Climate system tipping points are connected which can lead to cascading Global climate effects

Climate System teleconnection ... climate tipping elements can be linked with the potential predictability of cascading tipping dynamics. It seems what happens in the Amazon (Deforrestation), doesn't stay in the Amazon.

What are climate system tipping points? Well Wikipedia defines them as:

“In climate science, a tipping point is a critical threshold that, when crossed, leads to large and often irreversible changes in the climate system. If tipping points are crossed, they are likely to have severe impacts on human society. Tipping behaviour is found across the climate system, in ecosystems, ice sheets, and the circulation of the ocean and atmosphere.”

Researchers were surprised to find that due to tree loss, warmer temperatures in the Amazon correlated with rising temperatures in Tibet and the West Antarctic ice sheet. They also found that when it rained more in the Amazon, there tended to be less precipitation in both of the other two regions.

"We find that the Amazon Rainforest Area (ARA) exhibits strong correlations with regions such as the Tibetan Plateau (TP) and West Antarctic ice sheet. Models show that the identified teleconnection propagation path between the ARA and the TP is robust under climate change. In addition, we detect that TP snow cover extent has been losing stability since 2008. We further uncover that various climate extremes between the ARA and the TP are synchronized under climate change. Our framework highlights that tipping elements can be linked and also the potential predictability of cascading tipping dynamics."

Today marks a major ‘Tipping Point’ in the world-dream as many key issues converge simultaneously. Within any Great SHIFT [as this world-dream moves quickly into an era of Peace and Light] there are ‘waves’ where ‘voids’ are replaced with periods of ‘high drama’. Such a moment is happening now. The incessant buffeting of this SHIFT has been felt at some level by ‘ALL’ these last 2+ years and by some few for over a decade, but today is a line in the sand … remember – this is a dream line, just an appearance in the fabric of illusions that defines the universe.

Nevertheless, most of the almost invisible puzzle pieces put into place these last 10 years will soon become visible for all to witness. The structures of dysfunctionality that have fallen away will become very apparent. A small percentage have felt this through sporadically uplifting financial benefits, but most have felt the erratic tensions as they touched their lives in less agreeable ways. This is the inevitable ‘shaking’ that occurs when tyranny collapses.

Be assured that almost all of what appears in the mainstream arena is a ‘pantomime’ [not true] and what is ‘really’ happening is benign, life enriching and increasingly beautiful as ALL will soon experience.

You know that feeling when you have so many tasks to do that you just freeze and can't think?

We just had more layoffs today at work. I have actually lost count of how many times we've been through this in the last five to six years, but it doesn't stop me from sitting here and shaking with fury.

The A-D newsroom already had two "vacancies" with Ryan McCarthy (reporter) on a leave of absence and Bryan DeMain (sports editor) resigning last week, so you could say those are two "easy" ones to lose and just not leave open to rehire. The two that I actually know were lost from the newsroom today were Todd Hansen (TCN managing editor) and Jeff Roberts (copy editor). But people in the newsroom weren't told about any layoffs from other departments, like advertising, etc.

Jeff was a TCN copy editor, and he was also building pages for the A-D and still the go-to guy for building the comics as well as helping Gordon with IT stuff. Todd was TCN managing editor.

It's insane. Insane, insane, insane. I’ve said this before, but I just don't know how many more people we can lose and still put out a product.

I keep wondering where the exact tipping point is because our new-ish editor’s philosophy is "get over it; and now here's even more stuff for you to do because I'm gonna invent stories to write about if not enough actual newsy stuff is happening." Leticia thinks it's his way of weeding people out. But if so it's weeding out good people.

Just heard we lost Heather Galloway from creative. We actually got to see her pack up her desk and leave under Devon's supervision. Grrrrrrrrrr. I guess it was kind of dumb for them to change the door code yesterday, considering that they're gonna have to change it again today.
