the whole story behind steve and nancy getting back together is for nancy to work on her trauma when it comes to barb, including steve, to realize and come to terms with the fact that it was neither of their faults, because when it comes down to it that is the crux of everything. vecna feeds on guilt and trauma, yes music helps bring them out of the curse when it becomes an emergency but if max, nancy, fred, and even jason's friend, were able to work through their trauma vecna wouldn't even care to go after them to begin with. we see it with max too. she is severely depressed, she passes everything off as "i'm fine", she doesn't tell anyone what's really going on, not even the school therapist. but it's her finally breaking through, finally realizing that she's not at fault for what happened to billy, that wanting harm to come to billy because of all the harm he brought her wasn't some self fulfulled prophecy, that she does have people, family and friends who love her and want her in their lives that is what the music triggers in the first place. that is what nancy has to work on with steve, which she can't do if she's with jonathan. he was her escape, he was her running from the compicated guilt and trauma and pain that came from continuing to be with steve, but she has to face it at some point.

Something has happened to every archon in each region we’ve visited…
in Mondstadt, we’ve witnessed in archon living in secret among his people
in Liyue, we’ve witnessed an archon fake his death in order to retire from being an archon
in Inazuma, we’ve witnessed in someone take the place of archon from someone in secret
in Sumeru, we’ve witnessed an archon be forgotten by the entire world
in Fontaine, we’ve witnessed in archon be executed in order to deceive the heavenly principles
what could we witnessed the archons of Natlan and Snezhnaya do?

Mr. Weston did right by Frank
One of the things that bothers me when I see it on Jane Austen forums is this idea that Mr. Weston abandoned Frank or Frank feels disconnected from him or something. I think people are really missing the cultural context and that Mr. Weston/Frank Churchill are unreliable narrators.
To begin, there is still a strong societal bias towards children being raised in a two parent home. However, even if Mr. Weston kept Frank, a single father in the Regency gentry would never be very hands on. Children were in the nursery, with a governess, and then boys often went to boarding school. We see this with other Jane Austen families. Darcy is considered a really good brother/guardian to Georgiana because he buys her stuff. She is living apart from him for a lot of the novel, including when he’s in Hertfordshire with a female companion. That would not fit with our current standards of being a “good guardian” today. So Mr. Weston giving up Frank to be raised in a home with a mother would probably be considered a good decision even if the Churchills weren’t rich.
But their being rich is a huge thing! Frank is adopted as their legal heir. I get the impression that most gentry parents would kill for this opportunity. If the Churchills had announced in a square in London that they would adopt and make an heir of someone’s baby, they probably would have drowned in the pile of babies thrown at them. Mr. Weston set his son up for life by giving him away!
Also, Mr. Weston does see Frank every year in London (something people seem to miss because I point out the quote a lot). The Churchills are not locking him away from Frank, though Frank certainly spends more time with them than Mr. Weston. Mr. Weston has been there for his son in a reasonable way in an era without easy transportation (it is not clear if Mr. Weston is allowed to visit Enscombe).
There is also the very important fact that Mr. Weston is unreliable (and so is Frank). He says that Mrs. Churchill is jealous and won’t let Frank visit, but we learn later that Frank could have and decided not to come. Mr. Weston is clearly jealous of Mrs. Churchill’s closeness to his son and denies his own feelings. Mr. Weston, in language that actually echoes Wickham, says he will not speak ill of Mrs. Churchill and then slandars her in the next breath. We should not believe him:
Mr. Weston:  But I never allow myself to speak ill of her, on Frank’s account; for I do believe her to be very fond of him
Wickham:  Some time or other he will be—but it shall not be by me. Till I can forget his father, I can never defy or expose him....  It gives me pain to speak ill of a Darcy.
Because when it comes down to it, Frank is just more interested in seeing Jane Fairfax than his father. He skips the wedding to get engaged in Weymouth (that one wasn’t Mrs. Churchill’s fault). He does not visit until Jane arrives. He shirks his duty towards his father because he can, because he is careless, it probably has nothing to do with resentment. He’s just much more interested in seeing Jane then doing his duty to his father.
You know, like a normal 24 year old.

I never fully realised how heartbreaking this "I choose the prophecy" thing is. Imagine you are Annabeth. Imagine you are fourteen and the boy you have a crush on since over a year just broke literally any rule, travelled across the whole country and held the dam sky to save you, and you hear him say: "I'm gonna die in two years, because otherwise this poor little boy would have to carry the burden of the prophecy and I can't let this happen."
Edit: I feel like y'all still aren't sobbing enough, so I'd also like to remind you that six months later, Annabeth goes into the labyrinth and gets the prophecy "and your love will face a fate worse than death".

if i think about the hunger games in peeta's perspective i WILL start sobbing
#imagine you're a boy who's going to die. you're in love with the girl you've been watching from afar. you know your fate.#you just want to help her‚ but then there's the announcement and she's here in front of you‚ kissing you‚ risking her life for you and you#think‚ i could live and i could love. you think she loves you when she hands you the berries‚ when she puts them in her mouth.#then you both survive and you go back home and nothing is real anymore. you have nothing. no family. no friends. no love. just an empty#house. a drunk for a neighbor. the love of your life walking into somebody else's arms. you think‚ i survived the games. i could survive#this. and you also think‚ i should've bit down on those berries‚ should've felt the juice burst before i died.#and then the third quarter quell announcement rings in your ears and you think‚ she will live and i will die as i should have in the first#place. the girl you love kisses you on the beach and somewhere you heart stirs and your mind revolts and you savor every touch she has ever#given to you‚ in front of the cameras and off. because you are a tribute and you are always being watched and snow's presence looms and#you think‚ i know she cares. but you get taken. you get drugged. you get tortured‚ your mind altered. the girl is a mutt‚ a murderer. she's#everything you despise‚ your mind stirs. your heart revolts. you gain more awareness but cannot distinguish reality from fiction and you#have never known katniss' love. the war ends. you heal. you come home. you plant primrose for her. years down the line‚ you grow in love#more than you thought possible. but some days‚ you cannot tell fiction from reality so you ask the love of your life‚ you love me.#real or not real? and she says‚ real‚ and kisses you.#and you sigh and kiss her back and revel in this. a home. a life. a love.#lit#the hunger games#everlark#otp: real or not real?#katniss everdeen#peeta mellark#text#tais toi lys#thgpost

Phantom, the newest addition to the Justice League, pulls Wonder Woman aside.
He has...a strange request.
He's nervous, flustered, fading in and out of the visible spectrum. It's clear that what he's about to ask of her is important to him, and even though she has an uncomfortable voice in the back of her head telling her this young hero is about to ask her out, she resolves to listen before she jumps to conclusions.
She's glad she did.
"Can...can you put a grave for me in Themyscira? I know it's just for women, but it's the safest place I can think of for it! I just...I don't have a grave, and Clockwork says it's starting to stunt my growth as a Ghost, and I have too many enemies on American soil, so. It's okay if you say no, though, I'll figure something out, it's fine."
Diana lets him ramble to the end, already knowing what her answer is going to be.
"We would be honored to host your grave, Phantom. Do you have any remains I can take home? Do you require a funeral service?"
Phantom looks...he looks beyond grateful. Close to tears.
"No, no remains. A symbolic grave is fine, it just. It has to have my real name on it, my mortal one." He says, looking hesitant. "Please don't reach out to my family, Wonder Woman. They don't know."
With that, he hands over a small slip of paper, torn from a notebook and clearly folded one too many times.
She takes it as though he were entrusting her with the rarest diamond in the world. She wants to, but she does not ask how they could not notice the death of someone so very bright.
Instead she nods, tucking the paper away.
Phantom will get a grand grave, one worthy of a friend to the Crown of Themyscira. She will ensure it.

Ok but au where Jason had vitiligo or poliosis since he was a kid and always had the white hair streak but just dyed it when he was with Bruce so as to not give away Robins identity. Stops doing that after he died cuz there wasn’t really a point. Somehow the rest of the family (minus Bruce) didn’t even KNOW he has poliosis/vitiligo and just assumes it’s a death thing
This leads to many confusing conversations
