#random post#me tag ∠( ᐛ 」 ) |/#I’m not an overly emotional person in the stereotypical way. but I do get in my feels when thinking about life and the experience of living#I’m like. constantly explaining things to myself cus there’s never really a time or place to talk about it#also my method of explaining things is very not coherent sometimes. so it takes me a bit to really get my point across in a comprehensible#way. I’m a big thinker. I have many thoughts and ideas a views. a daily thing of mine is noticing problems#and then fixing them in my head with thought out explanations and motives and outcomes#it’s like I’m talking to someone else. much like how I format my text posts. that’s how my inner monologue is#me talking to myself is actually me talking to someone else. someone that isn’t real#anyways it’s a daily occurrence. every day of my life is spent with thoughts similar to those breaking down a movie#lots of thoughts from adhd. compulsive thoughts from ocd. overwhelming thoughts from autism. distressing thoughts from bpd#ya. this isn’t a vent I just need to like. see the thoughts in writing so I can do smth else. like eat this muffin ive been staring at for#over an hour now <3 mmmbfbg yea muffins are hard to eat now cus I had some with mold and food mold especially is a big nono for me#spend like. five minutes examining the damn thing before I even consider taking a bite. I’m very hungry an thirsty </3#when your mouth is so dry you can taste your own mouth 👍 I’m experiencing#nothing in particular. just experiencing. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I like having an experience and living#drank my tea and I had like. hallucinations of like an alcohol prep pad. I’ve been using those in my ear cus. tmi. had a pimple that’s#causing problems so mom suggested that. it burned! which means it worked so word. I’ve noticed lately that both me AND my family have been#using ‘word’ a lot. dad says we’ve been saying it but no we haven’t. if we had I’d have BEEN saying it. maybe we’ve used it before for a bit#but now it’s back. idk. I’ve said it in class on more than one occasion lmao I don’t look like the type to say smth like that but whatever#it’s like when I used to say bro after every sentence like 10 years ago lol. we’re a family of parrots we repeat eachother a lot#I started saying I love you out of no where and they started doing it too. we whistle at eachother from across the house. sing ear worms#together. quote funny things at every opportunity and drive the joke into the ground. everyone in this house is a different kind of mentally#I’ll and it’s the most beautiful clash of personalities because we’re all so annoying and we love eachother so much and also our#communication is shit because some ppl have hearing loss and another is a short fused child and some are quick to interrupt and some dont#get a word in and some just can’t explain and some can’t understand. we get there eventually at some point. we don’t get the full grasp of#how much we love eachother yet. but we’re gettin there. anyways this went into several different directions but they’re all good ones#I think. if you read all this good on you! this is my brain 24/7/365 haha ok love you

Astro notes (3)
Tumblr media
Hello, I’m back with a third astro notes. Please disregard anything that doesn’t make you feel good, remember these are just personal observations <3
———————————
* Virgos really are a mess. They will do their best to keep the organized, put together persona, but the mess they’re going through behind closed doors is actually so intense. Whenever I get close to a Virgo, I’m a little shook tbh.
* Kinda unrelated to my normal content, but I really wonder how Dream (the youtuber) is handling the constant attacks to his physical appearance being a Leo and such. He kinda seems unfazed and keeps posting pics of him and videos, but idk. I’m curious how he’s handling it privately.
* I really do love me a fire x earth sign combo. Wether it’s friendship or relationship, I find them so energetic and chaotic lmao. Now, I’m gonna be honest I do think as a friendship, it works better. I also think each person has to have a varied chart in order to work. Someone with too much earth won’t really tolerate the intensity of the fire sign, and vice versa.
* Aries are not only trend setters, most of the time they are the ones to break generational traumas, mindset or traditions. They really, truly, do not give a fuck about what’s been done in the past or “what’s the right way to do this”. Lady Gaga, I believe, is the personification of that. On a personal level, it can definitely get annoying to deal with an Aries, but once you understand that they act that way because they’re trying to better themselves and by extension the world around them, it gets easier.
* Capricorns really fascinate me. I know the stereotypes around Caps is that they’re hardworking, focused on money, overly serious etc. I think part of it is true, but I think it depends on when you do meet them. If it’s before their Saturn return, you might actually meet a version of them that is actually struggling, quite immature, bad with money and overall disorganized. Remember, Saturn is severe and harsh. He doesn’t make it easy for its natives and I think it kind of explains why in the beginning of their lives, Caps are so all over the place. They get it together at one point though, and some become the stereotypical Capricorn.
* Also, on Capricorn, I’ve noticed they don’t really like when people mention their past selves. I mean, no one does, but with Caps it seems even more severe. It’s like they’re trying their hardest to dissociate from that past self that didn’t meet their ideals. I know a lot of Capricorn that even go by different names than their younger self. Crazy.
* Each element has their strength. Fire signs, it’s their will. Air signs, their intellect. Water signs, their emotions. Earth signs, their consistency. In the same vein, that same strength can quickly turn into their worst flaw. Fire signs can get really egotistical when trying to reach their goals. Air signs have a tendency to be condescending and mock others for their emotional reactions. Water signs can use emotional manipulation tactics to get what they want. Earth signs can get often stuck in their ways, no matter how toxic or unhealthy it may be.
* Cancer in 12th makes you despise your emotions, even when you rationally know that “it’s okay to feel that way”. Most often than not, they project that hatred/disdain towards other people and can’t tolerate really emotional people.
* We have to stop thinking that only earth signs and the sign of Leo is an indicator of fame. Sure, they can be indicator, but I do believe that we disregard the many types and layers of fame. Also, the way celebrities will interact with their fanbase and how they’re remembered is important. I truly believe every sign can be famous, but it won’t manifest the same. Is it easier for some signs? Sure. But every sign, using their strength could achieve it.
* Talking about fame. If you really want to achieve it, I think it’d be interesting to use your MC, North node, Mercury, Venus and Rising sign to achieve it. By checking in with your Moon sign needs, you could then regulate the right path for you. Some people truly don’t mind using drama to create traction even if it means hate, while some people could not tolerate it. Anyways, I’ll do a whole other post about it.
———-——————-—————————-
So yea! That’s my comeback y’all. Lmao I’m sorry, life’s been rough. That last retrograde tried to take me outtttt, I swear.
Dolly.

Something I’m passionate about is AUDHD Luffy (meaning he’s autistic with ADHD) just like I am! So I’m gonna jot down some thoughts I have in regards as to why!
Tumblr media
Let’s start underneath this read more!
Remember that being neurodivergent is a spectrum! My experience as an autistic woman with adhd won’t be the exact same as another person with the same conditions!
Luffy tends to hyperfocus on tasks he finds rewarding. This is pretty common in people with ADHD inattentive type. We’ve seen him straight up take a nap in the middle of the road before getting up to finish kicking someone’s ass
Only remembering details or names if they’re important to him
He can be seen masking throughout the series. Probably to escape being called a “crybaby” as a child.
His way to motivate or cheer other people up is unconventional. Certain emotions from others like crying make him uncomfortable. Probably reminds him of being teased for not regulating his emotions “normally” as a child.
Can be seen doing different stims throughout the series. Stims can be anything for a ND person, not just arm flapping as portrayed in popular media.
Contrary to stereotypes not all autistic people are “emotionless.” Plenty of us get overly excited or enthusiastic around others.
Luffy is incredibly blunt and usually gets shit for it. This happened to me all the time growing up and I’d never understand how I wasn’t being “tactful.”
Luffy tends to take stuff literally such as the concept of bananawani
He has his comfort foods and gets upset when he doesn’t have them. Meat is an obvious example.
He values certain senses over others. It’s clear he loves what I call “mouth feel” or having something in your mouth to chew on and keep your attention.
Has safe clothing items he likes to wear over and over. I completely relate to his hatred of close toed shoes and wanting to wear baggy clothes all the time.
The hat is a comfort object
Has unusual reactions to pain and body temperature compared to others. Being rubber helps with that though
Cannot process sarcasm to save his life
Is impulsive and kind of assumed everyone can read his mind when it comes to how he’s going to approach a problem and solve it
That’s just some observations I have for now! Some other time I’ll add my headcanons onto this post of stuff I think he would do but we don’t see on camera!

about veneciano’s eyes (=ヮ=)೨☆
i generally dislike many psychological headcannons as they’re often uninformed or rely on misunderstood and stereotypical ideals of certain illnesses/disorders. it also comes at the risk of watering a character down into a slew of micro labels instead of focusing on all traits holistically. i personally find it more interesting when characters aren’t overly pathologized, but it’s all purely subjective when you think about it
that being said, i can’t help but think it’d be interesting if vene is prone to keeping his eyes closed due to some flavor of sensory processing issues or as a result of conflict, past or present.
i’ve seen a lot of takes on this trait and i like to think of it as just another enigmatic/unexplained side of him. see “The Bravest of Men (and Nations)”, a oneshot that is actually germany centric but acknowledges vene’s “strange (but beautiful) eyes” in a way that suggests he may be hiding certain emotions or insecurities by keeping them half-lidded or closed. i think it also suggests it’s just another peculiar part of him, which works well with germany’s constant attempts to make sense of vene in canon. he’s simply nonsensical, and that whimsy is part of what makes him such a great character. it’s been a bit since i’ve read that fic so take my comments on it’s subject matter with a grain of salt
i’ve seen several fics that portray him as blind, which makes sense due to his clumsiness. i could see him as being legally/partially blind as well. some have even speculated that his vocal tic might be a form of echolocation. but i prefer it as more of a purely vocal tic myself.
all of this eye talk gets me thinking about this
Tumblr media
which kind of implies the general nation-public hadn’t seen his eyes open before. i was thinking of compiling instances of both of his eyes being open at some point... the most prominent ones i think of (not including any promotional material) seem be to associated with his curiosity, feeling content, and being surprised.
there’s also this one unfinished LJ fic from ages ago about a autistic-coded and especially eccentric vene spying on fireman!germany (??) while he showers from a neighboring apartment (???) as inspiration for his airport thriller novels (????) and i’m pretty sure there’s attention to his eyes in that one. he’s depicted as a little higher-needs (as in he relies on romano for some things despite maintaining his own apartment) and a bit agoraphobic/lacking in understanding of social cues, but still extroverted and well-meaning. i recall thinking it was cute, i’ll try to find it. but i’m getting off track
back to my original point, i think vene could reasonably have a combination of any of these things and we wouldn’t know because we rarely ever see things from his internal perspective.
we do know that he fawns a lot in order to diffuse situations and that he’s very prone to being nervous about how others perceive him, so the closed eyes also serve the purpose of shielding him from a multitude of things.
they also just make him look a bit silly, which i’m sure was the original purpose. he’s kept them open a lot more in recent years, and especially now that he’s impersonating his brother. i wonder if his eyes will give him away if germany manages to nab those sunglasses

Re: Your Retention Please MASH writers I am once again asking, have you even met Maxwell Q. Klinger?
Honestly, I think it’s a fair question because we see Klinger take on a lot of things that are cast off by other characters (gay banter with Hawkeye post-s3, being the dog one pets once Radar is gone, occasionally the buttmonkeyism that I enjoyed when it was Frank on the receiving end) or he’s molded to fit whatever agenda the show needs because while Klinger the character isn’t expendable, his characterization certainly is. This is how you end up with all of these late-seasons Klinger subplots and traits that either completely contradict everything we know about him or tbh, outright play into racial stereotypes. Like when he’s all of sudden really into  money-making schemes, or the weird friendship he strikes up with his exploitative boss, or when he takes a lot of racist, classist abuse from other characters (usually from Charles and sometimes Potter, but everyone gets a turn) lying down. This is the man who got into a fist-fight with Frank and then afterwards came back with a grenade to blow him up after Frank told him he couldn’t wear his lucky scarf.
This disregard for his character is how you start off with Klinger in a dress*, gun-toting, back-talking, practically fire-breathing (and hella risk-taking, considering he is a Corporal) all over Majors Burns and Houlihan in the early years and end up at Your Retention Please.
*I’ve read that Klinger stopped wearing dresses at Jamie Farr’s request which, while I respect his reasoning for that, I still feel we the audience and Klinger the character deserved a mourning period and a damn good, in-universe reason for him to have suddenly flipped like that especially after we saw the effect wearing the uniform has on him in Change of Command.
Though he may not have the emotional weight that comes with being a drafted doctor forced to fix people up just to send them out to get hurt worse or possibly die, his belief in the utter uselessness of the army is indistinguishable from Hawkeye and Trapper’s (BJ too, but by the time he’s settled in, the army is in the crosshairs less and less and the Klinger character starts to waver) and anyway he’s affected by having been drafted in his own personal and no less tragic way.
I’m on board with the way the recruiter goes after Klinger. First off, he goes after everyone. Secondly, it’s a common recruiting tactic, to this day, to go after the disenfranchised, the destitute and the desperate, particularly when those traits intersect with race. So there’s some realism in how hard the recruiter goes after Klinger - however, while I know that, these writers likely do not. There’s no race awareness going on. Par for the course.
And let’s talk about that scene  with the recruiter for a moment: the slow music that sounds to me just the slightest bit sleazy. The way the recruiter doesn’t just offer a drink, he takes the empty glass from Klinger and places a full one in his hand and then he puts his arm around Klinger and leads him to sit down. The repeated closeups: the recruiter’s smile showing off his yellowed or missing teeth (nothing wrong with having imperfect teeth and idk if it was intentional, but it’s a common physical trait for a villain) and Klinger’s clearly zonked out expression. Klinger says, “You’re right... who are you.” and the recruiter responds again by being overly familiar, saying they’re buddies and that the army is his friend and family. Like if nothing else, I’ll give them this - there were numerous ways for us to read that this guy is a predator. It was appropriately unsettling, but my praise ends there.
Maybe I could buy that Klinger might drunkenly agree to sign up Nope. I started typing it out and I got midway before I decided I would finish and then cross it out for dramatic effect.
The writers forgot who main-cast member Klinger is yet I’m supposed to remember who Laverne is and believe that Klinger is so broken up about her leaving him after she’s already left him (3 seasons ago! hello???) that he decides to do something as drastic as signing up for the army, whether he’s drunk as a skunk or stone cold sober? I don’t buy it. I don’t buy it anymore than I would if it were Hawkeye in that position, but they figured it was easy enough to do such a thing to Klinger. I think he (Klinger) gets this plot because it can’t be given to Hawkeye, BJ or Charles, which is funny because one of those three flew off the handle when his wife got a job, so if there’s anyone I could see doing something very drastic (though, tbf, even then not as drastic as re-enlisting) if his wife were to leave him, it’s not Klinger.
Klinger wants to go home but he’s not overly specific about why. He doesn’t have the same attachment to Laverne as BJ does to Peg - he’s not cheating on Laverne but he says about as much about her as Trapper does about Louise. In addition to wanting to be home, I think Klinger, like Hawkeye, is philosophically opposed to war.
He has that very touching scene in War of Nerves where he’s actually given space to tell us why he doesn’t want to be in the army - and it’s way more essential than just ‘I want to go home’ - he does want to go home, but he also doesn’t want to be given orders to do something that would violate his beliefs and he works tirelessly to try to avoid that fate.
In his dresses for 7 years, he’s a walking a protest, or as Sidney aptly puts it, “a monument to hope in size 12 pumps”. He does not believe in the mission of the army, opposes its authority over him and how powerless it renders him as people die around him - who does that remind you of? If you had to call any other character “a monument to hope”?
The other characters on the show are to different degrees opposed to war, with the exception of Frank but consider their reasoning - Margaret and Potter find the army fulfilling but are morally opposed to war, Charles is opposed to his life having been interrupted by the draft, BJ shows a great deal of compassion towards the wounded but his resentment towards the army also comes from how he’s been taken from his family (not a dig at BJ, completely valid for him to feel that way, it’s just different from what Hawkeye feels) and finally Hawkeye is opposed to the army I suspect long before he’s drafted and remains that way long after he goes home.
Getting back to Your Retention Please, I have to pass on setting up Potter and Hawkeye to “rescue” Klinger from his bad decision. Hawkeye I’ll let slide - I have my reservations about the white saviour-y undertones but I’m more fine with Hawkeye being the (white) saviour here than I am with Potter, the regular army guy, getting to be the hero and undermining the anti-military message.
And finally, i can’t accept this at all because we already have an in-character example of Klinger’s reaction to Laverne actually leaving him in Mail Call 3 - he deserts. He returns, blessedly not because he wants to ‘do the right thing’, but rather because he doesn’t want to be a fugitive. The icing on the cake is him declaring that when he does leave the army it’ll be the honourable way, via Section 8 - that’s Klinger!
Have you ever been upset that Larry Gelbart trolling-ly suggested that Hawkeye would become a right winger post-war? That’s how I feel about this episode and the difference is it actually happened, they really did that to Klinger. He deserved better.

Hi!! Would you be okay doing a big 6 birth chart ask, like you did for the anon for Jax Teller a while back, but for Eddie Munson?
I keep getting stuck on whether he’s Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, or Aries. You seem really experienced with this sort of thing. And in the last ask you said that you loved this kinda stuff, so I was hoping you could help me☺️ [I may or may not might be trying to find out if me and him would be compatible if he was real👀 I have mostly Scorpio in my big 6, except for my mars which is in aqua🥴]
Also, I hope you’re having an amazing summer. I live in California and over here it’s soooo hot, I feel like I’m dying.
I'd love to! I do love doing characters' birth charts. Thanks for wanting my opinion lol 🌿Oh and I also have a Stranger Things Soulmate quiz, if you wanted another way of finding out.
Tumblr media
To me, Eddie doesn't really scream Scorpio - but that doesn't mean a Scorpio has to be matched with another Scorpio.
I would deduce that he has a lot of Gemini in his chart; to me, Eddie is very quick-witted, he's funny, thinks outside the box and likes to come off as a badass but really he's just a big ol' nerd. But the outside image is to protect himself.
𝐒𝐔𝐍
𝑳𝒆𝒐.
Passionate, outgoing, humorous.
The sun in a person's chart represents your ego, your drive and possibly even your ideal self, i.e, the image that you want to put out to the world.
Eddie shines, and with Leo in its native house, it means a person likes to be the centre of attention, they're bold, they like rocking the boat, but they can also be great leaders and say what needs to be said. They speak up for others.
𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍
𝑨𝒒𝒖𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒔.
Rebellious, imaginative, intuitive.
Signs in a person's moon aspect mean stereotypes are more obvious. Or rather, the moon in a person's chart makes the traits of the zodiac sign emboldened.
The Aquarius sign has two sides to it: the rebellious spirit and the humanitarian. I see the rebellious side of Eddie, but he doesn't seem like much of a humanitarian (not saying he doesn't want equal rights, he's just not framed that way).
But he does have a very imaginative and often feels like the odd one out. He's a loner at heart, even though he can be very sociable.
𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆
𝑮𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊
Curious, quick-witted, expressive.
A person's rising sign is the way one presents themself to the world; from your personality to your phyical appearance and mannerisms.
Gemini rising's are also very restless, and have we really seen Eddie sitting still? He's always fidgiting or waving his hands as he talks etc. He's interesting and fun, and his friends always want to be around him. He can be very magnetic.
Usually Gemini's can come off as unfeeling or less compassionate, which levels out with Eddie's Leo Sun - it levels it out.
𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐂𝐔𝐑𝐘
𝑮𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊
Eclectic, knowledgable, charismatic.
Mercury is the ruling planet for Gemini - known as the planet of communication, thought and focus. It represents a person's mind and style of communication.
There's an air of mischevious about a Gemini in Mercury. Fred and George Weasley also have this placement. They're smart, very intelligent but they aren't overly known for it. Their playfulness almost outshines it.
The very best at banter; they think fast but also speak without thinking. It usually gets them into trouble.
𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐒
𝑪𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓.
Caring, intuitive, sentimental.
When a Cancer Venus decides to love, they dive in deep - no small talk, no flakiness or flighty behaviour. They're all in. And although we don't see Eddie fully with a romantic partner, we do see him talk to Chrissy and he immediately brings up their shared past and his emotional link to his band.
Even when Eddie and Steve are talking, Eddie admits that whenever Dustin talks about Steve or opts to spend time other than with him, he gets jealous.
𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒
𝑺𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒔.
Go big or go home, restless, impulsive.
Having this placement means this person is ... loud. For example, Eddie has an obvious hate for all things stereotypical in Hawkins - especially those who abide by the social rules. Remember the first scene with him? He jumps up on the table in front of the whole cafeteria to berate the people he dislikes.
This placement means whoever the person dislikes is obvious. Unlike some who hide their hate/anger/dislike and use other methods, a Sagittarius Mars is open and upfront.

Is Soi Fon Autistic?
Now before you come at me, this is very much a fan theory that I’m analyzing. As an autistic person myself, I grew attached to Soi Fon when I was young and she’s been my favorite character since. For some reason, I oddly related to her struggles. I’m going to be diving into the different autistic traits that Soi Fon tends to portray in the series. So without further ado, here is my interpretation of all this!
1. Autistic people are cold/lack emotion
Autistic people are often stereotyped as lacking emotion and coming off as rude or cold. Soi Fon is well known, especially early on in the manga that she is a cold person who seemingly lacks no remorse. Ex. Attacking Kiyone without hesitation. She comes off coldly to Omaeda as well, and even though it seems bad, it is more so the way she communicates. We can tell that Soi Fon actually cares about Omaeda and sees him as a worthy subordinate. Perhaps, she doesn’t know how to convey those feelings in a typical manner. For autistic people, sometimes conveying and communicating emotions properly is difficult and at times miscommunications can come off as rude unintentionally.
Tumblr media
2. Autistic People thrive in structure/order
This is very true for many autistic people. Having a schedule or routine that is consistent and regimented is very beneficial to us. Soi Fon values order and routine. She runs her squad with rigor and follows the soul society’s rules to a tee. Now here’s the kicker. When Soi Fon’s routine or sense of order is interrupted she loses it. This is very much seen when Yamamoto is killed and she responds negatively to how everyone is reacting so calmly. Curiously, she is the only captain to act so intensely in this moment, Komamura only yelling to stop her, only emphasizing how she stands out from the rest of the captains. Additionally, she in a sense doesn’t know how to “read a room”. This can also be seen when she yells at Squad Zero. Despite everyone being calm and collected, she loses it once more, further causing irritation in others. Another example, is when Yoruichi left. Being raised and engrained so hard to be a soldier, Soi Fon took on that model as her life’s destiny. From there, everything she does is her duty. Yoruichi came in and made Soi Fon question her structure, allowing her to open up as well. Of course, when Yoruichi left Soi Fon held a very deep grudge and that turned her life around. She had to change everything she was used to, which is really hard for an autistic person to do. Even the way Soi Fon talks is more formal, seen when she is discussing things or when preferring to use an honorific for Yoruichi.
Tumblr media
3. Autistic people have special interests
Soi Fon’s special interests comes in the form of black cats and Yoruichi. Soi Fon is immediately infatuated with Yoruichi and devotes her life to her, seeing her as the only thing that mattered. Everything was focused on Yoruichi. This is seen too when Soi Fon is older. Seen a lot in the filler episodes but also in some canon, Soi Fon is obsessed with anything to do with black cats, due to Yoruichi having the power to turn into one. It even gets to the point to which she throws a tantrum and nearly blows up the Seireitei over a cat trading card. She is also seen in cutscenes and in some art playing with cat plushies and wearing cat themed clothing, further showing her interest. Sometimes Soi Fon’s interest becomes overly obsessive and it clouds her judgment at times, leading to her also losing sight of who she is.
Tumblr media
4. Autistic people struggle with expressing and understanding their emotions
This is a big one that is scene throughout. Soi Fon is probably one of the most emotional characters in the series. If anything goes against the rules or her values she is not afraid to fight back and voice her opinions even if the emotion may seem over exaggerated. Of course, Soi Fon cries when she sees Yoruichi, understandably. Later, she is seen in various captains meeting calling out people and voicing her opinion. Oftentimes, her opinions fall on deaf ears and she is ignored or put down. She comes off as naive due to this, and of course that very well may be. She is also young so it’s understandable. In most instances we see, Soi Fon reacts in anger and/or sadness. She is angry about Yamamoto, about Yoruichi, about squad zero, she gets angry about rules being broken, etc. So one would just think she is just an angry person. But, she’s more complex than that. Additionally, she is shown to not fully understand other people’s perspectives. This is seen when she doesn’t understand why others aren’t grieving Yama the way she was or never forgiving Kisuke for causing Yoruichi to leave. Soi Fon isn’t always a cold and brash person, in fact she grows in many ways over the course of the series. She is still very rigid in her ways but she is proven to be more kind and thoughtful than she lets on, as once proven by Rukia saying that she was always nice in her opinion. This only goes to show how unique Soi Fon’s emotions are.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Preference for Isolation
Soi Fon is often illustrated as preferring to do things alone at times, especially in training. We see this when she goes off to train without Omaeda during TYBW. She most likely trained alone after Yoruichi left. She seems shy at times in large groups. She also doesn’t have that many close relationships.
Tumblr media
6. Autistic people are more sensitive to things
This is a small thing, but nonetheless I’m including it. When Omaeda catches Soi Fon after being caught upon launching her Bankai, she responds by telling him to get his disgusting hands off her. Usually, one might not imagine someone who was just rescued to say something so cold, but it also goes to show that maybe Soi Fon is avoidant of physical touch. We see later that Yoruichi has touched her a few times and Soi Fon doesn’t seem fazed, even comforted, maybe showing that Yoruichi is the only person she is okay with touching her.
Tumblr media
7. Autistic people are detail-oriented and intelligent
Soi Fon proves to be fairly intelligent and tactful. She is really good at observing things and quickly executing plans. For example, when she gathered notes on Urahara not only was she determined, but she was amazingly thorough and detail-oriented as commented by Yoruichi.
8. Autistic people are often misunderstood
One thing that is for certain, is that Soi Fon is incredibly misunderstood as a character. A lot of Bleach fans dislike her because of her cold attitude, without looking into the deeper reasons as to why she is the way she is. Also the way she reacts to change is caught off guard by others and even her opinions are often ignored or dismissed. We unfortunately don’t get to see all of Soi Fon, so we don’t know for sure how she reacts in every situation.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo Ep 8: “I won’t let you walk all over me.”
Well, this episode was just as much a rollercoaster as the last one, but for different reasons this time.
(Once again, episode thoughts from someone on the spectrum)
1. We start with the anonymous (who is he kidding, the entire team knows Minwoo wrote it) post on the company forum, singling out Youngwoo enough for employees to recognise her, complaining about her specifically benefitting from nepotism.
I don’t even need to mention the ableism in this, the ableism in Minwoo, I feel like that’s been covered by everyone. My thoughts this entire scene though, is why did he specifically choose Youngwoo, when he’s been working next to Sooyeon all this time who he knew had powerful connections from the beginning? How is it him being righteous and fair, when he witnesses first hand Youngwoo is more than competent at her job, but goes after her while seeing Youngwoo as “the strong” compared to the CEO of the entire company who openly benefits from connections?
Minwoo would not be threatened if Youngwoo was not more competent than him. If an autistic person worked alongside him and was not outperforming him, he wouldn’t even care to sabotage them. His ableism would assume he’s getting the job above them. He wants Youngwoo gone because he knows he doesn’t stand a chance against her as a lawyer, so he pulls all the tricks to get her out of the running and him a full-time job. Classic corporate moves, what we experience in real life, but Minwoo has time and time again actively used Youngwoo’s autism as the brunt of his sabotage.
Which is exactly why, more so than Sooyeon loudly and unapologetically standing up for Youngwoo, we got Youngwoo standing up for herself. “I won’t let you walk all over me.” And that’s all that needs to be said!
2. Minwoo responding with “Are you shameless?”
Yes. Youngwoo should be shameless. She has done nothing to be shameful for. If there’s one thing men have, it’s the audacity, trying to bring you down while being confidently wrong. Kwon why don’t you spend all this free time you have working on the case, instead? Earn your permanent employment the right way and be a better lawyer!
3. Theme of romanticism throughout the episode.
There was a post I saw on here earlier describing how poetically and lovingly Youngwoo appreciates the beauty in things around her — even in the episode she loved taking in the tree, feeling the wind and watching its leaves move, seeing the town together with it. I’m happy to see Youngwoo feeling deeply constantly shown in the drama, even more so in an episode addressing things needing to be played tactically instead of relying on human connection and emotion.
I’m happy Youngwoo was advocating the side of connection and feeling, when the stereotype of all autistic people being logical, unemotional robots is too often used in media. I’m happy that Youngwoo having romanticism, is completely in line with her character we know and love.
4. If I thought that fall on the hill looked painful, WOW did I flinch when she fell down the stairs. (Speaking of falls, her fussing over the judge after he fell on the same path was adorable, especially the part where she offered him her jacket because that’s what Junho did with her the last time, even cuter because Junho likes her and that was an act part of his constipated pining). But what I want to talk about here, Youngwoo addressing her independence from her dad.
She wants to be an independent adult both financially and in her livelihood. She wants to do things on her own. She wants to live her own life where she makes the decisions. Granted, it may have began after finding out her father’s been too controlling of her experiences, but I’m happy for her. Even living with bestie Geurami is an upgrade from an overly-worried dad. Seeing her giggle and enjoy breakfast with Geurami was honestly so nice and refreshing, normal things you do with your best friend and roomie. She didn’t overbear Youngwoo or try to treat her like a child either and made something new-ish for her to eat, which she did enjoy. In her comfort zone but new. Youngwoo happy. Geurami happy. Me happy. I hope by the end of the drama Youngwoo is able to establish her independence however she sees fit.
5. The mother… sigh. This one was a little tough to see. I don’t have much to say, this is their story and these are the decisions they’ve made to lead to this point.
At first, I thought Tae Su-mi would try to hide Youngwoo’s existence. I thought upon discovering Youngwoo’s her daughter, she’d revoke the job application on her own, considering the drama leading us to believe she was cold about her child out of wedlock. But instead… she was sad. She was crying. She asked if Youngwoo resents her. My heart ached for her. I can’t imagine that was an easy decision to make in your college days. I wonder where next their relationship will go in the episodes to come. Youngwoo’s response to her also touched me, it was nice spending time with her at the tree. Youngwoo again loving and appreciating the little things, Youngwoo again loving their small time connecting instead of focusing on the hurtful.
She’s a wonderful character, and I can’t wait for next week.
P.S. “The birds, the lambs and even Myeong-seok” line made me laugh so much. You poor soul, 3 AM is the best neurodivergent thinking time, get up!

The diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (BPD) is applied predominantly to women and, in particular, to survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The diagnosis of BPD individualizes and pathologizes women for their responses to oppression, because of its fundamental failure to locate and understand distress within its social context.
BPD is a serious mental illness and is difficult to diagnose. Unfortunately it is also well-known as being used by psychiatrists and mental health professionals as a way of labelling ‘difficult’ or ‘problem’ patients – I know at least one woman who was threatened with a diagnosis of BPD by a mental health professional because she wouldn’t do as she was told. Three-quarters of patients diagnosed with BPD are female. I’ve spent some time since my diagnosis wondering why that is, when one would expect the split to be roughly 50/50.
My first thought is that the diagnostic criteria cover much of what is considered to be “stereotypically feminine” behaviour, but to a more extreme level. For example, one of the diagnostic criteria, “Affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days).” – well, women are supposed to be overly emotional people anyway, right?
Another of the criteria is “Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment.” We’ve all heard the stereotyped stories of bunny boilers, of women who get pregnant to ‘trap their man’, of women who are controlling and possessive and who are terrified of being alone. Women are supposed to be flighty, unable to control their emotions, and to have trouble navigating their interpersonal relationships.
The second thing I’ve been thinking about is that it’s possible that women get the diagnosis of BPD because some of the diagnostic criteria include things which are considered ‘normal’ for men, but ‘abnormal’ for women. For example, if a woman behaves in an ‘unfeminine’ way, say by expressing extreme anger (another of the diagnostic criteria is “Inappropriate anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights)”), the label of BPD is slapped on her by the psychiatrist. “Frequent displays of temper, constant anger [and] recurrent physical fights” are not seen as disordered behaviour in men, they are seen as fairly normal. But it seems that when a woman displays those tendencies she is not normal, she is personality disordered.
Another of the criteria is “Impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., promiscuous sex, eating disorders, binge eating, substance abuse, reckless driving).”
Again, some of these things seen as “potentially self-damaging” (I’m looking at ‘promiscuous sex’ in particular) are seen as normal behaviours for men, but in women are considered undesirable enough to be included in the criteria for diagnosing a serious mental illness.
And lastly, I’ve been wondering whether Borderline Personality Disorder is a mental illness/personality disorder at all. Considering so many more women are diagnosed with it than men, and considering it’s thought to develop in early childhood rather than being an innate mental illness, could there be something about being raised female which increases women’s propensity towards BPD-type thinking? Could that ‘inappropriate anger’ be not a disordered way of thinking, but valid female rage against a world which devalues women and things which are thought of as ‘traditionally feminine’?
Feminist critics of BPD offer an alternative perspective, generally viewing the diagnosis of BPD as pathologizing the ways that women respond to gendered abuse and oppression. A borderline disorder can be applied to women who fail to live up to their gender role because they express anger and aggression. Conversely, the diagnosis is also given to women who conform ‘too strongly,’ by internalizing anger, and expressing this through self-focused behavior such as self-injury”. They show how the diagnosis of BPD presents a double-bind: women with BPD who engage in behaviors that are not stereotypically feminine—self-injury, multiple sexual partners, external expressions of anger—are cast in the archetype of the overemotional hysterical woman.
I have a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder and I believe this to be accurate because my life is severely impacted by my symptoms. But I often wonder if, in a world where men and women were seen as equal, where women were valued and seen as being as worthy as men, whether this diagnosis would exist at all. Or, in an ideal world where women were not seen as ‘other’ and our natural behaviours were not seen as ‘deviant’, whether the world would be more shaped for women (and men) displaying Borderline type symptoms and thus our lives would not be so devastatingly impacted by it. One thing I do know is that as a diagnosis in the current climate, it is extremely stigmatizing, and for many women it seems to do more harm than good.

I do find it impossible to make eye contact.
I do get childishly excited about things I love, and I do ramble about it until someone stops me.
I do need noise-cancelling headphones and sunglasses to comfortably go outside.
I do sometimes act like a kid in a grown adult’s body, and I do sometimes feel like independence is a pipe dream.
I do get disproportionately upset when my schedules or plans get suddenly changed.
I do walk on my toes and I do have raptor hands and I do need to concentrate in order to stop doing it.
I do speak in a monotone voice, with overly formal diction.
I do have a long history of echolalia, and it does sometimes happen at inappropriate times.
I do incessantly stim, and I do get stressed if someone stops me.
I do find it impossible to accurately read a room, or understand subtext, and I do often insult or offend people without meaning to.
I do find it impossible to identify sarcasm, and I do have trouble telling when people are joking.
I do lose my voice in situations where I know nothing is actually wrong.
I do find it hard to keep up with conversations, and to know when it’s my turn to speak, and I do feel left out when the subject suddenly changes.
I do have a hard time explaining my emotions to people in a way they can understand.
I do show empathy by sharing personal anecdotes about similar situations I’ve been in, and it does get mistaken for selfishness.
And, frankly… I used to feel better when I read about other AuDHD people having similar experiences to me, but lately… it just feels like I’m furthering a stereotype.
I know that it’s just who I am, and I shouldn’t be ashamed of that, and that these all manifested long before I even knew what autism was,  but… it’s hard to join a conversation about breaking neurotypical stereotypes of AuDHD people when I’m pretty much just a list of the most conventionally applied traits that NT society ascribes to us.
As frustrating as it is when people act like all autistic people are like the ones they see on TV or in film... it’s called a spectrum for a reason, right? Stereotypical autistic people do exist. We’re here.
And I’m tired of people acting like there’s something wrong with being this way - or at worst, that I’m faking, because I conform too closely to what you see if you google “autism symptoms”.

Ramuda Amemura Chart Analysis
For each post, I’m gonna chart with a character’s big three (Sun, Moon, and Rising) because these are the most important aspects of one’s chart. After that, I’ll talk about the most interesting aspects of the chart outside of the big three. I’ll do relationship analysis separately because otherwise I’ll go insane and these will be WAY too long.
The Sun sign represents the ego; who we are at the core. This is why when somebody asks for your sign — this is the one you given them.
The Moon sign represents one’s deep emotions, how they choose to express (or not express them), and what makes us feel comforted.
The Rising sign represents the ‘mask’ that somebody wears. Or perhaps more fully put, it’s the impression that somebody gets upon meeting you for the first time. Of course, this can also play into our own self-image as well.
Now that those explanations are out of the way, let’s start with Ramuda’s chart:
Tumblr media
For Ramuda, I honestly didn’t know what I wanted to do for his birth time? And then I was like “oh wait, what if I literally use a random number generator LMAO”
It gave me 736 (out of 2359) and tbh it worked out really well for Ramuda?? I’m honestly surprised. Ramuda is an Aquarius Sun, Scorpio Moon, Pisces Rising.
(More below the cut so I don’t clog the tags)
PISCES RISING: Pisces is a water sign, which means it’s an emotionally based sign. Pisces in particular is known for being intuitive, artistic, dreamy, and open-minded. Because of this, Pisces people are very adept when it comes to creative matters, especially in terms of visual mediums (like fashion design) or music (like the division rap battles). Often, they give off the energy that they are to be protected because Pisces is stereotypically called the crybaby of the zodiac due to their strong emotions (see also: Jyushi, a Pisces Moon). Unlike the other two water signs (Cancer and Scorpio) Pisces is more vulnerable about their emotions. They like to learn about other people, and so they’re willing to share their experiences and emotions to connect with them. They can often be alluring to other people because they give off the impression that there’s more to them than meets the eye.
I think Pisces rising is an interesting fit for Ramuda because Pisces people are usually deeply empathetic (sometimes to a fault), which is something that we see Ramuda struggle with at times. However, I think it fits the way that Ramuda wants to be perceived by others: He’s (at times) overly friendly, picks up on others’ intentions quickly, and is very emotionally expressive in order to try and gain the sympathy of others. When he decides to take control of his life and become a better person, I think we see the more evolved form of Pisces come out: Empathy for others, wanting to better himself as a person, and desire to dig deeper into deeper, subconscious issues. Another thing that we see happen here which is typical of someone with Pisces energy is that Ramuda equates self-sacrificing with repentance for his actions, likely because he’s overwhelmed by his own feelings of guilt (telling others they can “kill him” if they want, telling Jakurai he shouldn’t exist, etc).
AQUARIUS SUN: Aquarius is an air sign (I know, confusing). Air signs are typically quick-witted, logical, and animated, though it varies depending on what other energies are in the chart. Aquarius is frequently categorized as being both a free spirit and an eccentric. However, in contrast to the other air signs, Aquarius is more aloof. They are frequently bored by the world around them and feel the need to do things differently from the crowd. Aquarius is the quintessential ‘quirky’ sign of the zodiac, and their toxic trait is that they push others away with the assumption that nobody else can understand their specific brand of weirdness. They then wallow in their own loneliness. (I’m an Aquarius, so I’m allowed to say this LOL.) However, Aquarians are also particularly bright. They are known for rejecting the status quo and doing things their own way, so they are frequently innovators. They are also particularly good at coming up with bold and new ideas, as their sign is associated with the planet of epiphanies (Uranus). Aquarians are also usually humanitarians (username origin unlocked lol); deeply invested in bettering the world for all people. The Aquarius Sun placement is actually in “detriment”, which means the energy of the planet and the energy of the sign are opposites, so Aquarius Sun can be an uncomfortable placement to have. Furthermore, as an intellect-based air sign, they are a bit distanced from their emotions. They need to understand why something is happening in order to fully accept it, so they tend to intellectualize their feelings and interactions with others.
I feel like this placement is a pretty good read on Ramuda’s character and who he is at his core. On the one hand, Aquarius is aloof, calculating, and good at idea development. They can be friendly, but they’re a little hard to fully read because they often see no need to express how they are truly feeling. This is what I like to describe as the Ramuda’s ‘programmed in’ traits. It’s part of him because it’s what he was ‘born to be’; it’s how he was made by Rei and Chuuoku. Of course, I think it’s important to note that this doesn’t make this part of Ramuda any more or less real. He still has these traits, regardless of whether he’s being controlled by Chuuoku or not. He just gets to decide what to do with them for himself now.
Simultaneously, Aquarius is also rebellious, freedom-seeking, eccentric, and humanitarian. They ultimately want what is good for others on a larger scale. We can see that all of these things are also true for Ramuda. He ultimately rebels against Chuuoku when their orders don’t suit him, he has a desire to be free and decide what to do with his life for himself, his fashion sense and designs are all rather quirky and colorful (also see: Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, another Aquarius Sun with quirky, bright fashion sense), his peers tend to regard him as a bit “weird”, and when left to his own devices, Ramuda tends to choose the kind thing to do (ex: returning Amanda to the temple grounds after he steals her, choosing to save Gentaro and Dice over running away and saving himself, coming clean to Kuuko and Sasara and attempting to make amends, apologizing to Jakurai, etc.).
The placement of Ramuda’s Sun (12th house) is also important here. The 12th house is the house of self-destruction, sacrifice, and the deep unconscious. In a way, this is also how Chuuoku becomes so attached to Ramuda’s sun, because all they don’t expect Ramuda to have a ‘self’ in the first place. All they desire is for him to be a tool and then, later, a sacrifice. The self-destructive tendencies of the 12th house also affect Ramuda’s Sun Sign. We can see that before he has the chance to safely consider what the purpose of his life might be that he pushes away anybody who comes close to uncovering it, therefore also pushing away anyone who might have potentially been able to help him.
In terms of the deep unconscious, something that is common with Sun in the 12th house individuals is that they need time alone in order to truly reflect and become more self-aware. We can see this to be true with Ramuda, only really deeply reflecting on his situation and the purpose of his life when he is alone. This is in direct contrast to Gentaro, who uses his friends almost as a mirror to better understand his own shortcomings. Of course, Ramuda’s friends are also a central part of his journey and struggle to find purpose and happiness, but it isn’t until Ramuda is fully alone that he can truly start to internalize what he’s learned about himself, as well as his wants and needs.
SCORPIO MOON: This is, quite frankly, the CRUX of Ramuda’s chart. Perhaps more than anything else here. Scorpio is a complicated sign to say the least. It’s a water sign, so it is deeply emotional. Actually, I would argue that Scorpio has the most intense emotions out of the whole zodiac. They’re very good at seeing through people because they’re very intuitive, and they can use this information both to help and to harm others. I think the Pisces Rising to Scorpio Moon dynamic actually represents the light and dark sides of Ramuda really well. Both are very emotionally charged, but Pisces has a kind of curious and kind energy to it whereas Scorpio has a decidedly dark energy to it. It sends the message, “don’t get too close, or you’ll get stung,” much like the scorpion itself. This is because Scorpio DEEP seated trust issues which often happen as a result of intense trauma (see also: Sasara and Samatoki, two Scorpio Suns). They’re almost like a water sign that doesn’t want you to know they’re a water sign, because they fear that their own emotions will be used against them (much like they are able to do with other people). They keep their emotions under wraps and wait for proof that they can trust you before they really open up (ex: Ramuda continuing to push Dice and Gentaro away until the moment they come to save his life, pushing Jakurai away when he says he’ll save him). Once they trust you, they’re loyal for life and they expect the same from you. They take any form of hurt or betrayal extremely seriously, regardless of the intention, and they break more easily than the front they put up would have you believe. Scorpio Moon people are also incredibly good at having dirt on absolutely everybody. Whether they come off that way or not, they’re nosy motherfuckers who just naturally good detective skills. They always have ‘sources’ on people (just in case), though it isn’t always with ill intent. (And yes, Jyuto also has a Scorpio Moon LOL).
Scorpio Moon can be a particularly hard placement to have because it is in what astrologers call “fall”. As opposed to detriment (which is just like, uncomfy feeling), fall is basically an active disadvantage. It’s always my perspective that there are no ‘bad’ placements in astrology. It’s all about finding your weaknesses and strengths and using those to better yourself. Scorpio Moon is in fall here because it creates a self-sabotaging cycle that can be really hard to break out of unless it is actively worked on (which Ramuda really hasn’t had a chance to do since he’s been in survival mode up until now). On the one hand, his moon makes him a liability for the people who determine whether he gets to live or die. On the other hand, his paranoia about hiding this truth drives away anyone who would potentially help him. And this betrayal forces Ramuda to build up another wall and to believe that what Chuuoku tells him about his own emotions is actually true. That’s why Gentaro and Dice are SO important here. They help him break that cycle and change his world view a little bit.
Ramuda’s Scorpio Moon is particularly intense for a few reasons. The first of which is that it’s in the 8th house. As I’ve mentioned in previous installments of this series, the 8th house represents areas of life that are taboo, secrets, or otherwise hidden within. So Ramuda’s emotions are taboo to himself, likely because of the constant insistence from the people in charge of him that his emotions are a “flaw” or a “defect”. The 8th house is also ruled by Scorpio, which basically doubles the power of this placement. It’s super intense, and it’s conjunct with his Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th house (we’ll talk more about that later) which means the most paranoid and distrustful part of him is directly connected to his intense emotional state. It’s not necessarily a recipe for success? However, this also means that once somebody has earned his trust, he becomes bonded to them for life. Scorpio is a very transformative sign that implies a kind of trial-by-fire that Ramuda has to endure. I like to think of a Phoenix rising from the ashes a little bit? In the long run, overcoming this is going to make Ramuda into a really strong person! I’m looking forward to seeing where the narrative takes him from here!
OTHER INTERESTING PARTS OF RAMUDA’S CHART:
ARIES VENUS IN THE FIRST HOUSE: Aries is a very fiery and passionate sign, but they don’t like to sit still for too long. They are constantly moving onto the next thing. As a result, Aries Venus (planet of love and affection) individuals can sometimes like the chase more than the idea of a relationship itself. They are prone to move on to new lovers and new experiences, but they are very passionate and fun lovers. I think this matches up really well with the playboy image that he’s created for himself: Making it clear that he’s here for a good time not a long time LOL
The first house is the house of self and self-image. Since Ramuda struggles with this, we can see that the house is mostly empty. However, Venus being here lines up with what he know about Ramuda: Namely that the playboy persona/lifestyle was something he chose for himself, and therefore the only thing that he feels like he really knows about himself. This might be why he defaults to this a fair portion of the time.
SCORPIO PLUTO IN THE 8TH HOUSE/ PLUTO CONJUNCT MOON: I talked about this briefly in Gentaro’s relationship analysis, but I’ll rehash the Pluto in the 8th house stuff here because it’s particularly important for Ramuda as a character. Pluto is the planet of power dynamics (i.e. where you feel powerful and powerless), secrets, and spiritual death/rebirth. It can represent the start of a difficult journey that changes you as a person, or a big life lesson that needs to be learned. It can also represent a big secret that needs to be hidden. I’ve already described both Scorpio and the 8th house above. The thing about the combination of these three things is that they all share the same energy. Certain houses and planets in astrology are “ruled” by specific signs, and Scorpio happens to rule both Pluto and the 8th house. What this means is that the energy of this placement happens threefold, and it becomes supercharged. So Ramuda’s secret is EXTRA big and he’s EXTRA worried about it potentially getting out.
Then you have the conjunct with his moon. In very basic terms, a conjunct in astrology happens when certain celestial bodies are very close to each other in a person’s chart. When this happens, the energies of the bodies combine and they act together instead of independently. So basically, this Scorpio Pluto placement fuses with Ramuda’s emotional state. So whatever I wrote about Ramuda’s Scorpio Moon being intense? Just like, DOUBLE that.
SUN CONJUNCT SATURN: Saturn is a planet that represents restrictions and rules. Since it’s tied to his Sun Sign, this is likely why Ramuda has such a hard time disobeying authority until Gentaro and Dice come in. His more aloof sun and the authoritarian Saturn kind of work together in that regard. It’s very hard for him to break from orders because that’s literally tied to his sense of self.
SUN SQUARE MOON: This is a really important aspect for Ramuda too! Squares, like conjuncts, are another aspect in astrology. However unlike conjuncts, squares indicate tension between two energies. They represent an inner conflict that you have to put in conscious work to resolve. Ramuda happens to have a conflict between two MAJOR parts of himself: His Sun (the “self/ego” sign) and his Moon (“the emotions/comfort” sign). Part of Ramuda’s central conflict is trying to figure out what his life is for and who he is now that he’s no longer a Chuuoku agent. This means learning how to marry these two conflicting parts of himself.
NORTH NODE IN THE 9TH HOUSE: Every chart has what are called North and South Nodes. The South Node represents the karmic debts and skills that you brought with you from your previous life/lives into this life. The North Node represents what you are karmically meant to achieve in this life. Ramuda’s North Node in particular is in Sagittarius in the 9th house. The 9th house represents philosophy and searching for higher meaning in life, and Sagittarius is a sign that is very optimistic, honest, and adventurous. What we can glean from this is that Ramuda’s karmic purpose in this life is to find purpose. It’s to have a grand adventure with his friends and become more optimistic about life. It’s a really sweet sentiment.
INTERCEPTS AND DUPLICATES: Okay, last one! Sometimes in a chart we have what are called intercepts. Essentially what that means is that a sign gets completely engulfed in one of the houses, and that can indicate that this was an area of life that either wasn’t encouraged (passively) or was discouraged (actively) in this person’s life. The amount that this effects a person usually depends on how many celestial bodies are in said house. For Ramuda, the 1st house (self and self-image) and the 7th house (interpersonal relationships) are intercepted, so we can infer that these areas of Ramuda’s life were affected. Whenever there are intercepts in a person’s chart, there are also duplicates. Duplicates are basically the exact opposite of intercepts. Instead of a specific sign being swallowed up by a house, it rules two houses (aka, it has two spokes in the sign instead of just one). Ramuda has duplicates in the 2nd house (what belongs to you, mostly physical) and the 8th house (taboos, secrets, and the hidden). So we can determine that Ramuda’s deep emotions and possessions (see: Empty Candy/Fling Posse Inc.) can actually be used as strengths to help Ramuda to develop the areas in the 1st and 7th houses!

My thoughts 💭:Flimsy execution, Improper writing, homage media
Movie: Turning Red 🔴🐼
Oh Boy, okay
As much as I really love this movie and I’m glad other people love and relate to it, it’s very flawed and I don’t wanna look over the clashes. Again I love it and it’s what I like to call “An homage, Anime Pixar movie” I commend the Director lady (Domee Shi I forgot when I out in notes) and her team for attempting a feature length film that tackles something new but it’s still a bit of bugs.
Story
The Story itself is very dead on and very text book Pre-teen story in a Live action movie (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Judy Moody and the not bummer summer, Ramona and Beezus, Alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day, I could go on) that’s why I feel like everyone loves it mostly through it’s “relatability” and such. So it’s a very fast pace movie with not much merit and it’s structured poorly like a half assed written tv show movie.
Animation
I love the animation, it’s very cutesy in inspiration to studio Ghibli, (hence the wide teeth shots and wide overly expressive moments) and with being a 3d movie it’s beautiful from characters to the backgrounds and motions. But again what do you expect from Pixar when the animation hypnotizes the eyes every time.
Themes/Undertones
In my personal opinion from watching the movie for the 50th time, the themes are very very unrealistic when it come to puberty, it’s a spectrum. Some people who go through puberty and it really quick. Some people may have bad puberty. I thought I was dying when I went through puberty so I don’t relate in that way that it was suppose to. The movie plays the stereotype of puberty, Angsty attitude, overly Horny, unrealistic rebellion, and reliance on friendships. Also I wanted to mention the weird and disturbing undertone the movie displays, with the message that a female becomes a furry angry beast when emotional, a savage animal monster when upset and she becomes a human or normal if she is calm and collective. I get the fact that everyone has a wild side and you should not be ashamed but it’s not written that way like Mei is the ONLY person that is weird or with this. It feels like a poorly written superpower.
Comedy
I don’t have much to say about the comedy of the movie, it is very silly and corny so it is on point for what they were trying to portray and “cringe” I suppose. I wouldn’t say being a preteen is necessarily cringy but it depends on how you experience it.
Characters
The first time upon viewing I didn’t have much to go off when thinking about the characters but know here is what I think about them after the 1000th time watching.
Mei
Mei’s characters is very enjoyable for the first half of the film. Her personality is well established as being “nerdy” and “boy crazy” and had a proper balance between family and friends relationships on her life. I think it would’ve been really nice to see more depth to her character besides Family, friends, and boys, such as her aspirations for her personal future, where she wants to see herself when older and having that clash with her mother as well as her friends a little bit it wouldn’t phase them and they remain bestest friends. After she received the panda I noticed that she developed a very nasty and very unlikable attitude, as well as a very bad temper problem.(Don’t tell me about no puberty gives you attitude because again puberty=spectrum) Also she becomes a bit arrogant with her powers and her sneakiness which is never a good thing. Also, I see that Mei, doesn’t seem like her own person but rather a follower of her friends as well as being okay with people liking her because she can turn into a Red Panda which is kind of a sad character growth but it’s fine. The one thing that kinda pisses me off more is that Mei hardly ever gets in trouble for ANYTHING she does, she essentially gets to rebel with no consequences for her actions or her words whatsoever. The Kaiju battle was really the only real time she got in trouble for defying her momma from the ritual and pushing her back to go to the concert.
Miriam
Miriam was like the “soapbox” friend. She’s always the one to say something very preachy and overly friendly and emotionally moving to Mei alway to be the one to comfort her at any moment. When Miriam talks it feels like Priya and Abby aren’t even there, she always calls the shots for everyone and I feel like you can just delete the other two girls and you wouldn’t change the movie. The only thing I like is that she tried to warn Mei about her momma.
Priya
I love Priya, I love her Napoleon Dynamite energy but like a said she doesn’t have much character dimension to her like the other girls and she feels very invisible to Miriam which I really don’t like.
Abby
One of THE BEST friends, and Pixar characters of ALL TIME. From her crackhead energy, her facial expressions, and even voice range and just chef’s kiss. But once again no character dimension.
Mrs. Lee
First watch she was just the typical Asian Tiger/copter mom, then I thought about the relationship I now have with my mother and I grown to love the mom. I realized that she noticed the relationship between her and Mei changing and she was scared. She was worried for her and she parented the only way she knew how and Mei didn’t understand that at all. Parenting is a spectrum and no one knows how to truly do it correctly and mental damage can sadly be a result which was an end product or Mrs. Lee and her mother. Not to mention that she is very very funny. I would say the only thing that really made me mad with the mom was that she cock blocked Mei from RoBaire at the concert.
Mr.Lee
Best Dad… end of story
Nana Wu/ The Aunties
The aunties reminds me so much of my own aunts. Sweet, Sassy, and snarky. I also love their panda designs. I don’t have a lot on the grandma she again only wanted the best the way she knew how and again it failed tremendously.
Nana Sun Yee
She’s the real MVP for her family fending off the bandits and giving her the panda wish and she was never judgmental for anyone who got rid of the panda power, and she thanked Mei for keeping the panda wish.
The Panda Herself
The red panda I feel is a very basic idea for a metaphor. I feel they should have either have the panda already be established in Mei’s life and she hid it from society because she knew people wouldn’t approve and then after hiding for so long she didn’t care how people thought about her and she is happy with her true self. That’s how I thought the movie was gonna go, but it wasn’t and that’s fine. The design for the panda is cute, very Totoro and Cat Bus like but it’s still very boring. I think they should have used the design they used for Sun Yee’s story. Also the Powers execution is very flimsy and frustrating as well, the whole spiel of the panda ability is “the ability to transform into a powerful mystical beast, through any intense emotion” which they kept the whole idea until towards the middle and the end of the movie where Mei is poofing at will making continuity go down the toilet. It should have been A ‘Panda Power at will’ or B ‘Emotional Panda Power’
In the end, cute Homage Film, 2nd favorite movie of 2022, a feature movie that a Asian North American woman wanted to write and came from her heart and I respect that, but it is not perfect and that’s alright 👍🏽

I’m Italian and at times especially this season I find myself kinda offended by the way the write Carina, so many obnoxious stereotypes, they think Italians are overly emotional, crazy, kinda stupid, and they make us look like clowns.
And Grey acting looks like he’s making fun of Carina/Italians.
I wonder what Stefania thinks, even the visa situation both S4-5 it’s so bad written, as an immigrant in USA I have 3 lawyers always ready to help me with my visa, they keep me updated if there are any change with American Laws, I know exactly what I can and can do, timing for renewal and so on, this writing is so disrespectful jfc…
I don't blame you, Anon. I would be offended too if I were you. They lean too into the stereotypes of Italians and they think that's all Carina is. They've made those stereotypes her identity and it's insulting really. She's one of the best OB's Grey Sloan has, she had an incredible study going, she had such a fun personality on Grey's and the S19 writers decided to make her the housewife who has a high temper 90% of the time. They've reduced her in so many ways and it's really sad. I do wonder how Stefania feels about it all...I don't think we'd ever know because she obviously isn't going to criticize the writing but you would think they'd get her input on things, especially when it comes to her own culture. Especially with how many times they have her mess up the American idioms. Also why did they drop bella and start using bambina more? These are things they should go to Stefania about I feel.
I don't think Grey is making fun of Italians, he just has a real issue with his hands and moving his arms all over the place. It still remains a mystery why it's so noticeable this season especially. But maybe it does make it worse when they're in scenes together since Italians do have a tendency to talk with their hands and maybe he picks up on that.
It does seem like the visa situation is being handled very poorly, you could tell they are just using it for drama purposes. Especially with the way they did it last season and having Maya call it "visa stuff" as a way for them to fight and Carina accusing her of not being interested. I mean they kinda made it seem like Carina was trying to figure it out and the government wasn't cooperating but...I don't know. Unfortunately that's the case with a lot of things in this show. Lots of inconsistencies and things that don't make sense.

https://www.tumblr.com/just-woso-stuff/742595502327119872/the-difference-between-how-katie-mccabe-and-lauren
i get what you’re saying here, but what you don’t maybe see is that the emotions thing hugely stems from lj being black.
black people cant react without it always being seen as them being overly emotional. black women in particular. i mean, there is literally a whole thing of the “angry black woman” stereotype, and it’s portrayed across the world.
so yeah, while maybe it isn’t “katie is white so her actions are fine, while lj is black so her actions are bad”, even when you just look further into it with lj constantly being portrayed as this angry, emotional, black woman, there are roots of subconscious hints of racism and racist stereotypes there.
lj could say she loves the physicality of the game, but i doubt that it would matter in the way it does for katie. because ultimately she’s seen as violent and emotional in ways katie isn’t.
(also just wanted to add here that i’m not completely defending her actions. i think a lot of things she does can be irrational, the same with katie. but yeah).
Yeah, you got a point for sure. I didn't mean to dismiss the part racism plays in this, I simply wanted to highlight something that I don't think many people talked about.
At the same time, I also didn't mean to say that I think Katie's case is better because she's doing it consciously. I, personally, am not a huge fan of overly physical play. It is a contact sport and it's okay if things get physical I just enjoy it less, but that's just me.
So yes, overall the racism is definitely there and it's not just lj, many times it applies to african or south american national teams. when they are 'aggressive' or more physical even commentators tend to have a different (worse) attitude than when it comes to a european team. And I do wholeheartedly believe that people would be having very different conversations about this exact situation if lj was white

(i love 86 /j) /j
spoilers: episodes 1-14 of 86
tw: if you’ve watched 86 you would know what’s in the show, I probably won’t go past talking about death but I won’t describe anything too in depth
━━━━━━━ ✤ ━━━━━━━
Tumblr media
Watched this in the span of two days lol It felt easier to write everything down after watching the episodes so I did that instead of blabbing as I watched ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
none of my thoughts make sense I apologize in advance for the fact that I cannot shut up <3 it’s also not proofread don’t murder me-
Episode 1 : Undertaker
I was kinda hooked immediately. I found the show from some random insta post that I’m really hoping I wont realize is a spoiler by the time I get to the episode the clip was from,,, The whole concept was laid out pretty quick, from this episode and the next. Obviously more things came into play and more was cleared up through the episodes but the simple concept was still relayed pretty well off the bat. The whole genre of this anime is something I really vibe with. My favorite genre is action and I feel like it plays a little into that plus mechs are always something I kinda gravitate towards, Pacific Rim is one of my favorite movies.
Episode 2 : Spearhead
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ not much to say, again I’m not going back to rewatch them so I don’t even remember much important from this episode oops
Episode 3 : I Don’t Wanna Die
Oh how I love angst. If you know me even the slightest and know what media I like, you’ll know I’m the biggest sucker for angst. Preferably some with a little bit of fluff to combat all the sad shit. But no. Not today. I think one of the things I enjoy about this show is that I don’t feel like any of the female characters are these pretentious stereotypical ones. While yes I understand anime girls have a certain personality that’s either “ooo look I’m the tiny girl with a high pitched voice” or the “I’m fucking badass and ill punch a baby” OR the “I’m not like other girls I have a life outside of school” but I enjoy the ones that break those common barriers and manage to actual interests me. I’ve definitely noticed I’m usually more drawn to fictional men and then actual people wise I’m more drawn to women… bUT the girls in 86 are refreshing to see amongst all the anime girl stereotypes. My whole point of explaining that is to say, I actually liked Kaie, which surprises me. Just by looking at her I was like “Oh I’m gonna hate her.” But by the end of the second episode I was like “eh she’s not that bad, I actually quite like her character.” A foolish decision on my part. Twas very distraught that they killed her off right off the bat too… I liked what she brought to the group. But I did enjoy the mood it set, introducing us to the fact that everyone dying wasn’t just something they made up. I also enjoyed how sudden and quick her death was… I know that sounds weird but once again it set the mood, reminded the viewers that it’s not like those hopefully situations where they build up to the death of a character. Nope ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ a few seconds to get across what’s about to happen then bam she’s gone… That shit gets me so excited, I really enjoy when shoes make me feel a shit tons of emotions and the intenseness(?) of 86 for sure does that.
Episode 4 : Real Name
I’m reading the desc on fuckin wikipedia just so I can get a refresher for these first 10 episodes lol n e wayz theo that mf gremlin, I like how everyone pesters him abt what he said, and when Shin tells Lena that Theo doesn’t speak for the rest of them was sweet. Gorlie was doing her best we love her for that. I think I should also mention, Lena’s my favorite character (as of the 10 episodes I’ve watched). I love her personality, gives me shonen protag vibes minus the annoyingness. She’s so determined yet she’s not making the determinedness her whole personality, it just fits in with the way she handles things and how it connects to her relationships. She doesn’t falter when it’s inappropriate, she’s not overly stubborn, she’s not afraid to show her emotions and to stand up for herself. She’s ruthless I like it.
Episode 5 : I’m With You
Ngl the ghost voice thing kind of feels out of place for me, it doesn’t fit for some reason… I have a feeling it’ll have a bigger impact later but as of now I’m just like bro do we rlly need that in the story, you wouldn’t have to change much of the plot if they left it out. Dunno, just don’t like that part but eh, gives me more angst!!
Episode 6 : Through to the End
Ah this episode hurt. Up until this episode I rlly liked Daiya. I told myself don’t get attached he’s probably gonna die, smart move becuz I was able to move on like a few minutes after he died and just me like “ah man I wanted him to live” rather that sobbing like I did in a later episode,,, I don’t remember her name ngl but that one girl dying also hurt, idfk who she is or who her character even was before this episode ngl bUt the way she died was kinda oof. All of the deaths are very sudden and you don’t have much time to think about what’s happening which just adds to the effect it has.
Episode 7 : Will You Remember Me?
Ngl this is the moment when I realized there were many flashback moments and redoing scenes just from the different points of view of the squad and Lena lol I was confused what came first a lot of time. I wish we had a few more moments with Anju and Daiya, it would make me feel a bit more sympathetic about the whole thing but all we really got was them always talking about Daiya’s crush. If they were given a lil moment, Anju upset over his death would have such a bigger impact. I got used to everybody dying at this point actually,,, I did 100% sob when they had the whole lil firework montage of everyone who died, it was oddly pretty but also hella depressing. Also the suicide mission part definitely made sense and was something that was kinda obvious from the beginning. I understand why Lena wouldn’t have grasped that though, knowing her position. Kinda sucks, you know they just threw her in that position on purpose, just to play a part in the Republic’s scheme (all the different names for the places and people confuse I’m just gonna how to the republic was the right way to label that for now lol).
Episode 8 : Let’s Go
Convinced this was just a filler to prepare us for the nonsense of the next episode-
Episode 9 : Goodbye
Shit was the least fun of all the episodes I hated it I was banging my fists on the table. It was an ending I was not expecting, very much so confused me. The closure with the brother was raw, intriguing, weird, oddly sweet??? idk but it was a nice conclusion to that bit. Plus LENA GOING HAM SHE WAS SO ANGRY WE STAN RLLY SAID FUCK THE RULE I DO WHAT I WANT! We love her, at least I do. I’m gonna be completely honest, I did not understand that they were just leaving the borders of their region or whatever, I thought those mfs were like going to their death for some shit why tf was Lena sobbing so hard. Ikik it’s becuz she didn’t wanna lose contact with them but still the way she was crying I thought they was dead until I got to the next episode and I was immediately straight faced like “ok so I cried all those tears for nothing???”
Episode 10 : Thank You
Another filler scree I want Lena back what’s the queen up to. Until further notice Shuga is the one I shall be attached to from the spearhead gang until he either dies or until we get Lena back hmph. The happiness of this episode so far does scare me… I’m just waiting for them to be laughing and shit and then a bomb just explodes underneath them or something,,, The lil montage thing had me dead and not in the laughing way, SHIT WAS SAD :(((
Episode 11 : Here We Go
I like how Shin keeps butting in trying to protect the gang despite damn well knowing they will just proceed to go help him. Dude foolishly throws himself into a fight and doesn’t think about the effect, including his friends going after him. LENA GETS TO KEEP THE CAT THO that made me very happy, the letter was so sweet too
Episodes 12 : Welcome
ngl this is the point when I’m getting bored, go back to the action and angst and random ass surprised,,, I don’t have a lot to say,,, Lena’s a handler for a new group I believe, spearhead was rescued and have a new home. This is basically just a time skip episode to show what’s happened over the time. Seeing Lena still with the cat (who’s name I think is Teppy?) was very cute.
Episode 13 : It’s Too Late
Shit yea I got it spoiled from the insta post- They’re all having fun with their own lol lives tho it’s kinda cute, IK IT’LL BE RUINED EVENTUALLY THO :D Shuga’s so sweet I loaf he, man’s speaks his mind and doesn’t have any shame in explaining his boundaries. Also Theo’s taller than I thought- I don’t know his name, but the dude who took them all into his care, I think he’s very thoughtful, a little forceful, but I think he’s got the right idea. The little girl, Frederica, she doesn’t have the impact that I think they want her to have… idk she just feels like a b-plot that I’m not all too interested in. That aside, at first, I thought them going back to fight was strange. Why would you wanna go back to something you worked to hard to escape? I’m realizing though that it makes a little sense. They’re very used to having a lot to do. They have so many things to fight for I guess. They have to avenge their fallen comrades and as long as the Legion is still fighting, they‘ll always want to fight. I like that rather than just throwing them into a happy life and calling it a day.
Episode 14 : Glad to Be Here
FIDO MY BELOVED that damn robot it’s literally a puppy that was so cute. That’s the only takeaway from the episode thank you.
jk anyways yea there was the spoiler I got, Eugene be dead fr,,, aND RIGHT AFTER THE THING ABT HIS SISTER YALL R SO HARSH- That’s what I like about this show though, everything’s so sudden lol there’s no room for lighthearted moments because in two seconds someones prolly gonna die. I gotta say the fact that we didn’t get too much time to know Eugene was oddly nice, I didn’t have time to get attached to a character before they killed them off. Right, it still stung becuz damn kid just wants to live with his little sister and give her a good life but that’s not gonna work out anymore. Nonetheless, they didn’t waste time offing him as soon almost as soon as he showed up.
━━━━━━━ ✤ ━━━━━━━
Aight ngl bro I got bored asf as soon as the second half of the episodes started… I started getting distracted after episode 11 and they just didn’t hit the same. I tried to keep watching, got thru a few but I stopped at 16(?) and just haven’t gone back to finish it (to be fair I was trying to binge it in two days which I’m bad at doing these days-) BUT, MAYBE ILL FINISH IT AND UPDATE But for now here’s my blabbering abt 86 uwa

Another post on Moon signs you can drag me for
Before we get into the actual thing, I'd like to say this post initially started as something else but ultimately, what I tried to put across is, sometimes Moon signs aren’t that easy to decipher. It’s easy to grasp overall characteristics of the signs and then learn how to identify their specific traits. But what people seem to forget it that Moon represents the deepest side of us & our inner world - it’s uncommon to really see someone’s side of it unless you really pay attention. Sometimes I’m surprised to see what someone’s Moon sign is even if I know this person well. Meaning, people usually hide that part of them - or they just simply process it internally and others can’t see their emotional reactions. It’s also uncommon for folks these days to fully express their emotional needs so it gets even trickier to pin-point their Moon characteristics. I don't think I have to mention this but, of course, your entire chart should be taken into account, as well as house placement, aspects. Personally, I like to also look at Moon's dispositor.
Let’s start from my friends, Gemini Moons, who, I feel, get a bad rep for not showing their feelings and scanning every emotion like an AI. Nah-ah. I know this one Gemini Moon whose immediate emotional reactions aren’t very cerebral in the sense of processing everything in the mind and intellectualizing it aka, what people like to label as being un-emotional. Instead her reactions are often fast (air energy) but physically expressed through Mercury (Gemini Moon’s dispositor) and Sun (overall identity) – she has them both in Aries. She’s a crybaby who can burst into tears in a matter of seconds. So she’s not something that would stereotypically be assigned to a Gemini Moon. But what I did notice is that all Gemini Moons tend to have this weird look on their face when they’re processing stuff. As if they were about to have a brain malfunction; they stop and have that specific worried look. They also like to either gossip or tell stories (either real or made up lol); they’re great with words - they can talk for hours if they feel comfortable with you. They just crave interaction and mental stimulation. Their quick reactions tend to make them effortlessly witty. Even if they’re a withdrawn Gemini type, they make up for it through social media and technology or just a quiet exploration. My shy Cancer pal with Moon in Gemini is now a brand/website designer and an instagram queen who travels the world. This is great energy for content creators in general. And don’t forget that Geminis need to have their fingers in many pies. It’s because they always have a backup plan… and they get bored easily so they need that chaos around them to feel at home. They like to have options in everything, which is kind of funny cause it’s hard for them to make up their minds and actually choose something. And they store a lot of information in their brains… I feel like it must be exhausting, no?
On the other side of the axis, whenever I see someone with a Sagittarius Moon, I can immediately say “yup, a Sag Moon indeed” (probably thanks to my Sag stellium), meaning, they all seem the same to me. Sag Moons often find comfort in exploration - best if it’s literal travel. They always seem to need to free themselves from their surroundings, family, roots or their own culture to discover something new and exciting, even if it’s only in the imaginary words - through books, movies and other medias. Their happiness always lies somewhere else from where they currently are. Like, I think all Sagittarius Moons that I know have left their parents and went their own paths early on. And they have this yolo attitude. Just like Sagittarius Suns, they’re massive dorks, probably also obnoxious… sometimes in a REALLY annoying way. They’re either a) very wise and curious b) lil preachy and stuck up c) just plain dumb clowns with no filter. But they’re all funny. And they take things lightly, with a natural ease. This means sometimes they may offend other people just because they assume everyone’s as chill as they are; „relax! I was just kidding!” - that’s a phrase you’ll hear from them often… I mean, unless you’re a jokester yourself and you’re unmoved by their sarcastic or teasing words. They have somewhat spiritual or philosophical nature so besides making you laugh, be prepared for deep monologues. They want to believe everything will eventually fall into place. It’s also hard to bring them down - or I should say, it’s hard to make them acknowledge that they're feeling down - they always try to distract or cover it up with a joke, usually a self-depricating one. If Sagittarius Moon (or Sagittarius in general tbh) is telling you that they’re unhappy, then it’s serious.
I’ve noticed there comes a point in life for a Libra Moon where they just have enough. They’re too nice for everyone and one day they wake up and yell about how they have to do everything for everyone and everyone wants something from them and bLah bLah. Makes me think of when Bieber was this overly nice kid and then he was like “I’M NOT TAKING PICTURES WITH FANS ANYMOREEEE AAGhJFJFUWIUq”. Yup, a Libra Moon, everyone. They know how to charm and appeal to people, I think overall they’re easily liked by others. Sometimes it’s simply because they like to kiss people’s ass just to avoid being rejected. That’d be a Libra Moon’s nightmare. They like other people’s company too much. And they thrive in relationships and in a big circle of friends. What they hate is confrontations (like every other Libra placement omg). They may be good mediators when it comes to other people but if they’re involved in an argument they get sooooo passive aggressive. They just don’t know how to handle conflicts - it’s as if their nervous system wasn’t designed for emotional outbursts (because, you know, everything needs to be peaceful and harmonious Venus-style). A fussy or angry Libra Moon will suddenly get loud as they blame someone for something… and then they’ll leave the room cause they’re scared to even hear the other side of the argument. Or, alternatively, they’ll make a doormat out of themselves just to stay quiet and avoid causing any rift. And making decisions? I think it’s common for them to have two different romantic interests and feeling so dramatically torned between them *Alexa play Agony from Into the Woods*. Then when they decide, they have problems breaking the bad news to one of them.
On the other end we have Aries Moons. *deep breath* Listen, I think I’ve said enough about having Moon in Aries (or rather purely dissing it) but last time it made a bit of controversy so why not wreak even more havoc. I have a good description for this one: I will punch you but be gentle with me cause it’s easy to break my fragile heart. So basically, imagine putting Buttercup and Bubbles into one person. And honestly, I need to say this, women with this placement are just hot badasses, look at friggin Angelina Jolie. The queen of badass. The queen of hot. People say because Aries folks move quickly (literally and figuratively lol), they often get bored with whatever got them excited last week... or yesterday. Ha, yeah, right. You get their heart to open up and they’re going to have their eyes for you ONLY, like a lil puppy. Give us treats and we’ll build our world around you. But NOT in a clingy way by any means, we need our space and independence after all. My lil niece is an Aries Moon and ever since I started playing guitar with her, she became my #1 fan or something. That’s the energy. But we get easily bored with day-to-day stuff so yeah, there’s that. Innocent and clumsy yet raw in their emotions - so there’s potential to make mistakes sometimes (or a lot of times) or having this tunnel vision, like „I want this and I don’t care about anything else!”. And then excusing it with some „but the heart wants what it wants” crap (looking @ ya, Selena Gomez). They experience constant inner movement and turbulence that needs a physical outlet in order to feel satisfied. WE NEED PASSION IN OUR LIVES, OKAY?!?!?? now leave me alone
Aquarius Moons aren’t as cold as you might think. People like to describe them as if their Moons actually disappeared from their charts: dEtaCheD, uNeMotiOnaL, tHey fEeL nOtHinG. It’s just they don’t sit and dwell on things, they find solutions to the problems. If something doesn’t make them feel right, they just leave that situation. They do care about other people’s well-being, they’re very sensitive in that regard, they’re humanitarians after all. Yeah, they detach, but from their own emotions - in order to make sense of them. They may seem like snow queens sometimes (and this comes from an Aqua rising) but they’re really friendly and if you pique Aqua Moon’s interest, they’re going to be curious about you. They like new exciting things so if you’re cool enough, you have their attention. Usually they’re pretty progressive as well and can’t stand injustice. That’s why you’ll see them standing up for those who are in need. Uranian energy gives them a specific type of sharp intuition and wit. Idk they’re just cute in a quirky way. But this buzzing, fast energy is a great recipe for anxiety, over-thinking and frequent changes of heart. Similarly to Sadges, they need constant exploration and stimuli. Intelligent, people-oriented (but not people-pleasing! Look to Libras for that), individualistic. They definitely need their own space and independence. Their decision-making is fast and it’s easy for them to just say „screw it, I’m doing this”. My Aquarius Moon friend just casually decided that she’s moving to Turkey cause nothing in our city (or even country) seems interesting or helping her expand… So she was like, see ya suckers, I’m leaving.
Leo Moons shine from within. You’ll spot them from a mile away even if they’re on the shyer side. They’re all lil stars no matter their profession. Very expressive people & easily excitable. Art galleries, live shows, theater - they love a creative environment even if they don’t pursue that lifestyle themselves... One of my Leo Moon friends is an art junkie – suggest taking her to an obscure play at the local bar, a music festival, a weird museum – she’ll say yes in the blink of an eye. And she loves discussing these things. A Leo Moon may not see themselves as artistically inclined, but usually sooner or later they at least try dipping their toes in music, arts, acting, dancing... you name it. They’ll learn a simple 3-chord song on a ukulele and then play it to you in excitement. Imagine a lil kid making you a puff piece and being super proud of it. Sometimes they just need some encouragement. Remember, Leos feed off of praise, that’s their fuel. Doesn’t mean they’re all proud, egotistical people but what it does mean is that they need a lil assurance to gain their self-confidence. I lived with a Leo Sun/Moon for almost 15 years (who’s a musician btw so yeah, a classic creative Leo type) - he did have some issues lol but ego wasn’t one of them. Drama followed him everywhere but I’m pretty sure he disliked it himself. BUT, with that being said, I feel like Leo Moons tend to dramatize themselves internally. People say it’s something Virgos or Geminis would do - because of their tendency to overthink, but Leos can just go straight to a worst-case scenario in their heads simply because they exaggerate everything. So don’t be surprised to see a Leo Moon feeling down and anxious. On the bright side, be their cheerleader and they’ll give that to you in return. They need sparks and dullness kills their upbeat spirit. They need to feel their own heartbeat so the feeling of excitement is crucial for their well-being. Romantic, giving and kind. They’re fixed fire so once they’re set on something or someone, they give their all and are rather loyal.
I feel like my chart low-key tells me I should dislike Taurus Moons but I just want to melt in their arms and just stay there? Like, forever? Low maintenance but a bit slow-moving and stubborn. They won’t settle easily, at least not officially, so you need to have a lot of patience with them. They need 3 things to feel secure and at peace: physical stimuli, time and a stable place they know they can always come back to. And it’s not like all of them are total lazy homebodies, they may be active spirits & travellers but they are going to have a reallyyyyy nice cosy flat somewhere near their childhood place (gotta be be close to their moms, you know). Not necessary materialistic but they may have one thing that they collect throughout their entire life and they won’t. ever. get. rid. of. it. There needs to be at least one constant in their life - like you know when Elton John decided to go to therapy but one thing he stuck to was shopaholism? Very Taurus Moon of him. Also, they’re very affectionate. In fact, may have issues differentiating between affection and passion - this is actually something Taurus Moon and Aries Moon have in common. Pro tip - and this is in regard to all Taurus placements - don’t smell bad when you’re around them (I mean, don't smell bad in general, no one likes stinky people lol). They have a sensitive smell. Doesn’t help that they like to smell everything. EVERYTHING. I swear, Taurus, stop sticking your nose in every single thing!!! You don't need to know how that piece of utensil smells like. Jeez.
Scorpio Moon (shoutout to those who remember me accidentally calling them sporpio last time I made a post on Moons lol). I honestly don’t know what to tell you... I feel like all you hear about Scorpio Moon is 100% true, there’s nothing to debunk here. It’s the Moon of extremes. Prone to jealousy and surpressing emotions; severe trust issues; they’re instigators. I was low-key bullied by a few Scorpio Moons when I was in school so there’s that. Very secretive and private. Scorpio Moon will be like “I’m in control of the situation!!!!” and you’ll just look at them and think, yeah, right, looks like the situation is controlling you. But keep being in denial, sure. Like, don’t get me wrong, Scorpios in general can be TOTAL SWEETHEARTS OMG but ya’ll have issues. Even celebrities who have this placements... Think Beyonce or Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus... I feel like they have issues lol, especially with control and the need for everything to be perfectly the way they want it to be. To be fair, that’s probably why they’re all so influential and high status: it’s either their way or highway. They need constant reinvention; they’re the ones to wake up one day and decide they’re going through a spiritual awakening blah blah. They also like to talk about dark and shocking topics while having casual lunch with you... So like, be warned that you may end up with a depressed mood after talking to them for 10 minutes. And their mood swings... don’t even get me started on that.
I don't know where to start with Virgo Moons... I feel like they're very calculated and nit-picky but they're a lot warmer than Virgo Suns. I think I called them softies in my last Moon post. Very sweet people but prone to anxiety. You gotta experience seeing them having a heart attack over someone mixing bananas with milk or messing with their stuff that’s been put in a perfect arrangement. I saw a Virgo Moon once literally squealing shouting "YOU'RE GONNA RUIN YOUR LAPTOP WITH THAT SUPERGLUE!!!" Highly entertaining to watch, not gonna lie. Gordon Ramsay has his Moon in Virgo - it’s conjunct Uranus and Pluto so that’s an extreme but I think him being fed up with people over small inconsistencies in their food prep is a perfect example of this energy (btw his chart is hilarious, it literally explains EVERYTHING). They're VERY picky with their food as well, just as Virgo Suns tend to be. Like, they’ll only have a specific type of single origin coffee or they’ll be vegan or something. Self-critical over their work, which is a plus... except for when finishing a simple task takes them a few hours because they want to make it perfect. They take everything seriously. This of course doesn't mean they're total bores - on the contrary, Mercurial energy gives them witty approach and a talent for choosing the right words at the right time. Tho they can be a bit awkward or shy with it. Can be as bubbly as Gemini but the grounded earthy energy gives them more practical and almost nurturing nature - earth signs are providers after all and Virgo is the sign of service - helping others is like their second nature. I’ve noticed they often find comfort in devoting themselves to a choosen task - this is why if they pursue something, they’re really good at it. They’re also very likely to dissect their emotions.
I’m not a fan of water Moons in general but Pisces Moon is the best water Moon in my opinion. Maybe because I like Pisces overall. I think it’s like a tweaked Sagittarius Moon - just more internalized, withdrawn & gloomy. But unlike Sag, who has a tendency to be an adventurous optimist, Pisces likes to focus on the negatives instead. Obviously, they can be very upbeat, they’re Jupiter-ruled after all, but there’s somehing whiny about them lol. Just like Sadges, they dream big and have their standards put up sooo high but if there's not much active energy in their charts, they’re often too passive to actually fullfill any of that - or I should say, they’re stuck daydreaming about it, believing it’ll just magically manifest for them... OR they do everything with an apathetic approach. What I do like about them is that they’re funny. And really chill - sometimes to the point of coming off as confused or hazy. I feel like a lot of them would just love to sleep all day... or sit by the lake and just think about the world. Most of them are also compassionate folks - again, maybe a bit too much. Hey Pisces, you don’t have to take everything to heart, it’s okay. On the bright side, they have big imagination and the ability to disconnect and just create. I have a few Pisces Moons in the family: one’s that sleepy artistic type with grand visions, one is an asshole-ish but funny entrepreneur with a questionable work ethic and one is a witty IT guy who’s actually a workaholic and likes to shut in his own world of computers and numbers or whatever he does there... So there’s this factor of tunnel vision, escapism and, on the more negative side, being kinda iffy and almost addicted to the way they want things to be. Once they set their eyes on something it’s done deal…
My issue with Capricorn Moons is that they're often trying to be sooooo mature omg, like, loosen up a bit. It usually starts when they're in their later teens... They can be the most rebellious kid that likes to have fun and suddenly they'll be like "I'm too old for this ugh grow up" *judgmental stare*. My 18-year old niece once literally roasted my sister that she's in her 30s and still doesn't have her own place (well so do I so I guess she also indirectly roasted me as well???). And she was SO deadpan with it. Because she herself wants to be independent and start a family before turning 25. This is classic Capricorn Moon energy. They suck out joy out of everything lol. Of course, OF COURSE, it depends on the whole chart but I feel like worst-case scenario is that at one point in their life (or maybe even a few times throughout it) they go through a massive shake-up that makes them change their attitude and re-evaluate their structures. There's this multi-instrumentalist Yvette Young - she's a sweet, funny Cancer/Leo mix but her Moon is in Capricorn. She used to be a competitive pianist but the pressure that was put on her has led her to severe health issues. Like yes, she’s now an extremely talented musician - thanks to family’s expectations & a rigid schooling system (Saturn) but it did cost her a lot. She has recovered since then but I think it's a perfect example of this energy. It’s very ambitious and hardworking but emotionally demanding in the sense that you have to actually put your emotions aside in order to deal with the rest. Another thing, because Moon can be associated with family, there's often a weird dynamic surrounding this topic. I don't think I've met a Capricorn Moon that had a completely healthy and happy relationship with their fam or one of the family members. Or, alternatively, there can be a strong bond between one of them but usually created in the atmosphere of hardships.
Last but not least, Cancer Moons. I had three school friends with this placement and all of them made this sad, whiny face as they said „oh I don’t knoooow anymoreee”  when they were feeling torned or frustrated. To be fair, two of them are water Suns so for them, it added to the mushyness. All Cancer Moons I know are family people or better yet, baby people. One of those school friends is now a guidance counsellor, working with kids; the other turned her instagram into a gallery of her own child after she gave birth. So much kid content, omg. There’s also something very indecisive about them… or I should say, hesitant. They’re not very fast at making decisions. Also, what’s interesting, they’re kind of like walking libraries, they remember a lot – so they store a lot of information in their brains just like air signs but they process it in a completely different way – emotional, obviously. I think this also makes them hold grudges a lot. For them it’s more of a question of „how does it make me feel?” rather than „how valid is it?”. There’s certain stubborness in them in that regard because they don’t keep their minds open. It’s also hard for them to walk away from people and situations, like a crab pinching you with its claws – it won’t let go. Sensitive but not easy to open up; very protective of themselves and their loved ones & they tend to shut down in their crab shells. But they may crave connection and the feeling of belonging. Also very caring and with a big imagination. They’re very receptive of their environment so mood swings are a thing for them.
