Does Mittens take after their uncle King a little?

SORT OF. while King was a bit more of a- Sorry for using this word but it’s the best way to describe it- An “Oujidere” in that he acts like a little king but he doesn’t mind being cuddled or silly, Mittens has a bit of a tougher shell and is generally more of a “Tsundere” type? They’re grumpy and easily bothered when things don’t go their way, but they think of themselves very highly as being very powerful- which they are! But most of their acting out is a coping mechanism.

Mittens is what human realm goers would call Autistic, and I’m not gonna use the ableist “high/low functioning” scale, but their Autism presents in a way that makes them very very sensitive to sensory input and they have a lot of big feelings that they have a hard time processing, in addition to being mostly nonverbal- and they didn’t really have a lot of help or older guardians who understood what they needed until Luz and Amity showed up. I love them dearly

OMG of course!

My OC is the personification of the Grand Duchy of Draostein, a fictional country I created just for the sole purpose of making a Hetalia OC.

Draostein is a small island nation a few miles off of Germany’s northern coast, near Denmark. I don’t have much else when it comes to the geography of the country yet, but I’m open for suggestions!

Anyway, Draostein’s human name is Remismund Bruns, formerly Beilschmidt— he informally changed his surname in the early 1950s.

Draostein was a state of the German Empire up until the November Revolution; a year after, in 1919, he declared independence. Remi spent his early life living with Germany, who’s technically his father. In any case, though, he looked up to Ludwig a lot. He honestly put this man on a pedestal, so he was heartbroken after WW2. (Feel free to correct me if I have any historical inaccuracies here btw, I did my research but I’m not perfect)

This is the design I have for his flag, I’m not exactly a graphic designer so it’s just a recolored, slightly edited Wirmer flag:

Personality-wise, Remi’s an oujidere. On first impression, he’s a stuck-up, snooty asshole. On second impression… nothing really changes, actually. He’s impatient, rather childish, and will say anything to save face. This holier-than-thou attitude stems from the betrayal and heartbreak he felt back during WW2 and the subsequent development of a superiority complex. He looks down on the other nations (especially Germany), even though he doesn’t have the room to. The only exception to this is Luxembourg, whom he considers an equal due to his status as a grand duchy.

Remi is also… painfully out of touch with the world, despite being a younger nation. He considers himself to be "too good for the Internet” and is so unwilling to learn how to use technology that he's managed to lock himself out of his own cellphone for the next century. Outside of world meetings, the only ways other nations can contact him are via snail mail or telegram.

A few other things about him:

His birthday is October 13.

His favorite foods are schnitzel and chocolate. He also loves French fries, but only enjoys them in private, as he thinks potatoes are “peasant food.”

His favorite drink is seltzer water. Red flag.

He’s embarrassed himself during world meetings on multiple occasions, but refuses to admit it.

Physically, he’s 17-18 years old and 5’8”.

Aside from a concept design that I made in a dollmaker, I don’t have any colored art of him yet. I do have a few doodles of him though! (plus a bonus America and Iceland)

The second out of the three (important) light knights, they makes clothes for the royals when she’s not on duty.

Can use minimal magic, but prefers not to.

Emu:

Overly expressive, hyperactive, easy to excite, open.

Uzadere

The youngest of the light royal trio, and would become the heir to the throne if both Kanade and Tsukasa were to die, loved by all the citizens of the light kingdom.

Can’t use magic, and probably shouldn’t…

Agender (They/Them), Bisexual.

Calm, the most skilled knight in the light kingdom, quick, secretive.

Kuudere

The third out of the three (important) light knights, was assigned to Emu since they’re basically the only one who can properl protect her with how hyper she is…

Can use magic, and is the best magic user in the light kingdom.

Minori:

Transfem (She/Her), Aroace.

Seems sweet, good at manipulation, sometimes remorseful for killing people but ignores those feelings, secretive.

Dorodere.

An assassin who’s after the light kingdoms royals — Nobody knows if she came from the dark kingdom or if she was always from the light kingdom, except herself.

Can’t use magic, but she’s good with swords to make up for it.

Dark Kingdom:

Mafuyu:

Demiboy (He/they), Aroace.

Cold, doesn’t tend to express his emotions, prefers to be alone then around people, secretive.

Shundere/Darudere

The older of the dark royal duo and the heir to the dark kingdoms throne, and the golden child.

Can’t use magic, but makes up for that with his swordsmanship (?).

Rui:

Demiboy (He/they), gay.

Teasing, tries to get a laugh out of Mafuyu (always fails), very serious when it comes to his duties, secretive.

Hiyakasudere/Teasedere

The first of the two (important) dark knights, he is quite… unique, for someone in dark kingdom.

Can use magic, and is the best magic user in the dark kingdom.

Ichika:

Transfem (She/her), Aroace.

Can be quite remorseful when she has to decide to approve an execution, can be irritated by small things, is better at forgiving then forgetting, secretive.

Tsunshun

The younger or the dark royal duo who would become the heir to the dark kingdoms throne if Mafuyu were to die.

Can use minimal magic, and is quite good at it.

Saki:

Transmasc (Any pronouns, no preference), bisexual (no preference).

Affectionate, not the strongest but very good at strategizing, would be the most likely to be able to blend into the light kingdom if needed, secretive.

Deredere

The second of the two (important) dark knights, some of the people in the dark kingdom believe he may be originally from the light kingdom… it’s unknown to anyone except herself if this is true.

Can use minimal magic, but they’re really only good with bursts of magic.

Miku:

Transneutral (She/he), pansexual.

Only herself and Luka know much about her, mysterious… it seems there was nothing else in his files about his personality.

One of the two runaways. Wanted dead or alive.

Her magic ability is unknown.

Luka:
