🧸Stuffie Care Tips!🧸
Keeping your stuffie friends clean, healthy and happy is super important, but can be very intimidating if you don't know how. A lot of people are afraid of messing up their beloved friends. Hopefully this post can help!
៚ ⋯⋯⋯ ˁᱸᲲᱸˀ ⋯⋯⋯⋯ ༄
Tip 1: Lint rollers!
Tumblr media
These are super cheap and easy to find at basically any store. They won't pull out your friends fur or hair, but they are great for removing loose dirt and dust. We recommend going over your stuffie friends with a lint roller at least once a week or after any trip out (especially during pollen season!) Make sure to get under their arms and behind their ears!
៚ ⋯⋯⋯ ˁᱸᲲᱸˀ ⋯⋯⋯⋯ ༄
Tip 2: Unscented Wet Wipes
Tumblr media
Scented ones work too, but we prefer unscented because of our sensitive skin. These are great for giving your stuffie friends a proper cleaning. We usually use 4-5 wipes for a standard 16 inch BAB plushie. Your stuffie should be damp after being thoroughly wiped down. We like to gently rub in circles all over their plush. After they've been cleaned make sure to use a towel to dry them. Most stuffies will be dry in just a few minutes! We recommend wiping your stuffie at least once a month, more often if they are going out on adventures or spending time around food and drinks!
៚ ⋯⋯⋯ ˁᱸᲲᱸˀ ⋯⋯⋯⋯ ༄
Tip 3: Slicker Pet Brushes
Tumblr media
These brushes are perfect for most stuffie friends, especially Build a Bears and other stuffies with straight fibers for fur/hair. They separate fibers and detangle easily. We like to brush against the direction the plush lays (against the grain) and then with the direction it lays (with the grain). Don't press too hard when using them. If you notice the brush is full of your stuffie friends fur/hair after brushing, stop using and refer to tip 4. These brushes can be found online and in most pet stores and sections.
៚ ⋯⋯⋯ ˁᱸᲲᱸˀ ⋯⋯⋯⋯ ༄
Tip 4: Detangling Brushes
Tumblr media
For stuffies with curly, textured, or older fur/hair, a detangler is the best option for brushing them (they're also great for human hair too!). See how the tines are different lengths? This helps detangle, but they're also soft plastic so they won't pull fur/hair out while brushing. If they snag on a knot the tines will bend and the knot will slip off without damaging or ripping anything out. We have a bear with loopy fibers mixed into his plush. A detangler keeps him soft and clean without damaging him at all. These brushes can be found online and in the human hair-care section of most stores that carry brushes.
Whether you use a slicker or a detangler, giving your stuffie friends a good brushing at least once a month (and after baths!) will help keep them soft, clean and happy!

Bubbly and funny twins who decorate houses in the Sims.
Tumblr media
Jenny Nicholson 📽🎡
Movie/book reviews (including a number of kids movies and MLP), explorations of theme park history, and random interesting/nerdy topics. She is both appropriate and funny, + she dresses up for each video!! She does review a few R rated films and romance novels — but it'll be obvious which not to click. :)
Tumblr media
Pokéire 🎮
Sweet and calming lets-play's of Pokémon, Animal Crossing Wild World, and Nintendogs. She has another channel posting her music (Irish and English) and more, AmyMcDonaghGuitar, which occasionally includes swearing.
Tumblr media

In-depth discussions of Disney, Nick, and Cartoon Network movies and shows.
Tumblr media
Safiya Nygaard 🌎💄

Tumblr media
Peanutbuttergamer / Peebs 🎮
Talks about videogames and toys, and makes silly edited videos and songs about videogames too. Generally appropriate but may make the occasional naughty joke or talk about a game little ones could find scary. Sometimes has ad reads on newer videos.
Tumblr media
Did you know gaming? 🎮
Fun facts and analyses about a wide range of videogames, especially nintendo games.
SeDUCKtive 🪿
Vlog of a man who takes his pet duck places. Very cute and wholesome.
Tumblr media
B.Dylan Hollis, Tasting History, Emmymade 🍴
All cooking youtubers with a light historical basis. B.Dylan Hollis focuses on American history and is very eccentrically goofy —take heed that he might make inneuendos. Tasting History has more of the vibes of a dad cooking but has a very thorough historical analysis for all he makes. Emmymade is very sweet and has a calming voice and is more focused in the craft of cooking. Tasting History and Emmy sometimes have ad reads.

Here’s some positivity for lonely littles!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Image IDs in alt text! Click the images for higher quality!)
It can be hard being a little in a system, especially when you don’t always have someone to help take care of you! Please keep your chin up and stay strong for us. We know how tough it can be to feel lonely, and we hope that soon you’ll find yourself surrounded by people who love and cherish you!
If you’re feeling really lonely, here’s some stuff you can try that might help!
💚 Call or message a friend, caregiver, or someone outside your system who you trust!
💙 Build a pillow fort where you can feel safe. Bring your favorite toys and plushies inside to keep you company!
💜 Distract yourself by coloring a picture, drawing, reading, writing in your journal, watching your favorite show, or playing video games!
💙 Make a card or letter for your friend or caregiver and give it to them when you see or speak to them next!
💚 Play pretend with your toys! Have a tea party or go on an exciting adventure!
Thank you for reading! Or if a caregiver is helping you read this, thank you for listening! We believe in you, we know how kindhearted and brave you are, and we hope that your loneliness ends very soon!

We made Merlin a wizard hat! We have plans to make more in the future. This one is quite heavy and needs some tweaking. She still loves it. It makes her feel very magical and wizardly.

Age Regressor Alter Pride Flag!
A flag for Age Regressing Alters to represent their roles in the system;
I used pastels in the way the world is soft for many children.
Pink represents the fun and joy of discovering and exploring femininity at a younger age.
Blue represents the fun and joy of discovering masculinity at a younger age.
Green represents the joy of expressing childhood without gender constructs many people were forced into, and can safely express and explore it now through Age Regression.
White represents the purity of age regression, giving alters that space and security without fear of being in danger while being regressed.
The Primary Colors represent the Calmness, Curiosity, and Love that being age regressed brings.
The & symbol represents Systemhood, be it DID or OSDD.
The Pink Heart and Bear represent The safety of age regression.
I Hope you all like it! I hope to do more Role Pride Flags coming soon!

Hey shoutout to alters who don’t know a thing about parenting/have had bad experiences with that sort of thing, who regularly take care of a system kid/kids. Whether you’re a family member to them, a babysitter, a guardian, a caregiver, whatever, and it’s difficult? It’s not just you, it’s okay if you’re struggling or think you’re incompetent. You’re probably doing better than you think, and besides, you can always learn how to do better

For Systems with kids (we intensely dislike the term "littles") who are trauma holders, does anyone have issues with sleep paralysis? We had an episode last year where our youngest, who holds the original trauma that caused us to start splitting, woke up at front in a state of sleep paralysis reliving the trauma. It was bad, really intense and when we fully woke and she realized what happened, she erased our memories of what happened and disappeared for a few days of serious upset.
We thought it was a one-off thing. We do not have a history of sleep paralysis and that was the first time it had ever happened to us (to our knowledge). But it happened again last night with our partner System and it was worse than the first time. After we had woken, she didn't disappear right away (but did take back the memories) and her passive panic was so bad I had such a hard time trying to explain to my very concerned partner what had happened because it looked like I was in the middle of a serious breakdown. Which is not only extremely embarrassing for me, but clearly our kid is having a seriously hard time, but it came seemingly from nowhere.
