puss in boots’ (and also shrek universe movies in general) takes on fairy tale characters is so good. the way they make them grittier and darker by making a lot of them bounty hunters/crooks/etc without making it overly edgy and still keeping the fairytale whimsy of it all and keeping elements of the original fairytales/nursery rhymes is FANTASTIC i love these movies so much

There’s a very specific type of antihero I’m noticing that loves committing atrocities for the heck of it, but figures out that their in-universe moral coding means they can only karmically get away with committing atrocities if it’s for their family (to save them, help them, etc).

And their response is to build the BIGGEST FOUND FAMILY EVER so they can get away with committing EXTRA ATROCITIES.

And it works.

well, guess who lost control of my hands again and was compelled to scribble down designs for ANOTHER Deltarune AU? yeah. me. it doesn't really have a proper name yet so I've just been calling it Changeling AU for now, I'll figure that out later.

these would be the cast's dark world designs; they parallel early Deltarune concepts in which the lightners would turn into monsters in the dark world-- with a few medieval fantasy fae-flavored twists this time around. mortals become a variety of magical beasts in the fae's dark realm, with only 'Kris' strangely unaffected... aside from the hue shift and conspicuously pointed ears, that is.

the main 'Kris' of this AU isn't the only human in town. instead, they're ironically the only one in town who ISN'T human, though not even they know it yet. in reality they're a Changeling, a fae creature that was left as a 'gift' to replace a taken human child. they can do things, strange things. animals come to them in the night, and the cool touch of iron burns their skin. they're afraid of what they see in the mirror; human eyes don't gleam in the dark, and their teeth shouldn't be so sharp. so they hide their features, and they ignore the whispers of the townsfolk, and they keep their head down.

they made a mistake, a terrible one... and they need to set it right.

meanwhile, the human they replaced is still out there somewhere in the fae world, twisted by its curse into a cornered, desperate beast seeking any escape from the realm that has held them prisoner all their life. it's said that when the full moon casts deep shadows over the woods, you can still hear their anguished howls in the dark begging for the name that once was theirs. they can never leave the dark world without it. they'd do anything to get it back.

all they've ever really wanted was to find their way home.

I don't know why I was thinking about this but I got wondering about those silly little fandom things like what kind of dog would represent certain characters for Spy x Family, and like...

Loid and Anya are kind of obvious. Anya's something small and cute with stubby legs, like a chihuahua or a dachshund. Maybe a pomeranian. And Loid is one of those working dogs who can be highly trained but are also incredibly protective, like a German shepherd or a malinois.

But Yor...

If Yor and, by extension, Yuri are anything other than "husky/shepherd mixes" that were found abandoned on the side of the road by a well-meaning yet clueless individual who didn't know enough about dogs to realize they accidentally domesticated two wolf pups... Then I don't know what we're doing here

#those quotation marks are doing a lot of heavy lifting btw #it actually does work in context too #not just that the briar siblings are both weirdly powerful individuals with protective streaks a mile long #and are both incredibly family-oriented (for the people they deem as family)#but also that they're not very good at socializing with other individuals?#like they CAN and do so often but there's always something just a little off about them that everyone can pick up on #which would be the case with normal dogs interacting with wolves (if you know the wolf doesn't immediately act hostile)#which would be more the case with yuri but yor can also shift very quickly into aggressive if she perceives any threat #but i also love the mental image of tiny puppy chihuahua!anya having two absolutely terrifying adopted parents #spy x family #silly post

FNAF Theory: Eclipsedrop & Roxy Will Co-Guardian (And Co-Parent) Cassie...

this is just a theory, but I believe that it could be possible that both Eclipsedrop (that make up fusion of Sundrop and Moondrop’s different personalities fused together...) and Roxanne “Roxy” Wolf, might end up becoming co-guardians and protectors of Cassie, possibly protecting her from Monty, Chica and Freddy.

I’m not sure if this theory will be 100% true and it is possible it might get debunked once the Ruin DLC comes out on July 2023.

which once again, I got so excited about it, I had forgot that after May, it will be June next....so it will be a bit longer, but once it does become June, then it will be one more month to wait for the free DLC.

which if it does end up on the Xbox One, I hope I can get it for the Xbox One.

so yeah my theory is that Eclipsedrop or we can just call “Eclipse” for short,

and even Roxy, will end up becoming co-guardians of Cassie, it might not be known if Chica will end up becoming Cassie’s guardian...

even if there is the fan theory that she might become one.

but maybe in theory, if Roxy, Chica and Monty do change back into good, because Cassie helped them, then those three along with Eclipsey will have to protect Cassie from Freddy.

so maybe if Roxy and Eclipsedrop starts out as Cassie’s first two guardians and before Chica and Monty are added in once she saves them.

that would make them Mama Roxy & Papa Eclipsey.

cause that makes Monty the cool Uncle and Chica the Sweet Aunt.

if Gregory can get a Adoptive Dad that becomes his FazDad...

then Cassie gets a Wolf-Mama...

I’m not sure if this theory will turn out to be true or not, but it would be nice if Cassie did get some form of protection and isn’t trying to save Gregory on her own, like she was originally going to, but ends up befriending Eclipsey and even Roxy, and the three of them end up befriending and saving Monty and Chica...but aren’t able to do so with Freddy and the four of them have to keep Cassie safe while she tries to find Gregory....

but it could turn out the Freddy chasing Cassie, isn’t the same Freddy...

like there could be a reason for those other Alternate Endings, and the one where Vanessa is free and Gregory had went with her, with Freddy...

that could be the real Friendly Freddy, and the one who wanted Gregory to despicable Vanny, might of been the Bad Freddy...and who tricks Gregory into believing he got a second wind, but really he didn’t....and Moony might of took the real one to a recharge station.

and we might of been playing two versions of Gregory this whole time, well not everyone has to agree with that theory.

but it might explain why there was two of Vanessa in one of the endings, one being in the Vanny outfit and the other on the roof.

and it could turn out the Gregory that Cassie is trying to go save, isn’t really the real Gregory, and the real one is living happy with Vanessa and the Real Freddy that he befriended and was able to reunite with even after the Bad Freddy did fool him for a while, but lucky Gregory got separate from but he is still in the Mega Pizzaplex, and it could be possible that Cassie is in danger.

if Cassie went missing, Gregory might of thought she was at the Mega Pizzaplex.

but it could turn out she fell into that ball pit that let’s you travel through time.

and it takes her a while to get back, because she was being kept captive by Henry Emily, who thought she was Charlotte Emily, like if there was a mini-game, it could have Cassie try to escape Henry, but also find out some dark secrets about Henry that no one would suspect.

it could turn out that Henry was responsible for the missing children, because he wanted his daughter back. or he didn’t cause the missing children incident, but still might have some form of connection to it, even if he might of not meant for it to happen....and how did Charlotte even get outside where William Afton could get her in the first place, and who even kept the Puppet in the box and kept them from keeping Charlotte safe...?

but the green eyes of the puppet in that mini-game, it is like when Circus-Baby’s eyes went from blue to green....

it could mean that the security puppet, might of had Elizabeth’s soul inside it, and Henry knew this whole time.

like the good part that was taken out of Circus-Baby, might of been the part that was Elizabeth Afton, and it was then placed into the Security Puppet that would end up being tasked in protecting Charlotte Emily.

if Gregory and Cassie were robots, or like some form of bio-synthetic humans.

they might of been both based on The Crying Child (William Afton’s Son) & Charlotte Emily (Henry Emily’s Daughter) and at some point the two became adoptive family to each other, becoming brother and sister, and not knowing their true origin.

Cassie worried about Gregory, might have to do with them being either just a friend or a sibling to him.

we wont know their relationship until we see it for ourselves in the ruin dlc.

but it wont show until July 2023, so we will have to wait.

I still like the idea about Roxy & Eclipsey Co-Parenting Cassie, and both of them becoming her guardians, but we don’t know if they will or not and we can only guesses and theories.

guess we could see this as a Eclipsey x Roxy Ship, and now they have a daughter. XD

Surprises you say? Hm, very well. I am quite invested in bringing Cosmogyral to Tumblr. Lets start with Ren & Shelby, yeah? ---- Ren & Shelby Grace, siblings raised in the facility. Ren's the older sibling and theres a lot of miscommunication between them post escaping the facility.

Ren thinks Shelby is working for the facility, Shelby thinks Ren is working for the facility. ---

"Youre my brother!.. You were my brother." "I still am your brother!" "Youre helping the people hurting us! Hunting us, hunting me and for fucks sake Ren, my kids!"

"What?! No Im not! I thought- Shelby I thought you were working for the facility!" "What?!" He starts laughing, and Shelby thinks her brother's gone crazy. She stayed in front of False and Oli, and Katherine too; a part of her wanted to protect the three of them. When Ren stopped laughing, the look in his eyes was knowing.

"Shelby, Im not working for the facility.. Guys, its okay. You can come out."

How Shelby hadnt noticed the other group of people prior to her and Ren brawling it out, was unbeknownst to her due to the heightened hearing and sight she normally possessed. She supposed Ren somehow blocked her senses even without him knowing.

"...Hello." "Hi?" "Ren, who-" "Shelby, these are my friends, and my kids. Lizzie, Joel, Tango and Martyn."

She looked at the two blonde children, and then back at her brother. She understood the look he had given her when he stopped laughing. The knowing look? It was because these people, these blonde kids, were his family too. These kids were like False and Oli to her, they were his kids, like False and Oli were her's. She understood him now, and he knew this.
