Summary: Wanda and Y/N Are dating but it's on the low right now because it was still new for them and that was fine until Pietro gets a little flirty with Y/N and Wanda get very jealous and becomes somewhat possessive.

Story:

You and the crew were just hanging at the compound today having a fun day in because of all the crazy that had been going ok lately, you all decided you needed a break.

You guys spend the day eating and just having fun in each others presence and it was going fine up until Pietro had walked up to you.

"Hey Y/N, how you doing?" Pietro had asked with a slight smirk and you could tell he was attempting to flirt with you so you mindlessly replied to the boy "hi Pietro, no much you?" You said still looking down in front of you.

"A whole lot better now, I wonder why" Pietro said and you know looked up to him to see him smirking while this interaction was happening you managing to hear a scoff.

Turning around you say it was coming from Wanda your girlfriend, you and her had been dating for sometime bit keep the whole ordeal quite low key.

The reason for doing so it because you wanted to just be with each other and no have everyone else in the relationship.

Doing this came with risk and in the past you had been jealous of Vision and while Wanda told you there was nothing to worry about you believed her but had your reservations.

This happened to be one of those risky moments and it was even worse because it was Wanda's twin brother, this was not good.

You could see Wanda's eyes starting to glow and your eyes immediately widened before turning back to Pietro "would you excuse me for a moment?" you asked him and he nodded before you walked up to Wanda.

"Come with me please" you asked nicely placing a hand on her arm which seemed to get her to call down before you wanted Wanda back to her room wanting her to just cool down.

"Are you alright babe" you asked setting Wanda down on her bed kneeling before her and though she nodded she further explained.

"I did not like what my brother was doing, I don't understand what is this feeling, I've never felt it before" Wanda said to you and you had chuckled realising that she was jealous.

"It's called jealously babe, it's cute but you have nothing to worry about, I like you and have no feeling for him what so ever" you explained leaning forward giving her a quick peck on the lips.

Once you pulled away she brought you into her embrace holding you close not liking being away from you for so long, your cuddles were her favorite thing it the world.

"How about we go back out there yeah" you proposed and Wanda nodded pulling away from your embrace before you both walked back out there returning to you conversations.

Unfortunately Pietro had come back and even though you told Wanda she had nothing to worry about you could see the jealously returning to her eyes.

"So Y/N, I was wondering if I could ask you a question" Pietro asked his smirk widening causing you to awkwardly laugh and nod allowing him to continue.

"Well I was wondering if you wanted to - " "NO" Pietro started only to be interrupted but Wanda shouting in a jealous rage.

This had managed to grab everyone's attention and you looked back to see Wanda's eyes glowing red making her way to you and her twin brother.

"No what" Pietro asked sizing up to his sister to seem like a man but Wanda did not stand down "No you can not ask Y/N out" Wanda said still holding her ground.

You were sitting near them watching in slight embarrassment while the other Avengers acted like they were watching a movie.

"And why is that" Pietro further question cause Wanda to get angrier and you know you need to diffuse the situation some how.

"Because we're dating and I'm in love with you" you said eyes widening as you did this being the first time you said it.

Everybody else's eye went wide but mainly Wanda's and Pietro's and while Pietro's were in embarrassment now Wanda's were in awe.

"You love me?" Wanda asked and you nervously chucked "of course I do, who wouldn't" you said causing the avengers to awe.

Wanda then walked forward pulling you into a passionate kiss allowing all the pent up jealously to be put into that kiss.

Once you both pulled away Wanda looked in your eyes "I love you too" She said and everyone awed before Wanda pulled you into her embrace.

Even though there were some rocking moment let was an amazing weekend for you to neither of you could deny that.

Hiiiii, so I've been out of comics fandom for the last like half a year due to irl stuff and now I want to get back in! Have there been any nice Tony and Steve/Tony comics that I need to catch up on? 😊

Hi there! I'm too lazy to look up the exact dates of when comics came out, so here are some that are recent and nice to read.

Captain America/Iron Man (2021) -- on the off chance you missed it.

Iron Cat (2022) -- Tony is not really central, but he has nice moments.

A.X.E.: Judgment Day (2022) and the Tony-centric tie-in A.X.E.: Avengers #1 -- This event was great, with a good plot and excellent art. Tony and Steve both have important roles here. Tony is written mostly in character, and I enjoyed it, but there were some moments in the tie-in issue where the narrative says things about his past and his personality that are straight-up wrong. I forgive the writer, though, because he didn't butcher Tony. Silver linings.

Iron Man (2020) #25 -- last Cantwell issue, which in itself is a win, but there are also two additional short stories that are decent.

If you have Marvel Unlimited, check out these series as well:

Avengers Unlimited Infinity Comic (2022) #1-- has a very good stony moment.

Avengers Unlimited Infinity Comic (2022) #9-13 -- centred on Tony, Rhodey, and Riri, but has a nice Steve cameo.

T.E.S.T. Kitchen Infinity Comic (2022) -- About a young chef who gets employed by Tony and the recipes she makes. Has a whole lot of domestic Avengers, from what I've seen it's very cute.

There are more issues of Avengers Unlimited Infinity Comic with Tony in them, #17 for example, but since I don't have access to infinity comics I can't tell you about them :(

There is a run that just started, called Secret Invasion (2022), where Tony will be one of the main characters. I trust it to be good since it's written by Ryan North.

You can also read Avengers Forever (2021), one of the protagonists is Tony Stark from Earth-818. He’s a little pathetic and sad but I like him.

As for Steve-centric comics, the current Captain America run is nice, with great art: Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty (2022).

Ayaka and Sara met this way each week, a dance of skin to skin that could enliven even the most noble of soldiers.

They had met beneath the first blush of dawn, looks of amiable greeting hardening to ones of undeterred focus. The Kamisato Estate was peaceful at this hour, quiet enough still for the crickets chirrup to mask their very footsteps, Ayaka’s whisper resounding off the bracketing walls of the courtyard.

“Don’t go easy on me.” She looked to Sara with stern determination, brow raising when the general smiled, an imperceptible little thing.

“Certainly, Lady Kamisato.”

It was the agreement— the sharp nods of their heads— that signaled the beginning of their match. Hands free of weapons and dressed down to their training-wear, they clashed like this weekly, throaty sounds of exertion proceeding timed blows and expert dodges.

It was almost a dance of sorts, the kind Ayaka often waxed poetic about; Sara stepped forward, Ayaka stepped back, the ebb and flow endless, eyes open and earnest, their heavy footfall the percussion for such a boundless waltz.

Sara favored training this way, feeling the very pull of her own muscles and the stretch of skin over bone, colliding with Ayaka’s warm front. The shorter woman had grown bold after their last clandestine meeting, swinging her leg up towards Sara’s jugular, gasp pitched high when the general blocked it swiftly. She landed back on two feet, grounding with a huff.

“Your movements speak well to your thoughts,” Sara spoke, voice rasping though she was barely winded, eyes trailing down to the glistening slope of Ayaka’s neck. The skin there was thrumming, obvious under tenuous sunlight. “You calculate my moves far too plainly.”

“Is that not the proper strategy when engaging in combat?” They circled each other now, eyes locked and roving.

“It is easy to use such anticipation against you—” Ayaka struck again, this time with the meat of her palm, and Sara ducked. “Clever, again.”

A jab to the side, two swift fists to the chest, over and over; the whirr of air in her ears after each sidestep and dodge was enlivening, enough for Sara to orbit closer, ready for another and another. On Ayaka’s fifth attempt, Sara’s heart was lurching, something impervious gripping her when she wrapped sure fingers around a slender wrist and tugged.

The shorter woman spun with the maneuver, falling to her knees with a grunt. Her back was flush with Sara’s front when they toppled, ruddy cheek pressed to the tatami. A knee was at the valley of Ayaka’s back before Sara could think with clarity. She slipped a hand into tresses of ice and drilled her kneecap harder, bearing further, foot twisting on the mat for leverage when Ayaka arched back and her red dusted shoulders began to tremble.

Ayaka cursed, wet and cacophonous to the floor, the fingers of her free hand splayed and bracing. Heat twined its searching arms around Sara’s heart at the sound, tugging until it thundered somewhere much deeper. Her own gasps wavered, wheezing past her lips when sweat and earthy clove shrouded them both, choking her silent.

Somewhere through that sudden haze, she heard the throaty gasp of her name, the sound so breathless that it bordered on wanton, and Sara snapped to attention. She leaned back, releasing Ayaka’s hand swiftly, eyes watering at her own candor.

“My apologies, Lady Kamisato, I—” The general clenched her hands into fists, fighting the urge to wring her own wrists, lips falling open when Ayaka rolled over.

Her chest stuttered and her bangs were askew, plastered to her forehead with sweat, dark crimson aglow atop the high swell of her cheeks. She was glorious, sunlight slanting across her sheened front; such fervent eyes spearheading up from between Sara’s exposed thighs, a sight that beseeched appreciation.

“Madam Kujou…”

Without words they stared, awestruck in the wake of novel closeness. Sara marveled at Ayaka’s wrecked expression, the way her inclination towards propriety had crumbled so readily, the notion heady, intoxicating, dizzying… too much.

She stood this time, heart in her throat, sun at her back. “I should see to my responsibilities.”

Ayaka sat up at her lackluster words, hand outstretched where she beckoned an aid. Sara’s nose brushed her forehead when she was finally upright.

“Are you sure?” Never had Ayaka uttered such an allusive question— gray eyes mired to the pink moue of the general’s lips— and never had Sara backed down from a challenge so quickly.

“I’ll see myself out.”

Her voice withered when she backed away, the final call of her name left unheard; she ambled beneath the lightless canopy of Chinju forest, mind buzzing. It was hours before she was needed back at the compound, but she fled from the tendrils of her own blunder, pausing stock still at the center of Byakko Plain when the resound of Ayaka’s voice struck once more.

Sara slapped at her pinkened cheeks with clenched shut eyes, agog at the indescribable the feel, at the overwhelm of yearnsome revelation.

Writing practice, minimal editing, etc. I don't know where this came from. I know nothing about Batman comics. I love Jason Todd specifically because of some crossover Marvel fics (thanks so much for that, he now lives in my head rent free). I don't know where this is going, either. Enjoy!

"Batman won't like this," Dick said.

Jason hefted the unconscious guy over his shoulder in a fireman's carry, staggering a little under his weight. Fuck, this guy weighed a ton. Did he have rocks in his pockets or what? "Batman doesn't like anything," he said, shifting the guy a little to the left. He definitely had knives in his belt, along with the maybe-rocks in his pockets. "What he doesn't know won't hurt him," he added, eyeing Dick meaningfully. 

"Yeah, okay," Dick said. "But you know he's going to find out somehow."

"Not if little birdies can keep their goddamn mouths shut," Jason said. He turned his back on Dick and started jogging out of the warehouse. "Better get going," he called over his shoulder. "I rigged this whole place to blow in," he mimed checking his watch, "thirty seconds, give or take."

"Dammit, Jason!" 

But Dick heeded his warning, and was gone by the time Jason reached the door and turned to look. He shouldered the door open, silently apologizing to the heaviest assassin in the world as his head knocked into the door frame. Seriously, so many rocks.

He managed to make it across the street to where his car was parked before the building went up in flames. He dumped the guy in the backseat and hopped into the driver's seat, peeling out before the secondary explosions started.

Five minutes later, the guy was awake and holding a knife to his throat in one swift move. Their eyes met in the rear view mirror. Above the mask, his eyes were cold, blue like deep sea ice. 

"Yeah, no," Jason said, stomping on the brakes. He turned and punched the guy in the head, using his forward momentum against him. The guy's eyes widened before rolling back in his head as he slumped into the backseat again.

They narrowly escaped getting rear ended by a garbage truck. It swerved around them, horn blaring, and Jason stuck his middle finger out the window as he accelerated again. Clearly he didn't have time to take the long way home.

Home wasn't his real destination anyway, What, like he was going to bring Mr. Stab-First-Ask-Questions-Later to his apartment? Hell no, the dingy squat he kept for sketchy business meetings and late night strategy sessions would do just fine. There was a cot in the corner and even a bathroom with a working shower. Practically luxurious.

He parked in the back, dragging the guy out of the backseat and back over his shoulders. The elevator was out, of course - he wasn't sure it had ever worked, to be honest - so he was sweating and cursing by the time he hit the fifth floor. 

The studio was small and gray, with one high narrow window running the length of the wall with the tiny kitchenette. It was just a sink and a mini fridge with beer. Tucked away in the cabinet were basic medical supplies and emergency whiskey. Dumping the guy on the floor, he stretched out his back and got himself a glass of water. He drank it leaning against the desk. Besides the cot and three chairs, it was the only other piece of furniture in the room.

"Okay." He set down the empty glass and squatted next to his mystery guest. "Let's see what you've got."

What he had was nothing. Nothing useful, anyway. Nothing in his pockets, not even rocks. Couple of guns, a truly beautiful collection of knives, various other fun assassin tools. But no ID, nothing that could identify him at all. Jason unclipped the mask and studied the guy's face. Cheekbones to die for, two-day old stubble, and - blue eyes. Oh shit.

Casually, Jason stood and stepped back, out of reach. "Hi," he said. He was kind of wishing he'd thought to take all the knives, given the scowl on the guy's face.

Wincing, the guy sat up and touched his temple, where Jason had punched him. He stood, slowly, arms held loose at his sides. He was wearing all black - boots, pants, and some kind of strappy leather nightmare around his torso over a long-sleeved black shirt. Black leather gloves, even. His hair was long, and he shook it out of his face as he glared at Jason. 

"Where the hell are we?" 

Jason could tell the guy was casing the place out of his peripheral vision, but was wisely keeping his attention mostly on Jason. Well, he was the most dangerous bastard in the room.

Then he took off his gloves, casually, and Jason saw the shining metal of his left hand.

Make that second dangerous. "Oh hell," Jason said. "You're the Winter Soldier."

The Winter Soldier crossed his arms. "Not any more," he said darkly. Then, in an accusing tone, he said, "You're Red Hood."

"Yeah, no shit, congrats." Jason gave him a lazy two fingered salute. "You figured it out."

!!spoilers of multiverse of madness ahead!!

my thoughts on multiverse of madness bc i’ve been thinking about it since i got out of the theater 5 hours ago.

first i wanna talk about how i personally felt about the movie to give a some of my own perspective into it. i’m going to start off with the fact that i really like this movie. it’s gotta be in my top 3 as far as mcu fims go, definitely not number 1, but it’s fighting for a place as my second favorite. i loved the horror aspects of it and how it was darker than most marvel movies thus far. it’s a stand out that i like and enjoy because of my love for horror and gore.

now, i know this movie has it’s faults. the first i’m gonna touch on is the multiverse. i think it was a cop out for marvel to advertise this movie about the multiverse with a plot that supposedly surrounded how it works, and then only show us like 2 universes. i know there was like 4 main universes that we got to see, but 2 of them are only there for a few minutes: the one america chavez escapes from in the opening scene, and the one where we meet the dark dr. strange at the end. i would have loved to see more universes, especially since its called “multiverse of madness.” it’s a cop out and i think a lot of it has to do with time but i think they spent way too long in the Illuminati universe, i think it would have been better if they had just added some more before that ya know?

the second big flaw of this movie, in my opinion, is stephen’s character growth- or lack thereof. i was expected him to change a little more, especially because the first dr strange movie involves him changing so much. i also know that christine is incredibly important to his character and his origin as a hero but its also something that i could go without. yes i get that he loves her and that he really didn’t get a chance to get over her romantically before getting thrown into his position and then getting blipped for 5 years. realistically it’s probably been about a year or two for him since they’ve broken up, and i think it’s a little unrealistic for him to still be completely head over heals in love with her. the moment he has with 818 (? i don’t remember exactly with universe she was) christine is sweet but it doesn’t really give their relationship the closure i think it deserves. stephen telling her he loves her in every universe is sweet but it shows his lack of growth because it doesn’t feel like he’s saying that in a way that means he’s over her. he says it like he still hasn’t moved on yet. i hope they show him moving on in the next movie with clea, the sorcerer he meets in the post credit scene. if you know her character at all from the comics then you know they basically end up falling in love and getting married.

there’s a lot of other small details about the movie that i just don’t like and have seen other complain about, like some of the effects or how gory or scary it was or even how some of the comedy fell flat. all of which i agree with, but one of the things i wanna touch on is the hate the movie is getting just because wanda is portrayed as a villain.

i’ve seen a lot of stuff about how everything wanda has done in the movie is out of character or cruel, and while i agree it’s cruel this shouldn’t have come as a surprise. in wandavision we see the first glimpses of her falling apart. she’s grieving and she’s not mentally well. i honestly think most of this could have been prevented if wanda had a therapist or even just a friend, but she was left alone. she spent a good while by herself alone with her thoughts, allowing all of this evil to fester. of course she’s going to make very bad decisions. she wasn’t thinking clearly, and it wasn’t out of character. wanda has been shown throughout the series to be a little emotionally unstable. she’s also shown to care deeply about her family, and she finally had a taste of something good. then it was ripped out of her hands and she was left with nothing, and someone who has nothing will do anything to have something. she was desperate and alone and grieving and the book of darkhold did not help her. wanda was fully capable of doing this without the help of the book of darkhold, but she didn’t because she is inherently good, but as explained that book takes over the mind of the user. so it’s not surprise that wanda ended up doing what she did.

i’ve seen a lot of people bashing the movie because they didn’t like how wanda was portrayed, and i get it. i love wanda, but this wasn’t unexpected or not in line with her character or whatever. it was honestly something i assumed when i heard she was gonna be in the movie, especially because of that last scene in wandavision of her reading the book of darkhold.

i also want to say, i don’t think wanda is dead.

in the comics, if i remember correctly, she traps herself in a sort of jail/prison realm so this doesn’t happen again. so i don’t think she’s dead, but who knows the mcu is crazy and i am never 100% certain about what they’re gonna do next so, who know.

i’m gonna end this whole rant off with something positive which is america chavez. i love her character, i love that she’s queer, i love that she has 2 (count ‘em TWO!) moms. it’s very heartwarming to see on screen, especially in disney movies and i can’t wait to see more of her in the future, especially because i think they’re setting up the young avengers, i mean seriously we’ve got america chavez, wiccan (though only kind of), and kate bishop already.
