It seems that Shiro is also excited to have him back, though he also seems dismayed at their lack of being able to find Sam, though that’s neither here nor there right now.
Simply because right now, Pidge is searching through Matt’s room like the little rat that she is in order to see if she can find any dirt on her brother that has built up over their years of separation; he’s stopped being affected by what she had on him before, something about him having more issues that are more pressing to him than petty blackmail she picked up on years before he was shot into space.
Or;
Pidge looks through Matt's things and finds something she thinks she can get some good blackmail on and at first, she's found a gold mine. But for what cost?

Planning for 3 series (of 13 drabbles in total so far, obviously more can come)
Drabbles with platonic klance, Keith and matt being boyfriends in a temporary relationship (healthy, fun, and giving Keith stability because he doesn't need more suffering, thank you very much), and with the only drama of discovering that sexual and romantic attraction are not the same, crisis existential problems of not knowing what to study and feeling that time is running out, etc.

How do Acxa and Keith and Matt sleep at night, like who's in the middle? And what about Kosmo?
They switch around a lot but Matt is mainly if not always in the middle
Kosmo likes to lay on Keith’s lap and hogs the blankets, (Matt thinks it’s hilarious but Keith thinks otherwise)
Matt uses Acxa and Keith as pillows at times he just lays his head on their chests and falls dead asleep
