The best part of Will saying he wants forever with Mike so blatantly is that he isn't the one who brought it up, Mike was. In an act of projection he asks "What did you think? by this point, my frustration is justified--if i have:

1) already mentioned in multiple replies that a fic is on hiatus

2) bolded its status and my reasons in the end note

3) added the status and a warning that i will delete comments of the type in my summary

why do i still get asked whether or not i'll ever update again? and that's all they have to say?

becoming increasingly concerned there's a subset of bil readers that don't know how to read or pay attention in a hobby that requires reading comprehension and an attention span

#opinionated verm #redglyphs #also: not into the weird squicky mean-spirited or performative way that some readers take the humor #(which is 100% not meant to be and it's something i intentionally try to avoid)#or caring about the quips over everything else #it's just off-putting and frustrating to see #bc if they cared that much about the fic it's so easy to find WHY i've been busy #or like. at least drop a line beyond the superficial?? i don't need effusive praise or whatever. but it'd be nice to see signs of life #i legit feel like a dog doing tricks for treats with the general attitude from that fic's readership #there's a fromsoft-like meter that fills up to me deleting bil akin to incurring scarlet rot #it sucks bc i loved writing bil + sharing it + have plans to continue it #but it doesn't feel fun to know that rude and ignorant readers still get to enjoy something they had a part in ruining for me #really sucks. i'm not a popular author by any means but bil is my most popular fic by raw metrics-to-duration of posting #and if this is how it be then i never want to have anything more appealing than bil bc damn i'd lose all my hair lol #on bil

anyway part of the reason I think so much about a "Ryunosuke dies on the Burya instead" au is because, as we see, Ryunosuke uses Kazuma's death to become better. It's huge for his character and it influences him, but it's a point of growth

I feel like Kazuma would use Ryunosuke's death to become worse. And that's very fun.

Gained a little more than you bargained for there! Lots of greens and whites! Still such a fun and cute lad with all his segmentation #Also finally cleaned up the Mercandy's amezaiku catfish design a bit - better fins!#It's a bit funny as well since Marshmallow Fluff originally had a mint colour palette as well until I simplified her design :P Things!#Wafer's largely unchanged tho ♪ Seeing them near each other I kinda wanna draw him and Sweet Pea playing now hehe ♥#Finally Taffy! I drew a lot more this year than last, and with less pressure to finish things or even share them and while I wanna.. get back to sharing them and having that confidence I am. So genuinely happy that I haven't been as downtrodden when it came to art and creating this year

oh god the last 24 hours have been a LOT

#currently torn between:#inconsolably elated about 505 and getting to witness the sheer joy and heartfelt hugs of them being onstage together again #devastated for poor alex and his voice #and praying he’s drinking lots of honey and lemon tea and not beating himself up about having to cancel #utterly ECSTATIC about miles’s new single dropping this evening #tiny bit of selfish worry that the state of alex’s health means i might not get to see am this weekend #all in all this would plenty of emotion for like. an entire month #and instead it’s happened in LESS THAN 24 HOURS #genuinely feeling quite exhausted #i think i need to go and lie down and not think about am or alex or miles for a couple hours #which is #not a sentence i ever thought i’d say lol #also my heart goes out to anyone who was meant to be seeing them in dublin 💔#i know we all care much more about alex being okay and looking after himself than we do about seeing them perform #but that doesn’t make missing seeing your favourite band any easier #so yeah #sending love and hugs to anyone in that position 💗#milex #arctic monkeys #lulu posts
