#Willy Wonka is just another Weasley

Ok. Hear me out.
Willy Wonka is just the Weasley Twins muggle business. They LITERALLY just took out the Wizards and it’s Willy Wonka. WW.
They canonically sell muggle things out of WWW. So come on. Think about it.
Give me Wonka Weasleys Pleasley
Tumblr media
And after Fred died, there probs was a moment where George didn’t want to be around Magic for a while. Since it just reminded him of Fred. So maybe Wonka could have been a means to still keep inventing, and keeping Fred’s memory, while taking a healthy break from the magic world. JUST THINK ABOUT IT-!
Tumblr media
((Also like. Bro. JKR, that dang puta, really wasn’t subtle in basing the twins on Willy Wonka. Like come on. You know she did. You know she did))

CaTcF Sibling AU
Got another Wonka AU for y'all. One where the ticket winners (and Wonka) have a sibling, as the title implies.
Wonka Bros.: Willy and Wallace Wonka, a truly mischievous pair these two; love pulling tricks, jokes, and mayhem and above all: chocolate and candies. They’ve mastered the craft and can create things one might think not possible. Even going as far as to switch around their names. Only Charlie with his keen eye to the details is able to tell which of the two is which. Attire based on barber shop quartets. Inspiration, the Weasley brothers, Fred and George and Wallace from Wallace & Gromit.
The Buckets: The young Charlie Bucket was always an optimist. The family's shimmer of sunshine in their unfortunate living situation. The eldest, Lisa, has been more of a realist. Trying to ease her brother into the reality of things as he gets older. Their grandparent, Grandpa Joe, told stories of the candy magicians that were the Wonka Brothers. How he, and his own late brother, worked for him years and years ago before they had to close the factory. The mix of his brother's passing and losing his job, he fell into a depression. Fate smiled upon them one day with the announcement of the tour of Wonka Brothers' famous chocolate factory. The winners being the ones who find any of the 5 hidden golden tickets under the wrappers of the bars of chocolate. As more of the tickets got found, it seemed very bleak that Charlie, an admirer of the factory, would find one... but it was something she herself had hoped he would indeed find. Wanting to believe that there was that small chance. Lo and behold, Charlie had found it! The last golden ticket, in a Wonka chocolate bar given to him by Lisa w/ some money she found on her way to walk him home from school. The Gloops Bros.: “🎶 One fat, one tall, one small, all round as a butterball 🎶” (rhyme by Illord aka @mask131) Augustus Gloop, the middle child. Enjoys a variety of greasy foods and meats; Dudley Gloop, is the eldest. Eats the least of the three and has a wider variety of food picks, but never exercises. So the fat just built up gradually. First name lifted from Harry Potter's cousin of the same name. Lazy; Pudgley Gloop, the youngest. Eats lots of sugary foods. Very messy and a slob. Their fates in the Chocolate Room is that they fall in after tripping over each other close to the river’s edge and all three fall in, w/ each one goes up a separate pipe to a different room. The Beauregardes: Violet and her brother Lavender, are always engaging in competitions and trying to one-up the other in some capacity. From their wardrobe, hairstyles, and gum chewing records. Always arguing who did what better and always trying to be the “first”. Later in the Inventing Room the brother and sister split the three course gum in two while fighting over it. Both reach the desserts, blueberry pie, and swell up into two big blueberries. Even then, the two continue to bicker and argue as they're rolled away to the juicing room. The Salt Twins: Veruca (the one in green) and her twin Kerra (the one in pink) are very bratty, aggressive, and stingy with sharing with the other. If one wants a pool, the other will want an entire water park. Kerra's name is an acronym for Keratosis, like how Veruca is named after a wart that grows on the foot). Colours picked inspired by the Tramaine sisters, Drizella And Anastasia. The tour group soon reaches the Egg and Nut Room, where the nuts are sorted by squirrels and golden chocolate goose eggs are collected, one cries about wanting a squirrel while one wants a golden chocolate goose. They try and fail to obtain their desired animal and end up going down the garbage chute to the furnace room. The TeaVees: Basically the opposite of the Bucket siblings. Never get along and not all that close. Mike is the oldest on the tour. His little sister, Meggy, highly enjoys her children's programs in excess. Both bicker over control of the TV remote. Of the two Meggy is the more mature one. Mike is always picking on her and taking her toys and breaking them. Is asked by their parents to keep Mike in line with his behaviour, "Otherwise [she'll] tell mom". On the last room visited during the tour, Mike takes her toy doll and teases Meggy with keeping out of her reach. The scuffle ends with Mike on the platform and beamed into the TV and pulled out the screen. Reduced to doll size... now Meggy is the "big" sister. Inspiration, Sid and Hannah from Toy Story.

Writing Advice: Plus size characters
Tumblr media
Hi!
Before we begin, my posting schedule has started to change from Thursdays to Fridays because of school. So yeah. That’s that.
All right. Plus size characters. Why now, you ask? Because I felt like talking about it. And because I’m pretty sure my friends and family were tired of me talking about it, so now I put my ideas down on paper (or more appropriately, on screen!). I know this is something we don’t talk about much, but the amount of fatphobia I find in children’s fiction is staggering. Later in this post that has become an essay, I will be giving advice that could apply to virtually any plus size character, in any genre, but I will be talking from the perspective of someone who, these days, reads mostly in her main writing genre, A.K.A. middle grade fiction. Stay tuned for a few pieces of advice on writing plus size characters at the end.
First of all, why middle grade fiction?
I blame J. K. Rowling for this. I know, I know. It’s easy to critique J. K. Rowling nowadays, with Fantastic Beasts, Cursed Child and the History of North America being terrible for representation of any kind. So let me say this beforehand. Harry Potter is a staple of the genre (this book series is mainly what made the middle grade fiction genre in the first place) and is, unavoidably, one of the most important book series in modern literature. Full stop. I’m also a Harry Potter fan, Hufflepuff through and through. I have to admit though, I mostly watched the Harry Potter movies growing up and haven’t read all the books.
Okay. With all that out of the way. From what I remember in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone...
*Sigh*... It’s bad, you guys.
Whenever the Dursleys are mentioned as being evil (which, of course, they completely are!) it’s in relation to their weight. Dudley is a pig (and gets transformed into one by Hagrid, traumatising him for life probably) and Vernon becomes purple like a plum, because of his round face. He also looks like a walrus, because of his weight and his silly moustache. Sure, Petunia looks like a horse because she has a long, slim neck and a weird-looking face, but Petunia will also become the most important character out of the three Dursleys, being Harry’s biological aunt and Lily’s sister. She gets a full on backstory and character development.
You see where I’m going with this?
I’m not saying that plus size people can’t be villains (in real life or books!). Of course, they can be! There are evil people everywhere. And JKR definitely wanted to contrast Harry’s small stature (being underfed, malnourished and abused) with Dudley’s (who is loved and spoiled rotten by his parents). But in fiction, you have to be careful with the words you choose. Be sensitive. Characters can be hated, but the point of view (omniscient or first person) doesn’t have to always correlate their weight with their evilness.
To mention another example that doesn’t have anything to do with HP, remember Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? He’s basically dehumanized (he’s just a boy, after all) BECAUSE he eats all the time and gained weight because of it. Of course, all those kids are treated terribly by Willy Wonka to, again, show how privileged they are compared to poor little Charlie. But see how it’s because of his weight that Augustus, the only “fat kid” of the bunch, gets hated, though? I’m only referring to Augustus because, well, Roald Dahl in 1964 played a part in putting fatphobia in children’s fiction. Fatphobia in children’s fiction has deep roots. It’s just unfortunate that in 2019, it’s still a problem.
To go back to JKR and the Dursleys (because OH BOY is there a lot to say about the Dursleys)... It’s bad. And it doesn’t get any better. Especially when it’s only after Dudley loses weight (he goes on a diet in Goblet of Fire because he, according to Wikipedia because I haven’t read the book, COULDN’T FIT IN HIS SCHOOL UNIFORM!!!) that he gets a redemption arc (in Deathly Hallows). What do you think that did to a generation of kids who, like me, had/have trouble finding clothes their size? Especially school uniforms that were never flattering? I may not have realized that when I was younger, but that still seeped under my skin. Not just because of the Dursleys, but also society at large.
Now, as an addendum to this section and to be fair to JKR, there are other plus size characters in her books. Neville (who was thin in the movies), Mrs. Weasley and Hagrid come to mind. But then again, I don’t think that’s good in any way. Most of the characters are thin, for the most part. Enough has been said about Neville, Hagrid is his weight because he’s half non-human and Mrs. Weasley is always described as “pleasantly plump” from what I remember. So if you’re nice, you’re “plump”. If you’re mean, you’re “fat”.
Okay. Deep breath. Rant mostly over.
Second of all, why is Harry Potter so important now? It’s been over for years!
Well, no, it hasn’t. Fantastic Beasts is still going, for one. And though I love Jacob, the fact his weight can’t be disassociated with the fact he’s a baker who also worked in a sardine factory beforehand (really?? food?? again???) and CAN’T FIT INSIDE NEWT SCAMANDER’S SUITCASE EVEN THOUGH A MAGICAL RHINO DOES rubs me the wrong way. Besides, JKR’s fatphobia has also seeped into fandom space and you can’t read a HP fanfiction without encountering fatphobia. But that’s a matter for another day.
What’s really important here is legacy. As I said before, Harry Potter is one of the most important works of fiction in modern literary history. It paved the way for modern children’s fiction, notwithstanding 20th century books (The Chronicles of Narnia and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory come to mind) that aren’t getting any younger. Nowadays, it’s hard to find a middle grade book that doesn’t have an ounce of fatphobia. It’s become… casual. Accepted. In a book I opened not long ago (I’m paraphrasing here), one of the villains was described as “obese” and his mastermind plan was, instead of plotting to take over the world or something, to eat everything in his path, including the heroes ON THE VERY FIRST PAGE. I closed the book, never to be read again.
Which is a bummer. Because I want to read more books. Especially in middle grade, because I adore this genre. But because fatphobia is so pervasive to this genre, after a while, it gets difficult to stop caring. At first, you wrinkle your nose. Then, you get angry. And it really starts to hurt. And I’m not even the target audience! Children are! This is the reason why I want to be a sensitivity reader, one day.
Third of all, the advice for writers. How can you avoid this?
1. On terminology: I hate the words “fat” and “obese”. Some people don’t. I do. Those words have been used as insults against me. And sometimes, not even on purpose, but on accident! I prefer “plus size”, “chubby”, “overweight” (use that word with caution, though, sparingly, and please, not as a negative but simply as a descriptive word), “plump” (remember Molly Weasley? That was good, but don’t do what JKR did by making her plum and the Dursleys “fat”). “Stout” or “corpulent” are also good.
2. Don’t associate overweight = evil. It’s okay to write plus size villains (if you must), but be kind to them. Give them a personality other than “““glutton”””. Give them a fully-fleshed out backstory that doesn’t have anything to do with food (see: Jacob in FB). What works with villains works with heroes, but be even more extra careful.
3. Everybody gotta eat, right? If you show your characters eating, show them all (or more than one) eating at the same time. Probably around the table (as a nice ritual of sorts!). But don’t let your ONE plus size character eat and eat and eat in the background, never talking (that’s a mistake I saw in the anime Little Witch Academia, which is to say, fatphobia is present in all genres).
4. This relates to the last point, but don’t have only one plus size character. In one of my favourite movies, The Greatest Showman, I didn’t care that one of the characters was “the fattest man on Earth”. Why? Because KEALA SETTLE IS RIGHT THERE. She has a fully-fleshed out backstory that doesn’t have anything to do with her weight. Or food. (Though it could’ve gone a different way; the Bearded Lady is thin in concept art, after all, I’m eternally happy they reconsidered for Keala). And BTW, you don’t need to give a supernatural explanation for their weight (see Hagrid). If you do have non-human plus size characters, let there also be human plus size characters.
5. Don’t use “fat jokes”. Those are boring and cliché. Like with Dudley and the pig tail. Or… Ha, ha. The “fat guy” is too big, so he gets stuck in a ventilation vent. A thin guy has to get him out! How pathetic. Bleh. And it’s not just in books! They pop up in movies and TV shows, too. Don’t. Just don’t.
6. Last but not least, if you need help figuring out if one of your characters is insensitive, ask sensitivity readers! Ask your friends. Or your family! Just be kind when you’re asking. Explain the situation and if they say they’re not interested, don’t push.
Thank you for reading this (if anyone’s still reading this mess of an essay).
Stay inspired!

If you are a fictional fan of the magic world, then you certainly cannot miss this series: Harry Potter Audiobooks. With a large audience of all ages, the seven-part audiobooks and eight parts of the movie have never been a fever for all those who love the world only exist in this imagination.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone Audiobook – Where the magic and childhood of many children born
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone Audiobook free download (also called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Audiobook) is a fantasy audiobook, written by British author J. K. Rowling. The first audiobook in the Harry Potter Audiobook series and Rowling’s debut novel. She shared the idea of a cunning boy when she was on a 4-hour train departure from Manchester to London and then she started this greatest series at a coffee shop.

Audiobook Summary
Ten-year-old Harry Potter is an orphan who lives in the fictional London suburb of Little Whinging, Surrey, with the Dursleys: his uncaring Aunt Petunia, loathsome Uncle Vernon, and spoiled cousin Dudley. The Dursleys barely tolerate Harry, and Dudley bullies him. One day Harry is astonished to receive a letter addressed to him in the cupboard under the stairs (where he sleeps). Before he can open the letter, however, Uncle Vernon takes it. Letters for Harry subsequently arrive each day, in increasing numbers, but Uncle Vernon tears them all up, and finally, in an attempt to escape the missives, the Dursleys go to a miserable shack on a small island. On Harry’s 11th birthday, a giant named Hagrid arrives and reveals that Harry is a wizard and that he has been accepted at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He also sheds light on Harry’s past, informing the boy that his parents, a wizard and a witch, were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort and that Harry acquired the lightning-bolt scar on his forehead during the fatal confrontation.
Upon arrival at the school, the students are sorted into one of four houses – Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin. Harry ends up in Gryffindor, and during his eventful first year at Hogwarts he becomes close friends with two other members of the house, Ron Weasley, who comes from an old wizarding family, and Hermione Granger, whose parents are Muggles (those who are not magical). Harry also finds that he has an enemy in Draco Malfoy (Slytherin). In addition, Harry’s prowess in flying on a broomstick makes him a star of Gryffindor’s Quidditch team. Hoping to get Harry and his friends into trouble, Draco tricks them into leaving their rooms one night, a violation of school rules. While trying to avoid being caught, they discover a three-headed dog guarding a trapdoor. Harry gradually comes to the conclusion that Professor Snape, who teaches Potions, dislikes him intensely and is trying to get hold of whatever is behind the trapdoor. Harry receives his father’s cloak of invisibility as a Christmas gift, and, while exploring under the cloak’s cover, he finds the Mirror of Erised, in which he can see his parents. Later, headmaster Albus Dumbledore explains that the mirror shows the viewer’s deepest desire.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Audiobook 2
Harry, Ron, and Hermione deduce that the treasure under the trapdoor is the Philosopher’s Stone, which can transform metal into gold and can also confer immortality. They later discover that Voldemort has been killing unicorns in the Forbidden Forest and drinking their blood, another way to achieve immortality. The trio comes to believe that Snape is in league with the evil wizard. After learning that Hagrid revealed the secret way to lull the three-headed dog to sleep to a suspicious stranger, whom they believe to be either Snape or Voldemort, they are certain that the Philosopher’s Stone is in danger. The three classmates use the cloak of invisibility on a secret mission to get the Stone themselves to keep it from Voldemort. After getting past the dog and defeating various protective spells, Harry reaches the room in which the Stone is hidden and is surprised to find the perpetually nervous Professor Quirrell there. Quirrell fails to figure out how to retrieve the Stone from the Mirror of Erised (the final protective measure) and forces Harry to try. When standing in front of the mirror, wishing only to protect the Stone and not use it for himself, Harry feels the Stone’s weight in his pocket but refuses to tell Quirrell that he has it. Quirrell unwraps his turban, revealing Voldemort’s face on the back of his head. Voldemort explains that he has been sharing Quirrell’s body until he can get to the Stone and become fully alive again, and Voldemort/Quirrell and Harry fight for possession of the Stone, until Harry blacks out. He awakens in the infirmary and learns that Dumbledore saved him, the Stone is to be destroyed, and Voldemort escaped.
About the movie
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone movie
I feel, next to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Audiobook is the best book-to-movie adaptation that I’ve ever seen.
The sets were stunning – the actors were first rate – the effects were breathtaking. The film flowed quite smoothly in it’s transition from page to screen, never tripping on the awkward conventions that other books on film have struggled with. The screenplay, by Steven Kloves, stripped away all unnecessary elements to get to the root of the story. Though many events from the book were excluded, the essential ones made it to the film. And it makes for one smooth story and very enjoyable movie-going experience.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a fantastic movie for children of all ages. Fans and non-fans alike will enjoy this colorful story of good versus evil and the friendships that endure.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone Audiobook Review
Narrator
There are two versions of the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone Audiobook free, one is narrated by Stephen Fry, the other Jim Dale. Now, you can enjoy both of them on EZ Audiobooks.
Stephen Fry makes the characters even more vivid. His voice for Hagrid is low, gruff and gentle, just what you would expect. Hermione sounds incredibly precocious and annoying but gradually becomes less so as the book progresses. The story wraps you in a warm cloak of positive feelings, happiness and a sense of belonging. Having Fry read such a lovely story to you makes it all the more comforting and enjoyable. Even though Harry Potter is J K Rowlings first audiobook and her prose may be flawed in places, (particularly in the beginning describing life with the Dursleys) Harry Potter is undoubtedly a classic made even more magical by Stephen Fry. I highly recommend this audiobook for all ages.
Jim Dale is another fantastic narrator. Born in England, Dale also has an English accent. Dale is a voice artist, and definitely weighted towards to the dramatized end of the scale. Dale invites a sense of urgency in his voice, and has you on your toes. This increased dramatization, although predominantly great, I feel it is sometimes a little over the top.
Dale is magician in character range; he created 134 voices for the Harry Potter Audiobooks series. This series has given Dale more awards than any narrator previous. His prestige, and breadth of bestseller coverage is rather astonishing.
Story
What makes Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone Audiobook free so wonderful is that it is a wonderful story read to you by a simply wonderful story-teller. Nothing can stop thousands of mums and dads giving the first book in the series a five-star rating. Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone audiobook is an introduction into a world of optimism and hope, where anything is possible. As a result, this audiobook speaks to a younger audience naturally, however, this is a must listen for everyone. How could you not want to live in a world like that?! The audiobooks are creative and fun.

Note
Harry Potter, 19
JESUS CHRIST, GIRL!! CHILL!! O.O
Just note, I am leaving Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them out of this list because.....I’d blown through 1-10 before I thought of it, and it was too late to go back.
19. Peeves Just because the movies ignored him doesn’t mean I have to.
18. Barty Crouch, Jr. My introduction to David Tennant. Holy DAMN can that man be creepy when he wants to be. He was obviously having a blast, though.
17. Viktor Krum aka How Not To Be A Fuckboy/Nice Guy (TM)
16. Molly Weasley “Not my daughter you BITCH!”
15. Albus Dumbledore Even leaving his mentoring Harry out of it, he had a strange, jolly peculiarity to him. You never quite knew what was going on in his head. I liked that. Sorta like a wizardy Gene Wilder’s Willy Wonka.
(Also, Richard Harris is best Dumbledore. =_=)
14. Sirius Black I liked his fun loving attitude. He had the sort of personality that told Harry, “Just because bad things have happened, and just because bad things are happening, it doesn’t mean you have to stop being a kid.” I appreciated that.
13. Remus Lupin He was so sweet and so tragic. He was sorta the kind and quiet uncle that would babysit the fun, drunk uncle (Sirius) until he sobered up. If we called Sirius Harry’s fun, I’d say we’d call Remus Harry’s morality. (Dumbledore was Harry’s wisdom, and Severus--who sadly did not make this list--was his cold, calculating logic, the one who had to step back and look at the facts, no matter how cruel they may be.)
12. Bellatrix Lestrange Bitch was batshit crazy, and I loved it! And Helena Bonham Carter played her PERFECTLY.
11. Mad-Eye Moody Come on. How can that crazy scary man not make this list? He was way too much fun to both read and watch that I had to put him on here.
10. Nymphadora Tonks Ummm, first of all. Hufflepuff. Automatically awesome. Second of all, she was absolutely BADASS. The fact that she and Remus ended up together was both surprising and sweet. They were an odd pair, but they worked well off each other. God, I love her.
9. Minerva McGonagall I almost forgot about her. She was the last one I put on this list, but I absolutely could not leave her off. No way. She was AWESOME!! She was like my eighth grade Texas history teacher (who kinda looked like her, now that I think about it): she was strict as a prison schedule, but I’d gladly take a bullet for the woman.
8. Rubeus Hagrid UMM AGAIN HOW COULD I NOT!!! If Sirius is Harry’s fun, Remus his morality, Severus his logic, and Albus his wisdom, then Hagrid was far and away his heart. And what a big ole heart he has!
7. Ron Weasley I know! Surprising one of the Golden Trio made it so far down on the list, right? Well, as much as I love Ron--and how much I think Rupert Grint was BORN to play the role--he was kinda overshadowed by a few others.
6. Ginny Weasley LIKE HIS BABY SISTER!!! Poor Bonnie Wright had absolutely NOTHING to work with in those damn movies. Ginny could have and should have been so much more than she ended up being. She was figuratively castrated into falling into the Sexy Lamp trope. Still, my memories of Badass Ginny Weasley shall never fade.
5. Neville Longbottom Not only did Matthew Lewis get SUPER HOT during the last few movies, but the character as a whole just grew into this amazing human being. Few would have thought that the quivering, pudge-faced Gryffindor who was always losing his toad would end up playing such an important role in stopping arguably the most evil wizard of all time, not to mention leading the rebellion of students at the Battle of Hogwarts!! Trophy for most improved character over the course of a series goes to this guy right here.
4. Harry Potter Another surprise, no? Not just a Golden Trio member, but the MAIN FREAKING CHARACTER is only number four? Well, again, while he is a compelling character, and we get to watch him grow and become comfortable with who he is, there were just a few characters who overtook him in the emotional attachment department.
3. Dobby Yep. This one hurt. SPOILER: Dobby’s death was the first time I ever cried reading a book, and it’s only happened twice since then. I still remember it to this day. I was twelve, I’d stayed up past my bedtime to read some more of my favorite book series. I literally cried myself to sleep that night.
2. Hermione Granger Yet another formerly favorite character that sunk to the second spot. When I first saw the movies, first read the (first four) books, I was damn sure I was gonna be just like Hermione when I grew up. We both were bookworms, we were both made fun of for being bookworms and actually LIKING school, we both had wavy, kinda messy hair. I thought it was a sign. I was destined to be the Hermione Granger of my town.
Don’t get me wrong. I still absolutely ADORE the character, and I love Emma Watson as an actress. It’s another case where my love for the character hasn’t dimmed. It’s just been outshone.
Before we get to my number one, here are a few honorable mentions:
Severus Snape I wouldn’t say I’m a Snape hater nor a Snape apologist. He did some really shitty things to a bunch of children. C’mon, dude. You’re an adult. They’re children. You’re being a bit of a bully.
But on the other hand, he does have a tragic backstory, one that makes it perfectly understandable why he would grow up so bitter. It doesn’t make it right, but it does put things into perspective. And, in the end, he does redeem himself. Hell, throughout the series, he actually did a number of things I’d consider at least partially redemption-worthy.
He was bitter, but he wasn’t a monster.
Gilderoy Lockhart That man was so flashy and charismatic, even though you knew he was kind of a piece of shit, things were never dull when he showed up.
Fred & George Weasley They’re both still alive. They both still run the joke shop. SHUT UP AND LET ME LIVE IN MY DENIAL!!!
Okay. Now. Finally we get to
1. Luna Lovegood I had caught up to the book series by this point, so when Luna was first introduced, it was still new. No one quite knew what to make of her, in- or out-of-universe. But something inside me always admired how unashamed she was of her weirdness. She knew exactly what the other students thought of her, but she didn’t care. She didn’t feel the need to conform to an image because she was her own person. She liked what she liked, and she wasn’t going to apologize for that. My admiration for those traits only strengthened as I got older, and found myself under the microscope of scrutiny for my own interests. She took over being my favorite character when I got into high school and I realized just how hard it is to be so proud of being weird. I wanna be Luna Lovegood when I grow up.
(Also Nevilluna will always be canon in my heart. >3

Ok! Ok! Real theory Dumbledoor is actually DEATH from that mini story. Think about it! He had all the items that Death supposedly took from the three brothers. That's my favorite Harry Potter theory. Yes. Another one I like is the chantless spoon twirling guy you see reading a science book. I remember reading that chantless magic was super hard, & for him to do it so nonchalantly means that he was in fact, crazy powerful. What are yours? Also, I'm Mico. hello. Yes.
I’m not sure how I feel about the Dumbledore are death one especially with harry, Voldemort and snape being the brothers, my least favourite 2 are harry and Hermione are siblings as there’s just no proof and it’s ridiculous and that the whole thing was made up by harry who was driven insane in the cupboard under the stairs. Some that I do like are: that Rita skeeta is JK Rowling, the deathly hallows courtyard battle are symbolic of all the books, crookshanks was the potters family cat, Hagrid got Aragog from Newt Scamander, the trio chose to be in Gryffindor, hufflepuff are all stoners, George Weasley is willy wonka, Neville is the second chosen one meaning his broom was possessed by quirrell in the first book/film and mrs Norris is Filches wife who was an animagi who got stuck in her animal form. I’ll probably make separate posts about each theory and my understanding of them tomorrow

Harry Potter Fan theories : Vol 1 - The Ridiculous.
I've been looking at so many theories related to the wizarding world of Harry Potter and how believable they actually are on a variety of platforms from Youtube videos to independent online post and collected a few that i thought were especially ridiculous and give you a chance to make your own mind up and maybe give you a different perspective on a series that has been adored for years.
Tumblr media
So we will go from some of the most unbelievable to the most believable theories in two separate posts. I really hope you enjoy this post and don't forget to let me know your views on them in the comments, especially if you know any more and enjoy! °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Most ridiculous : George weasley is Willy Wonka. So. I mean instantly this is laughable but regardless I will explain the thought process behind it. The story is that once George had conquered the magical joke world with weasleys' wizard wheezes he moved on to the food industry after travelling the world as working in his joke shop was too painful for him after the death of his twin. He wanted to bring happiness to as many people as he could. with the amount of crazy food inventions that Mr. Wonka provided and created it wouldn't be a stretch to say that magic was involved somewhere along the line. Unfortunately then the theory wears a little thin, appearing to clutch at straws. There are also a few similarities that some people think are crucial proving this theory as fact but really the only one worth mentioning would be that Mr. Wonka has trouble hearing from the same ear that Georges was injured during the big fight at hogwarts. Also its talked about that in the chocolate factory movie he is found in his office surrounded by half objects. Half a clock half a chair half a figure ect and that is apparently proving that since Fred died George is only half a person and this symbolises his loss and how it still effects him... Sigh. Mary Poppins is a wizard... I know, I know. Just bare with me okay? So as the theory goes, Mary works for the ministry and is obsessed with muggles just like Arthur. So she becomes a nanny to further investigate humans and learn more about them. The fact that she can fly, she takes children into paintings, she has a seemingly Independent reflection and has a bag that holds literally anything and everything regardless of size (Newt scamanders brief case for example) is apparently solid proof for this theory. Snape is a vampire Now before we get into this, I do believe that JK Rowling had some character development ideas in mind that she ended up abandoning as the books themselves developed But this one? I don't think so. So the basics are that in the prisoner of Azkaban lupin plans on teaching a lesson about vampires but in turn misses class because of his "little problem" and snape then takes over the class. He then decides to set a project on werewolves in retaliation. Thus proving that they are both aware of each others conditions and are almost trying to get one up on each other. Although to me it just seems like snape just wanted lupin to be outted as a werewolf to get rid of him. Anyway there are also the facts that snape is known for his pale skin long dark hair and cloak and his basic lack/carelessness of people (Humans) feelings and lack of human interactions. All tell tale signs of a classic vampire. Although JK has debunked this theory herself it could be cool and isnt that far fetched when you really think about it.
Regulus black is crookshanks:
So as I'm sure you're aware Regulus is Sirius' younger brother and we are introduced to crookshanks around the same time we are also Introduced to sirius and we already know that sirius was animagus so would it be that far of a stretch to think his brother could be to? We know it's possible to live in another form for a substantial amount of time as we saw with Peter perigew.
Speaking of Peter, crookshanks was no idiot when it came to rons rat. Throughout the books and movies crookshanks is always chasing scabbers and causing arguments between Ron and hermione. Some fans say this is because the animagus could tell another transfigured person very easily and instantly had an issue with scabbers because of this.
Another point is that the blacks seem to have a knack for naming the children after constellations as sirius is named for the dog star and he took the form of a dog. So isn't it a little odd that regulus is a star featured in Leo. A constellation that is represented by a lion basically another form of a cat.
Now this is a theory I really could of gotten on board with! Yet unfortunately this is another theory that JK has debunked herself.
Ginnys love potion:
So due to the apparent disinterest in Ginny throughout the books on Harry's part, a very popular fan theory is that Ginny used a love potion on Harry. we have seen love potions used before with Merope and Tom and the crazy obsessive girls in Harry's class and have seen why this theory doesn't make that much sense.
A love potion tends to take effect quicker and more intensely than Harry's slight episodes of jealousy for example the love potion that Ron ingested accidently showed him as deranged obsessive fan girl. Which isn't how Harry appeared with Ginny at any point.
