I love the Great Saiyaman.

This poor boy went through severe trauma for the first 12-or-so years of his life and lost his entire childhood to violence, tragedy and loss.

He could have taken all that darkness within him and become the baddest most-emo teen edgelord ever to walk the planet, but instead he chose to become a dorky goofy superhero to protect the innocent.

He is pure cringe at his core but he fights for others to make sure no one else ever has to go through what he went through.

And when he grows into an adult he becomes a well-adjusted loving father with an incredible wife, an adorable daughter, and a loving extended family? Slay, Gohan, slay.

I find it funny when people like Eddie Munson but hate gay people, satanism, metal music, ect... Like bro, that's him. And then all that's left of him is the nerdyness and you totally blank that part out. "He's not a nerd. He's really cool though."

Bro where? He's a DND nerd. And he's not cool. He's a loser. This guy is a total high school loser. And it's amazing. He's amazing. But if you're going to live him, understand him fully.

Also, people make assumptions of him and they're so far off, it's not even funny. Or when people write fanfic and it's like smut, but it's Eddie x some girl. Like, he's gay guys. I dunno, it just irks me.

Basically, what I'm trying to get at is, if you're going to love a character, understand the character.

my mom loves to lie and like she always swears she was NEVER homophobic or anything to me as a child “i even have a gay work friend” but a really funny memory resurfaced recently where i asked if i could use birthday money i had to buy a rainbow flag when i was like ??? 7?? because i LOVED rainbows. and she said no that means something Evil and god will hate you . so what did i do. but ask my grandmom for a rainbow sweater for christmas and proceed to only wear that sweater for three years when it got cold because i didnt like the idea that god hated colors and i wanted to challenge him
