HOBIE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HOME two hours ago.

You were anticipating his arrival, the longing of his presence tugging in your heart as your frame took home on a spot on his couch, patiently scrolling through your phone to pass time. But it wasn't that easy— your tolerance for his absence started to wane, and you even texted and called him to make sure that he wasn't dead—or something along the lines of that.

He didn't answer your text or calls, however, so you just rose from your spot on the couch and sadly wallowed to his room, where you tugged at the hem of your T-shirt and replaced it for one of Hobie's band tees. It was nearly a dress on you, but you refused to take it off because it smelled like him and it was warm.

Hours past and you were quite literally bored out of your mind— not to mention that your brain was just playing reruns of moments with your boyfriend that truly meant something to you.

You missed him. You missed his laugh, his stupid British slang that you could never understand, his scent, his smile. You missed his arms hugging you tight and you missed the way your name rolled off of his tongue. You missed it all.

It was now nearly one am, and you were starting to feel drowsier and drowsier, but you fought the blanket of sleep that began to cover you by grabbing Hobie's overly decorated guitar, sitting it in your lap as you fiddled with it. You only really knew two chords, but it was something to keep your nerves going so that you wouldn't be idle and fall asleep.

It was almost two when you heard keys jingling in the front door. You had perked up, watching the doorknob anxiously as your lanky boyfriend walked through it. He looked so worn out— eye bags lower than usual, face a little bruised up, hands clammy and cut up. He watched as you made eye contact with him, walking over to your sitting position on the edge of his bed. He came down to your level and immediately pecked your cheek, the act of affection being laced with apology and love.

"I'm so sorry, love— I didn't mean to stay out all night. Miguel was maddenin' me about some stupid late-minute mission."

You frown when you take in his apologetic expression. His nimble fingers come up to poke your sides, "You alright, sweetheart? Y'look worn out."

"Sleepy," you responded, rubbing your eyes as you threw yourself at your boyfriend, arms wrapping around him, "Missed you."

"I missed you madly." Hobie responded, lips trailing to your cheek as he peppered a few kisses there, pushing your curls out of the way to get to your lips. He tasted like coffee and you knew that he hardly drank it, so he must've been worn out.

"Wanna go swingin' with me?"

"What?" You furrow your eyebrows, half because you're too tired to comprehend his question and half because you didn't even understand what he was saying.

"I said, do you want to go swingin' with me?" Hobie responded. You blinked for a second, then nodded, taking the hand that was outstretched for you. You stood up, walking behind your lover as he guided you to the living room.

You stopped, "Um, won't I need shoes?"

"Why do you need shoes if you'll never touch the ground?" Hobie questioned with a smirk, grabbing one of his jackets and putting it around you. It was huge, just like his T-shirt— but the night was glacial and he didn't want you to be freezing cold. Plus, he adored the way you looked in his clothes.

He then scooped you up in his arms, quickly flickering the living room light off and passing through your front door, shutting it behind himself. He then shot a web to a nearby building, whispering to you as your curls caught in the rushing wind that passed you.

"Just hold on 'ta me, yeah?"

You nod and bury your head in the crook of his neck, cold breezes making your cheeks harden as you let out tiny screams, your voice becoming lost in the wide atmosphere of NYC.

New York was still. It was a peculiar occurrence for the city that never sleeps, that never ceases— but you weren't complaining.

Some areas were awake, and you swung by them, listening to the music that played from people's apartments or from the typical streets of Time Square.

Hobie would occasionally tell you about secret spots that he would practice in, or bars and parks that he wished to take you to when you both weren't busy with anything. You loved seeing the city like this— not just from an ordinary civilian's perspective, but from the perspective of someone who saves it. Who loves it. Who doesn't just live there. You see it from a bird's eye view, making you fall more in love with the city.

Hobie looks at you as you swing low through some complexes, eyes twinkling brightly in the pale moonlight. He then kisses you before resting his forehead against yours, whispering,

"I'll never let you go, I promise."

I've seen many fans rate one piece ships and for some reason they always rate pudding and sanji ship so low and i'm like?? Why? is it because of the age gap (which is 5 years mind you) and there is also those who say it's just a teenage crush from pudding nothing deep....this is literally disrespect towards my girl she felt love for the first time and some fans decided to look past upon it!! and lets not talk about the things they sat about sanji. I really dislike this fandom

I think Pudding and Sanji is really sweeet because Pudding really found so much healing and love from Sanji 😭😭 like Sanji really backed off cause he thought Pudding hated him like he respected her completely and then Pudding didn't know how to navigate around him dfjghkdf I love Pudding I'm just happy she got some love and light from Sanji.

Hi! I’m the anon who wanted to enter Spanish course!

I want to share my story, it’s a miracle literally.

So the teacher was really mad and said no, like if she wanted to add another student to the group, she would be fired. That day was crazy.

I decided that I don’t loose anything, if I just try to live in the end and stop caring about the 3D. I became so calm, I was affirming a few times a day, did sats, was just living in my mind. Then BOOM.

They decided to open another group (in the middle of the year, my uny never does that, it’s really strict in terms of languages and changing groups). So now I’ll have a really great teacher, we had a conversation, she is so sweeet😍

Now I fully realize that:

1)everything is possible

2)manifestation is so easy and effortless

Jungkook- at first I thought my fav moment would be his 1st scenting scene but after reminiscing on it for awhile I feel like my fav moment with him so far was the bench scene. I don’t know why, but theres something about her reassuring him that she has no favorites that just warms my heart ❤️ also when he thanked her for his b day celebration it was so SWEEET! (Ik thats two moments but i cant choose between then :,(

Taehyung- The moment when tae back hugs y/n at his first art exhibit while they look at the photo he took of her 🥹 that moment is tied with the moment y/n said she trusted him after he told her what happend while he was trying to escape.

Jimin- Gonna be honest it was hard for me to think of a specific moment between them, I could be wrong but I haven’t seen my mans in a while (besides little tiny moments) 😭. My fav moment has to be when y/n gave surprised him with visa 🥺 she literally shipped a HORSE for him omg 😱 he’s just a manly country man and any time y/n gets the hots for him (like when he was working on the roof of the barn 😉) is always fun lol. Also after his scenting scene (which obvi I love duh) when he talks abt his family and sis 🥺😔

Hobi- The moment when hobi whistles after jin and y/n enter the house after hobi called them when they were sitting in the trunk. He whistles and gets nervous that she gets annoyed by it but she calls it charming and says that its a great way she can find him when hes lost at the grocery store 🥺🥹 sorry i know im rambling but its so cuuute. His scenting scene is also super intense and one i really enjoyed 😉

Yoongi- The scene during his first basketball game where she ran into his arms!!! He was looking for HER and it is so heart warming to read over and over again. Anytime they tease each other in the kitchen as well!

Joon- Ok, I dont know why but the scene where y/n looses to joon in chess is just so funny to me! And when she throws the chess piece at him and he’s like “you wanna do that again? Hm”. Also when he gave her that opal (i think some stone) after she gave him his b day gifts to show his true appreciation 🥺🥹

Jin- When jin wants to go to the cooking class with HER. 🥹 Also anytime they’ve held each other in their arms while sleeping, like after jin talked about his past with her. This ones short bc honestly they have so many little moments together and so does yoongi and y/n so its hard to pic 🥺 also maybe when she gives him the lord of the rings book, my boy was in his feels 🥺🥹

"1:30 pm fu'ff'(ck)! I'm 'f'(t)oo la'f'(t)e!" Cars and people pass you by as you run along the path with a Hot Dog in your mouth, without looking back or paying much attention to the road. *I'll never have a chance at one of these roles if I get there too late!* you thought.

With a bang you run into someone big and you both crash to the ground. "fuuuuck.......!" your eyes fall first and foremost on the mess you have made. "oh my god I'm so sorry!" Your eyes widen as you realise whose jacket you have just soiled. "ah....o....oh my.....holy sh.....I'll clean the jacket I'm really really sorry!"

A light laugh is the only response from the man facing you.

"I don't believe it. I just ruined Pedro Pascal's jacket...." you whisper to yourself and still can't believe who is standing in front of you.

"It's not that bad. Leave it, but you should look where you're going in the future, pretty lady!" You turn bright red at his words and look at your watch in shock. "Damn it! I have to go! I'm really sorry, but it was nice to meet you!" A thoughtful Pedro looks after you and just shakes his head in amusement.

"The day is off to a good start huh?" He smiles and continues on his way.

You stand in front of a large building and stare at the huge windows. "Let's go then...if it's not already too late"

With big quick steps you look around the entrance hall and walk briskly to the reception.

"I had an appointment 10 minutes ago...I'm really sorry I'm late but I had a little accident on the way here..." You literally have a cold sweat running down your face. The lady at reception looks at you and smiles kindly as she holds a phone to her ear.

"Neil, your 1:30 appointment has arrived, shall I send them to you?.............ok" After a short pause she looks at you. "You can go to the back, aisle 2, room 4, left side. Neil is waiting for you there. He says you shouldn't worry. Your audition partner for the text samples hasn't arrived yet either".

A deep sigh comes out of your mouth and you nod, walk towards room 4 and knock. The door opens and Neil looks at you with a relaxed smile.

"Welcome, step in" The two of you are talking about the first scenes and script while you are waiting for your co-worker when the door suddenly opens.

"there you are, then we can start now!" Neil says and your jaw almost drops to the floor when you see who is coming in.

Immediately the blood rushes to your cheeks as the handsome, attractive man looks at you in surprise. "What a coincidence, we meet again so soon" Pedro comes to you and gives you his hand to greet you.

"ah....ehm...hi...." That's all you can say and smiling speechlessly, too uncomfortable with the whole situation, grabbing his hand.

"you two know each other?" Neil looks back and forth between you.

"well....something like that" Pedro smirks and grabs his script. The two of you start working on the text phases and, despite the situation beforehand, you quickly get into your characters. Together you rehearse for over 2 hours and Neil is visibly thrilled by your natural appearance.

You take a break and go to the cafeteria together.

"your jacket....-" "Don't mention it" you were about to start, but Pedro interrupts you, stuffs some fries into his mouth and looks at you.

"you live here?" He asks

"I just moved here and I don't know my way around yet" you dig into your salad. "is that why you ran like that?" he teases you with a cheeky smile. "hehe......yeah. i got lost first. now i know where we have to go." You can't help but keep looking at him. "working with you is pretty entertaining so far" you try to stay relaxed and put some food in your mouth.

"I think you did a pretty good job" Pedro finishes his fries. Without noticing that you are smiling at him almost dreamily, you continue to eat. "thank you...."

You two can easily inspire Neil and start shooting a part of season 2 in The Last of Us together.

It has been 4 weeks since you both got the roles and you are more than just a well-rehearsed team. Today we start filming a flashback for Joel 10 years ago in which he met another woman besides Tess because of the work situation.

The scene wants a kiss, which has to be shot as authentically as possible. For Pedro this is less of a problem as he has already shot different scenes with such a situation but for you? Primere! Great, and then also with him. You get into it and everything goes well until then. You can almost hear your heart beating, why?

You're excited.....about the scene? ...Pedro? The audience with all the cameras? Your gut feeling knows this quite well because it is totally tingling. Then it happens and the first kiss is perfect. For the shoot?....no not for that....Your breathing almost stops and you are far too nervous to continue, you run completely out of breath towards the toilet. A dumbfounded Pedro remains standing. Pedro looks after you silently and just stands there in confusion.

Once in the toilet, you gasp for breath, almost as if you are having a panic attack. You put your hand over your mouth, completely lost in thoughts, as you realise how you feel about Pedro. "not him......" There is a sudden knock at the door. "Y/N, are you okay?"

"y....yes...I'm f..fine" your voice totally shaky trying to put the words together.

"can I come in please?"

"n...NO!....i mean...fuck..." You finally open the door and look halfway at him with your cheeks all red. He comes in, closes the door behind him and looks at you calmly.

"Do you want to stop work for today? When you feeling sick we can take a break"

You just shake your head. "No...that's not it" You grab your left upper arm. Pedro eyes you piercingly, almost as if he hears all your dirty thoughts, and comes much closer to you.

Your heart is about to explode and you can't help but approach him too.

Your gaze full of longing to be closer to him, he silently granting and you slowly close your eyes. His breath is clearly perceptible, you kiss him tenderly on his lips, he continues to respond to the kiss without hesitation and plays along with your sweet lips. You detach yourselves from the kiss without looking at him. "I'm sorry....."

"you are a really sassy girl" he says with a sweet smile and carefully kisses again, more intensely and a little more dominant that you are both completely out of breath. "

We have to go back. The others are already wondering where we are" he winks at you, but you can't concentrate on anything else. Bright red, you return with Pedro and are obviously no longer in the mood for filming, so Pedro makes a deal with Neil to get the rest of the day off.

"Do you want to come to my place?" he asks you casually, without any ulterior motives. You nod shyly and the two of you finally head home to him. When you arrive, you just stand there, which makes him smile. "Don't worry, I won't bite, make yourself comfortable... I'll make us some coffee." He disappears into the kitchen and returns shortly afterwards with two coffees in his hands. Both of you sit on his comfortable couch and sip the coffee.

"we are making good progress with the work"

"yes........" you stare at your coffee. He senses your discomfort and looks at you sweetly. "in the kiss scene.... was that your first?" He scrutinises your reaction. "because you're so damn shy"

"Yeah...sorry...." you look down at your legs and pinch your jeans.

"it really doesn't have to....god damn it you're so cute"

Your head is already all messed up and you bite your lower lip, which is not hidden from him and he looks directly at your sweet lips. His fingers sneak under your chin, forcing you to look at him. Without asking you, he kisses you tenderly and carefully, which makes you relax and accept his sweet kiss.

The two of you can't detach each other, but you only separate to catch your breath and engage in another seductive kiss between your lips that screems for so much more. "you want more....?" he asks you but instead of awnsering you just kiss back, lick over his lips which makes him open his mouth and your tongues both fight for dominance.

You let out a sigh and finally you part, face to face, gasping for air. "You're a damn good kisser" Pedro looks at you, slightly messed up, but he signals for you to snuggle into his arms. Shyly, you lie down in his arms and rest your head in his neck, which is why you can smell his wonderful scent with every breath. I kid you not I was on the phone with a friend today, talking about how we've both been going through a rough time recently, and we were both like "ugh i am tired pls someone just let me lie down and take care of me". As we're saying goodbye I literally tell her "I'm gonna go a read some fanfiction to fictionally give myself the comfort reality is currently not providing" and of course I came straight to your blog (I was gonna close my eyes and randomly click on one of the parts of Honeyed bc every installment is just perfection and it felt like it would be good to have some softness before rereading Halloween again - also I saw that you reblogged it and just want to say she is indeed a queen!!). BUT THEN!! Juniper was literally everything my friend and I were saying we wanted like... babe do you read minds?????

I loved every single sentence of it!!! The fact that Joel checked in and really would stop at a moments notice if asked, the fact that he can only believe in his goodness through the belief of his love, the praise for his arms and shoulders bc yeah... it's what they deserve!!! The softness and affection infused throughout!!!! The emphasis on how Joel wants to learn and know every part and piece of his lover, the fact that he's so loving and tender... the "There y'are" has me so soft!!! The way you set the scene and infuse character dynamics and personalities no matter the length or topic of the fic is so impressive to me, like it is hard to get some much character across even in a full-length novel (thinking about some books I've read where characters don't feel distinct or special at all) so it's a real testament to your skill that you do it every time!! You've made me all gooey inside with how great this was!! Again I am floored that literally the moment I looked at your blog you had the exact thing I wanted to read just... you've made my day, you absolute legend. Even more excited to reread Halloween again now. Might reread Juniper as a chaser too, actually...

Bailey School Kids discussion

I'm currently rereading the ENTIRE Bailey School Kids series from my childhood, basically as an excuse to hunt for every fragment of information about Mrs.Jeepers and any other vampires lol. I'm maybe going to write a new fanfic soon, so I’m just hunting down as many ideas from the series as possible. I haven't completely finished the series yet, but I'm about 75% of the way thru all the books.

While I don't think my fanfic will be about this idea, while rereading everything I'm very curious about who Mr. Drake really is and how he is related to Mrs. Jeepers. They're clearly both from Romania (or at least the kids claim their accents sound the same) and he constantly hangs out in Mrs. Jeepers' basement when he comes to town. Is he her long-dead husband? Are they divorced, but he still comes to visit? Maybe he's the brother of her husband or a family friend or a cousin? We're never given a clear answer and I’m always disappointed by HOW LITTLE they interact in the books because you can never get any sense whether he's family or spouse or they're just friendly acquaintances simply because they're both vampires. We never, ever hear these two speaking Romanian to each other at any point or having any conversations about the homeland etc. So there's just NOTHING to go on.

One of the things that annoyed me about the series (even as a child in 2nd grade when I first started reading them!) was that Eddie/Melody/Howie/Liza were always worried Mrs. Jeepers, Mr. Drake etc was going to suck them dry or turn them into vampires. I ALWAYS rolled my eyes at that. When I was in 2nd/3rd grade, I was watching the original Dark Shadows series reruns with my mother every night. I knew what an actual THREAT by vampire looked like and HOW EASILY Mrs.Jeepers or Mr.Drake could have eaten these kids ten times over. I finally found ONE PAGE in the entire series that somewhat addressed this stupidity! https://imgur.com/a/WUAQs3L It's still not super logical, but at least its somewhat of an explanation of "They just like to play with their food first and take their slooooowwww, sweeet time before biting anyone."

Two other things that caught my eye is Mrs.Jeepers almost never touches any of these kids or says their names. When I was in 2nd/3rd grade, I hugged my teachers a lot LOL. I didn't really stop that nonsense until 4th grade. And I really wanted someone to touch Mrs.Jeepers so we could find out if she was "cold" to the touch. Only one page gave us that: https://imgur.com/a/DT20n8r Maybe she doesn't touch any of these kids or allow them to touch her because she's a vampire and it would make it harder to control her hunger to have warm skin touching her at all. Or she's just really scary and really aloof with all of her kids and they wouldn't dream of touching her. That comment she makes when she holds Eddie's hand: it could simply mean she doesn't want him to trip and fall, or its a warning that any sudden movements isn't good for her when she's in skin-to-skin contact with him because it could potentially trigger her vampiric instincts a bit. It's interesting she chooses to grab his hand at all, considering she never touches them at any other time.

Back to names: I believe Mrs.Jeepers would on the rare occasion, call Carey or Huey by name, but she never says the main characters names for some reason: Liza/Eddie/Howie/Melody. So when she finally says one of their names, it really stands out to me: https://imgur.com/a/VEdksBG I'm not sure why she never says their names. You'd think she'd be calling "Eddie" 90 times a day, but she doesn't.

Liza literally jumps out from behind a bush to warn Mrs.Jeepers about noises coming from her basement. I mean, really? As a vampire, she probably knew they were all there hiding behind the bush like ridiculous rug-rats, but being pounced by a third grader and warned about basement noises, I'm surprised she didn't burst out laughing. Cool as a cucumber she is.

Or Eddie's very audible comments "I hope my neck isn't the treat". Vampire or not, Mrs.Jeepers must be extremely aware of what these kids think she is. She probably bounces between finding it highly entertaining and amusing to annoying, especially because she's never harmed them and they keep making stupid comments worrying about being eaten. But she still seems to play along with it at times, like she sometimes enjoys scaring them silly. Maybe "payback" for all the trouble they cause her in class? lol

And finally, I totally wish we could have gotten the scene of Eddie trying to get Melody to puke on Mrs.Jeepers' feet. I'm sure THAT would have gone over so well. I could see her easily stepping out of the way, while internally rolling her eyes. Interesting that she never hands out detentions. I don't think this school even seems to have detentions. I think Eddie got sent to sit in the principal's office just once in the Aliens Don't Wear Braces and that was it.
