A/N: Omg omg omg this is my first request, this is so exciting! This request is so cute, I hope you like it! Also I'm sorry for some of the writing is in third person, I just don't really like first person. And I'm sorry this took too long, I'm quite busy with stuff(school) atm. And now because of this request, I wanna make a prince Friederich fanfic lol but I hope you guys enjoy this one-shot!!(Also this isn't proofread so if there are any errors do tell me!)
Y/n groaned at the thought, they were going to yet again another ball, y/n loved being a royal and all but that meant they had the possibility of seeing him, Prince Friederich, Y/n had mixed feelings about him, they would love him and then the next minute, they hate him. As I finally laid down on the couch, my mother busted in, causing them to jump up.
"Mother, what is it? Why must you rush in here as if I did something wrong?!?" I asked.
"Oh no dear, it's just your dress is finally done! You just have to wear it for tonight's ball." Y/m/n explained as she gave you the dress. "Doesn't the color look nice?"
I had to agreed, the colors on the dress were absolutely stunning, y/f/c always looked good on them, always.
"Well I must agree, the dress does look nice." I agreed.
"Perhaps you might even find the one," Y/m/n teased.
"You said that as the last fifty balls," I exaggerated. "It seems people only see me for my looks Mother, nothing more, I told you many times that I wanted to marry for love."
"Then find someone you love, my dear. You know I will always support you." Y/m/n smiled at you and left moments after.
Y/n changed into the dress and was suprised on how the dress complimented her very well.

"Yes mother I am ready to go," I placed the tiara on her head. "Thank you but we must not make haste," I reminded.
"Oh yes yes!" Y/m/n exclaimed. "We shall go to the carriage at once." Y/m/n announced.
Y/m/n linked her arm with Y/n and they left and headed to the ball, moments later, they had arrived.
"I'll be on the lookout for potential suitors, and you Y/n shall be the princess you are and dance with two men tonight." Y/m/n said.
"One," I corrected.

"Good, Ah I think I see the Duchess of Hastings right there. I'll leave you be mother!" I called out.
Before Y/n could make her way to Daphne, she was stopped by the one of the many men she didn't want to see tonight.
"You highness, Princess Y/n," Lord Gray bowed down infront of her. "May I have your first dance?" He asked, holding out his hand.
Y/n was about to tell him off when someone did it for her and she didn't have to turn around to know who it was.
"Actually, the Princess had already offered her first dance on her dance card with me." Prince Friederich explained.
"Oh, I see," Lord Gray seemed to buy the lie and walked away.
"Shall we?" Friederich held his hand out.
Y/n only glared at him before taking his hand, the two royals made their way to the dance floor.
"Now look at what you did," I whispered. "I only wanted to dance with one man tonight and now you're fulfilling my mother's wishes and I'm going to dance with two."
Prince Friederich only snickered in response.
"Well I apologize for doing that but it seemed like you didn't want to dance with him." Friederich stated the obvious.
"Yeah well I didn't want to dance with you either and here we are." I smiled sarcastically.
"You can blame my aunt on that, she actually insisted I'd dance with you first tonight." He replied.
Prince Friederich dipped you and pulled you close, making you gasp, he noticed this and backed away. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" I asked confused.
"For making you uncomfortable," He answered rather quickly.
"If anything, you actually made me feel more safe from the viscount, I can see him glaring at us" I laughed and smiled at him, causing him to smiled back as he pulled you in close again.

"Y/n, Oh Miss Y/n! Wake up! Your highness, it is urgent!" Evelyn, one of the lovely servants shook you awake.
"I'm up," I mumbled, not fully awake.
"Lady Whistledown wrote about you and the Prince from the dance, you must read!" Evelyn exclaimed.
"Can I atleast get out of my bed first?" I asked, Evelyn nodded excitingly before leaving.
Y/n got up and ready and finally headed down the stairs where they was greeted by not only Evelyn but their mother as well.
"So Lady Whistledown wrote about me in her paper?" I asked.
Y/m/n nodded happily and gave you the paper. When you were shocked, Lady Whistledown wrote about the two of you dancing and how you two would make quite a lovely couple but before you could read anymore, you got called upon by Prince Friederich, he seemed to have read the latest issue quickly this morning.
"Your highness," Evelyn bowed down at him before he stopped her.
"Oh please, just call me Friederich, is Y/n awake yet? I hope I didn't wake her, I just wanted to have a little chat." Friederich smiled.
"And does your little chat include those lovely y/f/fs?" I asked.
I made my way to him and Evelyn, who now exited the room once she took notice of my appearance.
"Oh these," Friederich looked at them as well. "I didn't send them, maybe Lord Gray no Gary sent them." He teased.
Due to his teasing, I snorted and I quickly covered my mouth in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry," I apologized. "I normally never do that."
"It's fine, it was quite adorable if I were to be honest." Friederich smiled.
I blushed at his words and smiled softly but quickly changed my expression as I still had no idea what he was doing here so I asked. "Well if you will allow me to Prince-"
"Friederich," He cut you off.
"...Friederich, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"I was just going to ask if well considering what Whistledown wrote about us, maybe she should write about us even more if you give me the opportunity to court you and take to on a promenade?" He asked.
My eyes widened at his words, he wanted to court me out of all people but I realized that maybe this was just his aunt's doing.
"Are you sure that you want to court me and this isn't your aunt's doing because if it is then I'm gonna have to-" I was cut off again.
"No!" He exclaimed before clearing his throat. "My apologies, I did this on my own. My aunt has no idea I am even here." He chuckled.
"Oh, then yes, I would be delighted to be courted by the only prince I seem to know." I laughed.

Y/n and Friederich have been courting for quite awhile now, making this their fifth time going on a promenade, Y/n had developed feelings for him and was wondering just as everyone else was thinking once they saw the latest issue "When will he propose?"
"This is the fifth time we're out to promenade, can we please go somewhere else Friederich?" I asked in a hushed whisper. "The sun is practically setting!"
"Please Y/n, just called me Freddie and to answer your question, we can't go somewhere alone, you know that but perhaps a boat ride would be nice."
"Or hunting or we can pretend to get lost in a flower field?" I suggested.
"A flower field would be nice, hm there is one there," He held up his arm. "Shall we go?"
"We shall," I smiled. "Mother, we'll be right back. We're going to pick some flowers from the field!"
"Okay, stay safe!" Y/m/n exclaimed.
But Y/m/n was distracted with Lady Danbury that she didn't even notice that the two royals weren't going to the flower field but instead the woods.
"Ah the woods, why did you take us here Freddie," I asked.
Friederich blushed at the nickname even though he suggested it but brushed it off.
"I wanted to look at the nature, nature is quite interesting. I mean just look at that bird!" He exclaimed in a hushed whisper.
"That bird does look quite fascinating." I comments, making him smile wide.
"I never saw those in Prussia so they are new to me," Friederich revealed.
"Well maybe if you stay here a little longer then maybe you'll see more," I smiled at him.
"Yeah maybe," Friederich smiled.
I took my eyes off him and laid down to look at the sunset, He laid down beside me.
"It's quite beautiful isn't it?" I asked, referring to the setting sun.
"Yeah, it's breathtaking." He whispered, still staring at me.
I looked back at him when he was indeed already staring, he didn't take one look at the sunset and kept his eyes on me. I blushed and tried to look away when his hand caressed my face and leaned in, he kissed me and I kissed back. When we broke apart, he sat up, I repeated the action and we kissed again, he mumbled something in the kiss that I couldn't decipher..
"Freddie, what did you say?" I asked, my hand resting softly on his cheek.
"I wish to marry you Y/n, I'm in love with you." He confessed.
"The night of the ball when we danced, I lied to you, my aunt didn't say anything about you at all, I chose to dance with you that night because not only are you breath taking, you are the only person that I love competing with and poking fun at with, you're the only person who knows the real me and I love for that, I love that you let me in and that you trust me and you share all your conspiracies about who Whistledown is, you're the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, kids or no kids, in London or in Prussia. I want you just the way you are because I'm smitten and I love you oh so much. And I completely understand if you don't desire me the same but I couldn't keep it in any longer and I-" Friederich was cut off by you kissing him again, more passionate this time.
When you pulled away, you spoke. "I love you too, I would say that I want you but that's a lie, I need you and I just can't possibly see my life without you in it. Without you, I could probably be married to Lord Gray and I know we are both happy that isn't the reality," We both chuckled before I continued. "Freddie, just know this. No matter where we are or who we're with, I will always be looking at him and with you because you are now my husband to be, and I wish to be your wife forever." I confessed.
I rested my head on his chest and I heard his heartbeat making me calm, I closed my eyes and hugged him, he hugged me back.
"Your wish has been granted, my love." Prince Friederich kissed the top of my head.

Tan skin, dark brown eyes, glasses, and wild, curly brown hair. They gave up hopes of taming it years ago and now it just does whatever it wants
5’4” and insists that they aren’t short, they’re average, thank you very much
Plus-size. They’re soft and round. It makes them a good pillow and they’re proud of it :)
Mixed-race, half Asian
Big fan of turtleneck sweaters, to hide the scar on their neck from where Murphy bit them
No combat abilities! Can’t fight to save their life. It doesn’t stop them from trying, much to N’s distress
Good with teamwork on the job, but fiercely independent outside of that

It started when they were a child, and had to raise themself because Rebecca was never around. They didn’t need anyone making decisions for them growing up, they don’t need anyone now. They can look after themself
(At least, that’s what they think)
Very poor relationship with Rebecca. Unless it’s job-related, they don’t want much to do with her
A little impulsive, more likely to go with gut instincts. Usually it ties in to their attempts to help in fights (and failing). N is going to have a heart attack
Speaking of which, they appreciate how much N cares, but the overprotectiveness is an ongoing issue

Norwegian Bokmål for Total Beginners (January 2024 Crash Course)
10. Possessive Pronouns
Hello all! Today we're looking at possessive pronouns. We get a little grammar heavy here, but I'm sure you'll pick it up. You may notice that most have different forms... yep, they correspond to gender! More on that in a minute.
min (m/f) mi (f) mitt (n) mine (pl) - my/mine
din (m/f) di (f) ditt (n) dine (pl) - your/yours (sing)
sin (m/f) si (f) sitt (n) sine (pl) - his/her/hers/their/theirs (one's own)
hans - his (another person's)
hennes - her, hers (another person's)
hens - their, theirs (another person's)
vår (m/f) vårt (n) våre (pl) - our/ours
deres - your/yours (pl), their/theirs (plural, another person's)
Grammar
Possessive pronouns can come either before or after the noun. When placing it after the noun, you need to use the definite form. Both of these sentences are correct ways to say "my car is red":
Bilen min er rød.
Min bil er rød.
The first one is a more common and neutral structure. The second puts emphasis on the pronoun. Say someone asked you: "is this your car?" And the car is blue, you might say, "nei, min bil er rød" (no, my car is red).
For feminine nouns, you can use either the masculine form or the feminine form, but you can't mix and match:

You can also use possessive pronouns on their own to mean mine/yours/ours/theirs:

Sin/si/sitt/sine or hans/hennes/hens/deres?
Both sin/si/sitt/sine and hans/hennes/hens/deres refer to third person. Sin/sitt/sine refer to the subjects own object, while hans/hennes/hens/deres refer to someone elses. Take a look at these sentences:
Ingrid liker søstera si.
Ingrid liker søstera hennes.
Both these sentences can be translated as "Ingrid likes her sister". But in the first sentence, we're talking about Ingrid's own sister. In the second, we're talking about another girl or woman's sister.

A = Affection (What’s their primary way of showing they care?)
Acts of service. This man does everything for you. He cooks for you, would do your laundry, carries your things, etc. He’s so used to giving to the ones he loves that it’s become his love language.
B = Body (what is their favorite part of your body?)
He’s a hip kind of guy. He loves resting hid hands on them and holding them. Darry likes pulling you close by the hips and pressing quick, gentle kisses on your temple.
C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)
It’s hard to get him to cuddle with you outside of when you’re about to settle in for the night. He’s always tired from work and has a bunch of responsibilities on his shoulders that he never has time to think about it.
But when you wake up in the morning you’re always in his arms. He normally has you in this bear hug that impossible to escape from, though that’s never a problem because he wakes up before you.
D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)
Dates with him are also pretty uncommon due to time and financial struggles. But when he gets the chance he takes you out to dinner and then you two go for a short drive before going home.
E = Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)
Darry’s so used to worrying about everyone else’s feelings that he just pushes his aside. So if you want him to get it out, you have to sit him down and convince him to talk to you about it. His emotions often only come out as frustration and stress. When this happens, he’s a lot quieter and tends to hold you tighter than before.
F = Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)
He would definitely want a family with you, though you basically already have one. He doesn’t want it to be too big, just him, you, and one or two kids.
G = Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?)
As said before, financial issues holds him back from giving gifts. But if he has the chance, he’ll buy you some flowers and follow it up with long, passionate kisses.
H = Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)
When you two are having important discussions, he does that super romantic thing where he grabs both your hands and looks you in the eyes. Let me tell you, it gives you butterflies.
I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)
It’s a mix of anger and worry. He’s pissed at whoever did it, of course. But he’s also very worried about your physical and emotional condition. He’d force himself to stay calm and fix you up and treat you gently. The gang would probably be the ones to go out and find whoever did this to give him a piece of Darry’s mind.
J = Jokes (do they like to joke around with or prank you? how?)
Darry doesn’t joke often because he’s such a serious guy. Of course you two laugh together and have fun, but he’s not the prank kind of guy.
K = Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)
Around the house kisses on the cheeks, temples, and hands. Around others Darry’s kisses are normally quick and don’t last long. But when you two are alone he’s quicker to kiss you deeper and longer, with more passion.
L = Love (how do they tell you they love you?)
He does it very quietly when you two or either alone or very close together. He looks you in the eyes and gets this cheesy grin on his face. He tells you he loves you then gives you a passionate kiss.
M = Memento (Are they sentimental? Do they keep reminders of you?)
He’d keep things you give him like letters or a necklace, but he’s not going to obsess over keeping a memento of you.
N = Nightmare (what is their worst fear?)
Having no choice but to leave you. Weather it’s because of class difference or housing situations, Darry’s biggest fear is you two splitting up with no hope of ever getting back together.
O = Oddity (what is one quirk they have?)
He stares at your lips when you talk. He doesn’t mean to, he just does.
P = Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)
Cute names like honey. He bases his romantic side on what he saw his dad do, so his love is very old fashioned.
Q = Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)
Cooking and cleaning and doing things around the house. Darry has responsibilities that he knows he has to take care of, so it’s so much better to do it with you.
R = Rhythm (what song reminds you of them?)
Ain’t No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. That’s it. Just that song.
S = Secrets (how open are they with you?)
He likes to be open with you. His parents taught him and his brothers that honesty is the best policy, so lying isn’t common in the Curtis house.
T = Time (how long did it take you to get together?)
It didn’t take too long. You two are probably high school lovers, so your first date was probably before be got so busy with taking care of his brothers.
U = Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)
He gives you advice when you want it and listens to you rant. He holds your hands in his and nods along with what you’re saying. Then he lets you lay on him and he holds you close.
V = Vaunt (what are they proud of? Do they like to show you off?)
He’s proud to be with you, but he doesn’t see the need to show you off. He treats you like he normally does. Besides, with how busy he is, who’s he gonna brag to? No one wants to get on Darry’s bad side, so of course most people leave you alone.
W = Wildcard (What’s a random relationship headcanon?)
You two are that one unfortunate couple who has to plan for sex. It’s so sad because he’s only 20.
X = X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)
He’s fairly good at it. When he pays attention, he’s able to tell what you’re thinking and what you’re feeling.
Y = Yearn (What makes them miss you?)
Being without you when he has some time to rest. He’s always working and he’s always busy, so of course he’d want to rest with you.
Z = Zeal (what gets them excited?)
Seeing you get along with his brothers and the gang. That’s his family, so he practically jumps for joy when he sees you being part of it.

I've see some people claim that latinx is only used in Spanish for writing as a placeholder for saying -a or -o, i.e. as an unknown gender marker rather than a neutral gender marker, but given that I've seen people using it for a neutral gender I'm sort of sceptical. Just wondering if this is actually a way some people use it or not?
This is a complicated question!
There are two conversations around gender-neutral Spanish, one that focuses on feminism (using the masculine for mixed groups treats men as the default kind of person, etc) and one that focuses on things like "we can't even talk about nonbinary people properly the way language works now". The first angle is substantially more prominent, and while the second has been gaining visibility it had almost none previously.
Gender-neutral -x was a more common option a while back, and is less comnmon now. Which means that it was most visible at the time where there mostly wasn't any public discourse around nonbinary people, and so how it integrates them is not really clear.
You could, if you cared to, make an argument that -x represents "either a or o" (much like -@), and so is not inclusive of enbies. You could also make the argument that, being neither a or o, it automatically includes them.
There's also a convention, I don't know how widespread, of using X as an alternative for F or M in gender fields. That change in context might argue in favour of -x being inclusive by analogy, even though it's not really "the same" X.
These arguments are, ultimately, meaningless: it'd be spectacularly rude to tell an enby "no, sorry, this way of talking about yourself you like is Officially Wrong, here I have an argument about the use of variables in equations in math". It focuses on entirely the wrong thing.
I think -x will continue to be phased out in favour of -e, and this argument will hopefully resolve itself in Spanish grammar having a generally accepted way of talking about people in a gender-neutral way. But in the meantime, if someone says they like the use of -x for themselves, then, y'know, they do, and if they don't they don't.

What happens when you mix an insane writer’s obsession with Digimon and Undertale. You get fanfiction where a Digimon tamer ends up rooming with a bunch of skeletons while hiding their trouble making little imp.
Cynebil finally gets into the college major they’ve always wanted, but the college they want is pretty far away. So, after some looking and asking around, an old friend of theirs offers to allow them to stay with him and his friends until they could find an apartment or somewhere else to stay. Cynebil is ecstatic to hear this, but has some doubts when they remember that no one knows about Digimon. Even though monsters have been living on the surface, no one, people or monster, had heard of Digimon.
So, after some careful consideration, Cynebil figures that they could simply have Zel, their impmon hide and stay in their room most of the time. And he could always be allowed to go outside and walk around on his own when he felt cooped up. It shouldn’t be too difficult to keep one little secret. Especially from… ten skeletons.
