deep down i'll never stop being an astrology girly so here i am reading about the compatibility between marauders era characters and i might be projecting but i think they're pretty close to how i picture the dynamics

They really are a chaotic duo !!! and everyone knows it. They are really close, and love each other like siblings. But they love jokingly flirting with each other (it drives Luke crazy) like since the moment they met they instantly clicked, Stella’s more quite and sweet nature mixing amazingly well with marks sweet but loud and chaotic energy.

Mark definitely brings out Stella’s more loud, playful and chaotic side. Mark really stepped up when Luke left umich, becoming that brother and comforting person that she needed. Everyone knows that if you see Stella, mark has to be nearby. He gives off bodyguard energy with her tbh.

my personal top five in no particular order, and like, ya gotta understand im still new here (hermitcraft/life series) so my opinions are poised to change, but the current standings are:

Bdubs/Etho/Cleo, i'll be honest, i haven't written or read any clethubs, but i saw some art of them that made my brain shortcircuit. they are femdom, himbo, and twink. i just think that Etho should have two people who are stronger than he is on either side of him at all times, bonus points if you let Cleo be the tallest. Bdubs being super clingy, Etho reluctantly tagging along, and Cleo making sure they don't fucking die because yeah they are god damn idiots sometimes, but they're her idiots. and she loves them. and probably gives them noogies and headlocks them.

Cleo/Etho, their marriage in limlife is so much fucking fun, especially when read under an aro4allo lens. Etho whose been happily married for over a decade watching his friends enter relationships and realizing that he loves differently, he doesn't even love remotely close to how they love, love isn't even the right word. hes scared so he leaves, hes not doing it right and his wife must be upset about it, that must be why everythings crumbling. and Cleo, not giving two shits, because that's her husband and by god they're gonna make it work if he can realize that being absent is whats breaking up their marriage, not showing affection and intimacy differently.

Gem/Etho, as a canadian i am legally obligated to ship this, as a lesbian i love it when men have chaotic gremlin girlfriends who put them in their place. see that one episode of hermicraft wherein Gem beats his ass on repeat and he keeps coming back for more. its like, like theres an unspoken solidarity, 'hey we're the same even though we're not' and they stick with each other. predator/prey dynamic if you go with deer Gem and fox Etho, you also get it with sea monster Gem and fox Etho, except he's the prey and she has the biological advantage instead. also, when paired with the transfemme Etho headcanon we get some yuri which im always down for.

Grian/Etho, this one came to via an Ao3 commenter and i have seen two pieces of fanart for it and like, seven fics. but i still think the dynamic of bird and fox would be fun to work with in writing depending on the bird Grian is hybridized with, especially if Grian is the smaller one. also in limlife??? hello?? Etho, swearing loyalty and promising to be someones sword is not heterosexual behaviour. what they had in limlife, even if brief, had me shaking i'll be real. also, for their hermitcraft dynamic, it'd be hot if i threw Scar into the mix, for flavour.

Pearl/Etho/Tango, consensual workplace relationships make me absolutely insane, it could tear apart their business or bring it further together. they have the kind of dynamic that makes my head absolutely fucking empty, one of those 'i just think theyre neat' kind of ships. the culture clash between each of their species and their own personal tastes, Tango's a blaze and they mate for life, Pearl's a siren and they don't do much for romance, Etho's a fox and they come and go- but they make it happen in spite of that. im working on getting them a canonized Ao3 tag right now, they have such a fun dynamic. also, they fucked in that post office when no one was looking.

tbh these are all really closely tied, and i also have a soft spot for tangtho and the team ties poly. they're all really fun ships, i just really enjoy polyships to be real with ya'll. and the life series and hermitcraft are full of so many possible polyships that its just making me foam at the fucking mouth. sorry boat boys enjoyers, the vision has not yet engulfed me, but hey im a multishipper it might be yet to happen.

am i the only one who sensed some jilted lover vibes from jensen?

I thought that it was stupid that Brandon Sanderson had the narrator of Tress of the Emerald Sea call all the unnamed sailors "Dougs" when he could have just called them, you know, sailors. But then I started using the term. Turns out having a word for "yes, we know that realistically all these individuals have unique identities and personalities, but they're not the focus of this story so we're going to treat them as faceless background characters" is surprisingly useful.

#random thought of the day #because i was thinking way too deep into the portrayal of the nurses in artful dodger #and getting a bit worked up at how they're shoved aside (as usual for medical dramas) and not treated as real people #and then i was like 'calm down they're just dougs in this story it's okay'#(and then the next ep had one of the nurses call the girl a witch and i was like 'oh they remembered they have feelings. good work')#(and i felt even better)#incidentally despite my one and only post about that show being an angry nursing rant i am enjoying it #the girl's stupidly modern face and extreme entitlement are annoying #and i did skip part of ep ii because i'd just prefer not to watch relics be the butt of the joke #(even though they looked to be heading a slightly-less-offensive route than expected)#and ep 3 is going more soapy and melodramatic and less fun #but i do like that they have a 'young idealist versus experienced fatalist' dynamic going #soundtrack is fun #anachronism stays mostly on the fun side of the scale #fagin is shockingly amusing (i had expected more of a 'creepy blackmailer holding the past over his head' instead of 'chaotic criminal dad'#and i like that they're showing some restraint #(the deciding factor in watching it was my extreme surprise that a historical original was tv-14 instead of ma)#so we'll see how long it lasts but for now i'm not regretting the decision to watch

What’s up tumblr hope you had a super fun leap day. sparkle on. big news my first seed start sprouted while I was at work ✨

#might have to change the url bc I’m in my collard era lol #my day was alright #I ate some shrimp curry that I’d accidentally left out all night and was fine bc I’m a scavenger of a person #then bc I started to feel PMDD fatigue I laid in bed with great elan til my shift started #then I spilled coffee all over my work clothes bc I stuck it in a very sketchy travel mug someone left in our house at the last party #and I listened to Screamin Jay Hawkins on the ride to work which was fun #work was a bit chaotic but uneventful and got to spend a huge chunk of it outside #it seems I have way better ball control than I did when I was a kid. whyyy now. i was such a loser I could have used some athleticism #but I’m so glad it’s the weekend so I can go palliative care mode which is what I call my lizard brumation pmdd phase #and stopped by a friend’s house after work which was nice #really rejuvenating #then made a sort of weird frittata w/ beets peppers and potatoes bc I was too tired to actually cook #watched sense and sensibility 1995 and really liked it although I found myself wishing for a bit more anguish. sorry #and I think I might set out one of the frozen almond croissants to proof overnight so I can bake it for bfast tomorrow #will go for a very short swim but probably only about 30 min bc of aforementioned fatigue. then pick up yogurt and a silly little treat #and will have ****** and **** for dinner either tomorrow or Saturday which will be nice #but really hoping Saturday because **** **** ** **** lol #and then Sunday I’m trepidatious about because **** was like what are you doing Sunday and I’m like well I guess having a fraught and #difficult conversation about our dynamic! lol #I’m very lucky to have proactive friends who are good communicators. truly I do not deserve his kindness. but like. god. let me retreat and #lick my wounds!#i shan’t get into it. but just know I know how S&G felt #and then another work week but I’m starting to really get a feel for the routine and what works and what doesn’t #and I’m excited for my next few meal preps we got millet and kale gratin #and a Lebanese chickpea dish the name of which unfortunately escapes me atm #but my mouth is watering thinking about it. saw a vid and was instantly influenced and went to the pantry to see if I had the stuff and I #dooooooooooo #and I do feel like I’m beginning to get past the worst of [event] and its sadness

So this is a very random question but are there any foods that Riku could easily and happily eat loads of at a time?

To explain the sudden question, my friend linked me to a video of a show with the seiyuu that was suggested to you for Riku, Nobuhiko Okumura I think his name is??? But yeah, he and a few other where doing a challenge where they had eat a desert every minute for 45 minutes and omg it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Like he starts off so strong (And I mean strong, this man straight up inhaled a slice of cake in two bites) and then you just slowly start to see his soul leaving his body. I would send you a link but I accidentally deleted the tab so it's gone forever... But I think the channel was called something like Abema??? If I ever find it again, I will let you know.

But yeah anyway, I was watching it and thought "why can I so easily imagine Riku doing something stupid like this?" Like he got dared to enter a competition like this so his stubbornness comes out and he has many regrets afterwards. So yeah, if he were to be talked into doing something like that, what foods would it require to persuade him? Or would it not take much persuasion at all?

And honestly? Thanks for reading my insane ramblings, this was probably one of the dumbest things you've ever had to read so thanks for taking the time ✌️

OK first off thank you for sending me this, I absolutely ADORE when anyone asks/talks to me about Riku no matter how dumb they might think it is because as we all know I love my little scrunky and the fact that y'all come up/think about fun scenarios or facts or whatever with him makes my day so again thank you!!!

SECOND to be honest Riku is a real foodie so he's very much one of those "I'll eat anything" kinda people. I haven't really thought about any specific food he loves (although I could see him really liking cheese lol) he absolutely adores his mom's cooking and always asks for seconds. In terms of desserts and treats though I feel like he's a cookie guy :]

Third HELP I LOVE THAT IDEA SO MUCH?? I can imagine it really wouldn't take much to convince because as I said he's a foodie and he has a sweet tooth so of course he would be down for something as ridiculous as that 💀. A scenario that is starting to form in my head is like: Riku happily says that he would eat any kind of dessert and Akiren is like "oh really 👀 I don't believe you" and Riku is like "alright bet give me some desserts and let's do this". I can also imagine Ann would take part in the challenge because she is more chaotic than people think (also Riku brings out that side in her) AND she's totally doing it out of solidarity for one of her best friends and not so she has an excuse to eat as much desserts as she likes 💀. Either way both of them and their stomachs are regretting it big time but hey they had fun 💀

And then you two laugh about how your opponent died

There's a change in your dynamic after that day, the two of you becoming partners in crime

Those pranks and punishments you two used to use on each other? Now you're combining forces to use them on everyone else

Peeta as the smallest of 3 brothers definitely had to resort to dirty plays like biting in his youth.

First off, you're right and you should say it. Second off, Peeta being the youngest is 1000% a dynamic in his relationship with Katniss once they start to recover.

No bc listen. I was the youngest of three siblings and while we never got into physical fights I learned QUICK how to use my mouth to win what battles couldn't be fought physically because my siblings would 100% go to jail for trying to rock a 3 y/os shit. So Peeta was running his mouth religiously around the household. Can't tell me otherwise. "If it weren't for the baby??" Girl, he was biting AND flappin his lips. 100% would get pinned to the ground by his brothers and be like "wow I feel bad for your girlfriend" before getting his shit rocked. He'll offer them tips inbetween punches. "Aim for the throat. Wow, you're still pathetic."

Second, Katniss is the eldest, Peeta is the youngest in their families. Once they're more secure in their relationship, Peeta is 100% causing fun! problems 24/7. She's stressed the fuck out she's gonna come home one day from hunting again and half the house is repainted with all of the furniture just shoved into one big pile away from the drying walls like "WHY DID YOU DO THIS??" "bored :))" because he's so dangerously intelligent, I'm thoroughly convinced he's a practical fucking moron. He probably had to create his own entertainment as a child, he's used to being ignored. If he gets an idea to rearrange the furniture, he just does it. Katniss and Haymitch both have to intervene with how much this happens because Katniss complained about it to Effie once, and Effie started rambling about this thing called "feng-shui," and now Peeta is completely obsessed and will spend several hours to the point of obsession planning with Effie not just his decor, but literally fucking everyones, and Katniss tried to warn Haymitch "Hey, we need to fucking stop this," and Haymitch just said "get out of my house." But now Haymitch is too sober to deal with the constantly changing furniture, and why is this idiot painting his ceiling, and can you please pick up a hobby that doesn't involve majorly changing the layout of our houses? Peeta says no. Katniss instead comes home to Peeta having several geese chasing him at Haymitchs training. He's been waiting for an excuse to reveal this.

She stops feeling bad for needing his constant comfort once he starts biting her out of boredom. Oh, come on. You can see it. He would absolutely look at her arm one night and go "you look nice :))" before taking a giant fucking bite that makes her question every decision she made from age 16-18. There's a solid minute where they just sit in their bed at a standstill. She's holding her book in shock, he's just frozen still biting her. She says "What the fuck" he says "nostalgia :))" to which she's further confused and slightly terrified. She learns how to duck. He learns how to lure her in easier. Post-canon angst + comfort is cute, give me chaotic Peeta torturing his wife who just wants five minutes of peace but secretly adores her dangerously clever idiot of a husband

Imagine when they have kids. That woman is gonna go from "peetas baby!" To "your child."

He likes tossing the motherfuckers in the air. He's the kinda dad who will take off RUNNING with the shopping cart, shove the thing as far away as he can and just wave "bye bye! :))" to the baby inside of the cart that's laughing wildly while Katniss is just chasing this fucking thing down through the store like it's the quarter quell all over again and everyone else is just watching like "Jesus Christ he's doing it again." It gets worse when Peeta collaborates his children with the attacking geese to use against Haymitch when he tries to prevent him from repainting his ceiling again.

A list of underrated Christmas movies for everyone who is getting tired of watching the same things every year:

This year, I wanted to make a list of a few Christmas movies that I feel are a bit underrated and under-appreciated, because I’m tired of seeing the same things all the time. If anyone has any suggestions for their own lesser known holiday movies, please feel free to include them!

Arthur Christmas: An animated movie that should be a classic, but it was unfortunately lost to time because it had a horrible marketing campaign that made it look like complete shit. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s not complete shit. It’s actually fucking amazing.

Arthur, the clumsy son of the current Santa Claus is known for being a lovable idiot who tends to ruin everything he touches, but when a little girl’s present is accidentally left behind one Christmas, Arthur, an elf named Bryony, and his grandfather (a previous Santa…so grandsanta) embark on a chaotic mission around the world to deliver the missing present. Every character in this movie is so fucking funny and empathetic at the same time. Arthur embodies the true meaning of Christmas in everything he does. Bryony is just…on another level entirely. Arthur’s brother Steve (a strategic genius who wants to use his new technology to ensure his place as the next Santa) is a perfect antagonist that the audience still feels sympathy for. They all just have such a fun dynamic, and it’s a crime that more people haven’t seen this.

Spirited: A fairly new addition to the Christmas movie ranks, since it came out in 2022 (but it was on AppleTV+ so no one watched it). Spirited is a modern, musical version of A Christmas Carol like you’ve never seen before (starring Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds, who are an amazing combination in anything). If you’re tired of seeing endless retellings of Dickens' story, just watch this. It’s hilarious, heartfelt, and it brings a whole new perspective to the story in a way that I’m not going to spoil. And the songs go so hard it’s insane.

Happiest Season: A rom-com in which a woman named Abby desperately wants to propose to her girlfriend Harper over the holidays during Harper’s family Christmas party…only to realize that Harper’s extremely rich and conservative family doesn’t know she’s gay. Fun rom-com shenanigans ensue. Did I mention Abby is played by Kristen Stewart, and Harper is played by Mackenzie Davis? Also Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie, and that guy from Schitt’s Creek everyone loves are in it.

This could easily have been a completely different movie if the cast wasn't so funny and didn’t have such good chemistry. It starts out as a standard holiday rom-com, but I was tearing up by the end of this the first time I watched it. If you’ve ever felt like you’ve been hiding your true self from your family or if you’ve felt like you’ve never been good enough for them, I think you’ll see a lot to relate to in this.

Violent Night: Another new addition to the ever-expanding list of Christmas movies, this aptly named action thriller also came out in 2022, and I feel like no one has spoken about it since, which is a crime because IT WAS SO MUCH FUCKING FUN!

When a grizzled, down on the world Santa (played by David Harbour) gets stuck in a rich family’s house while it’s being overrun by mercenaries, he has to Die Hard his way out and save the hostages (or at least the ones who are worth saving) before it’s too late. This was such a fun surprise, because violent action thrillers are so hit and miss for me personally. David Harbour is great. It’s just under 2 hours of watching shitty people get their comeuppance in unique ways. I’m so offended that it only has a 6.7/10 on IMDB, because this is a great movie to watch with a group of friends and some age appropriate beverages. Yeah, it’s not a masterpiece, and maybe my standards are low, but I had a great time with this.

Tokyo Godfathers: An anime Christmas classic directed by Satoshi Kon in which 3 homeless people (a former drag queen, a runaway teen, and a grumpy alcoholic) find a baby in a dumpster and try to reunite it with its family. This was the movie that tricked me into thinking Satoshi Kon’s other works would be just as comedic and wholesome as this one. It’s got humor. It’s got heart. It’s got twists and turns that will keep you guessing in the classic Satoshi Kon fashion. And the English dub is just as good as the sub, so you can’t go wrong either way.

Neo Yokio- Pink Christmas: Speaking of anime…I’ve talked about this one before, but I have to mention it again because it’s a staple for me every year. Pink Christmas is the Christmas special for the…anime (and I use that word in the loosest way possible) Neo Yokio…aka the one starring (and possibly made by?) Jaden Smith.

For anyone who’s never heard of it, Neo Yokio is a series on Netflix that is the closest thing to a professionally made Abridged Series we’ll ever have. The “plot” of the series revolves around Kaz, a pink haired guy who fights demons and does increasingly absurd rich people things with his robot mecha butler named Charles. The Christmas special involves Charles telling Kaz a Christmas story about the city’s Secret Santa competition for all the ultra rich people.

Look, there’s no good way to describe this one, but trust me when I say you don’t have to watch Neo Yokio to understand it, since even people who do watch Neo Yokio don’t understand it. In fact, I think it will be even funnier if you don’t watch Neo Yokio at all before watching Pink Christmas (but I encourage everyone to watch the series too, just because it’s more of the same insanity.)

Every line in it is pure comedic gold, not because it’s truly funny, but because it’s absurd and ridiculous in a way only Jaden Smith can be. I quote it incessantly while eating a Toblerone every year.

Cabin Pressure at Christmas: Molokai: Okay, it’s not a movie or even a TV special, but I love Cabin Pressure so much that I had to include this too. Cabin Pressure is a comedy radio show (not a podcast, an actual radio show) that aired on BBC Radio 4 in the early 2000s about an airline crew for the world’s shittiest airplane.

For anyone who watched season 2 of Good Omens, you might recognize the name John Finnemore as one of the writers. Well, Cabin Pressure is made by (and stars) the same person. The Christmas episode is one of my favorites of the series, and you 100% don’t need to listen to the entire series to enjoy it. It captures the humor and despair of being stuck with your co-workers on Christmas eve, but it keeps up the spirit regardless. This is another one I quote incessantly, and the whole show has become hardwired into my personality. PLEASE FIND A WAY TO LISTEN TO CABIN PRESSURE! I’m pretty sure the whole series is available on iTunes as an audiobook.

As honorable mentions, I want to include Rise of the Guardians and Klaus, because even though they have a fair amount of popularity, I still feel like people could appreciate them more. And sure, Rise of the Guardians might be more of an Easter movie, but it still includes Santa as a character, and he’s amazing.

Can we get some thing for a platonic miles, Gwen, Hobie, pavitr and reader just having fun? Like since they're all around the same age, maybe headcanons of what they liek to do with reader. How would they react to someone messing with reader?

Hanging out with you (Yandere Spiderverse x reader).

Depending on whether or not they're hanging out with you individually or all together as a group the dynamic is different. Most of the time, they're hanging out with you together, since it's much easier to just go to HQ than sneak you into their dimension.

It's very common for at least one of them to be with you at all times. Most of the time that's Gwen, since she spends a lot of her time in HQ. Out of all of them, Miguel prefers you hang out with Gwen. She's responsible and he knows you aren't going to get hurt when she's with you. Gwen likes teaching you how to dance or how to play the drums. Honestly, she wants to be a mentor towards you, it gives her a sense of belonging that she desperately craves. The days where she brings Miles with her, she feels most at peace, since she's able to be with two of her favorite people.

Pavitr is also pretty responsible, mostly because he couldn't live with himself if you got hurt on his watch. Unlike Gwen, he isn't afraid to bring you into his dimension, preferring to hang out with you their because he thinks HQ is so boring. Pavitr loves seeing you happy, so he really doesn't care what you want to do as long as you're happy doing it. Also, like Gwen, he tends to hang out with you and Hobie. When he's with Hobie, he gets a little more mischievous and will get you to play pranks on the other spiders.

Miles doesn't come to HQ often, since he's busy with school and his own dimension. He really only comes around when he wants to hang with Gwen. However, that doesn't mean he doesn't want to see you. In fact, he's tried many, many times to get you to enroll in his school to spend more time with him. He really doesn't see a problem with it, since you're around his age and shouldn't be spending all your time at HQ. But he's super intimidated by Miguel, so he doesn't really bring it up. When he's with you, he really just wants to relax, since he doesn't get to do that with being Spiderman and all. He prefers to just listen to music with you and draw, as it helps with his anxiety.

Finally, there's Hobie. Hobie really just does what he wants, so he doesn't see a problem with bringing you to his dimension or hanging out with you whenever he wants. Miguel really doesn't like you hanging with Hobie since he views him as a troublemaker that will tarnish your innocent nature, but that doesn't stop Hobie from showing up at your door randomly and welcoming himself in whenever he pleases. Like I mentioned, he's with Pavitr most of the time, and the three of you will hang out together. Hobie is like an older brother to you, teasing you and playfully annoying you, but never anything that goes too far. Hobie is also the one who can read you the best, so you can't really hide anything from him.

All of them together is kinda chaotic. They work together pretty well, but they can all be pretty demanding of your attention. This can cause a lot of arguments that you mostly just dissociate from until one of them ask you to take a side. Once all the arguments are over, all they really care about it being with you. Sleepovers are very common, which does not amuse Miguel when he comes in to check on you.

If anyone was to mess with you, they wouldn't see the light of day. They really don't appreciate anyone messing with their friends, and that applies to you as well. This isn't even mentioning Miguel, who really, really, doesn't take any offense to you lightly. Either way, even if it's something minor, they are all ready to defend you like your life depended on it.

sorry this is kinda short! also i've never written anything poly before so it might not be the best. i procrastinated finishing this all week cause my brain ran out of ideas but anyways enjoy 🫶

u either meet them and they're already in an established relationship OR u guys r all best friends and they both realize how much they like u and how much they like each other and eventually u guys all start dating

ur guys relationship is such a fun dynamic. like ur dating both of ur best friends it really can't get better than that

all jokes aside tho u guys have a really secure relationship and are able to do things in pairs rather than all 3 of u being together 24/7

like u and woojin, u and gunwoo, and gunwoo and woojin all have ur own things u like to do in pairs and it's nice for whoever doesn't go to have some alone time

they (try to) teach u how to box if ur interested

or if ur a boxer urself even better! all 3 of u can practice and compete in tournaments together (ur gonna be rich from all the prize money u guys win together)

practices with all 3 of u usually ends up with u guys just messing around but it's fun while it lasts

trying to go to sleep with these two is chaotic to say the least. u guys all eventually end up moving in together and apartments r expensive so u guys thought it would be a good idea to just have one bedroom with a singular king sized bed in it
