Kuja tended to make acquaintances with rather humorous ease---likely due to his delicate charm and fantastic wit, he would readily suppose---but oftentimes, despite his sometimes-oracular calculations, even he could not predict the exact direction those meetings would take when navigating the passage of time.
For example, here he was now, in this particular acquaintance’s abode, basically in the throes of completely ransacking his wardrobe, each article of drab attire lifted to examine---each one cursed with a frown from rosy lips.
“I understand the requirement of wearing a uniform whilst present in the workplace, but... you are so very sure that these are the clothes you would prefer to wear when you are off-duty?” he repeated, the question paraphrased in yet another way for what he felt was the dozenth time---for he had certainly seen folks wearing plain, comfortable clothing, and could understand those choices, but there was simply something so dreary in this selection his acquaintance had presented to him, it nearly astonished him. “And you truly do not even accessorize? No bracelets or necklaces? Nothing?”
Oh, the horror---the fashion atrocity.
Something had to be done---swiftly and immediately.
