THE VOTES HAVE SPOKEN, EVERYONE WANTS TO HEAR MORE ABOUT MY AU, but first more art like I promised!
Tumblr media
This au doesn’t really have a name atm cuz it was just a fun silly idea I had and had no reason to expand on but that might change if enough ppl want more of it
Anyway, basically in this au Cassie ends up teaming with Mxes and glam Bon and they survive the horrors of the decrepit pizzaplex together now the more in-depth explanation will be down below :D
So before Cass gets to Bonnie bowl Mxes finds a way to communicate with her so the they can finally get her to stop taking apart the nodes and say why they’re up in the first place around the plex, feeling bad about being in the wrong Cassie offers to help set them back up but also asks Mxes for help in finding Gregory cuz that’s why she’s there in the first place. Mxes agrees to help and the two decide go to the last couple of nodes that cas hasn’t turned off yet and find a new place to hide them better. Cassie looks around the bowling alley and stumbles across the entrance to the hidden Bonnie room so she calls Mxes over to ask if this hidden room is a good spot without going into the room itself. Mxes agrees so Cassie starts to move the items into the room by herself cuz Mxes can’t physically interact with them and that’s when the two discover broken glam Bonnie. Cass suggest that Mxes try to control the broken animatronic so they can help her out physically and tada they’re able to control the body but they somehow kickstart Bon’s AI so now they’re back online and the control over the body is split between the two and Mxes can’t force full control so they jump out but without them in there Bon’s AI deactivates. Cassie tells mxes to go back in but they say no until Cassie convinces them by saying that having 3 heads to deal with everything is better than 2 plus she wants to try and fix bonnie like how she did with Eclipse. So they jump back in and the two explain to Bon what happened and Bon agrees to help them and to start off he suggests that they find a security office to look through the old camera footage to see if there any sign of Gregory on them.
And that’s just about everything I have for this au, sorry for the giant wall of text I just copied and pasted this explanation from my discord DM when I explained it to my friend, but uh if y’all want me to make more of this au just let me know by like sending me asks or something

Day 17: King of Hell
“... and I'm saying no!”
“Dean, you always do this. You don't control me, you can't tell me what to do. Just because we're married, doesn't mean I'm your pet to boss around-”
“I'm not saying that, you always put words in my mouth.”
“Ooh did I come in the middle of some juicy squabbling?”
Dean and Cas both turn towards Crowley with identical scowls on their faces.
“Whoa, whoa, squirrel, feathers, I'm here just to make a deal.”
“No deal. Out.”
Crowley puts his hand on Dean's shoulder, making Castiel angrier.
“Get your hand off of him.”
Squeezing Dean's shoulder before he lets go, he smirks at Cas, “Awww are you still upset about what happened ages ago? Dean was a demon. He was willing to do everything to be a bad boy.”
Smiling wide at Cas, Cas punches him right in the face, knocking him down on his butt. Dean simply rolls his eyes, “Cas. We've talked about this. It was a long ass time ago, didn't mean anything to me. Let it go.”
Still scowling over Crowley, he answers Dean, “Never.”
Picking himself up, he brushes off his suit, “like I was saying, I need your help in tracking my mother. You give me her, I give you back your book.”
“You're just a petty little King of Hell, Crowley.” Cas furiously says.
“Deal?”
Sighing, Cas looks at Dean and nods, Dean crosses his arms, “Fine, deal.”
“You know how I seal my contracts, Dean.”
Castiel pushes Crowley back a foot with a forceful hand, “You're changing that part.”
“And miss my kiss with your husband? Why would I want to do that?”
“Because if you kiss my husband, I will rip your heart out where you stand.”
“Cassie, such a flirt.”
Dean clears his throat, getting both guys’ attention, “I said it was a deal but no, I’m not kissing you. Especially not in front of my husband.”
Crowley looks at him up and down with a smirk on his face, “You wanna take it to your bedroom?”
As soon as those words get asked, Dean steps around Crowley to stop Cas from taking out his angel blade.
“Cas, dammit!”
“He’s outwardly coming on to you, Dean. In front of me. I will not have this!”
Dean calls for Sam to help out. As soon as Sam comes out of his bedroom, he freezes, “Holy shit! Crowley! What the hell?”
“Hello, Moose. I just need a little help of tracking down my mother-”
“Rowena? Rowena’s on vacation in Malibu. Some kind of fancy resort.”
“How-how do you know that?” Crowley asks in disbelief.
“She keeps sending me selfies of herself.”
Cas crosses his arms and faces Crowley, “There you go. We helped, now give us back our book.”
Crowley snaps his fingers and Cas and Dean’s wedding book appears on the map table. Sam looks at the book, “Seriously, Crowley? You stole their wedding photography book? Why?”
“I like seeing my Dean happy.”
Cas goes for his pocket once again, Dean stopping him by his wrist, “Cas, honey, you have me, not Crowley.”
Dean kisses Cas and smiles at Crowley, “Go to Hell, Crowley.”
“No kiss for me?” After winking at Dean, he vanishes.
"I hate that guy."
“I know, Cas, I know.”

I love you but I have to let you go. Pt 1
Tumblr media
Summary: you've been dating Cassie for as long as you remember but she cheats on y/n with Nate, which made y/n heartbroken but a certain someone comes knocking on her door.
After that whole fiasco at the play, y/n was walking home in tears, mascara running down her face, crying how Cassie cheated on her with Nate, after all they went through, y/n has been on Cassie's side, ever since her dad left her and Lexi, she has been comforting and been on her side. Y/n has to admit she was jealous when Cassie started dating McKay, even if she was jealous she still supported her, But let's start to where it all began.
Y/n was at home watching the movie Thirteen on her laptop, she heard a knock on the door, so she went downstairs and opened the door to see Cassie wearing a Alabama Worley costume her makeup being Messed up and her breath smelled like alcohol.
"Cassie what are you doing here?" Asked y/n.
"Y/n I did something bad at the Halloween party, please don't hate me." Cassie pleaded talking through her tears
What went through y/n's head was why would she ever hate Cassie?
" I cheated on McKay with Daniel at the carnival and at the Halloween party." Cassie said looking at y/n for an answer but y/n brain was still processing on what to say.
"Cassie, what!?" Y/n said shocked out her mind.
" I know I fucked up y/n, I don't know what to do." Cassie said hugging y/n
"Break up with him." Y/n muttered under her breath, but Cassie heard what she said.
"Your saying that I should break up with him?" Cassie questioned.
"Yes, I'm saying you should break with him, I know you love him and he loves you but it's for the best, I mean I don't appreciate you cheating on him with Daniel but there would be no point of being in a relationship anymore."
"Also, y/n there might be a possible chance that I might be pregnant I haven't told him yet because I'm scared he won't accept it, I don't know what to do."
Y/n just hugged Cassie as she cried.
Weeks later, Cassie and Y/n started dating, ever since Cassie aborted her baby she has gotten closer with y/n, But it all went a little off ever since the new years eve party.
Y/n was at the party dancing with Maddy but she was still wondering where Cassie was.
Y/n has sent Cassie 3 text messages but Cassie hasn't responded.
Y/n saw Lexi and went up to her
"Lex, have you seen Cassie, I've been blowing up her phone but shes not responding." Y/n said, growing concerned for Cassie.
" I don't know, I was in the car with her and we had a huge argument and she just got out of the car."
"Wait, what? Y/n said as she saw Maddy walked pass them as she went to go use the bathroom.
Y/n walked passed Lexi and just sat on the couch growing concerned for Cassie.
Y/n kept texting Cassie but she was stressed because I don't know what's worse Cassie not answering or Maddy not using the bathroom and banging on the door like a crazed killer.
That was when Y/n saw Cassie walking down the hallway.
Y/n ran up to Cassie and hugged her.
"Where have you been? I've been calling you and texting." Y/n said
"Cassie, where the fuck have you been?" Lexi said walking up to Cassie.
Cassie stood there trying to say something but was cut off when Maddy came up and hugged her .
"Hey are ok?" Y/n asked looking at Cassie since she looked so stressed that something bad happened.
"Nothing, I'm just glad I'm here with you." Cassie said as she pecked y/n on the lips reassuring her.
All of a sudden they heard a commotion and see Fez beating the shit out of Nate.
Honestly, Y/n didn't like Nate at all, Which something in the past she regrets, she used to date Nate in the 8th grade, but they got lost in their ways, but nate got distant towards her and broke up with her for no reason.
Fez was beating the shit out of him, as much as y/n disliked Nate, she just hates watching him get beat up into a pulp.
Cassie and Maddy were trying to get Fez off of Nate but he wouldn't budge, what went through y/n's mind was why did cass was so worried about Nate. jealousy struck through y/n but curiosity was mainly what she was thinking.
A group of guys and McKay got Fez to stop, Fez looked angry and walked off.
"Damn." Y/n thought to herself.
(Guys I know its been long since I uploaded but to make it up I wrote this, I been wrote this but I haven't finished writing it because of school, homework, but I'll try to be more active)

OH BABY okay so this was originally the ending to a much bigger fic that I ended up just scraping so sorry if there's a little bit of context missing but I think it'll be ok. Cool.
This is completely non canon to H1VE or anything btw I just couldn't resist making scarab worse
Bug blinked their eyes open, then shut them again. Everything was so... bright. Too bright. It was hard to think through the brightness and the fog in their head.
Had they died again? They assumed so. They only ever felt like this after dying. Had Cassie killed them again? Shit. Cassie.
She blinked her eyes open again and saw Cas staring down at her. She reached out to him.
"Cas.." she whined, "what happened?"
His brow creased. He looked older. More stressed, too.
"Did I die again? How long was it?"
Bug looked around and realized that they had never seen this place before. It didn't look like their apartment, and it didn't feel familiar in any way.
"Where are we?"
Castiel hesitated for a second.
"Bug. Do you want to go home?"
"What?" It took them a second to think through what he was saying. Their head was so foggy. Everything was too bright. They buried their face in Cas's hoodie.
One of Cas's hands found Bug's hair and scratched at it idly. She sighed. Okay. Maybe this wasn't their house. That was fine. This whole situation was fine. Cassie would handle this like he handled everything else.
After a moment, Cas grabbed a fistful of their hair and yanked hard, forcing her to look at him. Some kind of instinctive panic welled up inside of her that Bug did her best to tamper down.
"Do you want to go home?"
"No- I- I mean- I wanna go back to the apartment. I don't recognize this place."
Castiel sighed and dropped the hand in her hair. They stayed put, still looking at him.
"No, not the apartment, do you want to go back to H1VE?"
"H1VE?"
Vaguely, she remembered H1VE, fuzzy memories so-called friends who would only keep her there and force her to kill just like a flinchites and being killed by Cicada and just barely being able to survive.
It was still so hard to think, let alone remember. The memories that resurfaced left them with the feeling like there was a gaping hole in their organs, so they pushed them back down.
"Yes, Bug, Scarab, H1VE. Do you want to go back? I can take you back."
"Why would I wanna go back?"
The confusion on his face was almost cute, before it soured, and then sharpened.
"They- fuck, Bug, why do you have to make this so complicated? They're gonna miss you, they do miss you, probably a lot."
They blinked. "No they don't." He told them so themself. He was right.
Cas rubbed his face, then suddenly stopped, and grabbed their hand.
"Bug, what happened to your wedding rings?"
"Oh, you didn't like them, so I threw them away. They're probably long gone."
Cas rubbed his face and sighed again. "Do you not remember? Do you just not care? B0UNTY? Jessie? Fox? Capybara?"
Fox. Capybara. That struck something within them. Fox. Capybara. The feeling was back, like there was a giant gaping wound in their chest. Capybara. Fox.
"Fox.." they whispered, almost reflexively. Cas gripped their hand tighter.
"Yes, Scarab. Fox. And- and Capybara, and the rest of them. Do you want to go home?"
All of these emotions and thoughts and feelings were all just too much for her. It was still so hard to just think. How long had she been dead? Where were they?
She snuggled back into Cassie's chest.
"No. They don't- they don't love me." It was harder to say than usual. "I'd rather stay here with you."
Cas pushed her off of him, and held his knife to her throat, right up against her tattoo. The knife that had taken her life so many times.
"Do you want to go home? Back to H1VE? Back to B0UNTY and Jessie?"
They shook their head, smiling. He pressed down harder.
Somehow, they knew he wasn't going to revive them this time. That was okay. They didn't mind dying at his hands.
They loved him. They loved him they loved him they loved him.

Heyyyy… had to get one of my ear piercings re-done today and it’s still sore (own stupid fault for not wearing earrings for about a million years) and I’m feeling sorry for myself. I feel like a cure would be some Family of Destruction where Taker and l’il Cassie have a Daddy-Daughter day?
A day late but hey, maybe it can still help
The Family of Destruction- Daddy-Daughter Day.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Taker was working on his bike when Shawn came in. Key-word, was.
"You need to look after cassie." Shawn states. "Hi to you too love. What's going on?" Taker asks lifting his head. "I haven't got time. I promised both John and Leon something and they remembered. Atleast Leon did. So i have to go, you have to go inside and watch cassie" Shawn explains. "You know, I miss the days you stopped me working on my bike for other things" Taker smirks. "If cassie gives me a good report you might be lucky" Shawn calls as he walks out. "Fuck Shawn..." Taker groans tilting his head back.
He sits against his bike thinking. He loves his kids he does, but him and shawn have just been so busy they barely get any them time. So if that means spoiling his kids, that's just what he'll do.
He grabs his rag and starts wiping his hands. "CASSIE! WE'RE GOING OUT GET READY!" Taker yells as he pulls himself up.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Cassie holds her fathers hand as they walk around the mall. "Why did we leave the valley?" Cassie asks. "You said you always wanted to come to this mall" Taker states. "But you said we had no need to com-" "look daddy says a lot of things to keep papa happ-" "Papa wasn't there" cassie points out. Taker sighs. "Do you want to spend daddy's money or not?" Taker asks. "Of course" cassie smiles. "Thats what I thought" Taker chuckles. Cassie giggles and pulls her father towards the first clothes shop.
Taker can't help but groan as the smell of perfume hits him.
It's gonna be a long day.
--------
Cassie smiles as she walks through the mall with a new pair of sunglasses on and a strawberry ice cream. She can't help but giggle as her dad mutters something.
Taker adjusts his grip on the bags as he follows her. How one little girl could have him so whipped he didn't know. He also knew no one could find this out.
"Daddy!" The little girl squeals. Taker looks up to see them stopped outside the tattoo shop. "Your a bit young for that" Taker states. "No! Look!" She smiles pointing.
Taker glances at the girl in the seat, around cassies age getting her ears pierced. "Oh right..well I'd have to ask p-" he cuts himself off as the girl turns to him and lowers her sunglasses revealing the biggest puppy dog eyes he's ever seen. "I..cas..."
"Fine."
-----------
Leon and John try to hide their giggles as cassie goes on about her day. Shawn smiles at her and nods, side eying taker causing the bigger man to shrink. "Well, you really have had a eventful day haven't you?" Shawn asks. "Oh yes! I really did enjoy myself papa!" She smiles. "Good. Now go help your brothers clean up" Shawn smiles. She nods and takes her plate into the kitchen. Taker stares at the family dog as shawn moves to his chair.
Charlie just huffs and walks off.
"You took her to the mall out of town?" Shawn asks standing behind him. "Yes?" Taker whispers as shawn places his hands on his shoulders. "And spoiled her?" Shawn asks. "Maybe.." Taker whispers. Shawn leans down. "Guess you did earn it then" Shawn smirks as he whispers into takers ear. Taker perk up. "Really?!" Taker asks. Shawn chuckles and moves around the table, towards the stairs. "If you can keep down that is" Shawn smirks. "Me? Oh baby boy we all know how this is going" Taker growls standing up. "Kids! Once your done you can go out to play!" Shawn calls, keeping his eyes on his husband as he stalks. "Yes!" The kids cheer. "Back when the porch light-" "flickers three times! We know!" The kids call back.
That's all Shawn needs to hear before he's running upstairs with taker hot on his heels.

Suptober 2022 Day 6 - Parody
Destiel, Short fic, 1,371 words, Fluff, Humor, Rated T for language
Gabriel's back, Baby! And he won't let Cas and Dean rest until they sort some things out.
Under the cut or on Ao3
Parody
“You wanna remind me why bringing Gabriel back from the empty with us was a good idea?” Dean asked as he decapitated yet another Pattinson-esque sparkly vampire.
Cas shot Dean an annoyed glance as he fought off his own vamp, but didn’t try to defend his brother.
“Seriously,” Dean yelled at the sky, not expecting an answer. “What is the point of this?”
Wings flapped behind Dean as Gabriel suddenly appeared. He pulled a lollipop from his mouth and said, “The point, Deano, is that you two are trapped in this screwball parody of your lives, and you’re going to stay trapped until you work your shit out.”
“What ‘shit’ do you expect us to work out?” Cas asked, complete with air quotes.
Rather than wait for Gabe’s response, Dean growled in frustration and brought his machete down on his neck. The blade bounced harmlessly off with a cartoonish ‘B-Boing’ sound. Because of course it did.
Gabe raised an annoyed eyebrow at Dean and deadpanned, “Really.”
Dean shook the vamp blood off his machete, shrugged, and said, “Can’t blame a girl for trying.”
Gabe looked thoroughly unimpressed. He sighed and said, “Alright, just because I’m even more bored with this whole mishegoss than you are… Why don’t we cut to the chase.”
Gabriel snapped his fingers and Dean immediately found himself behind Baby’s wheel… while doing about 80 miles an hour down the middle of a deserted highway.
Dean swerved and swore before he managed to bring Baby safely back to the middle of her lane. A glance in the rearview showed… Was that a Beverly-Hillbillies-style truck full of werewolves behind them?
Dean exchanged a look with Cas and called out to the whole lotta nothing nearby,  “Cut to the chase, Really?”
The radio kicked on and the chorus of "Werewolves of London" blared out of Baby's speakers at full volume. Baby swerved again as Dean tried to block his ears and steer at the same time while Cas dove for the controls.
Cas had just gotten the volume down to a reasonable level when Gabriel suddenly appeared in the back seat and announced like a gameshow host, "This can all be over for the low, low price of digging your heads out of your asses, fellas."
Dean’s hands tightened on the steering wheel as glorious fantasies of wringing Gabe’s neck filled his mind.
Meanwhile, Cas actually growled, then said, “Enough, brother. Just tell us what we have to do to end this.”
Gabe rolled his eyes and muttered what sounded like, “Spoil-sports.” He sighed dramatically and said, “Fine. Everyone knows that the older Winchester is an emotionally constipated wreck, so this is all on you, Cassie. All you have to do is confess your undying love for Deano here and you two can drive happily off into the sunset."
Cas tensed, then turned his face toward the window, but not before Dean caught the flash of pain that crossed his face.
Dean had never felt more like ripping Gabe's intestines out through his nose than he did at that moment. He glared daggers at Gabriel in the rearview mirror and said, “Hey, dickwad. You maybe wanna butt the fuck out of other people’s business?”
Gabriel froze. His mouth dropped open as he stared back and forth between Dean and Cas. The manic playfulness had drained from his face completely as he asked, “You knew?”
Dean glared back, beyond done with dick archangels and their stupid games. He said, "Yeah, so if you'd just let us get back to our lives, that'd be great…"
"Why haven't you said it back?" Gabe demanded.
"What?"
“If Cassie here spilled his guts, then why aren’t the two of you a slobbering pile of feelings, emoting all over each other, Dean?”
Dean felt his face flush all the way down his neck. He spluttered incoherently.
Gabe grinned like a shark sensing blood in the water. He grinned and sing-songed, “Why, oh why haven’t you said it back, Deanie?”
Dean felt his blush deepen as his hands went slick around the steering wheel. He shot back defensively, "Well, maybe if you'd leave us alone for five fucking minutes…"
Gabriel’s eyebrows rocketed upward as Cas spun to face Dean. Dean stared resolutely out the windshield as he blushed so furiously, he felt it burning in his ears. This was not how he'd wanted to do this.
After what felt like a small eternity, Cas breathed out a shocked, "Dean," at the same time that Gabriel said, "Shit," and snapped himself right out of the back seat.
Silence descended over the car like a physical weight. Dean idly noted that Gabe had taken the crazed bunch of hillbilly werewolves with him.
Dean slowed the car to a more reasonable pace but didn’t dare pull over. Dean needed the solidity of Baby's wheel beneath his hands to keep him from shaking apart.
Cas gaped on the seat next to him, clearly struggling to find words.
Shit, Dean should pull over while he said what he needed to say. He pictured the sweet agony of looking Cas in the eye, maybe even holding his hands, while he poured his heart out all over the asphalt. He kept driving.
There were so many things he needed to say, so many feelings Cas deserved to hear him actually say out loud. As usual though, the words became static in his ears and formed a solid mass in his throat.
“I— You— I—” I love you, how fucking hard is it to say three fucking words?!? Dean thumped a fist into the steering wheel and silently cursed his own inability to talk.
Cas whispered gently, “Take your time, I’m not going anywhere.”
The words loosened some of the tension that had gripped Dean’s chest. How did Cas always know what to say? How could he just say things like that and make everything better?
‘Cause he’s not Dean fucking Winchester, that’s how. Most people aren’t all (what did Gabe call it) emotionally-constipated, or whatever.
Damn, he was an idiot. Cas deserved so much better. He deserved someone who could make speeches like the one he’d made to Dean. He deserved someone who could say all the things that Cas needed to hear.
After all these years, Dean couldn’t even tell Cas the one thing that had become such a bedrock foundation for him that the thought of Cas being gone had sent him into a tailspin so bad, he almost hadn’t made it back out.
All Dean needed to do was say three measly little words, words that he should have said a long time ago. All he had to do was open his damn mouth—
Dean gasped as an idea suddenly occurred to him. He yanked the steering wheel over, squealing Baby's tires as he pulled over to the side of the road before he could overthink it.
Dean’s face flushed impossibly warmer as Baby’s engine ticked in the silence. He pried his shaking hands off the steering wheel, stared resolutely out the windshield, and raised his hand toward Cas, clumsy fingers slowly fingerspelling in ASL. “I L O V E Y O U"
All the world fell silent and Dean drowned in it. It mocked his inability to speak. How could such a pitiful excuse for words ever be enough? Cas had poured his heart out to Dean, such amazing words that still resonated behind Dean's sternum. Words that Dean would carry with him for the rest of time. How could his clumsy inability to even speak come anywhere close to meaning the same?
“Dean,” Cas choked and Dean’s eyes flew to Cas’ automatically. He found such love and awe staring back at him that it stole his breath away. Tears stood in Cas’ eyes as he smiled and said, “Thank you, Dean.” No trace of irony or sarcasm tinted the words and the strangeness of the response was just so Cas that Dean laughed in relief.
Somehow it was enough. Somehow the world kept on spinning. Somehow Cas was still by his side.
And maybe somehow, someday, Dean would be able to say the words out loud. He reached out and shyly tangled his fingers with Cas’.
It was enough.

A worthy sacrifice Pt. 3
Word count: 5109
The first thing you realized upon waking up was the killer headache splitting your head in two.
You groaned, hands raising to press on your eyes.
Then you registered the voices. Right, a side effect of wanting a room so close to the library was the whispering sounds when there was a meeting of any kind.
You pushed yourself to stand up, only to immediately sit back down when you got hit with a shitton of dizziness. You cursed and blamed... Whatever you had been doing before blacking out.
But what had you been doing?
You scanned your memory and frowned when you realized you had no clear memory of what happened. The last thing you remember was... Getting ready to leave for a witch case? Maybe? Then it was just a vague recollection of a weird dream.
You made a note to yourself to stop drinking so much right before a case.
The whispering grew louder, so you tried to stand up again, slower this time. When no black spots appeared in your vision you walked to the door and poked your head out of the room.
The first time you tried to call out the most you could muster was a weak croak, and when even clearing your throat didn't help, you walked out, leaning on the wall for support. Really, what did you drink to make yourself so weak?
The further you went into the corridor, the clearer the voices got. You heard Dean's voice, and he sounded... Not pleased, to say the least. What a surprise.
"He's only asking for a few more days-" Sam was saying back.
"We gave him a week already. They are using their grace, and for what? Nothing happened. We can't keep them stuck like that for more time, it's sick!"
"Dean, please, try to understand," and there was Cas, "my brother feels personally responsible for their death and -"
"And what? We all miss them and we all have to live with it -
You finally made it to the end of the corridor, even if you were out out breath.
" So, ", you panted," Who's dead? "
Everyone stopped dead and turned, whip-fast, to stare at you. And then kept staring. And staring.
They all looked so spooked that you turned to check if a ghost had appeared behind you, but there was no one.
You turned back towards them only to come face to face with a wall of flannel as the youngest Winchester engulfed you in a bear hug.
"Sam, Sammy," you wheezed out, "I love you and all, but I still need air."
The moment Sam put you down Dean took his place, ending his own hug with a couple of strong pats on the back that didn't really help in the breath department, but you brushed off his fussing with a smile.
Cas didn't move, just stood quietly by your side, but you wouldn't have it.
"Come here Cassie. I don't know why but it's hug time, and that includes you too. Only if you want to, of course."
His hug was kind of awkward, but he was getting better at it.
"I'm glad to see you again," he said.
You opened your mouth to ask what he meant - it seemed a little excessive for a simple hungover - but a flutter of wings distracted you.
Gabriel had just appeared in the room, eyes downcast and looking defeated.
" Guys, I'm sorry. I tried everything I could but-
His voice cut off abruptly when he looked up and saw you. He stared at you for several moments, then glanced around at the others, as if to check they could see you too.
Sam nodded at the corner of your eye, and something changed in Gabriel's eyes. He walked straight towards you with hunted eyes. You wanted to ask him what was wrong, how you could help, but he reached you first, pulling you into a hug. His hold on you had a desperate edge and it brought tears in your eyes without knowing why, but you hugged him back with just as much strength.
"Thank you," you heard him whisper into your hair, and even if something inside you knew those words weren't meant for you, they were filled with a feeling so deep you found yourself crying in his shirt.
"It's okay, it's okay," he said, trying to reassure you, "I won't let you go again."
It took you two minutes to calm down, and even then you didn't want to let go. But you had to, so you forced your fingers open from where they were clinging to his shirt.
You stepped back and rubbed your eyes, hoping they weren't as red as thought. You looked around you and realized the others had left the two of you alone, and you found yourself grateful. It was bad enough already to have wasted Gabriel's time with your random tears.
You kept looking around, not really wanting to meet his eyes, but your eyes snapped to him when he took your hand to pull you closer again, and the look in your eyes made your breath hitch.
He was looking at you like - like you were some kind of miracle, and you felt yourself blush.
"Why are you looking at me like that?", you muttered, not really expending an answer. You stared at were his hands were holding yours. They were warm, and you liked it, but you couldn't keep them there. You had to collect yourself and-
"I love you."
Your brain audibly screeched as your eyes shot up, shocked, waiting for him to deliver the punchline, to say he was joking, because even if he hadn't ever been that cruel with you there couldn't be any other way, but no, he was the most serious you had ever seen him. His eyes were determined and sure and filled with so much affection and - and love.
You felt like you couldn't speak past the block in your throat, but you had to ask.
"Why?"
His smile was sweet and sad, but there was also steel in his eyes, like he was swearing an oath.
"I'm not wasting another chance."
You wanted to ask more, why was everyone acting so weird around you, but then he leaned toward you and you forgot what you were thinking.
Things were a little... weird, for a little while.
The good kind of weird, where you could stay close to Gabriel without having to hide your feelings for him, and you didn't have to sleep alone. He kept looking at you like you were his personal blessing, and that never failed to make you blush and look away, still unused to be shown such open affection. You still couldn't understand what an Archangel like him could see in someone like you.
"You are you," he told you the one time you mustered up enough courage to actually ask him, "You're kind, you help others. You literally fight monsters for a living. You are brave, strong yet gentle, and you know when to act up against those who deserve it. And your soul -" his eyes unfocused for a moment, then he shook his head - "You're so much more than what you think."
You didn't really know how to respond to that.
And then there was the boys.
The Winchesters, Dean in particular, seemed death-set in keeping you inside the bunker and out of the business. You were cool with it, for about a week. Not that you didn't enjoy spending time alone with Gabriel, but you both were starting to get restless.
Right now, you were trying, yet again, to convince Dean to let you go on a simple, alleged-werewolf case, but he wasn't budging.
"You're not coming."
"C'mon, Dean. I've been through a bunch of Apocalypses, same as you. I can handle this."
"I can handle this, " you said, not looking away from what were usually beautiful, warm eyes, but that now looked back at you devoid of emotions. You knew you couldn't possibly last long against him, but if you were going down, you'd be damned if you didn't save him first.
"-Ehy. Ehy!"
Snapping fingers in front of your eyes brought you back from that... whatever that had been. A flashback maybe? You weren't that sure.
"See?", Dean said, diverting your thoughts from looking more into it, "You're spacey, you can't go on hunts. You and Gabriel will stay here and search for infos if we need 'em.".
You sighed but agreed, knowing there was no changing his mind.
Satisfied, Dean walked away to finish packing his stuff, nodding at Gabriel on the way out.
That was another thing that had changed.
The boys seemed to have developed, if not a liking, at least a new respect for the former Trickster. It was about time, if they asked you, but you were confused on what exactly had made it happen.
You looked at the angel, batting your eyelashes, but he shook his finger at you in a gesture well practiced. This was another strange addition. He was usually the first to think about breaking the rules and have some fun, but he had become just as strict as as Dean in keeping you inside the bunker. He would stay with you, so there was that at least.
Making peace with the fact that you had been benched once again, you started to think on how to spend the evening.
You were comfortably curled against your angel's side while you watched a history movie. To be honest, you didn't really care about what the narrator was explaining, but it was interesting to hear Gabriel telling you how things actually went down.
He was in the middle of a recollection, hands moving wildly around to better prove his point, when a loud noise stopped him mid word.
It lasted for a good couple of seconds. When it stopped, you looked at him and blinked.
"Was that - was that your stomach?", you asked.
"No it wasn't." he responded, far too quickly not to be suspicious.
His words were punctuated by another grumbling noise.
"Yes, it was!", you laughed.
He crossed his arms and pouted. "I don't see the fun in this."
"That's a first."
"Ah-ah. Very funny, smart-ass."
He reached between the pillows of the couch and pulled out a candy bag, but you snatched it away before he could even open it.
"Ehy! That was mine!", he complained.
You waved your finger at him. "Nope. If you're hungry, you need to eat, and if you are gonna eat, it's going to be something healthy. Wait here, I'll go make you something."
"But we were watching a movie together."
"You still need to eat something."
You started to stand up, but he pulled you back down again.
"Compromise?", he asked, showing you a sandwich in his other hand like a peace offering.
"Acceptable.", you said, laying back against him.
"I still want my dessert though," you heard him muttering between bites.
You didn't paid much attention to it, it was Gabriel after all, but when the movie ended and you made to stand up you found there was something, or rather someone, holding you down.
You looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"I want my dessert."
You handed him the bag from earlier, but he shook his head. Before you could say anything he bent down and caught your lips in a breath-taking kiss.
"Sweeter than candy," he said when you parted, wiggling his eyebrows at you.
Caught between groaning and blushing, you hid your face in his shirt.
Unlike Cas, who discovered the place with you; and Gabriel, whose increasingly frequent visits (originally to annoy the boys) had become permanent with time and your developing relationship, Balthazar preferred to move around, using the safe houses he had all over the country. So it was a surprise when you walked into the kitchen for lunch and found him looking at Gabriel cooking with an almost pitying look.
"Oh, Balthazar, hi. What brings you here?"
"Just checking in to see how this annoyance of a older brother was doing. And I find him cooking. Wearing that."
"C'mon, Balthy, this is high fashion," Gabriel said, turning to show off his 'kiss the cook' apron. He looked at you with clear expectations, so you rolled your eyes and, ignoring your still somewhat present embarrassed at PDAs, walked up to him and lean up to kiss him on the cheek.
"Spare me the sugar, please."
"You're just envious that I get this beautiful soul all to myself."
"I'm just glad everything worked out fine after what happened."
Gabriel tensed, his movements at the stove no longer fluid but stiff, and you looked between them, unsure of what could have caused such a reaction.
"What do you mean? What happened?"
Balthazar looked at you, at his brother, then back at you. He opened his mouth to speak, but Gabriel was faster.
"Nothing happened, he's just being dramatic," he said, as nonchalant as he could. Too nonchalant.
"You don't remember?", Balthazar asked you then.
"What should I remember? Gabe?"
"It's nothing, really," he said, shooting a clear 'shut it' over your head, but the irritation was gone when he looked back at you. "Could you leave us for a moment? I need to have a word with him."
"Sure,"you said,"I'll just..." you made a vague gesture and walked out of the door, but you had no real intention to go far. You didn't like eavesdropping, but there was clearly something Gabriel didn't want you to know but that involved you, and your gut instinct told you it had something to do with how everyone was acting lately, so you stuck close to the door.
Even without looking inside, you could feel the tension in the room.
"Go ahead then," you heard Gabriel say, "Start your lecture."
"They don't know." it wasn't a question.
"The whole ordeal seems to have affected the memories related to it."
"And you don't plan to tell them."
"Not if I can help it. And you won't either."
"Oh, won't I?"
"No. And if asking you as your brother is not enough, I'm asking as the Archangel ruling over your garrison."
The shocked silence could be cut with a knife.
"You, pulling ranks? I never thought I'd see the day.", Balthazar said, voice thick with sarcasm. "Fine, have it your way, General. See how it ends."
Even the flutter of his wings sounded offended, and you didn't know how to act.
What could have possibly had happened that Gabriel wanted that badly to keep it hidden? Even wreaking your memory brought nothing but a splitting headache.
You decided to let it sit in the back burner for a while while you decided what to do.
The spell was coming your way, and you were too slow to get out of the way, it was going hit you - but suddenly there was someone in front of you, slumping as the red mist hit them.
You run to their side, barely noticing Sam and Dean advancing towards the witch. Gabriel was motionless, and you frantically searched for a heartbeat, forgetting than angels didn't have any.
He started to stir, but the sigh of relief froze in lungs when he opened his eyes.
Staring at you weren't the warm, hazel eyes that you loved so much but they were instead completely overpowered by red.
You wanted to reach out and shook him, but a sharp pain in your side distracted you. You looked down and saw an angel blade piercing you. He pulled it out and watched you as you uselessly pushed a hand over the wound to try and slow the bleeding. You reached to him, asking for help, but he didn't move and-
You woke up with a gasp, a hand going to your side while the other searched for a weapon. You found none, your fingers closing over Gabriel's hand instead as he tried to calm you down.
"What's wrong? Are you hurt? What happened?"
You didn't answer him, too agitated to speak, instead grasping his head with your free hand and looking into his eyes. To your great relief there was no sign of red, only worried hazel.
You sighed, but it broke midway by a groan when a sudden burst of white-hot pain shot through your side. You curled up, trying to protect yourself from the threat, but it didn't go away. Then a cooling sensation washed over you, taking away the pain and finally allowing you to relax. It also helped to clear your mind, allowing you to understand what happened.
A nightmare. A very vivid one, but still, only a nightmare.
You unfurled and met Gabriel's worried eyes. The calming feeling still hasn't passed, and it took you a moment to locate the source: he had his hand on your back, where he was using it as a conduct to transfer some of his grace to you.
You jerked back perhaps a little too strongly, and you would have fallen off the bed if Gabriel hadn't grabbed your arm.
"Don't waste your grace on me," you said. He scowled a little. "Nothing done for you is a waste." he said, then, before you could object, he asked, "What just happened?"
"Sorry about that. I think it was a nightmare."
"Wanna talk about it?"
You hesitated. You didn't want to worry him, but it had left you shaken, and talking with him usually helped you.
"We where on a hunt, I think, and you jumped in front of me to protect me from a curse, and you went under. I tried to wake you up, but you-" your hand went at your side. It felt so real. "-you stabbed me."
You felt him stiffen, so you rushed to reassure him.
" Don't worry, I know you would never hurt me. It was just a bad dream."
Your words didn't help with the pained look in his eyes, and there was an current of desperation under his next words.
"Let me chase away the dream.", he said opening his arms, and you were quick to accept his invitation.
As time went on, you started to notice that Gabriel was, for lack of a better word, getting sleepy. It wasn't uncommon now to see him dozing off on the couch. He stubbornly refused to get a proper night if sleep, insisting that he was completely fine while drinking a cup of - very sweetened - coffee after another.
He also started spending increasing time in the gym, training from the base level instead of showing off with the hardest exercises like you had seen him do before. And every time you would ask to train together, or more specifically, spar, like it had become common for you, he would firmly refuse and walk away with an haunted look. He seemed to have no problems in spotting you, so you didn't understand the problem, but asking him brought no answers but a plea to drop it. You hated to see him like that, so you stopped, leaving you with the distinct impression you were missing something.
And the list of unusual little things you started noticing only grew longer the more time passed.
Like the sympathy in Cas' eyes whenever he looked at his older brother; or the increasingly common situations where Gabriel would snap and nothing would happen. He brushed it off with a laugh, but, when he thought you weren't looking, he would let out a soundless sigh, eyes clouded by a deep sadness and loss. He would look at you then, and a new determination, marvel and deep gratitude would cover the pain.
You, on the other hand, kept having these... Flashbacks? Nightmares? Negative daydreams? Where those even a thing? You didn't know anymore.
One moment you were examining a bakery's window, wondering if Gabriel or the boys would appreciate some sweets, when suddenly you were looking at another cupcake, one you knew had been made by your own hands for a special occasion.
"He really loves you," you thought you heard someone say. "You'd be surprised."
There was a presence, in those moments, that you were sure you knew from somewhere, but couldn't for the life if you pinpoint from where.
Then, just when Dean had finally allowed you back in on cases, it happened on a hunt. The vampire had lunged at you, claws ready to pierce you, and while you had manage to evade him, if only by a hair, a sharp pain in your side made you double over and black out. When you came back Gabriel was fussing over you, the vampire laying headless behind him. You reassured him you were fine, but the aching lasted for days.
Of course, after that no one let you go on another hunt for a week, but this time you didn't mind it too much, mind elsewhere. You had started to think every weird little thing that was happening was connected, that something happened, something that you didn't know, that involved you and made them so damn protective over you.
You couldn't ask Sam, Dean or Gabriel, they would never tell you, so you turned to Castiel, the angel who was infamously knows for his inability to keep secrets.
"Cas!" you called him. The others were getting ready to leave for a case, and Gabriel was waiting for you in the library, so you only had a short window of opportunity. "Just the angel I was looking for. Can I ask you something?"
"Of course. How can I help you?"
"Could you please try to convince the others to let me come with you? I'm dying being locked up in here."
"I don't think it would be a good idea. We don't want to see you hurt."
"Cas, I've been hurt before, it's part of the job,", you pointed out.
"I know, but please understand, your loss pained us deeply, my brother especially. I still don't know how he did it, but none of us want to risk losing you again."
You opened your mouth to ask him to elaborate, but then Dean called for him to hurry up, so he apologized and made to leave.
" Wait!", you called him,"Do you ever feel hungry? Or tired?"
"Not since restoring my grace."
You thanked him, and he smiled at you before following Sam out.
You went to the kitchen to make some coffee and grab some snack while you reflected on Cas' words. What did it mean, losing you? And now that you thought about it, it wasn't the first time someone used those words for you. They started after that witch hunt you didn't remember much of anything of. Maybe it was all connected.
You kept thinking about it while waiting for the water to boil, while you picked everything up and walked to the library, and what you found made you smile.
Gabriel was sitting on the couch, surrounded by books and fast asleep. You had tried to get him to try sleeping before, but he always refused, insisting that caffeine would help him just as much. Stubborn angel. It seemed tiredness had finally won.
You put the cup in the table and started on moving the books out of the way, then you sat down and carefully tilted him until he was laying with his head on your lap as you gently passed your fingers through his hair.
You sat there for a little while, quietly enjoying the softness of the moment, before you thought back at Cas' words. Something didn't add up. You frowned and massaged your forehead. Damn headaches. One seemed to always pop up when you tried to think more deeply about it.
You momentarily let if go and chose to look at Gabriel instead, his serene expression making you smile. It was probably the first ever you had seen him actually asleep.
Then it clicked, and the blood froze in your veins.
The only times you had ever seen an angel sleep was that time Cas' grace was getting weaker by the day.
Gabriel getting hungry. Gabriel snapping without anything happening. Gabriel getting tired to the point of sleeping.
How stupid could you be? His grace was vanishing and you were too caught up in your own thoughts to notice. But why didn't he say anything, when a part of his as important as his grace was -
"Someone offered something truly important for them in exchange for you. To have you back."
You clenched your teeth and pressed the heel of your hand into your eyes. Now was not the time for whatever this was, but more flashes kept coming to mind. It seemed your brain had made a connection and wouldn't shut up until you saw it too.
And then you did.
Barely there memories from that witch hunt no one wanted to talk about. Those weird flashback-like daydreams you had with increasing frequency about a perfect life in the bunker, too heavenly good to be real. Vague mentions of you being lost and Gabriel "bringing you back" somehow. The looks Cas and Balthazar threw at him. Gabriel getting more human by the day, but still looking at you like you were a miracle that could vanish any moment.
Tears started falling from your eyes, running down your cheeks and raining onto his sleeping face. Sobs that you desperately tried to keep silent not to wake him shook your body, waking him up despite your tries.
He blinked up at you, eyes still clouded, and raised a hand to your face. The sleepiness was gone in an instant when he realized what was happening, replaced by worry.
"Sugar, what's wrong? Tell me how I can help, please."
You just shook your head, hand still pressed against your lips to reel in the sobs.
Not knowing what else to do, he hugged you and let you hide your face in his shirt, holding you close until you had calmed down enough to talk.
"I-I died," you stuttered with a broken voice.
He stilled, then let out a deep sigh. "You remembered."
It wasn't a question, but you still nodded.
"Then you also remember that you didn't just die, I _killed_ you."
There was harness and pain behind his words, but you wouldn't let him stay in his guilt.
"It wasn't your fault! We've all done things we regret while under someone else's control."
"That doesn't change the fact that it was my hand holding the blade. And I couldn't let you go. It was my doing, so it was my job to fix it and bring you back."
"But you didn't have to. And your grace-" you inhaled sharply, needing to take a deep breath but still unable to finish the sentence. He kept looking at you with the same affection and calm resolution you had seen in him since you woke up again.
"Why?", you couldn't help but ask. "And why didn't you want me to know?"
"I was afraid it would... Ruin what he had, I guess. And, even if I knew you wouldn't hold against me, deep down I couldn't bear to see you look at me with fear or disdain, not when you are the first to see the real me in so long. And for why I needed you back... I'm old. I know, it doesn't show," he said, flipping his hair with an exaggerated motion, not succeeding in dispelling the tension but getting a watery laugh out of you. He smiled in victory before becoming serious again. "And with old I mean really, really old. I've seen a lot of things, outlived a lot of people. But I simply couldn't live in peace knowing you were gone, and by my hand at that. But I was too weak to bring you back. So I prayed."
You sucked in a breath. You knew how he felt about his family, especially his father, and for him to go as far as praying...
" Pops isn't really one to answer prayers, so I needed to get his attention.", he shrugged, like what he did was a small thing.
"But your grace?", you said. You couldn't understand how he could sacrifice something so important for him for you, a no one.
"It was the only thing I could offer. I was afraid it wouldn't be enough-"
"Not enough?", you said, voice cracking, "We're talking of a part of you, and you just gave it up? For me? I'm the one who's not worthy of such a sacrifice-"
"You're worth so much more than the grace of a runaway. I would have offered more if I had it. Low as it was, I'm still can't believe Dad accepted it and brought you back.". He took your face between his hands, thumbs brushing away the still falling tears. "And I'll never stop being grateful for it."
You still couldn't understand how he could be so calm and serene about it.
"But what if you regret it and come to hate me for it?"
"It was my decision to make, and I will never regret it." he said, voice filled with a certainty that came from a soul-deep conviction. "How could I, when it allows me to see you alive?"
"But won't you turn human once it runs out?", you asked, remembering how sad Cas was when his grace had been stolen.
He simply shrugged. "I made my peace with it. And it won't be too bad, especially if I get to get old with you."
Your heart was too full, beating too fast, to let you speak, so you just stood in silence, taking all of his words in.
He took it the wrong way.
"Only if you want to, of course. You don't have to put up with me for so long, I was just blurting things. Don't feel obligated to stay with me just because of what I did. You can do whatever you want, and I'd still be okay with it-"
He was rambling, and you were still too emotional to speak. So you threw yourself into his arms, holding on as with as much strength as you could muster, like you were trying to make him feel what you felt by touch alone.
"I'll take it you'll have me?", he asked with an hopeful note in his voice that made your heart clench.
You nodded, and fresh tears spilled from your eyes when he hugged you back with just the same emotions.

Part 2: With Every Step
(link to part 1 in notes since tumblr's dumb)
Balthazar looked down at his phone.
Castiel: “Do you have plans tonight?”
Balthazar considered for a moment before texting back. “I refuse to bring work home tonight. What did you have in mind?”
Castiel: “I am determined to stop obsessing over this draft until I’ve heard back from my editor and I’m needing something to distract me. I was thinking takeout, popcorn, and binging the rest of Stranger Things.”
Balthazar smiled down at his phone. “Sounds brilliant. Call us in an order at that Thai and Japanese Kitchen—get me that thing I like but can’t ever remember the name of—and I’ll pick that up along with some daiquiris on the way home. I should be leaving here in 10 or so.”
Castiel: “I love you.”
“Love you too, darling.”
“Hot date?”
Balthazar looked up to see Gabriel grinning at him over the edge of his cubicle. He rolled his eyes. “Hot? Certainly. Date? No.”
Gabriel tisked. “Oh, come on. You and Hannah broke up months ago. You gotta get back out there!”
Balthazar snorted. This wasn’t about Hannah; he was simply increasingly sure that he wasn’t built for relationships and should probably stop inflicting that on people. “I’ll pass, thanks.”
“Of course, by ‘get back out there,’ what I really mean is that you and my brother should just hook up already.”
“Absolutely not.”
Gabriel rolled his eyes. “Puh-lease.. You can’t tell me you haven’t at least thought about it. You guys are practically married anyway. And god knows he could use a little fun.”
Balthazar scowled at him. “Firstly, don’t be so concerned with your brother’s sex life; it’s weird.” He stood and began gathering his things to leave. “Secondly, you know Castiel isn’t…well, that he isn’t exactly into hook-ups.” Balthazar looked up and pointed a finger at Gabriel. “And you’ll do well to respect that. Finally, your brother and his friendship mean far too much for me to ruin everything over filling a lonely night during a dry spell, so I’ll thank you not to bring it up again.”
Gabriel hummed. “So, you’re lonely at night?”
“Oh, for the love of...”
“You know, if Cassie isn’t interested, I could—”
“Good bye, Gabriel.” Balthazar walked out the door before Castiel’s brother decided to offer any more appalling ideas.
Tumblr media
“Stop judging us, Netflix,” Castiel’s voice rumbled above him as Are you still watching? popped up on the screen between episodes.
Balthazar just hummed, enjoying the fingertips that were scratching along his scalp as he lay sprawled out on the couch with his head in Castiel’s lap.
Castiel looked down. “I assume we’re watching another?”
Balthazar grinned up at him. “Obviously.” He sat up and grabbed the empty popcorn bowl from the coffee table. “But first, more popcorn. Anything else you’d like from the kitchen while I’m up?”
Castiel shook his head and stood. “No, but I think I’m going to change while you do that.”
“Why did you get dressed today, anyway? Isn’t one of the perks of working from home lounging around in pajamas? Or did you go somewhere?”
Castiel huffed. “I was struggling to feel motivated today and sometimes it helps, but I’m tired of it now.”
Balthazar chuckled. “Off with you, then,” he said, waving Castiel towards the bedroom as he walked into the kitchen. He set the empty bowl on the counter and rummaged through the cupboard for a fresh bag. “Oi, Cas!” he called when he couldn’t spot one. “Was that the last of the popcorn?”
“What?!” he heard Castiel’s voice from the hall.
Balthazar turned around to try again, only to be confronted by a mostly naked Castiel, standing in the doorway in his underpants, holding the shirt he’d been wearing, and in the act of kicking off his jeans. Balthazar blinked. Best friend or not, Castiel was truly attractive. He would like to blame Gabriel for having it in the forefront of his mind, but the truth was that the more comfortable he and Castiel were in each other’s space and with each other’s affection, the harder it was to not…well, be comfortable with other types of attention and affection.
Balthazar shook off the thought. “I don’t see any more popcorn.” He gestured to the cupboard. “Was that the last bag?”
Castiel chuckled and walked to the kitchen, stepping out of his jeans and tossing his discarded shirt on the couch as he passed it. “I didn’t buy microwave bags last time. I got this kettle corn instead.” He stretched up to pull a jar of corn kernels from the top shelf along with some oil before reaching around Balthazar to pull the salt from a different cabinet.
Balthazar did his best to not take advantage of the full display of lean muscle and tanned skin moving and reaching around him. He wasn’t sure what expression was on his face when Castiel turned to hand him the kernels, but whatever it was caused Castiel to pause.
“You…” Castiel frowned. “Do you need me to make it?”
Balthazar rolled his eyes. “I know how to make popcorn, love.”
“You look confused, or…something.”
Balthazar snorted. “Let’s just call it something, shall we?” He held up the bottle of oil and shook it in front of Castiel. “Now, run along and put on a shirt before those lovely muscles of yours tempt me into finding another use for this oil, hm?” He turned and made himself busy finding the perfect pot for cooking popcorn and decidedly not ogling the best friend next to him.
Castiel started to say something but paused and looked down at himself and blushed when he realized his state of undress. “Oh. Sorry. I wasn’t thinking.”
Balthazar chuckled and shook his head. “It’s fine. I—” But Castiel still looked embarrassed. Balthazar chewed his lip, looking for the right words. “Look, you know I didn’t mean it like that, right? Well, I did, in that you’re objectively attractive, yes,  but I promise I don't mean anything by it. I wouldn’t…I’d never, you know, try anything.”
Castiel gave him a soft smile. “I know that.”
“Does it bother you?” Balthazar chanced; then, when Castiel frowned in confusion, he added, “Me finding you attractive?”
Castiel considered that for a moment. “No,” he seemed to decide. “It doesn’t feel...predatory...coming from you.”
Balthazar sighed. “Good. Because it truly isn't.”
“I know.” Then Castiel smirked, “So...you think I’m attractive?”
Balthazar rolled his eyes. “I may not understand romance, but I do understand attraction, and I’m certainly not oblivious to your charms. Now, go put on some bloody clothes while I make our popcorn.”
Castiel laughed and headed back towards the bedroom. He paused in the entrance to the hallway and looked over his shoulder. “For the record,” he said, “I’m not oblivious to you either.”
Balthazar huffed a small laugh. He looked over his shoulder, batting his eyes at Castiel. “Is this your way of telling me that you find me becoming?”
Castiel’s lips pressed into a line as though he were fighting a smirk. “Maybe.”
Balthazar finally realized that the pot already sitting on the stove was likely the one Castiel had used for the first batch. He lifted the lid, confirming, and pretended not to hear Castiel snicker behind him, then turned and leaned against the counter, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow. “I thought you weren’t into that sort of thing.”
Castiel shrugged. “I’m not particularly into sex. That doesn’t mean I don’t find you aesthetically pleasing.” Then, he turned and was gone.
Balthazar took a deep breath and turned back to the stove. He covered the bottom of the pot in oil and placed one kernel in to let him know when it was hot enough, then dropped his chin to his chest and tapped his fingers on the counter as he waited. “Fuck,” he breathed, pushing away from the counter and running a hand through his hair. He reminded himself that for most, the line between friends and lovers was a little less blurry than for him, and the last thing he wanted to do was lead his best friend on. Rein it in, you bastard. Castiel is off-limits.
And he was. Castiel was so, so very off-limits. Castiel, who had been Balthazar’s best friend ever since he could remember, who was so kind and loyal and loving and gentle and giving and—and who deserved better, deserved more. Castiel deserved to be adored and cherished and singularly worshiped. He deserved fairy tales and the kind of love that people would write songs about, and Balthazar just...really liked being around the guy and sometimes thought it'd be enjoyable to get to kiss him, too.
The kernel popped.
Balthazar fished it out, threw a scoop of fresh kernels into the pot, and slammed the lid.
No. He couldn’t be what Castiel deserved.
Someone would be, though. Some day, someone was going to come around who could see just how amazing Castiel friend was, sweep Balthazar’s best friend off of his feet, and leave Balthazar with a very Castiel-shaped hole in his life where late-night talks and morning coffee and movie nights and friendship and care and affection and intimacy used to be. Someone was going to be amazing and deserving and was going to give Castiel the love that he’d dreamt of.
Whoever it was…Balthazar loved him for it, but he also already couldn’t stand him.
Tumblr media
Castiel crossed his arms on top of his dresser and dropped his head to them, breathing slowly.
In.
Out.
In.
Out.
Why was he letting everything get to him like this?
Castiel had been fostering a crush on Balthazar for…a while. It was difficult to put a finger on exactly when his feelings for his best friend had shifted from purely platonic, but over time, they had.
He was usually able to ignore it though. Certainly, it was an ever-present hum in the back of his mind, but it usually didn’t affect their time together so much as exist as a thing that Castiel would take out and examine when he was alone. It was a thing that he would lie in bed and yearn for long after Balthazar had fallen asleep. Usually, his crush on Balthazar was a thing that his mind would indulge within the safety of dreams and fantasies, but lay dormant during their waking interactions.
Usually, Love you too, darling would not have been playing on repeat in his mind since the moment he’d read it and you're objectively attractive wouldn't have sent him reeling. Usually, Castiel didn’t say dumb things like tell Balthazar how aesthetically pleasing he was. Usually, Castiel could let Balthazar rest his head in his lap and run his fingers through Balthazar’s hair without the urge to caress his face and tell him he was everything Castiel wanted…
Because Castiel had accepted a long time ago that he could not give Balthazar what he wanted. After all, Balthazar loved sex but would balk if he knew the flood of emotions and longing currently threatening to burst out of Castiel or how Castiel would happily spend the rest of his life with him.
Balthazar had tried to explain it to Castiel, what he saw in sex. He said liked the rush of it, the pleasure of it, the intimacy of it. He liked wanting and feeling wanted. He liked the closeness and connection that came with entrusting your bodies to each other entirely.
Some of those things, Castiel could understand. Perhaps not to the degree that Balthazar craved them(or at least not in the form which Balthazar craved those things), but he could understand. Yet…he’d been down such a road before, and he doubted that Balthazar would ever be satisfied in what Castiel could give him.
No, he couldn’t be what Balthazar wanted.
Someone could be though. Someone, some day would come along who would match Balthazar perfectly, who would see how amazing he was and never accuse him of being shallow or uncaring as some had, who would have the same types of desires and not be worried about the things Balthazar couldn’t give, who would see all the love and care that Balthazar did give.
“Castiel!” Balthazar’s voice called from the living room. “The popcorn’s done. Are you coming?”
Castiel pushed off of the dresser with a sigh and grabbed a t-shirt and some gray sweatpants from the drawers. “I’ll be right out!”
Yes. Someone, some day, would be exactly what Balthazar wanted.
Whoever it was…Castiel was grateful for them, but he already couldn’t stand them.

Cassian found scrubbing the pot bellied stove a helpful distraction while he worked. He still stumbled over his words — especially since Mrs. Meier wasn’t terribly curious about the boons of technology — but by the time he’d worked his sponge through every crack, chasing crumbs of food out of the narrowest cracks, he was able to convince her to okay their project.
It was late, the sun starting to set. Too late to move everything to the barn. Cassian returned his sponge, struggling to uncramp his fingers while also scrubbing them clean on his pants. “I should probably go home soon.”
“No, no. Stay for dinner. I insist. Fin, go collect some of the veggies from the garden so I can start on some stew.”
“I’ll help,” Cassian said quickly. Mrs. Meier was nice enough, but he was still too uncomfortable to be alone with her. Finley nodded, grabbing his hand (and his were still dirty, making Cassian’s skin crawl) to lead him outside.
“Cas, you are awesome,” Finley said the moment they were outside. Behind the house was a greenhouse, and Cassian had to stop for a moment, surprised. “I’ve never seen anyone talk Maman into anything.”
“Really?” he asked, pulling his hand free to wipe clean. “She seems like a perfectly reasonable woman.”
“Oh, she’s stubborn as hell. But uh…” Finley suddenly fiddled with his hands before he turned to Cassian, blocking the greenhouse door. “I’m sorry she said what she did.” He was bright red again.
“What did she say?” Cassian was more interested in going into the greenhouse than whatever this conversation was supposed to be. But Finley was still blocking the door and looking extremely fidgety.
“The whole… you being a girl thing. She’s near-sighted, and I’ve just been calling you Cassie at home since Holly and Tanya and everyone calls you that, but I guess I forgot to tell her that you’re a boy. We’re both… boys.”
“Oh.” Cassian shook his head dismissively. “A lot of people do that because of my hair. It’s not unusual.” But always a surprise. “Do people not do that to you?”
Finley’s face was hard to read before he turned away. “Not much anymore. I don’t really like it.” He led Cassian inside. “What do you think of this by the way? Papa made it when Maman was pregnant with me and didn’t like all the canned and pickled foods we had. Apparently she is ‘a nightmare’ when pregnant. She blames me.”
“I was wondering why you had a greenhouse. I’ve never been in one before.” It was warm inside, which made sense. It was also humid, which he supposed shouldn’t be surprising even though it absolutely was.
So were all the plants inside. Huge, leafy things, carefully planted in pots and set on narrow tables. Cassian looked around while Finley began to pluck tomatoes.

4. Free the love – Mom, I have a secret
Paring: F! Parker x F! Cas x F! Gabe
Warning: fluff + smut (second first time)
Description: They are together – will her mom accept it?
Word count: 2231
The reopening of the school year approaching in the next week and the three of them were starting to feel like a normal 'throuple'.
/ PING /
Cas - The Hottest changed the name of the group chat to: “Golden Girl sucks”
(G) Very mature, Cas
(C) Is not my fault that the app changes it automatically
Gabe - Honey changed the name of the group chat to: “Gabe > Cas”
(G) Don’t make me file a restraining order
(C) Buh, no fun.
Cas - The Hottest changed the name of the group chat to: “Cas does it better”
(P) CAN YOU TWO STOP! I am trying to concentrate on my work!!
You changed the name of the group chat to: “Don’t you dare to change this”
(C) Hey, gorgeous. Can I pick you up today?
(G) I was going to ask the same!
(C) Sorry, loser. To the back of the line
(P) None of you, please. I will tell my mom today about both of you, remember? We are going to have dinner.
(G) How are you feeling?
(P) Nervous as f*
(C) You got me to commit to this, love. You are going to ace this.
(G) If there is anyone who can convince people, that is you, honey.
(P) Thank you… I just don’t know how to approach her.
(G) Why don’t you start by the ‘I love them’ part? It worked with me.
(C) Well, the approach you had on me is quite not “motherly-daugherly”. So I have to agree with Golden Girl.
(P) CASSIE!
(C) Hey, we are agreeing! It is growth.
(G) – vomit emotion
(P) We will talk about this later. I need to go. Thank you both :*
/ PING /
Cas - The Hottest changed the name of the group chat to: “Go, Hotness”
Parker smiled at that while putting her phone down to make her client's new a half dozen flavors “coffee”.
-A strawberry-vanilla-caramel-cinammon scented coffee with whipped cream and matcha bubbles coming right up.
...
It was a silent dinner to begin with. The first few moments where full with weather talk and “how was your day”, but Parker was nervous and her mother didn’t want to push her.
“Dessert?”
“Yes, mom. Leave it to me”. She said collecting the dishes and strolling towars the kitchen to heat up the pie.
/Groupchat “Go, Hotness”
(P) So, just a crazy idea. Why don’t you both come and tell my mom while I go fight a creator again? I think it could work.
(G) Honey, what is the matter?
(C) Do you need a courage shot? I can be there in a second with a whiskey.
(P) I am afraid she is going to judge me
(G) She is not going to. She loves you.
(C) Nope, Golden Girl. You are wrong.
(C) Behaware, I am going to drop de bad girl facade for a second :o
(C) ~audio 2:33~ Love, you were the one who called me out in being a coward when I told you my “family” was going to judge me. Yes, she will judge you, me, Golden girl…. She will not understand because this is out of everyone comforting zone. /Sigh/ But you are going to have to do it, lying to your mom is killing you. Just go out there and say: “Momma, I am gay and I date 2 women at the same time – who are vampires. One is hot, the other is “cute”, and we have almost died last year together. Leave the part where you are also a vampire for another week. "
(C) Cassie Cute out / Cas The Hottest back
(G) Did you just call me cute?
(C) No. I called you “cute”. I was ironically air quoting it.
(P) I LOVE YOU /
And she went back to the living room, completely oblivious to the fact that the pie was still in the oven
“Mom, I need to tell you something, and it is weird.”
“Ok, darling. But can we get the pie first? It is going to burn”
“Nope, or I will lose my nerve” She took a deep breath “I am gay”
“Oh, honey, is that it? I already knew that, remember?” - Her mom said trying to keep acceptance in every word she said
“Yes, yes, of course. I am just heating up” Parker shook her head, she thought her mother didn’t remember anything since Lewis did that whole Obliviate thing. “Do you remember Cas?”
“Uhum. The cute one with the pink hair?”
“Yes. So… I am dating her”
“Oh sweetheart. I am so happy for you. I knew something was up, you were too happy these last few days” She stand moving to embrace her
“ Yeah, well, ok, thanks. But I am not finished.” She said holding her mom in a arm length.
“Do you remember Gabriela?”
“Well, yes. The pretty brunette who volunteer at the hospital?”
“Uhum. That one. Remember the pretty-volunteering-awesome person…” She took a shaking breath “ I am kind of dating her too?” Parker said wincing
“Mom?” She opened one eye at the time
“You date Cas” Her mom looked like she was doing hard math
“I love her” She nodded
“And to show her how much you love her, you also date Gabriela?” Terri said confused
“I love both of them” Parker stated.
“Ok, honey. Sit down. I need pie for this”.
Her mom got back with a semi burn down pie and two forks – no plates.
“I have seen these things in the Discovery Channel, and believe me I understand how hormones and endorphin acts on the human body so I will try not to judge you so harshly.” She said raising a fork to make a point “But honey, do they know? I’ve raised you better than that!” She snapped
“ MOM! Of course they know. What type of person you think I am?”
“Well, in the beginning of the night I’ve thought you were a SINGLE type of person. Now you are a person who dates two people. AND burns pies!” Terri joked trying to light the mood. “Take a fork”.
“They know about each other, mother. And they accept it. They love me back”. Parker said reaching for her fork.
“So, how does this work?” Terri said taking a bite “Christmas with one, New Year with another?” She fake gasped “Who gets Valentine’s day?”
Parker almost chocked down the pie as she started laughing “I have no clue!”
“Oh my God. I knew that were something wrong with this town” She shook her head playfully “So, who is the better kisser?”
“MOOOO-OM!”
And they talked through the night eating pie straight from the pan.
----------
/Groupchat “Go, Hotness”
1AM
(P) Hey, sorry about the hour. I just wanted to tell you that she is THE BEST MOM EVER!
(C) U-hu! Can I now open the whiskey?
(C) That is awesome, love. Can’t wait to meet her properly
(P) Yes, love. Can you come here tomorrow around 10? I want to introduce you.
(C) I totally can. But I thing that Golden Girl have a thing with Lewis tomorrow
(P) Oun. Have you two been talking without me? <3
(C) Don’t you dare to throw my reputation in the garbage, Parker. I overheard them.
(P) Where is she, anyway?
(C) Maybe she died? Now we can have a party
(P) Ha-ha-ha. I literaly hold her heart beat and she is fine ;)
(P) And yours just peaked… Jealous?
(C) Maybe it peaked because I am out on a date with a hottie?
(C) Jealous?
At that, Parker squezzed Cas' Talisman
-“ I know that I promised to always come when you call, but this was utterly ridiculous” Cas said laughing while jumping down the window into Parkers bedroom.
-“It is an emergency, you know?” Parker said crossing the bedroom and slapping Cas arm jokefully “ My girlfriend was being an ass”.
-“Hey, you knew that I was an ass before you asked me to date you” Cas winked “And you still couldn’t resist me, could you?” Cas said grabing Parker by her waist and kissing her.
-“You really don’t deserve this kiss” Parker teased bitting down Cas lower lip and pushing back.
-“Oh, I believe I can kiss you whenever I want” Cas said while wolfily grabbing Parker back and pinning her hands beside her “Girlfriend rule: you get to date both of us, I get to kiss you whenever and wherever I want” She said kissing the blonde forcefully. As Parker gasped at the ferocity of the kiss, Cas took the opportunity to deepen it with her tongue. The kiss was hot, fast, demanding. Parker hands were quick to free themselves and find Cas’ bare back beneath her jacket as she ran a single nail earning a gasp.
“Parker… don’t start what you can’t finish” Cas warned taking her hand back in her grip and kissing her.
“Who said anything about not finishing?” Parker teased her leg between Cas thigh earning an approving moan as she pressured her core. “Careful, love…”
“Have you forgotten about that hottie already?” Parker smirked while scratching her fangs across the girls neck. Cas was barely holding her desire at bay, but she didn’t want to rush Parker into anything. “What are you afraid of, Cas?”
“I don’t want to pressure y… oh god” She gasped as Parker sucked the sensitive flesh beneath her collarbone.
“Oh, love. I know what I want. And right now, I want my 'bad girl' girlfriend to take me”. She said pulling her leather jacket out and pushing Cas into the bed.
“So hot ” Cas said taking her own shirt off and pulling Parker to straddle her lap “Tell me to stop"
"I won't"
<smut>
Parker started grinding her hip onto Cas lap, as she raised her own hip to increase the friction. She kissed Cas' neck, nipping, sucking and licking relentlessly as she felt her girlfriend reaching for her waistband. Pulling and letting it snap back."Oh!!"
"Shhh. What is your mom going to think?" Cas teased
"I really don't want to think about my mother right now. Can we go back to where you were tugging my underwear?" She chuckled
Cas smirked lifting Parker, rolling her into her back and lying on top of her.
Cas leg was expertly between the young woman thighs, her hands one each side of her head, as they rolled their hips together increasing the rhythm viciously and watched each others pleasure peaking displayed in their faces.
" Cas.. Touch me" Parker said breathlessly
At that Cas crashed her lips onto hers, her hand reaching the young woman core beneath her and finding her wet.
"You feel so delicious" she moaned against her lips as she circled her clit. Parker bulked her hips against her hands and reached down with her own hand guiding Cas' fingers towards her entrance.
"Calm down, love." Cas said breathing hard steading her hand "Have you ever done this before?"
"Cas, I really want you right now"
"And I really want to fuck you right now. But I need to know. It might hurt"
"Then kiss it better after" She said pulling Cas into a ravage kiss.
So she plunged one finger into her, hard and steady. Parker gasped at the pain and bit Cas lip to muffle her cry - humpfff-
"I am right here, love. The pain is going to die down in a second and then it is going to feel so good"
"Keep... going"
And right after Cas start to move her finger in and out, slowly and deep as her thumb kept circling her clit
"Oh...!" She moaned bitting Cas' shoulder hard.
The pain had already settled to a light trob as Parker's desire was riding in the clouds, going ever up until Cas reach down to claim her with her tongue.
"Oh, Harlow!!" Parker moaned grabbing Cas' hair. Her tongue was hot and wet, licking her clit slowly, up and down, while her finger kept working her in and out. As Parker back arched in pleasure, Cas sucked hard at her clit inserting the second finger into her.
"Hummmmp" Parker muffled into a pillow while bulking at Cas mouth increasing the friction. Cas gave her a smirk and looked up at her
"Come for me, New Girl" as she said, she increased her rhythm, as swerved her tongue in a deaf pressure against her clit.
And all went black
</smut>
-"I know is cheesy to say it after sex, but I do love you, you know that?" Parker said breathlessly chuckling
-"I know. It is definitely cheesy" Cas smiled while holding her "Are you ok? Still painful?"
-" It stings a little. But definitely worth it" She kissed Cas "Are you going to come tomorrow with my mom?"
-"Do you want me here?"
-"Of course I do"
-"Then I will" she kissed her forehead "I should go, your mom maybe ok with the ideia, but I highly doubted that she would be ok with me climbing into your bedroom"
-"You could stay and leave reeeeally early." Parker said snuggling to Cas side
-"Yes, I could"

Headcanons for @aspecpridecalendar arospec day.
I can headcanon most characters as on the aromantic spectrum, but here are a few I see as identifying specifically as "arospec."
Tycho Celchu (Star Wars Legends) - Sometimes I specify (usually grayromantic), but I pretty much always see him as arospec. It's just rare he truly feels romantically attracted to someone. He's only truly been romantically in love with Nyiestra and Wedge (or Nyiestra and Winter if you prefer canon ;)). He's also pansexual and has no issue having a sexual encounter with someone, assuming they understand more is likely off the table.
The other two are part of an exclusive club I like to call "boys who think they're straight but are really arospec bi."
Corran Horn (Star Wars Legends) - Probably also acespec. Just generally has a complicated relationship with sex and romance. He's uncomfortable being pursued, and it takes him a long time to get comfortable enough with someone to pursue something with them. Also very much (at least as of the early X-wing books) not ready to acknowledge that he likes men as well as women.
Dean Winchester (Supernatural) - Definitely aroallo. Has no problem sexing any lady who will let him, and has the easy excuse of having to move on right away rather than examine why he can't seem to actually develop deeper feelings for any of them. Probably hates his arospec identity because it's just another part of him that isn't "normal." Cassie is the only person he has ever loved. With Lisa, he liked her, but he was more in love with the idea of the normal life she offered and never did develop true romantic attraction for her. Also deeply in denial about being bi, and that along with the general rareness of romantic feelings is why it took him basically forever to work out that, oh, he kinda is into Cas actually.

Hellsite Nostalgia Tour 2023 Day 237
Our Little World/Xmas Special
“Our Little World”
Plot Description: a teen who’s lost her souls leads Dean to Crowley and a fast-growing Amara. Castiel sees an old acquaintance on TV, stuck in an earthly body
Would I Survive the First Five Minutes??: No one died…that we saw
Yeah, bet that won’t come to bite you in the ass, Crowley. “You’re strong, but I’m stronger” “…for now” how do you ground the Darkness and not think that that’s gonna come back around some day.
Oh good. Misha’s done with whatever he was up to that prevented him from being here.
Did Dean just tell Cas to go touch grass? He’s not wrong. My boy is looking rough, and all he has done is watch TV
Ok. So it took an extra episode for the Lizzie Borden fanatic to die ☹️
Oh. Oh, Cassy. He’s been watching reruns of trash tv to stave off his thoughts and memories 😭
The look, the horrible dawning realization that he’s found Metatron, and Metatron’s working as a camera operator for the news
I know this wallpaper. This is the wallpaper from the Changing Channels episode
We’re back to exorcising demons?? Wellllllllll maybe not
It’s important that a growing teen learn some good cat memes
I’ve been checking out the lamps in hell, and they are really nice. There are a bunch of like art nouveau shades, they’re gorgeous
Omg he’s not even doing it for the news, he’s like a tragedy paparazzi. He might even be orchestrating it
Man, if this old asylum is where Crowley’s been hanging out or has an entrance to hell…it REALLY shows how much wreckage Amara caused in the demon ranks
I’m glad that SOMEONE ELSE has addressed the fact that every time someone mentions (or I type) the Darkness, I feel like we’re talking about the band for a second…I do wish it was someone other than Metatron
I mean, maybe don’t bait Cas into hitting you, Mets
Sure, Crowley, we’ll call what you and Dean had BROmance
Yeah, i guess that when the Darkness said “we’ll always help each other” or something like that, it cuts both ways. It’s not just a threat to Dean. She’ll protect him too…or she’s just mad at Crowley. I dunno
I’ll piece together what the parallels of Cas and Sam’s fights mean at some point, especially since Cas had to be baited into fighting and then really went on the offensive and ends up not killing Metatron while Sam goes in looking for a fight, tries to be a pacifist, and ends up killing a few demons. Cas was also having visions back at the bunker and Sam…well, he’s having them now
The indignity of having to keep your phone charged IS rough, Metatron, I know…
I AM UNCOMFORTABLE WITH THE ENERGY WE’VE BROUGHT INTO HELL TODAY. Amara is very in love with Dean (who on this show isn’t?)
What is the lore in this show?!?! The Darkness is god’s SISTER??? (I can’t believe we’re getting this reveal when I’m so close to season 4 of Sherlock)
Why are you getting visions of the cage, Sammy??
“Xmas Special”
Plot Description: the Doctor and Clara are trapped on an arctic base and their only hope is Santa Claus!
Oh good, I waited til really late to watch another long dw episode
These elves are so mean to her!!
What a brilliant time for the Doctor to show up, seconds after Clara tells the very real Santa that she stopped believing in fairy tales
Is Santa a time lord? His sack of toys is obviously bigger on the inside…
You know what gets me about shows and movies that are meant to be for families that discuss the existence of Santa? And this might be a more recent phenomenon. But aside from the weird mechanics of adults who don’t believe in Santa still somehow finding presents under the tree from Santa on Christmas morning because of course he exists in this universe….but you’re also showing these shows to your like 5 year old who’s just learned through watching that there comes a time you stop believing in Santa even though they’re only now at an age where they can recognize Santa. It’s just weird and I have no idea if that paragraph made sense
Wtf is going on at this arctic base? Why can’t she look or think about these beings in the infirmary??
Ah damn…the Doctor and Clara fucked it up for these people. Whatever they were tying to accomplish, they just BARGE IN
LOW BLOW, DOC! You can’t bring up Danny, and you REALLY can’t insinuate that he’d be cheating on Clara. It’s too soon for her and it’ll pretty much always be too soon for her
Omg they’re really are gonna get saved by Santa…..he just sent an army of toys into this base
I’m usually not a huge fan of how Santa gets depicted in Christmas specials (not in a “this doesn’t fit my headcanon” but more in a “he’s just uninteresting” way) but this one’s at least a little fun and interesting.
I really think he’s a time lord
…I forgot they didn’t know they lied to each other…I forgot they lied to each other at the end of the last episode
I do love that they keep saying Twelve looks like a magician
He’s got a point…it would definitely be offensive, as an extraterrestrial, to find out we have a horror movie called Alien. Then again, we have a lot of horror movies named a lot of things, so…anyway “no wonder you keep getting invaded” is a good reaction
Ah, fuck. The Dream Crab got Clara.
I know this is the Doctor trying to save her, but in this perfect dream world, it’s super jarring to see the hallway walls turn into chalkboards with “DYING!” written all over them
Oh good. The Doctor has come to actually save her….excuse me?? He let himself get taken by the Dream Crabs too??
Huh…so the only way to kill them is to reject the dream
THEY DID AN INCEPTION?? The Doctor and Clara were in a dream but everyone’s been in a dream since the beginning? Since they all got into the infirmary??
He’s so against any real touchy freely stuff, and I am forever living for that
…nah, there’s still 18 more minutes. How…I don’t like this existential crisis they’re giving me “no one ever knows they’re not dreaming m. Not ever. Not for one second of our lives” don’t do that to my brain. Please
Stop physically reaching out to them!! What is wrong with you people?!
Have we really circled back to Santa’s real?? We spent a bunch of time proving he wasn’t real in the last dream, and he still might not be because this is still another dream but who knows??
This girl has an interesting Christmas itinerary. She’s gonna watch Alien and The Thing From Another World before her dad comes around. Then she’ll watch Miracle on 34th Street before what I can only imagine is a Game of Thrones marathon…and last “forgive Dave???”…which she’s somehow apparently already done that last one
Please tell me this isn’t yet another dream. What??? It’s been 62 years since they’ve seen each other??? It was another dream. When did Steven Moffat watch Inception? Did he wait four years? Because the number of levels of the dream were just too much. And then the tangerine at the end, like the spinning top.

Hurt(Part 3) -Nate Jacobs
Warnings: Cheating, slightly smut (?), revenge, not proof-read
Summary: Nate cheats again and you find out. Afterwards, you show him what he lost.
A.N; The general idea, which I am really thankful for, I got from @gogoloni
Tumblr media
Part 1 Part 2
For a week, your life was great. Nate and your relationship went awesome. You have never seen him so soft before, but you liked this side.
Currently, you and Maddy were sitting in her room, talking about the new clothes she got last Friday. The problem was you couldn't really concentrate since Nate told you after his practice. The problem was that it ended already an hour ago, and you were worried.
"I mean, can you believe this?" Maddy asked, pulling you out of your thoughts.
"I am sorry. What did you say?" You asked her, to which she just rolled her eyes.
"Seriously, what's wrong with you? You have been acting weird since I got here." She replied, annoyed.
You slowly stood up, walking around the room nervously. Maddy looked at you confused but didn't say anything, trying her best not to get angry at your weird behaviour.
"I am scared that something has happened to Nate. He was supposed to text me after practice but didn't do it." You whispered without looking at her.
You hated talking with her about Nate because you never knew how it affected her.
She let out a loud sigh and stood up from the bed, walking over to you, "Bitch, he is an asshole, and I would like to tell you he isn't cheating, but-"
You interrupted her quickly, "No, he wouldn't do that to me."
Maddy seemed to think for a moment before she turned around to get her phone, "You know when Nate and I were together, he always wanted to know where I am, so he installed some app on my phone. In my opinion, it was unfair that just he knew where I was, so I also downloaded the app on his phone while he was asleep."
You were surprised that Nate didn't want you to have such an app till now.
"And why are you telling me this?" You asked her, playing with one of the pillows on the bed.
She rolled her eyes, "I deleted the app but since I never told him that he also had the app, I still have his location."
Even if you found it weird, your eyes lit up with hope, "So you can tell me where he is?"
She nodded and tapped something on her phone before her eyebrows furrowed. You looked at her, confused but also worried.
"Maddy?" You said quietly, to which she handed you her phone.
'Nate' was written in black, bold letters over a small dot on the screen, and he was at- Cassie's house?
"That has to be a mistake, Maddy. Nate isn't at Cas'. That's impossible." You laughed, trying to make the situation more comfortable again.
"Call him, and I will call her. When they are doing what I think they do, he will walk out of the room to talk to you. When we do that, we will see it on the app." She said, looking at you.
You called Nate with shaking hands while Maddy called Cassie, still having the location app open.
It took some time for Cassie to pick up, but you couldn't concentrate on that since the little dot on Maddy's screen moved a bit before Nate also picked up.
"H-Hi, Nate. I just wanted to make sure you are okay since you didn't call me." You tried your best not to cry.
"Fuck, yeah, sorry, I am already at home, helping my mom with some shit. I will be at yours a bit later." He lied, breathing heavily.
"I am sorry, but I will sleep at Maddy's today. We will see each other in school." You mumbled.
He remained silent for a few seconds, "Fine. I got to go. Love you."
"Love you too." You tried to say without any voice crake before you hung up.
Maddy also ended her call with Cassie before she quickly hugged you tight. You started to sob, not understanding why he would cheat on you.
"He doesn't deserve you. Do you know how to hurt him the best? By pretending not to care. Break up with him, dress like a fucking hooker and ignore, but tease him." She smirked, looking at you.
Wiping away your tears, you chuckled without any emotions, "I am not like you. I can't do that."
"You can and you will. Let's pick an outfit for tomorrow." She grabbed your phone and texted Nate it was over before she pulled you to her wardrobe. You didn't ask what she texted him exactly.
----
You stood in front of the mirror, wearing a tight dark blue, long-sleeved crop top, which made your cleavage look perfect, a black legging which was a bit looser at the bottom, but tight around your ass and some sneakers. Maddy did your make-up similar to hers and curled your hair.
You looked good, but it wasn't something you usually wore.
Nate texted you the whole night, but you didn't respond. It wasn't like you didn't want to, but Maddy told you everything you have to do, to hurt him. And to hurt him was everything you wanted right now.
"Let's go, bitch." Maddy giggled, taking your hand before you two walked to school.
As you two walked through the hallways, everybody looked at you, amazed by your appearance.
On the side of the corridor, you saw Nate hand in hand with Cassie. You couldn't believe it. He texted you all night but already had a new girlfriend.
You gave Maddy a small nod before the two of you walked straight forward, passing your ex-boyfriend and ex-friend. In the corner of your eye, you saw Nate looking at you, but you didn't even blink.
----
Days turned into weeks, and you were still playing that little game. Every day you dressed more and more like a slut hooker. You ignored all his messages and calls. Whenever he got the chance to talk to you, you turned him down and just walked away. But then there were also moments where you teased him, be it with your outfit, with bending down, flirting with other guys or just a simple lick over your lip. All of it turned him crazy and mad, and you knew it. That was your advantage.
Nate, on the other hand, wasn't happy with Cassie. He only used her to release his anger and his cum. He missed you terribly, and the things you did make him insane. He never saw that side of you, but he couldn't say he wasn't turned on.
When Nate saw you flirting with one of his teammates, the anger rose inside of him. But when that guy touched your ass, he lost it completely. Nate made his way over to the two of you, grabbed the guy by his collar and pulled him away from you before he pushed him against the lockers.
"Don't ever fucking touch her again, or I will make your life a living hell." He hissed at him, and the boy nodded quickly.
Nate let go of him, and the guy ran away as fast as he could.
"What the fuck! He was going to ask me out any moment." You scoffed, to which Nate was shocked. You never talked like that to anyone, especially not to him.
"Y/N, I will say it only once, so you better listen. I miss you, and I am sorry for cheating. I am an asshole, and I don't deserve you." He mumbled, not daring to look at you.
No double you were surprised by his words, "You are right. You don't deserve me, so stop getting on my nerves and fuck your bimbo again."
"You can stop your little play. We both know you aren't like that. You are scared in the dark, you hate when others talk bad about someone, and you love to help others." Nate told you, trying his best to get some sense into you.
"Yeah, in the past. The breakup changed me, but you don't have to worry about that anymore since I am not yours." You smirked, standing on your tippy-toes to look more intimidating.
He leaned down, an amused grin appearing on his lips, "Oh really?"
Before you could even react, he pressed his lips onto yours. You immediately melted into the kiss, which got heated pretty fast.
Nate picked you up while you wrapped your legs around his torso. Slowly he moved his hands down your lower back to your ass, squeezing it.
A small moan escaped your lips, and even if you knew it was wrong, it felt nothing but right.
After a few more minutes, Nate let you down again before he reached down to your skirt, wanting to take it off, but you stopped him.
"You have a girlfriend, Jacobs." You smirked and turned around to leave, but Nate grabbed your wrist and turned you around once more.
"I always get what I want, and we both know that." He whispered into your ear.
You pulled away from his grip and rolled your eyes, heading out of the changing room.
You weren't sure if you would ever take Nate back again. Anyway, you were fine at the moment, and that was the most important thing.

Could you do “ it's you and me, forever. no matter what.” with Cassie Howard please???
Tumblr media
After all the mess with Nate, she came back to you.
''I...I got nowhere else to go,'' Cassie said at 11pm on your doorstep with her bags, her nose red and swollen from her earlier fight with Maddy, begging you with teary eyes to let her stay the night. ''We don't even have to speak. I just need a place to sleep.''
You hesitated, your fingers crisping around the door handle. ''I don't know, Cas...''
''Please, Y/N. I got nowhere else to go.'' Her voice cracked, tears filling her blue eyes.
It made your heart ache to see your ex-girlfriend so demolished and lost. You almost felt sorry for her, but then remembered that she put herself in this situation. She ruined everything good she had in her life for a guy who didn't love her, who didn’t care about her.
''I think you should call your mom, I'm sure she'll-''
She shook her head, eyes down. ''I can't. I was horrible to her these past days. And she’s probably mad that I went onstage and made a scene during Lexi's play.''
''Maybe, but I know Suze. She’ll be happy to welcome you home. No matter what you put her through, she’ll never stop loving you.''
''Can I still stay here? At least to wash off this mess.''
You watched through the mirror as Cassie removed her makeup in your bathroom, her vulnerability unwinding at the same time. She had switched her blue two-piece had been for pink tracksuit and kicked her heels off.
''I’m sorry, Y/N,'' she apologized, wiping off her mascara with a cotton-pad. ''At this point, I don’t even know why I started this with Nate. It was a huge mistake that set off an avalanche of mistakes and terrible decisions.''
Cassie turned the faucet on and washed her face with water, then took a towel to pat it dry. Her nose was still red - and sore - from when her face hit the wall. It hurt a bit too. It will likely be bruised in the morning.
She turned off the faucet and turned to you.
''Nate never loved me.'' Cassie smiled sadly, feeling dumb and gullible. ''You did. You loved me, you treated me so well and you were the best girlfriend and- and I still went with him.''
Getting chosen over Nate hurt. For a long time, you asked yourself: what did he have more than you? What made her go to him? What could he give her that you didn’t have - beside a dick?
Nate Jacobs wasn’t better than you. He just played his cards better. Because that’s that he was: a player.
''Do you think you will ever forgive me? Do you think we could ever...''
''Get back together?'' you finished.
She nodded slowly.
''I’m gonna need time.''
''Okay.'' She took your hand in hers. ''It’s you and me, forever. No matter what. Remember?''
Your heart tightened, hearing the words you told each other too many times throughout the years. From sandbox friends to girlfriends.
You smiled weakly and grabbed your hairbrush. ''Now, you really gotta brush your hair, it’s a total bird nest.''

"Cas, he's here." "be there in a minute, mum."
you shook your head before walking towards the door, a smile on your face. "good evening mrs malfoy. how have you been?" "please, call me y/n. and I'm doing great. I hope harry and ginny are doing well too?" Albus simply nodded, stepping inside.
"why don't you wait in the library, cassie will be down soon." you led albus to the library, giving him a smile before leaving to see what your daughter is up to.
albus browsed through the shelves, awestruck. he loved to read and the malfoy's library was his and cassie's favorite spot. it was theirs.
draco had come in the library at that precise moment. he had hated potter in his hogwart days, but now it was all 'water under the bridge' and he loved found potter's son admissible.
"good evening potter." albus was startled by the intrusion but nonetheless kept a straight face. like father, like son. "good evening mr malfoy." Albus found Draco a bit intimidating but he had come to terms with it. After all, Draco was his crush's best friend's father.
Draco realized that he could have a "chat" with the boy regarding his darling girl. He had seen how Albus had looked at her, it was the same way Draco used to and still looks at you, with utmost love and desire, a fire that once ignited can't be extinguished.
But he knew how boys were, and he wanted to let the boy know the consequences of any.. actions if they were to occur.
"Albus, have a seat. I wish to talk to you about something rather consequential." Albus gulped, his adam's apple bobbing hard. He felt his palms get clammy and legs stiff, as if he had committed a crime. Maybe he had, but he didn't know?
Albus took a seat at the chair which was placed near the coffee table at the centre of the room. His eyes looked around, darting back and forth rapidly to avoid the scrutinizing gaze of Draco.
Draco couldn't help but stiffle a laugh at the boy's obvious demeanor. He did not wish to traumatize the kid but simply warn him.
"I've seen how you look at my little girl albus, I know that look. If you are dating, I hope you know that if you make her cry, if I see her upset over your stupidity, I won't hesitate to hunt you down and kick your ass as the muggles say, and uh." Albus had a look of sheer amusement and surprise on his face. Him? Dating Cassie? There was no chance she'd say yes.
"Mr Malfoy actually-" "Did I allow you to speak?" Draco slightly glared at the boy in front of him who started stammering and declining profusely. "Anyways, what else was it that y/n's father said to me..." he whispered in a hushed voice, trying hard to think of the intimidating warnings y/n's father had given him.
"yes i-" "I think that's enough love. albus, cassie is at the door, you can leave." Albus gratefully nodded responding in affirmative before leaving in a haste.
Draco started to chuckle at his retreating figure, moving forward to encircle his arms around your waist. "I think I did a good job with that don't you think y/n?" "you almost gave the poor boy trauma and besides, draco, they're not together."
Draco let out a sigh, a hint of a smile ghosting his lips. "Well aren't they oblivious souls?" "Just like we were once." You grinned at him before he leaned in and kissed you passionately, warmth spreading through your body in his waking touch.
"Um first of all gross. and secondly, I'm leaving I'll be back by-" "10.30. you should be back in the manor by 10.30." Cassie groaned before protesting, managing to convince the two of you she'll be back by 11.
"Stay safe, bye."
"Well Mrs Malfoy, it's just us now, what if we have some fun of our own-" "I haven't even left yet. Jeez dad." Draco turned red with embarrassment while you couldn't help but left out a laugh.
