i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

you know i think it would be absolutely hilarious if after some time Percy would get so fed up by Mr. D never calling him by his actual name so Percy would just decide to do the exact same thing to him and start calling him anything but Mr. D/Dionysus

like mr. D would be like "Hey Peter Johnson" and Percy would turn around and with a straight face be like " yes, Dave?" and everyone else is just watching horrified like wtf Percy? do you want to be turned into a cockroach????

or Percy would be talking with someone and be like " Derek told me-"

" who..?"

"you know our camp director? god of wine and all that?"

"yeah Dylan...so anyways he told me-"

and then it would become this thing between Percy and Mr. D where they would always try to come up with the most stupid and outrageous wrong names to annoy each other as much as they possibly can

everyone is horrified at Percy and just waiting for Dionysus to smite him but Percy and Mr. D are secretely having a fucking blast

something my husband has always gone along with but never really understood is the fact that i’m a chronic rewatcher. i’ll find something i enjoy and watch it on an endless loop for months. and even if he doesn’t understand my primal need to catch every single detail, he’s happy to just sit with me and listen to my theories and thoughts and explanations.

and then last night as we were watching something i’d seen probably 20 times before he turned to me in wide-eyed wonder and said, “oh my god, that was foreshadowing. i never realized, did you realize??” and i didn’t even have a chance to respond before he said, “stupid question of course you did, probably weeks ago.”

we shared a lil laugh and he turned back to the tv and i thought the conversation was over but a moment later he turned back to me and said, “oh. that’s why you watch stuff over and over again, isn’t it? the more times you watch it, the deeper the meaning gets.”

and that’s exactly it. he managed to sum up something i’d been struggling to adequately convey for months in a single sentence.

I had a lot of fun drawing a couple scenes from @crazedauthor 's isekai AU fic "Reality is Stranger Than Fiction" as an art trade! While drawing these, I realized that I have never drawn Moon with soft features, always as a pointy gremlin. He has stolen my heart with his sweet sweet face and soft personality, and I'm excited to see how Crazed's story will develop! Making these, a fun painting style has developed :3c excited to work like this more often in the future ^-^
