I find it concerning that Skye has only been presented by you as a child, no grown adult version. Yet already, we get a ask about her possibly being trans? I've seen the previous ask about the concern for the possible trans-gender care for Cathy as a kid. So I understand the worry around it. I have seen stories of those who underwent trans-care and regretted it.

Skye is your character, she is what you make her, but the idea of her being her being trans should be saved for when you flesh out a grown up Skye. I hope you understand my concern.

Again I do see where you're coming from anon, and I just want to mention that gender affirming is constantly misconstrued as the possible medical care only.

When it's only one out several aspects which gender affirmation consists of (there's for example legal (name and gender changes on documents etc), psychological (help preventing internalized negative beliefs...)), and is a relevant topic to stages of age like adolescense and adulthood (depending on the person),

as opposed to social affirmation (name, pronouns, expressing through clothing or hairstyle for example, ackowledgement and recognition by others)

#also #regarding that previous ask I don't mind hearing ideas for my characters and stuff even if they're not canon to my story #(like who skye's parents could be) I can go ''mhm mhm interesting concept''#I don't remember if I've mentioned this before or not but what I don't wanna see is people shipping cathy and skye's adult versions #just. just dont. they're my characters and if I say they're friends then that's how it is
