Everyone knows Sasara Nurude loves okonomiyaki and hates monjayaki. Rei is well aware of his insistence. He knows from the first time he threw a fit like a toddler when Rei ordered monjayaki for their table to share. He knows from Sasara’s face when he opens his bento- joyous and excited- even if the okonomiyaki is a day old.

There isn’t much the public doesn’t know about him.

Sasara Nurude has one secret to him.

Rei doesn’t know of you- you who greets him at the end of particularly long days with a homemade spread of okonomiyaki and accompanying dishes. Samatoki doesn’t know of you- you who has been by his side since the break up of Mad Comic Dialogue. Who supported him as he made the effort to quit smoking. Who buys candies way before he’s set to run out. Who made him feel whole once a part of him went missing.

Rosho doesn’t know of you- you who comforts him during his lowest points. Who holds him at night when storms reign over- who let’s him hold you as tightly as he needs. Who texts him warnings if a storms coming to his area. Who meets him back at home with enough cuddles and kisses to make up for missed.

The public doesn’t know about Sasara Nurude’s beloved partner. Surprising- considering his loud mouth. But he would like to keep you his little secret, because Sasara Nurude wants just one thing to call his own.

a man with the most self control you'll ever see, Jakurai can go the whole month with no problems. He didn't get into a relationship with you to fuck you so it wasn't a problem at all. You might think asking him to finger or pleasure you during the month will affect him but he's completely unaffected by it. He'll follow through with the challenge no matter what you may try.

Sasara is busy with comedy work so he thought he'd complete it easily. Wrong. He finds your teasing amusing sometimes until you start getting physical. In the end, he can only last a little over half of the month.

how cute — he teases you about it, a bit too much perhaps. really, it’s all a bit flustering and confusing for him as well

but ah, he’s confused on what to do. kuko’s left scratching his head, wondering what it all meant. i mean, he did know, but it’s still so strange when it happens to him

he’s shocked, but a good shocked! sasara is pretty expressive i think, so you can definitely see it on his face in real time as he goes from surprise to being flattered

gahh, his heart is full to bursting from getting chocolates from you, and he definitely expresses that. his smile seems a bit bright, and sasara is definitely a little loud with it, not too much though (maybe he throws in a pun or two..or even a flirt)

but really though, it puts him in a great mood, to get chocolates from you (especially if they’re homemade). his jokes and routine seemed to flow naturally that night, and he’s as funny as ever. sasara feels at his best

and your chocolates were the perfect reward for after. they’re not too sweet, a bit bitter from the darkness actually, but sasara enjoys them. they’re super good, especially with the warmth that spreads and resounding of his heart in his ears

sasara is left with many thoughts, especially about you. they all feel too good though, and sasara is sure he comes to a conclusion

he trips over his words and can’t seem to get a sentence out when you hand him chocolates. he’s beyond in disbelief, at a loss of words

i mean, rosho’s super grateful! but also, what the fuck. he totally wasn’t expecting anything from you, who held so much more significance and meaning than any of the chocolates he’s received from coworkers (for some strange reason..)

it’s kinda cute how red his ears get though, and he’s super flustered. he also can’t say much without making him out to be a fool (in rosho’s eyes anyway)

“That’s because we both have taste.”

Sasara smiled at you. “Am I detecting a hint of jealousy from you? Say it isn’t so!”

Making a face, you smacked the back of his head hard. “I’m not jealous of shit! I’m just stating an observation, that’s all.”

“The observation being that you’re jealous?”

“I don’t know why I put up with your annoying ass.” Grabbing your jacket, you muttered, “I’m just going to go.”

Sasara grabbed your hand, chuckling. “No, c’mon! I didn’t mean to annoy you. Come on, stay.”

You glared at him. “You’re a real ass, you know that? I’m surprised the others in Dotsuitare Hompo don’t think the same way.”

He scoffed. “Oh I’m sure Rei hates me and I don’t blame him. I don’t trust him either. But Rosho is my friend. He loves me.”

“I’m sure he does.” You answered sarcastically. “And you probably love him more than me.”

You always came to your boyfriend’s shows; both those related to rap and his friends, as well as those related to his work as a comedian and stand-up artist. You liked the second thing in your own, special way.

You loved to watch from behind the scenes the audience laugh when he joke with them or telling funny anecdotes about life, work, sex and friendship. You always supported him and talked a lot with fox-eyed about his uncertainties, problems and you helped him at times when he lacked inspiration to write songs or come up with scenarios. That evening you also went with him to his next show in a row. They usually lasted up to three hours, but today they lasted an hour longer, but you were glad that Sasara was back in a flow of good jokes and lots of ideas. At ten o’clock in the evening, the man thanked his viewers for the nice time, then went backstage to the accompaniment of loud cheers and clapping. On the way he met you, of course, and gave you a short but affectionate kiss on the lips.

“I was amazing?” He asked with a childish smile and you nodded.

“Definitely.”

Somewhere between talking about the next show and the proposal to watch a movie tonight, Sasara began changing into slightly looser clothes. The man immediately noticed your joyful gaze, thanks to which a slight and sly smirk appeared on his face.

“Maybe you also undress?” He laughed lightly as he stepped closer to you. His warm hands landed on your hips, and then Sasara lifted you up a bit so you could sit on a dressing table full of cosmetics, perfumes and accessories. His thin fingers easily unfastened the buttons of the purple sweater you were wearing that evening.

The lacy black bra with silver details gave your man an even wider smile, which only made you giggle and your pretty eyes glittering.

“It’s a gift from me, isn’t it?”

“This is my favorite brassiere. Yes.”

The young man leaned forward, his lips giving a gentle kiss just below the line of your right ear. Then tender, wetter marks began to appear much lower – on the neck, shoulders and collarbones, and with a slight sigh you closed your eyelids letting yourself be carried away by the wonderful, intimate moment between the two of you.

"Because," you poked at him, "you love me and you're the best brother in the world!" It didn't hurt to butter him up. Sasara gave you his signature closed-eye grin.

"I am the best brother," he replied with a smug look on his face. You probably shouldn't feed his ego any more than needed. "But must you be in a ridiculous costume?"

"Oi! It's fun to cosplay, and I could comment on your choic of wardrobe," you shot back. "Plus, I think it's worth it to make people smile."

"You could become a comedian to make people smile," Sasara complained. "Then I wouldn't be doing the show by myself."

"My dear brother, I think you and I have different definitions of humor," you patted him on the back. Your hand reached for your water bottle in the bag you were carrying.

"I think it's time for me to go.. Or you will have no chance to relax.." - you giggle, whispering in Doppo's ear, placing a long forgotten box in his hands. - "Now go on and enjoy your break, okay, honey?"

"You really think it would be more enjoyable than such time with you..?" - he groans, frustrated, still with bright cheeks.

Amusing and pleasing people with jokes and puns was always so thrilling! Sasara gets even more happy and playful after his performances, sitting in his dressing room with a wild smile, already generating new fun things for his next show. When suddenly he hears the door crack.

"Hey.. How's my precious comedian doing..?" - your soft voice interrupted his thoughts yet he didn't mind. You're his girlfriend, after all, and small talk with you was even more thrilling and joyful.

"Absolutely wonderful.." - he turned in his chair to you with a small yawn and then giggled. - "I have seen you in a crowd.. I'm glad you're here to support me.."

How their division teammates are effected by your breakup - headcanons

Ichiro, Sasara, Jyushi

Ichiro

Jiro and Saburo still ask of you. He hasn’t told them that you’re never going to go to one of Jiro’s football games again. He doesn’t have the heart to tell Saburo there’s never going to be another chess rematch between you two.

Seeing the effect your presence had on his brothers is almost too overwhelming to bear. He feels guilty not telling them of your break up, but he knows he’d feel even guiltier if they knew it was his fault they’d never see you again.

When the two call out to you in the streets, excitedly yelling your name as Ichiro internally cries in the background- you look away. Seeing the excitement in their eyes die out and hurt settle in at the realization is one of the worst things Ichiro’s ever seen.

Sasara

Rosho looks at him and guilt from years past resurfaces. Sasara’s reaction is all too similar to one of years past. Denial of pain, overcompensating with humor, and binging of harmful habits. Rosho can’t help but feel helpless. He can’t even be mad at you, after all he did the same to Sasara once before.

Rei sees Sasara and feels partial guilt for playing into his bad habits. He doesn’t know how to comfort him other than offering to pay for drinks or a meal- so they go out more than they already did.

When he’s drunk, Sasara spills it all. The hurt, the pain, the old happy memories. Rei and Rosho wonder if there’s hope for you two to rekindle your love, all so they can see their friend smile once more.

Jyushi

Hitoya is the one that immediately notices his change of behavior. No matter how much effort he puts into his Chuuni persona, the underlying message of his words is clear.

He tries his best to cheer him up, just like he did before. He tells Jyushi stories of his own romance troubles but it only seems to remind him of old memories. He takes Jyushi out to places, but again it just reminds him of things he used to do with you.

Kuko wants to confront you for breaking his friends heart- Hitoya having to physically hold him back from stomping to your house and challenging you to a rap battle. Both of them just hate seeing Jyushi this way, and want to do everything they can to help him feel just a bit better.

Bonus

Dice notices that Gentaro doesn’t tease him as much ever since you broke up with him. Maybe it’s a win that he’s not being exploited just to get some cash- but it’s odd seeing the eccentric writer solemn and distant. Ever since you left, it seemed like Gentaro forgot how to have fun with life.

Samatoki’s stubbornness is the biggest source of pain for Jyuto. Samatoki grumbles whenever he sees something that even reminds him of you- which unfortunately is a lot of things. Which were once associated with fluff and happiness- now linked with bitterness of a love lost. It makes Jyuto’s job much, much more difficult, much to his annoyance.

Ichiro makes a small comment about Jiro not staying out as late anymore. Saburo follows it up saying that he noticed Jiro stopped making such large lunches for school. It makes Jiro stop eating, pausing as he thinks of an excuse. Of course, his brothers didn’t know of his secret romance. And they didn’t know of your secret break up either.
