Thinking bout Yandere!Kuko who's so far gone he's twisting his words and bending his own morals until they snap, alwaya creating new mantras to manipuoate you cause he's always known so much, he's always had everyone's best interest at heart, so why wouldn't you listen to his word?

Kuko thinks himself to be a good person. He follows his moral compass and he teachers others to live in their best life. Kuko is a good person- which is why all of the shit he puts you through- all the pain and suffering and manipulation and bullshit- it can all be justified and explained if you would just listen to his words.

He beat up a guy who looked at you funny the other day.

The one time he decides to take you out, the one time he says he’s going to be nice and treat you to a proper date- is the one time some bastard decides to follow you with his eyes. Kuko wastes no time grabbing him by the collar, all very publicly, and pummel him into the ground. He’s violent in that regard, no care for the opinion of those around him because his reputation in Nagoya means they’ll listen to his words anyways.

Gasps of shock and murmurs of fear fill the air as he wipes dust of his clothes- Kuko’s eyes never leaving you for a second. Even as he stands up to address the growing crowd, a smug smile finds itself on his face as he speaks.

“You see, if you want to make an example of an exemplary, seek one who is the opposite of such,” Kuko’s shoe digs into the arm of the absolute fucker who dared to stare at you, “You should never judge a situation just from it appears- for this example of an unexemplary gentleman inappropriately touched my partner. I was just showing the world my dedication to my love and just how gentlemanly I can be.”

He punctuates his statement with that mischievous grin of his and the citizens of Nagoya excuse his violent acts as Kuko just being Kuko. They know him to be brash and bold. And still they know him to be a good person. The speeches and proclamations prove he only had the best intentions at heart.

His eyes look over you as if he’s daring you to say something. Daring you to challenge his word. Daring you to break the image of Nagoya’s good intentioned delinquent monk. But you keep quiet, you always do.

Because if you speak up it’ll just lead to more. More innocent people being beat half to death, more markings on your neck and bodice, more mantras of how partners have to stick together no matter what, more statements saying that you can’t leave him, more and more and more-

And all of it will be excused in Kuko’s eyes. After all, what was it he always said?

If you love something never let them go.

-Well, first thing that comes to mind is that he's a monk. Monks are supposed to be reliable and trustworthy! Kuko is... arguably neither sometimes. But he uses his status as a monk when you first meet just to manipulate you.

-He's not scared of fights that's for sure though. He has no problem getting into a fight over someone looking at you too much for his liking when you both are simply walking around.

-The guy who looked at you will be bloody and bruised by the time Kuko's done with him and honestly you can't help but feel bad for him. He acts as if he didn't just beat a guy up on the streets of Nagoya just because he looked at you for too long.

-Follows it up with some sermon about how he was able to do that. He's honestly just manipulating you into thinking he's the one who was in the right and that he's a good person because he's a monk. Monk's can't be bad, right?? (wrong..)

-He's not above killing someone, usually if it were to happen in a fight. He wouldn't go out of his way just to kill someone over something like looking at you or getting close to you. He'd rather give them a good beating so they know why he's doing it. If the guy ends up dying or passing out, that's not his fault.

-Kuko does draw the line at kidnapping though. He hates rules and having his freedom restricted. As much as he'd love to keep you all to himself where nobody else will even dare to look at you with their dirty eyes, he doesn't want to take away that freedom from you.

-He doesn't stalk you either, he has no shame in walking right beside you whenever he finds you out. He finds it unnecessary to do and sneakily follow you and risk you thinking he's a creep so he'll just walk up beside you and walk with you wherever you go.

-Oddly enough, he doesn't mind it if you have female friends. It's probably due to the fact that he wants you to still be happy even when he's not around to make you happy. Seeing how much your friends make you smile makes him happy to see your smile. So your female friends get a pass. Not your male friends. He sees them all as they're all just trying to get with you and take you away from him.

-Kind of the same thing with girls on the street. If a girl stares at you for a while, he just assumes that she likes your outfit or that she's admiring you. He won't just go start a fight with a random girl unless she starts it first with you.

Hearing such a familiar yet such strange voice behind you makes your whole body shrug. No, it's better to say that the voice itself was as always, but something changes in the speaker… In Hitoya.

As you turn to face him, you can't help but drop your gaze to the floor, unable to look him in the eyes. Always asking your lover to be more emotional, to show his soft smile a little bit more often than he did.. you never know you would regret these sincere words. That you would be afraid to look at him, to see such a passionate expression on his face that you yearned for earlier.

With every step that resonates inside you with a thunderous heartbeat, Hitoya gets closer, stroking your face with a warm hand. For a moment you even forget about all your fears, as this light touch reminds you of the old days, when everything was so, so different. When your boyfriend cups your face to make you look at him, teasing you with his playful gaze, whispering something devilish and flirty before leaning closer to kiss you. His games always were so mind shattering, as he was an expert in toying with your heart. Yet now..

Possession. Some wild, almost crazy possession that makes his gaze look almost predatory now. Your soul trembles, yet not in the same way it always trembles when you look up at him before. Now you were suffocating from this love in his gaze, drowning in the darkened grayness of his eyes. Can you really call it.. love now?

"Everything okay.. I'm safe, really, Hitoya.." - you mumble, trying to sound happy, not scared. Who knows, what if your dear protector will think you're hiding something…? That you are hiding that someone is bullying you, when there's literally no one who would dare to touch you now, staying away from you and your boyfriend.

Such a sensitive subject, a sore spot in his soul, and you do understand why Hitoya always was kinda overprotective towards you, as these nightmares about his brothers are still tickling his mind's core till this day. But you never thought it would develop into something more, especially due the fact that you don't even have that much problems with bullies. Yet it looks like it doesn't matter for your boyfriend, as day by day he gets more obsessed over the idea of protecting you, of keeping you far away from this cruel world that only brings pain in Hitoya's life. Of keeping you far away from all these dirty people, all to himself.

"Are you sure..?" - his perpetually furrowed brows twitch for a moment, yet it seems you get better in improvisations and hiding your feelings, as your awkward smile was convincing enough for him to relax his face.

You ever feel some kind of relief when Hitoya embraces you, as now you can nuzzle to his chest and not look at this terrifyingly blind and ardent passion in your lover's gaze. His hand moved to your head, playing with your hair as he slowly wobbled.

"I'm so happy now, my darling.." - the way his voice sounds more and more delusional makes you feel trapped, and this tight hug was so strong, not in the way to crush your body but crush your hope to escape from this growing darkness in Hitoya's possessive soul. You were already caged - inside his heart, not in real life.. yet.

Temple.. Such a short, soft word that brings some sort of happiness, calmness in people's hearts.. Yet not in yours.

For you, it's only associated with one sinful, humble monk. Ahh, you always tease him for being so bratty and breaking rules of Buddhism, yet you adore this wild passion in your boyfriend, having no idea what this could lead to.. Well, maybe the darkness of your room blinds you a little..? Maybe it's not what you think?

"Kuko..? Where does all this blood come from..?" - even in the profound silence of night, your voice sounds so weak, almost like a trembling whisper.

And there was nothing as an answer, as a shadow figure stands in the corridor, face to face with you. For a moment you even thought that maybe you should spend less time on your phone, if you start seeing such things, yet very soon quick steps and tight grasp on your arms prove to you that it's something more terrifying than any nightmare - it's reality.

Reality, in which your boyfriend was holding you so suffocatingly close, burned your skin with a hot, heavy breath. His touch was so unusual, so unfamiliar, as casually, Kuko was a little bit shy to hug you so tight, always furrowing his brows and mumbling something under his nose. Yet just what happened today?

"K-kuko, tell me, what's wrong..?" - with such a scared tone, you almost begged him to tell at least something to you, as this silence started to be unbearable.

"There's nothing wrong, my dear.." - this ominous sudden whisper makes you almost jump in place, yet his strong arms hold you tight enough to resist any movements from your side. - "Nothing wrong.."

"But.. This blood.. Are you hurted?" - even in such a confusing situation you try to keep your cool, hoping that there's some simple explanation of what is happening.

"Mm.. The simple fact that you're so worried about me makes me both happy from feeling your care and kinda annoyed at the same time.. You don't think I would lose to someone, aren't ya?" - he pulls away for a second, and you meet his burning, golden eyes. - "Especially to him, huh?"

'To who?' - almost burst from your lips yet you suddenly get silent, as creeping realization slowly hits you as a cold wave, making your legs weak.

Ahh, Kuko and his wild behavior.. Always acting so bratty and vulgar, yet being so sensitive inside, so possessive with his passion to you, his dearest lover. And you thought it's amusing, to tease him for being so jealous of your best friend, but his small replies about your bestie being a total jerk never raise any suspicions in your chest. Yes, your boyfriend is always acting more grumpy towards him than towards your other friends, and maybe you start to notice more sadistic undertones in his commentaries about him, yet.. yet what?

Kuko's literally standing right here, laughing and describing and details how pleasant it was, to finally get rid of this hideous eyesore that kept ruining your relationship. Your head quickly gets dizzy, and you suddenly feel so so sick, so so giddy.. his words filled you with a buzzing amidst which you could only distinguish the sound of your heart beating painfully violently.

"What's wrong, dear? You're no less happy than I am? Then don't you worry, I will keep purifying your life from these stupid jerks who're trying to ruin our love.."

Kuko's arms were the only reason you were still standing, as he kept holding you tight, defaming your clothes with this blood, your minds with his words, your life with his presence.
