Pairing: Stephen Strange x f!Reader

Word count: 3.0K (I got carried away, oops)
Genre: angst, unrequited love, confession, overall feels!, and soft smut (of course)
Tumblr media
A/N: There’s no major MoM spoilers, just the beginning with the wedding and all that. As much as I love Stephen being a complete daddy in MoM, I need to write me some soft smut. No beta, so if I missed anything, It’s my fault. If you enjoyed this, please please comment and reblog. It just means a lot. Strange was getting impatient with you.
You haven’t noticed it yet, but with all your inability to sit still during Doctor Palmer’s wedding, you were getting on his last nerve.
Another heavy sigh fell from your lips as you sat there beside him, slouching slightly because you really wanted to shift your body. Your fingers fiddled in your laps as you were trying very hard to pay attention to the ceremony, quite unaware of the piercing gaze from the man beside you.
It wasn’t like you were nervous about being the date to the bride’s ex or anything. You really didn’t need to be there, especially when Stephen couldn’t figure out what his feelings toward Christine were.
There was no doubt that the man looked as delectable as it can be in that suit, and there was no doubt that you would jump at his bones if the opportunity presented itself. However, you needed to stop saying yes to him all the time when you were dying on the inside.
Stephen exhaled sharply through his nose before he covered your hand with his. Warmness shot through you as you sat there. You bit the inside of his cheek. His hand was trembling slightly. You couldn’t help but turned your gaze to him.
His brow quirked but said nothing. He was completely unaware of the stinging pain you experienced every time you watched his eyes glimmer whenever his gaze fell on Dr. Palmer, of course. You wished the ceremony ended already. There was so much you could take. Sometimes you wished that Happy had never introduced you to him.
You let out a sharp exhale once he let go of your hand and stood up. Once again, your heart felt heavy as your gaze followed his following Christine walking down the aisle with her new husband. Your heart was heavy as you looked at the man before you trying to hold it in. He was too proud to say it, but Strange was never really over her.
You couldn’t be anymore happier the moment the ceremony was over. You found yourself stationed by the bar, chugging wine and avoiding Strange as best as possible. The plan was going well so far until your date found you.
“I’m starting to think that even my own date is avoiding me,” came a voice behind you. His low baritone voice sent a slight tremor through you, sending your nerve into a frenzy. Heat flooded your cheek as your heart beat frantically against your chest. You wanted to run, perhaps you wanted to go back to your apartment. Whatever it was, you really didn’t want to deal with him right now.
“Not avoiding you,” you mumbled before chugging the last remnant of your drink.
Stephen sighed before ordering himself a martini, his eyes were still on you though. “Your body language said otherwise.”
“You shouldn’t bring me here,” you finally looked at him. “She’ll think that you and I are together or something.”
“And that’s bad because…?”
“You’re kidding, right?” You laughed out loud from sheer discomfort as you stared at him. You watched as the bartender set his drink down before you quickly snatched it away from Strange. He could sense your nervous energy from miles away, which made him wonder how you got to become Happy Hogan’s assistant in the first place.
“I wasn’t.”
The firmness in his tone made your heart skip a beat.
“She asked me if I’m happy,” he said, but he didn’t look at you. Instead, his gaze fell for the bride once more. You had to bite back your uncomfortable laugh before you looked elsewhere, trying to hide your expression. It was getting harder and harder to hide anything at all from him.
“And I told her that I am…”
“Which is a lie…” You pressed your lips together into a straight line.
“You don’t know that. For all you know, I am quite content with what I have right now.”
“Stephen…,” you gave him a look, but his expression was unreadable. “I may not know your history with Dr. Palmer, but I do know that you are a proud man.”
“I am, and you like that,” Stephen teased, trying to hide the small smile as he watched your reaction. You didn’t disappoint him of course as you were slowly and gradually getting flustered.
“I-Um...Oh, that’s just mean,” you shook your head before you slowly walked away from him.
It has been a well-known fact that you have some feelings for him at one point. It was also a known fact that it was a textbook definition of one-sided love. It was one thing to tease you occasionally, but it was another thing to simply play with your heart. You know Strange was cold, but you’ve never thought that he could be this cruel.  “I know I shouldn’t say yes to this,” you mumbled to yourself. You could hear him calling out to you, but you didn’t care. Instead, you turned and headed straight out.
A familiar feminine voice called out your name, making you stop in your tracks. You could feel Stephen Strange not too far behind you. You took a deep breath before turning around and forcing a smile. It made your face hurt. It reminded you of why you have to resign from being Happy’s assistant in the first place. The acting wasn’t for you.
“Doctor Palmer! Congratulations!” you chirped as she made her way toward you. Stephen simply put his hand in his pocket as he watched on with a martini in another hand. You frowned slightly, wondering why he decided to linger there instead of sashay away from you.
“Thank you! I appreciate that. I’m so happy that you can make it–You and Stephen—”
“Oh, I’m just here for moral support,” you quickly cut her off before she could say anything that could potentially make your relationship with Stephen Strange any more awkward.
Doctor Palmer nodded, but a smile still remained on her face. “Yeah..um, I just want to say that I’m very happy that you and he are togeth–”
“Um, definitely not together,” you quickly cut in again. You couldn’t feel his gaze burned into your back. “Again, I’m here just for moral support, and nothing more.”
Doctor Palmer looked at you momentarily before she looked at Strange, clearly confused. “Right....Well, I hope you enjoy the party. I’ll see you two later,”  she bid you goodbye before giving Stephen a nod.
The moment she was out of your earshot, you let out another sigh of relief, but you knew damn well that Stephen wasn’t happy with your answer at all. Your gaze turned to him, but he didn’t say anything.
“Don’t start,” you pinched the bridge of your nose and headed to the hallway. “I know I’m supposed to make you look good in front of your ex and all that, but I don’t think I can lie.” You were basically rambling at this point as Stephen Strange followed you not too far behind.
The sound of your high heels clicking against the marble floor echoed through the quiet hall as you hurried out.
“I didn’t ask you to lie for me,” came his voice not too far behind, but you didn’t stop. Instead, you continued to walk until you both reached the elevator.
“It kinda feels that way when you asked me to be your plus one though,…Look, whatever you are going through, I just can’t…It’s–” you stopped yourself. How would you tell him that you still have feelings for him? “It’s unfair to me.”
Stephen was standing only a few feet from you know. “I know, and I’m sorry.”
You expected a smartass comment from him, not this. You were speechless at his admission as the two of you stood there in the empty hallway. Your heart felt like it was about to burst the more you looked at him. “When Christine asked me if I was happy, I said yes…I told her that I found someone.”
You remained silent as he took a few steps forward until he was only a few inches away from you. The smell of his cologne filled your nostril, lulling you into a haze. “It took me some time to realize it, but I…”
You swallowed as he cradled your face in his hands. Heat flooded your face at the closeness between the two of you. His thumb pressed against your cheek, his gaze softened, melted into a pair of liquid sapphires. “I made up my mind.”
“About what?” You realized that your words came out no more than a breath as your hand covered his. Stephen was inching closer. Your heart felt like it was going to leap out of your chest at the pure anticipation alone. When his lips touched yours for the very first time, you felt like you were about to soar.
Your eyes flutter shut as you melt into him. He was holding you there, kissing you with a passion that you’ve never known he was capable of. His hand trailed to the nape. The rough pad of his fingers gently grazed across your skin, leaving trails of goosebumps behind. You gasped at that, and Stephen took the opportunity to slip his tongue inside your mouth.
Your heart pounded heavily against your chest as he deepened the kiss. His tongue tangled and clashed with yours. Twisting and rolling, leaving you both breathless and panting.  He was kissing you with desperation–a need that was new to you. You moaned at the sweetness that lingered on his tongue, and every time he let out a low, rumbling groan, you felt your panty dampen slightly.
Stephen walked you backward until the back of your knees hit something soft. You quickly pulled away from the kiss, only to find the two of you standing right in your bedroom. “Did you just teleport us here?” It was a dumb question, but you felt the need for some air–or at least something that doesn’t involve Stephen Strange sticking his tongue down your throat.
“Yes,” he said firmly as he discarded his suit jacket and dropped it right onto the floor. He looked flushed, disheveled almost by the way strays of his neatly combed hair came undone. His fingers tugged at his tie impatiently, loosening it before he undid a few buttons at the top till he revealed his chiseled chest. The sight made your throat go dry.
Stephen’s mouth was on you again, this time he was less discreet than before. He kissed you with urgency and hunger that set your nerve ablaze. He gently laid you down on your soft mattress while his mouth was still on yours. His lips traveled southward, and your body surrendered to him without a thought. Your head tilted to the side, revealing the tender skin of your neck to him. His lips trailed down, tongue grazed slightly here and there as if he was tasting you. A throaty moan ripped between your lips as Strange suckled on your pulse point, and gently nipped at it before licking the same spot over. His free hand slowly lowered the straps of your dress to your waist. He stared at you momentarily as if to admire a piece of art–No, you were more than a piece of art to him. You were the sun, the moon, and the universe all wrapped up into one. You were the cosmic force that keep him grounded all this time.
Stephen said nothing before he lowered his head to kiss you once more. His name fell from your lips in no more than a breathless whisper as his beard tickled your skin, making you ache and throb for him. Stephen was lost in the moment as his lips were lingering in the space between the valley of your breasts.
You called out his name once again as your arms snaked around his head. Stephen Strange moaned deeply, sending a reverberation through you as if to assure you that he wasn’t going anywhere. He captured your taut peak in his mouth and began to suckle on it. He was sucking gently at first, then harder, gently nipping at the bud till you cried out, only to soothe you gently with his tongue.
He moved on top of you and pulled your dress all the way off your body. You laid there completely bare underneath him. Stephen’s hand moved to the juncture between your legs and let his fingers graze at your clothed slit. His nostrils flared as he let out a sharp exhale when he found that your panty was drenching.
Stephen gently rubbed you through your panty, eliciting a soft gasping noise out of you first before he ripped the flimsy fabric away from you. His mouth moved to your breast once more, tongue flickering over the sensitive bud, while his dexterous fingers gently pry you open. Your first instinct was to close your legs, but Stephen wasn’t having it. He pressed his knees wide, forcing you to open to him.
Your head fell back against the soft mattress when you felt that he was knuckle deep inside you as he slowly pumped his fingers in and out of you with ease. A shaky moan slipped out of your lips as he pulled his digits back and pushed them inside you again while his mouth was still occupied by your tit.
You begged him almost pathetically, your hand bunched at his hair when he pressed his thumb against your clit.
“Say my name again, baby,” he murmured. The low baritone voice made your pussy throb and clenched around his fingers. Only Stephen Strange had that sort of effect on you. He was watching you now, probing himself on his elbow while the other hand continued to pump in and out of your pussy with vigor.
A smile etched upon his lips as he felt your body tense up around him. Still, he continued with a relentless pace until an orgasm ripped right out of you, causing your body to strain and spasm. Your face scrunched up as you dug your heels into the mattress as the first wave of euphoria washed over you.
“That’s it, baby. Cum to me. Squeeze on my fingers like you want to squeeze on my cock.” Stephen growled as he pressed his forehead onto yours. Perspiration dampened it while you could only reply with a choking sob.
Stephen finally removed his fingers from your sopping wetness as he stared at you. His lips pressed against your forehead. He kissed you tenderly before he pulled back and began to unbuckle his pants.
You watched him with half hooded eyes as he got up from the bed and hastily removed his pants. You swallowed as you watched him stroking himself. The sight made your pussy throb once more as more slick was leaking out of you. Stephen licked his lips at that.
“I don’t have a condom,” he admitted sheepishly as he continued to stroke his erect cock. It was hard to concentrate on his words when your brain only wanted one thing.
“I’m on birth control” you told him as you sat up and pulled him to you. Stephen settled between your thighs once more. His face strained, jaw clenched tightly as he rubbed the head of his cock along your slit. The action made your legs shake slightly as your eyes caught his. “It’s ok, Stephen.”
He growled at the invitation before he swiftly entered you, causing you to hissed sharply. A strangled moan left his lips as your tightness enveloped him. You could feel Strange tremble above you as he was trying to control himself from moving too erratically. Stephen pulled back then eased himself back in again till he was all the way in. His hips arched fluidly, driving himself in and out of you with fervor. You could feel his balls slapped against your ass every time he sheathed himself inside of you.
His hard body pressed against yours closely that you could feel every twitch of his muscles, coiling and bunching from the effort of his movements. Your arms wounded around his neck again as he rutted into you. His lips found your neck once more as he kissed and nipped at it.
You were getting close again as that familiar tightness at the pit of your stomach threatened to snap. It wasn’t long now until that delicious burst of euphoria ripped through you again. It didn’t take long till you cried out and clenched around him, milking him until he too reached his own release. Still, Stephen was still chasing his own, fucking you and using you to sate his own appetite.
Stephen came not too long after, spending himself right onto your stomach. His body went limp next to you, panting and exhausted from the deed.
The silence stretched out between the two of you. Where would you go from here? You and Stephen had yet to establish what this was? Was this a one-time deal? Were his words simply a lie or was everything simply a dream to you?
You felt him stirring beside you before his warmness left your body. Your first initial thought was that he was leaving, but that sort of negativity soon melted away when he came back with a damp towel pressed against your stomach. His movement was gentle, yet exact. Still, you could feel his trembling hand moving over your stomach.
Your eyes caught him again, and words failed you. You didn’t know what to say.
“I suppose you are wondering what we are now?”
You nodded. You wanted to laugh because you really didn’t expect to have this type of conversation at all with him when you were both naked.
“You’ve never told me who that someone is–the person that makes you happy.”
Stephen Strange was caught off guard for the first time in his life as he could only react with an “Oh.”
Your face warned once more as your heart drummed against your chest. A knowing smile quirked on his lips. “Well, It’s you, sweetheart. It has always been you.”
The word rolled off his tongue easily, making your stomach do a backflip. You couldn’t hide the smile anymore when he leaned and brushed his nose against your cheek, kissing you and whispering naughty things into your ears.
Perhaps, this wasn’t a dream after all.

An AWS comic
#My art#For the record I am not a medical professional and as far as I know AWS isn't even something you can be diagnosed with???#It's so hard to describe what the two sensory hallucinations really *FEEL* like#Like the time one... You know how a dramatic slow motion scene looks like in an anime?#It's like that but if you made it a 60 fps interpolated version of it#It is an absolutely bizarre feeling#Meanwhile the hyper awareness and everything feeling intense feels like how a fisheye lens shot in an anime feels#No I could not be bothered to try to figure out how to draw that for this comic#For the record I haven't actually had those visual hallucinations since I was a small small child#Hell I don't even think I had any hallucinations in my teens at all like#The sensory ones just kinda started happening again in the past 7 years or so?#Also the swelling sensation I've only had once so far. Usually I get the hyper awareness sensation#(Also sometimes I get this intense feeling of swaying when I go to bed but that might not be an AWS thing??)#(Like there's other things that could make you feel like you're rocking on a boat when laying down so I didn't include that)#No I have never talked to anyone about these hallucinations because for the longest time I didn't know what they were#And they are like. Harmless. Like I'm 100% aware they're just strange sensations but not real at all#They last max 15 minutes if even that long and they happen like super rarely#Only once have I had the hyper awareness be SO INTENSE it made me feel distressed#So like. It doesn't really affect my life at all? So why bother with it?#Also IDK if I could even go to a doctor and ask about AWS and have them know what that even is#And even if I could as far as I know there is no treatment for it so like. Whatever#As long as I don't start having distressing hallucinations or visual hallucination's I'll be fiiiiiine

I could melt, Stephen thought as he silently slid under the covers. He had long forgotten what it would be like to return home after work to find someone warm and beautiful waiting in bed for him.
Y/N mumbled and churned, feeling the dip. She had finally retreated to sleep after her roommate didn’t pick up her calls nor Stephen seemed to return soon. She sighed as gentle fingers caressed her fuzzy hair.
He felt a bit of disappointment when his arms pulled her closer to his chest. Fucking piece of cloth. But it soon followed a wave of guilt. He had left her without a word halfway through… It wasn’t entirely his fault, was it? Wong had held him up longer than it was required. He let out a breath, glancing outside the window. The sky was still filled with the black fog. It will clear out soon now that we have sent those creatures back to their dimension.
Y/N blinked several times trying to adjust to the light. She remained still, silently watching him stare somewhere, jaw clenched, lost in thoughts, feeling his fingers draw light patterns against the shirt. Even with the messy hair and few dull red cuts across his face he undeniably- She shot up abruptly as the realisation of the events of the past hours coursed through her.
“Sweetheart,” Stephen began, unsure of her thoughts and emotions, “I’m sorry about last night. There were things from other dimensions. I had to go…”
“It was alright. I mean, it was literal life and death, right?”
“Yeah, but—”
“Then I can wait. I’m not that important.”
Faint amusement darted through his weary eyes. “Thanks for the understanding.”
He toyed with the collar of the shirt she was wearing. His shirt, technically. “I thought I left you naked.”
“Naked and aroused,” she corrected.
He hummed and ran a thumb down her neck and in between the valley of her clothed breasts. Her nipples pebbled in anticipation.
“This is not appropriate,” he said, undoing the first button and sweet baby Jesus, she threatened to liquefy under his intense, scolding stare. “This has to come off. Did you try to leave?”
“I had wanted to,” she breathed as his thumbs circled her nipples for a moment.
He noticed the use of past tense and nodded. “Good,” he muttered, pinching her pebbled flesh between his fingers, “It will take some time to clear out the mist. Everyone had been instructed to stay indoors until then. ” It was then she noticed the dark gloomy night instead of the bright sunny morning.
Then he just grabbed handfuls of her aching breasts and crushed them between his palms.
She shoved him away. Then she put her hands on his shoulders, straddling him, her tits were right at his face, and he leaned forward, nuzzling between them. Stephen closed his eyes, mouth drifting towards her nipple. His lips parted over it and latched to it like a newborn’s.
She arched at the suction and he put his hands on her back so she couldn't get away. She groaned, so aroused by alternate waves of suction and his tongue swirling around it, she squirmed in his lap.
He held her down, shifting his attention to the other nipple.
His tongue languidly swirled in circles around the pigmented skin until the skin was drawn as tight as possible. Drawing in a cold breath through his mouth, he flicked his tongue against the bundle of nerves.
She whimpered and pressed herself further into him. He grinned, looking up at her, one hand travelling between them, rubbing circles on her lower abdomen. Eyes closed, her head tipped towards the ceiling, getting lost in the sensations. He returned to sucking her gently before tugging it in between his teeth.
As he felt her body tense up, he sucked harder, nibbling  - driving her into madness.
“I n-need you in me.”
Stephen pulled back and set her loose. “Condoms’ in the bottom drawer,” he informed, leaning back on the headboard.
Y/N leaned down, opened the said drawer and sucked in a sharp breath glancing at the contents. She had never been much into toys. And he had quite the collection. She grabbed the least complicated appliances of all and a bottle of lube.
“I have never tried this before but… the idea… I would like to try this,” she said toying with the cuffs and the cockring.
Strange smiled at her, “Anything that makes you happy baby girl.” He kissed her one more time, tugging at the cuffs.
“What?” He asked, confused when Y/N didn’t hand them over.
“I wasn’t thinking about myself tied to your bed. I want to restrain you.”
He was swept away by utter bewilderment. No one had done that. To him. Ever. I have always been the giver. Never the taker, he thought. He has been so lost he didn’t realise she had already cuffed one of his wrists to the bedpost until Y/N tugged at his other one.
“Besides, I think it’s fair after what you did to me.”
“Fuck,” Stephen muttered under his breath, straining the restraints, “Thought I was already forgiven.”
“You are. This is a penance.”
“Fine, have me as you like,” he snorted.
She smiled, settling in between his legs and leaned in to kiss which he happily complied. He groaned into her mouth as she slid her hand down his chest and squeezed his growing erection through the sweatpants.
She pulled back only to let her lips roam around his neck, shoulder and chest. Working her way up, she blew a warm breath over his ears, kissing the shell while her fingers gently pinched and teased his nipples.
“Jesus,” Stephen moaned, “Woman where have you been all these years?”
Y/N smiled, resting her hands at his waist, teasing the waistband of his pants, “Learning the anatomy of pleasing you.”
Stephen chuckled, raising his hips for her to pull down the pants. He sighed in relief as his cock sprang free.
She bit her lip at his knowing smirk, lubed him and slid the ring to the base of his shaft. He was big. And thick, she thought, lowering herself on her stomach as she pumped him before turning on the vibrations.
He groaned, the muscles of his leg going all stiff as her tongue darted out and swirled around the head. She continued to lick, peppering kisses, along the length of him. He hissed, buckling his hips, as her mouth licked and sucked his balls.
Y/N smiled, stepping up the speed of vibrations.
“I might lose my patience and use- fuck.”
She took as much as possible of him in one swift go. Her eyes watched him throwing his head back and wincing upon hitting the headboard. I’ll never forget this one. She had been nervous - Would I be able to give him enough pleasure with so little experience? However as her mouth squeezed, caressing up and down, satisfaction burned on his handsome face.
Stephen sat there entrapped, watching her head bobbing, one hand stroking what length of him she couldn't fit in her mouth and the vibrating ring… He continued tugging now and then against the hard metal of the handcuffs even though the wrists burned in pain. He never thought he would like this so much. Oh, her nails, dug into his thigh.
“You're taking me so well, sweetheart-,”
He took a sharp breath, gasping as he felt her teeth gaze at him very gently. She looked up at him, all doe-eyed, flickering her tongue on the underside of his cock.
He wanted to break free, caress her hollowed cheeks, pull her hair to the back, and wantonly fuck that mouth. “Oh, my,” he grunted, feeling himself near the base of her throat. His hips thrusted of their own accord. “I’m so close.”
Y/N stopped immediately. “No,” he cried out at her. She gave him a slow, devilish grin. And sat up, scrambling away from him. It took a tremendous amount of effort when every bit of her ached for him.
“What are you doing?” he grumbled watching her climb out of the bed, relaxing into one of the armchairs beside the bed, across the fireplace.
“I’ll let you come only when you beg nicely.”
“I don’t beg,” Stephen snapped.
Y/N shrugged. She flaunted the control before turning down the strength of the vibrations.
Stephen strained his neck as he continued to glare at her. “You’ll be punished for this baby girl.”
She gulped looking at his darkened eyes. “I-is that so?” Don't be intimidated, she reminded herself.
Y/N hesitated for a moment, then ran her hand down her stomach and in between her legs. She spread her knees and slowly began touching herself. She closed her eyes, knowing that he was watching her every movement, she imagined it was his fingers stroking the bundle of nerves. She smiled wider when she slipped her fingers into her slick slit.
How have I turned into such sex hungry woman?
“I could do better,” he voiced once she started to whimper. She wanted him to but she didn’t want to halt now. Not when she-
She shivered as the wave of heat washed over her.
When she opened her eyes, Stephen was staring at her hungrily, but strangely patient. “Since you are done with yourself, you might finish what you’d started,” he said with a pointed look. “Please,” he added.
Y/N sighed. Still, a little wobbly from the orgasm, she settled in between his legs. He relaxed back watching her slide off the cockring. She wrapped one hand around the base of his cock, squeezing him, while her tongue played around following each line, curve and crevice, as he was the most teasing appetiser imaginable.
Stephen let out a deep low moan, thrusting his hips upwards.
He cursed under his breath as her mouth sheathed him, working him up again.
“Y/N,” he grunted, thrusting his hips in a slow rhythm. Leaving his cock, her hand rubbed his thighs before cupping the balls.
“Don’t stop,” Stephen whimpered as she quickened the pace.
“You look so pretty like this. Guess you’d look better only when my cock goes rampant in that pussy.”
He had been silent most of the time except for the few noises he made, she almost choked at his filthy words. Looking up at him she couldn't think it possible, but those light grey eyes darkened even further when her fingers trailed below his scrotum, applying subtle pressure around the perineum. He jerked in her mouth when she found his sweet spot.
“Yeah,” he moaned, “S-so close.”
Amazed by her own boldness, she stroked him harder.
His insides were screaming guttural exhilaration. He was sure he would go crazy by the time they were going to finish. His hips jerked unsteadily, grinding against her mouth until everything stilled.
It was more and more. Tears welled at the corners of her eyes as she choked on the sheer volume of his semen. Her throat was already full and his ejaculation was nowhere near an end. Lots of it, as if he hadn’t come in months, years, maybe never.
“That was ethereal,” he breathed, “you tortured me so sweetly…”
Y/N smiled, wiping away the drips of cum lining her mouth. “I’m glad you liked it,” she sat up and kissed him. It was slow and gentle at first, their lips moving languidly. When he kissed her harder, she threaded her hands through his hair, pressing herself further against his hot, slick body.
He cast a simple spell after it was too much to bear. She grasped when hands clutched her waist, moving her around. He settled her amongst the pillows. “You have no idea what it took not to break free of those cuffs and fuck you as animals do.”
However before she could say anything he reached beneath, pinching her clit hard, until it hardly even felt like it was a special nub, but something else entirely. “Now, it's my turn to return the favour.” His looming figure left to reach out into the drawers. He snapped his fingers and a red cloth blinded her. “And torment you in the sweetest way possible.”
Stephen stroked her thighs, gradually sliding his hand up until he touched that heated core of her womanhood.
“Oh, doctor!”
“Do you like that, baby?”
She nodded wordlessly.
He put his head between her legs, nuzzling at first. His beard was a little rough on the insides of her thighs. He stroked her with skilful fingers. Then with his lips, and his tongue, he struck fire. A slow, fat lick brought his tongue to her aching button, and as soon as he touched tip to tip, white light exploded through her. His skilful tongue rubbed, nudged, and poked in a rhythm like a giant pulse. She cried out in astonishment, in appreciation at being touched in that right place.
Y/N’s legs twined about his head and shoulders desperately, she was beginning to buck her hips, beginning to come. She bit her lip to suppress a moan as her skin exploded into flames. Holy fuck, Stephen.
“Let me hear those noises, sweetheart,” he crooned against her sensitive flesh, making her wither under his subsequent licks.
She moaned gutturally, her hands grasping fistfuls of the sheet on either side of her hips as a shudder shook her head to toe.
Stephen smiled and gently began to pet her with his fingers. He glided one finger along the gaping cleft, then very slowly and gently penetrated her. Y/N whimpered. He touched her lightly at first, testing her with one finger, moving carefully. Then he stretched her with two fingers, curling them upward as his thumb began to rub tiny circles. He never took his eyes away from her, listening to her breathing speed as his curled fingers found her spot inside. He bowed his head in admiration, bringing his lips to the top of her inner thigh, teasing her before taking the flesh into his mouth and sucking with abandon, while continuing the movements of his hand. It was an extraordinary combination.
Y/N put her own hands on her breasts and her palms rotated the nipples.
He took her again in his mouth until she was weak and quivering, fondling her breasts until they were swollen with hot blood, the nipples stiff.
She tightened even more around his stroking finger and he increased the speed and depth of the thrusts. She reached the peak swiftly, spasms of her pleasure shuddering through her entire body, pelvis rising from the bed as if seeking something in the air.
He reached up his free hand to rub her quivering belly and fondle her breasts. She jerked and made a little sound, and he raised his head to look down at her. Heat bloomed over her cheeks as his thumb brushed over her nipple.
Yes,” she whispered, all her senses hyper-focused on the overwhelming touches.
Stephen kissed her, his mouth skimming over her taut abdomen.
“Harder,” she pleaded but he paid no heads.
He was kneading her breast gently, and when his mouth finally reached her nipple and closed over it, she moaned and clutched at his shoulders, her hip bucking against his fingers, her senses nearly drowned by the waves and waves of burning pleasure.
Along with those waves came those strange creatures: gratitude and hunger. Gratitude at being touched in the right place, in the way, at the right time. Hunger for something she was after, something she was trying to achieve, and there was always the danger that she’d miss it, wouldn’t find it, or get hold of it. She couldn’t get enough of him. It felt like a punishment.
A silent invisible wave squeezed and squeezed her hot throbbing sex. She felt her entire abdominal area cramp as it would during her period. It was like the sweet torment he had warned her about. Anytime now, she thought, I would burst like a sea fish held under the tap water.
The entire torrent, the pulsing flood of sensation, sent her over an unseen barrier, and she slid, throbbing, down, down, down into hot squeezing pulsing incognizance.
“Oh my God, Stephen,” she squealed as a spray of fluid came gushing out of her pussy and soaked the sheets beneath them.
“Had told you,” he whispered near her ear, “I could do better.”
After regaining some of her senses, she tugged free of the blindfold. As her eyes adjusted, she saw him emerging from the washroom, drying his hands in a towel.
“I’m so sorry,” Y/N said, tears blurring her vision.
Stephen immediately went to her on the bed and scooped her up into his strong arms. “What's the matter, baby?”
“The bed’s a mess,” she cried, burying her face in her hands, “I’m so sorry.”
“It’s just a little wet, it’s no big deal. Are you…are you embarrassed about squirting?”
He watched her face turn red with shame beneath her hands, and he gently pulled them away from her face, shaking his head at her.
“No, no. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. I loved it. It’s so fucking hot. It meant I had given you the most pleasure.”
Once he was sure she was over the edge, he asked her to lie on her stomach and wait for him. He held an unfamiliar bottle, squeezing out a generous amount of lube into his palm, then bending over and rummaging through his toys.
She swallowed hard glancing at the beaded silicone toy, “I couldn't take that…”
“Have you ever tried?”
She shook her head.
“It won't be nasty,” he said, “trust me.”
“I want to but that thing is scary.”
He obliged, tossing it back from where it came and settled, parting her legs.
“Tell me when it gets uncomfortable,” he said, sliding his fingers between her legs. She nodded into the pillow, mumbling okay.
The fingers of his right hand trailed through her cleft, gathering up her arousal, and then continued its indecent path up, slipping between her cheeks. He swirled over the taboo spot, each circle smaller than the previous one until the tip of his index finger was there, pushing gently to gain entrance.
“How does it feel?”
“Weird.”
Her breath came out stuttered. He was naughty and corrupt. But he stopped the movements at once.
“There are a lot of nerve endings here.” His finger resumed its swirling, proving his point. “Trust me sweetheart I won’t be doing anything that could remotely hurt you. And I would stop whenever you want me to.”
“Okay,” she murmured.
A shudder rolled down her body as his finger probed the ring of muscles.
“Squeeze and relax,” he guided.
She did as instructed, making little ‘uhs’, as his finger slipped through the virgin muscles of her asshole.
Shame and euphoria battled in her mind as his finger slowly, gently thrusted in her. Her thoughts swirled wondering how she ended up here. She was supposed to be on the giving end. Giving him penance. Instead, he was in charge, finger fucking her ass.
With no warning, she climbed the cliff and jumped off as heat bloomed from deep within her.
Y/N felt tired and sore but she didn’t care. She couldn’t get enough of him. She wanted him inside her. She wanted the ache. She wanted to squeeze him in. She wanted to watch his face. She wanted him in ways she had never wanted anyone before. It was like something had been invented. By him in that very bed. Or something he had unleashed. It was something raw she couldn’t put her finger on.
Finally, when he returned to her side, she got on top of him like her original plan. Her palms rested on his chest, as her hips moved to press and rub her swollen lips against his groin.
She’d never done it before. And couldn’t really believe she was doing this. It felt like she was in charge.
He watched with a hooded gaze as she reached back, held him and tried to put him in.
“Condom,” he reminded her but she denied it.
“I’m clean of STDs if that’s what you are worried about,” she spoke, guiding him in. She was so hot and wet, he slipped in faster and deeper than she anticipated.
“The way you came over my fingers, I can guarantee that you have barely ever fucked anyone.”
She snorted and squeezed her muscles making him hiss.
“I don't want you to get preg-”
“I’m on birth control for medical reasons.” She squeezed him again, “Can you come? Just from this?”
Stephen smirked. “I might if you try harder and longer.”
She continued to clench around him, rotating her hips, and rocking softly until he went mad. He bucked, splitting her in two. His hand flew to her waist, holding her body, lifted her off and drove her down impaling on his cock.
One thrust was enough to have her addicted, he knew that well, so he let his hands rest under his head.
She repeated the action, again and again, ramming herself down on him. Her thighs burned with the exertion. Sweat dampened her forehead and hair as she rode him, her breasts bouncing between the force of gravity and the thrusts. However, she was getting fatigued.
She gave in when his strong, capable hands wrapped around her and pulled him closer towards him. Her head rested on his chest as his hands caressed her back. Then he slammed into her, so deeply, she thought it couldn’t be possible. Wordlessly he proved her mistaken as he did it again and likewise. It felt like he was making her from the inside out. He speared her, plunged inside her, crushing her into him.
She was close and could tell by the way the muscles in his chest tightened, he was close too. She saw his jaw bulging as he gritted his teeth, trying to keep from coming as long as he could. She wanted him to come. To lose control. Just like she had.
Closing her eyes, Y/N channelled the heat of her orgasm to squeeze him, and at just that moment, she felt his cock jump inside my body, seemingly growing even bigger than it had been, then half a second later blasting his hot semen inside her.
Somehow, after many minutes of silence, they smiled at each other and laughed.
“We should do it another time at least,” she said, finger doodling on his bicep.
“Studying or having sex?”
“Both,” Y/N replied, nuzzling into the crook of his neck.
Stephen hummed in agreement, “We should do it regularly.”

Stephen Strange x Avenger!Wife!Reader
summary: It’s YN’s and Stephen’s wedding day. That’s it.
word count: 1.6k
warnings: nothing, just tooth rotting fluff, but some suggestive bits if you squint, some bickering between Tony and Stephen
author’s note: That’s just a “little” drabble because I need to get back into writing Stephen <3 Totally self-indulging here because I want that Stephen to be my husband bye
;
The buzzing sound of almost 150 guests echoed through the lavishly decorated venue while waiters and waitresses glided through the crowd to fulfill every guest’s wish and desire for the booze and appetizers Tony had personally handpicked. The memory alone of the Stark, sitting at the kitchen counter with an assortment of every possible canapé one could imagine, made her eyes roll, but a smile tucked at her lips.
He may not be her biological brother, but he damn sure behaved like one ever since she sat foot into the former Stark Tower, following a busy Fury and Hill, and didn’t know what to expect.
Now, at this very moment, it felt like another life. Now, she was one of the most powerful beings – and married.
Looking down on the hand that held the glass full of the (probably immensely expensive) white wine she had secured at the bar, the two silver bands twinkled up to her – one with more shiny stones she had ever imagined to have, and the other more simple but just as beautiful as her engagement ring. Older guests had suggested to take off the first promise to fully (and proudly) display the second promise given today, but one needed to kill her in order to get that ring off her finger.
Softly shaking her head, YN leaned against a pillar, took a sip of the cooled wine, and closed her eyes for just a second. She only needed a minute to destress and savor some sanity before heading back into the loud environment of which she was the centerpiece. Somehow the invitation list had gotten longer and longer and up to a number she never imagined hosting a wedding for. It was strange how life could change, but YN never wanted it a different way.
Long strides crept closer and closer, but she almost didn’t catch them, too deep in thought and enamored by the view in front of her. They had been lucky with the weather all day long, and now, the most beautiful of sunsets graced her eyes. A sigh escaped her softly colored lips, full of contentment and happiness.
“Mrs. Strange,” a voice in her back startled YN a bit. Still, she turned her body slightly and looked over her shoulder to spot the most handsome man she had ever laid eyes on. A smile full of contentment, but mild wonder, etched itself on her lips. “That’s me,” YN grinned, still not over the fact that she indeed married this dream of a man.
Stephen smiled down at her after he took the last two steps to stand directly in front of her – his wife – and cupped one of her cheeks to press a soft kiss on her lips.
“Yes, that’s you,” the sorcerer whispered and kissed her another time while he wrapped his arm around her waist and held her close. YN had her eyes closed, savoring the feeling and the calm moment between them. It was the first since the photo session had ended, and the guests had demanded their full attention and availability. She had obliged because, after all, most of them were considered family in her eyes. But now, after almost four hours of mingling, small talks, and barely any time for the newlyweds to themselves, she had enough.
Another sigh escaped her lips as YN gently rested her forehead against his chest, and she promised herself to only stay there for a few seconds. But as always, she couldn’t move after Stephen had bent down his head to press a soft kiss on top of her hair. His big hand stretched itself over her almost bare back (the dress may seem a bit over the top with the low cut back, covering the exposed skin only by a thin layer of lace, but it had spoken to her in that damn dress showroom) and started a pattern of soothing brushes and strokes. She could feel the slight shakiness in it, but she knew him better than herself, and that’s why she was certain that it was worse than usual. She raised her head again and furrowed her eyebrows, wrinkled her forehead, and studied his handsome face.
Stephen knew that look in her eyes all too well, and she didn’t need to ask the question laying on her tongue – but she did nonetheless. “Is everything alright?” Forgotten was the glass of wine that had found its new home on the small table just around the pillar (which was actually a plant stand, but it didn’t matter), and YN grasped his arm to pull the moving hand from her back. She enveloped it with both her hands – one was too small and not enough – and with her thumb, gently rubbed over the scars on his knuckles and long, elegant fingers. The sorcerer nodded, almost invisible to unknowing eyes. “Long day,” he said, and YN cooed lowly before pressing a kiss on the back of his hand and removing the lipstick stain with a soft laugh.
“We could just… run and flee. Start the honeymoon earlier. It’s our party, after all,” the bride suggested with a mischievous gleam in her eyes, and Stephen shook his head, a chuckle rumbling in his chest. Instead of taking her hand and doing just that, the man put his arm back around his wife’s waist and looked her up and down. “And being robbed of the opportunity to show my gorgeous wife off? Please.” He bent down and whispered, “I need to imprint the fact that you’re off the market and mine into every single brain of all those foolish boys.”
He straightened himself again and smirked his signature smug grin at the sight of her lovely blushed cheeks. YN hit him against his chest with an open hand and scoffed. “As if they didn’t know that already.” She rolled her eyes at his antics, but Stephen only grinned. But then, she grasped his black tie to pull him closer to her. Their bodies were pressed firmly against each other, which was another promise for the upcoming night, but one of the more suggestive kind. Stephen caught himself with a hand propped upon the cool stone of the pillar in her back, right next to her face, and her other hand was placed at the nape of his neck, fingers softly carding through the short hair there.
Now it was her lips that softly touched his ear. “Everyone in there knows that I was always yours, without a pause or doubt. Ever since meeting you, it had always been you, and only you. I wouldn’t have needed a big wedding or a ring at all to prove to the world that I belong to Stephen Strange and him alone, but I did it because I loved the prospect of wearing your rings and showing you off.”
YN’s lips brushed from his ear over his jaw until they reached the corner of his mouth. The breath had caught itself in his throat, and with a low growl, Stephen pulled her even closer – if that was even possible. “You’re making an unholy man out of me, wife,” he rasped, but YN laughed at that with a twinkle in her eyes. “You were never a holy man, Stephen, don’t try to fool lil ol’ me.” She kissed the corner of his mouth another time before rubbing the lipstick off it. “But keep your dirty thoughts to yourself for just an hour longer because I see the rest of the not-so-secret secret boy band coming right up to us.”
At the sound of Stark’s voice, the sorcerer had to roll his eyes in annoyance. Was it too much to ask to get his wife to himself? But he straightened his posture nonetheless.
“The wedding was a complete success. No running on his part, but I’m not sure which outcome I would have liked better.” Stephen rolled his eyes – Tony never was a fan of their relationship, not to mention the engagement – and Steve cleared his throat and smiled at the pair. “Again, congratulations. Don’t mind him or his words.” Thor wasn’t far behind with his reply. “I caught him crying during the ceremony, Lady YN.” Scott nodded in approval. “Even heard him saying something nice about Harry Potter.” Now it was YN to roll her eyes and shake her head. “You lot are insufferable,” she grinned before trying to push Stephen to say something, but that man was stubborn as a brick wall.
Instead of saying something, he surprised everyone around him – plus herself – by scooping his wife into his arms and carrying her from the balcony. “Party is over, Stark,” he spoke over his shoulder while YN started to giggle and chuckle. “We’re having a private party.” At his mumbled words into her ear, the woman grinned brightly, and a laugh escaped her at the sight of an opening portal that showed her most favorite spot in all of New York City.
“I finally can dance with my deadly handsome husband in peace and without any of those pestering stares of all those drooling women.”
Now it was Stephen who grinned and put her down on the soft grassy ground of The Battery, the portal closing behind him with a soft swoosh. The couple ignored the surprised stares of the few people that mingled in the park to get a good look at Miss Liberty.
“I never looked at them. Didn’t even know that they were there.” YN smiled up to him while he pulled her close, both hands around her waist, her hands back in his neck. “I know,” she whispered with a confidence unknown to her before Stephen came into the picture.
With him, she knew that this was a forever kind of thing.

Say Don't Go | Stephen Strange
a/n: i just wanted some angst and here it isssss
Tumblr media
Everything had felt like it was crumbling around you for the last few weeks. The distance he put between you, the quiet which left you almost hollow. You would stare at the front door, beckoning him to walk through it, only for him to let you down. You didn’t know what to do or how to make it better. What was there to say to someone who wasn’t putting in the effort to love you as you deserved to be?
The evenings he does come home, he won’t look at you. He won’t touch you. It’s as though a part of him that once adored you had died and all that remained was this silhouette of a man who used to belong to you. You knew his life was a strangled case of despair, that everything seemed to crumble around him after the accident. But you never expected Stephen to shut you out. You thought there was more to your relationship than this bitterness.
Sitting on the barstool in front of the counter as you finish looking over a case for tomorrow at the hospital, that’s when your heart scatters in your chest at the unlocking of the front door. He stumbles inside, his complexion drained of all color. There is a heap of sorrow sitting in the middle of his back. The weight he carries looks detrimentally heavy and within time, you knew he’d fall to the ground and be crushed by his grief.
“Stephen?” You call out to him. Your eyes trace the outline of his body, his bandaged hands, and the withering of his fingertips as he splays them on the door. You can see him taking in a couple of deep breaths before the sound of his forehead thumping against the wood has you closing your folder and crossing the distance before your brain can catch up.
Standing before him with his back turned to you as it has been every time you see him, you swallow the thickness and blink back the tears. You will not cry in front of him. You promised yourself that you wouldn’t let him see you fall apart.
“Stephen,” you say his name with a little more force.
“What?” He snaps harshly, his head craning to the side. “What?” he asks again when you don’t respond immediately.
“Where were you?”
“I was–” he draws in a sharp breath and stops talking. “Nowhere.”
“Nowhere? Please, Stephen. Spare me. I know you’re hunting like some madman for a cure, some sort of way to fix this situation. When will it stop? When will you let me in?”
Stephen’s shoulders clench. You can see it through his clothes. The tension could be sliced with a knife as thick as it lays between you two. “You couldn’t possibly begin to understand what I’m going through.”
His words stab like a sword, straight to the heart.
And the next words out of your mouth make him flinch.
“I would be able to understand if you’d drop this grieving facade and let me in!”
You wince after the term grieving, knowing that struck a chord in him. He slowly turns to face you and you see nothing but wariness on his features. His eyebrows pinch together as he glances up at the ceiling, forcing himself not to look you in the eye.
“Grieving facade?”
“Stephen, that’s not what–”
“No, no. You don’t get to say that to me! I don’t expect you to understand what I’ve lost because of this damn accident! These hands,” he lifts his scarred hands, deep blooms of red and purple and blue splotching his skin from the surgery. His eyes are glassy but he won’t let them fall, just like he knows you won’t cry in front of him. “Are my life. My livelihood is centered on what I can do with them. I’m a neurosurgeon! The best there is! And now I can’t do what I do best! You wouldn’t understand. You’ll never understand.”
You stare up at him and your body trembles with the desperate need to sob. “You shouldn’t even be here.” he finally pushes past you and leads himself into the kitchen.
“What?” your voice cracks.
“I don’t need you.” He whips around, his face reddening as the anger surges and boils to the surface. “I don’t need you coddling me! I don’t need you waiting here every night for me! I don’t need YOU!”
The words are out of his mouth when the first tear slips free followed by another. And another. And another until his image is completely blurry from crying. That was the final thread, the string that held you two him. He just severed it in two. Your head falls into your hands as you sob uncontrollably, listening as the man that you loved just screamed that he didn’t need you.
You’re not sure what’s going on in the rapidly spinning world but the moment you feel his touch on your shoulder, you find your bearings and flinch away from him.
“I-”
“NO!” You scream. “You don’t get to say that to me, Stephen! You don’t get to hurt me because YOU’RE hurt! That’s why I’m here– to help you! I know how much this accident has affected your life. I know there’s nothing more you love than to be in that operating room, saving lives, and making a name for yourself! I KNOW THAT! But you… You don’t get to say that to me. I can’t believe you said that!”
Stephen’s face morphs into so many emotions but the one that sets in stone is remorse. Shaking your head, you walk over to the counter and grab your folder and purse. “Where are you going?” he asks.
“Someplace where I’m needed since you don’t anymore.”
“Sweetheart, I’m sorry.” Stephen’s voice is tight. “I’m just angry. I-”
Holding up your hand, he stops talking. “Figure it out.”
His eyebrows lift. “What?”
You point a finger at him. “Figure out what it is that will make you happy. Figure out what you need.”
“I need you.” he hisses. “I need you!”
“You should’ve thought of that before you said you didn’t.”
“Am I not allowed to be angry?!” Stephen’s voice roars.
You angrily wipe away your tears as you sling your bag over your shoulder. “Of course you do, Stephen. You’re allowed to fight, kick, punch, and scream. But never will you take that anger out on me, the only person who has stuck by your side since the accident happened! Who’s taken off work to be with you, to help you recover? Who’s cooked for you? Who has ensured you met every appointment, drove you to those appointments, who has loved you through this entire freaking mess?! ME, STEPHEN! ME! I’VE LOVED YOU THROUGH IT ALL!”
Stephen flinches the higher your voice grows. Your chest heaves, a quick rise and fall as your nerves pulse with the need to throw something. You bite hard on your cheek until you taste blood, knowing that if you say anything else, you’ll bury the casket that was once your love for Stephen. You adore him. You love him. But you’ve officially reached your breaking point.
“I need some time to regroup.” You exhale.
“How long will that be?” Stephen dares to ask.
You shrug your shoulders. “I don’t know.”
“I love you,” Stephen says.
His heart squeezes in his chest, waiting for you to say it back. But when you inhale and grab the doorknob, he feels you slip through his fingertips.
“Bye, Stephen,” you say before leaving.
It’s when the door shut behind you and you made it to the safety of your car that you sobbed your heart out.

The door slammed shut behind him as your boyfriend stormed in, growling, “I’m mad.”
Cutting your eyes at him, you snapped, “Don’t break my freaking door.”
Stephen was at your side in a heartbeat, leering over you with a very frustrated and equally hungry look on his face. “I like when you yell at me,” he flirted, cocking an eyebrow.
Scoffing, you rose to meet him, grabbing the collar of his shirt in your hands. “You know, when you’re needy, it’s really obvious.”
“I tried,” your boyfriend whined, winking dramatically at you. “Now, can you help me with this really big problem in my pants?”
Pouting your lips, you teased, “oh, big problem, you say?”
He nodded, puffing up his cheeks to look cute and pathetic. Gosh, did it work.
“You seem tense and stressed,” you crooned, gripping his biceps and massaging them before working your way to his chest.
Swallowing loudly, Stephen grabbed your hips and kneaded at your waist.
“I’ll make you a deal,” you said softly, bringing your lips to the side of his neck and pressing a loud, open-mouthed kiss.
“Mm, what’s that?” he hummed, tightening his hold on you.
You stared into his eyes and told him, “I’m going to bend over the back of this couch and let you fuck all that stress out, on the one condition, I better finish.”
“Fuck yes, you will,” he growled.
Smirking up at him, you pecked a quick kiss on his lips and followed your promise, spinning on your heels and grabbing the top of the kitchen counter. With your plump butt offered to him in shorts, he drew a blank, standing there with his jaw slacked before he came back to his senses.
The belt jingled and his jeans hit the floor around his ankles. A hand slid between your thighs, fingers working their way around the material of your shorts and panties before pushing between your lower lips. You braced your forearms on the cold surface of the counter and bit your lip, inhaling sharply as a digit pumped inside you.
“You’re wet enough,” Stephen rasped a moment later, yanking your panties and shorts down your legs, without bothering to free them from your ankles. A second later, the head of his member was at your entrance.
“Mmph,” you exhaled as he thrust into you, bruising your hips with his restraint. He curved gently at first, steadily picking up speed until he couldn’t hold back anymore.
“Damn it,” Stephen groaned, squeezing your waist in a death grip as he pounded into you, letting out all his stress and anger and borderline exhausting himself.
Your legs buckled at this, struggling with the intensity of his thrusts into your core, and you wavered on tiptoes, trying to use more of the counter where it has dinner over there for balance.
In a heartbeat, Stephen wrapped his arms around your waist, driving you back into his chest. His hand was at your jaw, turning your head so he could lick at your lips before sliding his tongue between them. Fingers moved to your clit, rolling and pinching at the rhythm of his hips.
"Steph..." You whimpered, your eyes rolling, and your back instinctively slumped down into the frigid surface, both of your legs on his firmly gripped arms. “S-so good, babeㅡ“ all you do while he works hard on his sex-making job is only whine beneath him, every move of his hips thrusting in and out eagerly more than you could bear, it's smack your face and showing you how wet you are.
“Shh…” he grunted, bumping your core more speedy and pulled out when he sensed you reach your cloud nine before him just as usual, Stephen grins that you finally splash out to your orgasm juice all at once. He then holding you against him possessively while chasing the high for you both. And when you put out your tongue in lots of pleasure, his white sticky cum splashes all over your face.
“Ahㅡ you made me came so fast, Y/N.”
”Hmm, and your taste so good.”
You laughed as you licked your lips and bite your fingernails, you spotted him slip his cock and release even more sperm on your stomach. His stiff cock, which still stands upright and points at your face, is quite endearing.
Stephen isn't done with you yet, and you know it, which is why he has got his hand on your hips again. When his tip slides, circling on your wet fold, till he pushes it into you and buries his palms on the back of your head, you begin to quaver moan once more.
He starts to fuck you again, this time slowly as you always pleasing.
“I really want to stay like this forever,”
“Like what? Like this?” With chuckling, you brushing his sweaty hair on his brow upward. “Then how we gonna walk while your dick inside me ‘like this.’”
He smirked, shrugging. "Maybe like this." Then he quickly lifts you up off the counter, his muscular arm now pressing on your spine to support the weight of you.  It makes you scream with thrill, tie your legs around his quickly, your palm confusedly gripping his shoulder and then wrapped around his neck, his hard cock too deep.
“Oh一” you cried out, shuddered and grasping for breath, “fuck, oh my, fuckㅡ Stephen!”
“I got you, baby girl.”

I Can See You - Stephen Strange x Reader [Christmas Special]
summary: You are a student of the mystic arts, studying at the Sanctum Sanctorum under Doctor Strange's and Wong's guidance. You are nearing the end of your apprenticeship, and ready to celebrate at the Kamar-Taj Christmas party, yet your growing attraction to Stephen makes it hard to focus on much else (not even those delicious roasted almonds you love so much). When you sprain your ankle, and Stephen is there to offer his aid, you realize that his cold demeanor towards you might not be because of negative feelings after all.
pairing: Stephen Strange x Apprentice!Reader
word count: 3k
warnings: age gap
a/n: Merry Christmas everyone! This is another contribution to my Swift series <3 and a Christmas special. My next one shots will be accepted requests.
Masterlist - Discord Server - Request Info - Taylor Swift Series
Tumblr media
And we kept everything professional But something's changed, it's something I like They keep watchful eyes on us So it's best that we move fast and keep quiet
You were standing in the hallway of the Sanctum Sanctorum, a book in your hand. Quietly humming the tune you were listening to through your earbuds, you browsed the pages. The Sanctum was quiet, with Wong away on some business and Stephen having barricaded himself in his study. Most days were like this, so you had to find ways to entertain yourself when Stephen or Wong did not bother you with magical training.
You were in the last year of your apprenticeship and could call yourself a master of the mystic arts as soon as next year was only one week away. You had been looking forward to spending this month with Christmas activities, but had been met with extra work given to you by your fellow sorcerers. Although you were their apprentice, you had become more of a friend who was magically similarly powerful to them already, just in a different way.
As a natural witch, you had a certain affinity towards magic, yet the mystic arts were not the type of magic that was inherited and so you had had to work your way up the ladder just like any other student of Kamar-Taj had.
You hadn't been to Kamar-Taj in ages, so you were very excited about the Christmas party that would take place later today. You would see your friends from your first year at the temple again. It was extremely exciting to properly socialize since Stephen barely paid attention to you outside of his lectures and assignments, and you barely knew anyone from this city; you had grown up in a remote town far away from New York.
You put the book back where it belonged and left the living area to climb the large staircase that dominated the foyer. Its railing had been decorated with lights that glowed in even intervals.
“(y/n)!” You heard someone shout your name behind you, so you stopped in your tracks and turned around, tapping on your left earbud once so the music would stop.
Stephen stood in front of you with his arms crossed in front of his chest and an annoyed expression on his face.
“Have you finished your paper on interdimensional threat elimination yet? Wong said he’s still waiting for your email.”
“Of course,” you replied, taking the earbuds out and dropping them into your pocket. “I wanted to send it to him just now.” You wanted to say how unnecessary it was to give you one last assignment that was due on Christmas, and a theory one at that, but you bit your tongue and swallowed the thought.
He hummed a response, cold gaze lingering on you while he seemed to think about your answer. Without another word, Stephen then turned on his heel and left for the kitchen, leaving you standing on the staircase.
You sighed and continued towards your room. The way he spoke with you lately was getting on your nerves, and you realized how he could sometimes not even look at you. It stung, wondering how his opinion of you could have dropped this much, especially in regards to the secret feelings you harbored for the sorcerer.
You closed the door behind you when you reached your room, trying to forget the encounter you had just had. Your room was moderately sized, with antique furniture and a large golden mirror next to your king-sized bed, neatly made with green velvet bedding.
To get into the Christmas spirit, you had decorated your room a little with some lights and a wreath, whose four thick candles were each lit, enchanted so they wouldn't extinguish or transfer the flame to any flammable object.
You approached your desk in front of your window, letting yourself sink into the office chair in front of it. You had a good view of the business of Bleecker Street, so you observed for just a moment longer. There were many cars today, and people dressed in thick jackets that kept them safe from the falling snow, carrying presents in large bags or underneath their arms.
You smiled softly as you opened your laptop and quickly sent Wong and Stephen the PDF document. Normally, you would have gone over it again but today you really did not have the nerve or the motivation to do so. Besides, you had been done with it for almost a week already.
After placing your earbuds back inside their case and leaving them on your nightstand, you exited your room, heading down the hall to Stephen's study. It was the first room next to the stairs, and its door was typically closed. Today was no exception. You knocked carefully and pushed it open a bit.
“Yes?” Stephen said without looking up, keeping his eyes firmly on the book he held in his hands.
You opened the door further and leaned against the doorframe, studying your mentor with a raised eyebrow. Sometimes, you wondered if he used his excessive research as a coping mechanism, as there was no way a single person could be so intertwined with their work.
“I sent you the email,” you informed him, your eyes resting on the book in his hands. “And I was wondering when you would want to meet downstairs for the Christmas party at Kamar-Taj.”
Stephen sighed, placing the book back onto the shelf. He turned to face you, his expression unreadable.
"Right, the Christmas party," he said. "Wong mentioned it.”
You narrowed your eyes slightly, trying to read him, realizing that he had forgotten all about it until now. You sighed, averting your gaze for a moment.
“You don't plan to attend?”
“I do not. It would be irresponsible of me to leave the Sanctum unattended on Christmas.” He walked around his desk and let himself fall into his chair, turning his PC on with a click of his mouse.
“The last time you went to a party was the full moon one two years ago,” you reminded him, crossing your arms in front of your chest.
He was about to reply when he stopped for a second, looking at you perplexed. “You remember that?”
“Either way,” you continued, ignoring his question as you placed one hand on his mahogany desk, “Wong said he'd make sure someone would be there to take care of the Sanctum. So if you want to come along, he and I will meet in the foyer at seven.”
Stephen looked up at you while his fingers ghosted over the keyboard of his PC, but you didn't give him time to answer as you turned and left his study, closing the door behind you.
It took you some time to get ready, and music could be heard coming from your room throughout it all. You had opted for a short red dress that sparkled in the light of your room. It was dark outside when you were done, and you were very thankful for the time spell put on Kamar-Taj today so that time zones did not matter. You couldn't imagine getting ready like this at eight in the morning.
You put on your heels, and grabbed your coat and a clutch before you left your room, locking it with your magic. The cold New York air caused goosebumps to appear on your legs; a window must have been opened somewhere.
You descended the stairs, gripping the railing to steady yourself in the heels you wore, careful not to trip. A smile appeared on your face as you spotted Wong standing at the foot of the stairs. He was dressed elegantly, yet not overly so for a simple Christmas party.
“Will Stephen not be joining us?” he asked, blinking at you while scanning the stairs behind you in search of the other man. You merely shrugged your shoulders in response.
Before you could reply, Stephen emerged from the Sanctum library to your right and joined the two of you. He wore a white shirt and a tie, his hands hidden inside the pockets of his black trousers. A red scarf hung around his shoulders, and you immediately recognized the cloak of levitation’s pattern in the fabric.
“And here I thought you'd be spending most of the evening studying a tome,” you teased, looking up at him to meet his eye.
“Well, this party can also be seen as a celebration of you becoming a master of the mystic arts. What kind of mentor would I be if I didn't celebrate that?”
Wong shook his head, extending his arms to create a portal in the middle of the Sanctum’s foyer. It came alive in a frame of sparks, glistening yellow and bright, reflecting in the gemstone you were wearing around your neck. It had no magic, yet it complemented your eyes.
“(y/n) is more of a friend than an apprentice, Stephen. To both of us. You should not see this as an obligation.”
You pursed your lips as the awkward silence that followed, but Wong had only said the words out loud that you had been thinking the entire past weeks.
Stephen did not reply and you could not bring yourself to meet his eye, so you only offered Wong a faint smile before stepping through the portal.
All three of you exited the portal in the heart of Kamar-Taj, where ancient buildings adorned with mystical symbols rose against the darkening sky. A warm, magical glow enveloped the surroundings as you entered the main building, greeted by practitioners of the mystic arts who were adorned in elaborate robes, mingled beneath enchanted decorations that turned the air into a cascade of glittering snowflakes. The aroma of exotic spices drifted through the air, and you immediately felt your mouth water.
You navigated through the lively crowd, and your face lit up when you spotted old friends and mentors from your time at the temple. You immediately engaged in conversation with them, Stephen and Wong joining you. Each of you took a drink from a nearby floating tray, clinking your glasses. Wong seemed to be feeling particularly sociable, but Stephen did not say much, his gaze occasionally landing on you or his wine glass.
“Please excuse me,” Stephen said after a while, leaning towards your little group so you could be heard better against the loud music and vibrant chatter around you.
When he turned to leave, he accidentally brushed his hand against yours in the process, causing you to freeze for a second and meet his gaze. His bright blue eyes held you captive, and you swore you could hear the music fade in the background. Before you could react in any way, however, Stephen had already cleared his throat and maneuvered around you, downing his drink.
You looked after him, lips slightly parted, before Roslyn, a girl who had started her magical studies around the same time as you, snapped you back into reality. “You good, (y/n)?”
“Um, yeah,” you replied, smiling a little awkwardly when you looked at Wong, who had a faint grin on his lips. “What?” you asked, almost snapped, but Wong only raised his arms in defense.
“I didn’t say anything.”
You cleared your throat again, offering the gathered a smile before excusing yourself as well. You found your way to the buffet outside with flushed cheeks, set up in a place usually used for training. The air was cool but not cold enough to make you shiver. You smiled at the faces that were familiar to you and muttered a few greetings when people approached you.
The buffet was large, but your focus lay on a bowl with roasted almonds, which you had always loved since you were a little child. You took a smaller bowl and a spoon and put some almonds in yours before leaving the training area, popping one deliciously sweet almond into your mouth. As you were about to climb the flight of stairs leading back up to the main building, a drunk boy, who couldn't have been older than sixteen, bumped into you.
You tried to regain your balance, but you stepped onto the stone floor wrong, causing your ankle to twist at an awkward angle. Hissing, you held your ankle as a sharp pain shot through your leg. Your bowl of almonds had shattered on the ground next to you, and you stoically twirled your hand, using witchcraft to make the pieces disappear. The mystic arts required too much concentration and handwork at times, and your innate magic often came in handy.
“Watch where you’re going, dude!” you shouted, but the boy had already left. He probably did not even realize what happened.
You attempted to walk, but each step hurt more than the other, so you took your heels off and limped into the building. Shoes dangling from your right hand, you used the other to hold onto pillars and walls to stabilize yourself, trying to find a quiet spot. At this time, the library would be empty, and it was not far either.
With the aid of magic, you opened the heavy library door and let it fall shut behind you, exhaling deeply as the loud noises were muffled by the door. Cursing, you slowly walked over to an armchair nearby and sat down on it. Your heels landed on the floor, your hands both massaging the hurting ankle. You barely even registered the books that surrounded you, some of which were bound by chains. Back when you were studying in Kamar-Taj, you had always wondered about their contents, but now you could only focus on the pain.
“(y/n)?” You heard Stephen ask, lifting your head to see him appear from behind a bookshelf, brow raised. “Did you hurt yourself?”
“Some drunkard ran into me, and I think I sprained my ankle.” You leaned back in your seat, sighing as you cursed yourself for never having shown much interest in healing magic.
Stephen put the book in his hands aside and approached you. “Let me see,” he said calmly as he crouched down in front of you and lifted your ankle with his hands. You hissed at the sudden contact, the pain intensifying for a second. You sometimes forgot that he had been a surgeon before a sorcerer, so you watched as his skillful hands felt for any severe injury, occasionally causing you to wince in pain.
“It’s sprained,” he agreed, not waiting for a response. His hands began to glow in a faint yellow light, the healing warmth instantly relieving your stressed joint. As Stephen slowly worked on your ankle, your eyes locked. His hand traced gentle circles on your skin, and you weren’t sure whether this was required for the spell, but you did not protest, even finding yourself closing your eyes in response to his touch.
“You have a knack for finding trouble. I don’t think that’s ever going to change, is it?” He asked, a smile playing on his lips as you opened your eyes to meet his.
“A sprained ankle is hardly trouble, compared to the other things you had to keep up with these past two years,” you said, chuckling softly. He did not reply.
The pain ceased, and Stephen let go of your ankle. He rested his arm on his knee as you studied the injury, realizing that he had healed it completely.
“Thanks,” you said a little shyly, which even surprised you.
Not wanting the situation to turn into an awkward silence, you stood from your seat, causing him to do the same.
You were about to turn and leave, lips parted to say goodbye, when you noticed him staring at something above you. You followed his eyes and blushed deeply as you saw mistletoe floating in the air between you, surrounded by a golden shimmer.
Swallowing, you looked back at him, blushing deeper as you asked, “Are you doing this?”
You felt stupid because of how hopeful your voice sounded; it was hard to deny you liked him, but he had always been rather cold towards you, which was why you were so glad that Wong had always been so nice to you. If he only knew the way you saw him, you were sure he’d never speak to you again.
Stephen looked from the mistletoe to you, shaking his head slowly. “No, I'm not.”
Realizing that this must be some joke one of the other sorcerers was playing on you, you quickly excused yourself and apologized, turning to leave when his hand on your wrist stopped you.
You turned to look at him, your eyes wide in surprise.
“I didn't say you have to leave,” he whispered, his eyes briefly dropping to your lips. It was hard to breathe when you watched him inch closer towards you, giving you enough time to back away if you wanted to.
He raised his hand to touch your cheek gently, brushing some strands of hair out of your face before burying his fingers in your waves. Something had changed in the way he looked at you, and now that you thought about it, it had changed a while ago already. Precisely around the time he had started acting colder towards you.
Stephen was so close now that you could see the small dark speckle in his blue eyes, something you had never really noticed before. You held your breath as you saw him pull away, conflict written all over his face.
It was your turn to hold onto his wrist, making him look at you. You didn’t know what encouraged you to press your lips against his, but as it happened, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders to pull him close. You felt him tense against you; he had not anticipated your boldness, but soon he melted into the kiss, holding you by the small of your back.
As you pulled away, you smiled up at him, only to realize that the mistletoe had disappeared, but Stephen placed a hand on your cheek and directed your gaze back to him.
“Merry Christmas, (y/n),” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. You saw how your red lipstick had stained his own lips. With a small smile, Stephen leaned in again, capturing your lips in another lingering kiss. The soft glow of your magic enveloped you both, creating an aura of enchantment in the quiet corner of the mystical library. It was in involuntary response to his touch; emotions guiding sorcery. As he pulled away, he met your gaze, and there was a newfound warmth in his eyes, a spark of something unspoken yet profound.
I can see you in your suit and your necktie Passed me a note saying, "Meet me tonight" Then we kissed and you know I won't ever tell

[Name] never understood the true meaning of love until she met Stephen Strange. The first time she met the Sorcerer, he had saved her before a large concrete debris could squish her during the Black Order’s attack on Earth seven years ago. Unfortunately, she was a victim of the snap and five years of her life were gone, just like that.
In an attempt to gain traction of normality, [Name] spent a majority of her time in New York where she met with Stephen again. Little did they know, it would sprout into a beautiful relationship. A coffee offer turned into a date and a date turned into a two-year healthy relationship. Stephen was the first one to confess. He was ready to let go of his hold on Christine and move on. He found a future with [Name] and he vowed to not mess it up the same way he did with Christine.
It became his biggest regret.
Stephen woke up with a frantic yell, cold sweat coated his bare body. His chest heaved continuously, the nightmare plagued his mind. It felt all too real too. Stephen raised a hand, fingers pushing hair away from his forehead as he forced himself to absorb the experience. Turning to his lover’s side of the bed, he found it to be empty.
“[Name?],” Stephen called out, only silence greeted him. That’s when he realised that [Name] had an early shift in the cafe. The cold was familiar but that doesn’t mean he liked it. Stephen very much prefers waking up next to [Name].
Pushing the duvet off, his attention was caught to his side table, an opened envelope rested against the bedside lamp. Stephen picked it up, mentally slapping himself for almost forgetting about Christine’s wedding. With a wave of his hand, his closet doors opened. But before he did anything else, he picked up his phone. There were ‘work’ emails and texts from Wong. Among all that, Stephen smiled when he spotted her name. He tapped on the message.
[Name]: Good morning, handsome! I left some breakfast for you in the kitchen. Have fun at Christine’s wedding! And send my regards to her
His smile widened at the attached photo of his lover dressed in her barista attire with a fellow colleague. She was winking, tongue sticking out with a peace sign held up beside her head. Shaking his head at her childish yet adorable behaviour, he left his phone to freshen up with [Name] on his mind.
Stephen waved his hand, his tie magically bound itself around his neck. He slipped on the black blazer, smoothing the fabric down. The Cloak levitated by the mirror and with another wave of his hand, the sentient fabric was disguised as a red handkerchief for his breast pocket. He looked good but he was sure he would look better with [Name] on his arm.
Fastening his watch on his wrist, the very same one [Name] gifted him on their first anniversary. Stephen smiled fondly at it, the crystal glinted under the dimmed light. His thumb brushed the leather, shaking his head to snap himself back to reality.
He had better leave or else he would be late for the wedding
Stephen arrived at the church by walking. He prefered this way. He recognised the street too, noticing that just a few blocks down was the cafe [Name] worked at. He made a mental note to pick her up after the wedding, only then reminding himself that she would end her shift around the time of the reception.
He walked past the doors, the church was bustling lightly with guests of the wedding. Stephen looked around- He always knew how much Christine loved simplicity. He chose to sit a short distance from the altar, just to watch Christine and her new husband share their vows.
He took his seat, waiting patiently until the ceremony began. When the doors opened, flower girls led the bride, littering flowers in the path she walked. The guests stood, Stephen included. Christine had a big smile on her lips as she held the bouquet of flowers in her hands, walking down the aisle.
Their eyes briefly met and Stephen knew that old Stephen would still be in love with her. But he wasn’t. He loved [Name] with all his heart.
However, Stephen couldn’t help but imagine this wedding to be his own with [Name]. ‘When the time is right,’ The Sorcerer thought, his focus brought back to the wedding.
The reception was at an adjacent building to the church. Stephen was alone, sipping on a martini when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned, meeting with the new bride.
A soft smile spread on his lips.
“Christine,”
“Stephen,”
“Congratulations on the wedding,”
Christine smiled, adjusting her gown.
“Thank you,”
Silence.
“So..I saw that you were alone. Where’s [Name]?,” She began.
Stephen set his drink down.
“Last minute shift at work. She sends her regard,”
Christine laughed lightly, nodding.
“I’ll be sure to thank her when I see her again. Although, I hope the next wedding I attend is yours and [Name]’s,” Christine teased.
Stephen found himself growing more and more comfortable with these light and almost teasing conversations with Christine. He hated past Stephen’s treatment of her but he had the time to fix their relationship. It was good probably because [Name] forced him to set it all right and Stephen loved her more for that.
A woman tapped on Christine’s shoulder, whispering something to her before leaving.
The shorter woman looked up at Stephen.
“I have to go. Enjoy the rest of the reception,” And she left, leaving Stephen to order another glass of martini.
For the next two hours, Stephen forced himself to mingle around. He wasn’t surprised to find fans of him attending the wedding too and he was humble to be their favourite. He was on his fifth martini and he looked down at his watch. He needed some fresh air so he left for the balcony.
The warm sun struck his face and Stephen sighed softly in relief. He looked down below, watching New Yorkers go about their day as well as vehicles cluttering the street below.
As his eyes scanned the street below, he spotted a distant figure looking all too familiar. It was [Name], bag clutched to her chest and another man pestering her by the looks of it.
Stephen’s eyes darken, fingers gripping the stem of the martini glass.
[Name] thanked her manager for the early release. It was two in the afternoon and she was exhausted from the lunch crowd. She held her bag close, leaving the cafe hastily in the direction of the Sanctorum. Greenwich Village wasn’t big so everything was within walking distance, probably.
[Name] had a spring in her step as she walked, excited to see Stephen at home looking all handsome in his suit. Stephen had dropped her a photo of his wear for the wedding and she had to excuse herself to the back of the cafe to swoon to herself. Despite their two years of relationship, [Name] could never get enough of Stephen and he was the same. She imagined him looking magically handsome in their imagined wedding, an audible sigh escaping her lips.
However, her little dream bubble was interrupted when a man tapped on her shoulder.
“Hey, miss! Sorry but I can’t help but notice you. You’re really pretty, you know that?”
Uncomfort grew largely in her chest, swallowing as [Name] tried to ignore the pesky man but to no avail.
She walked faster and even if she did, the man caught up to her.
“Hey come on now, pretty lady. Don’t ignore me like that,” He grinned an ugly grin and she turned to him.
“Leave me alone,” She snapped, rolling her eyes.
This wasn’t her first time being approached by men who clearly couldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer. The other two times, Stephen was there to protect her but right now, [Name] was alone and she had to protect herself. A last result method would be the little device Stephen gave you to protect yourself.
It was a little spray tube that when sprayed at, the victim would fall asleep on the spot.
[Name] rummaged her bag for the little tube but she didn’t feel anything. Did she leave it at home?
‘Of all the days,’ [Name] groaned.
[Name] felt a hand caught her wrist and she tensed as the man had that same ugly smile on his face.
“Come on! Just try to get to know me, yeah? I’m really a good guy,”
He had a vice grip to her wrist and the more [Name] struggled, the more her wrist hurt.
Stephen has had enough. He downed the last of his drink, turning to politely return the glass to a waiting staff. Grabbing his handkerchief, he flicked it out, the Cloak was out of its disguise. Stephen vaulted off the balcony, the Cloak wrapped around his shoulders to save its master. He switched his suit for his blue robes, swiftly flying down to [Name]. Wedding guests and nearby passersby gasped at the mini show, watching as Doctor Strange heroically save a woman.
He grabbed the man by the collar, pulling him off the woman.
[Name] winced, rubbing her wrist, stepping away to give Stephen some space.
“Listen here, asshole. I don’t appreciate you treating my woman like that. Hell, or any woman like that. It doesn't hurt to treat them with some decency and respect,” Stephen growled, blue eyes dark with pools of fiery anger hiding behind them.
He tightened his grip to the frightened man’s collar.
“If I ever see you disrespecting anyone else, I will do so much worse than this. Now leave,” Stephen hissed, shoving the man back and just before he could run, the Cloak gave his head a final,  hard smack as a form of warning.
He wasted no time picking [Name] up bridal style, the woman squeaked in embarrassment from the sudden act that she buried her face in Stephen as he flew back to the Sanctorum.
Stephen set her down on her feet, his hands held her waist as [Name] let out a heavy sigh of relief. Her cheeks were still red and hair was a slight mess from the wind.
“Thank you..I was beginning to think he was never going to go away,”
Stephen cracked a small smile, a hand moving up to cup her cheek.
“Don’t thank me. I was nearby,”
[Name] squinted hard before snapping her finger.
“Right! Christine’s wedding was close. Oh, thank you so much, honey,”
She leaned up, giving him a tight hug and a sweet kiss to his cheek.
All anger Stephen felt dissipated into nothingness, heart cooled from the affectionate gesture. His other hand held [Name]’s wrist, the one where the man held tightly. It was red and felt relieved when he noted that it would not bruise.
“I’m alright, Stephen,”
“I know, baby, but I just have to check,”
[Name] smiled. He cared so much and she felt so loved by how much she cared for him. She was no hero but she did her very best in only giving Stephen the best form of love he could receive from her.
Stephen’s hand moved to her waist again, gripping it tightly before leaning in until their foreheads touched. He leaned in further.
[Name] laughed lightly, leaning in for a kiss too.
But a heavy shake of the ground pulled both out of their little world.
“What was that?”
Stephen pulled away completely, rushing towards the edge of the roof to look down below.
In the distant street, people were screaming and running away from something.
“Trouble. I have to go,” Stephen levitated, ready to leave.
“Wait!” [Name] rushed to Stephen, tugging him down. She planted a kiss to his lips, giggling lightly from the tickle of his goatee against her chin.
“I love you. Now go save New York, Doctor Strange!” She cheered, stepping back. She waved to Stephen, the Sorcerer had a wide smile and never has she seen Stephen Strange smile so widely, especially one filled with so much love and adoration.

Walking down the street, back towards the sanctum, your eyes passed over the various Valentines themed storefronts littering the streets.
Most years you couldn't care less about the hallmark holiday, but this year the hope you might celebrate it was strong. Though, the doubt that sat in your chest was even stronger.
Ever since you joined Stephen at the sanctum, developing your own powers, you had also developed feelings for him. You hoped that he might feel the same. But he never said anything, and you couldn't find your own courage to ask him, or tell him how you felt.
Within that doubt of his feelings, you feared it was all because of Christine. She was kind, and beautiful, and you knew he loved her at one point, you wouldn't be surprised if he still did.
You wondered if he was going to reach out to her, and ask her out for Valentines Day. Send her flowers, or chocolates. Would she accept? Would they rekindle their relationship? While you sat in the background and watched with a broken heart?
As you got to the sanctum, you pushed the thoughts out of your mind. Not wanting to dwell on something that hasn't even happened.
Entering into the sanctum, your eyes immediately landed on a large bouquet of roses sat on the table. You slowed in your steps as you eyed them.
"Those were delivered for you earlier." You heard Wong speak from the nearby room.
Looking at him and then back at the flowers, your heart was pounding in your chest.
"Who are they from?" You asked, though you figured he wouldn't know.
"No idea." He said, confirming your thoughts. "Isn't there a card?"
Searching through the foliage you found nothing and shook your head. "No. Are you sure they're for me?"
He nodded "That's what the delivery man said."
As he walked away he smiled "Maybe you have a secret admirer?"
You smiled, but your heart was hammering ad your ears were burning. Why would someone not send a note? Could they be from Stephen?
Just as you thought this, Stephen walked through the room, his eyes landing on you and then the flowers. "Got a Valentine Y/n?" He asked, a small smirk on his face as he continued into the other room, seemingly unbothered.
Doubt settled in your chest as you faked a smile and spoke softly knowing he probably wouldn't hear you. "Not as far as I know"
Looking back at the flowers, you smelled them and smiled softly. No matter who they were from, they were beautiful. Taking them up to your room, you thought about who they could have been sent by, and why.
The idea of who sent the flowers to you never left your mind, but you went on with your day, wondering if they would make themselves known.
The next day, as you wandered through the sanctum, you heard Wong call your name from downstairs. Leaning over the railing you peered down, seeing him holding a large heart shaped box.
"You got another delivery."
"Wha-" Your mouth hung open in confusion and bewilderment before you made your way downstairs.
As Wong handed the almost comedic-sized box of chocolates to you, you shook your head "What is going on?"
Wong shrugged as he shook his head "Like I suggested yesterday. Perhaps you have a secret admirer."
"But who?"
Wong looked around before leaning a bit closer and whispering "Stephen?"
You met his eyes and let out a soft breath "I doubt it Wong."
Wong could sense the disappointment that sat in your tone and he frowned slightly "I think he feels more than you think he does."
"If that's true, he doesn't show it."
"Or maybe he does?" He said while tapping the chocolates lightly.
You looked at them and thought about it "But what about Christine?"
Wong sighed "I suppose that, I don't know. Maybe you should ask him?"
You scoffed lightly "And what if I just ended up embarrassed?"
"Well, at least you'd know either way." He patted your shoulder lightly with a smile before he walked off, leaving you to contemplate what to do next.
--- --- ---
As you made your way through the sanctum looking for Stephen, your breath was a bit uneven as anxiety coursed through you. You decided to not only get Stephen chocolates, but to make them yourself.
Fear of how he might react, caused you to come up with various reasons and excuses for the chocolates if he rejects you. They are obligatory, or you might tack on that you made some for Wong as well.
Walking past the library, you halted when you heard Stephens voice.
"Y/n?"
Peering in you smiled "Oh there you are."
"I thought you might be looking for me, I could hear you walking all around the sanctum" He smiled as he pulled a book from the shelf.
You smiled a bit bashfully, the chocolates behind your back.
His eyes darted from your arms to your face before he smirked softly "Not another one of your experiments gone wrong is it?"
You chuckled as he recalled your failed attempts at spell work when you first joined the sanctum. "No. Well, yes, but it has nothing to do with magic, and it didn't go wrong...I hope."
He quirked his brow as you set a box in front of him. Sliding it over, he lifted the lid and felt his heart jump lightly as his eyes fell on the chocolates. Each obviously homemade, and made with care at that.
His smile eased your anxieties a bit, but you still found yourself holding your breath.
He looked up at you "You made me chocolates?"
You shrugged and smiled "'Tis the season, and all that."
You watched as he took one out before taking a bite. After a moment he looked back at you and nodded "Delicious."
You smiled, somewhat proud of yourself, as you tried to ignore the burning of your ears.
After eating the rest of the chocolate and wiping his hands he held up his finger "I actually have somethig for you too."
Your heart seemed to stand still for a moment as you froze. "You do?"
As he reached into his pocket, he pulled out something wrapped in a sage green fabric.
Handing it to you, you slowly opened it, sparing him a few glances as you did so. The fabric was a soft silk and within was a medallion on a beaded chain. You recognized the rune on the medallion as a magic rune symbolizing protection.
"A protection rune?" You asked with curiosity and awe.
He nodded his head "It wont make you invincible, but it will warn you of oncoming danger. Which, in our line of work, I hope to be helpful."
You grinned at him "Thank you Stephen that's very thoughtful, and it's beautiful."
"I thought you might like it."
"What is it for? I mean, besides the protection part."
Stephen looked down at the chocolates "The same thing these are, I hope."
He saw you furrow your brow slightly as you gently toyed with the medallion. You feared maybe he misunderstood the meaning behind the chocolates and you feared you may not be able to say it properly.
"I hope you also like your chocolates, and flowers?"
Your eyes darted up from the medallion to Stephen as he stared at you with a cocked head and subtle smile.
"The- those were from you?"
Stephen slowly approached you "I wasn't sure if just giving you to them out of nowhere would be too forward, but-" he looked down at the chocolates and smiled "Maybe I was just overthinking it."
"Overthinking it?" You questioned, afraid you might be misunderstanding him.
What if the flowers and the chocolates, had no meaning behind them and he was just being kind?
"Asking you to be my Valentine." He said with a smile "I kept wanting to ask you, but I wasn't sure how."
"Oh. What about-" You hesitated, afraid to ask.
He squinted "What about what?"
"What about...Christine?" Your voice as soft, as though you were afraid to even say it, to bring it up.
His brow furrowed even deeper as he shook his head softly "What about her?"
"Well I thought....I suppose I thought you still had feelings for her."
A subtle, almost sad smile crossed Stephen's face as he shook his head, taking a step closer to you.
"I care for Christine and always will, but only as a friend. The only person on my mind in any serious way, is you. Only you. "
Taking the medallion from your hand, he began to place it around your neck as he looked into your eyes.
"I hope I can show you that more now."
After placing the medallion around your neck, he kept it in the palm of his hand as he stared into your eyes. "You never said if you'd be my Valentine."
You tilted your head a bit "Well, you never really asked."
He smiled as he let out a soft chuckle "Fair enough."
He took another small step closer, his voice soft and his gaze intense. "Will you be my Valentine Y/n?"
You smiled at him silently for a second before you nodded softly "I would love to."
xx End xx
I'm not sure how I feel about how this came out, but I hope you enjoyed it~

If there was one thing you learned from this was to never tease Strange.
You knew you were treading on dangerous ground when you decided to openly flirt with one of the men there. He hasn’t spoken to you or even acknowledged you, and you were his date–his current lover. You couldn’t help but feel jealous when you knew the type of history they shared. Not to mention that your doctor was looking extra sinful today with that suit after all. It took a lot out of you to just not jump his bone while you two were on your way here.
You could feel him eying you across the room with that piercing gaze of his, trying to take a sip of that martini calmly as possible when he was feeling all sorts of primal urges to drag you back here and showed everyone who you belong to. He knew it was partially his fault for asking you to come here with him just because he couldn’t face Christine himself. He knew it was unfair for you, yet he still insisted on you coming to this wedding as his plus-one. He just didn’t realize you were going to torture him like this. That sort of miscalculation was the reason that he now had to watch his woman talking to another man.
You let out another laugh, which drew his attention away from his own thoughts. This time, he noticed the young man’s hand was getting a bit too friendly on your waist. A brow quirked as he noticed the way you subtly removed his hand away from you with a polite smile, but he didn’t take the hint. Something inside him clicked. He didn’t mind the harmless flirting. What he did mind was the touching part.
No one touched what’s his.
Stephen chugged the rest of his drink and set it on an empty table before he made his way to you. Jealousy was practically seeping out of his pores as he inched closer to you that you couldn’t help but look his way.
“Doctor,” you breathed, welcoming his solace despite the intense gaze burning right through you. As much as you enjoyed teasing Strange, this little game of yours was becoming too nuisance. You were fine until your silly little pawn decided to touch you without your permission. Strange has made it clear to you many times that he doesn’t like anyone touching you, and you were quite aware of the consequences.
Strange would want retribution.
“Darling,” he forced a smile, the kind where his lips pressed together into a straight line and gave you that knowing look. You noticed the way his jaw clenched tightly that the muscles flickered and strained. His strong arm snaked around your waist possessively as he fiercely pulled you to his side. Warmness radiated off his large body and made your body tingle. The smell of his woodsy cologne filled your nostrils, making your head spin. “I’ve been looking for you.”
His voice was polite, but there was an edge to it that made your body shudder by the way his voice dropped an octave lower. Your body ached and throbbed.
“Well, I haven’t gone anywhere. Just here. Talking to a friend while you were busy chatting with Christine,” you replied with a smile.
“I was just catching up with an old friend, that’s all,” he replied back quickly. Stephen narrowed his eyes at the man before him. There was nothing special about him, yet somehow you picked him. The choice itself offended Strange. Surely, if you decided to make him jealous, you could at least pick someone better looking.
The young man was more than thrilled to meet Stephen, but both of you were too busy engaging in the battle of the will to bother to listen to him. Stephen suddenly took you by the hand before the young had time to finish talking. You tried to pull away, but his grip was stronger. You quickly apologized to the young man for your boyfriend's rudeness. Stephen rolled his eyes at that when he heard him calling after the two of you. With a flick of his fingers, the young man’s drink spilled all over himself, which caused a commotion.
“You’re being an ass right now, Stephen,” you hissed as he calmly escorted you out of the crowded room and into the quiet hall. He was walking too fast, taking long strides that made it impossible for you to keep up. The murmuring of the wedding guests in the main hall could be heard even if you and Strange were this far away.
“Oh you love it,” Strange muttered back. His grip tightened around your wrist, practically dragging you at this point. His clear sapphire eyes darkened like a raging storm waiting to unleash. With a wave of his hand, Strange opened up the mirror dimension. Reality cracked, shattered like glass as he dragged you inside. If the two of you were going to lash it out here, he’d rather no one heard about it. The perk of being a sorcerer.
You were still fuming to be aware that you were no longer in your world. “You’re being mean,” you whined as you pulled back, but Strange was stronger. With a quick turn, Strange stopped and pushed you against the stone rail. You hissed at the sharp coldness that pressed against your lower back. He caged you in with both arms on either side of you, trapping you there.
“Said the woman who abandoned her boyfriend.”
“Said the man who can’t get over his ex!” You bit back. You knew how to push his buttons, and right at this moment, you were practically slamming all of them.
You watched his nostrils flare as he inched closer. The smell of alcohol lingered on his breath as the heat of his body radiated off of him, warming you to your bone. You couldn’t tell if you were scared or aroused at this point. He was looking devilishly handsome, and the fierceness in his eyes was more than enough to get you wet.
“Choose your words wisely, darling,” he said in a slow and deliberate voice. A shiver rolled down your spine, and your pussy tingled.
“Or what?” you challenged. The simmering hurt you’ve been feeling all afternoon finally boiled over. “You started this, Stephen. You brought me here so I can watch you gawked over your ex-girlfriend.”
His hand reached out to cup your chin, watching you with half hooded eyes. His expression was unreadable, but whatever he was thinking, you continued anyway.
“So what if I was a bitch for trying to make you jealous? At least I don’t lie to myself, Stephen.” You were mumbling at the last part as angry tears threatened to fall, but you were better than that.
He remained silent but his fingers trained down till he reached the column of your neck. Instinctively, your head tipped back slightly, welcoming his touch. His callus fingers grazed just beneath your jawline, leaving your skin with goosebumps in its wake. Your breath shuddered as your rage slowly dissipated into a longing. You wanted–no you were wishing Stephen to curl those long, slender fingers of his around you. The anticipation made you ache terribly that a whine slipped right out of you.
“Jealousy doesn’t look good on you, darling,” he finally said. The gray storm in his eyes still swirling. He was still fuming–still angry at your audacity to humiliate him like that.
“And neither does it look good on you,” you retorted back. Your voice came out no more than a breathless whisper. “But here we are.”
“I will not apologize for the way I acted in front of that man,” he said firmly, his hand trailing down. You let in a sharp intake as he laid his palm flatly against your chest. Your heart beat rapidly, practically bursting out of your chest as you glared up at him. “But, I will apologize for making you feel like I valued Christine more than you…”
You stopped breathing for a moment as your gaze softened. Strange continued, this thumb gently rubbed at your collar bone, eliciting a shaky breath out of you. “Christine will always be a presence in my life, but…she is my past. You on the other hand are my present.” my future.
You swallowed at his admission, realizing how much you have longed to hear those words out loud. How foolish of you to ever doubt him.
Stephen cradled your face in his hands. “Now do you understand why your little game has become a problem?” You couldn’t answer him. “I always thought you are my good girl, but you wounded me, darling. You wounded me and humiliated me. Whatever shall I do to you?”
His deep baritone voice was smooth like velvet. Each word melted off his tongue with a silent promise. You shuddered at what was to come.
“Are you going to break up with me?”
A smirk etched on his lips, cracking his sharp marbled features. His hand was now on the nape of your neck. A sharp exhale left your lips as his lips were only inches away from yours.
“You? Never. You'll always be mine, sweetheart.”
With that, his lips crushed yours, silencing whatever words you were about to say. Electricity flowed in your veins, buzzing and humming as his tongue danced with you. A low moan reverberated from deep within his chest as he pressed his hard body against your, trapping you there. His name fell from your lips like a breathless incantation as his hand roamed your body. His fingertips dug at your side.
Strange was kissing you along the jawline now, nipping and licking you without a thought. A surprised gasp tore from your lips while he hiked your leg up, ripping your dress slightly as he pressed his growing bulge right into your core.
“Stephen…” you managed to mutter before your eyes bulged out when you noticed the waitstaff starting pouring from the reception hall. “Stephen, please they are going to see us.”
He only replied with a grunt before slipping the straps of your dress off of your shoulders and beginning to kiss his way down to your chest. Another shaky breath left your lips as you pleaded with him, afraid to be seen in such a compromising position.
“Stephen…” you breathed when his lips found your mound. His tongue flickered and licked at the stiff bud. “They’re going to see us.”
“Then let them,” he grunted before he continued to suckle on your breast.
You whimper at his onslaught upon your senses, and your knees almost gave out when you noticed one of the staff  was walking your way. You clenched your eyes shut as if you could hide your shameless display between your lover. You expected to hear a gasp or a scream, but none.
As you peered your eyes open, that person simply walked past the two of you as if you weren’t there. Confusion painted your expression as you looked down to find Stephen eyeing you with a knowing smirk but your attention was drawn away when he dropped to his knees, pulling your dress off of you till it pooled at your feet.
The cold air chilled your skin as you stood there feeling exposed. His long slender fingers grazed over the back of your thigh, allowing his short nails to drag into your skin slightly. A soft hiss escaped from you as his lips ghosted over your inner thigh. His hot breath fanned over your skin, leaving trails of goosebumps in its wake. Your pussy was pulsating to your quickening heartbeat, dampening the small flimsy fabric that shields you away from his piercing gaze.
“You’re soaking through your panty,” his voice was no more than a soft tremor as he kissed his way up. It was barely a few inches away from your aching core. His fingers probed and pressed against the clothed slit. You sucked in your breath as he grazed his fingers back and forth, and occasionally, he would push them inside you. It took everything in you to not whimper out loud from his torturous touch.
“Stephen, please. Someone will see us,” you pleaded pathetically.
A smile curved at the corner of his mouth before he stood up so abruptly. His hands slide to the curve of your ass. “No, they won’t. We’re in the mirror dimension, sweetheart. I control everything here.”
With a wave of his hand, the scenery before you folded and unfolded, changing the landscape like a kaleidoscope. The stone rail behind you turned into a large panel of a solid wall of glass. You could see cars and buses, even people walking. Yet, they were unaware of the naughty things you and Strange, their beloved sorcerer, were about to do.
“Then—”
“No one will see us here…Unless you want them to. In that case, I can arrange that as well.”
“No! don’t do that, Stephen!” you protested, trying to push him away, but fail.
A surge of excitement coursed through you when he pushed you backward till your back pressed against the cold hard glass. “Hold on to me,” he said before he lifted you up, causing you to yelp out loud. He hoisted you up higher, his hands slid underneath your ass to hold you as your legs wrapped around his taut waist. His lips found yours once again, kissing with a fervor that made your head spin. His straining erection was distinct, pressing against your pulsating core with a euphoric promise.
Your body was practically humming and buzzing at this point. The need to have him take you was the only thing you could think of.
Your attention was pulled back at the soft rumbling. The landscape changed once again as the glass wall slowly turned and folded into what resembled a flat, horizontal surface. Leaning over, Strange laid you there against the see-through floor. The image below was no more than black, moving dots.
The moment you let go of him, Strange quickly tried to shake off his jacket, but you stopped him.
“The suit stays on,” you bit your lips. You didn’t have to say it twice because his mouth was on yours, and he was hungrier than before.
His kiss was tongue and teeth. His fingers dug into your arms, making you wince slightly. You laid there with your head slightly dizzy, clearly drunk from his onslaught upon your senses. His hand was now cupping your breast, holding and squeezing it till you let out a muffled whine.
Tearing his lips away from yours, his mouth lowered to suck on one nipple. You moaned and quivered beneath him. Your hand clenched tightly around his arm. Your head tossed back as a throaty moan ripped right out of your lips. His tongue twirled and flicked over your sensitive bud. Occasionally, he would bite down hard enough to make you hiss before he ran his tongue over it. He repeated this a couple of times until both peaks were erected and straining outward before he moved to press his lips against the space between the valley of your breast.
He released his hold on your breast as he ran his fingers down your rib cage, then lower to your stomach. Further his fingers would go until they reached the juncture of your thighs. A breathless gasp left your lips as he slipped underneath your panty and delved into your welcoming heat. His thumb pressed over your clit, and your body tightened in response.
His lips pulled back into a snarl at the way your wetness coated his fingers.
“So wet and so needy for me, sweetie. I barely do anything to you,” he teased. His was no more than a rumble that set your nerve ablaze. You whispered out his name again as his fingers entered your warm, silken entrance while his thumb continued to press and circle against that swollen small bundle of nerves.
It took all of you to pull yourself together to watch him. His mouth was on your breast, sucking and licking your nipple while his fingers worked you, stroking your deeper and closer toward your ecstasy. You cradled his head there as your fingers combed through that perfectly combed salt and pepper hair.
A low moan rumbled in his chest, sending a soft vibration through you. Your body started to tighten as the coil that sat at the pit of your stomach threatened to snap.
“Baby, I’m very close,” you pleaded in a breathless panting. Stephen growled as he slid his fingers deeper till he was knuckled deep. He was pressing against the spongy spot that made you gasp. He curled his fingers here and there when he withdrew them out of you, eliciting delicious friction that surely pushed you further into the edge. It wasn’t long until you came, straining and spasming beneath him.
Stephen slowly withdrew his hand and watched you with a smirk on his face. He knew he shouldn’t give you the pleasure of cumming, but he couldn’t help the feeling of satisfaction of being the only person that can make you cum without sticking his cock in you. It was an arrogant thought, but he knew he had ruined you for anyone else at this point by the way he spoiled you.
“You’re a brat, Y/N,” he commented as he sucked on the fingers that were fucking you a few seconds ago. “You’re a spoiled, bratty, little cock slut, you know that?”
You whined as you cracked your eyes open. “I shouldn’t even let you cum. I should have just left you here high and dry, but because I'm feeling generous today, I let you cum. And what do I get in return? Humiliation. Do you think I deserved that humiliation?”
You shook your head frantically.
Strange hand suddenly flew to your cheek with a soft smack. You hissed but the suddenness of it. It didn’t hurt. It was more of a surprise that slowly melted into something more primal.
“I’m going to ask you again, do I deserve that humiliation?”
“No, doctor,” you whispered, biting your lower lips. You could feel your slick leaking out and rolled down till he gathered beneath you.
“And what do I deserve?” His pupils were practically blown wide as he stared at you.
“Me.”
Slap. “Wrong answer, sweetheart. What do I deserve–what do I get from you?”
“My tight little pussy,” you said bashfully. You could feel your face getting hotter at that admission. You weren’t good at dirty talking, but somehow with Strange, it was different. Somehow his authoritative demeanor just made you feel the need to please him any way he wanted.
“Good girl,” he praised and you could feel your heart flutter and soared. He pressed his forward head against yours while he took your hand in his. You sucked in your breath when he pressed your palm against his straining erection.
His eyes clenched tightly, mouth hung agape as he was rubbing himself against your palm. His breath shuddered here and there when you squeezed him slightly. His eyes flew open when you began to unfasten his pants and slide them down his hips. He was hard and heavy, ready to fuck all the attitude right out of you.
Grasping his shaft with your shaky hand, you gave him a few tugs first before lining himself at your entrance. Your pussy was practically quaking at the anticipation of being filled by him. You let out a unison moan when you pushed the head of his cock inside your swollen pussy. Strange stopped himself for a brief second, muscles strained slightly at the welcoming heat before he surged forward until he was fully sheathed inside you.
Your gasp mingled with his. You almost went over the edge by the way he stretched you out so deliciously, tormenting you with that desirous friction. He was overwhelming you in the best way possible, and you couldn’t wait for him to rail you to another dimension and back.
His fingers dug into your hips as he began to move. Your eyes widened at the ferocity and the urgency in his pace. His eyes narrowed as a low growl rumbled in his chest. His hands went flat against the space beside her face before he leaned down, pushing himself deeper inside you.
He withdrew himself all the way back and thrust forward, jolting your body slightly with each re-entry. His gaze burned into yours as your body was preparing for another rapture. Stephen leaned back before he reached down and grasped your legs and draped them over his shoulders. He was so much deeper now that every time he thrust forward, he pushed all the air right out of your lungs.
And just when you thought this was it, Strange slid his hands down underneath your ass and he began to really push into you, hard and forceful, sending waves upon waves of onslaught pleasure soaring through your body.
“Yes, yes, yes. Use me, doctor,” you mumbled in between your breathless panting. You came with a quick shout as he continued to pound into you again and again. Your eyes clenched tightly as your body rode out the orgasmic wave.
His nostrils flared, teeth bared as you squeezed him. Strange’s movement became erratic as he continued to withdraw and surge forward while his hands tightened against your hips. He was so impossibly deep, so far inside you that all you could feel is his pulsating cock driving in and out of your quivering heat.
Then he grunted as his body went rigid above you. Every muscle in his body flexed and tightened. His fingers dug into your flesh as he was practically flushed where your body joined.
“Mine,” he grunted almost animalistic as he came into you. Strange continued to thrust, spurting his cum deep inside you. His release seemed endless. You could feel him seeping out of you with every movement.
Then he was out of you.
You winched at the way he was spilling out of you. He was panting as he rolled onto his back. Perspiration painted his forehead. His salt and pepper hair stuck out in various directions.
“I lied,” you mumbled with your forearm over your eyes. “Jealousy does look good on you, doctor.”
Stephen only replied with a groan before he gave your nipple a gentle tug. “Try me again, and I'll have you strung above a building.”
You shivered at that, but you let out a soft chuckle anyway. You knew it wasn’t a threat. You knew what’s capable and willing to do to make his point known, and you fucking love it.

The door opened with a clicking sound, filling the silence of the empty apartment as you walked in, phone to your ear as you shut the door with the use of your feet.
“....(Y/N), the wedding’s tomorrow, I was wondering if you’d make it- or you’d like to come, it would be nice seeing you again ever since..” Christine spoke through your phone.
You took off your shoes, placing them by the door as you placed your things on the counter.
“Oh, Christine, I’d love to come by, congratulations again, I can’t believe it.” You reply, walking over to the living room. You sat on the soft sofa, getting into a much more comfortable position.
It never felt like time had passed, you even wonder if the rest of the world even remembered some of you.
You stared at the window in front of you that showcased the buildings along with the night sky.
Five minutes. All it took was five minutes and after you were thrown back onto reality again, five years had passed. It took almost a toll on everybody, with all the family and friends they feared are long gone, suddenly popping out of nowhere from when they were stood as the blip happened.
You, luckily enough, were able to lay low for a while, build your life back up again, reconnected with some friends, yet you never thought of reconnecting with the other Avengers.
The dull ache was still there in your heart at the events that occurred. Every once in a while giving you a reminder when you’d wake up in cold sweat.
You blinked as you didn’t register what Christine had said seconds before, “Wait, come again?” You say.
“I said Stephen’s going to be there too. I.. I don’t know if its a right decision to invite him since... well, he agreed, that’s what matters right? And I think he could use a familiar face like yours.”
Stephen. Stephen Strange.
You’ve seen him, you’ve fought alongside him, yet you never once remembered talking to him. He was going to be there.
You knew of their relationship before, but after the blip it seemed like things have gotten worse for him, or so you thought.
“Oh? Stephen? If he accepted then I think it’s not that bad.” You comforted her.
Your mind instantly wandering to the thought of Stephen. Why were you getting anxious? You’re an Avenger just as he is.
“I think so, but hey, I gotta get going, there’s still too many to fix for tomorrow.” Christine said.
“A bride needs her rest, doesn’t she? I can’t wait to see you tomorrow, congrats again Christine.” You responded before bidding each other goodbye and hanging up.
You stared at your phone for a minute, your reflection from the screen staring right at you.
Tomorrow. Wedding. Stephen.
You sigh with closed eyes. How bad could it be?
You stood up and immediately went to your room, you felt like you needed rest much earlier than before.
Waking up, you realized it was already morning. You were afraid you were already late when you glanced at the time.
9:00 AM
You sigh in relief, the wedding wasn’t until an hour, so you had the right amount of time to prepare.
Standing up and opening your closet, you settled on picking out a cowl neck slit maxi dress, along with a heel ankle strapped sandals to go along with it.
You yawned, covering your mouth. You blinked a few times, staring at the outfit you had planned. It looks good.
Then it was time to take a shower.
After that, you wrapped yourself up with the towel, going over to the mirror to dry your hair.
You glanced at the time, a solid 20 minutes before the wedding starts, and it was just the right time to go from here to the church.
You got dressed, straightening out the dress that hugged your figure perfectly. Having no time to struggle with the sandals, with a flick of your wrist as your feet wore it, the straps moved themselves to lock it in place.
You look in the mirror again, mustering a smile you were ready to give later. “The hair...” You mutter.
You shrug, making another movement with your hands to make the desired hairstyle happen. “That’s more like it.”
You went over to your drawer to grab a purse that matched, as well as a gold bracelet to complete your look.
You found yourself staring one last time in the mirror before nodding to yourself. “All right, let’s do this.”
The car ride from the church was tense, because it was the first time you’d be around many people publicly, at a wedding. You didn’t mind, sure, but some of the people were found to be hating, complaining that their lives had been ruined because of you.
“We’re here, miss.” The driver said. You thanked him, paying the amount before getting off the car. There were people already piling up with smiles on their faces.
You tried to make yourself look subtle, walking forward to find yourself a seat. You felt a few gazes on your way as the chatter grew.
By being too busy making yourself look subtle, you were unaware of the figure also standing to look for somebody as you bumped onto them, making you stumble back a bit until they had grab a hold of your wrist. You were looking down at their hand when you realize it was someone in a rather fancy suit.
“I’m sorry I should’ve...” You began, your eyes making the mistake of travelling upwards to meet the man’s eyes.
Cold hard blue-grey ones pierced into yours, making your words suddenly halt. You realized who this was, and how unfortunate you were to bump into him this early.
With his black hair accompanied by grey streaks on the sides, styled perfectly, his suit made him even more appealing. You realized your thoughts, mentally smacking yourself.
“Y- I’m sor-“
“Didn’t expect to see you here.” He spoke, his voice thick as he looked at you, letting go of your wrist to let you stand upright. “Christine didn’t tell you?”
He shook his head, his other hand delicately holding the wedding invitation that he got. His heart almost felt destitute of what he was about to witness, he knew Christine was happy, who was he to destroy her life? He knew it in his mind that she deserved better, and attending this wedding may as well be the closure he needed.
But things took a turn as he unexpectedly bumped into you. Stephen could note that he saw you before. Fighting alongside him. And even coming close to saving his ass a few times that he noticed.
“No, no she didn’t.” Stephen spoke. Seeing you in this way rather than messed from a fight had a slight change in thought in his mind that he ignored, still looking at you.
You both ended up looking at each other for a few good seconds before he clears his throat, moving back and gesturing to the seat. He doesn’t usually do that but he finds himself speaking. “Here, take a seat. I think it’ll start soon anyway.”
“Oh, thank you... Stephen.” You say, saying his name felt weird, thinking you should’ve just left it at thanks.
For Stephen, however, his name roll off on your tongue for the first time loud and clear had the tips of his ears tinging pink. “Yeah, no worries. “
Why was he acting this way? Acting like he was having a love at first sight moment. But you looked different from the battlefield to just... normally. He hasn’t known a lot about you, but he knows you could fight good and he respects that.
Watching you sit, he takes the one beside you, fidgeting with the invitation as the chatter resumed behind you.
As you sat, Stephen did the same beside you, both your knees brushing for a brief moment, sending warmth to your cheeks. What on earth, you couldn’t possibly be feeling like this right now? Could you..? For heaven’s sake you weren’t even sure if you could call yourselves friends yet after saving the whole world.
Stephen decided to flush out the things he felt at the moment, deciding to talk with you before the wedding started as people started taking their seats.
You didn’t know why, but as the longer the both of you talked and teased made you instantly comfortable around him.
Even as the ceremony progressed, you and Stephen were silently chuckling and smiling at each other. You even somehow forget what you were nervous about when meeting him.
Though as some might say he was intimidating and a jerk, yes, he was intimidating, but the second one? You thought not so much of, he seemed nice, genuine.
After the ceremony however, came the reception.
Everyone started standing up, getting ready to head for the reception when you realized you haven’t got a ride. But then it seemed like your prayers were answered in a mere second.
“I’ve got my car back there, seeming as you’re not leaving yet, you want to go to the reception together?” Stephen asks, standing up.
You knew better than to pass it up, so you agreed.
Arriving at the place, some looks were given your way as you arrived with Stephen. Some were smiling and pointing, some were even shocked. And some of course wanted some pictures.
The two of you, knowing better, agreed to their requests.
“So are you two together?” One guest asked, an elderly man with glasses. Your eyes widened as Stephen cleared his throat.
“Oh, oh, no. We’re not..” You shyly say. Stephen slowly shakes his head.
“Aw that’s a shame, you two look great together, and now will you excuse me I’m going to grab myself more of the food here. Its great.” The man said, walking past the both of you.
You and Stephen stared at the man, before staring at each other, then bursting out of laughter.
As the ceremony at the reception progressed, you can’t help but feel emotional as both Christine and her husband took their first dance. You could genuinely see how happy Christine looked and you couldn’t be happier for her. You almost swore you were about to cry when they were looking at each other so dearly.
Grabbing a glass of champagne at the small bar, you took a sip before sighing.
Stephen, however, was busy talking with Christine as she approached him.
“Congratulations.” Stephen says, looking at her for a few seconds before averting his gaze away. “Thank you, Stephen.”
“I could tell you’re really happy.”
Christine sighs, nodding and smiling. “I am.” She tilted her head to ask him. “But are you? Are you happy?”
Stephen felt the sudden weight on his shoulders. Was he happy?
The thing is, he doesn’t know.
Stephen nods, preparing yet another lie. “Yeah, I am. Why wouldn’t I be?”
Christine seemed to take it well, but deep down she knows Stephen deserved someone that truly loved him the way she did. And she could see one person who’s just that. You.
“I’m glad you’re happy, Stephen. Whatever that’s going on with you right now, that’ll be over soon. I do hope you find someone, I truly do.” Christine says, but she could see you on the bar, having a drink.
“You’ll never know maybe that someone’s just around the corner.” Christine said.
Stephen wanted to shut his ears, to not listen, but who would that work out for? He’d only make things worse for himself. So he listened, taking her words in. He attended this wedding to find the closure he wanted and that’s what he did get, along with Christine being finally happy.
Stephen looks down, biting the inside of his cheek. “Yes, thank you, Christine.”
Christine laid a hand on his forearm in comfort.
“Christine! Congratulations!” Came your voice from behind them. Stephen perks his head up, turning around as Christine approached you, he saw the champagne in your hand and the bar behind, making a mental note to grab himself a drink as we walked, bidding the two of you to talk.
“Thank you, (Y/N). I’m really glad you can make it, along with Stephen.” She says.
You shake your head. “Of course, you’re almost like a sister to me. I’m really happy to see you up there.”
“Thank you, and speaking of happy, I noticed you and Stephen...” Christine trailed off, a mischievous smile gracing her lips. Your cheeks warmed as you laugh, trying to deny it. “No, no, not gonna happen, Christine.”
She shakes her head. “I saw you two earlier, you looked cute, and besides, you two would make a great pair one day.”
“That’s going to take a long time.” You joked. “Hey, if it means the two of you ending up together then why not? It seems to me you’re the only one person Stephen loved to talk to today, he’s interested in you. Trust me, I know him.”
Your cheeks were still warm as you were flustered. “Just see where it goes, who knows, you’re the one that I trust the most, if Stephen ends up with you then I couldn’t be happier.”
You wanted to believe it, but Stephen still looked broken-hearted. Maybe some other day. You just needed time. “Okay, whatever you say, Christine, congratulations again.” You say. She nods, before going over to the other guests that were calling out to her.
You took a deep breath in. Empty champagne glass in your hand.
Turning around and walking to the bar, you spot Stephen drinking a few glasses of Martini, already finishing one before grabbing another.
“Slow down there, or else I’m going to have to drive you home.” You said, standing beside him as he has his elbow propped onto the bar. “Be my guest.” He replies. You laugh, but then you place your glass down, looking at him take another sip.
“Hey, you okay?” You ask.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” He replied.
You shrugged, there was the Strange you knew.
“I don’t know, you don’t look fine to me.”
Stephen shakes his head, he was about to grab another drink when he placed it down. “I’m sorry, there’s just a lot going on my mind.”
“Yeah, I understand, it’s getting a little overwhelming, really.” You say.
Stephen looks at you, before standing upright and grabbing another glass, handing it to you and grabbing another for himself. “Then let’s forget about it for a while.”
You grabbed the drink, swirling it for a moment before looking at him.
The both of you found yourselves talking again, telling all sorts of stories. And by now the both of you were laughing again.
“And he stood there for the whole hour trying to make a portal but then he just kept on making sparks.”
You laugh. “You gotta admit, he’s dedicated.”
Stephen nods. “He reminds me of myself back then.”
“You’ve come a long way Stephen.” You say, smiling genuinely.
“Suppose I have, enough about that. Now, tell me about yourself.” Stephen asked you.
As Christine’s eyes watched the pair of you as you talked and talked, he saw the familiar glint in Stephen’s eye, the look that he used to give when he was admiring something, or rather when he felt happy. A look that he used to give her. And as for you, she could tell Stephen had made his way to your heart.
Christine smiled. She was happy for him, she was happy for you. She could tell this was heading for somewhere better, and with her fingers crossed, she hoped it was true.

I Can Help With That | Dr Strange x Y/N
“That is definitely a new strategy to pick up guys.”
“I’m sorry?”
“Never seen someone studying Fitzgerald’s neuroanatomy in a bar unless you have developed some new strategy to pick up brainy guys with that.”

“I’m buying this place,” Tony announced as he drained another glass of whisky.
“You can’t,” Natasha hissed from his side. “You’ll only piss off Pepper more.”
Tony groaned and looked at Stephen, “Does this mean I can’t party at the tower nor buy myself a bar?”
Stephen smiled and nodded, sipping his martini.
“Can’t you do something to change her mind?”
“My god, Tony,” he exclaimed indignantly, “I can’t believe you want to use me for such petty purposes.”
“You are no fun doctor,” he mumbled and ordered another drink then glanced at the crowd. “How about I find someone to get you laid, and you help a little in return?”
Stephen shook his head. “I can get laid without your help. Besides I agree with Pepper, you indeed need to party less.”
“Oo look at them,” Tony discreetly pointed to a group sitting a little away from them, “those two are totally eye-fucking you.”
Stephen sighed and turned a bit to give them a quick glance. Not my type, he thought and finished his martini.
“Anyone thinking of hitting the dance floor? Thor asked, sliding off his stool, to no one in particular.
“I’m,” Tony and Natasha answered in unison, following suit.
“You are acting all grumpy today,” Tony complained before leaving, “just get laid, get things off your head and you’ll be fine as fuck. Oh look, one of them just left for the washroom.”
Tony wasn’t wrong. The recent attacks had left him spent. But he still wasn’t interested in sleeping with someone, not yet. After two shots of tequila, he handed over his card, waited a moment and walked towards the smaller section of the bar, the one with less loud music and small round tables.
That was when he noticed her. Technically, he noticed the book first.
“That is definitely a new strategy to pick up guys.”
She looked up from her reading. The perfect doe eyes. A beautiful dark shade of chocolate, swirling to blend into caramel at the iris. He suddenly forgot what he was supposed to do here.
“I’m sorry?”
It took him a second to say, “Never seen someone studying Fitzgerald’s neuroanatomy in a bar unless you have developed some new strategy to pick up brainy guys with that.”
“Not interested,” she frowned and continued reading from her book.
Had she outright rejected him? That too him?
Breathe, Y/N. breathe. She reminded herself as she tried to focus on the pathway of the spinothalamic tract. He might be all sexy with that voice and looks but that’s not going to help you pass the exam.
She sensed the chair beside her move, and soon he was staring at her like the tempting Lucifer.
“So you aren’t trying to pick up anyone?”
“No,” she replied, not daring to look at him. “I have lost my keys to my apartment. And my roommate is supposed to be here. So, here I’m waiting.”
“Why not enjoy yourself while you wait?”
She marked the page and put the book down, finally looking at him- she forgot what she was supposed to say. He was totally gorgeous and, as he had said, seemed ‘brainy’ with those white streaks. He raised one perfect thick eyebrow at her. What had he said? Something along the lines of enjoying,  she guessed.
“I have got exams in a few weeks. So trying to make up for the knowledge I haven’t gained.”
Having got her attention he smiled at her. And she loved the way his orbicularis oculi produced those radiating lines at the lateral angle of his eyes, “And in what subjects are you lagging?”
Y/N reprimanded herself. She was going crazy. Nevertheless, she answered him, “Biochemistry and neurology.”
He nodded and glanced at her book. “I can help with that.”
“Excuse me?”
“I can help you with neurology,” he said, then added, “Only if you would like that.”
“Why? Are you the ‘brainy’ professor?”
“Not exactly, unless you consider a former neurosurgeon ‘brainy’ enough.”
Her jaw dropped. “I, uh,” she struggled to string her thoughts together. Great. He was not only gorgeous and sexy but also super intelligent. And she had fucked up well.
“I’m sorry. You’re absolutely ‘brainy’.”
He grinned. She felt her heart doing an erratic happy dance, “I would be more than grateful for your help, but I’m sure you are not here to pick up a student to tutor.”
“I wasn’t, sweetheart. What’s your name?”
Sweetheart? If she was going crazy then, now she would be certifiably insane. “Y/N L/N. And you might be - doctor?”
“Stephen Strange,” he replied and watched her eyes going as wide as they could.
“The Doctor strange?”
“Yes,” he laughed, “I’m the Dr Strange. So, would you like some help?”
She nodded.
“My place is nearby,” he tilted his head, “And this is hardly any place to study. Shall we?”
“Sure,” she murmured and stuffed the notes and book into her backpack.
“Do you fancy a walk? A cab? Or just a portal?”
“We can walk.” He nodded and held out a hand to her, which she took.
The walk was brisk and quiet as they hurried, heads down against the wind of the late night. She looked around the neighbourhood, realising she had passed them quite a handful of times while taking the late-night walks.
“My apartment is another few blocks away,” she said, after they settled on a couch beside the staircase, in front of a fireplace.
She watched him snap his fingers, and embers erupted in the fireplace. Showy, she thought as he settled next to her.
“Well, that sounds great, doesn’t it? You can visit me anytime you need my help.”
“There would be a next time?”
“Don’t you think there will be?” He asked, slightly disappointed. “Is this a one-night stand?” Common. Don’t be so desperate. Get a grip!
“I don’t know,” she shrugged her shoulders, “In time you’ll realise I’m not your type,” she gave out a nervous chuckle.
Cute. “And what do you think is my type?”
“Bold, sexy, graceful and… experienced?”
“I like cute, shy and naive as well.”
She was pretty sure her cheeks were red, and in no time her body was spontaneously going to combust into flames.
He reached out a hand and pushed her curly brown hair behind her ears. His hand skimmed across her neck, pausing at her pulse point, which had been going crazy ever since she met him. “Why don’t we get started? Weren’t you doing the tracts?”
Back to earth, Y/N.
He grinned, and his hand dropped. Her skin burned everywhere he had touched.
“Yeah,” she was immensely proud to conjure a reply.
By the end of the third hour, she was considerably tired.
He was explaining various cases of misdiagnosis of Parkinson’s he had seen when felt she couldn’t take any new information anymore. But she waited with forced patience for him to finish.
“Stephen, I don’t think I can study anymore.”
“I know,” he said, taking the book from her hand, and placing it on the coffee table. His coat jacket was long gone, and every flex of muscle under the fabric of his white shirt tossed her in a puddle of embarrassment and arousal.  “Tea? Coffee or hot chocolate?”
Definitely coffee. She needed the caffeine to walk back- Her thoughts were lost as he rolled up his sleeves. Oh, those veins… those long, long fingers. She could feel her hormones having quite clearly their night out.
After he conjured them two cups of coffee, he heard a sharp intake of breath followed by an ‘Oh my God’.
“You know, you can stay the night here.”
Y/N gripped her cup tighter. What an attractive way to embarrass oneself in every possible way in a few hours! The sorcerer and mind-reader fact had completely slipped out of her mind.
“Just like a one-night stand?”
Stephen hummed. “Minus the sex part, if you wish.”
When she didn’t speak anything for a long minute, he spoke, “I wasn’t reading your mind the entire night, if that’s what you are upset about.”
“Very gentlemanly of you,” she said, sagging in relief.
Then he turned down the lights. It was dark with just the light from the fireplace. They talked about trivial matters, getting acquainted a little, her minor routine and his sorcerer duties.
“You’re a great teacher, you know?” she said, fishing her things into the bag.
“Really?” He grinned and she felt it shoot right into her stomach. Get a grip, she reminded herself.
“Yeah. you explained things in a better and easier way. I don’t think I would have been able to cover half of the topics-”
“Y/N,” he interrupted her, “I wasn’t looking for you to shower me with compliments. It’s just that I never thought of myself as much of a teacher in any field of work. I can teach myself but others - I'm not any good at that.”
“You underestimate yourself.”.
“Everyone who knows me a little would beg to differ.”
Sitting still for a minute, she watched him sip from his cup, she didn’t know what to say to that. “I should get going,” she said, finally getting up.
He frowned. Looked at his watch. And she noticed a flicker of disappointment in his features.
“It’s too late. But if you insist, I’ll walk you home.”
Y/N didn’t like the juxtaposition of reason and passion in her situation. She swallowed her nerves. “I guess I’ll stay then.”
He smiled, took her hand, and pressed his lips against the inside of her wrist. Her whole body shuddered. He pulled her back to the couch, then closer, until she was pressed against him.  She felt all her organs dropping right on top of her uterus like all their supports were lost.
She looked at his lips. Tread lightly, he reminded his desires. “It could always be a one-night stand minus the sex,” he assured her.
She chuckled and rested her head on his shoulder, “I don’t mind the sex part.”
His eyelids fluttered when her hand came up close to his face. Hot fingers pressed into his burning skin as traced his jaw before settling on his chest. Oh god, he had forgotten what a touch could do.
“Besides, I ought to make it up to you to ruin your evening.”
Stephen’s eyes had darkened as he stared at her. Her breath hitched. Have I done something wrong?
“You didn’t ruin my evening. I was looking for a distraction.”
“I was certainly not the sort of distraction you were looking for.”
“You were definitely the distraction I didn’t know I needed. Talking about things that my life used to revolve around wasn’t morbid. It was refreshing. You don’t have to do this because you-”
He was cut short as she closed her mouth over his.
Stephen held her close with his free hand when she pulled away from the kiss. He carefully placed his cup down. Then kissed her again, slowly, deeply and tantalisingly. At that moment she felt the geometric sum of all her nerve endings going crazy.
He pulled away, ducked his head, and placed a hot kiss on her neck.
“Let’s go upstairs,” he stood and offered her his hand like before.
Y/N examined the bookshelves flanking the bed as Stephen peppered kisses on her neck. There were a few volumes of classical literature, few books of modern literature, some medical books and the rest -  the bulk -  of them, she guessed, were of sorcery.
His hands slipped under the sides of her shirt. Her back arched in response, however, he pulled her back to him, until they were plastered. She could feel every ripple of muscle even through the fabrics.
You are awesome, she reminded herself.  Not insecure. A bit shy and inexperienced maybe. He had said he liked that. So no big deal.
But when his hands slid forward and downwards, she was super conscious of the little pudge that sat above her jeans. The dimpled flesh on her thighs. Work out regularly right from tomorrow.
Dying… Dying to taste every inch of her skin. He never thought he would get this desperate. He had wanted to take off their clothes slowly, dramatically, however, he snapped his fingers getting rid of them at once.
Y/N grasped at the sudden assault of cold air.
“I’m sorry,” Stephen said, whirling her around, “I’m a little too eager.” His hand reached up and weaved through her subtle curls as his lips moved hers.
Feeling the hard length of him poking her stomach, she moaned, giving him the perfect opportunity to slide his tongue and deepen the kiss.
She pulled away for a breath and he trained soft, wet kisses across her jaw, neck and chest before gently nibbling at her nipple. Her fingers tugged at his hair, a contented sigh escaping her lips.
Then they heard a noise. Three steady knocks on the bedroom door. “Strange,” the man bellowed. Another two knocks.
“What is it, Wong?” Stephen groaned. “Don’t come in.”
“Get in the bed,” he instructed her as he conjured a pair of sweatpants.
“I have been trying to reach you for the last twenty minutes. Why aren’t you answering the phone?”
“Because I haven’t heard it ring.”
She watched in frustration as he slid out of the room, closing the door behind him. Their voices grew dull.
Y/N waited. Ten minutes. Thirty. Then another hour. She glanced at the clock on the nightstand and sighed. It’s three in the morning. Maybe he’s not coming back.
Getting out of bed, she looked around for her clothes. She peeped into the foyer. Dead silence. Great! She was in a perfect stranger’s house all alone without clothes.

Hades and Persephone
Wanda Maximoff x Reader
Tumblr media
Masterlist - Join My Taglist!
Written as an early bonus round of my Year of Olympians, inspired by @dawn-petrichor-world who wanted to see one for Hades! This is a pretty loose interpretation of my own Hades prompt tbh, but the vibes were there and I stand by it.
Fandom: Marvel
Prompt: Hades; the underworld (sort of), the Hades and Persephone myth (also sort of)
Summary: Y/N grew up with Pietro and Wanda, and has been in love with Wanda for most of their life. They never said anything, however, especially not after losing Pietro and watching Wanda fall for someone else. Now, however, five years after the Snap (and five years after the reader retreated from the world), Wong shows up to get Y/N's help because Wanda's about to move on the Sanctum as The Scarlet Witch, and Y/N might be the only one who can stop her.

I took a deep breath, the fresh air and the smell of all my flowers relaxing me like it always did. The sun shone down on me and all my lovely plants, and the soft sound of the ocean crashing on the beach just a few feet from me helped add to the air of serenity.
An air that was currently being blown apart by a certain sorcerer I hadn't seen in a few years.
"What are you doing here, Strange?" I asked, keeping my eyes closed and not turning from my spot, legs crossed as I sat peacefully amongst my plants. I was still pretty sure this was an illusion, and no matter how annoying I found the sorcerer, I didn't want the dream shattered before it had to be. "I've gotten pretty good at chasing off ghosts like you, so consider your next action carefully."
"What makes you think I'm not real?" came the familiar voice of my former friend. I scoffed, a sharp pang shooting through my chest. I knew better than to answer. Borderline-corporeal memories like him had haunted me for at least a year after the Snap, despite how hard I worked to get past them. Even once I'd mostly gotten rid of them, they still showed up every so often.
They were pretty objectively bad for me, which is why I'd worked so hard to stop imagining them as often as I did. Still, they were some of the last remnants of all the friends I'd lost in the Snap, so sometimes, I found it hard to want to make them leave.
"I know for a fact that you're dead and gone, Strange," I said, sighing heavily. I shouldn't be responding, but this was one of those times I couldn't stop myself. "Along with some other people I can't seem to stop missing."
"Like Wanda Maximoff?"
My eyes snapped open, the sharp pang in my chest turning into a massive, painful knife. I'd grown up with Wanda Maximoff, and her brother Pietro. Pietro had been my best friend, and Wanda had been the love of my life. We'd gone through hell together in the hands of Hydra, which is where I'd gotten my significant nature powers. We'd joined the Avengers, and under the urgings of Pietro, I'd been working up the courage to confess my feelings for his sister. And then Pietro had died.
Wanda and I both had our worlds rocked by the loss, and instead of coming together over it, we grew further apart. She found love with the Vision, a new superhero the Avengers had picked up around the same time they'd picked us up, and even though I wanted to be happy for her, I couldn't help feeling like I'd lost her too.
And then, I really did lose her. After Wanda disappeared in the Snap, along with most of the other people I'd gotten close to, I almost broke. I needed to get somewhere that I could heal, and to do that, I needed to leave the superhero world behind me. So, I did.
With Wong's help (since Strange was gone), I faked my death and disappeared. Maybe a little dramatic, but at that point, I was in survival mode. Ever since, I'd been here, on a remote island with a small community who knew nothing about me as a global superhero, and nothing about what I'd lost. By some miracle, it seemed to be the only village on Earth unaffected by the snap, which is why Wong recommended it to me when he agreed to help with my plan. For the past five years, I'd been healing and living peacefully in my new community, adjusting to my new world and finding things to help ground me.
The number one thing that threatened that sense of grounding continued to be memories of Wanda, my lost soulmate. And if this Strange hallucination was trying to bring her up, I knew I really needed to block him out and shut him down before he could ruin all the progress I'd made.
I didn't respond to Strange's question about Wanda. I kept my eyes shut and breathed deeply, focusing on blocking out the presence behind me.
"Y/N?"
I took another breath in, focusing on the beautiful smell of all my flowers around me and feeling my connection to them.
"Y/N. Wanda needs your help."
I breathed out through my nose, a little more harshly than I necessarily wanted to. "You are not real. And I am not letting you rule my life."
I heard not-Strange sigh from behind me, and then a second later, I was falling.
My eyes flew open but all I could see around me was darkness. Then, a circular light opened below me, and before I could brace myself I landed hard on the deck I'd been sitting on moments before, at the feet of Doctor Stephen Strange.
None of my hallucinations had ever been able to do that.
"I don't have time to beat around the bush on this one, Y/N. Wong told me where I could find you. I need your help." Slowly, I tilted my head back to look up at Strange. The real Strange. He didn't look even a little bit guilty about the bruises he'd definitely given me, which was the final clue that told me he was completely real, and not an idealized version I'd made up in my mind. "Wanda needs your help."
With those few words, I was on my feet in an instant. If Strange was back... then somehow, that probably meant...
"You better explain yourself right the hell now, Strange," I said, trying to stay calm despite all the emotions rushing through me as I looked at my friend. My plants grew and moved around me, an expression of the explosion I was trying to keep on lockdown.
"Stark and crew managed to reverse the snap," he said. "We all came back about a year ago, but everyone thought you were dead, so no one came to tell you."
The world shifted under my feet. I swayed, a few of my plants growing to my aid and helping to keep me standing. It only got worse as Strange continued, filling me in on the events of the last year.
As I already knew, Vision was truly dead, not Snap-dead, which meant he hadn't come back with everyone else. Wanda had apparently lost it since she'd come back, taking an entire town hostage in her effort to deal with her grief. And now, in an effort to get to her children who she'd conjured in a magical new reality that apparently actually existed in every universe except ours, she was going after a teen named America who had the power to travel between timelines.
"As you already know, she's one of the most powerful people in the world," finished Strange. "And right now, she's getting more than a little scary in her determination to use any means necessary to get what she wants."
"And you're sure she's going to... hurt this America kid? To kill her?" I asked, hearing the shake in my own voice. My world had been shattered in the past few minutes, but if what Strange said was true (and he had no reason to lie to me), we didn't have a moment to waste while I tried to deal with it.
"I'm sure," he said. "She can't be allowed to go into another universe. Extended crossover between them has, apparently, catastrophic effects. So America can't give her what she wants. In order for Wanda to take it, she has to kill America. And she's made it clear that's exactly what she's planning to do."
I closed my eyes and took a long, deep breath in before slowly blowing it out. I couldn't believe Wanda would really do something like that, but at the same time, I knew how close I came to almost breaking when I lost her, after losing Pietro and feeling so, so alone. She'd lost everyone.
"Alright, let's do this," I said, opening my eyes and looking at Strange again. "Use your magic and take me to her."
"I'm bringing you to Kamar-Taj," he said as he began the process of opening a sling portal. "We're fortifying the Sanctum against Wanda to protect America. You're our first option, I'm our second, and the defenders of Kamar-Taj are our third."
I frowned. "I hope you know I'm not going to help you fight Wanda, Strange."
"If everything goes according to plan, it won't come to that."
Before I could ask anything else, he stepped through the portal and straight into the heart of Kamar-Taj. I followed him, sparing one glance over my shoulder for the lovely little place I'd called home for the past five years.
Hopefully, it wouldn't be too long before I was back, ideally with Wanda in-tow.
***************
After a hello and hug with Wong and a quick introduction to America, there was nothing left for me to do but wait. Strange and everyone else kept building up their fortifications, all while I stood on one of the balconies and watched for Wanda to appear.
I started to think she wouldn't come. That Strange had blown things horribly out of proportion, and that Wanda wasn't anywhere near the scary, dangerous place he'd said she was in. And then, just when I was going to march into the courtyard and tell Strange he'd overreacted (and that I was going to find Wanda myself), a storm encircled Kamar-Taj.
"Y/L/N!" hollered Strange from the courtyard. "Get down here!"
"On my way!"
Despite my words, I stayed at the balcony for a second longer, watching as Wanda rose out of the clouds and smoke crackling around her. I'd never seen her use her powers like this, although I wasn't surprised she had the ability. She'd always been the strongest of us, and it was a little aweing to see.
Once I snapped out of my initial shock, I took off like a shot for the courtyard. I passed groups of sorcerers waiting to fight back if the worst should happen, then made it outside to where Strange waited in the middle of the courtyard, surrounded by other defenses.
"Alright, I'll magnify your voice," he said as I came to a stop beside him. "You just talk."
"What? Strange, what do you want me to say?"
"I don't care. Just whatever you think will be enough-"
Before he could finish his instructions, Wanda's voice came booming over the sanctum instead. Her eyes scanned the defenders and eventually landed on Wong on the balcony, without seeing me or Strange.
"Surrender America Chavez to me now, and I'll leave without harming any of you," she said. My heart sped up a bit at the realization that Strange was right; she was here for a fight, and clearly willing to go through Strange and all our other friends to get what we wanted. "You have two minutes, and then the Scarlet Witch will do what must be done."
"Wanda..." I breathed, staring up at the love of my life. Apparently Strange had cast his magnification spell without me noticing, because as soon as the breathy word left my mouth, her head snapped around to look at me.
We made eye contact, and the world stopped spinning. My heart hammered in my chest as the rest of the people around us, all the sorcerers readying for a fight, completely disappeared. All that mattered was the woman before me, staring at me like she couldn't quite believe I was real.
Which, I suppose, was fair, since I had faked my death.
After a few seconds, slowly, Wanda started floating towards the ground. She looked shocked and maybe even a little devastated, and as she got closer and closer to the ground (and to my reach), I started coming back to reality.
"Open the gates," I said, talking to Strange without taking my eyes off of Wanda. My voice didn't boom across the courtyard, so I assumed he must have dropped the magnification spell.
"Y/N, I can't do that-"
"I said, OPEN the GATES," I said, whirling to face him at last. He just stared back at me, clearly unmoved.
"We fortified this whole place to keep her out, I'm not just going to-"
I didn't let him finish his sentence before I took off for the gates in a dead sprint. Wanda had just dipped out of sight in her slow float towards the ground. None of the guards moved to stop me, probably because they didn't think I'd be able to get out without a little Mystic Arts magic of my own.
They had no idea who they were dealing with.
As I approached the gate, I lifted my arms like I'd done so many times before leaving the Avengers, dragging up any and all plants around the gate as I did. They grew and grew and grew, and then, with a forceful flick of my wrist, they slammed into the gate, half-knocking it off its hinges. I pulled my arms back hard, towards my body and then past and behind me even as I kept running, and the plants responded, finishing the task of ripping off the door completely.
I heard scattered gasps and cries of outrage, but I ignored them all as I kept running. Within a few more seconds, I made it outside the sanctum of Kamar-Taj, just as Wanda touched down a few feet ahead of me.
I stopped running, opting for a calmer, more cautious approach now. I could hear the sorcerers working to put the gates back behind me, but I blocked them all out. Wanda stood before me, staring at me like she wasn't quite sure what to do with herself. I gave her a small smile and started cautiously walking towards her.
Flowers broke through the ground beneath my feet, giving me a soft, beautiful path to Wanda. A few of the flowers grew up around her ankles, softly grounding her to the world and to me (at least, I hoped it would).
I came to a stop a few inches in front of Wanda, and despite the incredible, powerful rage she'd been in when I'd first seen her, she now looked completely deflated. She started at me, apparently too stunned to speak as I slowly reached out and took her hands in mine, then at last met her green eyes.
"Wanda," I breathed, a slow smile creeping onto my face despite the current situation. After five long years, she was standing in front of me again. It was real.
"Y/N..." she finally said, speaking for the first time since she'd seen me. Her grip tightened slightly on my hands, but she didn't drop them or step away, which I took as a good sign. "How is this possible? Is this... real?"
She raised an eyebrow and looked a little more critically at our joined hands before looking over her shoulder at Strange. Her awe had started to wear off, and I could tell she was rapidly starting to believe this was some kind of hallucination.
"Wan... I swear to you, it's real. I'm real."
"How can I be sure of that?" she asked, her voice taking on a new, more scary and angry quality to it. "How can I know you're real?"
"I have a visceral memory and a scar nobody else but you and Piet have ever seen from your seventeenth birthday when you thought it would be a good idea to surprise Pietro with a birthday cake so we snuck into the back of that combination bakery and butcher's shop and-"
"Okay! Okay, I... I believe you," she said, a small smile at last tugging at the edges of her lips. She held my hands more softly and tenderly now than she had before, and even tugged me a little closer to her. "But that just brings us back to... how?"
I sighed, then started explaining everything to her, bit by bit. What it felt like to lose her, and how it broke me. How I decided to leave, and how I'd done such a good job of it I hadn't known the people had come back from the Snap until a few hours ago.
"But Wanda, I swear, if I'd known a second sooner I would've come racing back to you. I'm so sorry it took me so long to find you again," I said, squeezing her hands for extra emphasis. She'd looked away from me towards the beginning of my story, staring at the flowers that continued to bloom around us, presumably trying to process all the new information. I stayed silent once my story finished, waiting for her response.
"I missed you, Y/N," she said at last, pulling me in for a tight hug. I wrapped my arms around her, feeling a weight off my shoulders as we held each other close. After a moment, however, I felt her tense, and I couldn't help thinking it had something to do with Strange and all his people gathering behind me.
"Wanda..." I whispered, pulling back to look at her and simultaneously willing a wall of flowers up behind me, to help hide Wanda from the stress of the situation. She kept her hands resting on my waist as I reached up to take her face in my hands. "Focus on me."
Slowly, she did, her eyes sliding from the people behind us and back to meet mine. She looked on the verge of breaking, but I did my best to anchor her here, instead of wherever her mind was threatening to run off to.
"Wanda. Tell me what's happening."
"I have to find my boys. They exist in every universe but this one, I... I have to find them."
I nodded slowly. Strange had told me as much, but I'd rather hear it from Wanda than anyone else.
"Are you completely sure they're not here? No version of them whatsoever?" I asked. She nodded slowly, seeming less stable with every movement. I stroked my thumb along her cheek, and it seemed to help a little. "How do you know?"
Wanda hesitated for half a second, then met my eyes with a renewed strength and confidence, in me as much as herself.
"I consulted the Dark Hold."
"The what? Wanda, tell me you're not talking about that crazy witchy book we heard legends about, that we heard Hydra scientists whispering about like it could kill them at the mere mention of its name?"
"The very same."
I closed my eyes and sighed, honestly unable to help myself. When I opened them again, Wanda didn't seem any less discouraged, but she was also clearly waiting for me to say something else. We were in this together now, one way or another.
"Wanda... do you still have the book?"
In answer, she took one hand off my hip and conjured the book in thin air. I stared at it, tempted to reach for it and huck it as far away from her as I could get it, but I resisted.
"Can I make a suggestion, then?" I asked. Wanda looked a little hesitant, but nodded all the same. "Okay, you have to promise to hear me all the way out."
"This feels like the time you convinced me to steal our asshole neighbor's truck for a joyride under the guise of our own version of justice..." she said, raising an eyebrow at me. I laughed and grinned back, slipping one of my own arms around Wanda's waist and pulling her a bit closer to me.
"Yeah, it does feel kind of like that," I said. She rolled her eyes, but I caught her with a smile on her face all the same. "Alright, here's what I'm thinking: What if you give the Dark Hold to the Mystic Arts people?"
"Y/N-!" Wanda looked outraged and started to take a step back, but I held a little tighter to her waist and held up my other hand to show I meant no harm.
"Wan, you promised! I just think, based on everything we heard about that thing... it might not be a bad idea to try looking without the influence of the Dark Hold. You and I can search the world for them, or for any trace of them or how we might bring them to be, independent of that thing's influence."
"...And if we fail?" she asked. The hesitation was enough to give me hope that she might actually be slightly open to my suggestion.
"If we fail, I'll help you do what it takes to get to them," I replied. Wanda raised an eyebrow, so I continued. "Preferably by peaceful, negotiating means. But... otherwise by any means necessary."
Now both eyebrows shot up. Wanda looked at me for a few minutes, but didn't break my stare. I held it confidently. She was the love of my life; I had faith that my strategy would prevail, but if it didn't, I was more than willing to go to the ends of the Earth for and with her.
"Why would you do that for me?" she finally asked. I couldn't help huffing a laugh as I looked away, before looking back to Wanda again.
"Do you seriously need me to explain the reason? I love you." Wanda blinked a few times, so I continued. "I've loved you our entire lives, Wanda. You're my best friend and... and you're the love of my life."
She just stared at me for a few beats, and I felt awkward enough that I spoke again.
"Of course, I don't expect you to feel the same way, and I'm sorry if I-"
I stopped short when Wanda's free hand moved from my waist to carefully caress my cheek. Her expression softened into a loving, sympathetic look I'd seen her give me a few times, but this one somehow felt a little different. She leaned in, and I didn't move an inch as she placed the softest, lightest kiss to my lips before pulling back, a warmer expression than I'd seen all day on her face.
"I love you too," she said, giving me a soft smile. One of the first I'd seen from her in a long, long time. "I'll always love you."
I smiled back at her, butterflies and fireworks exploding in my chest. I knew she was still healing, so I didn't push anything, just gave her a little squeeze with the hand still around her waist. After another second, she held the Dark Hold out to me. Carefully, I took it out of her hand, then took a step backwards. Wanda nodded to me, communicating without words that she'd wait, and I turned around.
By now, the flowers I'd started sprouting for privacy had grown into a full wall of vines. With a few gestures from my one raised free hand, I gave myself a path to the Sanctum walls. As soon as it opened, everyone within the Sanctum froze and stared at me. Strange stood in the front, Wong just to his side, everyone else waiting right behind for them to break through the vines. Every single one of them looked ready to fight.
"What's wrong with all of you?" I asked, walking forward calmly and confidently. Strange tensed, but didn't make a move to attack.
"You need to be careful with that book, Y/N," he said, tension in every word and line of his body. I rolled my eyes.
"Obviously. Which is why I'm bringing it to you. You do remember that you're the ones that brought me here, right?"
Strange looked confused as I came to a stop in front of him, then shoved the book into his chest. He took it all the same, and Wong gave me a small smile as I walked back a step.
"Wanda and I are going to leave," I announced, raising my voice to address the Sanctum at large. "We're going to go spend some time figuring things out. And absolutely no one is going to follow us."
The vines tightened a little around the Sanctum walls at my word. I held both hands down by my hips, fingers splayed out, controlling the vines and making sure everyone in that Sanctum remembered just how powerful I was. After a few moments, I felt Wanda approaching from behind me. I reached back and she took my hand, and with a little magic from her, we levitated into the air, my vines and her storm fading back to normalcy around the Sanctum as we left.
I could see the slight fear on the faces of Wong and especially Strange as we headed off together. They were worried, and maybe rightfully so, that they'd just created an even bigger threat by reuniting me and Wanda.
But I loved her, more than anyone else in the world. It would take some time, for both of us, to figure things out. But I knew in my heart that our love could and would overcome every single other hurdle that came our way, for the rest of our lives.
We'd both lost everything and everyone we'd ever cared about. Now that we'd found our way back to each other again, nothing would ever tear us apart. We'd face the world and then some, together.
