For example since Carmilla and Apollo were from the USA, the collar of their uniform has fifty little spots to represent the stars, thirteen red and white stripes on one arm , and the whole uniform is a muted light blue.

Lupus is obviously based on a canine, but are the other mechs in the program based on different animals? Or perhaps even alien wildlife from different worlds?

The ECLPS project is earth based, and all the automata mechs are based off of constellations seen from earth! Lupus being its namesake, Lupus the wolf.

On the base the automatas built and named so far are Leo, Ursa Major, Taurus, Pegasus, and Lupus!

How're the Lupus Automata gang in the kitchen? Do any of them cook/are any of them good cooks?

Kay El: he can’t cook. He’s never been in a decent kitchen but he can stomach pretty much anything due to growing up eating anything he could

Kanzee: yes!! She spent a lot of time both helping in palace kitchens and in market street vendor halls!! She was a princess of the people after all!

Lu: oh hell yes. Getting able to cook was one of the few things he enjoyed on the ship he lived on with his father and his crew, and pirate kitchens are known for being well stocked with many ingredients to experiment with. He’s practically a chef!

Yoko: this girl eats soap.

Gaa’Eng: she can hunt and gather like a bad bitch, but cooking is not her specialty. She’s more than happy to learn though!

Does Kay El feel weird about changing his name considering it's like one of the few things his birth parents picked out for him/transitioning in general because it's taking him further away from the idea he knows his parents had of him? I know this sort of stuff happens regardless as a person grows and changes even if they're cis but I imagine it's a bit more immediate than then so I was curious as to how he'd deal with it.

It was more of a gradual thing but for most of his life Kay el thought his mom and dad abandoned him

Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but what was Kay El's name before K.L.? Or is it a deadname sort of situation ('sort of' because you said he couldn't read it anyway) or a situation where it doesn't matter anymore?

Kay El is a trans guy yes, but I don’t wanna reveal his birthname, at least his first name. His legal last name would be Lennox, and his first name started with a K!
