confession headcanons with lotor, acxa and allura

notes: first post on this account, figured I'd start off with something pretty simple tags: friends to lovers, confessions, first kisses, hugs, overall just fluff lmfao, claustrophobia, tight spaces, being locked into a closet word count: 1.5k

[ lotor ]

okay so first of all Lotor would act one of two ways if he had feelings for you

either he'd be extremely suave around you (and of course a blushing mess the second you acted even close to similar)

or he'd be almost mean? like I feel like he would ignore you if you were someone he really cared about and/or someone he was enemies with

in the latter case its a situation where he doesn't want you knowing

I feel like, if you two went from friends to lovers, it would more be the second option, so we're going to go with that

so you've been noticing for a while that Lotor's been ignoring you for a while

and you're like hey bitch what gives, so you go and ask him why

poor lotor is an absolute mess. he has no clue what to say

cause like obviously he can't say, "Yeah I was ignoring you because you're super hot and I'm in love with you." So he just kinda stands there like 🧍 "How can I help you?"

but now ur like lowkey pissed so you just force answers out of him by like getting super mad

and he's just like 😒 "why do u care?"

hehe you just yell out "Cause I love you fucking idiot."

and then you realize what you just said and storm off lmfao

poor man has a panic attack and then just chases you into the hallway, grabbing you and pinning you against a wall as gently as he can.

"did you... mean that?" lotor forces out, cradling your cheek in his large hand. his cheeks are red, you notice with some satisfaction, and as you revel in this affection after weeks of being starved of it you realize that the likelihood of lotor feeling the same way is really quite large.

so, after working up insane amounts of courage, you go on your tippy toes, guide lotor's head down to a height where you can reach him, and peck him gently on the lips, pulling away quickly, cheeks dusted red. "uh... sorry," you look away, not wanting to make eye contact with him, "If you don't feel the same way... you can just ign-"

"- I do feel the same way," he coughs out, also not meeting your gaze.

"Oh."

Lotor steels himself, then leans down, tilting your head up with his warm hand as he gently meets your lips, deepening the kiss as you smile into it.

After some time he breaks away, smiling.

the man is emotionally stunted but you can fix that *winks*

acxa would be really subtle if she had feelings for you

if you guys go from strangers to lovers, then she'll probably just subtly do things for you

she's going to get a coffee, she'll ask if you want one as well

just the little things

if it's a friends to lovers scenario, she might leave lingering touches along your arms or hands

I feel like her main love language is acts of service, considering she's relatively closed off due to her military history, so she will do more things for you, as I already mentioned. however if she has feelings for you beyond just friendship, she might also cave to your love language as well

physical touch? she's letting you hug her, which leads to ezor teasing her so fucking much because usually acxa will just step back if someone tries something like that

if its gift giving, expect small, practical things likes knives or omnitools. she won't give elaborate gifts all willy-nilly, but she does know what you like for, for example, your birthday

anyway back to the confession (I got a bit off track there lmfao)

so acxa will be realllll subtle, and you'll just be blushing your ass off lmfao

like she'll gently adjust some hair so that it's again behind your ear and you will just go red as a tomato

the issue here is that ACXA IS FUCKING OBLIVIOUS

doesn't notice a thing

this means ezor (best wingman fr) and zethrid (their exhausted gf) have to play cupid and get you two together, because ofc only ezor sees the signs and has to act on them

anyway, the actual confession is relatively simple, because ezor dedicates so much of their time into getting you two into the closet together that zethrid swears she hasn't slept all week

(the sheer amount of failed attempts... is astounding)

so ezor is like, hey, [reader] wanted to meet you here for something top secret and pushes acxa into the closest, meanwhile zethrid just picks you up and drops you inside, closing and locking the door as soon as you two are in there

ofc they're both outside listening in

anyway acxa starts off by trying to break down the door, like the night in shining armor she is, but as soon as she realizes that it's futile she just slumps against the wall and accepts defeat

i mean ofc she knows why ezor is doing this

doesn't mean she has to like it

"so..." you blurt out, awkwardly rubbing the back of your head with your palm. internally, you're panicing at being locked inside a tight space with none other than acxa, the object of your affections, but you hope that you can at least display some composure around her.

you wouldn't want her to think you a complete fool.

acxa raises an eyebrow, "yeah?"

"how are we going to get out of here?" you ask, saying the first thing that comes to mind.

"they'll let us out eventually."

"hopefully. why do you think they locked us in here?" of course you know why the locked you in here. you should never have told ezor about your feelings for acxa, the general always was far too eager to play matchmaker to trust properly with sensitive emotions.

acxa doesn't reply for a while, simply tilting her head at you. she supposes it's now or never. the quicker she confesses the quicker you're both out of here; you've mentioned hating tight spaces before and she doesn't want to inconvenience you any further.

"they locked us in here because of my feelings for you, [reader]."

your eyes widen and your cheeks go red at the implication in her words. "do you-"

"they're romantic, yes, before you ask."

you swallow, "okay. um. I uh-"

"you feel the same way?"

"yes."

acxa sighs, in relief, and stands. as she steps towards you, you reach a hand out so that she may help you up. yet instead of staying standing up she kneels before you, her face at level with yours. as she takes your face in her warm hands, you smile, and she lends you one in return, right before your lips meet hers. the kiss is warm, nice, gentle, soft. you seperate, but before you can lean back against the wall, she grabs your collar, whispers, "may I?", waits for your nod then clashes your lips against her own, this one much hungrier.

ezor tugs the door open right then, but acxa just keeps kissing you.

coran is, in this case, playing wingman

SHE STARTS WRITING LOVE LETTERS

they're always signed:

- from your sky princess

you only catch on at dinner one evening and you have that AHA! moment right next to coran

oh allura is so embarassed when you just stand up, tug out a letter and point at her while jumping up and down

but coran is smirking so hard lmfao

"you wrote the letters! princess you should have told me in person!" you're overjoyed; she returns your feelings! but why didn't she just tell you?

"I was scared you didn't feel the same way, love," allura replies.

you hands down leap towards her, hugging her so hard that she has to tell you to losen your grip a bit, lest you strangle her and you just cover her face in kisses. as you realize what you're doing though you jump away and blush hard, "sorry, I should have asked."

she shuts you up by tugging you back onto her lap and kissing you softly. "It is not an issue, my love."

you legitimately short circuit.

Confession: In 2018 I watched Voltron and joined the fandom halfway thru the show’s run because I quickly discovered any post tagged with voltron got me lots of notes and my sideblog got followers so quick so I stayed in the fandom for a show that I never enjoyed watching all that much solely for attention and the semblance of a social life

#not that I want also invested in the show and characters but it was very secondary to getting people to talk to me #that was also the year I Had a Girlfriend lol can you imagine #wasn’t super into her either but again I’ll do anything for attention and peer approval #was not smart at 17 I’ll tell you that.#then I wrote a Klance fanfic and wrote my silly teenage breakup feelings into clone keith & Acxa’s relationship asfjfjvhgh #actually I started the fic before the breakup and realized while writing it hang on. I’m going thru the motions without real feelings #being openly lesbian is a huge fuck you to the world and I’m wasting it in a relationship that feels fake? My favorite thing about Klance is imagining their extended family dynamics. Like obviously Shiro (+Adam) is Lance’s brother-in-law and Veronica is Keith's sister-in-law. But spiritually: Lance and Keith both agree that Hunk is their shared brother. Pidge is Keith's cousin through Shiro, making her Lance's cousin-in-law. Allura is Lance's cousin through Coran, making her Keith's cousin-in-law. Acxa is Lance's sister-in-law through Veronica, but she's also kind of his sister-in-law through Keith. Keith and Acxa are kind of siblings but Krolia is NOT Acxa's mother, she is Acxa's mother-in-law through Veronica-Lance. Romelle is Keith's sister through Krolia but Romelle is NOT Lance's sister-in-law (not until Romella and Allura get married, then Romelle becomes Lance's cousin-in-law. And then of course Allura becomes Keith's sister-in-law through Romelle). I should make a chart.

i am once again expanding on my ideas of how i’d write voltron but this time it’s thanks to @iveofficiallygonemad’s encouragement to hear about the galra generals

so first off, lotor + the generals should have been foils to the paladins, minus shiro cuz he’s missing when they’re introduced. the paladins being everyone in their OG lion + allura in black for reasons i’ve explored a buncha times already. the foils would be: lotor and allura, acxa and keith, narti and pidge, ezor and lance, and hunk and zethrid.

each one of these pairs has some surface level traits that are extremely similar if not identical, while having deeper traits that are completely opposite. allura and lotor are both royalty and their team’s leader, but with completely different moralities and approaches to ruling/leading. keith and acxa are both the right hands (and look so similar that ppl thought they were secret twins lmaooo) but where acxa is cold and calculating, keith is impulsive and hot-headed. both pidge and narti are very agile and keep secrets, but pidge hacks computers and narti hacks people’s minds. lance and ezor are both adaptable and outgoing, but ezor has a cruelty to her that lance doesn’t, instead being very kind. similar to them, hunk and zethrid are both powerhouses, but hunk knows to use his power responsibly while zethrid loves fighting for the sake of it. there could have been an excellent showcase here of how the team with more kindness and compassion are always beating the team that’s more cruel and uncaring.

now i don’t like the narti died, and i maintain that lotor should have been redeemed— not because i particularly like his character in canon, but because he could’ve had a much better one. he was clearly shown to have shitty parents, and it would’ve been so much more satisfying to see him rebel against them and break the cycle as it were. and with the blade of marmora being an organization of galra working against the empire, it’s clear where they could go.

i’m imagining a plotline of zarkon being resurrected or whatever happened in those seasons, and lotor being told him + his team now have no use, they were just a stand-in for zarkon while he was down and out. it’d be the final straw for him, and he’d storm off, his parents assuming his just throwing a tantrum. in reality, he’s convincing the generals— who are really the closest thing he has to friends— to just defect from the empire.

acxa has an undying loyalty to lotor, so she’s open to whatever he wants to do. ezor and zethrid are very chaotic neutral, down for whatever strikes their fancy in the moment and in this moment the idea sounds exhilarating and fun. they aren’t outright villains anymore but they’re still quite fucked up and tbh. good for them!

as for narti, she was killed in canon before she got any sort of personality, so i’m gonna hang onto the foil concept and base some personality and backstory on pidge’s. narti is very curious about life outside the empire, because the empire is all she’s known. she was a child soldier from day one. she also wants to get more knowledge about her powers and non-galran heritage, because it’s as much a mystery to her as it is to everyone else. she’s kind of always wanted to defect, but didn’t have the bravery to do so alone.

so they run away with no real plan of what to do. lotor wants a life outside of his father, but his father is ever expanding the empire, so he keeps losing places that are just his. that, plus his first hand witness of what the empire actually does, opens his eyes to the cruelty of his father’s colonization. that drives him to wanting to outright fight back against his father and the generals, who have been watching the same things, are right there with him.

acxa is watching the empire from an outsider’s position, and she’s seeing the real danger of being a mindless follower. she’s watching countless soldiers follow the orders of a handful of generals, and watching those generals not care when the soldiers get hurt or even die, because they’re just numbers and forces to the generals. she realizes that she should be making her own decisions and that even if she trusts lotor, he shouldn’t be the one in charge of her life.

narti is at first one track minded in finding her other parent’s home planet, but time and time again she watches a similar devastation happen on other planets. families get separated, important cultural artifacts are damaged, history documentation is destroyed. she learns she isn’t the only one dealing with this, and she doesn’t want any more people to suffer the same fate she has.

ezor and zethrid have been spending this time like a vacation from work, doing whatever seems most fun and rewarding. but they eventually start to see the empire repeatedly ruining their fun, and they don’t like it. they’d tell the others they don’t want zarkon interrupting them anymore and they don’t, but a large part of it is also seeing the hurt on their friends’ faces whenever they get caught in a firefight again. they love each other, and they love their friends, and they don’t want any of them getting hurt.

now obviously team voltron and their various allies wouldn’t trust lotor and co. but time and time again they’d see them helping voltron and hurting the empire how they can. eventually, there’s be tentative teamwork and down the line, they’d be invited to join the blade of marmora.

immediately all five of them would notice the familiarity between the blades and the empire. there’s basically no difference between their mottos; the blade is uncomfortably okay with letting soldiers die if it means getting the mission done.

the generals want to say something, but lotor doesn’t want to stir the pot too much. their position is very weak, there’s still very little trust in them. to come out the gate opposing how everything is done wouldn’t be good.

but the blade trusts voltron, doesn’t it? and one of the paladins is also a blade. so… they find keith and talk to him, telling him that while the blade has a good cause unlike the empire, both are a little too cool with letting people die, and it’s more than kind of upsetting.

keith, who is way too self sacrificial, doesn’t see a problem with this, but brings it up next time he’s with voltron. everyone is surprised by lotor + co’s behavior and ideals, and start to trust them more

i’m starting to lose steam here but um. lotor + co being good guys and the five of them co-leading the blade and making it better than the empire :-) they all get their own mini character arcs within this collective group arc and no one is killed for shock factor and no one is pushing the narrative of abused kids turning out just like their parents and continuing the cycle <3

Imagine…

AU where Katherine Holt has a massive crush on Lance, from afar. She is socially awkward because she skipped a few grades and now is the youngest person at the college/university. She gets recruited by Coran for his robotics club and there she meets Allura. Allura instantly wants to be friends but Katherine is shy and self conscious. She’s used to being in the background, the brains behind the curtain so to speak. Allura is patient though, she knows how it feels to be different. So she chips away at her walls. Besides she doesn’t want to change her just change everyone else’s perspective…especially Katherine’s. Once she finds out about Katherines crush on Lance she decides to use that line to tug.

Katherine is smart, witty and a bit devious. Unknown to Alllura, Katherine also goes by Pidge and is currently a consultant for her brother and his partner who works for the FBI. She does a lot of the computer work with Matt. Initially Shiro was very against Pidge helping but after getting to know her, he can’t help but be impressed. Hell, he’s half in love with her and knowing she doesnt connect well with people her age, he deliberately hangs out with both the Holts. Hiijinks ensure and their bond helps Pidge blossom.

Meanwhile, Allura starts dating the new guy at school-Lotor. Who has some conflicts with Lance and his friend Hunk. It’s around this time that Lance starts to notice Katherine, who he quickly nicknames Katie. She’s tiny, quiet and supportive. She always seems to be smiling and laughs at all his jokes. As Allura starts to hang out with Lotor, Katie falls into hanging out with Lance and Hunk. Hunk loves her, she eats all his cooking and she is wicked smart. They join the robotics club and are soon winning much of the competitions. Until they join an underground fight club for their robots.

The only reason they are doing the whole underground fighting however is because Pidge had overheard how her brother hit a bunch of blocks on the current case. So she dropped breadcrumbs for Lance to follow, which he of course ran for and somehow it was his idea to compete. It’s here that Lance sees his old nemeses Keith.

But Pidge has done her research and she knows that Keith is old friends with Shiro-so she instantly puts him in the friend column, especially after doing a deep five into his history via some hacking. Fortunately, he’s friends with Acxa who is friends with Lotor who Pidge believes is somehow connected to all this.

Paths are crossed. And while Keith doesn’t hate Lance, he does make his presence known. So Keith naturally observes Katie, who is kinda dating Lance. The more he watches the more he doesn’t understand. How does everyone thing Katie is so sweet and nice? She’s sarcastic. She’s tricky. She’s suddenly all he can think about. He’s constantly searching for that moment, that glint she gets when she does something…un-Katie like. But is like he’s the only one who sees. It drives him mad. He’s obsessed.

One day, he sees some guys hassling her and he goes to step in, not even thinking she could take care of herself. But boy does she. She wipes the ground with the guys and Keith witnesses it all. He calls her on it. She shrugs it off as self defense, duh.

But now Katie realizes Keith is onto her. What to do…she needs help and she hasn’t told her brother…yet. Then suddenly there’s a raid at the fight, and chaos ensues. At some point Keith is trapped and he’s ready to bash some heads when Katie appears. She pulls him along to one of her preplanned exit plans when she sees an opportunity to hack the mainframe that is usually heavily guarded. Decided she has to go with her gut, she tells Keith and of course he’s in. With zero thought. Watching her, Keith grins, satisfied with the knowledge he was right. She was so much more than she appeared.

Obviously a slow burn where Keith fell first, and Katie realizes, a crush is so much different than love…

Despite agreeing with anon about Keith being suited for Specialist than Leader, and with you about shoehorning Keith into the role of Black Paladin being a huge mistake, I like to believe that he did hone his leadership capabilities enough that he absolutely killed it as the Blade of Marmora commander in canon. Imagine you're a struggling planet post-war and the most beautiful being you've ever seen in your life steps up to help you, a pack of gorgeous lesbians just behind. That one shot of Keith with Acxa, Ezor, and Zethrid behind him is very dear to me. Space Helen and his pack of gay alien women.

Okay, you've got me, from a super subjective and entirely selfish perspective, I would love for my team of chiseled humanitarian aid workers to be comprised of pretty-boy Keith, gorgeous femme Ezor, buff butch Zethrid, and sexy bisexual Acxa, like,,,,,,, OBVIOUSLY.

But objectively, while Keith being in charge of a small specialist unit //deeply// appeals to me, I still don't feel he should have taken over the BoM as a whole, because that level of command would, in reality, require a HUGE quantity of behind-the-scenes paperwork that Keith is just,,, ill-suited for ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kidge winter event

Day 4: Winter Holidays

(This is a Modern AU)

The Christmas holidays: a real break for students with the end of the first quarter. Katie sighed as she placed the large cup of hot black tea on the white saucer. She looked impatiently at the clock: four sixteen in the afternoon, she had been there for almost an hour now. Next to her, on the comfortable sofa with red cushions, her heavy canvas bag was still placed with notebooks and notes from the quarter inside. The beautiful bar door opened and a small bell rang while the sound of heavy rubber boots got closer and closer until it reached her with a wave of petrol and mint perfume. “Sorry for the delay, there was a lot of traffic due to the snow…”: the man smiled sheepishly, taking off his gray hat and red jacket: “I should have sent you a message, I know, it's my fault…” “Don't worry…”: Katie giggled: “The important thing is that you're here, Keith..” He smiled. After the unfortunate events of last year they had stopped seeing or writing to each other, and now they had finally had the courage to talk about it. What had happened between them was just a misunderstanding, a bad joke and a bad mistake. The summer had been hell for both of them. “I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I didn't call you or… just hear from you…”: she sighed, bringing the cup to her lips and taking a sip of the hot drink. “I didn't call you either…”: he replied: “We are equal in many aspects…” There was a brief pause in which neither of them could speak. Katie was casting her mind and memories back to the events of the past year, their effects and causes. They had been best friends throughout high school and middle school, and even when he dated Acxa in her junior year, breaking her little heart, she never betrayed their friendship. She had simply pretended nothing had happened; she had moved on with her life and her studies, also finding a kind and willing boyfriend to fill that void in her chest. All it took was some alcohol and a big Christmas party at Lance's house to make them sleep together, cheating on their partners at the same time. “How did Acxa cope?”: she asked, finding any excuse to speak and interrupt that deafening silence. “We argued, of course, but then everything went well…”: he replied, tapping his fingers nervously and slowly on the polished wooden table. “I'm happy…”: she nodded: “James and I broke up…” That had no relevance, however it was right that he knew it too. Apparently he had caught them making out at the party and when Katie returned to the apartment they shared the next morning, the suitcases were already packed and ready by the door while the furniture was bare of all her things. “I've always hated that asshole…”: Keith groaned, “You have no idea how much I wanted to punch him when you told me you were dating…” She bit back a small, amused smile, then cleared her throat. “What do you think we should do now?” She asked, playing with her fingers as he looked up at her for a moment. “What would you like to do?”: he asked in turn. “I don't know, become friends again and bury what happened? I don't think Acxa will be happy to know that I'm your best friend again after what happened…": she shook her head. “Acxa is not the problem, she and I decided to end our relationship a few months ago. Now she's with Veronica..”: he informed her. “OH…”: she squeaked in surprise: “I'm sorry…” “Don't be, we just talked calmly and came to the conclusion that everything was simply not as we had imagined…”: he explained. “And how would you have imagined it?”: she asked, daringly. “With a special person who has always been next to me, but who I was so blind as not to see completely…”: Keith looked at her with a slight smile, devouring her through his eyes. “Are you saying that after years I can be with the person I've always loved?”: she asked, as he moved next to her. "It depends on you…" Katie smiled. All of that was enough. She pulled him down for a kiss.

Despite the copium made up of "I heard a rumour"s that I imagine still exists in KL circle(jerk)s, Klance was never, ever, meant to be canon. The idea literally didn't occur to the showrunners until the ship blew up and by that point iirc they were already working on the final seasons. Allurance was hinted at from ep 1 and honestly, Keith/Acxa always felt very clearly like something they kept floating around every season with enough hints that if they wanted to pull the trigger on it in the final act it'd have been easy (if awkward).

But ships made the show popular and klance was absolutely, by a wide margin, the most popular so of COURSE they're gonna use ship hashtags on twitter, on youtube, on whatever platform they're promoting the show so that when ppl search up their uwus they're gonna get whatever the official accounts are promoting. That's not queerbaiting, that's marketing. Now if an official trailer for the show featured only KL moments and had a line where Lance is speaking fondly to Allura but framed as though he's saying it to KEITH, *that* is queerbaiting. There are other things the show did that could def be argued as queerbaiting (none involving lance or his ships in any capacity whatsoever) but I'm not gonna wax poetic about those cuz tbh... I just don't care.

Like, even if this hashtag tweet WAS queerbaiting, so what? Are we really gonna get into it and write callouts for a show that ended, notoriously badly, almost 5 years ago? Why? What cause would that help?

In the kindest way possible, it's time to not think about such things anymore. If you're still in vld fandom having a great time celebrating your fave ship or character, that's fantastic, keep it up. But if you're lingering because you're longing for closure or answers or feeding yourself on the angry emotions this stuff builds up in you, it's time to let go and find something new to be happy about instead of moping about. I hear that Trigun anime is pretty neat.

I'm having trouble following Acxa's love life, so first she had an unrequited romance with Zethrid and now she's with Keith?

Okay let me be literal here - Acxa in show has no love life. Or at least, we have no explicit confirmation of a love life. All of these are headcanons based on what we know of the characters and what we can glean from the story told. And then extrapolating from there.

The idea behind zethacxa comes from certain interactions in the Grudge, specifically where Acxa tries to convince Zethrid to stop the hostage exchange with Keith. There, she promises that Zethrid could can and should change and if she does she can be "with me[Acxa], and Ezor."* In of itself Acxa says she cares for Zethrid, and Ezor too. But the interesting thing is that Acxa puts herself first. Before Ezor, who you know, is Zethrid's wife.** On one hand, this is meaningless, on the other hand, Acxa is letting out a Freudian slip - implicating that she is (or more accurately should) be a higher priority for Zethrid to change over her own wife.

It could also be cause Ezor left Zethrid on bad terms, and thus Zethrid and Ezor aren't talking (I mean, Zethrid is taking it out on Keith + Acxa instead of trying to talk to Ezor) so maybe Acxa operates on that logic. But if that is so, this means that somehow Acxa, who is responsible for blowing up half of Zethrid's face, is somehow in a better position to connect with her emotionally says a lot about everyone involved.They are so close you all. Either way, Acxa is measuring herself in an equal if not higher level than Ezor in importance for Zethrid, which imho, speaks volumes. And Zethrid also tells Acxa she's "too far gone" which is meaningless really, but it's the type of thing you'd tell someone whom you care for, if at least at one point.

Recall also that Ezor was supposed to have died as well, as one writer on the show admitted pre-s8 that Ezor was dead, but in response to backlash the undid Ezor's death. So in original canon, Zethrid was going to run away with Acxa, and lo and behold, at the end of the episode we have this:

Acxa has and will not give Zethrid any peace cause she cares enough for Zethrid to be with her until she gets better. Your ship could never.

But what does that have to do with past Zethacxa? For that, we look to past canon. Acxa and Zethrid always had a contentious relationship throughout the show. Both are quick fuses, but triggered by different things. Zethrid sought violent thrills, Acxa wants to stick to the plan. Acxa is pissy over incorrect information, Zethrid does not care. Zethrid plans for long-term self-sustainability, Acxa will stick to their current course in hopes of achieving political change. Anything Zethrid does sets Acxa off.

Conflict is a part of their dynamic and since s3 it's been foreshadowed that their arcs will go to a head this way. Now with that one line from the Grudge in mind, reading this animosity shifts slightly. It would be fun, if sometime before the events of the show, if they dated, broke off cause they were to quote Acxa "so full of hate and rage" and cannot carry a normal relationship (I mean, look how zethzor turn out by the Grudge, and Zethrid is older then), and then cause life hates them, they both get recruited by Lotor. Ironic. Their squabbling becomes exes drama. Zethrid is unphased by the shit Acxa pulls in s7 for ex, whereas Ezor took Acxa's leave as personal insult. If Zethrid is used to Acxa being Like That, it would make sense.

Alternatively, Acxa is very emotionally repressed, which given her whole thing with Keith, is a completely sound read of her.

So yeah that's the tea on Zethacxa.

With Keith, I don't really have to explain. Acxa hyper-fixated on him cause he saved her life (She was "born and bred in war" and every person was for themself, so Keith taking his time knowing she's the enemy to save her touched her personally.) and cause he has a freedom to achieve his plans/ideals in way Acxa could never imagine herself doing at that point of time (act 2). She hated him. She cannot let him die. From this, a more mature and self-actualized Acxa could develop an interest in him in act 3 and/or after. It doesn't have to be, nor did the writers want it by the time act 3 rolled around, but there's food there.

In other words - Zethacxa, break up, then kacxa. Or zethzoracxa polycule + Keith fourth wheel. Or very homoerotic intense Zethacxa friendship then kacxa. Or consider - Zethezoracxa but Acxa also has a thing with keith on the side. idk take your pick

(I AM SO SORRY FOR ANSWERING THIS SO LATE ANON!!!)

So basically I got this ship after finding this one fic on AO3 where it’s a side ship so that sparked me an idea.

Then I found this tumblr post that was like “Matt tells Acxa dumb jokes to make her laugh since she’s normally so serious.”

And that whole dynamic sparked an idea

Here are my bullet points:

- Both Keith and Acxa are edgelords in some way and Matt’s the nerd who decided to tag along with them

- Keith and Matt definitely knew each other due to Shiro while they were at the Galaxy Garrison

- It was obvious the writers were trying to hint that Keith and Acxa would’ve had SOMETHING going on but due to the shipping madness that was the peak voltron era they chickened out

- I could see Matt and Acxa having the Star-Lord and Gamora dynamic from the Guardians of The Galaxy movies

- I know the writers gave Matt a robot girlfriend who’s apart of the Rebels but that’s a ROBOT not even a cyborg or something sentient it’s PROGRAMMED but what’s better than a robot partner? Two hot badass alien partners!!!

Also, yes anon Matt is too beautiful for words, it’s a shame s8 gave him that awful haircut, I imagine Matt coming back to Earth with BOTW! Link’s haircut.

Out of all of Voltron the three of them have got the best hair out of the entire series in my opinion.

Matt would be the most laidback chill guy in existence x Keith and Acxa’s fierce overprotective edgy selves.

Hey! So I'll answere only one of the prompts on that post and I'll do the other ones on other posts... ( Except for the prompt 11 that already has been asked by someone esle that asked only one prompt!)

So, Prompt 6: Weirdest place where they had s*x?

Do I need to put a TW or...? meh.

So, know that they had sex on many "public places" like on Pidge's desk (like, in her lab), an elevator, or even in the forest while they were doing camping... Even in Pidge's old tree house (RIP to the plushies that were in there...)

But, one place directly popped in my mind, Idk why... It's not even the weirdest but anyways:

A closet in the Atlas. (during season 8)

I kind of imagine them being next to each other in a meeting and just sharing glances from time to time... After the meeting, they kind of waited for everyone to be gone before to find their hiding place. it was a small closet filled with brooms and cleaning products... IT WAS VERRRYYYYY SMALL. And the door was so thin that they had to be very quiet. But they took the risk, they were sharing rooms with peoples... SO, their room wasn't really an option.

They did their stuffs ( wasn't their first time) and slightly opened the door to see if they could go out of theh closet without getting caught... Acxa was walking through the corridor and well, It was an awkward moment...

I think I didn't dully answered the question... A weird place... That was more "a weird time" than a "weird place"... idk 0_0.

They also definitely did it in Matt's bed. Don't tell him.............. He would never sleep again...

Just a werid thought about a potential voltron reboot. The planed amazon movie is going to stick to DOTU so acxa or a potential character who is distinct enough to be legally distinct seems unlikley. Though if acxa or a similar character appears I don't know if she would have good chemistry with a more moral paragon keith. I also am not sure WEP would let kallura not be cannon again. Someone I think acxa might have good chemistry with is a more angsty loose cannon lance. Of course having keith and allura and lance and acxa be the cannon couples might be werid and confusing. I imagine people fimilar with VLD will be questioning why keith and lance switched love intrests.

Do you still write Voltron fanfiction, it's been a while, but I was hoping for some Kacxa smut?

Keith was nominally the quiet one. People had different names for it. Stoic was one people liked. Strong and silent was flattering but didn't quite cover all the bases. Lance sometimes liked to use the phrase "snooty."

But, Acxa thought as her lover slammed her against the wall, drawing a hiss from her throat, those didn't really cover all the little sounds that Keith could make.

She'd heard him whimper, sob, laugh, cough, make any number of noises, sometimes because of her.

But today it seemed she was the one to be making noises.

With a growl, Keith leaned in and roughly kissed her, his hand holding her in place while Acxa threaded her hands through his hair. They'd been training outside, in the molten heat of a New Mexico summer and they needed to work off some steam.

The dusty ground swallowed the sound of their weapons being dropped, but she could imagine the clatter of them on the metal floor of a ships training deck.

The rip of the top she wore, though, that seemed to put a fire in her belly, enough to begin shucking off Keith's armor to let her get at the tightly corded shoulders and arms.

Now both naked to the waist, Keith laid her down on the ground and began kissing his way to the waistband of her pants and Acxa gasped when his lips met the space between it and her navel.

Yes, she was the one making the sounds right now. But just wait until it was her turn and she got her hands on Keith.
