"What did you say now?" you asked the red head.

"Nothing serious!" he replied. "Argh! I just told him I'd make bacon out of his pig and he started crying!"

The two of you stared at each other.

"You've never seen Amanda before?" Kuko asked you, even more confused than you were. "I was so sure that he'd show you out of all people... ugh, whatever."

He stormed out of the building, leaving you on your own. You sighed and continued on your way to where Hitoya and Jyushi were.

“(Y/N), sorry, but could you comfort Jyushi for me? It’s already been an hour, and I feel like you could do better to console him.”

“Yeah, sure, no problem,” you said. Nowadays, it’s you who has been consoling Jyushi. When you first met him, you would have never guessed that he was a big crybaby due to the persona he holds up. However, you didn’t care. If this was the real him, you’ll continue to love him nonetheless.

“Thank you, (Y/N). I’ll leave you to it.”

Hitoya left the room as you crouched down. Jyushi was sat on the floor, his eyes spilling with soft tears.

“Jyushi~” you soothed, patting his arm in reassurance. “Kuko told me what he had said to you. He was joking, you know? He wouldn’t cook your pig…”

Jyushi sniffled. He heard this all from Hitoya already, but hearing you say these things caused him to worry less. He had taken a liking to you after all, and your presence alone made him relax a bit.

“But I’m not sure what this pig plushie is… Kuko said that you carry her around with you everywhere. Was her name Amanda? I’ve never seen you with her.”

Jyushi was quiet for a moment. Then he nodded and said, “Mhmm… I thought you’d find it weird if I showed her to you… hic… so I’d hide her away whenever you’re near…”

He pulled out Amanda that he hid away in his lap. She was just a normal pig plushie that was decorated with a green ruff around the neck, buttons for eyes, and a black and red jester hat.

“Please don’t make fun of me—”

“Aww, she’s cute!” you squealed. “She fits your aesthetic so well!”

You gave Amanda a boop on the snout.

Jyushi was surprised by your reaction. “Eh?” he uttered.

You continued, “Though, I’m confused why you’d think I’d make fun of you, Jyushi. I’m not Kuko. In fact, I have a plushie of my own that I carry with me in my bag everyday too!”

You fished through your bag, pulling out a little bear plushie. It was brown and fluffy, wearing a little smile on its face, but the most prominent feature of your plushie was its sparkly eyes.

“‘Hi, I’m Mr. Sparkle!’” you said in your teddy’s voice.

Jyushi was astonished. He stopped crying at how shocked he was to find out that you, his crush, also carried a plushie around. He didn’t expect you to be the kind to bring one wherever you went too! You were just like him!

“Now the two can be friends!” you chirped. “‘Hi, Amanda, I’m Mr. Sparkle.’”

He was beginning to laugh.

“‘Hello there, Mr. Sparkle,’” Jyushi greeted with Amanda’s voice.

You were glad he had stopped crying. You watched him giggle happily as he played along with you and your plushie. His smile warmed your heart. You wanted him to smile like this more often than to see him cry.

As he was about to say something, you made your plushie peck him on the cheek, making a little kiss sound effect with it.

“(Y-Y/N)?!”

“What?”

“W-What was that?”

“Hmm?” you giggled, pretending to be oblivious. “Oh, you mean this?”

You took his hand in yours, making him stand up. As your fingers intertwined with his, you suggested that the two of you take pictures of your plushies together in the streets of Nagoya.

How their division teammates are effected by your breakup - headcanons

Ichiro, Sasara, Jyushi

Ichiro

Jiro and Saburo still ask of you. He hasn’t told them that you’re never going to go to one of Jiro’s football games again. He doesn’t have the heart to tell Saburo there’s never going to be another chess rematch between you two.

Seeing the effect your presence had on his brothers is almost too overwhelming to bear. He feels guilty not telling them of your break up, but he knows he’d feel even guiltier if they knew it was his fault they’d never see you again.

When the two call out to you in the streets, excitedly yelling your name as Ichiro internally cries in the background- you look away. Seeing the excitement in their eyes die out and hurt settle in at the realization is one of the worst things Ichiro’s ever seen.

Sasara

Rosho looks at him and guilt from years past resurfaces. Sasara’s reaction is all too similar to one of years past. Denial of pain, overcompensating with humor, and binging of harmful habits. Rosho can’t help but feel helpless. He can’t even be mad at you, after all he did the same to Sasara once before.

Rei sees Sasara and feels partial guilt for playing into his bad habits. He doesn’t know how to comfort him other than offering to pay for drinks or a meal- so they go out more than they already did.

When he’s drunk, Sasara spills it all. The hurt, the pain, the old happy memories. Rei and Rosho wonder if there’s hope for you two to rekindle your love, all so they can see their friend smile once more.

Jyushi

Hitoya is the one that immediately notices his change of behavior. No matter how much effort he puts into his Chuuni persona, the underlying message of his words is clear.

He tries his best to cheer him up, just like he did before. He tells Jyushi stories of his own romance troubles but it only seems to remind him of old memories. He takes Jyushi out to places, but again it just reminds him of things he used to do with you.

Kuko wants to confront you for breaking his friends heart- Hitoya having to physically hold him back from stomping to your house and challenging you to a rap battle. Both of them just hate seeing Jyushi this way, and want to do everything they can to help him feel just a bit better.

Bonus

Dice notices that Gentaro doesn’t tease him as much ever since you broke up with him. Maybe it’s a win that he’s not being exploited just to get some cash- but it’s odd seeing the eccentric writer solemn and distant. Ever since you left, it seemed like Gentaro forgot how to have fun with life.

Samatoki’s stubbornness is the biggest source of pain for Jyuto. Samatoki grumbles whenever he sees something that even reminds him of you- which unfortunately is a lot of things. Which were once associated with fluff and happiness- now linked with bitterness of a love lost. It makes Jyuto’s job much, much more difficult, much to his annoyance.

Ichiro makes a small comment about Jiro not staying out as late anymore. Saburo follows it up saying that he noticed Jiro stopped making such large lunches for school. It makes Jiro stop eating, pausing as he thinks of an excuse. Of course, his brothers didn’t know of his secret romance. And they didn’t know of your secret break up either.

So Hitoya begrudgingly helps him out and teaches him what he needs to know

And because Kuko has been causing trouble

He has him help out as well

As sort of an atonement for making the other God’s clean up his messes

It’s because of inexperienced Jyushi that the three become a rag-tag trio

He starts out making a lot of mistakes and crying too much

But ever so slowly he starts to get the hang of being a God of Darkness

He can perform some basic magic

Nothing too fancy but he still excited every time it works

One thing he’ll never get used to is offerings

He doesn’t think he’s special enough for presents

Kuko usually steals them and Hitoya makes him give them back

Now that he has an idea of what’s expected of him

He can start actually being a God

That’s not to say he doesn’t need help

He’s going to need all the help he can get

Especially if he catches the eye of one of the higher up’s demigods…

Hitoya Amaguni

It should be no surprise he’s the God of Order

He’s also one of the higher up Gods

Hitoya is pretty important

So he’s tasked with keeping some of the lower Gods in line

Two of them are Jyushi and Kuko

And he’s got his work cut out for him

For starters, Kuko can’t be tamed

Not yet anyways

And Jyushi…

Jyushi is a child compared to the other lower Gods he takes care of

He doesn’t have time to be some kind of babysitter

But it’s one of his duties as a higher God

So he does it with as much grace and humility as he can muster

And he won’t admit it but Kuko and Jyushi make him laugh

He’s always giving them advice and pieces of wisdom he thinks will help

Jyushi at least listens to him

Kuko will never listen no matter what he tries

He also shows them simple magic that’ll make their jobs easier

And after all the trials and tribulations they put him through

It’s only fair he gets some kind of recognition right?

Something or someone to tell him he’s doing a good job trying to control these demons

Well…

At least the God he’s taken a liking to seems to think so…

A/N: This one was so cute! I wrote it so that the reader is a single parent and Jyushi is their 4 year old kid just going to school for the first time! I hope this is okay since I know you said baby but I wasn't sure how to write a scenario for a baby haha but I hope you enjoy~

“Hey buddy, how was your first day of pre-school?” you asked, reaching out to ruffle the hair of your four-year-old son. Jyushi shyly smiled up at you and nodded as he slowly walked to your side.

“It was okay,” he said in a half-whisper. You reached down to hold your hand out and Jyushi took it, using his free hand to grab tightly onto his backpack strap.

“Yea? What did you guys do?” you asked, waving goodbye to his teacher and mouthing a ‘thank you’. She smiled and waved back at you, reassuring you that all went well that day.

You had been nervous to drop Jyushi off for his first day of school. Since there was nobody else around to help you take care of him, it really had just been the two of you together. You couldn’t remember the last time the two of you were separated aside from a few hours of day care, and although it was nice to be able to schedule work again to do a full-time job, you had been worrying about leaving him at school.

Despite your fears though, it seemed to have worked out alright. Jyushi had been crying when you dropped him off, but he seemed okay now so something must have gone right.

“We did some coloring…and puzzles,” Jyushi mused, as if he were deep in thought. You nodded down at him and hummed along.

That morning, you had dressed Jyushi in his favorite blue shirt and a nice pair of jeans. Now, those clothes looked worn out, and you could tell they were a bit dirty, most likely from when the kids were running around during recess. He patted his clothes down in place and you smiled at his tendency to make sure he was still put together.

“Well that sounds like a lot of fun!” you exclaimed, stopping at the crosswalk. You looked down at your son to find him staring up at you with big blue eyes. “Did you make any new friends?” you asked, your voice softening a bit. There was something in his gaze that looked almost sad and it hurt your heart to think about him being in any amount of pain.

“No…not really,” Jyushi responded with a small sniffle. You pulled out a tissue that you had stuffed in your jacket pocked for this exact reason and squatted down so that you were just a bit taller than eye level with your son.

“It’s okay, baby. I’m sure you’ll make new friends as the year goes on, okay? This was just the first day,” you reassured him, wiping away at his eyes and nose before pressing a kiss onto his forehead. He looked like he could burst into tears at any moment, and although the crosswalk was green, you took another moment with him.

“Okay,” he sadly said, turning away from you. You held back the urge to throw your arms around him, wanting to wrap your arms around him protectively and never let go. It was so difficult to send him out into a world of hurt and pain, knowing that you could keep him with you at home and not have to worry about any of that.

But you didn’t want that for Jyushi either.

You wanted him to grow and learn, to make friends and go through the ups and downs of being a kid and eventually being a teenager. You knew that it was going to be difficult but you hadn’t exactly known just how tough it was going to be until now. So you pressed another kiss to his cheek and took a deep breath.

“Jyushi,” you said, making him turn towards you. “I promise you that by the end of the week you’ll have a new friend,” you declared. His eyes widened a bit in excitement, and you couldn’t stop the smile from growing on your lips.

“Really? I’ll have a new friend?” he asked, hopeful and with innocent, child-like wonder. You nodded to him and reassured him that he would, watching as his mouth twitched slightly. “What if no one wants to be my friend?” he asked, his eyes dropping a bit. It was amazing how expressive he could be for such a young kid.

“You will. I’ll make you a friend myself if I have to,” you said with determination. Your sewing skills were a bit lackluster, but if Jyushi hadn’t made a friend by the end of the week, you were sure you could stitch him something small and cute to be his new friend. Maybe a stuffed bear or a stuffed dog.

Or perhaps a stuffed pig.

“Pinky promise?” Jyushi asked, very seriously as he held out his tiny pinky to you. You had to stop from awing in cuteness at the small size of his hands as you nodded and held out your own, much larger pinky and wrapped it around his.

“Pinky promise,” you told him, shaking on it. After your pinky promise, Jyushi seemed to perk up quite a bit and excitedly walked the rest of the way home with you.

You were happy that he could be his loud, dramatic self even if it was just with you. There wasn’t a doubt in your mind that he would make friends, if not now then maybe later in life and that they would be true friends that would stand by his side, supporting him and making him feel confident enough to do anything he wanted.

And you were certain that you would be there to support him right alongside them every step of the way.

Aimono Jyushi:

Jyushi could actually scream. He had romantic daydreams floating around his head for hours at a time, he had always thought his first kiss with you would be perfectly thought out... Not this travesty! He wants to declare a re-do but he knows that might sound too dramatic and you might think it’s simply because he didn’t want to kiss you when nothing could be less true than that. He mumbled out a weak apology, begging for your forgiveness and hoping you could both just forget this happened so he can replace a much sweeter first kiss when the time was right.

Nurude Sasara:

Sasara’s life had always been a set of hilarious events, more adventures meant more content for his comedy routines so he always encouraged the unexpected. He could have gone without this though, his long, almost gangly limbs moving without him even thinking about it. When you had swooped in to save him like the superhero you were he had looked up to sheepishly thank you, the joke dying on his lips when they brushed against yours. You both just stared at each other, blinking in time with each other before you started to giggle; the sound put him at ease, finally opening his mouth as he said he hit a new prideful milestone, able to make you laugh without having to say a word.

Yamada Saburo:

Saburo breaks out into a cold sweat. He hadn’t even been thinking about kissing you, not in that moment at least. He couldn’t lie and say that the thought had never crossed his mind but his little heart wasn’t prepared for the reality of that feeling. It’s even worse that you don’t say anything after the accidental kiss, just staring at him with wide eyes before touching your lips; he mirrored your movements, not sure if that moment was even real, only having the illusion shattered when Jiro called out for him to hurry up. He doesn’t say another word but he’s already drafting the apology text as he turned away from you, hoping his brothers can’t see his embarrassment written all over his face.

Yumeno Gentaro:

Gentaro had always maintained a careful distance. His interest in you was a secret, as far as he was concerned, even if you could assume he liked you from the fact he requested you each time he came into the restaurant you worked at. Seeing you outside of work had been enough of a surprise, but having to hide from rabid fans was the next, pulling you along with him without considering it might be easier to leave you be. Cramming into a tiny space with you was about his fifth mistake of the day, but when he turned to ask if you were alright he realized he had sorely misjudged the distance left between you.

He's such a babe guy OHHHH my goodness he's such a babe guy. Maybe he'll throw a baby in there too but he throws out babe like it's your second name. It sounds so sweet and casual coming from his mouth you can just hear the smile dripping from it.

"Babe, come here for a sec!" Ichiro calls from the kitchen. With a hm in reply, you come in and see him doing nothing but stand there. You go to ask him why he called you over- only for him to bring you into a warm hug. "I just wanted to hug you baby," he says, kissing your cheeks as you chuckle.

Jiro

Jiro strikes me as the type to only call you cute nicknames as a ploy to get you annoyed. He'll snicker as he calls you his 'pookie little sunshine bear' in front of all your friends and run away cackling as you chase him down. In private he'll be more soft- picking up 'babe' just like his brother calls you.

"Hey darling little sweetie pumpkin bear pie?" He asks you with the most innocent eyes and you glare at him with the fury of a thousand suns. Your friends laugh behind you and you make a promise to get him back later. Later comes with you tickling him with no mercy in the confines of his bedroom. Through fits of laughter and cries he yells, "Babe! Babe! Stop! Please!" Too bad though, maybe he shouldn't have been such a dick :P

Saburo

He's into the classics. More so- he simply calls you by your name cause he's a bit too embarrassed to call you anything else. Once he tried to call you 'babe' like he's heard his brothers do but it sounded so foreign coming from his mouth he'd rather you forget it ever happened.

"H-hey, b-baabeee~" Saburo says, trying to sound suave and immediately regretting it. You're not sure you heard him correctly, sounding more like a squeaking door rather than an actual sentence. "What did you say Sabu?" "N-Nothing!"

He calls you classy shit like doll, honey, love. He's so sickly sweet when he calls you these pet names that you can't help the fluster that comes to your cheeks whenever he says it.

You're just about to go to bed, Samatoki already laying down. He's half asleep so you try and get in without much attention. As you fix yourself in bed, his hand finds yours and he stirs in his sleep. "G'night, love," he mutters, voice husk with tiredness. He falls back asleep quickly, unaware of the warmth spreading in your smile.

Jyuto

mjmjmjmjmmhmmhmgmmg he's so annoying. He's gonna pull out all the stops in an attempt to get you flustered but he's so smug and obvious with it that it makes you laugh. I know people consider Jyuto this sex god type beast but in my mind but I cannot imagine him as anything other than a pathetic house plant type of man.

He's leaning over the counter of the bar, sliding a drink he just bought your way. "Why hello there, dream boat," His eyes watch you from behind his glasses to see if you'll give the reaction he desires. "Mmmmm, try better next time, love," you wink back at him and he flusters instead. "Wh- why can't you just play along," he sighs, adjusting his tie and looking down bashfully.

Rio

In my previous writing for Rio I had him call his partner "dear" and I think it's so applicable to him!! He's a classic type guy and him calling you dear is just fjdafjsdkfdsj cute!

At the grocery store you always have to ask him to reach for the items at the top of the shelves. Even if you can reach it yourself it's nice to see how sweet he is whenever he hands the items to you. "Ah, Rio can you grab that pasta up there." "This one dear?" Rio perks up, holding the box in the air. "Yep! Thanks, love."

AAAA RAMU!! He's gonna call you all the sweets. Sweetie-pie, sweetheart, sweetie, etc etc. Augh he'll even throw out a cutie in there when he's feeling like it. When in private and in intimacy, he'll call you such sweet affectionate terms like dear and love to show just how much he cares.

Ramuda hovers above you. The sheets tickle against bare skin and he intertwines your hands. "You look absolutely wonderful," he says, a smile spreading along his face. Your face flusters at the ever closening proximity between you two as he bends down. "Thank you for making my whole world, love," your lips connect within the darkness of your bedroom.

Gentaro

In public, he'll call you the most complex, cutesy, annoying nicknames when referring to you. Just cause he likes the reaction of the people around him- looks of ludicrousness and cringe. In private, he's not the type to pull a 'baby' or 'honey'. But he is the type to pull out daarin, which translates similarly to "my darling."

Gentaro's awake in the early mornings of the day. While you're still in bed, he's preparing tea for the two of you to share. You start to wake when he sets up a table beside you. "Ah, good morning, my darling," he greets you with a warm smile.

Dice

Similarly to Ichi, Dice is also a babe guy. He's always calling you with the widest smile on his face and a cheery tone to show just how much he cares. He totally calls you babe on social media whenever he posts you two like the sicko he is.

Your phone rings in your pocket and a smile comes on your face when you see the caller. "Hey? What's up?" You say to your boyfriend on the other line. "Baaaaabe-" he starts off and you roll your eyes playfully. "Can you pick me up? I don't have enough money left for the train fair..." "Of course, baby," you say. In reply you get a bunch of fast paced thank yous and smoochie noises over the phone.

Matenrou

Jakurai

He calls you angel cause you're his angel <3. His light in life, the star in his sky. He's such a sickly sweet romantic it's gross and yucky BLAH !

It was a hot day in Shinjuku and you were sitting in front of the house fan, trying to cool yourself off. Home alone for the time being, Jakurai was expected to come back with takeout. It was wayyyy to hot to fire up the stove. As if on cue, the door opens and Jakurai holds a teddy bear patterned reusable bag filled with cold soba and iced drinks. Still in the doorway he calls out to you, "I'm home, angel!"

Hifumi

Hifumi's the type to default to a lot of food based pet names. Pudding, honey, pumpkin, sugar, etc etc. He never calls you these in public, instead calling you by name around people. But in private, he's happy to call you all the sickly sweet food based names he can think of!

Doppo's out of the apartment today and you're visiting your boyfriend. He's cooking up a meal as you sit by him, talking about your day. "Ah yeah, the trains were closed earlier- something about flooding cause of the rain yesterday..." you say, fiddling with a cup of water. "Did you take a cab instead then, honey-bun?" Hifumi doesn't even look at you as he says the term of endearment, focused on the hot pan in front of him. It just spills out so naturally, alongside the accompanying smile on his face.

Doppo

Doppo doesn't really use nicknames- also finding it embarrassing when they slip past his lips. Though, deep down he really really really wants to call you these names! He wishes to be the type that can call his lover baby, love, dear, sweetie, etc etc. Though, they only really slip out when he gets a bit toooo tipsy.

Doppo's head rests on your shoulder on the train ride home. You, as the designated guide for both Doppo and Hifumi after you three went out drinking in the streets of Shinjuku, held onto their arms as you tried to stop them from collapsing on the floor. Doppo murmurs, trying to bat your hand away from holding onto Hifumi in annoyance. "Mmmmm, baby stop holding onntoo him you- HIC- you're mine..." Doppo nuzzles himself into your neck. You silently thank the late night as the train car was basically empty at this time. "I'm the love of yer life... not him..." It'd be a cute memory if Hifumi didn't vomit on the floor as soon as you stepped out the station.

Bad Ass Temple

Kuko

Kuko thinks of you as his little baby, no matter how annoying as it may come off. He loves being really cutesy with you, calling you his baby wherever he can. He's just silly like that!

You're sweeping the floor around his family's temple- gathering the falling leaves that come with the new season. You originally came to hang out with your boyfriend but he was no where to be found (probably procrastinating on sweeping the floor). The quietness is nice, you decide as you enjoy the peaceful change of pace. When a heavy presence hugs you from the back you start attacking it with the broom. "AHHHHH! BABY NO! BABY STOP WHAT ARE- OW! OW!" Kuko screams, disrupting the peace from before.

Jyushi

He's so cute I love him. He calls you all the terms of endearment relating to beauty, handsomeness, etc etc. If you're fem he'll call you princess (HE'S SUCH A PRINCESS GUY RIGHT GUYS???). But his general petname for you no matter your gender is gonna be 'dear.' Cause he's just so cute like that.

After one of his concerts you meet him backstage. He jumps into your arms, still in his stage uniform and makeup. But still, he’s your Jyushi. And your Jyushi peppers kisses all over your face as soon as you find some alone time. “Did you see me? Did you think I looked totally cool up there dear?” He’s excited, riding off the high from his performance. He’s smiling, radiating and you can’t help but reply with a yes, of course.

Hitoya

He's like Jyuto in he intentionally tries to be suave but unlike Jyuto, he actually succeeds. He calls you cutie cause he just thinks you're so adorable- all the time.

Its' the morning and he's about to leave. You fix his tie at the door, something he always chides you for doing for but never actually stops you from doing. It's a quiet morning and you fill the air with a hum. "And... all done, Mr. Bigshot Lawyer." A break from mundane routine, Hitoya hugs you and brings his face to your neck, speaking into it. "Thanks, cutie." You push him out the door before he can tease you about the flush on your cheeks.

Dotsuitare Hompo

Sasara

SASARAA MY BABY MY BABY. Out of the goodness of my heart, totally unbiased, Sasara is a total romantic UGH. He's the type to pull shit like "my partner," "my baby," "my love," UGHHHHHH I love him.

He comes home slurred, tipsy from a night of celebration with Rosho and Rei. Dotsuitare Hompo just passed their qualifying match to compete in the DRB and they couldn't be more excited. Sasara's drunken state results in 3 things- him struggling to open the door to your shared home, him buying you a several gifts from his night out, and him dropping several gifts on the floor as he tries to open the door. You hear commotion outside and open the door hesitantly. "Hello...?" You call, before you see your partner at the other side. "My baby!" Sasara screams, pulling you outside into a hug.

Rosho

Rosho's a pretty simple man. He doesn't want to overdo it with nicknames (unlike someone he knows) and he doesn't want to be so closed off you question his affection for you. He defaults to a simple "love" when referring to or from you- because that's all he feels for you.

He's grading papers and muttering to himself as he corrects the wrongs and praises the rights. Rosho's hand is in his hair as he whispers to himself. You walk into the living room, where he sits on the floor in front of the TV. Frowning at the messy state you find your partner in so late at night, you sit down beside him rest your head on his shoulder. "Ah- hello there, love," he smiles, a hand coming to your head to pat it. "Rest well."

Jyushi Aimono x fem!reader

Seeing a flower growing at Kugen Temple, Jyushi just had to pick it. How could he not when it was so pretty? Kuko had called him previously for some training but was waiting on Hitoya to arrive. Hopefully...

Sitting on the grass outside of the temple, he placed the pretty white flower in his lap next to Amanda with a smile.

" Amanda! Isn't the flower pretty? " He held up the worn, stuffed pig with a bright expression on his face. " I hope Kuko isn't angry with me because I picked the flower... " He lowered Amanda back down, sitting her on the grass beside him.

Minutes passed by, the occasional arguing could be heard between Shakku and Kuko somewhere close by in the temple as Jyushi sat in the grass, quietly.

" Oi! Jyushi! I'm going to get that asshole lawyer! " Kuko yelled from across the grass as he was already heading out of the temple. " I'll be back real soon! "

" Eh?! O-Okay! " Was all he managed to respond with as Kuko disappeared out of the temples walls and then it was silent. The wind rustling the leaves and birds chirping was the only noise that surrounded him.

Another gust of wind blew past him, pushing all his hair back from his face. Scrunching his face up as the harsh gust blew, nearly taking the flower with it as well as pushing Amanda over as she sat in the grass behind him.

" Ah-! Oh no... Amanda! " Frantically, he grabbed the stem of the flower and Amanda before the wind came to a stop again. " Ahh.. I'm sorry, Amanda! " He apologized to the plushie as he set her on his lap for safe keeping. Holding up the flower he had grabbed with his other hand, he looked at it for a moment. " Ah! Umura told me about something I can do with the flower! " He looked down at Amanda. " He said I have to pluck each petal and then whatever I end with on the last petal is true! It's supposed to tell you if someone loves- " His face got red.

If someone loves him. You. If you love him.

" Ah! Okay! I'll do it, Amanda! " He had a determined look on his face as he held up the flower now. Carefully plucking each petal off, mumbling to himself as he did so. " Sh- She loves me... She loves me not... "

As he got to the last petal, he was about ready to pluck it. " ...She- She loves- me..?! " He retracted his hand from the petal as his face turned red. Looking down at the previous petals he had plucked that were now covering Amanda. " She loves m-me?! " He squeaked out, looking at the flower in disbelief.

" Jyushi! The hell are you doing? Who loves you? " Kukos hand suddenly landed on Jyushi's head, pressing down as if to make his presence even more known.

" Eh?! K-Kuko?! " He turned quickly to look up at him and Hitoya who stood behind him. " Nothing- I- I was- " His shocked, reddening face was enough to give away his embarrassment.

" ...Whatever the hell you were doin', put it down! We've got trainin' to do! " Kuko turned on his heel, making his way towards the temple interior, leaving Jyushi alone for a brief moment.

She... loves him! He held the flower close to his chest for a moment, a happy smile on his face as he cherished the flower for telling him such a thing.

" Jyushi!! "

" Ah! Coming, Kuko! "

Gentaro

-Honestly? It's amuse him a little

-You're so soft and sensitive, crying over things which he wouldn't even pay attention to

-It's interesting to him, as he look at your red cheeks and little tears after you see some sad ad of animal shelter with bunch of puppies

-Of course he will comfort you, even if it's something small, hugging you and telling that everything will be okay

-But he also can't help but tease you a little, just to see you priceless reaction

-He has a good imagination and also a bad habit of fool everyone around so of course he will lie to you too, trying to hide his smirk as you look at him with such adorable wide eyes, absolutely confused

-But he's not heartless, and he can say when you just cry over nothing or when you're actually sad and something happened

-Will be more gentle and soft with you in this days, listen carefully to understand what happened

-"Shh.. Here, I'm here with you now, my precious fawn.. Let me hear everything that bothers your little heart"

-If you need an advice, he will give you some, but if you just want to forget this situation he will tell you some fairytales as he cuddles you, his soft hands caressing your back and play with your hair

Jyushi

-Oh!! So you're like him!

-He can be pretty sensitive too, overreacting to small things so he would totally understand you when you feel sad without particular reason!

-So you relationship is like a circle with two points - when he's too soft and needs comfort, and vice versa, when he's give your comfort as you cry softly if his arms

-He will never tease you about this, but will help you get more mature and serious, as he himself wants to ended up with this bad habit

-So now, when you have each other it would be much easier, as he always know he can ask for support from you and always ready to soothe you when you need something like that

-Always gently hugging you, promising to protect you from all bad things as you two lie down in his bed

-When he's in his pompous mood he will cup your cheeks gracefully, looking at you with little smile

-Even in his charming form he will be still soft and caring, promise you that everything will be great in next day, as night will take away all problems from your life

Sasara

-It's confuse him a little how can you be so soft, but in the same time, it's so cute

-He always trying to look at things on positive light so everytime he see that you're about to cry he will quickly start a little show, making new puns up on the spot

-Doesn't matter where you are, in cafe, in street or in his house, he can make a joke about anything that will catch his eye just to make you giggle

-Will not tease you about this, it's just part of your personality, and he accept that

-But of course he will try to make you more stoic, reminds you everyday that there's bunch of good things around, and you should pay attention to them

-"Look? Aren't today is a good day? The weather is just great... Hey, you know? Everyone thinks the sun is too heavy to carry, but really it is very light~"

-Well of course he will listen to you more carefully when you actually sad, not because you see a small birdie all alone without her mom, but because you have some problems

-No jokes, just you on his laps as he hug you very tightly, let you cry on his chest as he soothe you

-Even if it's gonna take the whole evening, he's here for you, sitting and listening to you as long as you need

Jakurai

-How can you be so precious and sensitive?

-He just can't hide his little smile as he look at your adorable sad face

-It's make his soul melt and his heart ache, you just so much softer than him, your vision of world is amaze him a little bit

-It's also reminds him that he also should be more emotional sometimes, he get used to be calm and serious, but honestly.. Seeing you talk so open about things that makes you sad makes him also try to open his heart

-Always here to listen, it's interesting to him how such small things can make you worry so much

-As he let you sit on his laps, his slender fingers running through your hair, caressing your back or just softly holding your hands, you can cry as much as you want, telling him everything

-He always will give you some advices if you cry over something serious, and always comfort you a little when you just in bad mood and can't hold your tears

-Will talk with you in his deep soothing voice, maybe even sing a little to you as he cradle you gently

-"Darling, look at me.. It's good that you have such a kind sensitive heart, but it's makes me sad to see you crying like this.. Try to smile sometimes, okay?"

-Probably start to be a little bit more overprotective, he just can't resist the urge to protect you from anything that can makes you sad

valentine’s day 💕 pt. 3 (bad ass temple and dotsuitare hompo)

kuko

huh? was this for him??

kuko is a little bewildered when you just hand him the chocolate, shy or not. he’s a bit slow on it, but when it hits, he does cackle and grin. you shouldn’t have!

how cute — he teases you about it, a bit too much perhaps. really, it’s all a bit flustering and confusing for him as well

but ah, he’s confused on what to do. kuko’s left scratching his head, wondering what it all meant. i mean, he did know, but it’s still so strange when it happens to him

ughh, the way his body reacts is a pain too. he gets those stupid heart flutters when he realizes all too well that you had gifted him chocolate on valentine’s of all days. why’d you have to do him like that? it’s irritating, dealing with all these annoying emotions

what a pain in the ass. he has to sort through all of himself again as well. i suppose it wasn’t all that bad though

jyushi

one word, of course: flustered. it’s pretty obvious

he kinda…short-circuits, visibly, when you hand him chocolates. he knows what this means all too well; and as much as jyushi tries to keep up his front, the cracks show when he gets all too warmed up

it’s all he thinks about for the rest of the day, missing a chord or two during practice because of it. he’s off his balance, and jyushi can’t help but bury his head into his pillow when he comes home to muffle his thoughts

hngg, everything was too much. your chocolates tasted way too good, and his mind was becoming too overwhelming. he felt all too strange and warm. again, it was all too much

he whines to amanda about what he should do, overtly emotional. why’d you give him chocolates? i mean, jyushi’s over the moon about it, but he still can’t help but wonder. he also can’t help but ponder on his feelings

jyushi knows this means he must give you something for white day, and come to terms with his feelings, eventually. but he’s sure he’ll just malfunction on the spot if he did so

hitoya

mm, he kinda freezes up? it’s clear that he doesn’t know what to do, visible on his (handsome) features

hitoya is, more or less, awkward about the entire thing. it wasn’t anything he was entirely prepared for, and hitoya is usually well prepared. it throws him off

it feels so weird to have been gifted chocolate, especially from you — he wasn’t sure why it did either. the two of you were somewhat close, and hitoya considered you ‘tolerable’, i guess

but goddammit! why’d his chest act up, his heart did a flip, when you gave him the chocolates. they could’ve been obligatory for all he knew, even if they were so obviously homemade

ugh, he needs a drink to sort this all out. he feels like a mess, both inside and out

sasara

he’s shocked, but a good shocked! sasara is pretty expressive i think, so you can definitely see it on his face in real time as he goes from surprise to being flattered

gahh, his heart is full to bursting from getting chocolates from you, and he definitely expresses that. his smile seems a bit bright, and sasara is definitely a little loud with it, not too much though (maybe he throws in a pun or two..or even a flirt)

but really though, it puts him in a great mood, to get chocolates from you (especially if they’re homemade). his jokes and routine seemed to flow naturally that night, and he’s as funny as ever. sasara feels at his best

and your chocolates were the perfect reward for after. they’re not too sweet, a bit bitter from the darkness actually, but sasara enjoys them. they’re super good, especially with the warmth that spreads and resounding of his heart in his ears

sasara is left with many thoughts, especially about you. they all feel too good though, and sasara is sure he comes to a conclusion

you were so precious to him

rosho

he trips over his words and can’t seem to get a sentence out when you hand him chocolates. he’s beyond in disbelief, at a loss of words

i mean, rosho’s super grateful! but also, what the fuck. he totally wasn’t expecting anything from you, who held so much more significance and meaning than any of the chocolates he’s received from coworkers (for some strange reason..)

it’s kinda cute how red his ears get though, and he’s super flustered. he also can’t say much without making him out to be a fool (in rosho’s eyes anyway)

it shouldn’t be much of a big deal, maybe, especially if it was only obligatory chocolate; but rosho can’t help but feel all muddled up and confused inside

it’s..frustrating to him a little, trying to make sense of all these feelings. all he knows is that it felt good, much so, when you gifted him the chocolates

well, he had until white day to figure it out

rei

well, it’s amusing for him, certainly

he’s not exactly the type to receive anything for valentine’s day, of course, and it’s not like rei cared much about the day anyway

but, he still couldn’t help but appreciate your gesture. you went out of your way to gift him chocolates on valentine’s of all days. it’s cute, especially with how shy you looked gifting him it (maybe it earned a little chuckle out of him too)

it’s still a little strange to rei, though, when it came to himself. this feeling is difficult to explain, but it’s familiar to a degree. he’s not entirely oblivious to it all, but some things still aren’t all too clear

he can’t entirely bring himself to finish the box of chocolates though, for some reason

things are certainly a bit more muddled between the two of you after
