Aaaaand more very quick stream doodles. This one shot was so fun to watch, it’s so sad that it had to end already. Tim, leaning over to look at Bernard’s phone as they chill in Tim’s bedroom: whatcha doing?

Bernard: imma send Red Robin subtle messages until I trick him into admitting he’s into guys so I can sleep with him

Tim, bi panic, blushing: you’re what?

Bernard, typing out a message on his phone: here how does this sound Tim, ‘gay af to be a detective, what are you inspecting, other men??’, sound subtle enough?

Tim, too dumbfounded to speak:

Bernard: yeah you’re right, it’s perfect, imma send it

*Tims phone goes off, and then both watch it light up, Bernard seeing the message he just sent*

Tim, picking up his phone, typing, and sending a message without saying anything, face nearly bright red as he glances over at Bernard, who is staring at him wide eyed not saying anything

Bernard, looking down at the text Tim sent him back as Red Robin that says, ‘I like you, let’s fuck’:

like. tim has been obsessed with dick grayson from the moment they met, the night dick’s parents died, when they took a photo together before the show

the robin that tim followed around was dick, it’s literally how he figured out his and batman’s identities! he recognized robin!dick doing a signature Flying Grayson move that only his family could do and immediately knew robin was dick grayson (and by association, bruce wayne was batman) !!

sure he probably followed robin!jason around as well, but dick was robin for almost a decade! jason was only robin for a few years before he died, and tim literally tracked dick down to a different city to get him to be robin again

The urge to gatekeep Lou from 9-1-1 twitter is so strong. They won’t stop misinterpreting his words to push their own theories. They only started being nice to him when he said stuff about their ship, and it’s pretty clear he’s only saying that stuff because otherwise they’ll go back to hating/he’s responding to paid cameos. In literally the same stuff they think he’s saying Tommy is the stepping stone, he’s also literally trying to get them to put their ship aside and enjoy BuckTommy. Like how is this being missed lmao? The head canon that I made up and absolutely refuse to let go of is that Tim Stoker is unknowingly an avatar for the stranger. (In my head Tim was marked and then became an avatar around the time Danny was taken.)

Okay, now the head canon. We all know that Tim Stoker is canonically hot. BUT WHY?? And how when everyone has so many different ideas of what attractive is!

Well you see he looks different for EVERYONE! The stranger makes his appearance special for each person <3! He is the most beautiful person you can imagine.

Oh you like cleft chins? Tim’s got one. Have a thing for lithe tall people that remind you of black cats? Broad shouldered golden retriever energy? That SO describes Tim! You like large noses? Small noses? Blue eyes? Brown?

The stranger feeds off the energy of people getting confused by trying to describe Tim. But also through the power of Fear Magic™️ no one ever seems to notice! Not even Tim himself who just thinks he’s hot like everyone else!

That is my head canon! In my head, it IS canon.

Like yes, Martin is the sweetest guy who will love and care for and protect anyone he remotely enjoys the company of, and will constantly do everything he possibly can for Jon

But if Jon ever tried to reciprocate and help Martin when he’s not at his best

I think Martin would get confused and anxious

the sheer volume of titans tower aus are the most baffling thing to me because fic fandom treats it like this Core Event that his entire life is oriented around… they always treat tim like he’s a newbie who just picked up a bo staff five minutes ago when that couldn’t be further from the truth. he’s existed for over a decade at that point. he’s had over a hundred issues of a solo, not even touching his appearances anywhere else. in universe, he’s been robin for at least 3-4 years. he had AN ENTIRE OTHER TEAM who’s series ran for three years and had comics wide crossovers twice. he was enlisted in a war. he’s time traveled. he’s been to apocalips. he’s not a little baby who’s in too deep that kid’s been to space.

My motivation to write essays has been waning lately BUT I do have a big post about theories and facts on Chilchuck’s family planned, his wife and daughters plus some Chil’s dad and siblings, the whole package. On top of more marchil crumbs to post oof… Ideally I should also rework the first part of the marchil crumbs to make it more streamlined and dare I say convincing. Also fanart and fics which I hope to get around to finishing up… I def want to make more marchil content, but I honestly have no clue which idea to work on next… (I take requests and prompts btw~). I want to make more fluff but I also want to make more hurt/comfort, ahh dilemma

One idea I have that’s particularly relevant is a fic that I’d call Locks of Hair, about blonde hair and the key to his heart. I’d love touching on his attraction to blondes and how that might affect their relationship in a neat lil introspective oneshot like I like to make. LOCKS of hair? Being the KEY to his heart? I love the english language. There’s sorta this trope where if a character loves money has a liking for blondes it’s because like, the hair is "golden", and I’d find playing with that so funny too.

Another that really has my heart right now is Marcille’s mom visiting them to see her daughter and meet her new partner Chilchuck, and it throws them into a frenzy to prepare for it, Chil being entirely too stressed and dreading. And seeing them her mom’s eyes soften and she tells them they remind her of her and her late husband… The bittersweet pride mixed with anticipation at how her daughter has grown into someone who can accept loss, and is willing to throw all of herself into loving despite them not even having 20 years together ahead of them……. I think about marchil proposals and marriage a lot. Hey hey did you know that in Japan "I want to drink your miso soup every day" is a way to propose, because that’s so Dungeon Meshi. The way proposals are so meaningful with these two because it truly is like "i want to give my lifetime to you, knowing all that it entails, but I believe that it’s worth the trouble. That it’s worth it." I have so much proposal dialogue between them written up oogh they make me so emotional

You truly are a warrior for reading all I wrote about them omg, if you like these sorta convos then maybe you’d enjoy joining our dunmeshi discord! Batman has/had some kind of miscommunication going on with every single one of his kids. The bat family is just one big miscommunication trope after the other.

#him and Dick have miscommunication about how they see each other. Bruce sees Dick as a son and Dick sees Bruce as a father #but they didn’t think the other saw them that way so they never told each other. that’s what led to their fights in Dick’s later teenage #years and dick quitting and becoming nightwing. he thought Bruce only saw him as a ward/robin so he thought that as long as he couldn’t be #robin Bruce wouldn’t want him #and if didn’t help when Bruce stopped talking to him when he left. though to Bruce it was because he thought Dick didn’t want to talk to him #and also Dick really needs to tell Bruce like ‘hey you put me on a higher pedestal then you put even yourself which is saying something and #and I don’t like that cuz that’s too much pressure for me. and also since you did it everyone else does it and has done it since I was Robin #and it’s literally just a matter of time before I break from the pressure cuz I’m not fucking Superman and I can’t take it’#and Jason with the whole UTRH thing. you know all Bruce had to say was that he had tried killing the joker over Jason multiple times and #maybe just explain to Jason WHY he doesn’t kill. a simple ‘you’re better than me because if I killed one person I’d kill everyone’#or it could even just be a simple ‘I do love you Jason youre the kid that I felt most comfortable loving’#and also maybe a ‘I don’t think anything changed after my death and that makes my death meaningless which I think goes against your no kill #rule because I hat is the rule of not a reminder taht death means something. and by that logic my death already went against the rule so why #can’t you do it again for the man that murdered me.’ and Bruce needs to make a presentation: ‘all the ways Jason’s death meant something’#and Tim just needs a simple ‘I don’t see you as work I see you as family.’ maybe even a ‘you don’t have to be the grown up in this relati #anymore I’m sorry you were one to begin with. you should’ve always been the child’#now his miscommunication with Damian goes much deeper but I’m one hundred percent sure if they sit down and air out all of their feelings it #would help a lot but I have a feeling that won’t happen #a ‘I have trouble understanding you because both your trauma and compassion run deeper than mine and I also never had to grow up to be a #weapon’ from Bruce and a ‘I don’t understand your optimism and moral stubbornness and easness why is it so easy to be good for u?’#his miscommunication with Cass stems from two things a simple ‘why are you so afraid to show how deeply you love?’ from Cass maybe a #‘I’m jealous of you because you’re better than me not only in fighting but morally and emotionally’ from Bruce should fix it #and Steph— look I’m not even going to TRY to get into that that goes SO much deeer and wider than any one else’s miscommunication #but maybe a ‘you reminded me of Jason at a time where that wasn’t a good thing’ from Bruce should start things up #for Duke a ‘I can never truly understand what you’re going/have gone through and for that I’m sorry’ from Bruce should suffice #maybe also Bruce telling him that just because he sees Duke as a son doesn’t mean he’s trying any less to get Duke his parents back #oh and babs just needs to go up to him and say ‘I don’t like that what happened to me happened for your story and not mine and I don’t like #that you don’t let me make it into my story’ and then Bruce can follow up and say ‘I see so much of myself in you and it makes me worry and #also I can never look at you without feeling guilty cuz you’re right what happened to you happened for MY story so I’m at fault’#then the two can go back to being too much like each other and sitting at their respective computers
