't be able to trim text blocks longer than this.
The skyline was also used a lot, even though it's the Manhattan skyline and technically Draco lives in Brooklyn but let's just call it artistic license.
The end papers are a collage of the flowers, which I then printed the skyline over with my laser printer, then foiled that.
(And let me say that my insistence on printing color pages on my inkjet and b/w pages on my laser printer meant this took forever to print and resulted in many messed up pages. I should just print the whole dang thing in inkjet. But it would take 10,000 years.)
I had a really hard time coming up with a concept for the cover. Or, rather, figuring out how to execute the concept I had in mind. Finally I remembered I had some iron on printable paper, so I printed the flower design, then cut the skyline out of it. But the paper wasn't wide enough to cover the whole front and back of the book, so on the back I had it transition into just the flowers.
Overall, I'm very very happy with how this bind came out. I love it.
Body Font: Garamond Premier Inside title page: Fino Cover: Capitol Capitals
P.S. Draco and I have similar tattoos (watercolor flowers) so that might be why I went in this direction. Who can say?
P.S.S. Honestly, as much as I love this bind, the best way to experience this fic is via the incredible podfic (25 hours!) by @thirdeye1234.

Happy Halloween! Have a book:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Siren's Song by @kedreeva (Hi! I asked to bind your fic months ago, sorry it took so long XD). It's an incredible Good Omens siren AU, which needs no introduction from me but it gets one anyway. It's one of the most in-character fics I've ever read, tackles a lot of the most resonant themes of the original (love in the context of aromanticism and asexuality, human labels in the context of non-human perspective), and has incredible world-building. Later parts of the fic always make me cry but they're good tears. You'll see. When I first learned that fanbinding was a thing and started looking into how to do it, this was one of the first fics I thought of. It just took me a while to learn the skills I needed before I could do it.
More pics and process talk under the cut!
So the cover up there is black faux leather and momi paper that I bought...about two years ago? And just kept on hand till I was ready to do this project. This is the first time I've worked with it and it was fairly nice, though harder to get a nice crease into than lokta or chiyogami. It felt very fragile when I was handling it but I didn't have any issues with tearing or glue bleed-through like I thought I might. It did bleed some color when I got it damp with the glue, and it took way longer to dry than normal, but once that was done it's been fine. Which is nice because I have a lot left over, so it'll probably be making many future appearances in my binds.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look! It's rounded! I got a backing setup recently and this is my first time using it. It was Very Hard and I am not very good at it yet. But I think it looks pretty good for a first attempt, and there was really no other way to mitigate the spine swell on this one. I used a thick paper so I've got a thick book. I also tried something new with the case, though it isn't visible. Usually I make the text block and the case separately and then attach them as the last step, but for this one I actually built the case around the text. Like, boards attached to mull/tapes (sandwiched between thinner boards, with grooves cut for them so there are no bulges), then covered with momi, then leather corners and spine, then paste down the endpaper. It's got an oxford hollow, too! The tapes and mull actually wrap around the outside of the boards instead of the inside like I've done before. Endpapers are my favorite feather chiyogami. Combined with the marbled momi they make for a very opulent look, and I had just barely enough to do this. Like, down to the millimeter. I had to trim the edges and then glue the endpapers after to be sure they were right. I'm glad they were, because I didn't have a backup plan. Handmade endbands, colors picked to match the cover. Also, last note, I got the corner bits right for the first time. Measured properly, with no weird pointy bits that come out at funny angles. Very proud.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Title page and bookmark/interior shot. Did you know that some basic fonts in MS Word look different when you use a huge font size? Because I didn't until I made this title page. That's Parchment for the title, and it only gets those swirly bits around the capital letters if you take it to 26pt or higher (I used 72 here). Now I wonder if any of the other fonts have easter eggs in them like that. The ribbon is very fancy, to go along with the rich endpaper/cover combo. I think it's pretty appropriate for a mythological golden age of piracy story, as are the text ornaments:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter header image, chapter end image, and section break image. It was a very image-heavy typeset. I was originally planning to only have a header and a section break, but I couldn't decide whether I liked the ships or the book/shell/feather better, and they both suited the story so well that I just went with both. Again, opulent, but I think it fits. All the images came from rawpixel, all I did was resize them.
Tumblr media
There was a small error in the trimming process. Comes of having to calculate so closely the exact amount you can trim off, that you have to trim off so your slightly-too-small endpapers fit. I think something got misaligned when I poked the sewing holes because only the first signature is like this. The rest of the book has a more appropriately-sized margin between the page number and the edge. I got very lucky here, and I know it, and I'm never cutting it this close (lol) again. Next time we just order another sheet of chiyogami.
And that's it! I have one author's copy and one new bind in progress right now (that's taking a while because I'm learning more new stuff for it), and then I have two Christmas gift books to do, so it might be a bit before I have another book to share.

I WANT TO SPANK HIM SO BAD 🫦 and I want to see coryo in cute pink stockings :(
Can we all take a moment to appreciate that the font color in this ask matches the subject because I freaking love that! Also yes yes yes anon, it's about time for Coryo to wear some girly stuff
nsfw / mdni / sub!coryo / dom!reader
Your job had sent you to another conference, but luckily you got home earlier, just to find Coryo standing in front of the large bedroom mirror wearing nothing but your red stilettos and the new hot pink stockings you had bought the other day.
He was twirling around and watching himself in contempt, his manhood hanging freely since he was wearing nothing else. The boy seemed so carried away that he didn't even notice you entering the room.
You approached him silently and to his horror he only noticed your presence when you stood behind him. The boy froze in place trying to cover his manhood as if you hadn't seen it a million times before. His eyes were wide in terror, but you also noticed a hint of curiosity about what we're gonna do about it.
“Turns out you're also a sissy boy, Coriolanus… Couldn't say that I'm surprised,” you spoke in a slightly mocking tone, running your hands up his sides. The boy shivered as you twisted his nipples, biting in the crook of his neck playfully, making sure it would leave a dark mark.
“I-I didn't…” Coryo was about to come up with some bullshit explanation but you cut him off.
“Oh you did… You did borrow my things without my permission. You know what you deserve for that?”
“A punishment?” He asked innocently.
“Well at least you're a smart boy,” you said as you sat on the side of the bed and patted on your thigh motioning him to approach.
“C’mere! Lay down on my lap!” You instructed.
Coryo was about to step out of your stilettos, but you shook your head, letting him know that you wanted him to leave them on.
The boy obeyed and laid himself across your lap, his ass up and his stiletto clad feet swinging freely in the air.
You could feel his heart pounding in his chest waiting for what surely was about to come, but you were in no rush.
Your hand caressed his pale silky skin, feeling the lovely curve of his perky butt under your palm. Then you brought it up and back down in a swift move.
Coryo kept quiet, apparently wanting to play the tough guy this time. But you succeeded to elicit a quiet whimper out of him by repeating your move on the same butcheek this time with more force.
You spanked his left butcheek again and again at a monotone pace until the color of his skin matched the stockings that he was wearing.
Then you turned to his other butcheek and repeated the same routine. Coryo tried to keep composed, clenching his jaw and letting out only a little squeak here and there. You weren't satisfied by that.
After making his right cheek match the color of the left one, you started slapping them both at a rapid pace, using a non existing pattern. Finally Coryo let go of his stoic act and you heard him making a series of whines, whimpers and cute little “ows” that sounded like music to your ears.
You felt his cock pressing against your thigh and it grew harder with each second.
“Mommy, it stings,” Coryo whined.
“Good,” you replied, taking a small pause to grab him by the hair and yank his head back. You noticed a single tear running down his flushed cheek and it sent a jolt of arousal to your pussy.
You let go of his hair and kept spanking his ass that was now deliciously red, the tone now  looking more similar to the stilettos he was wearing.
“Too much…” Coryo whispered and your hand slid between his thighs.
“Oh really?” You taunted him, fondling his balls and then wrapping your hand around his rock hard member and giving it a few lazy strokes.
“Looks like your cock might say otherwise, huh?”
Coryo panted heavily, the feeling of pain being suddenly replaced by your warm grip around his cock elicited a desperate moan.
“So good, mommy…” he hummed.
“Don't get too carried away,” you teased, letting go of his member and getting back to the spanking routine, this time even harsher than before. This was supposed to be a punishment after all.
Coryo let out a sharp whine, gripping at the sheets next to him, so desperately he almost tore them off the bed.
You felt like an artist putting a few last touches to your artwork that was his ass, all burning red in a delicious contrast with his pale white skin.
When it looked good enough for your taste you finally let Coryo off your lap and enjoyed the pained expression on his face as he was sitting down on the couch. His cock was achingly hard and he rushed to get some relief only for you to slap his hand away.
“Nuh-uh! No touching! You really thought I was gonna let you cum?”
“Please…” Coryo whined realizing you were about to drag this out just for your own sadistic pleasure.
“I'm hungry and I’m gonna go make some dinner now. And you are gonna sit down nicely keeping your hands to yourself and letting me marvel at you wearing those lovely pink stockings that look so good on you.”
Coryo looked down at his cock, his tip leaking, so pink and desperate.
You let out a soft giggle.
“And if you behave, maybe I will decide to have that pretty dick of yours for a dessert.”

Last Christmas
Tumblr media
A/N: Written for Vee's Holly Jolly Challenge. (@sstan-hoe).
Warnings: Attempts at coercion.
Prompts: Nick Fowler - the song Last Christmas. The lyrics included will be written in bold purple font.
Summary: You should've known better. Of course he's still in love with her.
Tumblr media
“What the hell is this,” Nick forcefully places the paperwork on your desk.
You look it over quickly and respond, “it’s my request for a transfer.”
“But why,” he seethes. His jaw is tight and his body is tense. He clearly feels betrayed but that just makes your own hurt feel more justified.
“Nick,” you sigh, “you really don’t remember what happened at the Christmas party last week?”
Nick crossed his arms, “I remember you and me doing a lot of kissing in my office. Would’ve taken you home if you didn’t run out on me. I thought we were solid. We’ve only been dating a couple weeks, but we’ve been friends for a lot longer.”
“You really don’t remember,” you shake your head as you fight the urge to cry. “When we were in your office, you called me by her name.” Nick freezes at that and you continue, “I also thought we were solid. Enough so that I gave you my heart. But when you can’t let go of her, I guess I was a shoulder to cry on and nothing more. Even if you don’t want it, I need this transfer for me. To save me from tears if nothing else.”
Nick grabs the paperwork and promises to get your transfer approved as he walks out, leaving your office colder than it was before.
Tumblr media
It’s been a few months and you’ve really settled into your work. You can definitely understand why the role of manager for the Research and Development Department has such a high turnover rate. Everyone working here requires a different management style, a different level of understanding and guidance. Most managers stick to one style for everyone, but that’s clearly not what’s needed here and you’ve really gotten the hang of what your researchers need from you.
One thing that everyone could agree on was that they needed more space so you were able to work out a construction contract. The first day you met the foreman, Hal Carter, you were taken aback. You’d bought into the stereotypes of construction guys being on the sexist side (catcalling and whatnot) but he was polite, never talked down to you and always took your concerns seriously. He was quite the flirt, though. Pretty much every woman at the office had been winked at and complemented to no end. But no HR complaints came from it so at your weekly updates you just asked him to be careful with your employees and left it there.
You were doing really well in your job, your new life, when the surprise inspection came. Led by Nick. One look and you knew you weren’t over him but you would keep your distance. Once bitten and twice shy you’d make sure to keep professional. Taking Nick and his team on the rounds, you were grateful for your employees helping you out. A crowded room, friends with tired eyes but they did their best to make sure you (and their funding) would continue.
After the inspection you practically ran to your office to catch your breath. You didn’t notice Nick following you.
“Are you hiding from me,” he asks quietly. His wintry-blue eyes boring into your soul.
“I’m hiding from you and your soul of ice,” you confess. “I ask you to give me distance, to get my heart right again, and then you just waltz right in without warning. I thought you were someone to rely on.”
“During the rounds, I kept my distance, but you still catch my eye.”
“I know what a fool I’ve been, but if you kissed me now, I know you’d fool me again.”
Nick walked towards you, moving in for the kiss that you weren’t sure you really wanted, but he was interrupted by Hal coming into the office with donuts and coffee.
“Oh, sorry,” Hal faltered. He looked at you, “I’d heard you had an inspection of some kind, figured you could use a pick-me-up. Goodness knows your cookies help me and the crew when the building inspectors come around.”
You smile warmly at him, grateful that he broke Nick’s spell over you. “Thank you, Hal! It’s just what I needed. Care to join me? Nick was just on his way out.”
Nick gave you an icy glare before walking out. As soon as you saw him walk out of the building, you allowed yourself to collapse into your office chair. Hal set down the food on your desk and admitted he had been listening to your conversation.
“I was going to wait until you were done with whatever meeting you were in, but I heard a few things that made me worry about you. Given your reaction, I’m guessing I was right about you needing some help?”
You nod appreciatively, sipping at the coffee. “Thank you, Hal. I almost made a serious mistake. Again.”
“I’m happy to help,” he assures. “You’re a good person and I like helping out good people.”
You snort, “given what I’ve seen and heard you just like helping out women.”
He gives you a shy half-smile, “that’s partially true. I like helping people smile, brightening their day. You never know when someone just needs a compliment to help them keep going. Yeah, I’m a huge flirt. Yeah, it’s nice for my own ego. But, for me, it’s just a way of being nice. Oh, and don’t worry about my ego getting too big. My crew helps me with that.” That last note makes you chuckle and you’re genuinely feeling more relaxed than you thought you would.
“Well,” you grinned, “you definitely helped me smile today. Thank you for that.”
Tumblr media
Around August the construction project was finally wrapping up. You knew several people who were going to miss Hal and his crew. Especially when they went shirtless for a minute or two in the summer heat. Even you would occasionally indulge, smiling shyly the times Hal caught you looking. Your face would heat up in embarrassment but he never judged you or made fun of you for it. You were really going to miss him and your weekly meetings.
It was at your last meeting with him when you noticed Hal acting fidgety, almost nervous. You ask him if he’s okay and gives you a shy smile you’ve never seen before.
“Um,” he starts, “I…well, with the construction done…I was, um, would…wouldyougooutwithme?”
You blink a few times, not fully sure of what’s going on. “Hal,” you hesitated, “are you asking me out on a date?”
Hal nods, “I didn’t wanna ask while we were kinda working together. You said you’d never date a coworker again and I didn’t want to risk being that. But getting to know you, I…I’d really like to take you out some time.” He still wasn’t able to meet your eyes.
“Why are you acting so shy?”
“Because flirting is one thing. Asking out someone that I genuinely want to be with? That’s…that’s scary stuff.” He looks into your eyes and you’re taken aback. You see the face of a lover with a fire in his heart. You see someone special.
“I’d love to go out with you.”
Tumblr media
It’s the company Christmas party and, despite the crowd, Nick has never felt more alone. He knows you’re going to be here and he keeps watching for you. You’re not hiding from him, but he doesn’t seem to see you. You’ve been doing well and coming into your own. You’ve received nothing but love and support from Hal. You’re finally getting the warmth and care you’ve needed and growing.
Nick seems to give up and walks to his office. You follow quietly. As the door clicks shut, his eyes shoot up and you give him a gentle smile.
“Do you recognize me? Well, it’s been a year, it doesn’t surprise me.”
“You look so beautiful,” he whispers. “More beautiful than I ever gave you credit for. Now I know what a fool I’ve been. I got you something. I wrapped it up and sent it with a note saying, “I love you”. Did you receive it?”
“Yes, Nick,” you smile sadly. “I got the necklace.”
“I want you to know, I meant it, when I wrote that.” His frosty blue eyes scan you, looking for the necklace, unsure of why you don’t look happy about the gift.
“You never actually listened to me,” you shake your head. “If you did, you’d know I never liked gold and diamonds. That was her.” You place the gift box on his desk and stand firm, “I need you to stop sending me gifts and notes like this. Now I’ve found a real love, you’ll never fool me again.”
“But-” Nick tries to respond, you see genuine sadness and loneliness but you stop him before he can try to get you to cave.
“Last Christmas I gave you my heart,” you shake your head, putting a hand between the two of you so he can’t get closer. “You tore me apart. But I’ve healed and grown past. Maybe you should try that as well.”
With that, you turned around and left his office. A year ago you fled the room in tears. Now you’re walking out with your head held high. Last year you were left cold and shaken. Now you’re surrounded by warmth and comfort.

okay, I have to ask — how do you like your kobo ereader??
I’ve been eyeing one for a while bc I really *don’t* want a kindle, but also *so* many people have a kindle that it feels like it’s the only real option
Holy crap I LOVE IT. It's so much better than the Kindle. (Also: this got long)
I decided to upgrade my old Paperwhite (it was a second gen, so pretty old and small) and I almost got a new Paperwhite automatically (cause I felt much the same as you).
But the Kobos were on the same page and since I'm trying to be less impulsive, I started poking around and they are so good.
I went with a black Libra 2 and it's like the software was actually designed for human beings, unlike the Kindle software, which I think was designed for no one except the devil.
I side-load only and keep all my books organised in collections. The only way to do collections on the Kindle is manually, one book at a time, or jailbreak (and I'm not sure you can jailbreak the new Paperwhites, plus it's such a PITA).
On the Kobo, I can build collections from within Calibre, super fast and multiple books at a time. You can also do them manually on the Kobo, but even that is SO MUCH EASIER than on the Kindle.
The actual screen reading experience is basically identical (you can even side-load the Kindle font if you want it), since e-ink is pretty much e-ink, but it has few extra 'while you're reading' tweaks, like setting the all around margin size of the book (great if you switch between books and comics) and controlling the presence of, and info in, the top and bottom bar (pages left in book, pages left in chapter, percentage left to go etc). It also has a brightness and a warmness setting, so you can tweak those til they're just right for you.
I'm loving the physical page turn buttons so much - way easier than having to swipe the screen. I can hold the Kobo in one hand and just page forward with my thumb. It's also a teeny tiny bit lighter than my old Paperwhite.
I also love that you can 'archive' any books you've bought from Kobo, so they don't show up on the e-reader (you can still get them from Kobo later if you want), unlike Amazon where they're always right there unless you delete them forever. Like I said, I side-load everything, I don't want to see the Amazon-displayed copies. I don't want to see the Amazon displayed ANYTHING.
Kobo also doesn't advertise to you. Even in a non ad-supported Kindle, the home page of the new Kindle software shows trending and suggested books. It's bloody advertising. The home page on the Kobo shows you things about your library, with a discrete text invitation at the bottom to find new books or make a wishlist. There is a 'Discover' tab where you can see suggested books and such, but you have to actively go there, which means you're seeing it because you want to see it.
It's very intuitive to use - there's tabs down the bottom that do what they say on the tin and the settings are clear what they do. If it goes to sleep on 'Books' it wakes up on 'Books'. If you have authors sorted by last name it shows them all sorted by last name (this was endless aggravation on the Kindle which seemed to have an 'I do whatever the fuck I like' approach). It displays a cute little 'sleeping' when it's asleep along with the cover of what you're currently reading (you can turn that last one off).
It natively supports a decent assortment of file types: KEPUB, EPUB, EPUB2, EPUB3, PDF, FlePub, MOBI, PDF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, TIFF, TXT, HTML, RTF, CBZ and CBR.
I cannot recommend the Kobo Libra 2 highly enough. It's the damn bees knees and I wish I'd gotten one years ago. I can't ever see going back to the Kindle.
Some pics and Calibre details under the cut (which doesn't seem to be working, darn it).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(yes I have been rereading the Kitty series)
The Calibre plugins I grabbed are below, but tbh honest you don't really NEED any of them:
Tumblr media
I also converted my library to kepub, which isn't necessary, but gives you some nifty extra reading features.
To create Collections on your Kobo with Calibre
Decide what Calibre column you want to use for setting your Collections (I use tags, because I don't use it for anything else, but you can also make a new column in Preferences or use one of the others).
Make sure your Kobo is ejected then go to Preferences in the toolbar, locate the Import/export section, then click Sending books to devices.
For Metadata Management, choose Automatic management.
Click Apply.
Remain in Preferences, locate the Advanced section, then click Plugins.
Expand Device Interface.
Scroll down and select either Kobo Touch Extended, or if that's not present, KoboTouch.
Click Customize plugin.
Switch to the Collections, covers & uploads tab.
Checkmark Collections.
For Collections columns, enter the name of the Column you're going to use for Collections.
Checkmark Create collections.
Click OK.
Close Preferences and exit and restart Calibre.
Fancy up your library by putting your books in Collections and when you're done, Send to Device and those collections will be there, all nicely and satisfyingly organised on your Kobo.

Guess what? The new Heralds of Rhimn book files are out!!
Yep yep, those fancy PDFs and EPUBs that we've been showing off are finally finished. For those of you who've already bought the books on Itch, the updated and prettified files ought to be free to download whenever. Aside from the aesthetic updates, they also have some typos fixed, some missing glossary entries added, and a few problems fixed (like the incorrectly embedded fonts on the EPUBs.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This should hopefully be the final major overhaul for all three of these books. I hope we'd done good by you guys this time around. If you've enjoyed the books, please consider leaving a review or a comment. It really does help people discover our writing.
Now if you don't mind, we're going to find a dark corner to collapse into now. Enjoy!

There Will Come Soft Rains by @tunastime
Wedding Bands only need Three Gold Pieces by wisteriaworlds / @percivex
Where and How our Fires Burn by @plumelagoon
After a week of printing, cutting, and gluing, I have finally finished a long-held goal of mine to bind these three fanfics!
After the last mammoth bookbinding project, I wanted to do something simple for a change. So, I decided to bind some Rancher Duo fics for my personal enjoyment while using some of the cheapest materials and leftover stuff that I can find. While the overall binding process was comparatively simpler, there were also a few new tricks I use in the making of these ficbooks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If I could sum it up, I would say that these ficbinds are a sort-of "working experiment". As in, experimenting in making, gluing, and putting what goes where at which sections of the book.
For starters, the endpapers of various feathers are just cut sections of present-wrapping paper I found at a store. I intended to use a different paper pattern for the inside cover/endpaper, but ran out of that and bought the feather one instead. Given how Jimmy is head-cannoned and written as a canary of death, it's serendipitously fitting.
I also went for simplicity at the spine; just a long piece of cardstock. Simple and effective, yet somehow it went wonky for one book when it came to gluing. Why? How? I don't know!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Experimentation was afoot from the title page alone. The first two fics are titled plainly, but I decided to place a semi-transparent visual of a feather at the last ficbind, just to test the visual look. I'd say it looks a lot more interesting and fits the fic's vibe, though I also like the simplicity of the last two title pages.
The front matter (or information page/s) was also a place where slight experiments were done, namely at keeping all the information contained to one page. If there is just too much info, can I make it a two-page spread without it looking like a boring wall of text? And lastly: is there enough room to add the AO3 logo and my own?
The second and third ficbinds use symbols as dividers between different sections of info, and the third ficbind has no logo - more on that later.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I then experimented on the first page: could I use pictures or visuals to set the mood for the fic? Each picture was taken from the internet and edited to fit the page, though it look me literal hours to find the right pictures to use in the first place.
The titles have a pop of red color to make for an interesting visual effect. Soft Rains and How Our Fires Burn also have drop caps at their opening paragraphs to see if it fits with the visual look and layout.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There Will Come Soft Rains was also the first time I did some fancy editing in regards to the letter-writing sections of the fic. The paper background was easy, but it took some time to find the exact fonts that could fit Tango and Jimmy's writing vibe. I also divided Tango and Jimmy's perspectives with thematic dividers - a cowboy hat and redstone block, naturally.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I then repeated the visual vibe at the opening pages for the ending. As Wedding Bells ended at the left page, the opposite right page was a singular photo that conveys the vibe of the fic's ending. Since the other two ficbinds ended at the right page, I tried to come up with a way of conveying the emotional touchstone of their endings and settled on a double-page spread of photos.
Setting the photos to that they seem to meet at the center was a bit finicky, and it ultimately did not print as a seamless whole. Still, I like the effect those photos give to the ending(s).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Same concept, but simplified at the End Notes. I ultimately feel the simplified visuals of the latter ficbinds ended up better than the complete picture of my first attempt.
Also, remember how one ficbind, Where and How Our Fires Burn, did not have the logos at the front matter / information page? That's because that fic was when I experimented with a colophon and placed the logos of AO3 and my own there. Thinking about it, I may not use this method if I want to make a simple bookbind that saves pages, but definitely will for bigger projects.
Full credits for all these fics to their writers!

Being A Hostage for Colonel Miles Quaritch
Tumblr media
❀ A/n: GUESS WHO LEARNED HOW TO DO SMALL FONT IN HTML!!?? Me🤭 lmao so new look now~ I don’t know if you guys noticed yet but yes, the hc’s with moons are all connected and have their own story playing out in them, kinda like chapters, however, I will still be making headcanons outside of that small story and they will have a different emoticon. Also I know the ‘headcanons’ read more like a one-shot and that’s my bad guys. I'm tryna figure it out but for now please enjoy this third installment of my Quaritch headcanons.🫶
Side Note: I have been fairly gender neutral for the reader up until this point but for my story and nicknames sake technically its written in AFAB, I will continue to keep it as neutral as possible but I am sorry for any slip ups!
*.·:·.✧ ✦ ✧.·:·.*
✿ picking up where we left off, Spider had been gone for a few hours and you were beginning to grow restless, starting to pace, first slowly then speeding up before finally you sat down and curled up into a ball. What were you going to do? You couldn’t help them, but you couldn’t let them kill Spider and you can’t afford the outcome of him seeing you die. Your main focus was getting him out of here
✿ however, your thoughts on how you were going to get him out were stopped by the sound of loud thudding footsteps near your door and the smell of blood. when the door opened you stood quickly, vigilant, ready to find the reason for such a smell. your eyes were on Spider, who was limp and nearly unconscious. running to him you hissed at the Colonel feeling stupid for having ever trusted him in the first place and as soon as Spider was laid down gently on the cot that was bought for them (Thanks Lyle), you swung
✿ Quaritch narrowly ducked, yelling out a quick “Hey now!” jumping back a few steps and fumbling, not having expected your aggressive behavior, you were quick but he was quicker, dodging you swiftly and finally when you lunged for him he grabbed you twisting and pulling around the room with each other before finally he had your front against the wall.
✿ he was a little pissed you squabbled with him but he couldn’t blame you, honestly, he’d looked like he had gone back on his word and he hated that. He didn’t care just because of you, no, he would hate for anyone to see him or know of him going back on his word, no one would tarnish that, especially not some ‘science nerds.’
✿ breathing heavily you cursed him out in your new native tongue to which he said “I know mama, I know they hurt your baby. I get it, okay? but I didn’t know a damn thing about it so stop taking this out on me, yeah?”
✿ this honestly only pissed you off more, having you thrashing in his hold relentlessly, it's then he push off of you a bit and in a quick flash flipped you around and pushed back into your space. your breath caught, the lack of air between the two of you not giving you much room to move in comfortably, but it wasn’t just that. No, it was also the smell of him, his freshly pressed and starched clothes were nostalgic of your own time in the marine corp, but underneath all that was the unadulterated smell of him. It makes your head dizzy 100%
✿ ngl he liked the way your eyes sorta glazed as you took him in, the smell, the gorgeous view I mean come on, and of course the feeling of him; pressed up against you, a little too much to just be fighting off any of your future advances. he didn’t mean to, honest, but he just felt pulled to you, physically and otherwise
✿ “Get off me.” you spit out with venom, eyes clearing and meeting his, slightly narrowed but not as much as before, sensing if you fought anymore it would just make things harder
✿ “Do you promise to be good?” you growled, something low and feral in the back of your throat before turning your head away sharply, annoyed and displeased that you had to submit to such a man (you lowkey like it though, cause bffr, ain’t nobody put your badass in check since you left the corp)
✿ “Good girl.” He could hear your heart skip a beat and grinned wolfishly, looking you up and down once more before backing away coolly and returning to spider
✿ Quaritch didn’t want to admit it, especially in the short time he has even known the kid but he was worried about him, unfamiliar with the device they had used on him earlier, he remembers a prototype that followed along that design when he was human but he didn’t expect it to go this far, seems he was wrong about yet another thing, which also pissed him off and while he was silently fuming he didn't notice you come sit at the head of the thin bed and pull spiders head into your lap
✿ when he did notice you, he watched the way you combed your fingers through spiders hair lovingly, moving it out of his face. you gently wet your thumb and wiped the blood off the top of his lip and looked hard for anything else wrong with him. Quaritch didn’t take his eyes off of you until you reached for the breathing mask you kept on the floor beside the cot and took a few deep breaths
✿ he figured he should as well as the pressure in his chest had begun to grow but when he took his last few breaths, the pressure had still not gone away. something in him wanted to say it was you but he internally rolled his eyes at that so hard that they damn near got stuck
✿ “I’m sorry, I didn’t know they would do that, the science geeks y’know?” shit you almost laughed, but instead, you shook your head and let out a deep breath.
✿ “What do you want with us, Quaritch? I won’t tell you where Sulley is.” he looked at you for a few seconds, honestly not knowing what to say, because he didn’t know what to do. he needed you guys for this mission, but keeping both of you around, especially this close didn’t seem like it would end well. for him or the general; he didn’t know yet.
✿ “I don’t expect you too, your boy didn’t,” he looked away, back down at spider, and tapped his arm twice before standing from his couch position. “He's strong, I’ll give him that. But I can’t just let you two go back, so we’ll keep you on for the ride, in the meantime you’ll be helping me and my team.” you quirked a brow
✿ “Helping you with what?” you didn’t like where this is going.
✿ “All things Na’vi of course.” he smiled and went to turn and walk out of the room, done with the conversation
✿ “Wait.” he paused, “if I help you, I need you to do something for me.” he turned, not promising anything, just curious to see what you would ask. “What?” you looked up at him and almost felt bashful, but the truth was you felt uncomfortable in your clothes, especially when you could feel the eyes of so many men on you, human and otherwise, raking you up and down like a piece of meat. they didn’t cover much more than what was needed and they seemed to take advantage. you didn’t miss that feeling at all since becoming one with the Na’vi, the people not as brash or disrespectful as the men here were.
✿ “could you bring me some clothes?” he wanted to laugh, the meaning behind the request almost escaping him but in two seconds flat he realized and it made his skin itch with irritation. the idea of anyone looking at you in a way you didn’t want began to tick him off. he blamed the reaction on the feelings he had for you prior to his death but in this new body those would be abolished, now the less he would respect your request, only to just keep your rapport, of course.
✿“Absolutely, sweetheart.”
❀ A/n: ahhh!! I’ve been wanting to get this out forever😩 but I've been working so damn much BUUUT I hope you guys enjoyed it!! Please leave any critique and don’t forget requests are open for anything!

A yr. ago someone bought this 1858 Gothic Mansion in South Carolina for $1.840M. The previous owners had brightened it up a lot, but it still has many heavy gothic features.
Tumblr media
They painted the exterior of the home pure white and also redid the entrance. It really needs some color even though the graceful stairs stand out. Notice that there’s a mezzanine above.
Tumblr media
Their choice of wallpaper in this room makes it looks like a Federal style home.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And, then there’s this. Look at this monstrous fireplace and chandelier, not to mention the thick crown molding. I hope the new owner paints over that sickly pale paint color.
Tumblr media
Look at the huge chandelier they left.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is cool. It has a gothic church vibe going.
Tumblr media
Nice powder room.
Tumblr media
Each room has a different style fireplace.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Interesting kitchen floor. Like the shiplap walls and the chandelier. It’s nice that they chose a little Gothic design on the cabinet doors, but they have a pickled wood finish. There was no such thing as pickled wood in the 1800s.
Tumblr media
Not feelin’ the pantry remodel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The bedrooms have beautiful windows and this one has an ornate fireplace that they didn’t show.
Tumblr media
Check this out. It looks like a church confessional.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However this is awful.
Tumblr media
Magnificent room.
Tumblr media
I don’t like the showers, but I’m almost sure that’s a baptismal font that is going to become a sink.
Tumblr media
Yes. Adorable baby tub.
Tumblr media
Nope.
Tumblr media
Service stairs.
Tumblr media
This could be a loo under the stairs.
Tumblr media
Bonus guest house.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It needs work.
Tumblr media
Lots of Weeping Willow Trees on the grounds. The previous owners did some very inexpensive updates, but there’s enough features to make this house look like a real showplace.

Hii! How are you? Idk if your requests are open but i would like to request Neil Perry x fem reader o any pronouns i don’t mind, where the reader is a singer and has a bunch of songs written about Neil, and he loves them ofc. Thank you!!🫶🏼
Headcanons of Neil P. with a (fem!) singer reader
<Atention: Modern AU where Neil lives, and Welton’s a boys & girls school.
Warnings: Fluff, just lots of cheesy love and Neil Perry being amazing; >
Note: This was more self indulgent than I originally planned, but I wrote as if they ended pursuing the artistic careers (reader as a singer and Neil as an actor) with a happy ending, because we all need one. Hope you like this, let me know if you need anything else :)
Also, here’s my Neil playlist, hope you enjoy it!
Tumblr media
font;
The first time Neil heard you sing was in the school choir, he was mesmerized. He often would play your favorite tunes with just the right volume to hear the words floating out of your mouth. He never knew if you could see through his actions, but you would always sing.
Once you graduated and started pursuing your musical career he was nothing but supportive. You were sharing a tiny apartment in New York, living from part-time jobs and pouring the rest of you into your art and each other. It was beautiful and those years were glorious.
At a certain point, things got better. Neil started to get casted in bigger and bigger plays as his graduation was getting closer. Meantime you were working on your first original work. You should do an album with an original melody and lyrics as a final paper, then present it to a jury. The best ones would gain a contract with a famous music producer and get the chance to enter the music industry.
Neil was your muse, your primal inspiration. You didn't let him see your drafts but you would perform the finished songs to him every time. And he loved it, he never stopped loving hearing you sing. Some of them made him cry, others made him recall the memories you gathered together over the years.
He went to your presentation, of course. He assured you that everything was fine, that your work was touching and wholesome, and that they would be stupid not to invest in it. He took you to dinner after and cuddle you to sleep stopping anxiety to get the best of you.
He was holding your hand when you got the news that you not just had passed (and would, in fact, graduate) but that they loved your songs and would like to launch your career. He was with you all the way, he would always be. You were his favorite singer, his favorite lyricist, his favorite musician.
Tumblr media
Neil would be your nº1 fan, supporter, and hype man.
He would give good advice on producing and creativity (as an artist himself).
Great emotional support because being an artist can be very emotionally draining, and he knows it.
He would LOVE hearing the songs for the first time and helping you improve them.
Talks about your songs to everyone.
Has convinced (more than once) musical play producers to hire you.
Loves to interpret your songs as well.
He bought you a portable voice recorder once, so that you could take note of ideas more properly (with rhythm and melody).
He always buys your CDs on pre-sale.
He loves your lyrics and has a verse tattoed somewhere on his arm.
With time, both of you became very successful and quickly were the It Couple, people were just fascinated by your story and how you were always supportive of each other's work.
Needless to say that there were TONS of edits on TikTok about the both of you, and you're fans were also very connected. In general, the public loved you.
You were asked to be a fan's adoptive parents very often though, LOL.
Tag list: @tall-my-beloved ;
Hope you like it! I take requests by ask! (info on requests);
Also, you’ll find more of my writing here.

can we please take a moment to normalize not eating beef as a dietary restriction
long rant below
well, technically this is two rants.
rant # 1:
today's (+ yesterday) is bengali new year! happy new year to me I accidentally ate beef again and now my stomach hurts and I'm nauseous. what a great way to start off the year by messing up and eating beef when I'm literally not supposed to because of religion. on a religious day. cool cool cool.
anyways, I saw this hawaiian style chicken sausage at the store a few days ago and it was from a company that i haven't had before and i was intrigued! because I like hawaiian/pineapple flavors. so I bought it because. it's chicken sausage. that's what the front of the box said.
I ate two (of the four) sausages for lunch today.
and I was gonna have the other two for dinner and as I was taking them out of the box to start heating them, I casually flipped the box over and glanced at the ingredients and guess what?
it's made with beef collagen casing.
again. I don't eat beef.
and the worst part? the front of the box says "pork free". so this company had the foresight to think "okay so some people don't eat pork we should label our product so that they know that they can eat it"
but they didn't stop to think about the opposite? that there are people who don't eat beef and maybe they can just put something like "contains beef" clearly spelled out in the front of their packaging? like if it was on the front written in the same font/text as "pork free" I would've easily seen it at the store and not purchased it.
but they just want people to buy their product, that's all they care about.
rant # 2:
so my grad school commencement is coming up in a little over a month and they're giving a breakfast on site for graduates on the day of the big ceremony. my school sent out a form confirming attendance, tickets, and dietary restrictions.
the dietary restriction question was formatted like a multiple choice question. I don't have access to the form anymore, but when I filled it out, I noticed two things:
there was no option for me to select "no beef" or something along those words. there were other dietary restrictions, but not mine.
there was no "other" option for me to select (let alone a free text box where I can type "hey I don't eat beef")
ultimately I had to submit that I had no dietary restriction, which isn't true. now, this is for a continental breakfast so I'll be fine if it's like any other standard continental breakfast. I can also just ask when I'm taking food with meat, which is what I usually do in these types of situations.
I'm just mind-boggled at the fact that they sent out a form and didn't think to add an "other" option???? like hello???????
TLDR
i'm frustrated by how not eating beef isn't normalized as a dietary restriction (and the food industry/people in general don't seem to take some restrictions seriously) and my stomach hurts now. thanks for coming to my ted talk.

It's been some time, tumblr.
"December" or "a poem I wrote in a gas station parking lot half an hour ago":
I saw the dust shake from you star,
twenty miles south.
Hop skip and a jump.
I can still taste ozone in my mouth,
as if lightning struck this house
the night I got the news
you caught the bus.
Your twenty eighth birthday
started with a friend calling you at six in the morning,
drunk as hell and about fed up with it all.
You had to take her kids to school.
Well, I'm officially older than you now.
The big 2-9 is surreal to me the way
a the sunrise is surreal to meteors.
They were so sure they'd burn up by then
that they see that beautiful, yellow-orange glow
and they don't know what to do with it.
It's beautiful, but baffling to them.
Like they were–and I suppose are–aliens
And you've just shown them the Sistine Chapel.
They don't know what any of it means,
and maybe you don't either,
but something is conveyed about humans
reaching out to grasp the font of their creation,
be it god or ylem.
I am in awe, now, of time.
I tried to make stars into analogies for life and death
as if they weren't the same coin, tumbling
and waiting to show us Old George winking our fortune
or Yosemite National Park writing an epitaph.
The coin flips and flips, and I am in awe of the fact everything's come of George on my end.
Later in the day you messaged me,
and told me 28 was a good run.
It was then that I knew you were going slip into the night.
Some part me thought it would happen then
or at least before Christmas.
The following year, I bot a bottle of Tattoo Girl wine–
I don't know anything about wine. I just buy it by name.
I brought it to dinner as a gift to find that they had also bought the same wine.
In all honesty, I really don't like French toast,
but you did and both of them felt closer to you eating it.
Growing up Catholic, I was taught that Mass
was a celebration of the things wrought from Jesus' life and death.
I don't know about any of that now,
but I drank the wine that night like a sacrament,
a solemn blessing over our communion,
the word Amen hanging on the tip of my tongue.

Got a bit of a different bookbinding post today. @renegadeguild got an ask from a new binder saying they were intimidated by everyone's gorgeous binds (me too, actually, some of you guys are scary good), and so they've asked people to share their first binds. And I realized I'd never even taken photos of my first one, so here it is, warts and all:
Tumblr media
This is E.M. Forster's The Machine Stops, a public domain scifi short story that you can read for free at the link. The first reason I chose it was that it's an interesting story, and I'd bought a print-on-demand copy a few years previously that was just terrible. Baffling cover choices, basic errors in the typeset (like quotes that face the wrong way), weird size that didn't fit on my shelf; just not a good product. I couldn't do it with more indifference than the PoD people. The second reason was that I was too intimidated by the thought of asking a fic writer if I could bind their story and then producing something with a thousand sloppy beginner mistakes, and then they'd want to see photos and I'd have to show them this and it would have been mortifying, but Forster has been dead since 1970 so I could not disappoint him. It was very freeing. I bound it in 2021 as an experiment, to see if I liked this hobby enough to stick to it. The cover is green cardstock and faux leather scrapbook paper that I bought at... probably Hobby Lobby. I added the title later, as a practice project when I first got my Cricut; for the first two years of its existence it had a blank cover.
There are more photos under the cut!
Tumblr media
In this photo we can see:
--Too much glue when attaching the leather-print paper, so it oozed out onto the cover.
--Cricut font too thin and too much heat/too long of a press, so the letters have gaps and the glue also oozed out here. It's a continuing theme with this bind.
--I tried to use a bone folder to give it a sharper hinge crease and accidentally pressed too hard and tore a hole in the paper; you can see this in the little white vertical line near the top of the hinge
Tumblr media
The fore edge is not square. I actually don't remember why this happened. I may have eyeballed the board position when I made the case, or the paper may have slipped while the glue was wet, or I cut it crooked and didn't notice till later. Either way it's bad enough that the book doesn't stand on its own. There was a crooked man/who walked a crooked mile/and found a crooked sixpence/against a crooked stile./He bought a crooked cat/which caught a crooked mouse/and they all loved together in a little crooked house, and I bet they read this little crooked book from their little crooked library.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Top view, you can see that the case is too big and the text block doesn't sit straight in it. It has no endbands or bookmark, and it's hard to see in this photo but there's glue on the top of it, at the spine. This still happens to me but I know how to trim books now so this bit gets cut off. You can also see that the scrapbook paper has some cracks where its white core is visible. This is why I do cloth or actual faux leather on the spines now. Endpaper shows uneven trim (did I not use a ruler for this??), too much glue causing major seepage, and it doesn't sit evenly in the case. I'm not sure if this is because of the case itself being crooked, a badly-trimmed endpaper, or if the text block is also crooked. Or it may be a combination of all these factors. Unclear.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Typeset photos! Here we see:
--Title page has a page number on it. This is a pet peeve of mine and I fixed it after this book.
--There is no half title, summary, or metadata. All my later binds have these things.
--It's typeset in Times New Roman. Unlike many I don't actually hate this font but reading it reminds me of being in high school so this is the only book I used it for. Baskerville is my beloved now. The font is also much bigger than it should be. It's not huge but it's like a large print book so it feels weird for me to read it.
--Lol what are margins
--Lol what are page headers
--Actually I think I left the headers out so it wouldn't have a header on the first page of each chapter, because I knew about page breaks but not section breaks at this time.
--It's on regular-ass lightweight printer paper. There's nothing wrong with this but I switched to heavier weight paper shortly after to help with bleed-through and the light stuff feels so flimsy now.
--I didn't understand how Word's book fold worked at this time, so when I had to set the sheets per booklet and it had an option for 4, I chose that thinking it would give me 4 sheets of paper (16 numbered pages) per sig. It did not do this. It gave me 4 numbered pages per sig. So every signature is 1 sheet of paper. Every page is its own signature. I am still mad about this but it sure drove home how the setting works and also how to make kettle stitches since you make one after every sig. A book of 48 pages has 12 signatures which is just ludicrous.
--There's no photo of this but it has a piece of printer paper on the spine because I didn't have mull. I did use PVA though. Lots and lots of PVA.
--It's stitched with regular sewing thread, which means it doesn't have much swell for a book with that many sigs, but it's less sturdy and more likely to tear the paper.
And that's that! It probably sounds a bit like I was tearing it to shreds but I actually love this book quite a lot. I learned so many things that I applied to my next binds, it was an invaluable experience. It let me fall in love with the hobby so I could make the awesome things I make now. I've got those all posted on my main blog under the tag #snek makes books, or you can see them all on my side blog @papersnakepress. For a first book it's functional and readable, and still better than the PoD copy I had before. I've been thinking of doing a rebind as a sort of progress gauge, actually. Maybe next year.

How I Met Some Books
People often told us the way they met someone. "We were classmates," "I met her at my friend's wedding," or "I think I've seen his face on social media." But how did you come across a book? In what way did a book enchant you? How did a book embrace you warmly like a true friend? I have a few little stories about how I met some books.
Relativitas - Adi Purnomo
Around 2016, I went to a lovely bookstore in Bandung. I 'scanned' the bookshelves with my eyes while pointing them one by one, hence I found this book. The old version has plain black cover with a tiny title written in serif font— "Relativitas". Kind of mysterious, wasn't it? I read, then it changed my life. I switched my hobby from drawing to writing ever since, as we know drawing is an essential activity in the design field.
Manuscript Found in Accra - Paulo Coelho
Once a year, faculty of fine arts and design in my university holds a book fair. I could get various books at discounted price there including this novel. Just like everyone else, I admire Paulo Coelho's writings because of The Alchemist so I bought Manuscript Found in Accra with no doubt. I read it about a year or two years later, however, it's among my top 5 books of all time.
Homeless - Liyana Dhamirah
I scrolled through a well-known bookstore website from Singapore, finding the right books. I looked at Homeless, then I decided to have it on my Kindle. This book revealed the reality of Singaporean housing, where actually some individuals still couldn't afford home so they should live in a temporary tent just to survive. It left a lasting impression on my mind, but the bookstore has officially closed due to a scandalous issue.
Nunchi - Euny Hong
After 11 years apart, I reunited with my secondary school friends. One of them shared his recommendation— Nunchi —and lent me the book. After I finished it, I honed my awareness at the office, when I met pals, and in the end it all makes sense. We're able to "read someone's mind" if we "take a closer look" at the situation. I influenced several fellow readers to read it, and they acclaimed Nunchi as a life-changing book as well.
Nocturnes - Kazuo Ishiguro
Such a meet-cute— my favorite library in town has a dedicated corner for Kazuo Ishiguro's books. Nocturnes, instead of Never Let Me Go or Klara and the Sun, captivated me because it's a compilation of short stories about music and nightfall. I fell in love with it easily.
---
How did you meet your best books, or even a book you dislike? I'd love to hear your stories. Oh, I'd also like to meet new books.
P.S.: Yesterday I talked to someone about classic sitcoms. "How I Met Your Mother" was on top of my mind. That was how I chose this title.
P.P.S.: I'm writing this on Just Write #1, a session by Journal Kita.
