Yeah Miranda Sings was a character parodying overly confident bad singers and the character evolved over time and even got a netflix show. Colleen Ballinger, actor and creator of Miranda, did vlogs and stuff, including family vlogs when she had kids.

I just want to address the Colleen Ballinger stuff for a sec.
In no way am I saying what she did was okay. It was absolutely disgusting and I am disappointed in her. I've never really watched her Miranda Sings videos before, however I've watched a few of her normal vlogs and TikToks and enjoyed some of her normal content.
What I do want to address is cancel culture.
Does anyone remember when this exact same thing happened with Shane Dawson? And Tati Westbrook? And James Charles? And Jeffree Star? And Jenna Marbles? And like all of the big YouTube influencers.
For awhile all of the news was about the Shane/Jeffree drama. Shane was 'canceled' because of his past (grooming, Bl*ckface, etc). He lost tons of subscribers during that time but then everyone went running back to him as soon as he started making videos again. The exact same thing happened with Tati Westbrook and James Charles. People are so two-faced. And I'll admit, I was this way when I was in middle school. I was all caught up in the YouTuber drama and who did what and who was currently being canceled.
None what any of them did was okay. Shane, Jeffree, James, and Colleen are disgusting for what they've done and deserve to be fully canceled. But everyone will move in less than a month. This doesn't even go for just YouTubers. Remember when everyone was hating on Hailey Bieber and now everyone has moved on? That situation was literally in the news. And remember when everyone was so obsessed with how horrible Matty Healy was? But now thats long gone, not because he stopped being a bad person, but because Taylor and Matty broke up. And remember when everyone was hating on Adam Levine for hating on his pregnant wife? Literally no one talks about that anymore.
Its just insane to me how quickly people move on from things. I'm not saying that what these people have done are okay, especially considering their lame ass 'apology' videos. But don't hate on them and then move on in a few weeks. Most of these people aren't hating on Colleen, Jeffree, James, etc because they actually genuinely care that what they did was wrong, most people are just hating on them because they're bored and want to stir up drama.
Cancel culture is a prime example of mob mentality/the bandwagon effect.
