Touch-Starved Azul Fluff: Part 2

Part 1 -----   "Hey Azul.." You yawn and come up beside him, resting your head against his shoulder, hugging him from behind. The octopus finds himself flustered as your touch calms nerves he didn't even realize were flustered. ".. Hello, ___. Not sleeping well?" "Nah, Crowley's been riding my ass about some problem happening in the bowels of the school. It's all bullshit down there." You gripe, nuzzling into the back of his neck, slowly worming your face into the crook of his neck, looking over his shoulder. "What're you up to?" Your hands warmly wrap around his waist, tugging him in close.

His face warms up as he finds himself flustered by how close you are. How nice it feels. How he realizes how badly he missed your company because of how nice it felt to be touched by you. ".. Would you like to rest in my office in the Mostro Lounge?" "Nah, your couches are uncomfy as hell." "I've never quite had someone compare my establishment to unending torture before." "Really?" You grin against him. "With your reputation with students, I'm surprised." He scoffs and shrugs you off, flustered at how wonderful your grin felt against him. He knows you're messing with him. He turns to face you but he sees the circles forming under your eyes from how tired you are. He reaches out without thinking and gently touches your face, concerned for your health. "Oh look what that horrible headmage has done to you.." You've been so touchy-feely with him, he didn't even think a second thought about it until he feels the warmth rising in your cheeks under his touch, and the way you stare at him star-struck from the contact. The look in your eye is so strange and new that he panics and pulls away, stammering; "A-ah.. Please just take better care of yourself." "You should take care of me." He's bewildered as you say this, looking at you in confusion. "???" "That felt nice. Hold me Azul! Nurse me back to health!" You drape yourself onto him again, this time laughing as he short-circuits and gets flustered and tries to push you away. He gripes but it's no use. You've got him in your arms, and he can't hide how nice it feels to have you draped around him. He rubs the bridge of his nose, his shoulders sinking as he sighs. He tries to recompose himself, but he can't make eye-contact with you. You're such a strange friend compared to the people he's met so far. But, he thinks he likes it.

So, I saw a batch of things about MC's mortality and it made me think...

Maybe that's the reason that Lucifer didn't tell the others about Lilith cause eventually they have to watch Lilith die again.

It's different when they lost Lilith once and the pain of seeing it again, is going to hurt.

Sure you could make the argument that she'll live a happy life, but we are talking about the brothers. They'll try to keep her safe.

I read this fic while it was ongoing and I loved every update! The hurt really hurts and the comfort near the end feels AMAZING! You get to wonder about how things turned out the way they are for a while before secrets are revealed - and all of the motivations and the backstories feel amazing!

The worldbuilding throughout is really fun too, and the ending and prologue felt perfect for such an amazing fic! I highly recommend this one!

AAAAAA I love this fic so much and I'm sure that any fellow fans of both Twisted Wonderland and Obey Me will enjoy it too! The friendships between the reader and many of the characters, as well as the shenanigans from both NRC and the Devildom are really fun to read about - and as the story progresses the story grows more and more!

The integration of both worlds is really amazing and I highly recommend this fic if you like both fandoms!

This is one of my favourite ongoing fics that I've been reading - the take on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons world, and it evokes some fun emotions too! The main character, Alex, is fun to read about, and the use of other points of view to give us insight to other characters all works great together and results in a really fun fic to read!

I do recommend checking the tags of this one, as well as the notes of some of the chapters, as it can touch on uncomfortable subjects at times - but I hope you can enjoy this fic as much as I do!

It's got some sweet moments with a focus on the way that Yuu and Grim's personalities bounce off of one-another really well. It's a great fic to read and I highly recommend!

Medium Banana Butters

A fic I wrote for my 🧋Shakes Shop🧋 Event; which I made to work on my writing skills.

 It felt strange, walking around The Crux, not as a tourist, but as an employee. Upon arriving at the ship, you were handed your nametag, a crewmen-only deck plan (which showed both guest and crew areas), and a key card to your cabin; room 219. And after putting everything away, you took a wander around the ship, to see all of the just-added attractions. From the library on deck 5 aft, to your job on the pool half of deck 10 forward. Where several unique-looking people were hanging out.

 "A customer! Would you like a shake? It's on the cruise; just like it is for all crewmen." One of them greeted.

 "Maybe later. I'm here to see where I'll be working for the next few months."

 "You must be the evening-shift bartender, then! Perfect timing; your coworkers arrived just a few minutes ago." They said, stepping aside and gesturing to two a group of three.

 "I AIN'T TAKIN' ORDERS FROM A SQUIRREL!" A tall, white-haired man hollered.

 "WHO YOU CALLIN' A SQUIRREL, YOU STICK?!" A black-and-white, flaming-eared cat shouted back.

 "..." The long-haired blonde stuck between them remained silent, looking horrified.

 "YOU! WHO EVEN ARE YOU?!"

 "I'M THIS PLACE'S GREAT MASCOT! GRIM'S THE NAME. WHO'RE YOU!?"

 "MAMMON! THIS PLACE'S GREAT SEVER!"

 "GREAT! NOW SERVE ME A TUNA ICE CREAM SHAKE!"

 "NO! THAT'S DISGUSTIN'."

 "YOU'RE DISGUSTING!"

 "I'm working with this for four months?!" You exclaimed in shock. All three boys turned their attention to you.

 "Who're you?" The bickering boys asked in unison, eyes squinted.

 "This place's evening bartender. (Y/N)."

 "I'm Aether," The blonde finally spoke, raising his hand. "A server here. So is Mammon. Grim here's the mascot."

 "The Great Mascot!" Grim corrected.

 "Great-schmate," Aether retorted.

7 – Have you ever had a fic change your opinion of a character?

Oh most definitely! I'm always open to new takes on characters q(≧▽≦q) After all, what is a fandom if not sharing our interpretation of a character for others to see? I don't remember all the ones that changed my opinion of a character, but I at least tell you the most recent one!

I started reading some Twisted-Wonderland fanfics when I came across a work called Perplexing Potions by @curatoroffiction. I will admit I'm not a big fan of Floyd because his behavior rubs me the wrong way. Something about his mood swings doesn't quite click for me. But the way they write the interaction between the reader and Floyd is fascinating, it gave a new light and makes me reconsider what I think about his behavior.

Touch-Starved Azul Fluff

Ever since the overblot, Azul has gotten to know your.... Friendlier side. At first, he thought it was a trick. You'd drape your arm over him in a way he was only familiar with doing to prospective clients. It was always a tactic to try to familiarize himself to them using human body language. He'd brush it off, not wanting to make waves Especially not after the embarrassing ordeal of his overblot. And at first, that was the most you ever did. An overly friendly 'Hello!' and a hug. A grinning ruffle of his hair, mussying it up. The way you'd scoop him under your arm while talking to other people. It was a bit strange at first, but he got used to it. In some ways, he grew to like it. It helped him to feel less.. embarrassed of the way you'd seen him. If you weren't bothered by it, he wouldn't be bothered by it. Even if it was just an act on your part, he was grateful to be normalized. --- He soon saw how you treated everyone - It was always the same. Overly familiar body language, tugging people into your arms, ruffling hair, rubbing backs, gripping other people's arms as you laugh, resting your head against people, ect... So he came to understand that he wasn't particularly special. This fact both relieved him and made him feel.. strange. Were you fake with everyone? Or were you genuine with everyone? ... Did that mean you were still being genuine with him? Even after everything? --- Part 2 Link

This would be stuff like “Serious/Stern/Responsible/Cunning characters react to an MC who jumps off a cliff” or something like that, where you let me know a little bit about the character concepts you wanna see, and I might riff off of it. General Rules: - I don’t write smut (Nothing against it, I just don’t do that on this account) - I won’t write romance for child characters like Ortho or Luke - Be nice, be kind, be respectful. - You can ask for non-fandom specific MC-Concepts (One of the things I’m best known for are generalized MC concepts, so feel free to give me a concept you’d love to see my thoughts on!) - You can mix fandoms (You can ask to see characters from multiple fandoms interacting, you can ask to see them reacting, you can ask for settings where they can see each other reacting and interacting, ect... - I love writing crossover stuff, so have fun!) Details about how I write: - All of the other characters I write for should be considered adults. (I know Twisted Wonderland technically takes place in a high school setting? Hard To Love Part 2

This one’s much more vague on the source of the rift in the family, focusing entirely on MC’s pain from being cast out from their family, and the parallels with their own Fall From Grace. I hope if ya’ll are feeling hard to love because of your families, that this can be a little bit of a comfort. ----- When he came to pick you up, he was expecting rage, or anger, or any of the other typical emotions that he's come to expect from family functions blowing up.

What Satan didn't expect was to find you in tears.

He'd followed your directions to the letter; Reach the end of the street from your house and text you that he was there. You arrived, huddled in your jacket, hands shoved into your pockets bare, clutching your phone to yourself as you just needed to get out of that house.

The tears that burned your skin in the cold were nothing compared to seeing the way he looked at you. He tugged you in close and murmured that you were safe now, and you were allowed to cry as long as you needed to. What you didn't see was how he stared down the darkness of the road leading to your house, and how he silently cursed those who would ever cause you this much grief.

Arriving at the House of Lamentation, you're more.. shellshocked. You told Satan everything on the way home. How your family reminded you with every little notion that you were hard to love. How you tried to salvage your relationships with your siblings, only to get that same burning sting as they repeated your parent's words back at you. How you were afraid of what this would mean for the future of your family.

How you were afraid that your nieces and nephews would learn that same hatred from the people who were supposed to have your back.

Would your family ever accept you? Would they ever just.. learn how to respect you as an equal?

You didn't know.

Which is why it hurt so badly.

Lost in your thoughts, you don't even really hear Mammon as he addresses you. When he doesn't get a response, he spits a gripe in your direction, only for Satan to shut him down immediately as a way of showing him you're in pain. When Mammon realizes you're in pain, he drops everything - Much to Asmodeus' chagrin. The two were working on dinner when Mammon comes to protectively hold you and get loud, practically becoming a live beacon that summons all the other brothers to your side as they start to wonder what's going on.

Beelzebub and Belphegor feel a familiar sting in your eyes, the way you gloss over at the mention of your own family, it reminds them of something so eerily similar.. And because of that, they both can't help but to bring you as much comfort as they can. Beelzebub brings you your favorite snacks and drinks from the kitchen as Belphegor starts building a sadness nest in the living room.

Leviathan came out of his room to yell at Mammon for being so loud, but upon seeing you in so much pain, immediately comes to distract you with merch from the shows and games you both share a love for. He'd bought you some gifts because of the human realm connections between wintertimes and gift-giving, so he starts showering you with the comfort of gifts as he attempts to soothe you.

Asmodeus even stops his work in the kitchen to find out what all the fuss is, and when he finds your eyes puffy with tears, he immediately begins to coo and carefully tend to you. He takes you from Satan to address your physical needs and help you find comfort. You might not be able to take care of yourself right now, but he'll take care of all of that for you. He and Levi take you upstairs to draw you a bath, followed in tow by Beelzebub who is absolutely certain that you need to eat and drink good food right now.

Mammon actually quiets down as his brothers pour in to help you. It seems he got loud on purpose so the others could take care of you. He turns to Satan. "What the fuck happened?"

".. Their family rejected them. Said they were too hard to love."

The demon looks bewildered in shock. "Why the fuck would they do that?!"

"Something about a difference of opinions in human beliefs. I'll be honest, seeing them like that, it's been taking everything inside of me not to run back to that house and give them an earful of my opinion on their fucking beliefs." Satan's facade of calm starts to crack now that you're gone, and Mammon sighs, racking his head for a way to solve this. His human is in pain, and there's gotta be a way to solve that, right?

Lucifer catches a glimpse of you in the hall, huddled by his brothers all comforting you in their own ways. He realizes that you're being tended to, so he gives you just a passing stare as you and the huddle of his brothers disappear into Asmodeus' room. Belphegor is lagging behind with some pillows, which Lucifer stops to ask what's going on. Belphegor says Satan knows more, and disappears into the room after you all.

Lucifer heads downstairs.

He had hoped to never see that look on your face.

The look of someone who'd just been rejected by their home, rejected by their family...

The look of someone who'd just been cast out.

Having seen every one of his brothers in a similar state after The Fall, he hoped he'd never see another person he loved in this much pain.

"Humans really are stupid." Mammon openly gripes, scritching his head. Him and Satan can't figure a way to help you outside of going to your house and beating the crap out of anyone that made you cry, so when Lucifer arrives, he breathes a sigh of relief. Finally, someone who might be able to keep a cool head through this and help you.

"I want answers." Lucifer glares at Mammon and Satan scoffs;

"Ask ___'s family. Seems they think they're purposefully creating a rift in their own family by just being themselves."

Lucifer's heart sinks. His gut was right.

By every sense of the word, you'd been cast out too.

"..."

All three men stand in a small triangle, unsure of what to do.

Mammon looks up to Lucifer; "Can we help 'em fix the rift? Like they did ours?"

"Not likely." Satan again scoffs. "Ours were from a lack of communication. ___'s tried communicating from every angle with those ingrates. In every sense of the word, they've been patient in ways that even I struggle with. Anything else would just be forcing them through more suffering, and for what? For their family to reject them all over again? Fuck that."

"..." Mammon's brow knits together in thought.

Lucifer, however, already has a solution. "We've been through this before, Mammon. ___ is hurting and has just been cast out. We'll let them find their own methods for soothing, and do our bests to help them grieve the pain."

"... Sure is similar to that, huh." Mammon's eyes get soft, remembering their own fall from the graces of their own family.

".. Yes, I'd say so."

"They got a room to stay in, they got clothes, they got good- AH FUCK THE FOOD" Mammon rushes towards the kitchen to make sure you have good food tonight. Lucifer and Satan both go over the other possible needs you might have, which actually gives Satan a glimpse into what it was like for Lucifer to tend to all the other 5 after the fall.

All seven demons find themselves fiercely protective of you tonight, doing their bests to make sure that you're comfortable. They listen as you talk about your family, oftentimes giving their own snarky gripes as you tell your side of the story, never once letting you think that telling them the story causes their love for you to falter in any way.
