Baby (who still has no name) is warming up to Geralt, who also starts to connect some dots. (Like, I think he suspects that he's Jaskiers son, adopted or otherwise, but he won't even humor the idea that he could be the dad.)
That being said - the kid is an angry teenager sometimes. Jaskier tried all he could as a single parent and they have a very loving relationship, but I also think they do argue quite a bit, and there is some tension.
And the more he gets to learn how Geralt truly is the weirder is gets, cause. He's a good guy? And either Jaskier is petty and was too dramatic and kept him from meeting his dad for nothing, or Geralt isn't a good guy AT ALL and has hurt Jaskier really bad, and he doesn't think Geralt has it in him, but some people (and especially alphas) get really weird and archaic around omegas? And he had to witness again and again, with how little respect his unbonded, single father of a bastard child was treated - is Geralt like that too? But Jaskier still only ever talked somewhat kindly about him. And from all he saw... he trusts Geralt. He's a quiet, but witty and honorable man. But is it fair to doubt the parent that was there for him, that raised him, that sacrificed so much for him? The poor kid is so conflicted.

wasn’t having the best day so decided to finally watch the barbie-movie (it’s on hbo rn) bc figured that could cheer me up
but bc the universe loves a good timing, on the grocery store trip after, some dudes came to me like ”which one of us would u fuck?” and that annoyed me way more than it should’ve. Like cmon, it’s 10pm at a grocery store; if you’re not cottage cheese or olive oil get tf out of my face
just a short evening walk bc it was windy and I was annoyed

I just finished rewatching season 2 of Leverage with my partner, and I've got to say... Eliot's hair was so fucking good this season. it was so pretty almost the entire time.

yknow, as like... a demi person on just like this side of being ace, its really tricky articulating my feelings on shipping as interaction with media without feeling like im bothering others
cuz there is a totally valid 'ugh not everything is about shipping!' stance but at the same time, i feel like maybe a good deal of shippers arent necessarily *ignoring* every other element or incapable of grasping themes or the like, but looking for the aspects *not* found in their favorite medias...
hence why, yknow, tragedies get fluffy aus or fix-its, cutesy stuff gets darker reimaginings, fantasys get coffee shop aus, modern stories get fantasy dnd aus, and things like say shonen series - which usually dont do romance at all or very well but have friendships down pat - get shipping!
(and maybe theres something to be said about modern media treatment of romance that many find lacking so even romances might not meet expectations...)
so of course, if they find all other elements fulfilling, i would say turning to shipping for fanfics is relatively harmless so long as they clearly know what theyre getting into and arent belittling the media for being something it was never meant to be or harassing about ships
for me personally, i turn to shipping a lot because... well i am actually a romantic at heart and would like to find love, and there can be such compelling love stories between strongly built characters! im not going to expect canon stuff to be about it, i just like exploring the things canon wont and probably doesnt need to to tell a well written story of its kind

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?
That he's 100% one of the good guys but ALSO that he's allowed to be a bit of a jerk! I love that while he says he regrets what he did to Falconi, just a few hours earlier he's right there, literally taunting him about it and being a dick. We know he still lies to ladies for attention! Despite how well that went the one time! In that other ep his dad is literally asking for his help, and sure he wants to help, but he was actually still going to say no before Cartouche stopped him because he was more focused on keeping his identity as a Cartouchien secret.
He's a nice, smart guy, and he comes off as smooth so it's not as easy to notice, but you kinda get the impression that he hasn't completely lost the asshole vibes! And i think that makes for a fun character!
(special mention to the one bit where he walks next to Demachault and messes up his wig Just For Funsies, it's so gratuitous and i just think it's funny ok)
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
Bisexual le Lorrain REAL. I like the idea that those aren't feelings he ever really did anything about, because ultimately he likes flirting with ladies a whole lot and that's enough for him… but maybe he had some confused feelings for his bestie Cartouche for a little bit, and maybe that's part of what made him tag along when they first met.
In general i don't really consider that orientation as something that would've influenced the way he treated Falconi back when they were rivals; for the most part i like to think that he saw that relationship more as competition initially, and that things turned sour because he couldn't stand having someone he thought of as beneath him beating him at anything. Also i see him typically being more attracted to people who are outgoing, funny and talkative, and Falconi being generally none of those things wouldn’t have helped asdfjgk (the fun point being that maybe Falconi could've been a little bit more like that if he hadn't felt like people were constantly antagonizing him)

Falconi just seems cold and mean and not fun#meanwhile Falconi thinks everything about this guy is off-putting. he's loud and annoying and never seems to think!#and of course Falconi clings to his perception of le Lorrain from 10 years ago; when he was selfish and saw commoners as beneath him#so the fic is one massive slow burn bc they just. need to befriend each other before they can possibly find each other attractive#Falconi is always going to be kinda quiet! but he's confident and can actually be fun and snarky when he's around people he trusts#and sure le Lorrain is always going to be kinda loud but he's changed! he doesn't need to be the center of attention all the time#he knows how to pay attention to people and he actually does care! and of course he's smart when you actually sit down and talk to him#and look sure beyond all of this there's basic physical attraction#but neither of them were possibly going to acknowledge any of THAT while everything else was in the way#le Lorrain

Once their final guests departed, Saoirse and Cillian were visited by Father Winter and they spent the rest of their evening opening up gifts under the tree. What Saoirse didn’t know though, was that Cillian had one last gift for her waiting upstairs. When the pair head up to their room to get ready for bed, he presented her with one final surprise that night; a fertility potion. They agreed this is their last ditch effort before opting for artificial insemination since Saoirse has a lot of anxiety surrounding doctors, and she knows how physically taxing the more intensive treatments can be after watching Kimber go through it. Though their week had started off very rocky, Saoirse felt that her Winterfest couldn’t have ended any better. She had the most thoughtful, considerate husband that knew exactly how to salvage their first Winterfest and make it the most special for her.
