hii!! I remember writing something similar to other characters, and these were one shots, so I decided to write this request not like hc, but like one shots too.. 'first part' was kinda suggestive so I got a little carried away here too… Also help why Kuko's part turned out so big..💀

It was something like a little tradition for you to drop by your boyfriend's office during lunch break just to bring him some sweets. Or maybe a whole meal if he would forget it, as sometimes he was in such a hurry in the mornings..

"Hello, my darling.." - a small chuckle escaped your lips as you can already see Doppo in the stairwell with such alight in his eyes.. You can even say there's something needy and lonely in his expression..?

"A-ah, s/o, good afternoon..!" - an awkward small smile appears on his lips as he gets closer, taking a small box from your hands. He always slowed his movements in these moments, enjoying light touches of your fingers a little.. But today it feels like he doesn't want to take his arms away, still holding the lunch box between you two.

"Doppo, did you miss me so much already?" - you cooed at him with a little playful tone, but honestly you can feel something wrong, as if your boyfriend was more frustrated than usual. - "Or something happened?"

"I.. it's nothing..! Really.." - he mumbled, looking away. You can notice a small drop of sweat on his forehead, as Doppo was actually nervous.. And one strict yet worried gaze from you was enough for him enough to squeak and give up. - "It's just.. You know, work.."

Well, your poor salaryman always complained to you in the evenings about his cruel boss, so you do understand what he meant.. It just looks that today he was in worse condition than usual so you decided to cheer him up and give a little motivation…

"It's okay, honey.. Come here.." - you move closer, taking a small box from his hands and placing it windowsill behind Doppo. He immediately leans closer to you too, enjoying the warmth of your body, as it always soothes his tensed muscles and minds. - "I have another little treat for you today.."

You didn't even give him time to react, luring him in a soft kiss. Small surprised whimper vibrates on your lips as Doppo didn't expect anything more than a hug. Yet the way he grabs your waist, holding you tight, clearly tells you that he doesn't mind.

But this is not the main thing you wanted to surprise him with.. Your arms also start wandering around his body as you get under his jacket, firmly caressing his slim body.

"Wait, s/o.. We.. we can't.." - another few whimpers break from his chest as Doppo pulls away for a second, breathing heavily.

"Then why do you keep grabbing on my hips so tight?" - you whisper in his ear, and he whines, not able to control himself. You were like fresh air, so heady after this tiny office room, yet so pleasant and needed.. Your boyfriend can't help but press his lips to yours again, this time pushing his tongue into your mouth. Just how can you stop him when he grasps your body so desperately?

You both forgot about time, sharing more passionate kisses, getting more and more touchy. The way Doppo starts trembling, as his arms get weaker and his kisses get more messy, you wonder just how excited he is now. So you slowly trace your hand down, tickling his tummy through shirt before placing it on his crotch, feeling small twitches under your warm palm.

"Doppo, honey, were you so glad to have some time with me..?" - you can't help but chuckle, finding it kinda amusing. - "And right in your workplace..?"

"I'm sorry.." - he mumbled under his breath, absolutely ashamed. But how can he not be like that when his dearest girlfriend is right in front of him, toying with him and his body like that?

Small giggle escaped your lips, as you were thinking how deep you can push this little game before suddenly slow but audible steps get closer to you two. You pull away immediately, trying to calm down your heavy breath as Doppo keeps fixing his tie with trembling hands.

Another worker opens the door and gets in the stairwell with a pack of cigarettes, also deciding to relieve some stress during lunch break.. Well, but maybe in a more peaceful way, as he looks at you two kinda suspicious. Doppo and you look as a man walks up the steps on another floor and sighs, relaxed.

"I think it's time for me to go.. Or you will have no chance to relax.." - you giggle, whispering in Doppo's ear, placing a long forgotten box in his hands. - "Now go on and enjoy your break, okay, honey?"

"You really think it would be more enjoyable than such time with you..?" - he groans, frustrated, still with bright cheeks.

"Shh. I would go home and prepare something for your return.. As a bigger reward for your hard work today." - your smile gets wider when you notice as your boyfriend's eyes glow again, and he nods, a little bit weak yet confident:

"I.. I will work hard and try to get home early...!"

"That's great, darling. I will make sure to take great care of you.."

Amusing and pleasing people with jokes and puns was always so thrilling! Sasara gets even more happy and playful after his performances, sitting in his dressing room with a wild smile, already generating new fun things for his next show. When suddenly he hears the door crack.

"Hey.. How's my precious comedian doing..?" - your soft voice interrupted his thoughts yet he didn't mind. You're his girlfriend, after all, and small talk with you was even more thrilling and joyful.

"Absolutely wonderful.." - he turned in his chair to you with a small yawn and then giggled. - "I have seen you in a crowd.. I'm glad you're here to support me.."

"I'm also bringing you some melon cream soda as a reward..!" - with these words, you give him a small cold can of his favorite drink, and the face of your boyfriend lights up even more. You can't help but adore how he was so happy-go-lucky, energizing you too. It just feels like when you're near Sasara you can't think about any problems.

"Ahh, you just know what I need..! You’re one in a melon..!" - another pun breaks out of his mouth as he happily drinks your treat. But then Sasara's smile got wider as he patted his lap. - "Come on, why don't you take a seat? I want to get another sweet reward too..!"

"Oh? How bold and straightforward you are today.." - you chuckle and get on his lap, leaning to his chest. Cuddling with him helps you show all your pride in your boyfriend, not only with words, but with action too, when for him it was a great opportunity to melt in your arms, relieve all his burning emotions. Cause actually there was one more thing in his mind, how can you help him to relieve some exciting energy, as he was filled with adrenaline now..

"That's it? My show was good enough only for a small cuddle?" - a light giggle tickles your ear as Sasara's hands slowly lower from your back to your waist. -"Not even a small kiss for my bliss?"

"If you wanted to kiss me just said it.." - you laugh before cupping his face, covering his lips with you in some light teasing kiss.

Your boyfriend's puckish behavior makes you more playful too yet you didn't expect his grab to get more tight, as he presses you to his chest, licking your lips with his hot tongue before biting your lower lip. For a moment you froze, yet then relaxed, whimpering in his mouth. But that was just a green light for Sasara to deepen the kiss, as you just let his tongue pressed against your own.

You grasp his shoulders, crumple the fabric of orange jacket, but don't pull away, enjoying such a risky play. How can you? Sasara was so busy with his performances the last few weeks so you do feel lonely, and now such a sudden yet pleasing intimate moment is just what you needed, as you hug his waist with your thighs, pushing yourself closer.

It seems like your boyfriend was no less hungry for some touches from you too, absolutely enjoying this situation. Sasara smirks right into your lips, squeezing your ass before pressing your crotch to his, enjoying the little gasp you made as you feel his half hard dick pressing to your pulsing crotch.

"Mr. Nurude! There's some journalist who wants to have an interview with you..!" - his manager (or someone else? you were too shocked and scared to understand..) knocked on the door of the dressing room, making you both gasp. Just how lucky you both are, as he didn't get inside and didn't see such a provocative picture..

"O-of course..! Tell them I will be there soon..!" - Sasara's voice still was trembling a little yet he quickly calmed down, trying to fix his jacket.

"What did your manager say..? I can't make out a word he's saying.." - you mumble, breathing heavily as your heart is beating at a rapid pace.

"Oh, it's because you were too busy making out with me.." - even in such a situation your boyfriend has time to tease you. You scoff, slowly get up from his laps, feeling your body aching to do something more.

"Baby, you can sit here.." - Sasara smirks, pointing to his chair. - "I'm sure it would be that long.. And, after that, I'm hoping we can continue our little play..?"

"Absolutely.." - you smirk, swiping away some of your lipstick from his lips. - "But we need to make sure the door will be closed this time.."

Kuko just hates doing anything in the temple, especially when his father asks him to do it. Heck, he has much more important things to do than all this household chores, so why does he stack here with this stupid rag and bucket, cleaning the floor?!

"Kuko..! I'm here!" - your cheerful voice fills the corridor, and he turns to sound with a small smirk.

Oh yes. You, his girlfriend. Thoughts about you sitting here with him, spending your time in this stupid place with him soothe the heart of an unruly Monk.

"Finally.. I thought you decide to leave me here, dying all alone.." - he scoffs yet you can see some excited sparkle in his eyes as he throws away his rag and gets closer.

"Hehe.. Kuko, no one has ever died from washing floors.." - you can't help but chuckle, as this annoyed face of your boyfriend, with furrowed brows and angry scowl, was actually really amusing.

"Then I will be the first..! Or I would probably die from eternal orders from my dad.." - another frustrated sigh breaks from his chest as he takes your hand in his. - "That's it. I should take a little break, so come on."

You didn't argue - well, after all, you come here not to watch your boyfriend actually just washing floors while you sit near him. He was more grumpy than usual, which means he probably had a big fight today with his father, and you decided to support him and soothe his burning soul.

As you get in one of the temple's rooms, Kuko yawns, falling right on the floor. His lazy eyes look up at you, waiting when you would drop by his side so you two can just cuddle together.

"Want to talk about this, dear..?" - you ask gently, embracing him in a warm hug.

"Nah, I'm good.." - he mumbled, hugging you back. For a moment he just lay down with you, enjoying the softness of your body against him, then his casual bratty smile appears on his lips. - "There's actually another way for you to make me happy, you know..?"

You get confused for a moment, yet when Kuko leans closer, tickling your lips with a hot breath, you gasp, but don't move away. Oh, so this is what type of game he wants to play today? Fine, you don't mind to see where it would lead you both..

"You're really such an evil, bad monk.." - you whisper but he just chuckles as an answer, before pulling you into a hot messy kiss. Almost immediately pushing his tongue through your lips, as your boyfriend always was kinda rough in these things.. Yet you were enjoying his passion, fighting with his tongue for dominance.

Kuko quickly changed position, getting on top of you, as he gobbled you up hungrily. His hand starts roaming around your body in such a teasing manner, making you whimper in his lips. Well, but if your boyfriend wants to be so naughty, then be it, you can be such a playful brat too.. So you grab his bomber jacket by the shoulders, trying to take it off and leave him only his monk clothes, and Kuko easily obeys, throwing away his jacket.

You get surprised why he didn't even try to fight or play before this, yet when he pulls away, looking at you with such a dark lustful expression, realization tickles your stomach, sending shivers down your spine.

"Come on.. If you decide to take my jacket off, you also should remove something.. And I will choose what exactly.." - low chuckle makes you whimper, as his hands stop on your thighs, playing with the fabric of your skirt.

"Kuko, we are in a temple..!" - you whisper, trying to catch your breath.

"Fuck this temple..!" - was Kuko's only response before he leaned closer again, pressing his hips to yours. You moan right in his lips, as a twitching bulge in his pants makes you squeeze your thighs around his waist.

"By the way you acting it's more look like you want to fuck me, not temple.." - you mumble in his lips, but honestly, you also didn't care now, too carried away with his touches on your body.

"I'm glad you finally realized this, doll.." - Kuko smirks, pulling you into another breathtaking kiss. Very timely, as your moan did not sound out loud, but got muffled in his lips again, and you both were able to hear footsteps not that far away and an annoyed voice:

"Kuko? Where are you?! Why did you leave a rag for washing floors right in the middle of the corridor..?!"

"Shit, that's my dad..!" - Kuko scoff disappointed, pulling away from you. - "I hope he screams like that because he slipped on it.."

You can't help but laugh, also slowly get up:

"Did he even know I'm here..?"

"No.. But I'm sure he wouldn't mind you staying here for a while.." - your boyfriend sighs, then a sudden idea comes to his mind. - "Maybe it would be a great reason for me to slack off from this terrible shit.. You're my guest, after all, I should provide you with some good service.."

"Yes, I already noticed what a good service you can show to me.." - you chuckle, helping him fix his jacket.

"But you were enjoying this no less than me, did you? Now wait for me a little, I'm promising to return as soon as I can.. So we can continue our sin, hehe.."

✧fluff, idrk i just kinda had the motivation to write their ideal types and then realized i had an emoji prompt about it so here we are

💝 - what is their ideal type in a person?

-Someone shorter than him. There really is no reason other than he has the need to protect his lover and he wants to keep them safe. Having someone shorter than him also gives him someone to playfully tease on a whim.

-Someone who is loyal. This is a given for many people but for him, he wants someone who is going to be as loyal as he would be. Someone who has a track record for being unfaithful is not someone he wants to be in a relationship with.

-Someone who he can tease. Although tying into the first point, Kuko wants someone who he can tease. It doesn't matter if you get flustered when he teases you or if you shoot back with a teasing statement of your own, he just wants to have that playfulness evident in your relationship.

-Someone who is honest. He can deal with you hiding feelings from him or the occasional secret but in the end, he wants you to be honest with him about things. Honesty is something he values a lot in any kind of relationship, romantic or not. He values you and your feelings more than he'll let on and wants you to speak up about them.

-Someone who can forgive. Not to say that you have to forgive him easily, but he wants someone who won't hold a grudge when he gets you both into some stupid bullshit...

💝 - what is their ideal type in a person?

-Someone who enjoys vkei. The aesthetic or music. Obviously, with Jyushi, this is a given. He wants you to be able to come to his concerts and see you in the crowd. It gets him so giddy whenever he sees you there supporting him.

-Someone who supports him through it all. He's been through a lot in his life and he's a sensitive guy. He doesn't want to sound selfish when he says that his ideal type in a person is someone who supports him through anything because worry not, he'll support you just as much.

-Someone who is sensitive. Not to say you have to be someone who cries a lot or anything of that nature but he wants a partner who is sensitive to emotions. Sometimes he's nervous to bring something up so he wants his partner to be able to be sensitive towards his feelings.

-Someone who accepts him how he is. Accept him to say the least. Accept Amanda, his chunibyo personality, his vkei band, and everything else and don't judge him for any of it.

💝 - what is their ideal type in a person?

-Someone who is not overconfident. He wants his partner to have confidence in themselves, of course, but he doesn't want them to have an ego that he'd have to keep in check all of the time.

-Someone who doesn't mind his busy schedule. There are times where he gets home and all he wants to do is chill. He wants his partner to understand that he's busy and wants you to understand that yes, he sometimes might be home after you've gone to bed because of work.

-Someone who is hardworking. Doesn't matter in what way you are hardworking, he just wants his lover to not be lazy. Everyone has their days but in the long run, he wants his partner to work hard for the things they earn.

-Someone who is understanding. He can have his fair share of outbursts that come out of nowhere and he wants his lover to understand that he doesn't mean it no matter how serious or angry he sounded. He wants a lover who, although getting upset with him, will understand and listen to him.

☇ Even though he likes anime a lot more, he can't really say no when you bounce around him and ask to spend the night watching something with you. ☇ He obviously loves spending this time with you, being able to see what you're interested in is a good way to know each other more, after all. ☇ He would set up a small area on his bed with a bunch of pillows and a blanket to wrap up in if you get cold, or something to rub your hand against. ☇ He would make some small snacks that you enjoy eating, just like he would when you were watching something he wanted to watch. ☇ Ichiro sits beside you and wraps an arm around you, making sure you were alright with the physical tough of course. ☇ Sometimes, you don't realize what time it is and get fixated on watching the documentary,, so Ichiro half the time needs to drag you away and get you to go to bed. ☇ Honestly, Samatoki seems like the type of person who would be interested in these sort of films or documentaries.

☇ Sometimes you two like to walk them while in the Yakuza building, just as a past time if you're waiting on something or need something to listen to while working on paperwork.

☇ When you're watching it at work, you tend to sit on one of the wheelie chairs and spin around in circles slowly, sitting in the chair backwards, every so often looking back at the screen instead of just listening to it.

☇ Samatoki works on his work and sometimes stops you from spinning so you don't get too dizzy.

☇ When you don't happen to be watching them, you two could talk for hours about what you just watched, usually a conversation over dinner or on the drive/walk home.

☇ When at home, Samatoki will cuddle you in bed and watch some of the documentaries with you, often ending up cuddling you all the way to sleep.

"jeez, can't even stay up long enough to finish the show"

Kuko Harai ─── ✧

☇ He is on the same wave length with you when you're bouncing around, asking him to watch something with you while he was done with his chores for the day,, very energetic and up to the task

☇ He'd sit you down somewhere in his room on his futon, cuddling up in a blanket with you, turning on one of the various documentaries you had put onto the watchlist.

☇ He tends to play with your hair while watching, either braiding it loosely or just weaving his fingers through,, Sometimes you do the same back, even though he didn't have much hair to do it to.

☇ He loves the long conversations you two are able to have after each documentary, talking either about how stupid one of the people in the documentary was, or just in general how the crime could have easily been avoided.

☇ eventually, there is the time where Kuko is called by his father to continue or start doing his work again, but he never really wanted to,, But no one can really defy their parents can they.

"it's alright, we can continue watching some later when that old man's in bed, alright?"

"alright,, don't take too long like last time!"

Thinking bout Yandere!Kuko who's so far gone he's twisting his words and bending his own morals until they snap, alwaya creating new mantras to manipuoate you cause he's always known so much, he's always had everyone's best interest at heart, so why wouldn't you listen to his word?

Yandere Kuko thoughts on this fine night…

Kuko thinks himself to be a good person. He follows his moral compass and he teachers others to live in their best life. Kuko is a good person- which is why all of the shit he puts you through- all the pain and suffering and manipulation and bullshit- it can all be justified and explained if you would just listen to his words.

He beat up a guy who looked at you funny the other day.

The one time he decides to take you out, the one time he says he’s going to be nice and treat you to a proper date- is the one time some bastard decides to follow you with his eyes. Kuko wastes no time grabbing him by the collar, all very publicly, and pummel him into the ground. He’s violent in that regard, no care for the opinion of those around him because his reputation in Nagoya means they’ll listen to his words anyways.

Gasps of shock and murmurs of fear fill the air as he wipes dust of his clothes- Kuko’s eyes never leaving you for a second. Even as he stands up to address the growing crowd, a smug smile finds itself on his face as he speaks.

“You see, if you want to make an example of an exemplary, seek one who is the opposite of such,” Kuko’s shoe digs into the arm of the absolute fucker who dared to stare at you, “You should never judge a situation just from it appears- for this example of an unexemplary gentleman inappropriately touched my partner. I was just showing the world my dedication to my love and just how gentlemanly I can be.”

He punctuates his statement with that mischievous grin of his and the citizens of Nagoya excuse his violent acts as Kuko just being Kuko. They know him to be brash and bold. And still they know him to be a good person. The speeches and proclamations prove he only had the best intentions at heart.

His eyes look over you as if he’s daring you to say something. Daring you to challenge his word. Daring you to break the image of Nagoya’s good intentioned delinquent monk. But you keep quiet, you always do.

Because if you speak up it’ll just lead to more. More innocent people being beat half to death, more markings on your neck and bodice, more mantras of how partners have to stick together no matter what, more statements saying that you can’t leave him, more and more and more-

And all of it will be excused in Kuko’s eyes. After all, what was it he always said?

If you love something never let them go.

a/n: based on the merch lol. i did see a lot of fanart of the characters wearing them, so i got a bit inspired~

kuko

he most definitely just cackles, so loud, when he catches you wearing the hairclips with his face on it. oh man, this was too amusing. you actually bought that? and kuko is still too loud in his laughs when you pout and try to defend yourself. they were cute! or maybe a bit creepy.. either way, you just had to get them! his cackles, even when he’s teasing you, bring about butterflies.

but kuko is also a bit cocky. just the tiniest bit. there’s a shit-eating grin that tugs on his feline lips, a pretty shine to his fangs. so you like him that much, eh? wanting to show your support for your boyfriend. well, that’s pretty cute of you. and they did look cute on you! even if he does end up teasing you about it (it’s all in good fun). but hey, they suit you~

jyushi

aw, he gets a little flushed when jyushi catches you wearing his hairclips. there’s a cute ‘eH’ that leaves his lips and a stunned look to him, a pretty warm flush to his cheeks as well. but he’s also mega thrilled, all the more. the mere thought that you love jyushi so much and want to show your support for him moves his tender heart; it’s enough to bring tears to his eyes! (and maybe he does get a bit teary-eyed, being the softie he is).

you look so cute! jyushi would squeal. the way they clip your hair to the side, and he can see your forehead! adorable; even amanda thinks so! there’s definitely a bit of a glimmer in his eyes as jyushi admires you in his hairclips. his heart skips a beat, and he feels all the butterflies. aw, you wanted to wear hairclips of him (even if he whines a bit about how they didn’t make him look good).. they totally should make hairclips of you so jyushi can wear them around too, he thinks. he wants to match you~

hitoya

well, he’s in total disbelief the moment hitoya catches you in hairclips of him. he’s.. staring, that’s for sure. god, you actually bought that? he asks, a bit of an exasperated sigh to him. though i suppose that was more of a rhetorical question than anything. they’re a little hideous and perhaps even on the creepy side (the second thought that goes through his mind is if this can be considered libel against his image lol).

and hitoya doesn’t quite get it when you try to defend yourself and say that it’s cute. cute? he takes another look at them. yeahh.. he doesn’t get that. but, as long as you’re happy, hitoya thinks. and well, maybe he doesn’t quite like to admit, but it definitely moves hitoya a little to know that you love him and simply wanted to show your support. even if it was in the form of ugly hairclips. they even look a little.. cute on you, the way they expose your forehead and clip your hair to the side. not the design though.

One of the youngest of the Gods

He’s the God of Darkness

And like there are other God’s that can basically do his job

So he doesn’t do much

That doesn’t stop him from flaunting his status every so often

Until of course the higher-ups hear about him slacking off

They get Hitoya to help him out

And now he’s expected to do stuff

HE CAN’T DO STUFF

Many a tears are shed

He’s just a young God

You can’t expect him to actually do his job

So Hitoya begrudgingly helps him out and teaches him what he needs to know

And because Kuko has been causing trouble

When does he not?

He has him help out as well

As sort of an atonement for making the other God’s clean up his messes

It’s because of inexperienced Jyushi that the three become a rag-tag trio

He starts out making a lot of mistakes and crying too much

But ever so slowly he starts to get the hang of being a God of Darkness

He can perform some basic magic

Nothing too fancy but he still excited every time it works

One thing he’ll never get used to is offerings

He doesn’t think he’s special enough for presents

Kuko usually steals them and Hitoya makes him give them back

Now that he has an idea of what’s expected of him

He can start actually being a God

That’s not to say he doesn’t need help

He’s going to need all the help he can get

Especially if he catches the eye of one of the higher up’s demigods…

Hitoya Amaguni

It should be no surprise he’s the God of Order

He’s also one of the higher up Gods

Hitoya is pretty important

So he’s tasked with keeping some of the lower Gods in line

Two of them are Jyushi and Kuko

And he’s got his work cut out for him

For starters, Kuko can’t be tamed

Not yet anyways

And Jyushi…

Jyushi is a child compared to the other lower Gods he takes care of

He doesn’t have time to be some kind of babysitter

But it’s one of his duties as a higher God

So he does it with as much grace and humility as he can muster

And he won’t admit it but Kuko and Jyushi make him laugh

He’s always giving them advice and pieces of wisdom he thinks will help

Jyushi at least listens to him

Kuko will never listen no matter what he tries

He also shows them simple magic that’ll make their jobs easier

And after all the trials and tribulations they put him through

It’s only fair he gets some kind of recognition right?

Something or someone to tell him he’s doing a good job trying to control these demons

Well…

At least the God he’s taken a liking to seems to think so…

A/N: This one was so cute to do, I ended up focusing on Kuko and Hitoya’s relationship with Kuko’s kid in the mix. I think his son would be absolutely adorable and I love the idea of Hitoya being a grumpy uncle lol Hope you enjoy~

Kuko barged into Hitoya’s office with a bang, hands on his hips as he laughed loudly.

“Daddy’s home!” Kuko shouted with a grin. Hitoya glared at his teammate from where he was sitting at the desk and shook his head.

“This isn’t your house, idiot,” he sighed. The child in Hitoya’s arms did not seem to care in the slightest whose house this was, and immediately dropped away from Hitoya’s lap to run over to his father.

“Dada!” the little boy named Haru giggled happily, wobbling a bit as he rushed towards Kuko as fast as his little legs would carry him. Kuko spotted his son and immediately bent down to pick up the child, taking him in his arms and swinging him around excitedly.

“There you are, you little scamp!” Kuko chuckled, bringing Haru up to his arms and blowing a raspberry into the child’s cheek, making him shriek in delight.

“Honestly...” Hitoya sighed.

He shook his head but, despite wanting to be frustrated that Haru had managed to sneak into his office yet again, could not bring himself to think ill of the father-son duo. The child was so young, but already he was the spitting image of Kuko. Not only did he have the same, spiky red hair and huge, golden eyes, but his teeth were sharp and pointed just as his father’s. There was absolutely no doubt that Haru was Kuko’s son.

“I called you multiple times to come and pick him up, where were you? And how does he manage to keep breaking into my office?” Hitoya asked, arms crossed. It was hard to stay mad at Haru for long with his innocent eyes and big smile, but Kuko was another thing altogether. Hitoya was more than happy to relay his annoyance to the father.

“I was at the temple, where else?” Kuko replied, not bothering to spare Hitoya another look as he continued to play with his son.

“And the breaking and entering?” Hitoya asked with raised eyebrows. This time Kuko looked his way and shot the lawyer a cheeky grin.

“What can I say, old man? Looks like Haru learned from the best!” Kuko gloated, laughing loudly as he twirled Haru once more. “Isn’t that right, Haru? You don’t want to hang out with stinky, old Uncle Hitoya, right?” Kuko teased before sticking his tongue out at Hitoya.

“Uncle Toya! Uncle Toya!” Haru exclaimed, eyes going wide. It was as if the child had just remembered something important as he began flailing in Kuko’s arms. Kuko frowned but placed the child back on the ground, only watching for a moment before gasping in horror as Haru rushed towards Hitoya, hugging the man’s leg tightly.

“Ah, hello again Haru,” Hitoya said with a weak smile, as if the child hadn’t spend most of the morning bugging him about all of the deposition paperwork on his desk. Haru glanced up at Hitoya, neck bent almost all the way back just to look at the man and his smile turned into a sharp, toothy, happy smile.

“I love you, Uncle Toya!” Haru exclaimed with a bright happiness that made both men in the room stop and clutch their chests. The cuteness was almost too much to bear and Kuko had to lean on the chair for support while Hitoya dropped down to one knee to pat Haru’s head.

“I love you too, little Haru,” Hitoya said with a light chuckle. Hitoya had never been too fond of children, but it was safe to say that Haru was growing on him, and he didn’t mind the child as much as he thought he was going to.

Kuko watched in humor as Hitoya played with Haru and gave the boy a small hug. It was true that being a father was difficult, and that Haru had practically turned Kuko’s life around 180 degrees, but Kuko liked to think that it was all for the best. After all, it was still fun to annoy Hitoya and Haru was a wonderful instigator.

“Alright, alright, you’ve had your fun. Time to go see grandpa,” Kuko sighed, annoyed that he had to put on his ‘mature adult’ hat to take care of his son. Haru immediately left Hitoya, rushing to Kuko while shouting ‘gramp, gramp, gramp!’. As Haru rushed out of the office door, becoming enamored with one of the plants in the reception area, Kuko grinned.

“Have you ever thought of a child leash for him?” Hitoya asked.

“Shut up, he’s a kid! They’re supposed to have this much energy. I know I did and look how great I turned out,” Kuko beamed. Hitoya rolled his eyes and sat back down in his chair.

“Whatever you say, Kuko. You’re the father,” he added, making Kuko groan.

“Fine, I’ll make sure he doesn’t sneak in here as much. Happy?” Kuko sneered, knowing that Hitoya was right but not wanting to give him the satisfaction. There was a brief pause before Hitoya cleared his throat.

“I suppose I could watch him for a short time if your father’s busy with the temple...” he said, almost too casually. Kuko immediately smirked and laughed at Hitoya’s response.

“Don’t even try to hide it, you love Haru!” Kuko said, pointing a finger at Hitoya. “Keep up the good work and you’ll be the new nanny in no time!” he added with a roar of laughter.

“Shut up and get out of my office! Some of us ‘adults’ actually need to get back to work!” Hitoya shouted, standing up from his desk and pointing at the door.

“Hey, I am a real adult! I have a damn kid for crying out loud!” Kuko shouted back.

“Don’t cuss in front of Haru!”

“He’s not even here, I can do whatever I – ”

“Dada?”

At the sound of Haru’s whisper, both men immediately dropped into false smiles, innocently waving at the boy.

“Hey baby, you ready to go?” Kuko asked, his teeth clenched and voice sickly sweet. Haru took no notice and nodded profusely, singling ‘gramps’ once more as he tugged on Kuko’s pant leg. Kuko sighed and glanced over to Hitoya, giving him a nod.

“Whatever, thanks for today, I guess,” Kuko said, rubbing his neck a bit.

“Any time. Haru is always welcome here,” Hitoya said with a knowing look. Kuko made sure Haru was not looking before throwing up his middle finger at Hitoya with a friendly grin, making Hitoya chuckle with humor.

“See you around, old man.”

Dice feels like a stray cat sometimes, just wandering around, no idea where their next meal is but not letting that slow their stride. He’d seen the way you treated the strays, giving them extra treats, making sure they had access to fresh food and water, and then became mildly distressed realizing the parallels he felt with the cats increased. He almost asked if you just considered him an adopted pet but decided that was too stupid a question, although he thinks about it more when you run your fingers through his hair and hold him.

Harai Kuko:

Kuko does have to offer thanks to the cats that live at the temple, wandering around and drawing your attention enough that it caused you to visit daily. He thinks watching you get excited over something that seemed simple made him fall in love with you more, as having a person who could appreciate the little things in life was an ideal trait in a partner.

Nurude Sasara:

Sasara had never considered having a cat, but after you suggested adopting one, he really couldn’t thank you enough. Cat puns were easy enough to come up with, but the fact cats were little comedians in their own right had Sasara laughing extra hard when he was at home. He’s happy you convinced him to get a pet, though he’s not thrilled that he has to fight for the right to lie on your lap (or that the cat loved to step on his head in the mornings, especially after nights where he had been out drinking).

☇ You'd giggle at him but it was cute, giving him a kiss on the cheek before being seated at the table. It was such a neat looking setup, Doppo bringing over the food that he had make earlier, his hand shook a little as he walked around, trying to make everything perfect.

☇ "Doppo,, there is no need to push yourself " you'd give a pout to him, rubbing your hand over his to calm him down. "b-but. . I want to make it special. . for you".

☇ He just wanted to make everything special for you, everything to be perfect for his perfect s/o, he just wanted for you to feel as good as how he viewed you. You just sighed and kissed his forehead, leaving a blush to his cheeks and ears.

☇ You spent the night eating the dinner that he had made, it was such an amazing meal, leaving you astonished at how good of a cook he was. After the meal he would clean everything up and take you to the couch, sitting you down onto his lap with blankets and pillows, just to watch the tv, a peaceful way to end it no?

" come on s/o, just this way!" he'd laugh all the way, being gentle as he held to your hand to not loose you in the random crowds that might appear on the way there.

☇ Once there, her would definitely pay for anything you'd want to eat, something small or big he'd pay for all of it, it was a special day after all hm?

☇ He'd simply let you talk about how you've been, occasionally butting in to say something or comment, but it was always when he could. He'd always be so interested in what you had to say, to him you were so much more interesting than anything else that could exist!

☇ And with that the meal was over, now all that was left was what he had actually planned for you. He'd nervously take your hand and lead you through a crowd before getting up to higher ground, sitting down on a ledge with you, holding you in his arms gently, chuckling at the blush that came to your face.

☇ Little to your knowledge, Kuko has taken you to a firework show that was in a smaller part of the city! He never told you and just wanted to see the happy change in your face, shifted from confused to excitement as the first firework was lit, bright colors filling the skies in only a matter of seconds.

☇ After the firework shows that played on, he'd take you to the temple to stay the night over, he didn't want you going anywhere this late at night of course! So he let you stay in his room with him for the night, what a lovely boyfriend he was~.

Ichiro

He's such a babe guy OHHHH my goodness he's such a babe guy. Maybe he'll throw a baby in there too but he throws out babe like it's your second name. It sounds so sweet and casual coming from his mouth you can just hear the smile dripping from it.

"Babe, come here for a sec!" Ichiro calls from the kitchen. With a hm in reply, you come in and see him doing nothing but stand there. You go to ask him why he called you over- only for him to bring you into a warm hug. "I just wanted to hug you baby," he says, kissing your cheeks as you chuckle.

Jiro

Jiro strikes me as the type to only call you cute nicknames as a ploy to get you annoyed. He'll snicker as he calls you his 'pookie little sunshine bear' in front of all your friends and run away cackling as you chase him down. In private he'll be more soft- picking up 'babe' just like his brother calls you.

"Hey darling little sweetie pumpkin bear pie?" He asks you with the most innocent eyes and you glare at him with the fury of a thousand suns. Your friends laugh behind you and you make a promise to get him back later. Later comes with you tickling him with no mercy in the confines of his bedroom. Through fits of laughter and cries he yells, "Babe! Babe! Stop! Please!" Too bad though, maybe he shouldn't have been such a dick :P

Saburo

He's into the classics. More so- he simply calls you by your name cause he's a bit too embarrassed to call you anything else. Once he tried to call you 'babe' like he's heard his brothers do but it sounded so foreign coming from his mouth he'd rather you forget it ever happened.

"H-hey, b-baabeee~" Saburo says, trying to sound suave and immediately regretting it. You're not sure you heard him correctly, sounding more like a squeaking door rather than an actual sentence. "What did you say Sabu?" "N-Nothing!"

Mad Trigger Crew

Samatoki

He calls you classy shit like doll, honey, love. He's so sickly sweet when he calls you these pet names that you can't help the fluster that comes to your cheeks whenever he says it.

You're just about to go to bed, Samatoki already laying down. He's half asleep so you try and get in without much attention. As you fix yourself in bed, his hand finds yours and he stirs in his sleep. "G'night, love," he mutters, voice husk with tiredness. He falls back asleep quickly, unaware of the warmth spreading in your smile.

Jyuto

mjmjmjmjmmhmmhmgmmg he's so annoying. He's gonna pull out all the stops in an attempt to get you flustered but he's so smug and obvious with it that it makes you laugh. I know people consider Jyuto this sex god type beast but in my mind but I cannot imagine him as anything other than a pathetic house plant type of man.

He's leaning over the counter of the bar, sliding a drink he just bought your way. "Why hello there, dream boat," His eyes watch you from behind his glasses to see if you'll give the reaction he desires. "Mmmmm, try better next time, love," you wink back at him and he flusters instead. "Wh- why can't you just play along," he sighs, adjusting his tie and looking down bashfully.

Rio

In my previous writing for Rio I had him call his partner "dear" and I think it's so applicable to him!! He's a classic type guy and him calling you dear is just fjdafjsdkfdsj cute!

At the grocery store you always have to ask him to reach for the items at the top of the shelves. Even if you can reach it yourself it's nice to see how sweet he is whenever he hands the items to you. "Ah, Rio can you grab that pasta up there." "This one dear?" Rio perks up, holding the box in the air. "Yep! Thanks, love."

Fling Posse

Ramuda

AAAA RAMU!! He's gonna call you all the sweets. Sweetie-pie, sweetheart, sweetie, etc etc. Augh he'll even throw out a cutie in there when he's feeling like it. When in private and in intimacy, he'll call you such sweet affectionate terms like dear and love to show just how much he cares.

Ramuda hovers above you. The sheets tickle against bare skin and he intertwines your hands. "You look absolutely wonderful," he says, a smile spreading along his face. Your face flusters at the ever closening proximity between you two as he bends down. "Thank you for making my whole world, love," your lips connect within the darkness of your bedroom.

Gentaro

In public, he'll call you the most complex, cutesy, annoying nicknames when referring to you. Just cause he likes the reaction of the people around him- looks of ludicrousness and cringe. In private, he's not the type to pull a 'baby' or 'honey'. But he is the type to pull out daarin, which translates similarly to "my darling."

Gentaro's awake in the early mornings of the day. While you're still in bed, he's preparing tea for the two of you to share. You start to wake when he sets up a table beside you. "Ah, good morning, my darling," he greets you with a warm smile.

Dice

Similarly to Ichi, Dice is also a babe guy. He's always calling you with the widest smile on his face and a cheery tone to show just how much he cares. He totally calls you babe on social media whenever he posts you two like the sicko he is.

Your phone rings in your pocket and a smile comes on your face when you see the caller. "Hey? What's up?" You say to your boyfriend on the other line. "Baaaaabe-" he starts off and you roll your eyes playfully. "Can you pick me up? I don't have enough money left for the train fair..." "Of course, baby," you say. In reply you get a bunch of fast paced thank yous and smoochie noises over the phone.

Matenrou

Jakurai

He calls you angel cause you're his angel <3. His light in life, the star in his sky. He's such a sickly sweet romantic it's gross and yucky BLAH !

It was a hot day in Shinjuku and you were sitting in front of the house fan, trying to cool yourself off. Home alone for the time being, Jakurai was expected to come back with takeout. It was wayyyy to hot to fire up the stove. As if on cue, the door opens and Jakurai holds a teddy bear patterned reusable bag filled with cold soba and iced drinks. Still in the doorway he calls out to you, "I'm home, angel!"

Hifumi

Hifumi's the type to default to a lot of food based pet names. Pudding, honey, pumpkin, sugar, etc etc. He never calls you these in public, instead calling you by name around people. But in private, he's happy to call you all the sickly sweet food based names he can think of!

Doppo's out of the apartment today and you're visiting your boyfriend. He's cooking up a meal as you sit by him, talking about your day. "Ah yeah, the trains were closed earlier- something about flooding cause of the rain yesterday..." you say, fiddling with a cup of water. "Did you take a cab instead then, honey-bun?" Hifumi doesn't even look at you as he says the term of endearment, focused on the hot pan in front of him. It just spills out so naturally, alongside the accompanying smile on his face.

Doppo

Doppo doesn't really use nicknames- also finding it embarrassing when they slip past his lips. Though, deep down he really really really wants to call you these names! He wishes to be the type that can call his lover baby, love, dear, sweetie, etc etc. Though, they only really slip out when he gets a bit toooo tipsy.

Doppo's head rests on your shoulder on the train ride home. You, as the designated guide for both Doppo and Hifumi after you three went out drinking in the streets of Shinjuku, held onto their arms as you tried to stop them from collapsing on the floor. Doppo murmurs, trying to bat your hand away from holding onto Hifumi in annoyance. "Mmmmm, baby stop holding onntoo him you- HIC- you're mine..." Doppo nuzzles himself into your neck. You silently thank the late night as the train car was basically empty at this time. "I'm the love of yer life... not him..." It'd be a cute memory if Hifumi didn't vomit on the floor as soon as you stepped out the station.

Bad Ass Temple

Kuko

Kuko thinks of you as his little baby, no matter how annoying as it may come off. He loves being really cutesy with you, calling you his baby wherever he can. He's just silly like that!

You're sweeping the floor around his family's temple- gathering the falling leaves that come with the new season. You originally came to hang out with your boyfriend but he was no where to be found (probably procrastinating on sweeping the floor). The quietness is nice, you decide as you enjoy the peaceful change of pace. When a heavy presence hugs you from the back you start attacking it with the broom. "AHHHHH! BABY NO! BABY STOP WHAT ARE- OW! OW!" Kuko screams, disrupting the peace from before.

Jyushi

He's so cute I love him. He calls you all the terms of endearment relating to beauty, handsomeness, etc etc. If you're fem he'll call you princess (HE'S SUCH A PRINCESS GUY RIGHT GUYS???). But his general petname for you no matter your gender is gonna be 'dear.' Cause he's just so cute like that.

After one of his concerts you meet him backstage. He jumps into your arms, still in his stage uniform and makeup. But still, he’s your Jyushi. And your Jyushi peppers kisses all over your face as soon as you find some alone time. “Did you see me? Did you think I looked totally cool up there dear?” He’s excited, riding off the high from his performance. He’s smiling, radiating and you can’t help but reply with a yes, of course.

Hitoya

He's like Jyuto in he intentionally tries to be suave but unlike Jyuto, he actually succeeds. He calls you cutie cause he just thinks you're so adorable- all the time.

Its' the morning and he's about to leave. You fix his tie at the door, something he always chides you for doing for but never actually stops you from doing. It's a quiet morning and you fill the air with a hum. "And... all done, Mr. Bigshot Lawyer." A break from mundane routine, Hitoya hugs you and brings his face to your neck, speaking into it. "Thanks, cutie." You push him out the door before he can tease you about the flush on your cheeks.

Dotsuitare Hompo

Sasara

SASARAA MY BABY MY BABY. Out of the goodness of my heart, totally unbiased, Sasara is a total romantic UGH. He's the type to pull shit like "my partner," "my baby," "my love," UGHHHHHH I love him.

He comes home slurred, tipsy from a night of celebration with Rosho and Rei. Dotsuitare Hompo just passed their qualifying match to compete in the DRB and they couldn't be more excited. Sasara's drunken state results in 3 things- him struggling to open the door to your shared home, him buying you a several gifts from his night out, and him dropping several gifts on the floor as he tries to open the door. You hear commotion outside and open the door hesitantly. "Hello...?" You call, before you see your partner at the other side. "My baby!" Sasara screams, pulling you outside into a hug.

Rosho

Rosho's a pretty simple man. He doesn't want to overdo it with nicknames (unlike someone he knows) and he doesn't want to be so closed off you question his affection for you. He defaults to a simple "love" when referring to or from you- because that's all he feels for you.

He's grading papers and muttering to himself as he corrects the wrongs and praises the rights. Rosho's hand is in his hair as he whispers to himself. You walk into the living room, where he sits on the floor in front of the TV. Frowning at the messy state you find your partner in so late at night, you sit down beside him rest your head on his shoulder. "Ah- hello there, love," he smiles, a hand coming to your head to pat it. "Rest well."

huh? was this for him??

kuko is a little bewildered when you just hand him the chocolate, shy or not. he’s a bit slow on it, but when it hits, he does cackle and grin. you shouldn’t have!

how cute — he teases you about it, a bit too much perhaps. really, it’s all a bit flustering and confusing for him as well

but ah, he’s confused on what to do. kuko’s left scratching his head, wondering what it all meant. i mean, he did know, but it’s still so strange when it happens to him

ughh, the way his body reacts is a pain too. he gets those stupid heart flutters when he realizes all too well that you had gifted him chocolate on valentine’s of all days. why’d you have to do him like that? it’s irritating, dealing with all these annoying emotions

what a pain in the ass. he has to sort through all of himself again as well. i suppose it wasn’t all that bad though

jyushi

one word, of course: flustered. it’s pretty obvious

he kinda…short-circuits, visibly, when you hand him chocolates. he knows what this means all too well; and as much as jyushi tries to keep up his front, the cracks show when he gets all too warmed up

it’s all he thinks about for the rest of the day, missing a chord or two during practice because of it. he’s off his balance, and jyushi can’t help but bury his head into his pillow when he comes home to muffle his thoughts

hngg, everything was too much. your chocolates tasted way too good, and his mind was becoming too overwhelming. he felt all too strange and warm. again, it was all too much

he whines to amanda about what he should do, overtly emotional. why’d you give him chocolates? i mean, jyushi’s over the moon about it, but he still can’t help but wonder. he also can’t help but ponder on his feelings

jyushi knows this means he must give you something for white day, and come to terms with his feelings, eventually. but he’s sure he’ll just malfunction on the spot if he did so

hitoya

mm, he kinda freezes up? it’s clear that he doesn’t know what to do, visible on his (handsome) features

hitoya is, more or less, awkward about the entire thing. it wasn’t anything he was entirely prepared for, and hitoya is usually well prepared. it throws him off

it feels so weird to have been gifted chocolate, especially from you — he wasn’t sure why it did either. the two of you were somewhat close, and hitoya considered you ‘tolerable’, i guess

but goddammit! why’d his chest act up, his heart did a flip, when you gave him the chocolates. they could’ve been obligatory for all he knew, even if they were so obviously homemade

ugh, he needs a drink to sort this all out. he feels like a mess, both inside and out

sasara

he’s shocked, but a good shocked! sasara is pretty expressive i think, so you can definitely see it on his face in real time as he goes from surprise to being flattered

gahh, his heart is full to bursting from getting chocolates from you, and he definitely expresses that. his smile seems a bit bright, and sasara is definitely a little loud with it, not too much though (maybe he throws in a pun or two..or even a flirt)

but really though, it puts him in a great mood, to get chocolates from you (especially if they’re homemade). his jokes and routine seemed to flow naturally that night, and he’s as funny as ever. sasara feels at his best

and your chocolates were the perfect reward for after. they’re not too sweet, a bit bitter from the darkness actually, but sasara enjoys them. they’re super good, especially with the warmth that spreads and resounding of his heart in his ears

sasara is left with many thoughts, especially about you. they all feel too good though, and sasara is sure he comes to a conclusion

you were so precious to him

rosho

he trips over his words and can’t seem to get a sentence out when you hand him chocolates. he’s beyond in disbelief, at a loss of words

i mean, rosho’s super grateful! but also, what the fuck. he totally wasn’t expecting anything from you, who held so much more significance and meaning than any of the chocolates he’s received from coworkers (for some strange reason..)

it’s kinda cute how red his ears get though, and he’s super flustered. he also can’t say much without making him out to be a fool (in rosho’s eyes anyway)

it shouldn’t be much of a big deal, maybe, especially if it was only obligatory chocolate; but rosho can’t help but feel all muddled up and confused inside

it’s..frustrating to him a little, trying to make sense of all these feelings. all he knows is that it felt good, much so, when you gifted him the chocolates

well, he had until white day to figure it out

rei

well, it’s amusing for him, certainly

he’s not exactly the type to receive anything for valentine’s day, of course, and it’s not like rei cared much about the day anyway

but, he still couldn’t help but appreciate your gesture. you went out of your way to gift him chocolates on valentine’s of all days. it’s cute, especially with how shy you looked gifting him it (maybe it earned a little chuckle out of him too)

it’s still a little strange to rei, though, when it came to himself. this feeling is difficult to explain, but it’s familiar to a degree. he’s not entirely oblivious to it all, but some things still aren’t all too clear

he can’t entirely bring himself to finish the box of chocolates though, for some reason

things are certainly a bit more muddled between the two of you after

Temple Kitten ~ *Kuko Harai*

Summary: At the temple, Kuko finds a stray kitten. As it follows him around, he starts to seriously consider getting a temple cat.

Now, it’s not that Kuko didn’t like animals. It’s just that he was far too busy to take care of a pet. But when he noticed the little orange kitten sniffing around the temple, he seriously considered keeping it.

For starters, it didn’t have a collar. It also seemed to follow him as he did his chores. It felt like fate. Not that he’d admit that out loud. Instead he continued to work while keeping an eye on the kitten, making sure it was safe and taken care of.

When he took a break for lunch, he got a small bowl of water and fed it a bit of his sandwich. He laughed as it tried to steal more and scolded it playfully. Perhaps taking care of a cat wouldn’t be so hard. Besides, a temple cat could keep away the mice.

“What do you say?” He asked the kitten squirming in his lap. “Think you’d want to stay?”

Sure he felt a little silly for talking to it, but he swore the kitten understood what he asked. It practically purred with delight. This just made Kuko’s heart melt.

“Well, you’re going to need a name. How about-”

“Mao! Mao, where are you?”

Looking up, Kuko saw a very pretty individual looking around frantically. However, upon seeing him, they sighed with relief. He backed up a step as they bounded towards him.

“Oh Mao! There you are!” They smiled at him. “Thank you so very much for finding him! I’ve been looking everywhere for him!”

He nodded slowly. “Yeah…”

“How can I ever repay you?”

Kuko shrugged. If he was feeling more petty than he already was, he’d ask for a new temple cat from them. But he kept his mouth shut.

Looking down at Mao, they said. “Well, Mao is the runt of the litter of kittens that were born a couple days ago. I can’t give him to you. But if you want one, you can have one. I can’t take care of all eight by myself, plus their mother.”

He hoped he didn’t look too eager as he answered, “Well, this temple could use a temple cat.”

Kuko could practically see the hearts in their eyes. “Oh my goodness that would be adorable! Yes, you’re taking one now! I’ll let you pick! My house isn’t far.”

Well it got him out of work, plus he got a free kitten.

As he followed them home, he asked, “What kind of name is Mao anyway?”

“Oh, it’s Chinese for cat.”

“That’s dumb.”

“Then I probably shouldn’t tell you that I named the other kittens Cat in different languages.”

He gave you an incredulous look. “Really?”

They nodded. “Yep! Mao, Katze, Gata, Chat, Neko, Goyong-i, Billee, and Maur.”

“Wow.” He paused. “I want Neko.”
