Note
Sorry if you already answered this qoustion and sorry if we were suppose to only as one qoustion. 1, 2, 9 and 10 for Honey Lemon and Varian. Also, you Fic is amazing and I hope you are having a good day. (Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes)
Thank you. My day has been fine and your spelling/grammar is quite good. I make spelling mistakes all the time so no need to apologize to me. :)
1.What inspired you to write the fic this way? - I was looking for ways to develop the rest of Big Hero Six outside of just Hiro and decided to focus on each one's unique relationship with Varian. Hiro is the little brother, Tadashi the is the annoying big bro that has your back, Wasabi is the best friend that bails you out of jail, Fred is the best friend that landed you in jail in the first place, Gogo is like a cool big sister, and Honey Lemon wound up becoming the unrequited love interest/crush because she and Varian have so much in common.
2. What scene did you first put down? In terms of HL and V's relationship, it was the scene in Coffee and Chemicals where he rescues her from a chemical explosion in the lab. It wasn't intended to be romantic originally, I just thought I'd be a good parallel to when Quirin rescued Varian from the amber. But next thing I know, Varian is trying to sneak into Honey Lemon's apartment with a bottle of wine and I'm having to beat him off with a stick. Basically, after writing that scene the character refused to date anyone else. The boy was in love and wouldn't listen to me, the author, trying to tell him otherwise.
9. Were there any alternate versions of this fic? Originally the fic was much shorter and the rest of the BH6 gang didn't have much focus. Tadashi also wasn't going to be a part of the story at all. Back then, in the early drafts, Varian and Karmi dated while Hiro hooked up with Megan in a pair the spares kind of deal. You can see the remnants of this idea in Wagers in Romance. They were cute together, but after writing the lab rescue scene with HL, I realized that neither the Varian and Karmi relationship, nor the Hiro and Megan pairing, really developed the characters. There was no drama, no conflict; so while wholesome and cute, none of the pairings pushed the story forward. Which is fine when it's a shorter story with less focus on developing relationships, but as I moved into the longer formed format I knew I needed more.
10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story? Conflict. As I changed the focus of the story to a more serialized format where everyone was supposed to develop and grow in some way all of the relationships had to have a point of conflict to them to instigate such growth. And I do mean all of the relationships, weather they be romantic, platonic, or antagonistic they all have conflict now. So Hiro and Karmi became more of the thing because they had the most to learn from one another. I'm building up to a Megan and Trina relationship, because it helps to further Trina's on going story. And Honey Lemon and Varian have their thing going on because theirs is in actuality the most drama heavy relationship. It's been a long slow build up to it, but Honey Lemon and Varian actually have a lot of unresolved issues regarding themselves and their relationship and that's all slowly coming to a head in season three. Their interpersonal conflict brings a lot of Varian's internal conflict forward and pushes the story along. The plan is, that by the end, regardless of who they end up with, both characters will have grown and matured.

Hey everyone! So i have been really wanting to write a one shot of Tadashi and Hiro having a bonding moment since we didn’t get to see much of it in the movie or series.
So i decided to write about the time Tadashi taught Hiro how to ride his first bike, just like the first scene we say in the Series. Hiro is 7 and still in school in this timeline, plus I think it would be a super wholesome scene that we really needed to see in the show, but I’ll let you all decide.
This my first time I’ve ever written a BH6 Fic so I apologize if the characters are “out of character”. Ive never written Baymax or Hiro so i do apologize if its not exactly how their characters are in the show. anyway Enjoy!
Bike Day
It was a beautiful day in San Fransocyo, Tadashi was happy that it was the weekend. He had been working hard on a special project at school, that he missed spending time with his little Brother Hiro.
“Hey Little Bro! Time to get up sleepy head.” Tadashi said waking up his little brother.
“Tadashi, it’s Saturday and it’s 7:00am, we sleep in remember.” Hiro moaned sleepingly.
“Come on, we can’t get anything done if your asleep. Plus Aunt Cass and I have a surprise for you, but we can’t give it to you if your asleep.” Tadashi said turning around to leave gazing back at Hiro.
“Wait you said a surprise!” Hiro said excited shooting up from his bed.
“Yeah, but your not ready. So i guess I’ll just have to return it, what a shame.” Tadashi said giving a sad pout.
“No, No, I’m up!” Hiro said putting his shoes on.
“Okay, I’m ready!” Hiro said walking towards his brother.
“Alright, Aunt Cass said we have to eat Breakfast first.” Tadashi said ruffling his hair.
Hiro let’s out a small laugh “Okay, but can i get my surprise after?” Hiro asked fixing his hair.
“Yes, but you know Aunt Cass requires us to eat breakfast before we start the day heh.” Tadashi said with a chuckle.
“Okay.” Hiro answered walking down the stairs.
Tadashi and Hiro walked to the dinning room of the cafe and saw Aunt Cass cooking.
“Good Morning Aunt Cass!” Hiro and Tadashi said in unison.
“Good Morning Boys!” Aunt Cass said giving them a big hug.
“Take a seat, Breakfast is ready.” Aunt Cass said putting the Pancakes, Eggs, and bacon on the plates and putting it on the table.
“Thanks Aunt Cass.” Hiro said his Aunt.
“Yes thanks Aunt Cass, It’s delicious.” Tadashi complimented.
“Aww thank you! You two are so sweet!” Cass said with a thankful smile.
“Ohh did you tell Hiro about his surprise yet?” Cass asked Tadashi.
“Not yet Aunt Cass” Tadashi answered.
“Ooh I’m so Excited! Hiro i know you’ll love it!” Aunt Cass said picking up a few plates.
Hiro began to think what this special surprise was as he continued to eat his breakfast “I wonder what it could be, it could have been anything. A new video game, or some cool machine his brother invented just for him, or it could even be something I’ve been wanting for a long time, a bike.” Hiro thought to himself.
After a few moments Hiro began to eat a bit faster, Tadashi began to notice Hiro eating faster than he usually did.
“Whoa Hiro slow down, you keep eating like that and your going to get a stomach ache.” Tadashi said finishing his breakfast.
“I just really want to know what my surprise is?” Hiro answered finishing the last bit of food on his plate. Tadashi let out a small chuckle as he saw his brother finish his breakfast. He began to pick up his plate when he heard Hiro “I’m done! Can i go see my surprise now?!” Hiro asked excitedly.
Hiro noticed his excitement and composed himself, “I mean, I’d like to see my surprise now if i can? Not that I’m super excited or anything” Hiro said with a grunt.
Tadashi let out a small chuckle as his brother tried to act cool “Alright Hiro, but pick up your plate and put it in the sink.” Tadashi said putting his plate in the sink.
Hiro nodded and picked up his plate, he made his way to the sink but was to short to reach it. “A-almost g-got i-it..” Hiro grunted trying to reach the sink by stepping on his tippy toes.
“Here let me help” Tadashi said picking up his brother and putting him on his shoulders.
Hiro let out a small laugh as his brother picked him up and put him on his shoulders. He gently put the plate in the sink, “Thanks Tadashi” Hiro said.
“No problem bro, now you ready to see your surprise?” Tadashi asked holding onto his brothers legs making sure he doesn’t fall.
“Yes!” Hiro said excitedly.
“Alright lets go!” Tadashi said as he began to bounce up and down and moving side to side making airplane sounds as he took Hiro outside.
Hiro laughed and wrapped his arms around his brothers neck making sure he didn’t fall as his brother took him outside. Aunt Cass smiled as she saw her two nephews having fun, she knew it was hard for them to adjust to this new life when their parents died. Aunt Cass grabbed her camera and began to follow the boys outside when she passed the hallway and stopped in her tracks and turned to the side of the wall to see a picture of her sister and her nephews together. “If only you could see how much they have grown, you would be so proud of them. Especially Tadashi, he’s always there looking out for Hiro.” Cass said with a sigh gazing at the portrait. Aunt Cass turned back looking forward and saw Tadashi and Hiro opening the door, she looked back at the portrait once more and smiled as she began to walk to the door.
Hiro and Tadashi made it outside “Alright little bro, you ready?” Tadashi asked as he gently put his brother down.
“Yes!” Hiro answered.
“Okay I’ll be right back” Tadashi said as he went to the back of the house.
Aunt Cass came outside and stood next to Hiro “I think your really going to like your gift Hiro” Aunt Cass said with a smile.
“Really? Is it something I’ve been wanting like a new video game or a bike?” Hiro asked curiously.
“Well you got one of them right, but I’ll let you see for yourself” Aunt Cass said with a smile.
Hiro smiled back and stood close to his aunt as they waited for Tadashi.
Tadashi opened the garage and saw the present Aunt Cass and he bought for Hiro covered with a tarp.
“There you are!” Tadashi said as he grabbed the bike and rolled it out with the cover still on.
After a few moments Hiro and Aunt Cass saw Tadashi coming with a weird shaped present that looked familiar to Hiro “Ta Da!” Tadashi said as he pulled the cover off revealing a white bike.
Hiro’s eyes widen with excitement as he see the bike in front if him “It’s a bike! Wow thank you Aunt Cass!” Hiro said giving his Aunt Cass a hug.
Aunt Cass smiled and returns the hug, “What do you think Hiro? Do you like it?” Aunt Cass asked gently pulling away.
“I love it!” Hiro answered excitedly.
“Come on, stand next to your brother and the bike so I can take a picture” Aunt Cass said as she ready her camera.
Hiro stood next to his brother and smiled looking at the camera, “Say Cheese you two!” Aunt Cass said as she put the camera close to her face.
“Cheese!” Hiro and Tadashi said in unison as Aunt Cass took the picture.
“Perfect!” Aunt Cass said.
Tadashi looked at Hiro “You ready to get your first bike lesson?” Tadashi asked as he ruffled his hair.
Hiro let out a small laugh and playfully moved his brothers hand and fixed his hair, “Yes I’m ready, what do we do first?” Hiro asked.
“Well the first thing you need is your helmet and knee pads, Safety first.”Tadashi said putting the helmet on Hiro’s head.
Hiro closed the chin strap and began to put on his knee pads, Tadashi helped put on the last knee pad and stretch out his hand to help Hiro stand.
“You look cool bud.” Tadashi said playfully elbow bumping Hiro’s arm.
“Heh Thanks!” Hiro said with a smile. Hiro looked back at the bike and began to feel nervous, his mind began to flood with thoughts “What if i can’t do it? What if i fall and get hurt? Will i get made made fun of if I’m the only kid that doesn’t know how to ride a bike?” Hiro said getting lost in his thoughts.
Tadashi saw Hiro dazed and quiet “Hey you okay? What’s wrong?” Tadashi asked putting a hand on his shoulder.
Hiro snapped out of his thoughts and looked at his brother “I’m not sure I can do this Tadashi?” Hiro answered nervously.
“Why would you think that?” Tadashi asked confused
“I- what if i fall and hurt myself? Or what if I’m not good at riding a bike? I’ll get laughed at in school.” Hiro said with a sigh.
Tadashi took a moment to process what his brother just told him, after a few moments Tadashi went in front of Hiro and kneeled down to his level “Hey I know you’ll do great.”  Tadashi said softly putting a hand on his little brother shoulder.
“Do you wanna know how i know?” Tadashi asked.
Hiro nodded.
“I know your going to do great because your a smart kid and no matter what problem or task comes your way, you don’t ever give up.” Tadashi said
Hiro gave a small smile at his brother, he was thankful to have a brother who loved and supported him. “You really think I can do this?” Hiro asked.
“I know you can.” Tadashi said with a soft smile.
Hiro sighed and gave his brother a hug, “Thanks Tadashi, i think I’m ready now.” Hiro said.
Tadashi retuned the hug, “Alright, will start off easy okay?” Tadashi said retuning the hug.
“Okay” Hiro said gently pulling away from the hug.
Tadashi gently picked Hiro up and put him on the bike, “Okay Hiro, all you have to do is grab the handles and put your feet on the pedals” Tadashi instructed.
Hiro followed his brothers instructions and grab the handles and put his feet on the pedals “Wait!” Hiro said hesitantly and put his foot back on the ground.
“How will the bike stay balanced if my feet aren’t on the ground?” Hiro asked.
“The gravity is what helps the bike stay stable and upright, once you grabbed the handles you have to hold it straight so the bike doesn’t tilt or lean to the side while your trying to get it moving.” Tadashi explained.
I’ll be okay Hiro, I’m going to hold onto the bike while you put you feet on the peddles so you don’t fall. Then I’m going to need you to start peddling slowly while i push you  to get wheels moving okay?” Tadashi asked with a tender tone.
“O-Okay” Hiro answered.
Tadashi held onto the bike as Hiro put both his feet on the pedals, “Alright Hiro, go ahead and start peddling slowly” Tadashi instructed.
Hiro did as his bother instructed and began to peddle as best as he could. It was hard at first, he had to put a lot of effort and strength to move the pedals. After a few seconds of peddling the bike began to move slowly “Haha! Tadashi look I’m doing it!”Hiro said excitedly as his brother held on to the bike while he peddled.
“Great Job Hiro! See told you there was nothing to be afraid of.” Tadashi said with a smile.
Tadashi helped Hiro practice riding his bike, they went around the block and rode around the cafe. After a few more tries Tadashi knew Hiro was ready to do it once his own. “Alright Hiro, I think your ready to do this ride on your own.” Tadashi said.
“You really think I’m ready? You think i can do this turn on my own?” Hiro asked.
“I know your ready, you can do this little bro!” Tadashi said encouragingly.
Hiro smiled and nodded “You’ll still be here though right? Like if i fall you’ll be here?” Hiro asked nervously.
“Hiro I’ll always be here for you, no matter what.” Tadashi said reassuringly.
“Thanks Tadashi, I think I’m ready” Hiro said with a smile.
Tadashi and Hiro did their fist bump and went back to the bike lessons. Hiro grabbed the handles and put his feet on the pedals as Tadashi held onto his brothers shoulders.
“Okay Hiro, I’m going to let you go now. You ready?” Tadashi asked
Hiro felt a little bit of fear rise up inside of him, “No, no, no, Tadashi, wait!” Hiro said fearfully as he felt Tadashi let go.
“Don’t be scared, little brother. Just pedal harder! You can do it!” Tadashi said cheering his brother on.
“Go, Hiro! Yeah! Woo-hoo!” Aunt Cass cheered as she recorded the whole thing.
“Yeah, yeah! You got it!” Tadashi said with a proud smile.
Hiro felt that fear he had disappear as he saw himself riding the bike all on his own. “Haha, yes! I’m doing it! I’m riding a bike!” Hiro laughed proudly as he went back to his brother giving him a hug.
“See, I knew you could do it! I’m so proud of you Bro!” Tadashi said proudly returning the hug.
“Aww group hug!” Aunt Cass said as she hugged both of her nephews tight.
Hiro and Tadashi laughed and smiled embracing their Aunt Cass hug.
                        ~8 years Later~
Hiro opened his eyes and sat up from his bed, He gazes at the bike that his brother had given him and hie eyes begin to glisten with tears as the memory floods his mind once more. Hiro walks over to the bike and puts a hand on one of the handles as the memory continues to play in his mind.
Baymax wakes up from his sleep mode when he hears Hiro getting up. He turns to see Hiro standing near his bike “Hiro is everything alright?” Baymax asked scanning him. My scan indicates high levels of sadness, what’s wrong?” Baymax asked walking over to him.
“Nothing Baymax, I was just.. remembering something that happened a long time ago” Hiro said wiping away a few tears from his eyes.
“Hiro, it is good to talk about your feelings, and if something is bothering you. Whether it be with a loved one or a close friend, it would help you feel better.” Baymax stated.
“Thanks Baymax, I guess i was just remembering the day Tadashi taught me to ride this bike.” Hiro said sniffing.
“I miss him Baymax, i wish he was still here with us.” Hiro sighed sadly.
“It is okay to morn and miss a loved one” Baymax said giving Hiro a hug.
Hiro felt tears fill his eyes as he returned the hug.
“Thanks Baymax” Hiro said with a sigh wiping his tears away.
“I know Tadashi would want me to keep going, I know he is still with me” Hiro said sniffing.
Hiro’s phone began to ring with a txt message, “Momakase just stole something from Krei Tech, meet us there.” ~Gogo
Hiro looked back up and looked at the bike once more, “Tadashi wanted to help people and that’s what were going to do Baymax.” Hiro said determinedly.
The End
I really hope you all enjoyed it? I know it’s probably not as best as my other stories but I really wanted to write a BH6 fic and I really wanted to see this scene in the show. Sorry If some of the txt or story is a bit rushed or random, it’s been sitting in my notes for like 5 months and I haven’t touched it till yesterday heh😅 Likes, Comments, Reblogs, and constructive criticism is most welcomed and encouraged✨ I love hearing feedback from you all, it makes my day better and makes us writers feel good that something we work hard on is appreciated by our readers✨💛
I also want to thank @whitecatindisguise for helping me with the idea of giving it a little of angst ending✨ I also want to thank @bighero6dreams for the idea of writing this fic because I love the brotherly relationship these two have and we definitely should have seen more of it✨ also big shoutout to @baymaksu because I’ve read their fics and it’s what inspired me to write my own BH6 fic☺️

Episode 12 theories
because it's the only thing keeping me sane
Ok but Sk8 fam hear me out:
Theres so much built up for this last episode. The final beef, Adam's house being searched and the shady politics he's involved with (idk if it's canonically shady or if it's normal politics but mans is shady ok), Reki's arc of loving skating and being a really good support....episode 12 could go a few ways (I have no idea how Tadashi's going to get involved if I'm being honest his involvement is so confusing but I REALLY don't want Adam to somehow get away with it by having Tadashi arrested instead of him pls no.)
1. It is Adam vs Langa, because that's what's gonna happen as of now, and Adam probably wins and gets all creepy, but Langa's an oblivious child and is like huh cool I lost hey Reki bae wanna go skate and Adam's pissy because he's not gotten Langa's attention, then probably gets arrested but no one cares because they're watching Renga beef and it's cool (they eventually would care because without Adam 'S' would fall apart, as much as I hate to say it)
Or 2. The arrest happens before and/or during the Adam vs Langa beef and it's stopped, obviously. Then 'S' will basically go into a chaos of sorts? Surely? Because 'ADAM', the leader of 'S', the 'matador of love' just got...arrested. The police will probably find a way to shut 'S' down for good. HERES THE GOOD BIT- wouldn't it be lovely if Joe and Cherry, and Shadow probably as well, set up their own 'S', legally, with some rules (namely,,,no attempted murder 🤷‍♀️). Also I really want to see Reki and Langa skate a beef together I think that would be great :) ALSO MANIFESTING REKI APOLOGISING TO MIYA bc bubba deserves a proper apology from his big bro (if it doesn't happen in the episode then hc that it just happend off screen ✌️)

Kageyama, Tanaka, and Daichi When Their Younger Sister is Dating Someone from the Volleyball Team
Anonymous said:
Hello can you please write hcs for how Kageyama, Tanaka, and Daichi would react to finding out that their younger sister is dating someone from the volleyball team ? I feel like they’d have the most reaction from the team lol
they definitely would have a big reaction, i agree with you!!! this was really funny to think about aha. lots of protective big bro headcanons ahead! i hope you like them because i spent a bit too much time on them and they almost morphed into actual scenarios lmao so please let me know what you think! ♡
Tumblr media
Kageyama Tobio
This idiot is so focused on himself and volleyball that he would barely even think to worry about what was going on in your life.
Sure, you guys shared snippets of your day as you tossed a volleyball back and forth in your backyard during the evenings, but most of the time he was so tired from afternoon practice that he just wanted to eat dinner and crash (you had to shake him awake and drag him out of bed several times to remind him to do his homework because you were just that nice to him ♡ he didn’t seem to appreciate it though).
You didn’t always need verbal communication though because the comfortable silences of your walks home and the way you always slipped each other snacks whenever one of you was up late (you usually studying for a test the next day while he was just staying up late for the novelty of it all—laying down in bed and tossing a volleyball above his head, watching volleyball videos, staring out the window dramatically thinking about volleyball… you get the idea).
For all you knew about each other and your routines, Tobio seemed unable to even think about change in a context that included you—you were his little sister and it would always stay that way, and he was caught up in his own life and the changes he had to go through to grow. You were meant to be a constant.
That’s probably why he was the last person to expect you getting in a relationship—and with someone from his team no less.
Popping your head into the gym one day—holding a bag of meat buns you had bought for him and he had forgotten on the counter at home—turned into a regular routine once his teammates seemed to take a liking to you.
They bombarded you with teasing questions about the “King” and his personal life, and you were asked how it felt to be “royalty” (“Nice one, Tsukki,” Yamaguchi snickered at some point in response to that).
You stole glances out of the corner of your eye at Tobio aggressively chugging water on the sidelines and hiding his flustered face, finding him looking back at you intently. You gave him a knowing smile and it was as though another silent pact was formed.
You made small jabs at your brother as you joked around with the teammates, but you always steered the conversation away from topics you just knew he would throw a volleyball at your head later for answering.
Lighthearted conversations were always expected when you paid short visits to the gym, and the overexcited members always immediately abandoned their drills to talk to you, earning them quite the earful from Coach Ukai, although that never seemed to stop them.
But then your visits started getting longer and longer until suddenly you were staying for the entire afternoon practice sessions whenever you had time and even helping with manager duties on the side. You had always gone to your brother’s games (he forced you to come, even if you protested that you had already made plans with your friends that day) so you weren’t all that interested in what he was up to because you had dealt enough with his self-obsessed phase in middle school.
However, you were interested in Tobio’s latest move—just not the Tobio part. The infamous quick was now all yours to see up close and while the genius setting abilities of your brother came at no surprise to you, you couldn’t help but go slack jawed every time you saw the energetic orange-haired boy Tobio always bickered with leaping into the air.
(Actually, you were still in awe of your brother, but you were reluctant to admit it and inflate his ego so you stayed quiet. Also, you wanted to take the time to admire other volleyball players too, not the same one you had been cheering for for years. Tobio seemed to understand your emotions without you needing to explain them though and didn’t take them to heart—you two just knew things like that about one another.)
The game moved fast, as volleyball had the tendency to do, but even as you watched the practice matches and drills, your eyes locked onto the short player each and every time he sprung into the air, hair flying and arm drawn back for a powerful spike.
Hinata Shouyou—his name was about all the useful information you got out of Tobio when you asked him later during the walk home before he went back to complaining about how Hinata can’t do this and Hinata can’t do that. You rolled your eyes and tuned him out—just sibling things, you know.
Thank God he had told you that at least because you had embarrassingly forgotten a majority of the team’s names after they hurriedly introduced themselves when they first met you and then never made an effort to remind you of their names afterwards.
Hinata wasn’t the only one you had your eyes on though.
Tsukishima Kei—tall and blonde with a feisty attitude that was strangely alluring, mainly because he managed to get under Tobio’s skin almost better than you ever could. His blocks were clearly calculated, and his demeanor was cool and effortless, or snarky when he wanted it to be. His height definitely helped his cause (both in volleyball and in you noticing him).
The first year Tobio seemed to talk to the least was Yamaguchi Tadashi, but only because he wasn’t a regular in the volleyball rotation and Tobio tended to have a one track mind that included not paying attention to those he didn’t need to. You saw the boy practicing his floating serves though and you were instantly hooked. The way the ball effortlessly fluttered to the ground once he served it over the net? Way cooler than whatever Tobio was doing (once again, an exaggeration, but you didn’t want to fawn over your older brother that already knew he was a genius). You couldn’t believe you had been missing out on seeing all this action just because Yamaguchi wasn’t a regular.
Since Tobio was constantly stirring up trouble with the others in his grade, you ended up getting to know the other three pretty well at first, but soon you become well acquainted with the other players and the upperclassmen.
The older members of the club moved with a certain grace and sureness that came from pure experience with the sport for so long, and you were drawn to the way they built up a solid foundation for the underclassmen, filling the holes where Tobio and the others stumbled and made mistakes.
The entire team was amazing to you. It was breathtaking to watch them play now that you weren’t bound to sitting in the stands at some tournament, and you found your eyes darting about constantly throughout the game.
Everyone there was definitely amazing, each in their own special way. This is what Tobio had been keeping you from when he said not to come to his practices because he thought you’d just get in the way?
You made sure to let Tobio know how lame you thought he was afterwards and he gave you a punch in your arm in reply as he sipped from a milk box on your walk home, scowling before turning back contently to focus on his drink.
You admiration of the Karasuno boys wasn’t one-sided at all though, and they thought you were an absolute joy to be around, whether it be your helpful nature when it came to offering your assistance to Kiyoko (Tanaka and Nishinoya were especially a fan of that one), your sweetness in complementing them whenever they perfected a technique, or the way you could easily joke around with them as though you had known them from the start. Even Tsukishima had to admit you weren’t that bad.
If you were dating Hinata, Tobio would most likely find out when Hinata kept messing up his quicks whenever you were watching—wanting to impress you but also getting too overexcited and losing focus. Cue the arguing between them until Tsukishima made a snide comment about Hinata wanting to impress his girlfriend—you.
“What the hell? No??? Why would you even say that about my sister, you idiot?” Now Tobio was all up in Tsukishima’s face, eyebrows furrowed in anger. “She would never date a dumbass like him, right?” At that he turned to you, ready for your instant confirmation—but then you hesitated and he started to get worried. “Right?” he asked again, this time almost pleadingly.
Tsukishima snickered at your brother’s crestfallen expression when you shook your head, not knowing how else to answer, and Tobio knew it was all over. He snatched Hinata up by the collar of his shirt faster than lightning and shook him in the air, yelling at him because what the fuck.
Hinata managed to wiggle out of Tobio’s grasp and shoved him back, saying that you actually liked him and it’s not like he blackmailed you or anything so what’s the big deal.
The rest of the team had to break up the fight before it got out of hand and the two of them had to be separated for a while to cool down. During all of this, Tsukishima was standing next to you, watching with an amused expression while you were simply in shock because you had no idea what had just happened.
Tobio bombarded you with a lot of questions on the walk home about why Hinata of all people and you had to explain to him that you don’t get to chose who you love because if you did you wouldn’t choose someone you knew would deliberately piss him off (he thought that was pretty stupid because just like he chose to play volleyball, you could choose not to date Hinata—sigh, he really doesn’t understand these things).
Tobio and Hinata had a lot of competitions after that to settle it once and for all who you liked better out of both of them.
(“She chose to date me, dummy!” Hinata would shout.)
(“I’m literally her brother! I’ve known her longer!” came Tobio’s reply, slightly out of breath because their latest competition involved seeing who could run the farthest and the fastest—as if that was an accurate representation of how much you liked someone.)
Tobio would keep a careful eye on Hinata and you, and there would definitely be lots of bickering between the two, although that was normal.
He would mellow out at some point and become less intense about trying to get rid of Hinata and break you two up, but if you two ever showed PDA in front of him Tobio would make sure to grumble and huff as he watched it happened, or turn away and cross his arms—if you ignored him, he would just keep doing it louder until you noticed and were forced to stop because talk about mood ruiner.
When Tobio is just completely over it and is just like ‘whatever, I guess this is happening now,’ he’ll actually tell Hinata that he… kind of trusts him with you, and Hinata would be all shiny eyed and sparkly at the complement and reassure him that he’ll do his best to always keep you happy.
There may even be a time where you’re feeling sad, perhaps after a fight, and Hinata hesitates—wondering if he should run after you, if he should bother pursuing you, if you even really want to see him again—and Tobio would be there, arms crossed and raising one eyebrow as he looks down at him.
“What are you waiting for? Go after her, stupid.”
Hinata, lost expression being replaced with one of surprise, would shift to peer up at him. “Wha- You really mean it?”
Tobio would turn away, forcing the grumpiest expression on his face possible. “Well, yeah… you’re her boyfriend. That’s your job. She wouldn’t listen to me anyway.”
With Hinata’s spirit reinvigorated, he was quick to run off after your retreating figure, shouting back at Tobio that he won’t let him down. Your brother couldn’t help but crack a smile at that.
For the love of God, do not date Tsukishima if you don’t want Tobio to disown you.
Tsukishima wouldn’t really care much about being public with your relationship—to him, who knows knows, and who doesn’t just doesn’t, simple as that. And it wasn’t like you were itching to tell your brother you were basically dating his arch nemesis (okay, that’s dramatic, but it felt like your life had become some dramatic secret—a soap opera brought to life —and you were living a double life by keeping this a secret from your brother), so Tobio basically knew nothing for quite a while. Tsukishima also didn’t show too much PDA in general so your brother remained oblivious.
That is until Tobio and Tsukishima got into another argument and Tsukishima was getting so annoyed that he just let it slip, using it as leverage to get a leg up on Tobio.
Tobio immediately clammed up and went stone-faced, mainly just at the mere thought of that, not because he was accepting it as his reality. But then he watched Tsukishima’s smirk grow and he broke out of his trance, definitely being like, “What the fuck??? She’s not dating you and I will beat you up for saying that you fucking idiot.”
Tsukishima found it sooo funny how Tobio was fuming and gave you a smug look from the sidelines. Oh boy, Tobio did not like that and was like, “Hey??? I’m talking to you, pay attention to me and don’t look at her!!! I bet she hates you!!!”
Even Hinata wanted to get in on the action, and of course Yamaguchi didn’t want his best friend to get ganged up on so he stepped in and started listing off all off Tsukishima’s good qualities that were definitely likable enough to date him.
It was getting embarrassing just how much Tsukishima had made Tobio lose his cool, so you had to step in and diffuse the situation, although no one could step away from the argument until they knew the truth so, begrudgingly, you told them that yes, you were dating Tsukishima. That didn’t really help much though because Tobio was still losing it and arguing with Yamaguchi because Tsukishima didn’t feel the need to defend himself and now Hinata was asking you if Tsukishima had blackmailed you into saying that.
To pour gas on the already flaming and wildly out of control fire, Tsukishima went up to you while the others were distracted and gave you a kiss on the forehead right in front of everyone—absolutely no shame. Oh my god, it was a whole mess and a half and everything was falling apart.
You have no idea how, but everyone calmed down at some point, although there was a lot of tension as practice continued. Things were fairly back to normal the next day once everyone had time to sleep on the issue and come to terms with it on their own.
Tsukishima loves throwing it in Tobio’s face and it’s horrible, yes, but you have to admit it’s sort of funny at times and you still love your boyfriend regardless.
Tobio goes back to hating Tsukishima even more for a while (and they had been making some progress with their relationship too so talk about a major step back), but after a while of silently fuming in his room every day for almost two weeks, he’s mostly normal again. Definitely still eyes Tsukishima suspiciously whenever he so much as looks in your direction though and reminds you that you were not supposed to date until you were like fifty (you had never agreed to or even heard of that rule before for that matter so that was a nice surprise).
Generally expect Tobio to give you guys a hard time for way too long before he sees some instance of Tsukishima actually being very caring and helping you out of an emotional rut whenever Tobio is unavailable to do so, and then his opinion of your boyfriend shifts into a somewhat favorable light. Don’t expect too much from him though.
And, well, if you were with Yamaguchi? That’s a little too close to Tsukishima for Tobio’s liking, but at least it’s slightly better.
There’s literally no way Tobio would really find out unless one of you explicitly told him. Yamaguchi might confide in Tsukishima about his relationship and there might be a chance Tsukishima uses it against Tobio in an argument, but generally he would probably decide that it’s not his place to say anything.
Tobio already doesn’t interact with Yamaguchi all that much anyway and their relationship is mostly fine (minus the times he joins Tsukishima in being a major pain in Tobio’s ass), so there’s no chance of your boyfriend blurting it out on his own in the heat of the moment either. He’s also too shy for PDA most of the time, so everything is very much hidden.
It actually starts to get ridiculous when you’ve been dating for months though and Tobio still hasn’t realized. You decide that it’s important for your brother and your boyfriend to be on better terms with each other if this relationship was going to last—which you most certainly hoped it would—so you were forced to take matters into your own hands.
Sitting Tobio down at the kitchen table, all serious with your hands neatly folded in front you, you would break the news. Tobio’s fidgeting and complaining about how this was stupid and why couldn’t you just talk to him in his room, ugh, would all fall away instantly while he processes the news.
“…Really?”
“Yeah.”
Tobio would still argue with Tsukishima whenever he was with both you and Yamaguchi, telling the blond to “back the fuck off, you overgrown bean sprout,” but he would also look to the root of the problem and take a special interest in harassing your timid boyfriend.
Although Tobio could be intimidating at times, Yamaguchi had seen it all before, so he does his best not to be freaked out when Tobio starts directing threatening glares at him instead of at Hinata or Tsukishima like normal.
After seeing that Yamaguchi is the pure definition of harmless though, Tobio would try not to keep a cold exterior, since his protectiveness didn’t seem to be doing much anyway because there was nothing to fix when it came to worrying about Yamaguchi hurting you, and would slowly try to get closer to your boyfriend. Forcing out compliments when it came to his serves, giving him little tips along the way, and making sure to greet him and bid him farewell every practice.
It was awkward at first because he was clearly trying to force the friendship for your sake, but when you told him to just be himself because he was freaking Yamaguchi out, that seemed to do the trick and it was now a mixture between his earlier aloof behavior and his newer friendly one. A happy medium.
Yamaguchi knew that he didn’t need shining compliments from Tobio every second of the day to know that he had accepted him as your boyfriend and he was fine with that—that was just how Tobio was—plus Yamaguchi was really here for you, not your brother, so it didn’t matter much anyway.
Things were pretty mild between them, although Tobio would occasionally let Yamaguchi know that he… appreciated (yes, he had to choke it out) what he was doing for you and all that jazz.
Dating one of the upperclassmen would be a much less chaotic affair, and you would probably go about things the “mature” way and tell Tobio about your relationship near the start, rather than waiting a long time like the Yamaguchi situation, or having someone else tell him like the Hinata and Tsukishima situations. The upperclassmen are also generally more mature than those in Tobio’s grade—even Tanaka and Nishinoya would have a bit of sanity in this situation—so they would say it’s up to you if and when you want to let your brother know.
When you tell him, Tobio will kind of blink at you for a bit, just absorbing that fact because you looked dead serious.
“Don’t think you can just boss me around during practice now.”
“I do that anyway, so shut up.”
He wouldn’t know what to say to your boyfriend—yeah, he wants to be all like don’t mess with my sister, but also they’re older than him and he’s supposed to be respectful or he’ll be forced to run extra laps as punishment while Hinata laughs at him from the sidelines—so the first few practices after you tell him just end up with him studying your boyfriend very intensely from across the gym while tightly clutching a volleyball. It’s very unnerving and your boyfriend begs you to talk some sense into Tobio because he is ruining their concentration so bad and Coach Ukai is definitely considering if he should have them do extra drills to make up for it and they do not want that.
In order to save your boyfriend from such a fate, you encourage both him and Tobio to talk it over. It consists of your boyfriend doing the typical upperclassmen thing of being very reassuring while at the same time being very overbearing with their intense presence and Tobio is sweating because this is your boyfriend, don’t say anything weird or you’ll hate him forever, just keep cool.
He’s not usually one to be that worried about this sort of thing, but no matter which upperclassmen it is and no matter what kind of relationship he had with them before, he’s going to be very stoic and try to come to terms with the fact that you’re actually dating them.
While your boyfriend is all like “Don’t worry! I’ll take care of her!” and “Sorry, I know this is a little weird, but I really do like her!,” Tobio’s like “mhm,” “yeah,” “okay” so to the untrained eye he seems very nonchalant about the whole thing, but internally his mind is working a mile a minute. He probably starts sweating a little and your boyfriend is like, “Uh, you okay?” and he’s just like “mhm, yeah,” while sweat starts dripping down his forehead and he feels like he’s going to go into cardiac arrest.
Rather than the conversation between the two consisting of Tobio asserting his dominance as your brother and threatening your boyfriend, it’s just him being forced to accept his fate while your boyfriend says his piece and is like “Wow, I’m so glad you’re okay with it!” at the end of it all.
You try to minimize PDA because your brother looks like he’s going to blow a fuse anytime he witnesses it and always turns away very embarrassed, blushing furiously. Come on, you can’t really blame him. Like when did his little sister grow up so fast? Uh, a long time ago, you moron, stop being so focused on yourself.
He makes an extra effort to ask more about your life now and wants to know everything, so now your usual routine silences or shallow talks have turned into midnight discussions either in one of your bedrooms, lightly tossing volleyball back and forth, or in the kitchen as you two sit at the table and binge eat snacks.
That actually helps him a lot with coming to terms that yes, you have your own life and it’s just as important as his volleyball one and that he should really make an effort to keep up with you. He feels really bad that it took him so long to realize that you were even dating someone and after getting your perspective on the matter, he comes to accept it, trusting them to do a good job because he’s seen what they can do on the court and for the team and has known them firsthand for quite a while.
Dating anyone on the team would have its fair share of ups and down and bumps in the road, but it’ll also be a great wake up call for your sometimes too-dense-for-words brother and actually end up strengthening your relationship in the long run, especially because now he knows you have someone reliable to lean on whenever he falls short.

Tanaka Ryuunosuke
Oh man, your entire life was just filled with him constantly butting into your personal life, playing the big scary guy at anyone who looked at you funny and always asking if there were any so called “punks” you wanted him to beat up (the answer was always a firm “Ryuu, no” because you didn’t want him to get in trouble, but you always looked at him with a sparkle of admiration in your eye at his bravery).
Just like with Saeko, he’d get embarrassed when you showed him affection sometimes, or would kick you out of his room if he had his friends over (your teasing revealed one too many embarrassing personal secrets of his that his friends made fun of him for ages for).
He still made his love clear through his protectiveness though and he wasn’t any stranger to giving you a good-natured pat on the head in public. Basically, as long as it didn’t ruin his tough guy appearance (he said that reputation was important and that he had to keep it up so that no one would even think about messing with you in the slightest), he would be very clear of his pride in your achievements and just how much you meant to him. This meant it was mainly at home or in private that he would flip the switch and give you hugs, or get started with comments of “look how much my pupil is growing” (you punched his arm when he said things like that, but you were always grinning when you did so).
(His overly affectionate moments were mainly to get back at you for teasing him in front of his friends and he gave you the same treatment, but he also really did mean it.)
He taught you how to be “tough” (hence the “pupil” nickname sometimes and the feeling he had of taking you under his wing) and you eagerly studied him with shining admiration because he was your cool older brother after all.
You were always in the know about each others lives and while he ranted to you about volleyball and school, you let him know about how you totally put some kid in their place today in class like he taught you to or if you needed his advice for things (as much as you liked to make fun of each other, you still looked up to him and his “worldly” experience that simply came from being older, plus he was very attentive when it came to solving problems in your life and giving you his input).
Finally the day came that you two were reunited and going to the same school once again when you started your first year at Karasuno. Ryuu gave you a pep talk before you went inside about what to expect of high schoolers and reminded you that the same rules still applied and that if you needed him to take anyone on for you he was just one floor away (he cracked his knuckles for good measure at that)—he reassured you that you were never too old to rely on your big bro.
Despite your protests, he decided to walk you to class on the first day, saying it was on his way to his own class anyway. He spent the walk bragging about how he was a second year now and how it was so nostalgic to walk in the first year halls now and how he remembered this and that in the hallways (he pointed to specific spots as he recalled the memories of sitting on the floor for lunch with his friends, or telling you something hilarious he spotted from the windows one day), and while you rolled your eyes and reminded him that he had been a first year just a few months ago (he shushed you when you said that), you listened with rapt interest, wondering what your own high school career would end up looking like. He also gave pointed glares to several students you passed by in the hallways, especially the guys, and made sure to loudly repeat how you must be so glad to have a second year who can fight as your older and protective brother, relishing in the way some of the first years gulped in fear.
It wasn’t long until you two reached your classroom, and you lingered just outside the doorway with him, ready to say your final goodbyes as you got ready to embark on your first day. However, when you turned to him, you realized he was looking at you strangely, his eyes sparkling with pride, but it also seemed like he was trying to hide his face from you.
“Ryuu? Are you… are you crying?” You had to try extra hard to keep yourself from bursting out laughing.
He dramatically turned his head away. “Of course not! Anyway I’ve, uh, got to go, so bye now! Have fun and trust no one!” And then he was off back down the hallways you had come from, ready to ascend the stairs and begin his own new school year.
He brought you to volleyball practice with him as soon as it began for the year, waiting for you outside of your classroom so he could lead you there and you wouldn’t get lost trying to find the gym. He wanted you to know where he was going to be spending a lot of his time outside of school in case you ever needed to find him, so he figured it would be best to let you know from the start, especially since they wouldn’t be doing much on the first day anyway.
“Hey guys!” he greeted the third years as he walked in, “I brought my sister with me, hope you don’t mind.” You followed after him somewhat timidly, not sure what the captain and vice captain he had told you so much about would be like.
Daichi and Sugawara were more than welcoming though and reassured both of you that it was fine. They asked about your interests and how your first year of high school was going so far. The duo was kind and funny, and you felt instantly at ease joining in with their antics.
You already knew the other second years from when Ryuu would have them over, so it was basically smooth sailing from then on in terms of you being friendly with everyone on the team.
That is, until the first years showed up and you had to watch the drama between them unfold—everything from Kageyama and Hinata’s initial disagreements once they realized they were on the same team, the entire storm that came with the duo of Tsukkishima and Yamaguchi, and, last but most certainly not least, the match between all of them.
Ryuu kept you updated about all of it, even letting you know of his plan of allowing Kagyeama and Hinata to use the gym before morning practice (you thought he was the coolest for taking a risk behind Daichi’s back to help the first years out), and you were so caught up in wondering how it would all turn out that he invited you to the match that Saturday.
Of course you were cheering for your brother once he was dragged in to be a part of the match and let him know afterwards how cool it was. You had been to his volleyball games before, but it was entirely different seeing them up close with everyone practicing.
You slowly began to spend more time with the boys’ volleyball team, always one to cheer on your brother and admire his skills, and once you got acquainted with Kiyoko, you began to help her out with simple manager duties in exchange—Ryuu always tried to use you as a gateway to talk to Kiyoko and having him be jealous of your friendship with her gave you a sense of triumph because you finally had something to hold over him.
You even became fast friends with Yachi once she joined the Karasuno crew due to you both being in the same grade and she became one of your favorite people to talk to whenever the day was particularly slow. You showed her the ropes of being a manager and gave her your own personal anecdotes about what it was like to be new to the team so she didn’t feel so nervous about the whole thing knowing that someone else was once in the same boat as her.
At last you were able to socialize properly with the first years now that their dispute had been settled and, similar to your experience with the rest of the team, you instantly took a liking to them, even if some of them were snarky or could be blunt sometimes (Kageyama and Tsukishima). You grew especially close to them since you were all in the same grade, although the upperclassmen still looked over you and you had a good relationship with all of them as well.
Ryuu would be able to tell right away if something was off with you once you started acting a little strange. He would be concerned and probably ask you what was wrong when you two were home and just hanging out on the couch, and since you’re so used to confiding everything in him, you end up blurting out that you were dating one of his teammates, immediately covering your mouth after and staring at him with wide eyes, unsure of what he would say.
All of the first years would need to watch their backs once he found out if it was one of them that you were dating.
“Seriously? Him?” he would ask in disbelief when you told him and shake his head. Then he would get all sentimental again and lean back, hands behind his head. “Ah, young love,” he would muse.
“Ryuu, shut up, you’re not that much older than me!”
Ryuu would constantly be lurking nearby anytime you were with your boyfriend, and during practices he would take a special interest in teasing them. Definitely glared at them a lot, gave them lots of scary faces, and threatened them whenever he had a chance during the beginning and found it hilarious if they ever seemed scared or uncomfortable. He kept that up until you told him to knock it off or else you would stop talking to him for a whole week (he can’t go that long without his little sister so he was basically forced to comply).
Tsukishima wouldn’t be all that phased by his threats anyway though so Ryuu would continue trying to intimidate him no matter what you said. (“What? Why do I need to stop? That kid needs someone to put him in his place!”)
Tsukishima wouldn’t really care at all about trying to appeal to Ryuu, but the any of the other first years would probably try to show that they were doing their best to be a good boyfriend so could he please stop looking like he wanted to murder them, please they are begging you.
Depending on the first year you chose, it may take him different lengths of time to warm up to the idea, but once he did he’s always teasing you two and “Aw, Noya, look at the tiny first years in love. If only that was us and Kiyoko. Minus the tiny part. And the first years part.”
If you choose one of the second years, when you told him he would groan and cover his ears, screwing his eyes shut because he did not want to know that.
“This is a joke, right? I can’t believe you’re dating one of my friends! Gross! I’m never going to be able to look at you two the same again.”
Nishinoya is his best friend, so once he got over the initial weirdness of it all, you three went back to being the most chaotic trio of the team. Tanaka even forgave Noya for betraying Kiyoko since he was dating you after all. Those two were basically your protection squad before, but it was ramped up to the max now that Noya was actually dating you. Anyone come near you? They were about to enter a world of pain with two feral volleyball players guarding you at all times. Lots of hanging out between the three of you, and Ryuu would get all pouty when you told him that no, he can’t come on your date tonight (lo behold, unbeknownst to you, Noya had also invited Ryuu over because “bro code” so you couldn’t escape him anyway).
Ryuu had a lot of respect for Ennoshita, so if you were dating him he would trust him to take good care of you, although since Ennoshita always kept him and Nishinoya in line, you basically had that same power now and he was not happy about you bossing him around.
Overall, Ryuu would have a hard time accepting the fact that his friends were dating you because how in the world did this even happen (the first few weeks would have him cringing and turning away if he ever saw any PDA because please spare his eyes), but ultimately he knew he wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat you better than the guys he already knew so well, so he would try his best to be supportive and make sure you knew to come to him if you needed anything as always.
Decide to date a third year and Ryuu is going to stare at you in silence for a very long time once he hears that. He’s just sitting there blinking, waiting for you to burst out laughing at the joke, but when you ask him if he’s okay, he realizes you were most definitely not joking and now he’s having an existential crisis.
“How can my precious baby sister be dating someone older than me? How am I supposed to keep that guy in line if I’m supposed to be respectful to him?” He’s freaking out because suddenly you and your entire life in his mind could no longer be considered to only consist of people younger than him that he could easily intimidate and be seen as your cool older brother by—no, you had entered uncharted territory and this was so weird.
He couldn’t do much in terms of threatening the third years, but once you let your boyfriend know that you had told your brother about your relationship, they would go talk to him themselves after seeing how tense he was acting during practice. They’d let him know they intended to take good care of you and everything like that, and Ryuu knew that he trusted their word.
Whether it was Daichi, Sugawara, or Asahi, Ryuu told them he was fine with it, but that if they ever did hurt you, he doesn’t care if they were older than him, he will come after them. He also definitely keeps a watch on you two when he can because of course he’s worried about his younger sister dating someone older than both of them.
Just like with the second years though, he knows the third years are responsible and trustworthy, and he feels pretty safe leaving you alone with them.
Eventually, no matter who it is you’re dating on the team, Ryuu will come to accept it because he wants you to be happy, but he’s constantly ready to jump to your defense if your boyfriend ever does anything wrong because he’ll always be your caring, protective older brother.

Sawamura Daichi
Daichi was the responsible older brother every parent dreams of having (albeit a bit overdramatic at times).
Once you started at Karasuno, you were stuck to his side constantly—although it wasn’t through your own choice, no. Your dear older brother was convinced he needed to keep a close watch on you at all times and that if he wasn’t there something bad would happen and he would be the one who had to deal with the blame from your parents.
He gave you your freedom, especially because he was busy with his own life, but he was always waiting right outside the school to walk you home, and if he saw you at lunch you better believe he’s going to embarrass you in front of your friends and say “hi.” (Your friends would then proceed to ask about the “hottie upperclassman” that had just talked to you, and you would gag and stick your tongue out, letting them know that they did not want to date your brother. Listen, living with him meant that you had to see a side of him that wasn’t the perfect boyfriend facade your friends seemed to see in him. You knew the truth.)
When the time came that most people were signing up for clubs they were considering and attending club interest meetings, he invited you to stop by the gym after you were done looking around after school. This was mostly because you two could easily meet up there and then head home right after, but he also thought it would be fun for you to see what antics his team got up to, even if you couldn’t join.
You poked your head into the gym and glanced around, instantly spotting your brother on the far end of the room. “Yo, Daichi! I’m here!” you called out in a sing-songy voice, making your way across the gym. Your strides were confident, even as the rest of the team turned to stare at you, because it was your cool brother that was the captain after all and that automatically made you the star of the party, or something like that.
He would be glad to see you and introduce you to the rest of the team right away, mainly to get them to quit staring and actually get back to practicing. That didn’t help much though because you were bombarded with questions and practice was entirely derailed by your arrival.
You already knew Sugawara and Asahi from when Daichi would invite them over and you even hung out with them a few times when Daichi would host a movie night for them at your house and you would join them in the living room.
Depending on if you were a first year or second year, you might even be acquainted with the underclassmen as well if they were in your class, especially once they learned that you were related to Daichi and would go to you whenever they needed to pass on messages to him, such as if they couldn’t make it to practice later that day or requests for him to pick up supplies for them if they needed it or questions about their training. Yeah, they could easily go to him most of the time, but it was a lot more fun going through you in an unintentional game of “telephone.”
Even after you decided on the club you wanted to join, you still kept coming to the practices. Your club usually finished earlier than the volleyball team did, especially because Daichi usually kept them pretty late, so for the end of practice you would sit quietly in the corner, finishing up some homework. You could technically go home on your own if you wanted to, but the sounds of the team practicing were comforting background noise to your work, even when you had your headphones in, and Daichi preferred to walk you home anyway and make sure you were safe and nothing happened. It just sort of worked out that way and since no one had a real problem with it, everyone simply went with it.
At one point, Kiyoko asked for your help with refilling the boys’ water bottles and you agreed, setting aside the notebook you had been scribbling in as you reviewed your notes from the school day. After that, you asked her occasionally if she ever need help, or would step in on your own if you saw she or Yachi was struggling since they usually didn’t want to bother you, and soon it became a regular routine with you helping out during the practices most of the time and doing your homework on the side if you had a chance.
You got to know the team members much better now that you were actually participating, rather than tuning them out and focusing on your work, and their dynamics were intriguing and hilarious, especially how they always seemed to drive your brother up a wall while simultaneously impressing him constantly. The duality of it all kept drawing you back for more.
Now Daichi wasn’t the only one who would say “hi” to you at lunch. Some of the other boys would greet you if they saw you—if Yamaguchi dragged Tsukishima over to you when he went to say “hello,” the blonde might give you a slight head nod of acknowledgement on a good day—and the comments from your friends on the rapidly increasing number of boys that would come up to you just seemed to multiply. Expect it wasn’t just Daichi—your nice but occasionally stupid older brother—they were talking about, it was actual boys you talked to.
When you had first started attending the volleyball club practices, you had regarded everyone there as family, since that what they always said they were and that was the dynamic they had with Daichi, so you thought you automatically fell into that category, but the offhanded comments from your friends about “Ooo, what did you think about that one?” and “Yeah, he was nice, but that one from yesterday was cuter,” had you reconsidering your thoughts about a certain few of your brother’s teammates.
You would probably feel guilty keeping your relationship a secret from your brother and would decide to break the news to him somewhere near the start of when you began dating one of his teammates, choosing to do it as you two walked home one night, the air chilly and refreshing after being in that stuffy gym all afternoon. It felt right to do it then because you didn’t want to make it a big deal, rather fitting it into your daily routine so that hopefully he wouldn’t take the news as hard.
You two were in the middle of a discussion about practice that day when you bite your lip and steel yourself to tell him, shoving your hands in your pocket and staring down at the ground as you walked. “Um… Daichi… there’s actually something I wanted to tell you…”
He would immediately stop walking and turn to face you, the tone of your voice making him concerned—so much for not making it a big deal. “(Y/N), you’re not getting into any sort of trouble, are you?”
That made your eyes go wide, quick to correct him. “What?! No, no! You’ve got it all wrong! It’s just that…” And with a deep breath you would break the news to him, holding your breath right after as you watched him to see what he would do.
“That’s all? Oh, thank God, I thought you were about to tell me you joined a gang or something,” he’d chuckle, and you would hesitantly join in with your own awkward laugh, a little scared at how well he was taking this.
The fact that you had almost given him a heart attack and he was so glad that the truth wasn’t the worst case scenario he had come up with would initially have him not reacting that much to the actual implications of you dating someone, just relieved that it was something normal.
But then he would dwell on it some more as you two continued walking, your chest much lighter now that you had gotten that secret off of it. You weren’t off the hook just yet though, unbeknownst to you.
He wouldn’t say all of his thoughts out loud just yet, although he would muse, “I guess I should have seen that coming. You have been spending a lot of time with him lately,” as he reflected on the past few weeks.
“Wh-what?” you would choke out, stumbling over your steps and then rushing to catch up with him. And here you thought we were being slick the whole time. Brother knows best as they say (or something like that).
Literally start dating any of the underclassmen and Daichi is going to have to pull them aside to have a little “chat” as soon as he finds out.
When they emerge, your boyfriend looks absolutely terrified (even Tsukishima would be a little shaken), but Daichi is grinning widely and gives them a hearty clap on the back, thanking them for their time.
“N-no problem,” is what they would probably stammer out before slinking away to continue practicing.
You don’t even bother asking Daichi what he told them because you already know he’s not going to tell you, or just give you a watered down version, but you do give him your own lecture about how he should be nicer to your boyfriend and quit giving them a hard time. Daichi ends up being the one coming out of that talk a little shaken so it seems as though justice has been served for your boyfriend.
Daichi tried to make an effort to be nicer after that, but you can feel him watching you guys like a hawk across the gym whenever you’re so much as talking with one another. As soon as you turn to glare at him though, he looks away, going back to whatever he was doing, whether it be sipping from his water bottle, having a conversation with someone, or cleaning up a section of the gym, even whistling a little tune as though he hadn’t been giving the death stare in your general direction just five seconds ago.
If he really wants to know what you two are up to, he’ll pretend he’s doing something, such as picking up a ball, and inch closely to eavesdrop on your conversation. Leaning in for a short kiss? Oops, he accidentally bumped into you two very hard, he’s so sorry about that, and oh, would you look at the time, shouldn’t they get back to practice now, that break seems like it was long enough—tight-lipped smile and all to accompany it.
If your boyfriend comes to pick you up at your house to go out on a date, Daichi is there. Whether he opens the door himself, or is looming behind you as he bids you two farewell and no, he’s not trying to communicate threats using his eyes, what are you talking about?
Inviting your boyfriend over for dinner with your family? Daichi is there of course. Movie night? I’m sure you wouldn’t mind if he joined, right? Studying in your room? Hmm, maybe you should leave your door open. What? It’s just to let some fresh air in, that’s all.
Of course you want to do that whole romantic walking home together thing, so you tell your boyfriend to hurry up and change early after practice so you two can start walking before Daichi even finishes.
But somehow, without fail, no matter what you do, he’d always be there right behind you two, walking a few steps away.
You turn around to shoot him a glare. “Daichi, I swear-”
“What? I’m just walking home. I live here too, you know.”
“Go walk with Suga or something like you usually do!”
Somewhere in the distance you can see Suga running up the hill to catch up with Daichi, panting loudly and calling out for him to wait up, he was still getting dressed, can’t you have some mercy, you stupid captain.
Daichi would be generally overbearing at first and although it’s annoying it’s clear he’s just looking out for you. Plus, your boyfriend is lucky Daichi actually knows him because the treatment would be much worse for anyone else.
He may be a bit more hesitant when to comes to the troublemakers of the team, such as Tanaka or Nishinoya, versus if you were dating one of the more mature underclassmen, but ultimately he knows that even those who cause him headaches almost everyday can be just as responsible as the others when the time comes.
Daichi will probably still keep up the overprotective act for quite a while, although it gradually decreases over time, but deep down he really does trust his teammate to take care of you and will let them know as such if he sees they’re actually ever feeling unsure during the relationship and thinking that you deserve someone better.
If you’re dating one of the two in his grade, dear God, he has zero control.
Suga just amps up his playful bullying of Daichi if he’s being too worrisome.
“Suga, be careful, don’t hold her hand too hard, she has a paper cut on that finger- oof.” Cue Suga punching him in the gut with a devilish grin and reassuring him you two will be fine and to quit hovering so much.
Daichi is actually at Suga’s mercy in this case and while you feel a little bad, it’s just so funny. Whenever he looks over at you for help because please, someone stop Suga from making fun of him for being an overprotective brother, you burst out laughing and tell him, “Sorry, but I have to side with my boyfriend on this one.” Please stop rubbing salt in the wound, he looks like his spirit is about to leave his body.
You and Suga are a fearsome duo against Daichi and he has absolutely no control over either of you. As reckless as he can be sometimes, Suga is still high up on Daichi’s list of people he trusts and his caring side more than makes up for the trouble he gets you in, so Daichi feels as though you’ll be fine.
With Asahi, Daichi would try to pull the whole scare tactic on him, but he feels bad when Asashi gets all worried about Daichi hating him and ends up barely touching you if he’s around—this winds up with you complaining to Daichi about how’s he’s getting in the way of your PDA and he actually tells Asahi he should ramp up the romantic act (even if it pains Daichi to say it). Plus, he knows you’re in good hands with Asahi and he’s always careful and treats you with the utmost care in the world, so Daichi begrudgingly accepts that there’s no reason for him to step in and that you deserve to be in a relationship with the ace.
Both of the third years worm their way into Daichi’s heart in some way and he just knows he can’t control either of the people he’s spent the last few years playing with, so he simply comes to accept it, secretly glad that you chose one of them because he couldn’t think of anyone better to entrust you to.
Dating anyone on the team will have Daichi wary at first, but ultimately he knows all of them and he knows they’re good people and will likely be even better boyfriends, especially if they know he’s always lurking close by when you’re involved, so although he may try to give some of them a hard time, it all comes from a place of love and wanting to make sure that you know he’s always there for you no matter what. Once he cools down the act and sees that you’re open with him about your relationship and let him know if you’re unsure about certain things—no matter how small—he’ll be more comfortable since he knows he can be sure you’ll never keep him in the dark if it really is serious.

Note
Hi Bee ! With chapter 13 that just came out, we now know that Ellie and Tyler knew about Tegan's crush on Scholar, right ? I was wondering if you could write a scenario where he admit it to them i mean they probably forced him to spill the beans but still
A/N: One of my favourite things about otome is seeing the love interests interact with each other.
I don’t like when a game begins and ends on their relationship with the protagonist.
I don’t like seeing the love interest’s lives revolving around a single character.
I like seeing how they interact with their friends, with their enemies, how their lives were before they met the MC and how their presence impacts them.
I think these types of scenes are just as important, if not more, than the romance itself.
With all that being said… I love the dynamic between TnT and Ellie and I will protect this little chaotic trio with my LIFE.
Btw, I usually do my requests in order, but I saw this on my asks and it was like I was slapped in the face with creativity. Thank you anon.
Tegan telling Tyler and Ellie about his crush on scholar
“You seem distracted.” Ellie looks up from the blueprint on her desk to watch Tegan, a playful smirk on her face.
More than a week has passed since Tadashi’s re-election and things had just started to get back to normal. There was still tension in the school’s halls about the Nakano scandal, but that was par for the course with such big news.
Ellie had flooded their private group chat a couple of nights ago on an ungodly hour suggesting an elaborate prank on Tadashi. It was more of an excuse to provide some much-needed fun to their group of friends, so Tyler and Tegan jumped at the opportunity as soon as it presented itself.
As usual, they met at Ellie’s room after classes and spent the last couple of days looking up materials and plans.
They would use the Arlingtonator created by the Health Sciences Department as an inspiration to create their own version of the local cryptid just in time for Halloween.
Tyler was working on the creature’s final sketch, Ellie was studying one of her old blueprints as reference and Tegan... Well, Tegan was supposed to get a head start on the code. His laptop was open, but he was staring off into the distance.
Ellie’s comment pulled him out of his thoughts.
 “I’m just tired.”
He looked back into the screen, willing himself to just focus.
Ellie’s smile just grew as she watched him squirming under her watchful eyes. Tegan was hiding something, and she had an inkling of what it might be about.
Making him talk would be fun.
 “That never stopped you before.”
Tyler stopped furiously sketching the monster to make that observation, eyeing his best friend suspiciously.
“Is there something in your mind, Teegs?” Ellie said, in a sing song-y voice. “Or… Someone?”
The furious blush that emerged on his face was all the proof she needed. Tyler beamed at the confirmation, seemingly happy for his best friend.
“N-No there isn’t anybody...” Tegan muttered, but one glance at his friends told him that it wasn’t convincing enough. “I—“
“Don’t worry, bro. We’re not telling.”
Tyler’s smile turned gentle. As much as he liked teasing his best friend, Tegan looked a second away from exploding in embarrassment.
Ellie nodded excitedly, momentarily forgetting their project.
“With that being said... It’s Scholar, isn’t it?”
Tyler said, and Tegan hid his face in his hands with embarrassment. Ellie quickly extended a hand so the artist could high-five her.
 “Was I too obvious?”
 The redhead asked, frustrated.
 “For us? yes.”
 Ellie admits, with a smirk.
“I’m not sure the others noticed yet if that makes you feel better.” Tyler quickly added. “So... Since when?”
“The department competition, I guess? I’m not really sure...” He trailed off, the tips of his ears getting redder with embarrassment. “I always knew they were pretty, but... Seeing them presenting and being passionate about it...I....I don’t know, I started noticing them more. And now... I like them.”
He was still refusing to make eye contact, but he stopped hiding his face, which was progress.
Ellie left her desk to sit next to Tegan on the couch, being careful to let enough space in between them. When he got too deep in his own head it wasn’t uncommon for him to get startled easily. Tegan was more of a danger to himself, but Ellie was accidentally hit once and still wasn’t over it.
“Hey, dude, we’re happy for you!”
 Tyler assured him.
“Yeah! I don’t think I have ever seen you acting like this because of someone.” Only when he looks at her does Ellie take a risk and touches his arm. He doesn’t flinch nor flail, which is another good sign. “And Scholar is great! No need to feel embarrassed for liking them.”
“I’m not embarrassed that I like them.” His voice is vulnerable, and both Tyler and Ellie quiet down to listen to him. Tegan isn’t this open often, and even if he’s talking about something silly as a crush the fact that he chose to share what he is feeling is a big deal. “I’m embarrassed because It’s hopeless. I know there is no way they’ll ever like me back...”
“Why not?” Tyler seemed legitimately shocked at the idea. “You’re pretty cool, dude. If they don’t see that then they’re not worthy of your time.”
“And besides... Scholar does seem interested.”
Ellie notes and looks at Tyler for confirmation, who agrees.
 “You think so?”
They didn’t miss how hopeful Tegan sounded.
 “I do.”
Ellie hugs him and Tyler soon follows. Tegan tenses at first but quickly relaxes, already somewhat used to his friends being affectionate.
“Can we please go back to the Arlingtonator now?”

Ep 11 dub live reactions
The child Adam actor pronounced "Tadashi" as "Tada-shi" and I may have flipped out a little. It's "Ta-dashi" ok. This is a disservice to Big Hero Six and Sk8.
The Aunts said "Now about the wedding." So... this means they already found a bride and are officially planning the wedding? In the sub it seemed like they were still finding a bride. So Adam wasn't able to postpone it like he did in the dub? The implications of this is...... a choice. Especially if you ship Tadaai.
"What is a love hotel." Was hilarious, props to the dub actor.
I have to check but in the dub Langa knowing that the third wheel means getting in the way and Reki thinking it means skateboards is fueling the Oblivious!Reki angle
They switched the encouring Joe line to Miya with "Reki's gonna get his ass kicked." And I dont understand why.
"That's deep, aye" gotta remind the audience Langa is Canadian, aye
Tumblr media
I forgot it was literally called the White Eden Wedding Beef. Why were people ok with this????
The parallels of Langa's "Push me." And Cherry's "Push me!"
Reki seems really sarcastic and "bro-y" this episode... maybe to make it less gay???
Adam started moaning and I wasn't ready...
Adam shut! The! Fuck! Up! No one wants to hear about your sexual fantasies with minors.... (except for the edenshippers)
The Adam voice actor never holds back but "feisty redheads" is not what I was hoping to hear.
The Miya VA is very good at playing the scared tsundere freind
I dont remember Adam going "What the Hell?" In the sub but maybe it was just a different line. Its nice to see that Reki was able to surprise him not once but twice.
Jonah Scott came in clutch with that "The beef is already over." I could just feel that "try me bicth" energy
"He deserves your love" AAAAHHHHH NOOO HE DOESN'T! LEAVE THE KID OUT OF YOUR BULLSHIT GUYS.
And then it ended. Ok, this ep was cool but the sub is superior in my opinion. As much as I love the vas, the rewrites felt a little weird to me. Let me know what you think in the notes.

KARASUNO MEMBERS AS PEOPLE ON THE TRAIN
hey y’all (this is my catchphrase now lol)
so basically everything i write are things that just come to me and make no mistake, same with this thing.
anyways i like it and hopefully you do too! enjoy!
Tumblr media
TSUKISHIMA KEI
If he doesn’t have to get on the train, he won’t because he thinks they’re gross and there’s a bunch of crazy people on them.
If he has to he will, he’ll just have his headphones in. And don’t even try to make conversation with him.
Nobody really does approach him on the train, mostly because he looks annoyed and IS annoyed since he’s on the train in the first place.
He might give you directions if you ask nicely but that’s it.
YAMAGUCHI TADASHI
Thinks it’s really awkward sitting next to a bunch of strangers in silence, so he usually just goes on his phone to pass time, or he’ll ask Tsukishima if he wants to come with him so it’ll be less awkward.
Has once gotten his lunch stolen when he looked away, so now he keeps a tight grip on it.
Also that person that doesn’t hesitate to get up if they see an elderly or pregnant woman standing, he knows they could use the seat more than him.
HINATA SHOYO
Literally is so loud and annoys everyone in his train car
Once was tossing a volleyball in between his hands in the middle of a moving train and kept dropping it, so it was rolling around people’s feet and he had to go catch it every single time.
Last time he went to go get his ball somebody told him “I have a pair of scissors in my bag right now, and if that ball rolls over here again I will not hesitate to pop it.”
Needless to say he put the ball right back into his duffel bag-
If he sees someone his age he won’t waste a second going to sit next to them and start asking questions about what they’re doing
“Oh hey! Is that a basketball? Are you a basketball player? Cool! I play volleyball, and i’m a middle blocker an-“
Other than being super loud there’s a chance that he’s probably eating his breakfast or some type of snack.
KAGEYAMA TOBIO
50 percent of the time he’s unintentionally scowling, so everybody else will give him a little bit of space on the train. Of course he doesn’t mean to scare anyone but it comes in handy since people give him some personal space and nobody will try to pull anything funny.
Other 50 percent of the time he’s sleeping.
He either sleeps too long and misses his stop, or he wakes up literally about two minutes before they get to his stop. There’s no in between.
It’s a gamble, but missing his stop surprisingly doesn’t bother him as much as you would think it would.
NISHINOYA YU
Has too much energy on the train, but he’s not annoying like Hinata is.
He’s just bouncing his leg or doing a little dance to the song he’s listening to
(The song is boyfriend by big time rush lol)
Once he met a cute girl on the train and they were chatting it up, but once she got to her stop he forgot to ask her for her name and number.
Thinks about it once and a while and gets sad. (poor noya)
TANAKA RYUUNOSUKE
Is very defensive on the train because he knows about the creeps that get on and like to harass people.
“Whatcha staring at bro? You wanna rumble?”
Once caught a guy stealing $50 out of a woman’s purse, walked up to him and said:
“Oh? So did she tell you that you could take 50 bucks outta her wallet? No? Didn’t think so, bro.”
Woman was very grateful and told him he could have the $50 dollars and wouldn’t take no for an answer.
I mean, he wasn’t complaining!
Bought the team meatbuns for two weeks with the money
Back to the train lol
He rides the train often so he’s familiar with some of the regulars that ride.
“Oh hey Diane! Lookin’ good!”
“My mann, Todd! Is that a new briefcase? I like the color!”
SUGAWARA KOSHI
Suga is that one person that you wanna go to if you’re lost, need directions, or even ask him if he’s got a handheld mirror that you can use.
Is just a very approachable person on the train.
Like Yamaguchi, doesn’t hesitate to give up his seat to someone elderly or a pregnant woman.
Once, a small boy around the age of eight got on the wrong train car and came up to him crying
He asked the kid some questions, and in about an hour he reunited the kid with his parents which thanked him endlessly.
Sure he missed 1st period and was about to be 30 minutes late to 2nd period, but the child was more important.
ASAHI AZUMANE
Nobody approaches him because he just looks so scary, but he’s just another person that would be good to ask for directions or something like that.
Since he’s so intimidating, people usually give him space which he doesn’t mind.
Also has caught many people in the act trying to steal from others.
He’ll just say something along the lines of “Hey, that’s not really a good idea. Maybe you should put that back and apologize?”
Person, now shaking quickly puts back the stolen item and begins continuously apologizing before running off.
DAICHI SAWAMURA
He’s the guy that’s just standing there, obviously tired.
Yawning, trying to keep his eyes open
Groggily taking a sip out of his travel coffee mug, that doesn’t seem to be doing much.
If he’s sitting he tries not to fall asleep but always ends up nodding off, but only for like 15 minutes because he doesn’t wanna miss his stop.
KIYOKO SHIMIZU
Used to ride the train frequently when she was younger, but now every time she tries she gets hit on by at least two guys. So she just doesn’t.
She has a car anyways so there’s really no need to.
Tumblr media
ooo hey! so that’s all i have for today :) i want to do a nekoma one and maybe some of the other teams but i can’t make any promises. but i do have a lot of ideas, now i just need the motivation HAHA. anwayss hope you enjoyed! later!

warnings: nothing! (this chapter)
notes: this is chapter two!! chapter one here
Tumblr media
CHAPTER TWO
Naomi looked at herself in the mirror one more time before heading to practice. She put on a pair of Adidas sweatpants, white sneakers, and a white tank top that showed the slightest bit of her stomach if she moved a certain way. She pulled her long, wavy black hair into a high ponytail and glossed her lips. She didn't want to make it look like she put too much effort into her appearance, but she couldn't help but love the way a certain silver haired volleyball player had his eyes on her earlier.
She exited the locker room to meet up with her friends. As expected, Kei and Tadashi were at the door waiting for her. The former had a scowl painted on his face and the other looked as excited as can be.
"Kei-kun," Naomi said with a sarcastic pout, "it's just volleyball! You look like your going to the dentist!"
"Being on the same team as Bokuto wasn't on my to do list," Kei said with an eye roll. "The guy drives me crazy."
"I don't know..." Naomi said as they started to walk. "I thought he seemed..." Naomi thought over her word choice, "nice."
"He's an idiot," Kei said without hesitation.
Tadashi snickered at Kei's comment, but his face quickly fell. "I'm worried about even making the team," Tadashi said quietly.
"If you don't make the team, I'll decline," Kei said.
"No, don't do it for my sake," Tadashi lightly touched Kei's arm.
"Who said it was for your sake? I'd be bored if you weren't there, that's all. I didn't really want to join in the first place."
Tadashi's face turned scarlet red.
"What a way to say that you enjoy being around your boyfriend," Naomi said laughing at Kei's word choice.
"He knows that already," Kei said.
"It's nice to hear it," Tadashi said quietly.
Kei turned and gave the boy a small smile. Tadashi smiled back.
The gym was huge. Exactly what you'd expect of a well known collegiate volleyball team. There were six foot guys everywhere spiking balls in all directions. There was a familiar smell of sweat and heat permeating through the air. Before she could even open her mouth to say hello, Naomi felt something come flying towards her. She stepped back and kneeled down, getting into position. She put her hands up for an overhead pass, but caught the ball instead.
As soon as Kotaro Bokuto noticed which direction the ball went flying, he went running after it. He didn't want to hit the new, pretty manager on her first day. When he saw the girl in front of him go to receive the ball, then catch it, he stopped short. Holy shit, he thought, that was hot.
"Still can't keep the ball in the court, huh Bokuto-san?" Kei said with a scowl, though he knew his friend's reflexes were quick enough to not get hit.
"Yeah, watch where you're spiking," Naomi said with a smirk as she passed the ball to Bokuto.
Bokuto struggled to catch the ball, still gobsmacked at how quickly Naomi was able to respond to one of his spikes flying towards her.
"You can receive my spikes?" Bokuto said with wide eyes.
"What? Like it's hard?" Naomi said crossing her arms. "You the ace or something? Mr. Big Fancy Ace doesn't think a small girl like me can receive his spikes?" Naomi smiled a genuine smile.
Kei and Tadashi snickered.
This is why we're friends, Kei thought to himself.
Bokuto quickly got defensive. "No no no no!" Bokuto said quickly walking towards her. "That was so COOL!" Bokuto dropped the volleyball in his hands and grabbed the girls arms out of excitement.
Naomi jumped at the contact.
Bokuto noticed the girls reaction and quickly let go.
"Sorry," Bokuto said stepping back. "Do you play volleyball? I actually think it's really awesome how fast and strong you are!"
"Oh," Naomi said looking down and blushing. "Thanks, I used to play. But," Naomi was thinking of what to say, "that was nothing compared to Wakatoshi's spikes," Naomi looked up and gave Bokuto a teasing smile.
Bokuto's jaw dropped and his hair deflated.
"Uh oh," Kuroo said approaching the group. "What did you say, New Manager-San?"
"I'm sorry! I was only kidding," Naomi said laughing, but also feeling bad for offending the cute boy in front of her.
"Y-you know Ushijima-san... personally?" Bokuto said still shocked.
"Oh, yeah! I was on the Shiratorizawa girls team! I have love hate relationship with Wakatoshi-kun. It's a long story," Naomi said wanting to end it there.
Bokuto almost fainted at that news. "You were good enough to go to Shiratorizawa?"
Kuroo grabbed his friend by the shoulders. "I think you broke our ace Diyazito-san," Kuroo laughed. He seemed to struggle with Naomi's last name.
"Oh, just called me Ito-san! It's much easier to say! Diaz is my mom's name, from Puerto Rico," Naomi said with a smile. "Also, the girls team wasn't as intense as the boys, but we were still pretty good," Naomi added confidently.
"Ito-san! You are so cool! Please be our manager!" Bokuto yelled.
"Ugh, this is boring," Kei scoffed. "Let's go, Tadashi," Kei said walking away.
"Yeah, let's go talk to coach!" Tadashi agreed.
Naomi watched her friends walk away and suddenly felt nervous without the security of having her friends nearby. Both guys in front of her were very tall and attractive. She was only 5'5", but could tell that Bokuto and Kuroo were over six feet. Naomi suddenly got very anxious and sweaty.
"I mean, I'd love to, but I'd feel kind of weird managing the team if my best friends didn't make it. So, we'll see how it goes today," Naomi said looking off in the distance at her friends talking to Coach Yokota.
"Oh, those two?" Bokuto said turning behind him to look at Kei and Tadashi. "Don't worry about them!"
"Coach had his eyes on Tsukishima since the last High School National Tournament. That's very much like him to not tell anyone about it though," Kuroo said with a smile. "And we actually could use a pinch server who can do jump float serves, so Yamaguchi would be a great addition to the team in my opinion. I'm sure Coach and the captain would agree."
Naomi's nerves eased a bit. She smiled at Kuroo's words.
"Well, that's good to know," Naomi sighed. "I'm going to go find your manager and introduce myself."
"It was nice meeting you Ito-san! I hope you stick around!" Bokuto said with a large smile.
Naomi blushed. "It was nice to meet you too. I'm excited to see why they call you the ace," Naomi said as she walked away. Her curly and wavy hair bounced as she walked.
"Kuroo, dude," Bokuto said as he watched her walk away, "I think I'm in love."
"Calm down, bro," Kuroo said chuckling while putting his hand on his friend's shoulder.
"I'm gonna play so good today," Bokuto said looking at his hands. "I'm pumped!"
"Okay, let's go warm up," Kuroo said pushing his friend along and shaking his head.
Naomi made her way towards the blonde girl she met earlier. When the girl noticed Naomi coming over, she got up from the bench she was sitting on and smiled a large smile.
"Ah! Oh my gosh! Hi!" she said.
"Hello! I'm Diaz-Ito, Naomi!" Naomi said bowing. "You can just call me Ito, though!"
"Ito-chan!" the blonde girl said putting her hands in the air. "I'm Kawakami, Haya. I'm so excited you're here! The other manager we had graduated and I was so hoping someone would come and help!"
"Well, I'm hoping today goes well! I would like to stick around!" Naomi said with a genuine smile.
"Yes, of course!" Haya said grinning. "No pressure, but I can already tell you'll fit in with this group!"
"That's nice to know."
Naomi watched the boys warm up their bodies. Tadashi was practicing his serves, Bokuto was spiking, and Kei and Kuroo were blocking together. There was another boy with black hair and intense eyes setting for Bokuto. He was just as attractive as the other guys Naomi had met. What's in the water at this school? Naomi thought. His tosses seemed easy for Bokuto to hit. He was clearly a precise and talented setter.
"Who's that setter?" Naomi said leaning to Haya.
"Oh that's Akaashi! He went to high school with Bokuto at Fukurodani. No one understands Bokuto like he does. he's a good player and a good friend. We love Akaashi," Haya bragged about her friend.
Naomi nodded and watched the coach tell the boys which side they were on. Tadashi was on a team with Kuroo and Akaashi and Kei were on a team with Bokuto. Kei seemed to be explaining something to Bokuto. Bokuto grinned and gave Kei two thumbs up.
"Watching practice games is my favorite part about being a manager," Haya said as she led Naomi over to the score board.
"I love watching volleyball games. I played in middle and high school. I want to be a manager for a boys team, so I can be surrounded by the sport, but not feel sad that I'm not on the team myself," Naomi said looking at Haya.
"Also, because boys who play volleyball are SO HOT!" Haya said giggling.
"Oh, I mean, sure," Naomi said blushing.
"Which one do you think is hottest?" Haya said in a hushed tone.
"Oh, I don't know," Naomi blushed. They were clearly all good looking, but her eyes drifted towards Bokuto. He was serving first. He bounced the ball a couple times and furrowed his thick eyebrows. He was focused. The whistle blew and Bokuto threw the ball up, jumped, and hit the ball with force and precision. It landed right on the end line.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Bokuto yelled clenching his fists.
Bokuto is absolutely the hottest, Naomi thought to herself. "I haven't really looked," she opted to say before she flipped the score to 1.
"You don't have to look that hard to see if someone is hot. C'mon! Pick one! It's fun to stare during practice!" Haya laughed. "But, not Kuroo though. I've liked him since my first year," Haya added snapping to look at Naomi and flipping the score on her side to 1.
Naomi never had a girl friend to gossip with, so this was new territory for her. She's had crushes and dated in the past and she would always tell Kei and Tadashi, but Kei never liked talking about that stuff. Tadashi would always listen, but Tadashi would never participate himself until third year of high school when he confessed to having feelings for Kei.
When she did start seeing someone in high school, her teammates were shocked by the event.
"When did this happen?!"
"I didn't even know you were friends?"
"You're seeing, WHO?!"
"Um," Naomi said blushing. Just then, Bokuto jumped in the air with perfect form and brought his arm back to spike. His hand made contact with the ball with power. Tadashi went to receive the ball, but it flew off his arms and knocked him backward, scoring Bokuto's side a point.
"Nice kill," Kei said softly.
"Thanks Tsukki dude!" Bokuto said with enthusiasm. "I'm on fire today!"
"Wow," Naomi couldn't help but say.
"Yeah, Bokuto is great, right?" Haya said. "Pick your jaw up, Ito-san, and flip the score board."
Naomi flipped the point. "Oops. I was distracted!"
"Mmhm," Haya said raising an eyebrow, "he tends to have that effect."
"Does he... um," Naomi's face started to heat up, "do a lot of girls... not that it matters, but-"
"Lots of girls like him to be honest," Haya hushed her voice, "and he definitely likes the attention."
Naomi felt a wave of disappointment.
"He tends to only go after girls if he really likes them, though," Haya added. "So, he's not a different girl every week guy, if that's what you're asking. He's definitely a flirt, though."
Naomi just nodded, paying attention to the game, as Bokuto continued to consistently score.
"You think he's hot, huh?" Haya said continuing to pry.
"Maybe just a little," Naomi blushed.
"Ah that's so cute! Our crushes are best friends and WE'RE going to be best friends! It's like a shoujo manga!"
"I mean, it's just nice to look! I wouldn't call it a crush! I'm not going to do anything about it probably," Naomi said getting shy.
"I feel you. I've liked Kuroo for two years and I haven't said anything."
The practice game ended up going to full sets with Bokuto's side winning. The final score was 25-23, 27-29, 30-28. Kuroo blocked a few of Bokuto's spikes and Tadashi got a few service aces, but ultimately Kei's brain and Bokuto's sheer power paired with Akaashi's sets won their side the game. It was a good game and Naomi was proud of how her friends played.
"Tsukishima-kun, Yamaguchi-kun," Coach Yokota, "come with me!"
Kei and Tadashi followed the coach to go speak with him.
Bokuto, Kuroo, Akaashi, and a few other team members walked over towards Naomi and Haya.
"Haya-chan!" Kuroo said with a smile. "Do you have my water?"
"I do!" Haya said handing Kuroo his bottle. Her face was calm. You would never know that she was harboring a crush for the boy.
"What did you think, Ito-san?" Bokuto said excitedly. He was dripping in sweat and red in the face. The tank top he was wearing was wet with sweat and sticking to his skin. You could really see how incredible his body is.
Naomi tried to seem as calm as Haya did, but she couldn't help but fear that Bokuto could sense her nerves.
"You're a really great team! You all played really well!" Naomi said trying not to stutter.
"Yeah, we're all good, but what about me? Did you see why they call me the ace? Didja?"
Naomi chuckled. He's like a golden retriever; nothing. to be nervous about. "Yes, I saw. You looked very cool out there, Bokuto-san!"
"Yeah! She thinks I'm cool!" Bokuto yelled. "Didja hear that, Akaashi?! She thinks I'm cool!"
"Yes, Bokuto-san," the boy with intense eyes answered with a blank face. He sat down on the bench and drank his water.
"Slow your roll, dude," Naomi chuckled. "Only when you're playing volleyball!"
Bokuto's jaw dropped and his hair seemed to sink, "Oh.."
Yep. Just a big puppy, Naomi thought.
Naomi grabbed a towel and handed it to Akaashi. "I'm Diaz-Ito Naomi! I'm the new manager, probably."
Akaashi grabbed the towel gently. "Akaashi Keiji," Akaashi dabbed the sweat on his forehead. "Thank you, Ito-san."
Naomi smiled. He was a lot less boisterous than his friends. She liked that; it added balance.
Kei and Tadashi were lead back over to the group by Coach Yokota after their chat. Tadashi had a soft smile on his face while Kei was straight-faced as usual.
"Boys, say hello to your new teammates," Coach Yokota said with a cheerful smile.
Everyone cheered and went to pat the boys on the backs, much to Kei's dismay. It seemed like every soft pat gave him physical pain.
"And this is the new manager, Ito-san!" Haya said putting her hands on Naomi's shoulders.
"I'll make you think I'm cool even when I'm not spiking!" Bokuto said with a determined face.
Kei laughed out loud. "You? Cool? Sorry, Na-chan here has taste!"
Tadashi snickered at Kei's comment.
"I think it's cooler when you don't try to be cool," Naomi said with a shrug before walking away to pick up the stray balls around the gym.
Naomi couldn't help but have an excited smile plastered to her face. She couldn't wait to manage this team, hang out with her best friends, and make some new friends along the way. As she thought about it, a bright smile and golden eyes came to her mind. I actually think he does seem really cool, Naomi thought to herself. Plus, he's really cute. But, he's so out of my league.

What are some nice things that Rose would say about each member of the 6?
Ooh, I love this!!!
Tadashi: (Sorry, he’s always going to be included in my BH 6 posts ^^;) Rose loves her Papa so much, he’s busy making inventions like Baymax to help make the world a better place for everyone but he always makes time for her--he always spends Friday night with his family and she and her older brother Danny both get one night a week to have him all to themselves and he’ll do anything with them that they want to do (as long as it’s safe, that is!) Rose loves it when her papa watches Disney movies with her and lets her talk about all of her sewing projects and then after tucking her in to bed he’ll read her a book until she falls asleep :)
Fred: Rose also loves her Dad a whole lot, he’s been homeschooling her since she was old enough for school and always makes lessons fun! He’s a really good writer and she loves reading the books that he writes (the ones that she’s old enough to read, that is!) He’s really good about helping her be brave and try new things while also making sure she doesn’t push herself too far.
Hiro: Her Uncle is super smart, just like her Papa, and he’s always so much fun to spend time with! He’ll show Rose all the cool inventions that he’s working on, and she loves going over to his house so she can see her Uncle Ezra (his husband) and her cousins Hope and Dev :)
Honey Lemon: Tia Honey Lemon is Rose’s godmother and is always happy to make time to spend with Rose! She’s the one who’s been teaching Rose how to sew, and Rose loves getting to model all of the cute outfits that she makes for her online shop!
Gogo: Rose isn’t quite as close to her Imo Gogo as she is to Gogo’s wife, Honey Lemon, but she still loves her aunt a lot :) Gogo always makes a point of asking how Rose is doing whenever she’s over at their house, and she’s a really good listener and gives great hugs and advice when needed :)
Wasabi: Rose’s Uncle Wasabi babysat her and Danny a lot when they were growing up, especially when they were really little (while Tadashi loves all of his friends and family he trusts Wasabi to be the most responsible and while Wasabi was a bit nervous around babies at first he ended up discovering pretty quickly that he’s actually great with them!) Rose loves all the tasty food that her uncle makes whenever he’s watching her and Danny, and even though she’s old enough now that she and Danny can be left at home on their own she still loves spending time with her uncle and he’s always happy to spend time with her too!
Baymax: Baymax has always been a part of Rose’s life, even before she was born--when Tadashi invented a special incubator type device to allow same sex couples to have a baby Baymax was put in charge of making sure that all the babies were developing healthily and safely! Baymax spends most of his time at Hamada Bro’s Inc. (the company owned by her Tadashi and Hiro) helping out with various things but Rose loves it when she gets to visit her papa at work and give her favorite robot a big hug!

Big Hero 6: The Series - Least Favorite to Favorite Episode (Season 1)
Hi, everyone! So, I love ranking episodes of shows that I really get invested into from my least favorite to favorite and I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile, so here’s my personal list of ranking the episodes from season 1 of bh6:ts from worst to best!
22. Big Hero 7 If I had to pick an episode from this season that I enjoyed the least, it would be this one. Not that this episode was terrible or anything, but I guess for myself, it seemed too predictable. Knowing that Richardson Mole was going to be the temporary seventh member of Big Hero 6, it seemed obvious that somehow he’d lose his memory by the end of the episode. Not only that, but I just don’t find Richardson to be an interesting character. Although, this episode does give me a small bit of hope that him and Fred can become friends someday. Not soon, but someday. High Voltage was pretty good in this episode though and the music was fantastic! Also, I feel like this is the one episode of the series where you if you didn’t watch it, there wasn’t even any minor details that come back in another episode. 21. Fan Friction I actually do feel bad about ranking this episode so far down the list, but if you read my review on the episode, you know why it’s here. While I enjoyed certain elements this episode had to offer, I felt really bad for Hiro. He was embarrassed by Karmi’s fanfiction of him and the others and clearly uncomfortable with all the “Karmutie” talk. I would have liked to see the nerd gang be more understanding as well. But I like that Karmi’s fanfiction inspired Hiro to create Overdrive Mode for Baymax as well as give the others ideas for their weapons. And their chibi forms were adorable! 20. Big Roommates 2 In which Honey Lemon moves into Gogo’s apartment and we’re introduced to Globby. I like that we got to see how the girls became roommates and the antics of showing how different they are which led to some bickering was understandable. But I’ll also admit that the talks about the glass being half empty/half full was getting a tad bit cheesy. Getting to see Globby’s origins was nice and he’s a very enjoyable character! Honey naturally felt bad about her purse being the cause of his transformation. While I enjoyed some of her lines while feeling very down about the situation, I felt like Honey was trying too hard to not be her usual, bubbly self. And while I was pretty confident about the quality of animation flow getting better throughout the season (which it did!) I must say this is the episode where I enjoyed the animation the least. Overall it was a decent episode. 19. Mr. Sparkles Loses His Sparkle Gotta say, I like that they took a villain that never made it in the movie and brought him in for the show. That being said, Mr. Sparkles is my least favorite villain so far. It’s probably because he’s only been in one episode (so far), but I just find the other villains to be far more interesting. However, I did enjoy how insane his game show obstacles were and would oddly want to try out for the show if it was real. It was great to see Mochi become a viral sensation! I liked his slow clap trick and how well received it was. There was also the B plot of the team needing to find a better way to get to their suits, leading to Hiro experiencing inventors block. In the end, I really love the solution of them all having a Skymax to deliver their suits when needed. Although, Hiro having inventors block felt very similar to the plot of Failure Mode. 18. Failure Mode Speaking of which, I have Failure Mode here. I admit, I’m surprised I have it this far down the list, but I think it was all a matter of just liking the other episodes more? Anyway, I did like what this episode had to offer. We got to see Hiro struggling with academics and understand that getting discouraged is okay as long as you don’t quit. It was also really nice to see Globby discover his powers and experiment with them in the best possible ways. There were some good jokes. And the Tadashi scene where we got to see him getting discouraged when another Baymax test went unsuccessful was really great. 17. Big Problem Ah, this was an interesting episode, wasn’t it? I felt that this was a nice introduction to Liv Amara. It’s definitely good to see a young female character running a successful company. I’m disappointed that she lost interest in Baymax after learning Hiro wasn’t his creator, but that’s probably for the best. Her interest in Karmi’s invention sparks jealousy in Hiro which I personally found to be understandable. But at the same time, it makes sense for Liv to want to fund Karmi’s project more since she’s a biotech major. Hiro learns a good lesson in the end though. Oh, and there’s also this rich guy that gets turned into a monster which is still currently unknown. With how the plot of this episode was, it’s hard for it to stand on its own, but (SPOILERS)...we’ll be getting some answers real soon. 16. Small Hiro One We’re introduced to two former SFIT students. One is Trevor Trengrove, a famous scientist. The other is Wendy Wower; also a scientist, but became a child entertainer. Both unique characters, but ultimately, Trevor was egotistical from the start. He holds a workshop at SFIT that everyone can attend...except Hiro who was ruled out to be too young. So, he gets stuck working as an assistant for Wendy Wower who was teaching kids (and Fred) how exciting science could be! Along the way, we learn some interesting facts. The most important one was that the thesis Trevor based his career off of belonged to Wendy. Somehow, Yama got his hands on the flash-drive that has proof of that and blackmailed him to create some new features to Mega Yama to defeat Big Hero 6. It’s not surprising to me that Trevor turned out to be a phony, but I do like that in the end, he owned up to his actions. And Wendy was very enjoyable. Despite her thesis being stolen, she still wanted to have a career and her teaching children about how fun science is is adorable. Also, the ending to this episode in which Hiro discovers that Granville taught at SFIT 20 years prior was quite the twist. 15. Aunt Cass Goes Out An entertaining episode. I thought it was interesting that Hiro decided that Aunt Cass should go out on a date so she’d be less likely to discover his superhero identity. It’s definitely not the correct solution, but seeing Hiro going through a dating site and deeming none of the men on there right for his aunt to be adorable. While Krei doesn’t deserve Aunt Cass in the slightest, I’m surprised that the date didn’t go worse than it could have. They had a common interest and kept his cool to impress her, but let’s face it. His true love is money. Or at least letting people know how rich he is. There may not have been an actual villain to face, but it was a nice change of pace to have a surprise party loving scientist be our antagonist. It was so sweet seeing Hiro being so protective of Cass and we can only hope he’ll learn to be more cautious with hiding his superhero identity. 14. Muirahara Woods An action-packed filler that was hard not to enjoy. I can’t blame Hiro and Fred for being curious as to what Gogo does when she’s on her own, but come on. Let the girl have her privacy. But their wacky adventures in the woods was hilarious. Hiro has a difficult time considering he’s more of a city guy. It doesn’t help that their tech stopped working the further they got into the woods, but Ned Ludd was there to help. I liked his backstory and that he also keeps a meteor (Bessie) which is the cause of the tech not working. He hates technology which leads to a malfunctioning Baymax getting taken by him. This is what I like about the episode. The team feels that things have been too easy for them lately, but Ned gave them a challenge. They had to be resourceful in order to get Baymax back and I loved that their weapons were as close to their regular weapons as could be. 13. Issue 188 Ahhh yes. The episode that introduced us to Karmi, High Voltage and Richardson Mole. It was cool to see that Granville paired up Hiro and Karmi for an assignment where he’s supposed to learn from her socialization experience. However, we quickly learn that she’s very antisocial. I like how she talks to her viruses. High Voltage are an electric mother-daughter duo that aren’t easy for Big Hero 6 to beat. But Fred believes the solution to their problems lies in a Captain Fancy comic. He may not own Issue 188, but Richardson Mole (an annoying 11 year old and Fred’s rival) does! I know I mentioned it with Big Hero 7, but I love High Voltage’s music. They’re great villains and this was a good introduction for them! As for Karmi, while I’m more than aware of how split the opinions are of her, I like her. She may not be nice to Hiro, but I do enjoy that she thinks Hiro likes her when in reality, she has a crush on his superhero persona not knowing it’s actually him. 12. Fred’s Bro-Tillion I’ve seen people not really liking this episode and it makes me sad! While this episode isn’t quite in my Top 10, it’s an episode that I really like a lot. It’s an episode that had a very nostalgic vibe to it. That may possibly be because Baron Von Steamer was our villain, but I loved how well this episode tied into things together. Fred learned how to dance because of Baymax and used those dance moves to defeat Steamer. Steamer himself was a really exciting villain and I love that he’s an arch nemesis to Fred’s dad. Before the team suited up, they had to attempt defeated Steamer in their catering attire which you all know I love. There were lots of good jokes as well. 11. Steamer’s Revenge Speaking of Steamer, his second appearance is right above his first. The two major plots to this episode were both equally enjoyable in my opinion. We have Fred who doesn’t feel like he’ll measure up to his dad in a superhero sense. I found that to be a realistic insecurity for him. He looks up to his father and loves the superhero world. He just wants to be like his dad and make him proud. And he literally had to be like his dad by dressing up as him to fool Steamer. It’s amazing how self aware Steamer was of him realizing that Boss Awesome defeats him because he always reveals his plans to him. And the giant statue of Boss Awesome being a Steamer weapon was a great twist. There was also the plot of it being Wasabi’s birthday and that went very well. I thought it was really sweet that the others got Wasabi’s car out of the bay, fixed it up and even upgraded it for him. 10. Baymax Returns The one hour pilot episode made its way to the number 10 spot! This was an incredibly satisfying first episode in many ways. It’s an immediate continuation from the events in the movie. The amount of references to the movie were great! We already get to see more the nerd gang’s personalities shine. We’re introduced to Granville who is an amazing professor and dean to SFIT. We’re reintroduced to Yama who’s working for our main season 1 villain. We got to see the process of Hiro rebuilding Baymax which I felt was a very important thing to watch. It’s good to see that it didn’t come as easy to him as he assumed. The conversation at the end with Hiro and Granville is still one of my favorite scenes. And at the very end, we’re introduced to the big bad Obake. 9. Food Fight I said I wanted more Aunt Cass and boy did this episode deliver. Cass gets herself unintentionally involved in a food fighting competition and it was amazing! She was truly in her element and enjoying herself. Again, we get to see Hiro being protective and worried for her which is always very sweet. We were also introduced to Momakase in this episode who is definitely one of my favorite villains! Cass managing to defeat her in the food fight was fantastic! And I love that Gordon Ramsay voiced a character in this episode! 8. Killer App What an exciting episode. We meet Noodle Burger Boy who starts out as the lovable mascot of Noodle Burger. But Obake turns him into a violent robot that can predict every move Big Hero 6 meets. NBB is pretty high up my villains list and seeing how quickly he turned evil and everything he can do is very useful. We also get to see Hiro and Wasabi clash while working on a project. I really do like that they both immediately didn’t want to work together instead of thinking it’d go well and despite many disagreements, they were able to come up with a good idea. Not only that, but seeing how well they worked together by switching suits in battle was incredible! And by the end of the episode, Obake knows the identities of the whole team! 7. Rivalry Weak Well this episode was a huge surprise! What sounded like a fun, comical episode of our main cast pranking the rival school SFAI quickly turned to a mystery starting to be unraveled. At SFAI, we discover a hidden room that belonged to Lenore Shimamoto. Honey Lemon learns that her idol was not only an artist, but a scientist too and had formulas that were way advanced given the time period. But she’s not the only fan of her. Obake is a fan as well and this is the episode where the team comes face to face with him for the first time! Definitely unexpected, but not a disappointment in the slightest. The tests he put our team up to was very clever and signing Shimamoto’s journal at the end was a nice touch. 6. Mini-Max What an adorable character, am I right? I like that despite Mini-Max being built to keep Fred out of trouble on solo missions, Fred sees him as a sidekick. And they actually work very well together. Mini-Max is for sure a useful character to have around. But thankfully, this episode had more to offer than a lovable, smaller looking version of Baymax. Hiro is suspicious of Granville for all the right reasons and seeing him spy on her led to amazing scenes with them. Seriously, the scenes between Hiro and Granville have been some of my favorites in the show! We learn that Granville left SFIT 20 years ago because of an incident that happened with a former student. She learned that even geniuses needed limits and later on, Hiro assures her that she won’t end up like that former student. But of course, my personal favorite scene (so far) happened in this episode and I can’t stress enough how much I love and appreciate the scene between Hiro and Callaghan. It was well written, emotional and showed how mature Hiro is. 5. The Bot Fighter I really didn’t expect much more of the bot-fighting world to be explored in the show, but can’t complain. Hiro returned to his roots for undercover reasons, but he does get sucked back into the world of bot-fighting. The culprit of this is Trina, a young bot-fighter who is self taught and claimed to watch all of Hiro’s matches. Now, I definitely get why some people wouldn’t enjoy the romantic parts scattered within the episode and it’s understandable why. But I found it to actually not weaken this episode. Why? Hiro’s crush on Trina wasn’t the main focus of the episode for starters. Even if Trina influenced him back into bot-fighting, it was also him missing that world that kept him from trying to find out if Yama was the one creating bad robots. Not only that, but we learn that Trina is an android. An android that Obake created. We know that he’s been watching the team, especially Hiro, for quite some time. Attempting to get Hiro on his side, he was trying to lure Hiro back into an old habit and used the image of a girl to do so. But for it to be successful, he designed Trina to have a personality that he knew Hiro would be compatible with. That being said, I loved that we saw more bot-fighting. We got a really sweet Tadashi scene. We got an adorable, supportive group hug. And we got a huge plot twist at the end of the episode where Trina called Obake her father and then it was revealed that she was a robot. All in all, great episode. 4. The Impatient Patient Hiro being sick was everything I had always hoped it would be. We got to see Hiro not surprisingly being stubborn due to catching a cold and trying to prove that an illness can’t slow him down. Except it can because he ended up getting tossed in a dumpster, resulting in a broken leg. So yeah, Hiro being sick and injured was highly entertaining. It was a real treat to see Baymax taking care of him and those visits to the doctor were hysterical. While we’ve only seen the Mad Jacks once, I really enjoyed them and I’m hoping we get to see them again. And Hiro ending up coming with that suit where he could have a video image of his face was awesome! Oh, and how can we forget just how amazing Obake was in this episode? He played Krei and the Mad Jacks like it was a game of chess and because of that, he discovered Hiro’s identity which was so chilling! 3. Kentucky Kaiju Ohhh boy oh boy do I love this episode! It was interesting to see that Hiro doubted himself due to not having a super power. But what made that doubt even better was that Obake had that doubt planted into him. So he creates super strength with a smart fabric that backfires horribly. I thought it was hilarious that he couldn’t get the suit off! Fred also gets an actual sized Kentucky Kaiju robot made which also goes wrong when NBB installs a CPU into it. This leads to one of, if not, my favorite battle in the show so far. The team has to face off against the kaiju and it was an insane battle to say the least! Hiro is able to use his super strength for a short time, but what makes the fight at its best is when Hiro only needs his genius brain to outsmart it! Fred’s dad giving him the advice of finding his true strength was very helpful and it only made Obake more interested in Hiro. 2. Obake Yashiki YOU ALL KNOW WHY THIS EPISODE IS SO HIGH UP THE LIST. One word. Tadashi. Okay, well it’s actually not the real Tadashi, but I’ll take an evil augmented reality Tadashi. When I first heard about this episode, I could not have been more excited. It was obvious from the beginning that this Tadashi wasn’t real, but how everything went down in this episode was amazing from start to finish. I loved that it was a Halloween episode. I love that Obake used the nerd gang’s biggest fears against them. I loved seeing NBB working with the Buddy Guards to steal the giant magnet. And most of all, I loved all the Tadashi scenes and Hiro eventually realizing it wasn’t him. That part where the logo on his hat changes to Obake’s logo and Obake’s voice comes out of Tadashi’s mouth was so terrifying and I LOVED IT! So...with an episode that I enjoyed so much, I wondered how could anything possibly top it?? 1. Countdown To Catastrophe BY HAVING AN EPIC SEASON 1 FINALE THAT’S HOW!! This finale was a great ending to our first season in so many ways. I don’t know where to start considering so much happened! I’ll just state everything I really loved. Hiro creating an energy amplifier which is what Obake created when he was the student at SFIT who Granville taught 20 years prior. That emotion in the scene between Hiro and Granville when she discovered what he was trying to make OMG SO GOOD. Finding out that Lenore Shimamoto caused The Great Catastrophe. Obake’s big plan being recreating it. Obake and Granville coming face to face again. His real name being Bob Aken. NBB putting a chip in Baymax making him evil. Baymax taking Hiro to Obake’s lair and him revealing that he wants to reshape the city and have Hiro as his student. Globby becoming a good guy. Everyone having to work together to stop the star from blowing up the entire city. Obake watching his dream die and as his lair collapses, he turns Baymax back to normal and decides to die with his dream. Seriously, that ending was so sad BUT SUCH AN INCREDIBLE SCENE IT WAS DONE SO WELL!!!! Yet another really nice conversation between Hiro and Granville. Granville calling Hiro by his first name and wondering what happened to Obake. It was all so good! I can’t put into words how much I loved this finale and how emotional I felt when it was over.
So, there’s my season 1 ranking episodes. I’m looking forward to season 2 tomorrow! :D

I’m gonna throw in my two cents, seeing as everyone else seems to be talking about how they feel about the bh6 series (and anyone who’s been talking to me or reading their tags knows that, personally, I love it so far). Disclaimer, this is how I feel about the show, so it may or may not differ from your perspective.
I know a lot of y’all are genuinely not fans of filler episodes (and neither am I, usually). But I’m going to be the one to tell you that I believe, in this case, that they are very necessary.
I honestly don’t think you really understood how basic your knowledge of the other members of the bh6 was (besides Hiro and Baymax) until you watched the episodes.
To see episodes tailored to showing different quality traits (both good and bad) of the characters (the Bro-trillion for Fred, Big Roommates for Honey Lemon and Gogo) is absolutely endearing to me. Getting to see more of their personality laid out makes me so happy and also helps give context to later decisions they may make.
Not to mention, as some people have already pointed out, they’ve succeeded in keeping the characters accurate to what the movie has already laid out for them, personality wise. The more I learn about the characters, the more I fall in love with them.
(That, and the new characters are superb and I love what they bring to the show)
About the villains… as some people have already said, I feel like the episodes that have been released in the UK, so far, have been setting up context for future plot. The villain’s motives (sometimes their origin stories ARE part of the episode, which is pretty damn cool tbh) and their presence in the show are established in these filler episodes. That’s another reason why I feel like they are so important.
Another thing that I want to hit on is… the thing about the movie is that it dealt with some heavy stuff (dealing with grief, especially) and that is what some people are looking for in the series. They’re looking for the same intensity that the movie brought, which is simply not going to happen in the filler episodes.
To me, the series is about moving on, and not lingering on the past. The show portrays just the right amount of respect towards Tadashi without allowing it to take over the show. Just enough mention to the movie to get a sense of nostalgia.
But there must be some sort of understanding that the show is not going for tears right now. It may in the future, but right now it really isn’t.
You can be as critical as you like of the show, but you have to understand that some things you just have to wait for.

The Boyz Big Hero 6 AU
pt.1? should i continue??
Wherein Kevin (Tadashi) is the soft and kind- hearted honey voice at San Franseoul Institute of Music, and part of a group of quirky musicians dubbed the boyz. And his brother, Hwall (Hiro) is a hardcore dancer set on making it in the underground, who doesn’t believe in the entertainment industry. In which nobody dies because i don’t need that kind of pain on a sat afternoon
Hi I’m impulsively scribbling this even though i have a heap of other write-y things in my drafts because of @straygayz HA pls support my spontaneous writing debut lmao
crowds cheer and roar, eager for the next match. the neon lights hanging from walls peppered with faded graffitti flicker as a lean shadow steps nimbly into the chalk ring
He’s dwarfed by the previous victor, who sports a lopsided smirk
But all the newcomer does is cock his head, eyes narrowed like a cat’s, fingering the long silver hanging from his ear
whispers flow through the outskirts of the gathering “hwall”
He smiles at his name and lifts his head further into the light, rolling his shoulders back
“shall we begin?”
a snap brings in a long tinkling note, a steady beat
Hwall’s body moves with the music, limbs purposeful and fluid. He saunters up to his opponent, letting the tatters of his ahem fashionable coat flick in front of him like a flag in front of a bull
He provokes the victor into action, and his rock- like form unfolds into powerful movements
They dance, giving and receiving. We start to wonder if this is a collab rather than a battle.
The music reaches a peak, electric guitar and drums crescendo-ing with the whooping of the crowd.
Hwall tosses the hair in front of his eyes to the side, relishing in the feeling of the sweat cooling his cheeks in the wind
How does one win a dance battle?
He flips into the air, arms tucked, up and over his opponent. He barely misses his head, landing on the balls of his feet, then spinning into a split t/n: don’t ask me how this works it just does okay
The crowd’s voices rise in approval as the song closes. The de-crowned victor’s face is dark
“hehe... come on, buddy” hwall’s sweet smile reminds everyone of his newbie status
“i don’t think so, bub”
Hwall suddenly looks even smaller, the crowd has shifted, cold as his opponent steps towards him
Suddenly, a shrill bell cuts through the tension. a stream of light pierces the crowd as a bike sails through the air, launched from a nearby plank of wood. the cyclist is screaming unflatteringly.
Hwall rolls his eyes but can’t keep the smile from creeping out as the bike screeches to a stop- rider screeching as well.
“hey lil bro”
“well i guess i’ll see yall tomorrow night?” hwall quickly blurts, before leaping on the bikes -very small- makeshift backseat
“oh no you don’t-” the crowd continues to advance
“this would be a good time to leave”
“put a helmet on young man”
“KEVIN”
“safety first you cRETIN”
“BRO”
“DO IT OR DIE EITHER WAY”
hwall gives in and snatches the helmet from his older brother’s belt strap. It’s pale pink and plastered with sushi cat stickers.
Kevin steps on it- or pedals really hard let the kids dream. They sprint forwards, cringing as the people scatter to either side. Boxes are thrown and some give chase.
“I SHOULD’VE STAYED IN FFFF- CANADA”
i am very attached to this now so i think its staying. yall will have to deal with the unnecessarily long continuation of this au for a few years. I hope you like it~ jk i don’t care im gonna write a whole movie

the reason why | h.h. bh6
Another old cringy Hiro imagine hahah I don’t even write these anymore, but if you guys like it you can request and I’ll do it with pleasure ^^ okay? Enjoy!
Tumblr media
~ this so freaking cute gif is not mine ~
Hiro X Reader | fluff | word count: +2.5k
You were in your room, it was 2pm when Honey Lemon texted you.
Honey Lemon: Hey (Y/N) ^^ me and the gang are going to that old arcade (Fred's idea), wanna come with us?
(Y/N): Sure! =D I'll meet you guys there in 30 minutes ;3
You put on some comfortable clothes, and made your way to the arcade, which was a bit far from your house/apartment.
While they're waiting for you, they decide to look around to see what games you all could play together. Fred insisted on doing a competition but nobody agreed with him, poor geek. After he got through it he begun to tease Hiro, aka your crush, which kind of has a crush on you too but you didn't know that just like he didn't know you feel the same.
"So... Gonna make some move on (Y/N) today, Hiro?"
Hiro jumped in surprise.
"W-wha-no! I-I mean-what are you talking about?"
"Ha! You're nervous~"
"Stop it Fred, it's not like she would like it or even let me to."
Of course the gang knew you liked each other, everyone knew but you and Hiro.
"You'll never know if you never try little bud." Fred said trying to cheer Hiro up and landing his hand on his back encouragingly.
Hiro thought for a minute, you were always there when he needed, when he thought nobody cared about him. He screamed at you once letting all his feelings go, he expected that you'd run away that day and never talk to him again. But you stood there just listening while he'd say anger words to you, and when he finished you wrapped him in a tight hug and he broke down on your shoulders. What is this feeling called again?
That's when he thought. "Why did she do that? It's not a thing anyone would do... does she-?" Finally at least one of you realized!
"Fred?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you think (Y/N) feels the same?"
Fred let out a chuckle.
"I'll let you find it out by yourself."
Then you finally arrived at the arcade, you saw your friends and ran to them.
"Hey guys!"
"Hey (Y/N)!" they all said but Hiro, which just waved shyly with his neck buried in his shoulders.
"Okay, okay, okay! Now that we're all here, which game will we go first?" Squealed Honey Lemon happily as always.
As the evening went by you guys played almost every game the arcade has to offer you. Fred loved all the videogames, Honey is a champion in the mini basketball, Wasabi and Gogo did that strength hammer game and Gogo won. You played mini hockey against Hiro and for your surprise you won. And no... Hiro haven't done any move on you yet.
It was only one thing in the place that you guys haven't tried.
"HORROR 4D!" Screamed Fred excitedly.
You stopped walking when you heard that, you knew how this would end. Hiro noticed you weren't beside them anymore and walked to you.
"Hey, you okay?"
"Y-yeah it's just..."
Hiro is your best friend for years now, even now that he wanted to be more than that, he knew exactly why you were like this.
"It's the 4D, isn't it?"
"Not... exactly. You know I love 4D, but you heard Fred's scream."
Hiro remembered all the things you already have done for him, it may sound like a little thing, but he knew what happens when you and 'horror' get in the same phrase. You and him once watched ‘The Ring’ at his place, he remembered of you staying up the whole night that day. And he had to stay with you on the phone every night until you fall asleep for that whole week.
"Yeah I know, but it's not THAT 4D. It's just a bad quality 3D with moving seats." He tried to convince you.
"Hiro, I don't know if-"
"I'll sit beside you, you can hold my hand tight as you want. Okay?"
At this point the whole gang was around you.
"Come on (Y/N)! I've been on that before, it's not that scary." Fred tried to make you feel better.
"But if you scream you obviously won't be the only one." Wasabi said with a chuckle.
"Stop whining, woman up." Gogo said her typical border.
"And we're all here with you (Y/N), there's nothing to be afraid of." Honey said in a gentle tone.
"Okay. Thank you guys, it means a lot." You said with a weak smile and they headed to the 4D.
"Hey." Hiro were still there. "I'll be here for you, I'll always protect you from anything, okay?" He said holding your shoulders.
"I know, knucklehead. Thanks." You smiled for real now, his heart skipped a beat. The boy smiled back and well... same thing to your heart.
When all of you were in front of the 4D, the guy opened it's door for you to get in and without even noticing you gripped Hiro's arm.
"I wanna seat in the back." You said firmly.
"So the back it is." He said nervously and surprised by your sudden grip.
You all had your seats, the guy closed the door and turned off the lights. You take Hiro's hand in yours.
"Feel free to grip tighter if you need to." He whispered, you just sighed. You weren't exactly afraid of horror movies, you were afraid of the jumpscares.
‘Please, put on your 3D glasses’ appeared on the screen. You let go of Hiro's hands to put yours on and look at him, he was trying to get the glasses out of the plastic pack, you giggle.
"Here, let me help you." you took the glasses from his hands, opened the pack and put the glasses on him.
"Thanks." he said and gave you the toothy gap smile, the butterflies in your stomach went nuts.
"You're welcome." you stare at each other in the eyes for a moment, both your hearts racing, until you hear the 4D movie started. It was only 20 minutes long.
It was almost like a roller coaster simulator. It was a haunted house, you get in and there's a snake in the ground looking right at you. There! You can feel the jumpscare coming, your grip on Hiro's hand tightened as he expected.
"Oh gosh, oh gosh, oh gosh! It's gonna jump on us, it's gonna jump on us, it's gonna jump on us!" Wasabi said in a terrified tone.
"YOU DON'T SAY?!" Fred shouted. Honey started laughing and now it was all a big mess, it wasn't so bad as you thought. With that, the snake jumped on the screen and the roller went by.
"AAAHHHHH MAH GOSH!" Wasabi screamed, you slightly jumped and let a little squeal out. Everyone laughed at Wasabi's actions but Hiro laughed at yours.
"Woman up Wasabi!" Gogo said between her laugh.
Some minutes after some not-scary-at-all skeletons danced around and a witch made her cauldron explode, you thought you would actually make it out alive with you and the gang laughing and such. Until the roller stopped in a dark tunnel and appeared...
"Spiders?" Honey Lemon whispered shouted.
Oh no! Anything but spiders! And not just spiders, 4D SPIDERS! Hiro glaced at you, he knew almost everything about you, so he knew about your thing with spiders.
"(Y/N)." You looked at him. "You don't have to see or listen to this part if you don't want to." He said as faster as he could before the spiders could do something and opened his arms.
Without thinking twice you threw yourself into his arms just in time for you not to see or hear the spiders attacking the screen. Hiro held you as closer as he could because of the weird angles caused by the chairs and belts. You buried your face into his neck, your warm breath sent shivers down his spine and his amazing scent made you feel a little bit dizzy. You didn't even paid attention to Wasabi and Honey's screams.
"They're gone now, don't worry." Hiro said tracing imaginary circles in your back gently. You slowly look back at the screen to see that now it was really a roller coaster.
"Guys, this is the best part! No jumpscares! Open your eyes!" Fred shouted.
"I dunno if I should trust you Fred." Gogo shouted back.
"You guys are my 'bros', I would never lie to you."
You finally backed up a bit from Hiro's arms but neither of you let go completely. The last part of the 4D was really cool as Fred said. When it was over that guy turned on the lights, Fred looked over his shoulders at you and Hiro still holding each other's arms and wiggled his eyebrows. You and Hiro looked at each other blushing madly and immediately let go, you slid your fingers behind your ear pulling your hair with it and Hiro cleaned his throat.
"S-she just... have a thing with spiders."
"Sure~" Fred answered smirking.
When you all were out of the 4D, you decided to get some pizzas a few blocks away from the arcade. You were walking beside Hiro and as you did so the urge to hold his hand only got bigger.
Once you reached the pizza, Fred and Hiro decided to get the pizzas and the rest would wait outside. Right beside the pizza was a store with the Big Hero 6 action figures for sale, you approached the glass when you saw Hiro's figure and whispered.
"Only if you knew that I was there for you after what happened with Tadashi, after what happened with the first Baymax, all the times you needed... I was there for a reason." You sighed.
"What reason?" You jumped turning around to see your one and only long time crush. "Did he listen everything?" You thought, the boy was grinning like an idiot and you didn't know why.
"Fred said he could handle by himself so I came back." Hiro said blushing.
"I see..." You answered nervously.
"So... talking with action figures now? Why doesn't it surprise me coming from you, (Y/N)?" He said trying not to be so obvious.
"Well, maybe you know me too well to think that something about me is weird because I'm actually the personification of weirdness." You nervously chuckled, so did Hiro. He approached the glass beside you.
"You know, if there was a figure of myself I would buy one for you and then buy one of you for me." You said casually and lightly smiling. Hiro thought about what Fred said earlier.
"It would be... the most beautiful action figure of all time." He almost whispered but it was loud enough for you to hear and blush madly.
"Thanks... I guess." You looked at him and he was almost redder than his shirt.
Hiro took a deep breath, it was now or never.
"(Y-Y/N)..."
You hummed.
"C-can I tell you something?" Your eyes widened, was it what you think it is?
"Sure." You managed to smile.
"You were talking with my figure right?" You nodded. "I heard what you said, you know." You both were extremely nervous now.
"Yeah, about tha-"
"There's reasons why I'm always there for you too." Hiro interrupted you, you stay quiet letting him continue.
"It's not JUST because we're best friends for a long time now and we know practically everything about each other." He said burying his head on his shoulders again.
"And I know that you do this when you're nervous." You said doing the same thing. He immediately struggled it off and put his hands on his waist nervously laughing.
"Yeah..." You giggled softly.
"So... what's the reason?" You asked with a bit of worry in your tone.
"Uh... I can't explain, it's complicated. It’s just that I care about you a lot, I hate when you're sad and I can't do anything to help because I wanna make you smile. I wanna make you laugh, I wanna make you... happy. And I dunno how to tell you. Geez! I would do anything for you (Y/N)!" He said and hit his forehead on the glass. "Ow..."
You were speechless, did your crush just confessed to you?
As Hiro rubbed his forehead you realized, all this time your crush felt the same for you and you're not together just because none of you had the guts to admit it to each other before. Hiro sighed.
"I-I dunno if I made it clear but- uh... I kind of like you. You know, more than a best friend." His voice slowly lowing as he spoke. "But it's okay if you don't feel the same, I don't wanna ruin our friendship though."
You simply stared at him still speechless. "Your crush likes you too (Y/N)! What you gonna do now?"
"Wait! I-I think I found the right word." Hiro said nervously chuckling. "I-I... I love you (Y/N)." Your eyes widened, your heart exploding in happiness. "I just thought that you should kno-"
"HIRO!" You shouted smiling, why doesn't he just shut up already?!
"What?"
"Just... Stop talking!" Your smile got wider and you were nearly crying.
"What? Why-" you interrupted him because you couldn't hold back anymore.
Oh yeah, you interrupted him.
With. Your. Lips. On. His.
You were kissing your long time crush and he was kissing back. Your hands cupping his face and his hands slowly finding your waistline, you parted blushing as never before. Hiro had a dreaming look on his face.
"Is... is this real life?" He asked looking at nowhere to be exact, you just laughed and answered.
"I asked myself the same question when you confessed to me seconds ago." He looked back at you, one of his hands pushed your hair behind your ear.
"So it means..."
"I love you too, knucklehead." you both smiled.
"So if I ask you if you wanna go with me on a fancy restaurant, Friday night... what would you say?" You knew what he was doing.
"I would say that I'd rather have a sleepover at your place to play video games eating gummy bears in our pjs and probably sleep in each other's arms cuddling after watching a movie."
"Yeah, that's the (Y/N) I know and love."
With that you kissed again, but right when Fred came back with the pizzas and saw you both.
"MAH BOOOOOOY!" screamed Fred proudly, now the whole gang looked at you smirking and giving thumbs up and in Honey's case taking a picture of you.
You quickly parted away, but didn't let go of each other.
"Are you guys official now?" asked Gogo. You just looked at each other, then back at the gang and nodded. Honey squealed, Gogo clapped her hands twice and congratulated you and Wasabi and Fred high fived making celebrating sounds.
"Everything cool! Let's go to my house and enjoy these pizzas here together to celebrate the new couple." Fred pointed to the pizzas in his hands and headed to his place leading the way.
You and Hiro let go of each other and walked to Fred's hand in hand.

What if... Tadashi and Shiro actually met? any HCs?
> They’ll become totally understanding about (and probably even become close with) each other cuz they can really relate in a lot of things considering they have so much in common.
> They’d totally talk about their little brothers (Hiro and Keith) a lot. Either tackle how stubborn, troublesome, or simply great they are the way they do things on their own and such.
> THE INSPIRATIONAL WISE DUO
> I headcanon they both need to improve their culinary skills lol Given that Shiro canonically is not that good at cooking, I always headcanon Tadashi is just not as good either.
> Tadashi (and Hiro) going all nerdy cray cray over that reeeally cool galra prosthetic arm of Shiro’s cuz seriously, he (they) probably would.
> Big Brother Teamwork. I can imagine them have this system that when one of them can’t watch over their little brother because of errands, they entrust them to each other to keep an eye on them while the other one’s busy. Shiro or Tadashi watching for Keith and Hiro from time to time.
> Tadashi knowing about Shiro’s PTSD so he introduces him to Baymax in order  for the nursebot to tend to Shiro in whatever way he can help him when necessarily needed.
> Hamada bros and Broganes bonding moments!!! like playing video games, late night movie marathons, and talking science together!!
> Shiro’s part of the high rank commanders in the Garrison, that being said, he probably knows a lot of things about space-related or science-related knowledge in general. So imagine he shares those information to robotics science nerd college student Tadashi who’s very pumped up to be enlighten by those amazing experience from Takashi. Especially when Shiro tells him that “Aliens are real!”
> Okay but, Shiro also becoming a father figure to Tadashi and like everyone else in team voltron, look up to him.
