So far I've always been rooting for Beast Atsushi to join the ada after recovering at the orphanage and it's good but honestly I just want him to be a househusband. I want him to spend his time carefree and lighthearted and learn to do all trivial and domestic things his life had always been too mangled by horrors to experience. I want him to connect with the neighborhood and go to community meetings and relearn what socializing is like and that not everyone is evil and violent. I want him to live in an environment where he can feel safe and sound. I want him to know there's someone else he can always rely on, that he doesn't have to shoulder all his pain by himself. I want him to be able every day to welcome back home a person he loves. Just. Yeah. I just want peace and tranquillity for him is that too much to ask

Fanfic isn't literature? Sure, fine, whatever, but multiple people have told me my Wangxian modern AU fic helped them advocate for their own sexual needs and ended up with much better sex as a result. Has Tolstoy ever helped anyone have better sex? I think not.

I love that all of the dungeon meshi crew are complicated and have difficult to love components.#But Izutsumi is a particular kind of hard to love. I foresee a lot of people being turned off by her abrasiveness and lack of teamwork.#She is very self-centered and openly goes against what the party agrees on.#She's a picky eater in a story that is 50% about eating good and healthy food!#It is in part about her growth but admittedly even *then* she remains rather true to her self-centeredness.#Even though she isn't as nice or funny or compassionate as the others...Izutsumi is still someone worth loving.#Even the more difficult people are someone worth loving.#And those people in turn are people who have something and someone we love.#She may be a girlcat but she is the most human of them all.#I hope that if you are an anime only watcher and are feeling put off by her at the moment; you'll give her a chance.#By the way: *yes* I worked very hard to draw that skateboard pose. It was worth it.#EDIT: HAPPY 500th POST OF POORLY-DRAW-MDZS!!! What a comic to commemorate the milestone with!

I really do love the fresh take on the dead wife aspect in scavengers reign like. She didn't die in some terrible accident or at the hands of an evil third party, she died because of you. Because of your ambition and carelessness and because you didn't prioritize her enough to even look for her as the ship was going down. You will carry this guilt for the rest of your life. Nico and Percy's dynamic through the series is eternally funny to me, because it's just. like.

Percy's having a constant mental struggle between his fatal flaw of loyalty with a promise he made to Bianca to protect Nico, versus his Big 3 kid desire to maim other Big 3 kids / Poseidon descendant urge to totally maim Nico specifically. He hates Nico so so much. He thinks Nico's annoying and weird at best, and creepy/sketchy when he's older. The only positive thoughts Percy has towards Nico are "He's Bianca's brother and Bianca was my friend and I owe her/He's Hazel's brother and Hazel is my friend and would kill me if I was mean to him," "He's a powerful asset and useful ally (if questionable)," and "He's kinda pathetic and I feel maybe a little bad about it." Percy has multiple occasions throughout the series where he strongly considers - and on one occasionally actually goes through with - throttling Nico.

Meanwhile, Nico is following around Percy like a lost puppy. He explicitly can never bring himself to even dislike anything about Percy no matter how hard he tries. He has a whole bit in BoO where he's mentally going "UGH he's so stupid BUT IT'S ENDEARING HOW DARE HE." He's totally smitten. He's making deals with his dad for Percy. He's making convoluted plans to help Percy stand a chance against Kronos. During the entirety of BoTL it's like he's playing tsundere - "I'm helping NOT PERCY SPECIFICALLY with this quest! Me helping Percy would be SILLY because I DEFINITELY HATE HIM." Then he proceeds to show up to Percy's birthday party to basically ask him on a weird date and spend the entire next book scrambling around trying to help him or protect him or impress him. And Percy could not give less of a shit.

Just. That dynamic is so funny to me. Percy is the founder of the Nico Protection Club in that he's the one they're all protecting Nico from and meanwhile Nico is throwing himself at Percy to the point where the literal god of gay love calls him out on it.

Nico just wont stop crushing on guys who dislike him and everything he stands for

When did you get arson? Like how old is a living fire hazard and how was it still working

He's over 6-7 years old, which given the daily use I put him in is pretty decent. Also the guy said yesterday that it might not be the thermal paste that gone out (Arson was clean, so it's not dust or debri blocking fans) but the silicone inside it had melted/degraded over time. I'll hopefully find out his prognosis later today (and im kinda hoping the guy can see if heat damaged the keys too badly if it's repairable or not so I can still properly write on him)

#for streams and art and pretty much everything i have Misdemeanor now #but I'd still like to have a computer to take with me when I travel #or on really bad body days I cant get out of bed #use a laptop stand and work lying down #Idk if im going to buy a battery though he might be wall bound forever
