It seemed like the entire world was crushing on the same man: Tom Blyth
Unfortunately for those who watched The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and came out of the theater in love with the man who played Coriolanus Snow, he was happily taken and loved to talk about his girlfriend any chance he got, which lead to fans making several compilations about the times he was a simp over his girl.
The most popular video was a 10 minute and 33 seconds compilation, which had around 445k views.
It started with Tom's interview with Good Morning America to talk about Billy the Kid, the interviewer asking about how he prepared for the role.
"It was during the pandemic, like any actor during that time I was just hoping that the world came back to normal so I could start making a cent," everyone in the set laughed at this, "I was living with my girlfriend YN in a barn house and we were like chopping wood every morning and visiting my friend's ranch. So when I got the part I kinda felt like I was ready for it."
"Your girlfriend, you say," one of the interviewers said making Tom smile right away, "Did she help you prepare for the role too?
"Of course she did, she's my biggest supporter ever."
The video moved to show some behind the scenes of Songbirds and Snakes footage, Tom dressed in his peacekeeper costume and dancing around while Rachel recorded him.
"See this moves?" he got closer to the camera, "I used them to charm my girlfriend."
"And I doubt they worked." Rachel laughed behind the camera.
"She loves me so I'm pretty sure they did."
The next thing shown was Tom sitting next to Hunter as they did an interview for Rolling Stone, the crew just asked about their thoughts on Olivia Rodrigo's single for the movie.
"I love Olivia Rodrigo," Hunter cheerfully said, throwing her arms up to the air, "The new album is so good."
"I'm a big fan as well," Tom joined in, "My girlfriend YN, she's obsessed with her, plays her songs all the time."
"Just so everyone knows, YN is like the coolest person ever," Hunter said, making Tom smile, "She brought us snacks on set so many times, such an angel."
"She's the best."
The following footage was Tom and Rachel's rapid-fire questions with Vogue.
"Can you guess where this is from?" Rachel asked holding up a card that showed a zoomed in picture of a suit.
"That's my Prada suit from the London premiere," Tom asked confidently, Rachel confirming that he was correct, "My girlfriend YN loved that suit, that's why It's one of my favorites."
"Oh I miss YN."
"So do I, so do I."
Next clip was Tom's interview Stephen Colbert, who just asked him if he was a fan of the books growing up.
"I was such a huge fan, I grew up watching the films. My mom and sister used to go to opening weekends to see the movies," the audience cheered at that, "Actually, for my third date with my girlfriend I took her to see the last movie, so getting to play a young president Snow is a real honor."
The video quickly moved to show the lat clip, one of Tom's interviews at the London premiere of the movie.
"Are you here on your own? No date?" The interviewer said once Tom finished answering the previous question.
"I'm here with my girlfriend, actually," his face beamed as he spoke, "She's probably somewhere taking selfies with Hunter, those two are like best friends."
"Is she close to your cast mates?" the interviewer asked again.
"Definitely, they try to steal her from me and I can't blame them, she's the best."

summary: reader wants to get her ex boyfriend, luke hughes, back in order to get her revenge.

THIS IS NOT HOW LUKE HUGHES ACTS. this is just for the plot, i have no idea how he acts outside of hockey and media!
you met luke in the summer of 2021. he was at the michigan lake house, and you were visiting your friends house who lived just next door. the boy accidentally hit a volleyball over to your friends house and from there the two of you blossomed.
though, the relationship was quite toxic, causing you to leave him the next spring, just before you could meet his parents. the two of you argued over everything, him normally starting it.
“are you fucking serious, y/n?” luke groaned, throwing your phone on the bed. you looked confused. “what the fuck did i do?”
“i dont know— maybe snap my fucking brother twenty four-seven?” luke snapped. you rolled your eyes.
“we just send pics to keep a fucking streak going, luke, why is this such a big deal?” you groaned.
“because you’re talking to other guys, what if you’re cheating?”
you scoffed and crossed your arms, “so you don’t trust me?”
not to mention, he had a huge ego, thanks to being the number four pick of the 2021 nhl draft. along with the many, many girls who loved him online. would they love his personality? probably not.
maybe another part of his shitty personality was the wandering eye he had. the way his eyes would drift to look at another girls chest or ass, it was embarrassing.
but, he was fun. fun at parties, fun at sex, fun at it all, and so were his weird friends. you personally favored dylan duke and mark estapa, but no one would find that out.
he took you out to many parties, bars, clubs. and when he said something wrong in front of his friends, he’d buy you something like tickets for a small vacation.
but there are nights where you miss him, until you remember how he would hit on all of your best friends. do you love him or do you hate him? its… up and down.
but right now, you wanted him back. to get him back, to get revenge. he deserved to feel mad, sad and jealous, everything you felt the entire relationship. it should get him back.
so you started to write letters, but after you would just throw them in the trash. all you talked about in the letters was how much you missed his touch and kiss, and how making you laugh was a bonus.
then when you tried texting him, you didn’t have the balls to say anything because you knew how disappointed your friends would be.
he was toxic, and you were not the only girl. you remember the time where you decided to try communicating your feelings.
“baby, can we talk?” you asked, walking behind him, he sat on the couch, eyes fixated on his game.
“what?” he spoke, fingers ferociously clicking his controller.
“recently, the way you’ve been just doesn’t feel fair, luke. i’ve been putting my all into us and i dont get the same treatment back, it hurts.”
luke scoffed, “you’re trippin’ babe”
but maybe you could fix him? scratch that. maybe you could key his car? or break his heart? or punch him?
then again, you could fix him.. with the nice route. instead of breaking his heart, you stitch it right back up. or kiss him. or make him lunch.
how about you meet his mom? but instead of telling her how good he was, you tell her how much her son fucking sucks.
you did. you met up with her— on complete accident. according to her, luke had not told anyone you broke up with him. he made up a fake excuse saying your family needed you for the summer.
you almost laughed in her face.
you almost laughed after she stormed out of the cafe, learning how her you her son was a prick. and you definitely laughed when you got the text from jack telling you how much shit, luke got.

Summary: Poe is your person. He's your love, your best friend. And you're his. And if anyone were to hurt you? Well...Poe would go to prison for life.
Warning: reader has an altercation with a man, allusions to sex
A/N: based off the unreleased song with the same title by Olivia Rodrigo. BACK ON MY POE HOE SHIT!
Poe parked his old truck at the famer's market. Fall has truly hit with the orange, red, and yellow leaves littered along the ground. The air no longer warm but with a chill. It's no longer bright and shiny but a bit cloudy and gloomy. You love weather like this.
The door to Poe's truck creaks as he steps out. He slams it hard because it won't stay shut if he doesn't. He rushes to your side, your door also creaking when he opens it.
With the help up Poe, you hop out of his truck and land on the ground. You pecks his lips in thanks and close the door behind you.
Once he locks up, Poe's hand is in yours and you're walking together towards the vendors selling their wares.
"Alright, what's on the list, baby girl?" he asks, waiting for you to pull out your shopping list.
When you do, you name off the items, "apples, honey, those treats that Beebs love so much, celery for the stew I wanted to make, aaaannd tomatoes."
Poe nods, "Sounds good!" He looks around and his eyes brighten, "Baby, the cider vendor's here!"
You gasp, "Oh, we have to grab some before they sell out again!" you move to grab your wallet and Poe chuckles, "I got it, honey."
"You got it last time."
"And I'll get this time and the time after," he gives you a wink and then leaves your side to get in line for the cider you love so much.
You continue down the aisle of vendors. You approach one selling fruit so you check to see if they have the apples you want. Luckily, they do, so you start grabbing some and placing them in your shopping tote.
"Hey," you hear a voice that's definitely not Poe's.
You look over your shoulder to see a man standing behind you. You watch as he looks you up and down and you scowl, "Not interested."
He scoffs, "And what makes you think I was interested in the first place, huh?"
You turn back to picking out apples, but the pushes you, causing the apples in your hands to topple over. You turn to face him, looking at him in disbelief, "The hell is your problem?"
"I was talking to you, bitch!" He grabs your arm, "What makes you think-"
"HEY!" Poe practically throws himself between you and this stranger, "Get your hands off her!" He pushes the man away from you.
"I didn't do anything!" the man yells.
"Then why did I see your hands on my girl, huh?!"
The man marches back to Poe, but the fruit vendor yells, "YOU BETTER QUIT IT OR I'M CALLING THE COPS!"
The man's jaw clenches as he eyes you and then Poe, "Fuck it," he pushes Poe one last time before stomping away.
"Asshole," Poe mutters before turning to you, his eyes softening, "You okay?"
"Yeah. I was ready to punch him until you stepped in."
Poe smirks, "Why do you think I did? Don't want the poor guy to not be able to eat anymore."
You snort and Poe chuckles and then sighs, "I know you could handle yourself, but you know I'd do anything for you, right?" You bite your lip and nod, "Good," he says, "'Cause if anyone were to hurt you...well, they'd have to put me in prison for life." he looks at you with intensity in his eyes and you have to look away. Your body suddenly feeling hot.
You clear your throat as you turn back to the vendor, "Just these, please." the vendor tells you the price and Poe immediately holds out the cash with one hand, while his other is on your waist, giving it a light squeeze.
He knows. He has to know what he's doing to you right now.
"What's next, baby girl?" he murmurs in your ear.
You step away from the stall and reply lowly, "Actually, I think we should go home."
Poe looks at you confused, "You okay?"
"Mhm...I'm just a little hot."
Poe smirks and teasingly asks lowly, "Did I get you hot and bothered, sweetheart?"
"Yes, so you better take me home right now."
Your response makes him laugh, "Whatever my baby wants," he slips his hand in yours and guides you back to his truck.
You can just go to the famer's market next week.

HC's for Abigail Roberts x Reader x John Marston
Most of these were written with a modern AU in mind but most could be read with a most canonical universe.
And...ughhh I just love these two, they're whole dynamic is just *Chefs kiss*
These are all SFW. It truly is just pure fluff down there.
Abigail is not a snuggler
John however will hug and squeeze you half to death if you snuggle with him.
You two could be a giant pile of limbs while Abigail's in her own little section of the bed all curled up.
John is a blanket hog. Abigail will constantly grumble about waking up with no blankets.
Abigail is not a morning person but yet she likes to get up early and make John and you coffee. If you're also a morning person Abigail will find out what time you wake up and get up earlier than you.
John on the other hand would have fifteen alarms none of which wake him up. He has to be shaken to wake up.
Abigail will constantly ask for help in the kitchen from you.
She's too afraid to take requests on what to make for dinner. She doesn't want to mess up and disappoint you two.
If you are a worse cook than her just having you there for emotional support will help.
John, if he's free, will drive you and/or Abigail anywhere. It's not that he thinks you're a bad driver (even if you are) he just wants to see you get there safely.
I can't explain this one but John definitely wants to move to Australia
John likes to rub his beard/stubble onto ANY skin that is exposed, he loves your reactions.
He would do the same to Abigail but he learned the hard way she does not appreciate that.
John constantly misplaces things. He'll ask you if you or Abigail have seen his keys or something and they'd be in his hand.
He would almost definitely play it off like “Yeah…I knew that”
When he's leaving the house he'll give Abi and you each a quick peck before leaving.
Abigail thrives off of eye contact. If she's talking to you and your eyes are on a book, phone, etc. she will grab your chin and make you look at her or will say your name over and over depending on how annoying she wants to be.
John sneezes like a freight train. Every time he sneezes in Abigail's presence she will look at you with the most shocked expression.
John loves to hold you both while you're sitting on the couch together. Loves to just wrap his arms around the two of you.
Abigail likes to lean against you or vice versa.
She loves running her hands through your hair.
One way to get her all flustered is to nuzzle your head or whole body into her.
Or just small acts of service. Brushing her hair, getting things ready for the day, helping with chores. It all just makes her feel so appreciated.
John is definitely a physical touch kind of guy. No words need to be said. Him just wrapping his arm around you or rubbing your shoulders is him saying he loves you.
He loves it if you initiate as well
John likes to go out and drink but Abigail is an angry drunk to everyone but you and John. John has to drink at home.
You and John had to hold her back one time from going and attacking some dude for “looking at her funny.”
Abigail definitely plans all birthdays, anniversaries, dates, etc. well in advance.
If you bring flowers or chocolate for Abigail she will be extra sweet to you that day. Grabbing your hand, kissing your cheek, hugging you from behind
If you get John something he will immediately go and get something for you. He'll be like “thank you…excuse me” then run to the store and pick up your favorite drink or something.
John uses coupons. I feel like he's one of the couponers who will buy all his items for the next week or so and only have to pay like two dollars.
John is DEATHLY in love with you and Abigail and he will tell you two constantly about how much he loves you guys.
John is an 80’s music lover. He probably has like 50 band Tees
He's always 100% ready for someone to come up to him and ask “You're a fan? Name three songs”
He also likes Olivia Rodrigo but he will never admit that but you see the way he had to stop himself from singing to her songs
If you have a tough day Abigail will be there with you for as long as you need. She will stay up till 3 am if you need to vent.
If either John or Abi see that you hurt yourself they will be all over you asking if you're okay even if it's a paper cut.
If it's pretty bad John will try and kiss it better but if Abigail sees him doing that and it's not cleaned and bandaged then she will slap him in the back of the head and tell him to wait and that it's unsanitary.
John is the least organized man. He gets pulled over and needs to find his registration? He is digging through his glove box pulling out the most random things.
Abigail on the other hand? She is a woman who likes organization. She constantly gets at John and you if something is unorganized/messy. She will ask you and John to clean it up.
John is a romantic when he wants to be. Loves kissing your knuckles.
Abigail is a very Do-it-yourself kind of woman. A button pops off of you or John's shirt? Boom mended. A door hinge squeaky? Boom, she bought WD-40.
If there's something she doesn't know how to fix she makes you or John figure it out. She will help of course. She definitely hates calling professionals
John and you have to team up during board games if you have ANY chance of beating Abigail.
John is a Car enthusiast
If something is wrong with your car he will fix it immediately.
If he sees someone on the side of the road he will pull over and ask if they need help with their car.
Just think about it, Abigail is a Black cherry lover. Loves the scent, loves the taste, loves the actual cherry.
John is the kind of guy who LOVES spicy food but also can't handle spice at all. Very low spice tolerance on this man.
It's a ritual to watch TV before bed with them. You and John will whine and pout at Abigail until she finally comes to snuggle with you two. She will act all grumpy but you two know that she secretly loves it

You had always talked about this moment with him. You were both so excited for this moment. You had both talked about this since you were children, and how excited you both were.
But it didn't quite work out in your favours.
He had recently broken up with you. You weren't sure why. But it left you in shambles, your head screaming for an explanation. You genuinely loved him. So fucking much.
People you wish didn't find out, found out. And immediately spread rumours about why he broke up with you. He found another person who made him feel better, he didn't love you anymore, he hated you, he thought you were too much to deal with. You couldn't believe anything they were saying. You didn't believe anything. What blonde girl? Who is the blonde girl? Who are they talking about? What are they talking about?
You knew it wasn't the healthiest coping mechanism, and you knew it was hurting you more than helping, but you just couldn't help it. Driving through the suburbs was a struggle. Your mind kept drifting off and convincing you that you were driving home to him.
You didn't even know if he lived in the same city as you even more.
You still had his phone number, and you got confirmation from Tommy that his phone number was still the same. Time and time again, you tried your very hardest to contact him and ask about what happened, but you couldn't bring yourself to press the 'send' button.
Now, you finally have your drivers license, and oh my god, did it hurt. The minute you found out, you cried in happiness. "I HAVE MY DRIVERS LICENSE" you yelled over the phone to your friend. But little did they know, you curled up under the blankets each night and sobbed. Why was he gone? Why is he suddenly out of your life?
Is he alright? Does he still love me? Does he still know who I am? Does he think about me like I think about him?
These thoughts plagued your mind each night.
You can't even dare to drive past the coffee shop you visited every week, along the road next to the beach, near any of your mutual friends' houses, past your schools.
My goodness, you still love him, it hurts.
And no one understands.
Where is he now?
How is he?
Contacting Phil, your "father figure", your comfort now, you ask how Wilbur is, how he's doing, how he's holding up. If he still thinks of you.
And the answer you got back was certainly mixed.
The message read: (Don't worry, sweet. He is totally alright, he's doing well. I haven't heard anything different from him from when you both were together. And of course, he definitely still thinks of you. Would you like me to come over?)
And you replied: (Yes. Yes. Please. Come over.)
And now here Phil was. On your sofa, next to you, holding you close, letting you cry.
And the message entered your head again. And it all made sense.
Phil hasn't heard anything different. Wilbur used to ramble on and on and on about you to Phil. and nothing has changed. So of course he has to still talk about you. And he still thinks about you. So he is affected by it, but he may also be too scared to reach out to you.
"Phil" You said with a shaky voice.
"What's wrong, sweet?" He replied soothingly, almost entirely like Wilbur. He's learnt how to talk to you like a daughter, instead of a friend.
"Your message. You said you don't hear anything different, and he still thinks of me? But he used to ramble on about me all the time? So does he still do that?" You frantically asked.
He laughed a little, bringing down your hopes, and then he continued.
"Y/n. Of course he still thinks about you. Of course he still rambles about you. It's all positive I promise." And that's when you blurted your true question.
"Can you take me to him? Please? I need to see him." You pleaded, and Phil lead you out to his car, and off you went.
As soon as you got there, you raced up the front steps, and knocked slightly on the door, awaiting him. What you didn't expect was him on the phone, a can of some drink you didn't know, and a scruffed up house.
As he locked his focus on you, you noticed the weariness behind his eyes, the worry. His eyes widened, and he said goodbye to the person on the phone, and looked at you quizzically. Extending your arms sideways, like you always used to, he placed his hands on your forearms and pushed them back down to your sides.
Tears brimmed your eyes. Did he hate you? Did Phil lie? Does he not want you he-
You felt long, familiar arms wrap around you and lift you off the ground, spinning you around. You were glad he's alright and still thinks of you but you knew you couldn't just immediately go back to being attached at the hip. At the best for the moment, you could go back to being friends.
"I'm so fucking sorry. I was drunk and I didn't know what I was doing. And when I woke up at my house, I was so confused. Please forgive me, I feel so bad for leaving you. I've meant to contact you and apologise, but I couldn't. Please. I still think of you. Please?" He started with no tears, and ended in a sob.
You waved off Phil and walked in with Wilbur.
"Of course I forgive you. Why wouldn't I? I just wish one of us asked or reached out. I really want to go back to what we were, but we can stay as friends, or whatever you want, okay?" You comforted. Now you understand.
"Please. I am happy with going back to what we were. I would like to be friends first but if we can't wait, which I know for a fact is unbearable for both of us-" He laughed. What a joyous sound., "-we can go back."
And that's where the relationship began (for the second time)

HEY EVERYONE IT'S ALLY AGAIN, AND IT'S HC TIME YAYAYA
And again, most of them are about Hugo, nothing new
–Hugo knows how to swordfight, but he rarely uses it because it is much more convenient for him to fight with alchemy, but due to the fact that Yong wanted to learn how to fight with swords, Hugo had to go back to it again to teach him (omg, Hugo as an older brother figure, omg)
–I like to think that somehow, Olivia actually has a personality and often when Hugo forgets to do something for her, and then asks for something himself, Olivia can just turn her back on him and sit like, "no no no, you blonde piece of shi-, I'm not doing anything for you", because she's a baddie and because I said so/j
-ALSO, Olivia really loves attention and this was the reason for her (kinda)friendship with Varian, because he would definitely be amazed with how she works, and Olivia likes when she shocks people (we all know what blonde mf didn't like their friendship)
–Yong also became sassy during their journey, and while Hugo is very proud of it, Nuru and Varian are afraid because they think they've ruined the child
–Hugo and Nuru read Flynn Ryder books because of Yong and Varian, but while Nuru read openly and everyone knew about it, Hugo hid it as best he could, he was too ashamed to admit that he was doing something for the others, but one day he accidentally let it slip and that was the end of his life (in fact, Yong and Varian just were glad that he liked their favorite books, but Hugo was very ashamed)
–Hugo did his piercing himself when he was 14 during a mental breakdown, the same with his hair, but in the end he liked the new style so much that he left it
–Hugo's REAL smile is a stupid, dorky wide smile with teeth, but because of how stupid, in his opinion, his smile looks, he began to hide his real smile and replaced it with his typical sly grin, and now when he is very happy/very excited, he bites his lip just for the sake of not showing his real smile
On an unrelated note, in modern days, Hugo would LOVE Olivia Rodrigo, I just know it

꣑୧ Joohyung was pretty nervous before heading to the pink carpet, but taking a shot before going really fixed that
꣑୧ she was a bit confused hearing that they won an award on the carpet and it even showed as they were accepting it. “I’m so surprised! Thank you moas and please look forward to our performance inside.” Joohyung quickly passed the mic back, making Soobin chuckled at her
꣑୧ as they would do little interviews on the carpet the people asking them all the questions would praise Joohyung about her looks making her feel shy and embarrassed. “Woah! Your unreal!”
꣑୧ “The dress, the makeup, and just everything girl!” The members would laugh, but agree with the interviewer.
꣑୧ “I’m so jealous of your significant other.” The girl interviewer teased Joohyung. Joohyung snaked her arm around Beomgyu’s, “he’s my boyfriend.” The interviewer eyes widened, “wait! Really? Oh my god, never mind you guys are perfect together.” Everyone laughed.
꣑୧ Joohyung was getting star struck seeing all the artists she grew up listening to. “I’m so nervous~” she hugged Beomgyu’s arm tighter He wanted to squeeze her seeing her eyes all big watching all the celebrities that are sitting on the other side. “Don’t be.” He pecked her cheek
꣑୧ seeing Olivia Rodrigo performance was definitely one of many highlights of her night plus her getting why the stage was falling apart, since Joohyung is an Olivia fan and listens to her music plus watching the mvs
꣑୧ you know Joohyung doesn’t really like award shows back at home, but American award shows are something else in a good way of course. They’re entertaining and seeing women not scared of showing their bodies and just showing off, Joohyung really enjoyed that and you could tell by the way the camera men zoomed into her smiley face
꣑୧ Joohyung wasn’t really bummed about not winning the kpop award she was just happy being nominated, and she along with the rest show support on skz winning
꣑୧ whenever the camera showed Joohyung’s face the crowd would go wild and it was starting to make Joohyung shy. Many moas after the award show saw that many artists mouthed how pretty and beautiful Joohyung looks (she was freaking out about it on weverse)
꣑୧ moas at the award show was count down and call out for txt which all six heads turn and waved at them sending smiles. It relived them a bit knowing moas are there with them
꣑୧ shakira’s performance was everything to Joohyung she loved ever second of it and moas even caught Joohyung sending hearts to shakira. Surprisingly to many Joohyung grew up to listening to western music along with some Latin music she never really liked Korean music when growing up (ballad music, opera, or even some kpop)
꣑୧ shared small snacks with Taehyun since Joohyung didn’t have a purse of anything she and Taehyun hide little snacks in his pockets. She shared some with Beomgyu and Kai
꣑୧ it was maybe an hour a half into the show, as Joohyung got up to use the restroom and of course she went with one of her female staff members. As Joohyung did want she had to do and got out to wash her hands she felt a presence next to her. She had to do a double take because it was Olivia next to her!
꣑୧ Joohyung wanted to talk to her, but she didn’t know how to start it without it being awkward and weird. “I seen you on the big screen a lot you’re so much prettier in person.” Olivia started the conversation and Joohyung wanted to thank the gods. “Thank you, and I can say the same about you.” Joohyung smiled at her. “I’m a big fan of your music I listened to sour almost everyday when it came out.” Joohyung said, as they both dried their hands. “Oh my gosh! Thank you I appreciate it. Oh! What’s your name before I go.” Olivia asked, as they walked towards the exit door.
꣑୧ “Joohyung, I’m a member of a kpop group called tomorrow x together.” Joohyung shyly introduced herself. “That’s so cool~” Olivia complimented. “Real quick is it ok if we take a picture?” Joohyung couldn’t miss her opportunity. “Of course!” Olivia was sweeter than Joohyung thought, she was so glad about it. The two exchanged numbers and Joohyung honestly doesn’t know how she did it but she DID IT
꣑୧ it was finally time to perform and Joohyung couldn’t wait! She honestly thought she would be more nervous but after seeing all the performances and getting interactions all the nerves went out the window
꣑୧ hearing the cheers and the yells from the audience was everything and more to Joohyung. They all put 1000% into this performance and having Anitta there was just amazing
꣑୧ both Joohyung and Anitta danced in the center with Taehyun and Yeonjun which moas were dying since it was just a sexy moment
꣑୧ also many praise Joohyung for dancing in heels in the performance along with her insane visuals and vocals throughout the song
꣑୧ after the performance everyone was so pumped up after the getting off the stage everyone jumped and cheered
꣑୧ as they cool down back stage Sabrina Carpenter came to say ‘hi’ and it was a quick moment but Joohyung saw how Sabrina ran her hand down Beomgyu’s arm while saying ‘hello’ and getting ready to pose for a picture
꣑୧ Joohyung felt a little jealous even though she didn’t want to be because she couldn’t help that he was handsome and everyone wants him but he is her boyfriend. So made her way in between Beomgyu and Sabrina did a quick pose and turned to Sabrina. “I’m Joohyung and this is Beomgyu mine boyfriend.” Joohyung intertwine their hands together. “Oh my god how cute you two are!” Sabrina even went for a hug.
꣑୧ now Joohyung was feeling foolish for even getting jealous with how sweet Sabrina was being
꣑୧ “aw~ my little noona was getting jealous wasn’t she?” Beomgyu was now lightly gripping her chin and teasing her. “I couldn’t help it.” Joohyung crossed her arm and mumbled. “There’s nothing to worry about noona cause I only want…you.” Beomgyu kissed her more passionately than he should since they’re in public
꣑୧ again the group was announced for another nomination the room filled in cheers it warmed Joohyung’s heart and even though they didn’t win
꣑୧ even though the night was filled with lots of excitement and joy it was finally time to get changed to something more comfortable and eat some good dinner with the birthday boy

Top Albums of 2023
Hello everyone!
It's that time of year again! For me personally, it's been a hectic year, but an exciting one too. I did my best to keep up with new music, and listened to new albums with pretty good regularity, however I didn't find myself revisiting a lot of new records, at least not yet. In the list to come, I definitely see most of them as growers, records I'll fall in love with in the years to come, that already have left a strong impression on me. Just this year alone I spent a lot of time with 2022 releases I adored like Alvvays' Blue Rev and Panda Bear & Sonic Boom's Reset, and another record I'll give special mention to in a minute. I'm hoping to fall more in love with these records, and all the records I missed this year! Let's dive in
My Favorite Record from 2022 That I Listened to For the First Time in 2023:
MJ Lenderman - Boat Songs
Ripping off this gimmick from Steven Hyden, who actually put this record tied for the #1 spot last year (with Big Thief's fantastic double album that was in my own top 10). I really became enamored with the alt-country sound this year, and this record was just the perfect scratch for that itch. The songs veer from aching to rocking, sometimes in the same track. My absolute favorite song of the year was "You Are Every Girl to Me" on this album, which evokes such strong feelings in me it's hard to describe. MJ had a big year being part of Wednesday, but I'm excited to see where he goes next as a solo artist!

10. Sufjan Stevens - Javelin
I've been a Sufjan fan for a long time now, probably around 8 years or so. I've always admired his ability to capture such intimate feelings with such sweeping and varied instrumentations. His last full length under his own name, The Ascension, came out in 2020, when a lot of new music wasn't really sticking with me. The Ascension had the same vastness that I came to know in Sufjan's work, but it felt slightly distant. Javelin closes that gap. From social media posts, it seems like Sufjan has had a tough year, and this record is about grappling with pain and loss. Removed from that narrative, the songs here build and grow with such beauty that although I've only listened in full once, I'm almost saving myself from the full wallop I know this record will give me once I really dive in. Thank you Sufjan, for everything.

9. Squid - O Monolith
Squid are an exciting band to come out of the vibrant post-post(-post?)-punk scene in England. I really liked their 2021 debut, Bright Green Field, but it was sprawling and epic, and it could feel tough to revisit. O Monolith takes everything that was great about BGF and builds on it, while also focusing in a bit more. With 8 songs at about 40 minutes, this record experiments with post-rock-esque tension builds, vocoders, and engaged, involved guitar work. I feel like these songs will work well live as well. Excited to see how this band continues to grow!

8. Wednesday - Rat Saw God
I know, I know, how surprising. I am not immune to Wednesday's Rat Saw God being on my year end list. Despite not having listened to this record a ton, I can definitely already feel like this is going to go down as a critical cornerstone of where alternative/guitar-oriented rock music will go for maybe the rest of the decade. As I fell in love with MJ Lenderman's Boat Songs, I grew to appreciate this record more and more. With huge, crushing fuzzed-out electric guitars mixed with beautiful pedal steel, it's really hard to resist this record's charms. Even revisiting their 2021 record, Twin Plagues, was a delight. Can't wait to listen to it more!

7. JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
Another hyped up album I couldn't help but put on my list. While not being super long to begin with, this record flies by, and it can be hard to miss everything. I've been a fan of Danny Brown for awhile, and have skirted around JPEGMAFIA's work, so this was a good introduction to hear them work so well together. JPEG's production here is insane, and both are firing at full mischievous speed. Just check out that sample at the end of "Fentanyl Tester".

6. Mitski - The Land is Inhospitable and So Are We
Yay! Mitski! After the kind of underwhelming Laurel Hell from last year, this record finds Mitski back at nearly full strength. Again, my weakness for pedal steel bleeds through, and I love Mitski experimenting with a new, more acoustic and natural sound. This is another record I haven't listened to more than once or twice yet, but I'm still excited to fall more in love with it. She's back!!

5. The Tubs - Dead Meat
As a huge fan of bands such as Los Campesinos! and Martha, I've always had a soft spot for British rock bands with heart. The Tubs are no different, and in my year-end revisit, this record really stood out to me. It has the jangle of old British folk and early R.E.M. with the propulsion of Joyce Manor, not forsaking sweet melodies and harmonies along the way. At 28 minutes long, I insist you give this a spin!

4. Yo La Tengo - This Stupid World
For a long time, Yo La Tengo admittedly did not click with me that much. I'm not sure what changed, but their ability to vary between raucous, distorted shoegaze to calm, reflective instrumentals really stuck with me. On This Stupid World, they've once again found that sweet balance. Bolstered by arguably one of the best concerts I went to this year, I've really come to love this record a lot.

3. Avey Tare - 7s
Avey Tare has always been my favorite member of Animal Collective. His 2019 record, Cows on Hourglass Pond, is my favorite solo release from anyone in the group. Avey has apparently been sitting on 7s for a little bit now, and I'm so glad it's in the world. Avey continues his unique blend of experimentation with profound moments of beauty, melody and depth. He's also been working more with the bass guitar on his and AnCo's latest albums, and it really works well on tracks like "Invisible Darlings" and "The Musical". Hey Bog is an epic in a year full of Animal Collective epics. Very happy with this one!

2. Animal Collective - Isn't It Now?
Animal Collective have always inspired a dedicated, eager fanbase. After a few years doing their own things, the four core members of the group have reunited to make an ultimate "for the heads" record, with Isn't It Now. Last year's Time Skiffs built on a lot of things the band as a four-piece did well, and made it more melodic and accessible (again, Avey's bass playing and Panda Bear sitting behind a proper drum kit have changed their sound in a way you wouldn't expect), however this record takes it one step deeper. As typical with Animal Collective records, the band often plays songs that will appear on the *next* record on tour for the one they just put out. As a result, when I saw Animal Collective twice last year, they played most of the songs that ended up on this record. However, I did not fall victim to demoitis, and these songs sound magnificent. Definitely their densest record, but full of rich sounds, melodies and just the right amount of melancholy. Really really love this one.

1.Jeff Rosenstock - HELLMODE
Jeff Rosenstock is my favorite musical artist. For nearly 20 years, everything he has put out, whether under his own name with his backing "Death Rosenstock" group, Bomb the Music Industry!, or Antarctigo Vespucci, has been great to amazing punk music. On HELLMODE, his first full-length since moving to California in early 2020, has Jeff more level-headed and reflective than ever, but also bursting with the sheer kinetic energy that has made his work a joy to listen to and experience since i became a fan in early college (seriously, go see Jeff live if you can!). There's a maturation here that doesn't sacrifice his passion in the slightest. This feels like a big budget record, but in all the right ways. Songs like I WANNA BE WRONG, 3 SUMMERS, and LIFE ADMIN capture the feelings of trying to work through your own life with so much crashing down around us. This has been the most in-love I've been with a new record in a long time, where I could really not get enough of it in the first month when it was released.

i used to not ship rina (embarassing, i know), so this is my essay on how season three has completely shifted my idea of them, and why i think that the wait until season three may be worth it if they play their cards right — which it seems like they are so far.
let’s start with season one. i feel like most of ricky and gina’s relationship was something you could brush off as something that the viewer could only think of as a plot device to make nini jealous, but that ultimately you knew or felt would never go anywhere. i would say they were meant to be only that at first and then, maybe, the writers changed their minds for season two when they saw fans liked the ship, but i can’t. no, because we know that scene with ricky and gina talking after the show, the “i wouldn’t give up on us” talk, was filmed when season one was filmed. do i think the writers were rooting for rina to be endgame all along? meh, not really, but they definitely had plans for them, that’s for sure.
why didn’t i ship rina at the time? simple, ricky and nini were cute back then. i genuinely liked them. sue me. the rini confession scene at the end of season one is still fucking amazing in my opinion, and there is no denying ricky loved nini, while i believe he only liked gina. i don’t think he necessarily even thought he liked her, i think he thought it was all very much platonic because, come on, he was so focused on nini that entire season. gina, though? she loved him. so it was somewhat unrequited, i guess, although i do not think ricky didn’t have feelings at all.
onto season two, ricky and nini are a fucking mess. they are not good for each other, for as much as i love them both, with ricky hating change and nini’s entire life changing so much in such a small period of time, as well as their individual struggles clashing, the long distance mess, and lily’s bafoonery in the middle. we could smell the breakup coming from miles away. that scene was really sad, honestly, but it was something i knew had to happen. right person, wrong time trope, if i may. on the other hand, portwell was thriving, and i honestly saw that coming from season one. i really didn’t think rini would break up back then, though, so the lingering question of “who will ricky end up with?” stayed around, and was somewhat answered by lily, though i wasn’t super happy about it. nonetheless, god knows i love season two portwell so much.
by the end of the series, gina is with ej, while nini and ricky have broken up. nini is on her little lesbian self discovery journey, good for her, and i could see her not being with anyone, especially considering olivia rodrigo has become increasingly more busy which has significantly affected how much screentime she has gotten in the series (and things point very much to my baby nini salrobs to eventually be erased fully, sadly, but good for liv honestly). but then what about ricky?
clearly the lily stuff was a misdirect, because onto season three, she barely appeared. and thank god. portwell are still thriving, then ricky shows up. and though i didn’t ship them up until then, things quickly shifted. yes, because the build up is what makes rina, rina. be honest, would you love the ship as much if they had become canon after season one? if you think the answer is yes, did you love rini in season one and ended up not liking them as much afterwards? did the same happen in season two with portwell? yes? that’s what i thought. and honestly, there is no shame in that, because that happened to me too.
i think what is so good about rina is that, unlike all the other hsmtmts ships, it’s taking its sweet fuckin’ time. and honestly? i will eat it the fuck up. it’s cool, it’s realistic, and it’s engaging. it’s cooler because i didn’t expect it to go anywhere at first, because they just looked like yet another plot device to create drama between the main ship, and then here we are, with ricky being canonly jealous over gina and ej in the last episode. rina is made of small hints even now that it’s (hopefully) on its way to become canon, it’s made of moments that come around the main story, it isn’t the main focus like rini was, and it’s beautiful. you don’t feel forced to ship it nor like it when watching it, it comes naturally with time, whether earlier on or later on, because the puzzle pieces come together and you don’t even realize how much you like them together until one moment it kind of just hits you.
nothing feels exaggerated or forced, things just naturally fall into place with them. honestly, i doubt the writers did it on purpose, because if so then why not do the same with the other ships, but kudos to them nonetheless because i can’t help but love this pair. i just hope they don’t do me wrong somehow in the rest of the show.

Kanato Sakamaki headcanons I've been having for a while now
TW: NSFW, VIOLENCE (Uh... I forgot the others, but you've been warned.)
He has prob dressed as a girl a few times, and the reason behind them would be: eating in a sweets buffet, attracting a beautiful man for his doll collection, or luring a girl (reasons may vary but yeah it would all be for his own selfishness)
His speech manner is due to the fact that he is a prince (I tend to forget this at times). So yeah, there are times in HDB where he criticizes Yui/player for their lack of vocabulary.
I believe one of the reasons he and Ayato constantly argue is the fact that they both inherited Cordelia's looks. You might think Laito is Ayato's twin, but if you look closely, Kanato's physical appearance is just the softer and purple version of Ayato (especially when you remove Kanato's eyebags)
So basically Ayato is like staring at a male version of Cordelia and every time he sees Kanato, it's like "Ah, I am seeing the old hag again" (but we all know Ayato likes to prank him hence why they always bicker)
Kanato can tie a cherry stem, and he's the first one to learn about it among the triplets. I bet he learned it on his own and he's like: "Look, Ayato, Laito! I can tie a cherry knot!" he's prob innocent about cherry knots at that time and yes Laito followed suit while Ayato was struggling to tie one.
He is probably an honor student in the demon world. For starters, the education system in the demon world is prob different from the human world. That could possibly be another reason Kanato finds studying in the human world so boring.
Just like Shuu, he knows Latin and other languages. The spell he chanted when summoning familiars is Italian tho.
He is prob the first person Ayato talked to about his hatred of Cordelia. There's this one scene in Laito's MB manga where Ayato told Laito that he hates Cordelia and even Kanato hates her too.
The drama club in Ryoutei Academy always tries to recruit Kanato because of his voice (he rejects them every single time)
Kanato has his fair share of fangirls, but they are all discreet. Like they don't make it obvious they like him, but yeah Kanato receives sweets and love letters from them despite being this creepy pastel goth kid who secludes himself in one corner
I bet his character growth in Chaos Lineage made him open to the possibility of getting closer again to Ayato and Laito (and even his other bros)
He has prob flirted with one of the palace maids back in the demon world. Given how he can be closed off and needy at the same time, he probably engaged in a secret relationship (and I think it didn't last and it was just harmless flirting since he is a prince so yeah the maid didn't turn into a doll).
He and Ayato never go shopping together unless Laito is there and it could be because Laito balances them. Because for one, you can't make Ayato go inside a store that screams pink and stuff toys. Second, Kanato would definitely not enjoy Ayato's fun like those intense playground shops. Though I think both of them can be in an arcade.
Kanato is prob an advocate of recycling and clean and green thingy projects something. You might not think he's not, but he is. It's quite implied in one of the drama CDs and on the live drama reading with his and Ayato's VA (and yes, this could also mean Ayato advocates the same thing even tho it's freakin' troublesome)
Kanato can eat other foods as long as it's not spicy or something akin similar to a salad. There's this one drama CD with Ayato where he was eating lamb. Then another drama CD with Shuu and Subaru where he ate the soup the MC cooked. The last one would be the live drama reading where he and Ayato were grilling corn at the back of the school building.
If he wanted to date someone, it would prob be a girl from a different school cause it would raise suspicion if he chooses someone from Ryoutei and they all start to go missing one by one
Kanato, and even his other brothers, were forced to learn swordplay. Ofc he ain't an expert, though I think he finds himself better with knives
The only time he makes fun of Laito is either when there are insects in the place or when they're riding a rollercoaster
I bet his signature perfume would either be MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold or Montale Chocolate Greedy. Using them depends on the occasion.
He doesn't carry Teddy around in formal events as per Karlheinz's order. Cause if he does, he'll have to follow Shu to the North Pole
Even tho his aesthetic attire is different from Ayato and Laito, the triplets ensure that their clothes would complement each other. Think of them as the male version of Ozai Angels (ATLA reference)

Yep, folklore being an overthinking girlie makes so much sense to me! Another iconic Virgo Moon album I enjoy is Olivia Rodrigo's Sour and I definitely see this sort of rumination in her more acoustic songs. Talking about moon signs, I find Leo Moon albums quite a mixed bag (ditto with releases that have an earth absent birth chart). Personally I find the Leo Moon (in music releases e.g. The Good Witch) a bit too over the top for me to emotionally relate to as a whole.

okay rant post.
when i realize i have the objectively best music taste and aestehtic visuals for hbo spn even though im two years late, its worth it. man ive seen some playlists and “aesthetic” images for “hbo” spn with lots of likes and reposts and im thinking like. these images are grainy and not even the same filter or really dont make sense. the playlists are the worst. literally theyll be like “because hbo spn is grimey and punk” and then the first song is olivia rodrigo. just smash my head with a brick please.. like none of the songs make sense. theres like fucking billie eyelash and mother mother on so many playlists…… do we even watch the same show…. hbo spn is literally the first 5 season aesthetics, just these raw contrasted close scenes of random cryptic objects and symbolism. the music is the first season and how they had a bunch of underground 2000s metal like so underground you cant even find most of it on spotify and if so they have like less than 100 monthly listeners. LITERALLY THE SHIFTER EP. hbo spn still gotta be strictly pre-2005 songs as much as possible. theres a few songs i have in mind that are more modern that i might just try to slip in if i dont go until their year. shhh its my universe. Someone Else’s Bed by Hole actually came out in 5 years before the release date because i needed it to. in this alternate universe dean lives up to this scary accurate song that definitely came out 2002. didnt come out 2010. what are you talking about.
and the fact that ive only JUST now found one other person who agrees that they cant be SUPER body modded because… theyre fucking fugitives for gods sake. their fits in the og show are actually genius bc they look like the most basic white men ever. hbo spn just needs a little flair and unique-ness. they can still go out in public wearing jackets to cover up tattoos or dress up as feds and put on makeup to cover up scars and a few stray accidentally badly placed tattoos you know. and when their not hunting or doing something where they could get caught, hell, give them some punk jackets with patches galore. they still dye their hair but not crazy colors, or maybe they do like what if sam gets arrest and they put out an warrant for someone with bleach blonde hair but also have another warrant for sam with black hair at the same time, okay, easy, go green for a while or something. idk.
