"Is Etho's Lab Autistic?" - the greatest thread in the history of MCYTblr, locked by a moderator after 12,239 pages of heated debate,

NOT INTENDED to be a diagnostic resource or an "accusation/truthing" of Etho being autistic, but rather comparing autistic criterion as printed in the DSM-5 with various clips and common autistic experiences, since he has many autistic fans who relate to him. Also because it's a little funny and it's always fun to see more Etho clips. Some of these clips may overlap categories.

A: Persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction.

Unaware of social conventions or context; makes socially inappropriate comments (especially to strangers)

i had a thought about the orv au

the entire thing of orv is that every story has power, with enough people telling the story it becomes real, and with a huge amount of beings talking about the story then the story itself gains life

so the orv au doesnt have to be modern, it doesnt even have to be on earth, the story is the server so the server is real, headcanons of the watchers/audience/constellations hold power so the evo grian and hermitcraft grian are the same, the hermits switch world every season and they remember all of it then that's canon, thats real

the only thing that starstream might not like is the relative immortality what with respawns but they let reincarnation island continue on so like its fine probably

mcc connects a lot of worlds as an event, wilbur and tommy came in the revolutionary outfit that one time, iirc it was an mcc win that made 3rd life ren into the red king, cleo the time witch knows a Lot

I enjoy that all the lores from season 8 are coexisting because on one hand you have cleo:

Resident enderman gorgon zombie who was absolutely trapped in the end after season 8 and just got out by falling onto the season 9 world

And ren:

Local dogboy that has been adopted by a corporation and knows for a FACT that season 8 wasn't real and was a false reality made by the hermatrix

I want a bit where the two of them sit across from each other and explain their situations in increasingly condescending tones

So if youre correlating TMA and HC, what fear do each of the hermits serve? I'm guessing Mumbo serves the stranger and Grian the beholding but the others are hard.

not everyone has been assigned, but here are some of the people who have been!! (loosely. to me. people are allowed to have other thoughts on assignments/do whatever they want. these are just my opinions)

also not all of these are hermits. some are LL people but they're also allowed <3

Scar - The End / The Vast all his deaths? cmon. mans is DEFO end correlated. probably a bit Vast touched too with the Boatem Hole as his close friend.

Grian - The Eye / The Slaughter as the Archivist he's associated with the Eye, but like how Jon was touched by the Web early on, Grian was always connected with the Slaughter (cough cough most player kills on Hermitcraft by far)

Joe Hills - The Stranger / but also he's literally Jurgen Leitner joe is the equivalent of leitner in AU. he has funky books, oh no. they got everywhere. oh fuck.

Mumbo - The Flesh all that stuff abt his whack ass biology in S8?? DEFO flesh vibes. @/kishdoodles made an AWESOME fic abt this already.

Ren - The Dark his whole "Shadow Alliance" bit in LL is SOOOOO dark vibes. i imagine it's almost like a replacement for the People's Church of the Divine Host.

Tango - The Desolation i mean. cmon. we've all seen this man's videos.

TFC - The Buried he strip mined so deep that he created his own buried domain. even The Buried is impressed.

Xisuma - The Eye head of the V.O.I.D. Institute (stands for "Visionary Organization for Incident Documentation"), overseer of everything. Evil X is our Jonah Magnus equivalent as well.

Cleo - The Stranger her armor stand statues are defo real people.

Joel - The Hunt probably the main antagonist in the LL/Hunt Ritual.

Thinking about Ren and False coming back from that MCC after being teamed with Tommy and Ranboo. At the meeting, Ren brings it up. He’s like “dudes, something is wrong over in Dream SMP” and someone’s like “I mean yeah, we’ve heard that that place is a little strange” and False interjects “no, something’s wrong.”

Not going anywhere specific with this, just thinking vague thoughts about how that meeting would go. I just imagine some of the hermits arguing about what they should do, or if they should do anything at all. If it’s something they can afford to get tied into.

I just imagine Scar sitting at the meeting table. I imagine he’s got this expression on his face, his brow is furrowed and he hasn’t said much yet. He looks very worried, a bit apprehensive, but still very much concerned. He looks like he’s thinking real hard.

Does this make any sense? I’m not sure if it does. I am rotating your AU around in my brain.

No no this makes perfect sense -- it’s a really good snippet of how I’d imagine it would go! It’d be a pretty long meeting because a lot of hermits are ah, kind of isolationist? Like it’s not that they don’t care - they do, it sucks that the Dream SMP is fucked up - but like, it’s not really their business is it? While a lot of the others are very distraught about the prospect of child soldiers on another server, to the point where logic is obfuscated for them.

Xisuma is squarely on team Do Not Get Involved At All - again, apologetically, but when he thinks about it all he can see is what a mess would become. Hermitcraft’s name would become associated with a forceful invasion or something and while reputation isn’t everything he quite likes not having to deal with the ramification of a bad one. Impulse and Tango are also hesitant but more so because it’s unclear how they’d even be helping. Etho agrees with them as well.

Ren and False would be the biggest proponents of doing something I think. It’s hard to shake the way Tommy was casually rambling on about war - a real one, where people died in a way they just don’t on Hermitcraft - and the way Ranboo seemed ready to pass out at every sudden noise. Stress agrees with almost as much passion.

Grian feels that it’s the right thing to do to get involved but boy is he not thrilled about it. Cleo and Beef are frustrated but concerned Hermit involvement might just make things worse. Joe’s just listening.

Forming a formal relationship with the Dream SMP is absolutely perfect: it gives them an in, while also giving them an out. Everyone’s happy.

On the last few days of season 7, some of their members vanish. And some of them can be expected-Etho visits his home server regularly and Scar likes to leave to see other servers natural beauty, ideas for his terraforming.

It wouldn’t be too weird if they left, for ideas or to tie up loose ends before they got into the hectic life that was the start of a new season. But it’s not just them.

Zedaph swears up and down that Impulse and Tango didn’t tell him they were going anywhere. Grian was supposed to help Mumbo with packing, and Mumbo seems oddly insistent that he isn’t just messing with him when he never shows up. And Beef and Cub both insist that Etho and Scar hadn’t even hinted they were planning to leave this week. Doc had been helping Bdubs pack, and they weren’t even close to done, so why would he just leave? Ren had just told Xisuma he had to stay in the server for a bit to deal with ‘the renpire’. The real alarming thing is when Joe freaks out, because he doesn’t know where Cleo is.

Their friends have vanished seemingly overnight.

Xisuma writes to Pearl and Gemini to say that Season 8 is being delayed, and they say they understand-they don’t say someone they know has gone missing and they’re looking for them. But it seems as though Jimmy and Martyn and big b never existed.

MCC is cancelled for some reason, not that any of the Hermit’s know or care.

Two and a half months later, they all reappear.

They don’t tell them what happened and seem oh so happy to pretend they never even left the server-and the others learn very quick not to push. Things are tense between certain members, but only for a few seconds; quick glances and stares that linger and large spaces between them and putting yourself between your friend and the other third lifer.

Season 8 happens, and it’s a fresh start. Impulse chooses to live next to Scar, a move that seems to surprise everyone who went missing. Scar and Grian spend more and more time together. Etho is shutting himself away more, but he’s trying to be more social again. A new MCC starts up.

Things aren’t-not better. But. Getting there. Bdubs and Impulse can have a conversation. Scar can look Ren in the eyes. Grian’s nightmares aren’t as frequent.

Then the hermits go missing again. This time it’s even more of them.

A favorite trope of mine has always been- getting to see another person’s past. Is it some kind of judgment thing by a higher power? Something like Freeze Day from SCTFOE? Person trapped in a nightmare and their nightmare is being projected? Who knows. All that’s important is after months of healing, some of the Hermits get to see exactly what Tommy went through. It shows short clips of him before being happy, the rise and fall of Manburg, Wilbur going insane, the festival, the withers, all of it. Just short clips of these things though. The last clip of the SMP is just Dream’s mask outlined by his green hood saying, “you’ll stay here alone with just me until you learn to be quite and respectful and not fight those who are in power over you. Even if you have to stay out here *forever*.”

This turned into a whole drabble smh xD

The remaining hermits aren’t sure what happened. They have no way of knowing. There was a witch involved, Cub thinks, but what their fallen friends must have done to piss her off to the point of getting cursed is beyond their ken. Among those laid out are Cleo, Grian, Xisuma, Zedaph, and Tommy.

Scar and Cub work their Vex magic together to figure out that their friends are trapped in their worst memories. (Etho calls it a Demonic Hell Viewing Illusion, and False smacks him upside the head for the Naruto reference.) Holding hands with a victim pulls you in, but that’s what they’re counting on. Joe’s already wading through Cleo’s nightmare before anyone gets the chance to ask, and Impulse and Tango aren’t far behind doing the same for Zedaph. However, it doesn’t work for Grian, Xisuma, and Tommy; they were found already holding hands. They must have figured something out about the curse before they succumbed to it. All the hermits can do for them, for the time being, is hope.

Tommy, Grian, and Xisuma wake to the smell of sulphur and smoke. The ground is orange and littered with bullets. Grian grabs Tommy’s hand, and Xisuma grabs a discarded rifle. Tommy points his finger up at the top of a mound of scrap metal and dead bodies. There’s a nether portal, except the obsidian is whiter than quartz. That's where they have to go to get out of here.

All around them, demons lurch and shriek and hiss and all sorts of unholy behavior, bodily flinging themselves at the trio as though they know none of them can take the men on their own, and that just by dogpiling them all one of them will get lucky. Xisuma instantly snaps into a professional mode, the way he sometimes does when he's killing zombies but they keep social spawning. He takes up the lead with machine gun fire and grenades, carving a path through the crowd. Grian takes up the rear with a handgun. Neither Xisuma nor Tommy ask why Grian is so comfortable with a gun. They've got more pressing issues.

An imp gets lucky. It's just enough to crack the visor of Xisuma's helmet, and the imp instantly gets mowed down.

"I can't see," Xisuma rasps through gritted teeth.

"Then take the helmet off," Tommy says, cleaving through an enemy with a sharp piece of scrap metal. Grian breathes in sharply. As far as Grian's aware, Xisuma always wears his helmet.

Xisuma goes quiet for a second. "I suppose you've got a point."

The helmet gets dropped to the ground and demon limbs shuffle it away. They don't have time to look at Xisuma's wild brown hair, his purple eyes, the burn scars on his jaw.

They make it to the portal all in one piece. Xisuma takes one last wistful look at the Martian hellscape, then takes his friends' hands. They step through the portal together.

They step out of the portal into the foyer of a high school. Grian's eyes shutter.

"We'll be headed toward the roof, I believe," he says, staring dully through the spectre of a broken, bloody man holding a rope.

Tommy latches onto Grian's clammy hand to ground him as the three ascend stairs and traverse the dark, winding hallways. The ghost follows them. It isn't like Ghostbur-- it's, well, not vengeful, but it's not kind. The man named Gareth keens about Grian's sins, about a boy named Taurtis who Gareth hates, about mafia and yakuza, about his poor wife Jane.

On the last set of stairs, Gareth makes a wailing remark that causes Grian to bodily flinch. Tommy doesn't even know what the ghost said (he wasn't listening).

"Fuck off," Tommy says, "you're the shittest ghost I've ever met. Even my brother could..."

He trails off. This is not the way to fix things for Grian. On a hunch, he reaches into his pocket. Of course the object he's looking for is in there; it's his brother's coat.

He holds the object out to the ghost. "Have some blue."

Gareth warily takes it, dropping his rope. It floods periwinkle, then cyan, then dark royal blue. A weight seems lifted from the ghost's shoulders as he clutches the blue, mutters something about Jane, and leaves.

Tommy takes Grian's hand, then Xisuma's, and they go through the door to the school's rooftop together. They halt as one. The portal is there. Standing between them is a boy maybe Tommy's age, with a corpse at his feet.

"Sam," Grian whispers. "Taurtis."

The standing boy smiles, eyes obscured by a purple mask with a rectangular symbol on it, and flexes bloody wings. The corpse on the ground has blood all over its back, where wings once were, and broken headphones around his neck.

"Man, Grian, you really held out on me," Sam says. "This Watcher power really is something else--"

Sam topples over backward. His body hits the ground in front of the portal. Xisuma lowers his gun.

"He looked like bad news," Xisuma says.

Grian grimaces. "He was. Come on, let's go."

They once again step into the portal.

“Do you want to be a hero, Tommy?” Technoblade roars, “Then die like one!”

Their paltry little group of three gets no chance to take in their surroundings, to see what’s going on and where they need to go. All they can process is the legendary PvP champion, acolyte of the Blood God, Technoblade, unleashing Withers upon what once might have been a town.

Tommy yanks them into cover. “I don’t know where the portal is,” he hisses.

Grian squeezes his shoulder. “We’ll find it.”

Explosions rain hellfire down upon them from all angles-- not just the Withers, but TNT buried in the ground. They’re so close, they can see the man who set it off. And he must have, because he’s yelling about it, yelling about his L’Manberg and his unfinished symphony and begging his father to kill him. He’s wearing Tommy’s coat--

Bile rises in the back of Grian’s throat. Tommy wears his brother’s coat.

Tommy’s eyes are glued to the gleaming diamond sword that Wilbur gives to his father. He watches his brother die all over again, and he knows where he must go. He turns his back on his broken family and breathes.

“We need to go to the Nether,” he says. They nod.

The black portal is across the battlefield. They come across corpses more than once on their way, but ignore them. They can’t afford not to.

In the Nether, there is a rickety, dangerous pathway with no rails, made of cobblestone and obsidian and oak logs. Manic-depressive ravings on signs proclaim the path as the road to Logstedshire. Piglins try to knock them off to no avail, and ghasts blow up the bridge behind them as they run. On the other side of the Logstedshire portal is... actually not a hellscape, as Grian and Xisuma have come to expect, but a little village encampment. Nothing is blown up, nothing is amiss, except Tommy himself. And, of course, the figure they spot after they catch Tommy staring at it.

It’s Dream. The up-and-coming famous speedrunner who Grian faintly recalls killing once in MCC, which was apparently a big deal. The man approaches, and Grian realizes where he recognizes the mask from. It’s the same one that Tommy wears.

“Tommy,” Dream says conversationally, “items in the pit.”

Tommy’s hand wavers, reaches up to unclasp his chestplate, but Xisuma’s hand on his shoulder stops him.

“No,” Tommy says.

“No?” Dream parrots incredulously. “You know the rules. It’s for your own good. Armor in the pit. Tools in the pit. Friends in the pit.”

They all gasp, though for different reasons. Tommy’s eyes narrow. “Friends in the pit? You’ve never said that one before.”

Dream’s head twitches. “Friends in the pit. Friends. In the pit.”

The man’s voice is deeper than Tommy remembers. Something seems to resolve within Dream’s behavior, yet he keeps twitching. “You’re in exile, Tommy, you don’t need. Friends. I’m all you need. You were doing so good. I thought you learned to behave. I’m all you need. You don’t need friends.”

What happened to the eloquent poison that used to drip from Dream’s tongue like honey? He sounds like a broken record. All at once, Tommy staggers under the weight of the realization that this isn’t Dream. Somewhere underneath that horrible man that abused him is the real Dream, trapped in his own body and watching the dreamon that possessed him hurt his friends.

Xisuma’s gun makes an appearance again, but Tommy holds up a hand in a silent request for the admin to hold his fire. Tommy grabs Dream by the shoulders, removes Dream’s mask and then his own so that he can look the man in the eyes. “I know you’re in there, Dream. When I get out of this nightmare, I’ll save you. I swear it on my discs.”

Dream’s face twitches erratically. The movement spreads to his whole head, neck jerking. He raises straight up into the air, higher and higher, then explodes into a shower of items and no body. A white portal shimmers into existence.

“What the hell was that?!” Grian demands.

Tommy grins, taking the man’s hand and leading him to the portal. “I’ve got a friend to save.”

Grian snarls. “Tommy, he abused you. He’s not your friend.”

“That wasn’t Dream. It was a--”

“Dreamon,” Xisuma breathes.

Tommy nods. They walk through the portal together, and when they wake, holding each other close, they know they’ve got a mission. They can do it.

WELL NOW I'VE BEEN PUT ON THE SPOT UHH LEMME THINK REAL QUICK Ok so Botem knows about Tommy being on the server and Grian and Mumbo's plans to sneak him out. Evil X is also aware and working to send Tommy away. The rest of the server, well, some know and some don't. Cleo and Joe know cause they caught Grian and Mumbo trying to sneak out with Tommy but both of them pretended to be fooled to mess with them. Doc and Ren only know that there's a tiny gremlin covered in moss (yes i stole the glare Tommy design from BadlyDrawnMCYT). Ren's convinced that Bdubs has clone himself and there's a tiny one of him running around. Speaking of Bdubs he also knows and has taken Tommy under his wing to train him in the art of mischief. False knows Tommy because she recognizes him from MCC and is really confused as to why Ren doesn't. Cub doesn't know but he has been wondering why stuff from his shops keeps getting stolen and why he hears muffled cursing and sounds of pain coming from his ravine at night. A very vulgar ghost? Who knows.

Had he met Ren irl yet? Can't remember when mcc lines up with Grian's wedding.

Yeah, I think MCC9 was after the wedding. G missed MCC8 because of that. I think they’ve talked about how they met at the wedding but didn’t really get to know each other— or maybe that was just Martyn and Ren. Because in the Pink9 stream, I think it was Jimmy who said Ren told him Blue9 was practicing hard?

shshssshhh happy times, happy fluff times, what angst haha :) let’s talk about the scottage. Scott and Pearl co-habit a nice semi-detached place near the middle of town (Scott has a good job working at an escape room/activity centre, Pearl is self-employed and runs like 5 increasingly weird mini-businesses). Somehow everyone in their friend group has access to their home and likes to enter uninvited, sitcom-style. Scott is not impressed. (1/2)

/spoilers for the latest episodes ((it’s the Joel anon back again, here to share more dumb thoughts.)) It might just be me, but I find it hella sad that Joel tried to burn down the wall and kill Scott just so someone else could feel the same pain he did when he died. like bro there are healthier ways to deal with that trauma, mans needs some hot chocolate and therapy

okay so this actually inspired an idea and i don’t know if it’s good or not but i like how it turned out lol

Martyn and Jimmy gaze down at Joel through the glass separating him from them. Jimmy’s expression holds great sadness and worry, while Martyn can only frown as his brain tries to rationalise what just happened.

“So Joel was the one who burned down your wall in the end?” he says after a while. “Did he say why?”

Jimmy nods slowly. “He said he wanted someone else to burn the way he did. He wanted someone else to feel the pain of losing something they worked hard on, the way he did. Martyn, I… I’m really worried about him. This is really far beyond the bloodlust red lifers usually feel.”

Martyn starts to respond but then he hears a familiar voice say his name behind him. He turns to find Grian entering the room, his eyes widening as he registers Joel locked up in a small glass cage. “What happened?”

“Joel went completely feral,” Martyn responds. “He attacked us and almost killed me.”

He pulls down his collar slightly to reveal red welts on his collarbone, as if from a wild animal’s claws.

Grian stares at Joel in shock. “Oh my god…”

None of them can believe that the feral person in front of them is the same person who was competing alongside them in MCC just eight months ago, laughing and joking along with them as they wound their way through the various events.

That Joel is not this Joel. This Joel’s skin is grey, eyes flashing red, teeth bared in an animal-like snarl.

Jimmy kneels down to Joel’s level and places his hand on the glass, gazing sadly at his friend. “Why is he like this? What’s happened to him?”

“I think it might be some kind of glitch or something wrong with his code,” Grian responds slowly, his eyes fixed on Joel, “maybe caused by severe emotions. This is different from the red life bloodlust, this is… This is…”

Martyn glances at him expectantly.

“I have no idea what this is,” Grian finishes helplessly. “He’s gone so far beyond red life bloodlust that I’ve no idea if we can even bring him back.”

“If we figure out what caused it, maybe we can reverse it,” suggests Martyn. “He went crazy with fire first, then he started full-on attacking people. What caused his spree of arson?”

“Cleo burning down his house,” Jimmy says. “That’s it! He needs someone to show him love.”

Before anyone can stop him, Jimmy mines out the front of the cell and climbs inside.

“Jimmy, no!” snaps Martyn. “He’s gonna hurt you!”

Making eye contact with his friend, Jimmy reaches out to hug Joel.

Joel stares at him for a moment with his narrowed, inhuman eyes.

Then Joel lunges to attack.

Jimmy freezes with terror but Grian grabs his wrist and yanks him out the way. At the same moment, Martyn jumps in front of Jimmy and sinks his sword into Joel’s shoulder.

Joel chokes.

“NOOOOOOO!” screams Jimmy.

Martyn hurriedly withdraws his sword and drops it so he can catch Joel as he collapses forward. He carefully lowers Joel to the ground on his back and quickly presses his scarf against Joel’s wound, stopping the bleeding.

“Grian, do you have a healing potion?” Martyn asks urgently.

“Uh-!”

Grian hurriedly digs into his inventory and hands a potion to Martyn, who gently tips Joel’s head back and pours the potion carefully down his throat.

Joel chokes again, but the potion works quickly, and thankfully, his heaving breathing settles back to normal within seconds.

Martyn removes his scarf to find the wound slowly closing. Sighing quietly with relief, he gets to his feet and turns to Grian and Jimmy, who are watching him worriedly.

“It should be okay to leave him here while the potion’s working,” Martyn says. “He’ll be out for a while.”

After quickly patching up the cell, he heads outside into the fresh air and goes down to the river to wash his hands and scarf.

As he’s doing this, Jimmy appears at his side, arms folded. “You didn’t have to stab him.”

“I kinda did, considering he was about to attack and likely kill you,” Martyn responds without looking at him.

“You should have found a different way to stop him,” insists Jimmy. “I would never have asked you to stab him to save me.”

Martyn shoots to his feet and glares at Jimmy, who takes a step back in shock. “Well then I’ll be sure to let him kill you next time while I look for a non-violent way to save your goddamn life,” he growls.

“Wh-Why are you so angry at me?!”

“Because I just had to stab my friend to save your stupid life!” Martyn yells back, all his fear and frustration bubbling over. He jabs his finger back towards Dogwarts. “THAT is not Joel! The real Joel is gone! Buried somewhere, underneath layers and layers of fury and hatred and fear and trauma! He doesn’t care about you; he tried to KILL you! But if you wanna go back in there and attempt to use your naïve positivity to heal him, go for it! You won’t catch me intervening for you again!”

He shoves his scarf back into the river and starts to storm back up the hill.

“I’m sorry,” Jimmy blurts out.

Martyn stops and glances back at him.

“I should have realised that was really hard for you,” continues Jimmy. “And I-I’m really grateful that you saved my life.”

After a moment, Martyn moves closer to him and puts his arm over Jimmy’s shoulder. “I’m sorry too. I know this is hard for you as well. Grian and I will try our best to bring Joel back but… we might not be able to. You know that, right?”

Jimmy nods slowly, tears starting to drip from his eyes. “Y-Yeah. I’m just really scared that we’ll never get him back and it’ll be all our fault. We should have supported him after he lost his home. But we were so focused on our war that we never considered how much he was hurting. I-I should have realised!”

“It’s okay.” Martyn brings Jimmy into a proper hug as his friend cries into his shoulder. “It’s okay.”

But they both know it isn’t really.

hello i would like to hear more about this hermitcraft you speak of. it i want to get into it where should i start?

ok so all of hermitcraft is on youtube, but right now unfortunately isn’t the best time. we’re at the tail end of season 7 right now, and some of the hermits are taking a week or two off before the next season starts! but you can look at some of the hermits still playing and their videos, or watch hermitcraft recap, which is a fan-run weekly yt show that recaps the week’s events. i’ll run down the whitelist here so you can check out some videos! (I’ll post a better version of this when season 8 starts!)

- bdoubleO100 (bdubs) - bdubs is a fantastic builder (imo the best on the server) and has a great sense of humor! (one of my favs!)

- cubfan135 (cub) - i don’t know a lot about cub but he’s very creative and has spent the entire year and a bit of season 7 building and decorating a giant pyramid

- docm77 (doc) - currently on hiatus bcuz of the birth of his son, but he’s one of the og minecraft players, and he once beat n*tch in a 1v1 pvp match

- ethoslab (etho) - another og minecrafter! there are redstone machines named after him, but he does a bit of everything, including lots of pranks (one of my favs!)

- falsesymmetry (false) - the first 2-time mcc champion, false is a pvp master and her current season 7 base is an extremely epic cyberpunk city build

- grian (grian) - if you’ve heard of only one of the hermits, it’s probably grian. he has a massive fanbase because he’s so damn chaotic and energetic, as well as a great builder

- goodtimeswithscar (scar) - scar is disabled (some kind of nerve disease i think?) but that doesn’t stop him from building gorgeous builds and being the best corrupt minecraft politician ever

- hypnotizd (hypno) - idk a lot about hypno but he’s on hiatus for hermitcraft right now

- ijevin (jevin) - same as hypno

- impulsesv (impulse) - impulse is the most dedicated person to ever play on hermitcraft. he once rebuilt his entire megabase one block higher because he didn’t like it (while working an irl job!!)

- iskall85 (iskall) - iskall is extremely creative and infectiously hilarious. like etho, he dabbles in everything, and is great at all of it

- joehills (joe) - joe is the tumblr favorite hermit; he sings his way through problems and is probably the most chaotic good person you’ll ever see (one of my favs!)

- keralis (keralis) - keralis is one of the funniest hermits, and one of the best builders too, with a creative spirit unmatched by anyone else, even if he is a (minecraft) capitalist

- mumbo jumbo (mumbo) - although he would say he’s not, mumbo is a redstone genius who can make anything happen. ever seen the walking house video? that was him

- rendog (ren) - everyone’s favorite furry (his skin is a man with dog ears), ren is hilarious and charming, as well as extremely dedicated, often taking a full week to complete a video to his liking

- stressmonster (stress) - everything stress does is happy and cheerful, as well as pink and sparkly. She brings that infectious joy to the server that everyone needs

- tangotek (tango) - tango is a madman. he built TWO giant high-tech minigames in the past year, one of which is a fully functioning(ish) among us game in survival. (one of my favs!)

- tinfoilchef (tfc) - tfc is the literal grandpa of the server. he looks like santa with a minecraft skin to match, and is just as jolly as the real deal. He doesn’t play a lot because he’s very busy irl

- vintagebeef (beef) - beef is just so fun and so cool and i honestly have a hard time describing him but trust me on this one he’s great

- xBcrafted (xb) - i don’t know a lot about xb sorry

- xisumavoid (xisuma) - Xisuma is the hermitcraft admin, and has the longest-running hermitcraft series at ONE THOUSAND episodes since hermitcraft 1 in 2012

- zedaphplays (zedaph) - zedaph is the zaniest motherfucker ever. he does whatever he wants and you CANNOT stop him no matter what

- zombiecleo (cleo) - cleo is a master of the armor stand datapack, creating awesome sculptures and dioramas (one of my favs!) (and not just because she’s bi)
