Imagine: playing with the hair of the Madrigal twins.

🦎☀ • Camilo doesn't really let anyone touch his hair, well besides his mamí. But he doesn't get a choice in that one, mostly because he is a mama's boy and can't deny his mama when she asks to brush his hair for old time's sake.

🦎☀ • When you both started dating he was ready to give you the hairbrush and any hair ties he could find in Casita, Camilo might be a natural flirt but when he falls he falls hard.

🦎☀ • he sits on the floor against his bed as he reads the new comic his Papí gave him for his birthday, leaning back as you run your fingers through his curls. He practically purrs at the feeling. It relaxes him every time.

His hair is actually very smooth and barely has any knots, mostly from the trauma he gained from his mother when he was younger about not keeping his hair well-kept as she yanked the hairbrush (if you know you know)

🦎☀ • Once you finished taking two sides of his hair and pulling each side tightening the hair tie and securing the high bun, his bangs hung around his face like his Mamí. He looked to his side stretching to see himself in his mirror from his sitting position and smiled. He liked it.

His Mamí was complimentary of his new hairstyle and was pleased to match with her son she had a rainbow over her head the rest of the day.

🦎🎤 • yeah. No. He doesn't let anyone touch his hair, and practically runs from his mamá when he sees her rushing toward him with a hairbrush, "Carlos Control that hair, or I'll do it for you!"

"No! Mamá it's my hair!"

*thunders*

🦎🎤 • When you start dating, it'll take some time before you get the privilege of touching his hair. He will try and hint at wanting his hair played with by resting his head in your lap but angles his head so his hair is perfectly in reach and accessible if you still don't get the hint? He huffs before grabbing your hair and placing it on his head.

🦎🎤 • His head rests on your lap as you both talk about your days (well, it's mostly just him braging about all the successful pranks he pulled that day) as you play with his hair. His hair is soft but has tangles for sure, no matter how many times his mamá lectured him about protecting his hair as he slept and detangling it regularly as she ripped a hairbrush through his curls before using a mountain of products to help with the detangling process it just never stuck.

But if you take the time to detangle his hair gently with few tugs as possible, he would appreciate it even if he won't say it out loud.

🦎🎤 • He barely notices his hair is in a high bun until he sits up and his hair doesn't cover one of his eyes like it usually does. He kinda just grumbles but is too lazy to untie the scrunchie knowing he would receive an earful if he just yanked it out not only from you but from his Mamá.

His mamá is very grateful for you and your service, if she had to detangle his hair one more time she was sure to thunder from his constant disregard of her words.

— since Christmas is around the corner, i decided to make these headcanons bc i'm still down bad for the twins, merry Christmas to y'all! <33

It was that time of the year again, but Camilo and Carlos thought this year's Christmas is going to be special because they were going to spend it with you <3

Camilo is def a festive person, he likes to get into the mood. He'll volunteer to set up Christmas decorations, he'll help make food (and secretly sneak some to eat), and he'll even wear one of those ugly and itchy-looking Christmas sweaters lmfao

Carlos, on the other hand, could care less about the holiday. It's not like he hates Christmas, he's just not into the festivities. But there are instances where he tries (or is forced) to get into the holiday spirit.

Camilo would definitely force Carlos to wear one of those ugly sweaters hehehe

A few days before Christmas, you'll drag the twins to go shopping for presents. Camilo and Carlos are eager to give suggestions on picking the best gifts until it turns into a competition

"[Name] you should get this" "No, that looks like shit. This is much better" "Nobody asked for your opinion, Carlos" "You're just mad because your opinion is shit"

After shopping, the two are happily helping you carry all the stuff you bought. They're also wondering what you got for them but you'll only wink and say it's a secret, to their dismay.

You'll invite Camilo and Carlos to try and make some cookies or a gingerbread house. At first, it seemed fine until Camilo almost sets your home on fire because he put the heat on high thinking it would help cook the cookies faster. And Carlos almost poisons the three of you because he didn't follow the proper instructions for the ingredients

The festive cooking was definitely chaotic but somehow the three of you managed to make it work

For Christmas eve, Camilo and Carlos invited you to eat dinner with The Madrigal Family. When you arrived, you were greeted with warm smiles and kind faces. Everyone welcomed you with open arms, it tugged on your heartstrings. The twins were glad.

Dinner starts. The food was scrumptious, and you thanked Julieta Madrigal for her tremendous cooking. Suddenly, Alma says something about Camilo and Carlos telling so many stories about you.

"Ay, mis nietos would never shut up about you, [Name]" "Abuela!"

You'll only laugh thinking how cute it was to see Camilo and Carlos flustered. Pepa and Félix are watching their sons, holding hands and realizing how much they've grown. Dolores, Isabela, Mirabel, and the rest of the Madrigal children would try to tease Camilo and Carlos about you. Watching the two turn red and stumble on their words was amusing.

After dinner, you helped clean the table and plates. It was nearly midnight when you decided to spend some time with the Madrigal family. You played games, sang songs, and exchanged stories while waiting for midnight.

At the stroke of midnight, you smiled and said "Merry Christmas!" and hugged each and every one in the room. When you got to Camilo and Carlos, the two pulled you into a tight and endearing embrace, it lasted longer than the rest

THEY'RE BURYING THEIR FACES IN THE CROOK OF YOUR NECK AND YOUR HEARTBEAT IS JUST RACING BECAUSE YOU CAN FEEL THEIR BREATHS ON YOUR NECK HDSGDHSFDHS

You gave some gifts to their family. Finally, you gave your gifts to Camilo and Carlos. The two eagerly tore the wrapper off and clutched their chests when they saw what you got for them.

You gave them matching chameleon stuffed toys, Camilo's in yellow and Carlos' in maroon. They grabbed their gifts and trapped you in a bear hug, chanting "thank you"s

When the twins gave their presents to you, tears almost fell from your eyes when you tore off the wrapper. It was a photo album filled with pictures of you three together. It was decorated with stickers and filled with sentimental photographs. You sniffed and flipped through the pages, you looked at the two and opened your arms.

"You guys are really the best!" You pouted as Camilo and Carlos chuckled before hugging you again.

After everyone got their gifts, Antonio gasped and pointed outside the window to say it was snowing, you gasped and took a peek. It began snowing! Quickly, you grabbed your jacket, scarf, and hat. You took both Camilo's and Carlos' hands.

"Come on!" You said and giggled. The three of you watched in awe as the snow fell down. You go lie down on the snow to make a snow angel, and Camilo copies you. The two of you laughed, but the moment was ruined when a snowball landed on Camilo's face. You burst out cackling.

Carlos snickered and grinned as he watched you laugh at Camilo, the latter was giving him a death glare. Immediately, a snowball fight commences

It's really just Carlos and Camilo throwing snowballs at each other LMFAO

Camilo would accidentally throw a snowball hard against your face. The twins stop to check on you but you got them right into your trap as you threw snowballs at their faces.

The three of you also grabbed some sleighs and went on a sleigh ride around the area. It was super fun! Camilo and you would also make fun of Carlos for always falling off his sleigh lmao poor guy

Camilo, Carlos, and you stayed outside, lying on the snow just enjoying each other's company. It was peacefully quiet and sentimental <33

You can slowly feel your face go numb from the cold. Carlos, being overprotective, insisted you should head inside. But you shook your head, wanting to remain out in the snow. Camilo chimes in and agree that the three of you should go inside because it was freezing.

You three went inside and discovered that Julieta made hot chocolates. So, Camilo, Carlos, and you decided to warm up next to the fireplace while drinking hot chocolate.

The two discover that you're shivering, so they stood up and grabbed the longest scarf they can find.

CAMILO AND CARLOS SHARED THE SCARF WITH YOU. THEY SNUGGLED WITH YOU IN THE MIDDLE AND YOUR FACE IS JUST HEATING UP LIKE PLSSS THEY'RE SO SWEET HDFHSFDHSDS

You're warming up with the twins when you took notice of the decorations, you choked on your own saliva when you realized a mistletoe was hanging above you three

"Ayo is that?" "No way"

Camilo and Carlos realized why you were staring at the ceiling. They looked around and saw their family whispering in the corner, they definitely plotted this!

You couldn't look at the two in their eyes, they notice and reassured you that it was okay not to follow the Christmas tradition

However, you decided to grab Camilo's face first and gave him a smooch on the cheek. HE FAINTS LMFAOOOOO

Carlos turns grumpy because why haven't you kissed him too? >:(

But you rolled your eyes and grabbed his face before placing a tender kiss on the cheek. Carlos.exe has stopped working

It was safe to say this was Camilo and Carlos' best Christmas ever

Camilo with a Sick S/O Headcannons

Camilo is a person who respects women, so of course he would never have a problem with his S/O being sick.

Camilo would allow his aunt to heal you but he would rather to take care of you himself . How you may ask? Making food for you, cleaning and so on.

Camilo doesn't care if he gets sick when taking care of you, cuddling is a must! I totally see Camilo being a person who sings to his S/o to make them happy.

Camilo's gift tends to malfunction when something is wrong with his S/o, but tends to stop when his S/o remind him that everything is OK.

I can see Camilo going to Dolores to see if it is a girl problem that he doesnt know about. And tries to learn from his tia about healing remedies just to be prepared.

Overall, Camilo is one of the best boys in Encanto.

How Camilo & Carlos would react to You On Your Period

Camilo

•Cuddles. Kisses. More cuddles.

•He's internally freaking out so bad

•He feels bad that you're in a lot of pain

•Got you like 5 heating pads even though you only wanted 1

•Brings you your favorite food, drink, snack, favorite anything (including the flowers he begged Isabela for)

•Doesn't let you leave your bed even though you insist you're fine

•If you get bad cramps he'll lay with you and hold his hand on top of a heating pad, hoping to make it a little better

•Maybe he'll have Antonio bring in your favorite animal to cuddle with (if you like animals)

•Definitely bought the wrong pads the first time, the second time he got them they were too big, the third time they were too small... he felt horrible

(He got the right ones the fourth time though and he felt a little better)

•I imagine him to naturally be very very warm, like if he's laying being you spooning you with his hands gently rubbing your stomach area, you'll feel sm better

•If your cramps/mood gets really bad, he'll take you up to his room to relax

You singlehandedly changed the trajectory of Carlos Madrigals' life since day 1 with just a simple smile

Camilo invited Carlos for a talent showcase in his school and that's where he first saw you

Carlos never thought he'd be the one for romance and he absolutely never believed in love at first sight but Camilo only laughed at him when he saw hearts coming out of his brother's eyes when he saw your solo

Carlos begged Camilo to introduce you to him and despite Carlos making himself look like a cold jerk, he kept melting inside when you would talk to him

Soon enough he asked you out and when you said yes he went home with a dumb smile on his face

He is the best boyfriend you could ever ask for. Despite you two not having much in similarities, you found common ground in music and dance

Carlos is literally your biggest fan. He is present in ALL your practices, presentations, shows, competitions, etc. This man would cross the river and a hurricane just to see you dance

"Do you ever get dizzy spinning around so much like that?"

He would not hesitate to drive you everywhere for practices and events. His other hand would either be on your lap or on your hand (he's not a fan of PDA so if your ballet friends are hitching for a ride his other fingers would be tapping on the steering wheel resisting the urge to hold you)

Carlos is a gift-giver. He would be spoiling you with new costumes, new pointe shoes, new tutus, and other stuff that makes you look good

Would volunteer to break your pointe shoes the moment he gifts it to you. Sometimes he goes overboard but you find him hot in the end when he's smashing and crushing the poor soles of the shoes

When I say he is your biggest fan, I mean it. His phone wallpaper is you in an arabesque position with a pink and gold decorated tutu that his cousin Mirabel had sewn for you

He also flexes you, a LOT. He's always bragging to his friends how his girlfriend is a pretty ballerina and shows them hundreds of videos of you that he took

Carlos would go to hell and back to make sure that you're okay. In his car or his room there's always a kit for you that includes hot packs, adhesive relief patches, band-aids, essential oils and pain remedies if ever you feel discomfort at the end of the day

He also keeps extra hoodies of him in the car for you to wear if you feel cold or breezy in your dance outfits

Both of you are private people in general, not too open out so communication may get a little tricky between the two of you

But you make it up through quality time. Carlos knows how drained you get after whole days of dancing so at night he either brings you out for a night drive, stays in to watch a movie with you, or to just cuddle with him until you sleep

The moment he hears you groan in pain, he's out there grabbing meds and ice packs dashing at the speed of light

Bringing back to when I said that Carlos is your biggest fan and supporter. This means he would go the extra mile to help you improve better;

Everyone knows Carlos Madrigal is good with the guitar. But what they don't know is that he secretly bought a piano and learnt it by himself so that he can practice the classical pieces that you perform to.

Every time he sees you dance, he falls in love again and again. And mind you, he's trained for punk rock so if he sleeps through every other classical performance except for yours, that's how you know he's whipped af for you.

He's always complimenting and calling you beautiful every time

If you two pose for pictures after show, his hand is always on your waist. No exceptions.

Carlos Madrigal is an awkward romantic. You can tell he really tries and it makes you find him adorable and sweet (he hates it when you tell him that though)

His petnames for you always have the word 'my' with a word related to your career. My ballerina, my princess, my doll, my queen, my swan, my feather, etc. It makes you melt inside and he loves the look you get when it happens

If Carlos is a gift-giver, he's also a gift-keeper. He's a sentimental person lowkey and he has this antique chest where he keeps your show tickets, dried roses you have received, stray ribbons that fall from your outfit, and even the spare fabric that he sneakily steals from his cousin when she sews an outfit for you

He knows the strict diet you must follow as a professional dancer, so as much as you discourage it, he sneaks in small candy in the pockets of your sweatpants for a little guilt filling treat while practicing

He's also a trouble maker not only during your practices but also on your shows. Despite the 'no recording' rule, he always hides in his seats while filming you for safekeeping (also so that he can re-watch you again and again)

Lowkey gets hella jealous when you're with other male dancers but he won't admit it. You can tell because he unconsciously pouts and gets extra affectionate at the end of the day when you two get home

Highkey wants to dance the last dance scene in that Barbie movie you love at his wedding day but he's too cowardly to admit it (also because he's barely confident in his dancing skills and doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of you

You don't notice it, but when you two go shopping he eyes a bunch of baby tutus and doll shoes and he gets all giddy inside

Only you can manage to make this boy soft tbh he barely shows any emotion towards anyone else but he's always so open and chaotic when you two are alone together

To other people, he's really nonchalant and chill but if he's with you he's always speaking so softly

But when you two argue he would try so hard not to raise his voice but it fails. You two take time off each other and Carlos misses you again so he just runs back to you and acts like a lost puppy wanting to be pet

Only you can see this warm side of him. Never does he act all happy and giddy in public not even in front of his twin brother

Speaking of Camilo, he snitches to you a lot on how flustered Carlos would get when your name gets mentioned at their family dinner

Anxelin Fitzherbert: She's Goth.

Arabella: She's morally gray (and had ill intentions when she stole her granddad's trident).

Crabby: is actually quite pleasant to be around.

Crocodile Descendants: They love tormenting Captain Hook and wrestling.

Cubby: He handles Neverland Academy's finances.

Danny Darling-Cooper: He's good at tourney and ROAR.

Derek: He's a selective mute and carries a bell around to get his friends' attention when they're arguing.

Derelict (Electric Eel): He's the friendly eel.

Desiree: She's one of the most wild pirate kids. Even when compared to her crewmates.

Diego de Vil: His most popular song is titled 'Kill the Beast'.

Dizzy Tremaine: She joins Evie's business when she graduates and her jewelry becomes very popular.

Doc II: Goes by Raphael.

Doug: Evie helps him meet his favorite band (The Dragon Players) on his 21st birthday.

Dude (The Dog): He is jealous of Beelzebub.

Eddie Balthazar: He is always tired.

Eliza: She becomes more of a rebel as she grows up and is always backing Jane up when FG gets difficult (like most parents do).

Elle: She's adopted.

Emir (number 26): He's Aziz's younger brother and is a lot like his dad, personality wise. He does not like his mom's cousins.

Evie: She is Dizzy's half sister.

Finn the Mer-Boy: He works at neverland academy but also remains as Neverland's Protectors (kicking entitled tourist out when they cause too much non fun trouble/damage).

Freddie Facilier: Is banned from being alone with Jordan because those two are just as bad as Ally and Cj when alone together.

Gaston Jr.: He relates a lot to Luisa Madrigal. He also walks with a limp after a failed escape attempt he and his father attempted (he nearly drowned).

Gaston The 3rd.: He's the smart twin.

Gesundheit: Cannot for the life of him spell his name.

Gil: Has stolen a penguin from the zoo with Jay, Chad, Harry, and Carlos before.

Ginny Gothel: Is allergic to flowers. Her middle name is flower.

Gordon: Is a mechanic.

Hadie: Has a villain phase as a teen that no one takes seriously.

Hamish of DunBroch: He works with bears.

Hana: She is the royal party planner in her kingdom.

Hap: He's a hippie/hipster mixture and has a van he customized himself.

Harriet Hook: She has a hip high rose tattoo and broke Anthony Tremaine's nose once when she was 12.

Harris of DunBroch: Will not hesitate to bite people in fights even as an adult.

Harry Badun: He is a detective and has made it his job to make everyone behind the isle and every bad isle adult's lives hell. He will also make up outrageous theories to mess with people he doesn't like.

Harry Hook: Is good at art and has Dyscalculia.

Henry: He's a long lost de Vil.

Herkie: He has his dad's personality and strength but his mama's brain and kinda looks like a blend of his parents.

Hermie Bing: She has a variety of circus related skills, loves clowns, has a sweet tooth, and wears very colorful clothes.

Hubert of DunBroch: Loves reminding his sister of how she turned him into a bear all the time.

Hunter de Vil: His influencer career takes off when the barrier is brought down.

Ivy de Vil: She's allergic to hair dye and becomes a great model when off the isle.

Izzy: She's ROAR instructor at Neverland Academy.

Jace Badun: His mom was a strong woman at the Ringmaster's circus. He is the most exasperated person you will ever meet.

Jack/Korak: He prefers 'Korak' over Jack. He takes after his dad looks wise but his mom personality and fashion wise.

Jade: She has tons of scars from the crocodile wrestling.

Jake: Because of him, Princess Pirate, Finn, Stormy, Marina, Izzy, and Cubby all grew up.

James Brown Jr.: He works at a candy shop.

Jane: She's a big gossip and she and Carlos both bonded over this.

Jane Darling-Cooper: She's a teaching assistant at Neverland Academy.

Jay: He sleeps with a stuffed tiger but will deny it if asked.

Lina: Jasmine was her favorite babysitter and she in turn, ended up babysitting the younger of Jasmine's kids when she was in Agrabah.

Lucifer: Lucifer often escapes from the saloon and gets on everyone's nerves.

Lulu Brown: She's much younger than her brother, Jim/James Brown Jr. and is a very good at ballet.

Mad Maddy: She has quite the sweet tooth.

Madam Mim's granddaughters: No one is sure how many there are or how they came to be.

Maddox Hatter: He's an inventor and is very close to Red.

Mal: She grows up a lot after the royal wedding and gets back in touch with her artistic side.

Marina the Mermaid: She's the swim coach at Neverland Academy.

Marya Rasputin: She's the doctor of Harriet's crew.

Max La Bouf: He works at Tiana's palace and often caters the events for his family and Ralphie's.

Melody: She's an environmental activist and the go-to cousin everyone talks to when they need someone who will hear them out.

Meriem: She and Korak are married now, and she's very into learning languages.

Do you have any headcanons about that "Bruno Madrigal is Carlos de Vil's father" AU?

A couple!

When Carlos turned five, a door turned up in Casita but it was blocked off. Everyone knew that must mean that Bruno had a child, but they couldn't find any information on them

Bruno didn't know about Cruella's pregnancy, as their relationship was very short lived. Even after she had Carlos, he didn't suspect.

It wasn't until Carlos was almost five that Bruno found out, and it was only by chance.

In some AU's, Carlos stays with Cruella

In others, Bruno fights Cruella and takes Carlos.

Bruno's powers still work on the Isle, so he's able to make somewhat of a living on the magical side of the Isle.

In that au, Carlos grows up less fearful. He does still end up in Mal's crew

When Carlos ends up in Auradon, he seeks out his family

Antonio accepts him first, as he's the first to meet him, but no one has any trouble

Pepa and Julieta barely let go of him, and Alma almost cries, because Carlos is apart of Bruno

He's the only Madirgal to open his door as a teenager.

That's all I've come up with. I haven't thought about what his gift would be, probably something to do with electronics.

camilo and mirabel ship variants 🦎🦋

so basically on the encanto proship twt, there are a few camilo x mirabel madrigal concept arts which shippers have given names and personalities. please click the read more to find out about them!

firstly, there is cariana 🐍🐞 they are based off the following camilo and mirabel concept arts respectively:

carlos 🐍 is older and more of a meaner version of camilo. he's more jaded and doesn't really make as many jokes, but his sarcasm is through the roof.

meanwhile mariana 🐞 is a more determined/accomplished version of mirabel. she's very stubborn, almost to a fault, and she's the type to continue working despite being exhausted.

following is cesmari 🐸🕷 and they are based off the following camilo and mirabel concept arts respectively:

in this variant, cesar 🐸 is older and more intellectual. he's definitely a more serious version of camilo, and he can be quite obsessive to the point where it's almost manipulative (depending on your taste of how problematic you think the ship can be).

meanwhile maria 🕷 is also a more serious version of mirabel, however rather than being outcasted for having no gift, this variant is treated as overly delicate by her family as she's seen as someone that needs to be protected. she can also be underestimated quite often.

next is carisol 🦊🐰 and they are based off the following concept arts of camilo and mirabel. they are different because Maskiered (Mish) on twitter was the first artist to discover them:

they are seen as younger variants, and their dynamic is like the trope best friends to lovers.

Edit 1/3/23: the og artist for this variant couple has stated that they prefer the name "Carlitos" rather than Cristian for 🦊, so for future reference please respect the artist's wishes. [Source]

carlitos 🦊 is a more naive, innocent version of camilo, while marisol 🐰 is seen as the same to mirabel.

as mentioned before, twt artist Maskiered was the first to discover this ship and their art for carisol (as seen below) is some of the best, most accurate, portrayals of the two.

the next ship variant is carmiri 🦚🦉 they were discovered by Meatballs_5U on twitter and they are based off the following camilo and mirabel concept arts respectively:

carmelo 🦉 is seen as a more relaxed, slow and sluggish version of camilo. (i personally hc him to be a plant dad). he's not very smart but he's usually fairly content with his life and just feels lucky to be with his prima.

miriam 🦚 is definitely a girl boss, she's very accomplished and seen as intimidating and unapproachable. when it comes to carmelo though, she can be quite clumsy and personable - something she can really be vulnerable with him only.

as previously mentioned, twt artist Meatballs_5U first discovered this concept art ship for camilo x mirabel and some of their headcanons is that miriam is much taller than carmelo as well, showing a physical representation of their power dynamic. they also created the very first arts and portrayals for this ship, as seen below:

Edit 16/4/23:

the next few variant ships are more recent and in fact, Devil (or Honey Chouxcream) on twitter has a whole host of arts, emojis, and names for their milomira variants if you're interested; but the rest of this will be based on the other ships as Devil already made a few tweets outlining their own variants.

so the next variant ship is diomai 🌶🥝 and they were cooked up by artist @meltedvelita (who is also on tumblr and you should defs follow if you're interested and want to know more about the ship!) and this was their art of the two:

based off the artist's own headcanons, 🌶claudio (or just dio) takes after 🌤pepa a lot more in this au and he's like a mother hen wherein he gets easily anxious for his friends, especially his beloved prima 🥝maite.

meanwhile 🥝maite herself is quite oblivious and naive and has absolutely zero filter. she loves spicy foods and feels inadequate a lot of the time, something she's come to know as normal now.

the next variant ship is milche 🦟🪱 and they feature these specific concept arts of camilo and mirabel respectively:

these two are headcannoned as the youngest variants and they have a tom and jerry kind of dynamic wherein they're constantly trying to hurt each other cartoonishly and if it wasn't for the magic of Casita, there would definitely be more serious consequences to their shenanigans by now.

🦟chencho (or just che) definitely takes pleasure in torturing his prima and 🪱milena (or milly) doesnt let him get away with it.

🦂canelo and 🐌maya were born of an AU idea that @meltedvelita and I discussed where pepa, bruno, (we took their concept arts too and named them josie and bernie 💖) and felix ran away together to the jungles of encanto and they started a family of their own there. when the cracks start showing and the magic weakens, 🐌maya, who is more reserved and proper as a result of an abuela that only focused on julieta's side of the family, sets out to try and find the rest of the family and reunite them - believing this will restore the miracle.

in the jungles however, 🦂canelo hangs out all the time and he has the gift of invisibility, he's intrigued by his prima and treats her like cheshire cat does to alice (pretty much their entire dynamic) but with all the 50s monikers that he has come to love and she absolutely hates. he routinely calls her "sugar", and "doll", and "toots". as such their ship name became sugarcane! 🦂🐌

thank you to @clayxorel for letting me know that they actually made some variants too! i'm not sure what the emojis for them are yet, but their names are Crisóstomo and Mara, and they can be found being initially discussed here.

their dynamic is apparently that they act like an old, married couple (bickering) but also there's actually been years of mutual pining too! Mara does have a gift, and it's invisibility, while Crisótomo's gift is to copy the gifts of his family members!

So for now that's all the camilo x mirabel concept art ships, or variants, as they're more commonly known.

I'll definitely add more to this and keep the post updated if any new variants or ships are discovered or given names and personalities. As of right now, all the different variants are shipped quite freely, with many art works on twt featuring different mirabel concept arts with different camilo ones, there are even many that feature selfcest for each character!

Real Names in “Descendants“

Here’s a rant + solution about the characters’ names in Descendants.

Who in his right mind could accept Lonnie’s name is just that? Mal makes sense for the explanation we were given, but Evie? Even assuming Ally is short for something, isn’t that’s a weird name? The books have stuff like Herkie, Lil’ Shang, Pin, Tiger Peony, Ginny Gothel and I don’t know how many more and while I get it’s about making them recognizeable as the children of certain characters, I do get it, I still think they’re bad.

So I decided to compile a list of presumable actual names of the Descendants kids, VK and AK alike that anyone could feel free to use in fics.

Two little notes before anything else:

the -son/-dottir patronimics I see sometimes in fics are North European and should be used only in the right context, avoided otherwise. In Ancient Greek the correct suffix is -ides (gender neutral), so Mal wouldn’t be Hadesdottir but Hadeides; similarly, Uma would be Ursulaides, and Ursula Poseidonides and so forth. Despite that, I assume Auradon would want to conform to the habit of fixed family names that is normal in modern Europe, so they’d make everyone adopt one, like Chad Charming, or use the place of origin, like Jordan of Agrabah.

The explanation I have in-universe for some names is that there's an obsession in Auradon with precising who their famous parents/relatives/family friends could be and many kids end up with nicknames tied to that. Either this or because names have power when it comes to magic, so real names are kept secret and known only by the most trusted people, but that wouldn’t get along with how magic works in the movies, nor with the fact Ben and Mal shared their middle names like it was no big deal (but then again, Ben could have a secret third name and Mal didn’t specify her first name is short for Maleficent). The first explanation is easier.

I’ve been working on this list for quite some time. As such, if you use this as reference it’s fine, but I’d like to be told at least, even in a note to this post and given credit if you pick one of my ideas that aren’t mainstream in the fandom.

Also, I may add to/modify this post later on, but without taking into account anything made after Descendants 3.

That said, VKs first:

Mal: we’ve been said Mal is just short for Maleficent and the daughter isn’t allowed to use the full name because she “didn’t deserve it”. Abusive and terrible, yet it fits. But I don’t think Hades would agree and in myths there is a Melinoe who is an Hades’ daughter, so Mal’s full real name could be Maleficent Bertha Melinoe Hadeides or just Melinoe Bertha Hadeides.

Jay: I saw Jayden around and, nope, it doesn’t work for me. Either Jayanth or Jayad (both mean “victorious one”) sound a lot better and more fitting for the general area Aladdin is set in. But, really, this page has tons of names starting with Jay, pick one from there. (also, for a proper surname you should check Arabic onomastic, which is complicated, so just use “of the Isle” or “of Agrabah”, unless you know the subject well. I don’t think Auradonians would bother to learn anyway)

Evie: oh, dear, my poor girl, what an atrocity. It could be short for anything like Evelyn, Evangeline (but the Evil Queen would never choose such a meek name, plus it’s tied to Tiana’s story), Evanna, Evalina, Evisse, all can work, but the one I prefer is Everhilde or Everild, which would call back to the Evil Queen’s real name, Grimhilde. On this note, I suppose Genevieve could work too with the “parent-children with same intials” trend.

Carlos: I already said I find weird he has a Spanish name when Cruella is British, and unless there are some Spanish roots somewhere in the de Vil lineage, his name should have been Charles. But recently I headcanoned his father could be Bruno Madrigal, so the Spanish name could stay (in the books it’s stated his middle name is Oscar, which @dragoneyes618 reminded me was also Bruno’s first-draft name), so, Carlos Oscar de Vil-Madrigal.

Uma: it’s a Hebrew or Hindi name and a weird fit for the granddaughter of Poseidon (yes, I am one of those who agrees Ursula is one of Poseidon’s children and thinks a name meaning “little she-bear” is a tad weird for a sea being). But, after all, Ariel is a Hebrew name too, so Uma fits the Little Mermaid lore and all is well.

The three Hook siblings (Harriet, Harry and Calista Jane) have the most normal and reasonable names of the whole franchise and I won’t dare to change them. Perhaps I’d argue Harriet and Harry are fem/male variants of the same name, but, really, there is worse in the franchise (and I guess, when she made up Harriet, Melissa de la Cruz had no idea they’d later create Harry for the next movies).

Gil: his real name could be Gillaume (variant of Guillaume) or Gilbert. Personally, I prefer the latter (like Gilbert Motier de La Fayette, you know, lol). His brothers’ names, unfortunately, fit with Gaston’s narcissism, so they can stay. The canon surname is LeGume, although I’m not sure where it comes from exactly as it’s never mentioned in either movie or live action as far as I remember.

Freddie: I think Frederique Facilier sounds great and she probably hates it. I read that in a fic but I don’t remember whose, maybe @ginnyrules27 or @hannahhook7744 or @dragoneyes618, feel free to correct me if it’s none of theirs.

Celia: it’s a name in its own good, used in both French and Spanish (fitting for New Orleans’ culture), but if we want, we can consider it short for Cecilia.

Ginny Gothel: assuming Gothel (like Yzma) was able to procreate and Ginny isn’t actually Cassandra’s daughter (I haven’t seen the series though so I don’t know much about her), Ginny is still an abbreviation, usually of Ginevra/Guinevere. I can’t fathom why Gothel’s name became a surname though, I’m at loss here, unless we are supposed to read it as Ginevra Gotheldottir (Rapunzel is a germanic tale, so this kind of patronimic fits), shortened Ginny Gothel.

Dizzy: I wrecked my brain on this. Drusilla or Desdemona. That’s it, that’s the top I could come up with. Drusilla Tremaine-Westergard, in my universe, to be precise.

The only other Tremaine cousin we have a canon name for is Anthony and I think it’s a perfectly fine name. Antoine if we set the story in pseudo-France.

Hadie: Hades had few children in the myths and Zagreus was the one I liked the most, that’s my reasoning. In myths, Zagreus is Persephone’s son but here it could be anyone’s, he’d still keep the Greek patronimic, so Zagreus Hadeides.

Squeaky and Squirmy Smee: those are 100% nicknames, it can’t be otherwise. In fact, in piracy, it’s pretty normal to have nicknames and aliases that are known more than regular names, like Calico Jack, Blackbeard, Big Murph and so on. The twins likely have normal names like Sullivan and Sean or something like that. In fact, their big brother is Sammy, short for Samuel, I assume, so it pretty much supports it.

Mad Maddy: while “mad“ is a mockery/title, Maddy should be short for Magda or Magdalene, but it’s used on its own too, so it’s your pick.

LeFou Deux: stupid name, like so stupid it can’t be real. Let’s pick a normal french name, like Denis LeFou, with the mockery he acts like father, they call him Le Fou Deux aka “twice as stupid”. Kids can be cruel.

Claudine Frollo: unfortunately, it’s an actual French name, but a religious zealot would maybe give her a double name, like Marie-Claudine.

Zevon and Yzla: I don’t know what to say here, I really don’t. Yzla sounds bad, that’s all I can say (but I admit Zevon has a nice ring). I accept suggestions.

AKs:

Lil’ Shang: first thing first, in China (and other Eastern countries) surnames come before names. So Li=surname Shang=name. Cleared that up, this name makes sense only as a nickname (which I hate). If we want it to start with S and an assonance with his father’s, we could pick Sheng (victory) or Shuang (clear and bright).

Lonnie: Lanying, which, mispronunciated, became Lonnie, it would make sense if said by kids first. (Fun fact: irl Lin Lanying was the name of a scientist, there’s also a Guo Lanying who is a soprano, both great women).

Herkie: oh, don’t make me start with this. This is one of the atrocious names that are clearly rip-offs of the parent’s names and I hate that. Hercules had lots and lots of children in the myths, from Megara in particular he had four: Therimachus, Creontiades, Ophitus and Deicoon. Pick whatever you prefer, I am partial to Therimachus, too difficult for Auradonians to enunciate, they started to call him Herkie as a nickname that stuck.

Tiger Peony: I’m certain I’m not the first who thinks a name like this is, like, the epitome of disrespectful. For the same reason, I admit I know nothing of the subject and ask if someone could tell what an appropriate name for her could be.

Ally: Allison Liddel (original Alice’s surname) or Kingsley (live action surname). Or another surname if she took her father’s (I am partial to the Tim Burton movies and ship Alice and the Hatter, so Allison Hightopp, but that’s just me).

Jordan: Joodah (or Joudah) meaning “generous“ or “of high qualities“ (as far as I could find, please feel free to correct me).

Artie: don’t ask me where I took it from, but in my head his full name is Arnault Pendragon (and he isn’t Guinevere’s son as Disney’s Arthur married another woman under the advice of Merlin, but this is all my headcanon).

Pin: Pinocchio’s son. Now, in Italy it is traditional to name children after parents or grandparents (I have one uncle and 5 cousins all named after my maternal grandfather and other 4 cousins after my grandmother, to say nothing of the ones who have them as middle names), so it wouldn’t be weird BUT! we don’t have names without final vowels, especially first names, in Italian, so he’d be called Pino. Which is also short for Giuseppe (Giuseppino) and I much prefer that (if they wanted to use Geppetto’s name it would have made sense too, and that he would have been nicknamed Geppettino > Tino).

Now, for the dwarves’ sons I picked German names with the same initials:

“Doc II” Dominic;

“Hap” Harold;

“Cheerful” Klemens;

“Gesundheit”/“Gus” Gustav;

“Bash” Bastian;

“Shy” Silas;

“Crabby” Conrad;

“Sleepy jr” Simon;

“Snoozy” Samuel.

Doug and Gordon are normal names and can stay.

Ruby and Anxelin Fitzherbert: I’m not even sure from where we got those names from for Rapunzel’s daughters, I seem to recall Ruby mentioned in Wicked World, maybe? Anyway, I don’t like either name. Anxelin is the name of a wine, that’s a very strange choice, and Ruby, uh, is too generic, I guess? There are so many german names to pick from, if we want to follow the pattern of same initial as the parents! Renate, Rayna, Reinheld, Richel, Roslin, Rowena... then Engelbertha, Eda, Erika, Evonne, Edith,... Just research a bit. If we really want to keep the original ones, Anxelin could be a deformation of something like Annegret or Analise, and Ruby could stand for Ruperta or Ruomhildi, although I prefer to call them Annika (same initials as Queen Arianna, Rapunzel’s real mother) and Roslin.

Opal: daughter of Mama Odie (what is it with those super-old women having teenage kids?!) can be Opal of the Bayou, I suppose. It has a nice ring, actually, although I don’t know what tie opal stones may have with voodoo.

Bobby Hood: usually, Bobby is short for Robert, which fits the area and the pattern. Robin is, at times, short for Robert, but I don’t think it’s the case here. The surname Locksley was discarded by Robin, provided it existed in the Disneyverse, but it’s worth remembering it.

He keeps doing it until he gets the courage to engulf you in a big and tight hug.

However, you'll still bombard him with physical affection when you and he would go out in public on a date.

Carlos is holding back the urge to hug you back in public because he felt like it wouldn't be so swag of him lmao

Sooner, you gained the confidence to go and give Carlos a kiss. HE'S FROZEN, LOOKS AT YOU, AND SLOWLY STARTS TO SMILE OMFG

"Did you just do that?" "Yes" "Ew...do it again"

It sealed the deal for him, Carlos would not get enough of your physical affection

He lets himself get pampered by you. Every kiss on his hands, cheeks, forehead, and lips, makes him feel so lucky and alive

Eventually, Carlos grows shameless of being pampered by you to the point his family sees it

Camilo would walk on you and Carlos cuddling, he'll hiss at Camilo like a cat when he says something about it lmao

He starts to get needy. He'll tug on your hand and give you that little pout that's irresistible.

If Carlos is dangerous and intimidating, why so cuddly? :(

Is it just me but I think Carlos would have a picture of you giving a kiss at the camera as his lock screen wallpaper? He'll open his phone and see the wallpaper and go "ah yes, the only person in the world I'll die for"

Carlos is not fond of anyone else touching him besides you.

Lmao someone would just accidentally bump into him or touch his arm and he'll go demon mode but then you'll walk into the room and with no hesitation, holds your hand and calms down

Whenever you're not in the mood to give any hugs or kisses, Carlos has it covered

He'll spoil and pamper you the way you would do it for him <333

Carlos loves to whisper sweet things but I feel like he'd sing to you and hold you in his arms like AHHHHHHHHHHH

When you two are apart or haven't seen each other in like a week or more, you two would probably do a facetime or video call and give each other kisses through the screen

The moment you two meet each other, you'll come rushing into his arms that are open wide and he'd catch you. He'll give you the warmest and most tender hug while you two rock side to side whispering "I love you"s

He gets lowkey jealous when he sees you hug someone else like a friend or family. Of course, he'll get all upset but he'll give in when you'll attack him with your love and affection

He thinks that other people hugging each other is disgusting while he's literally in your arms

When he has a bad day, he'll just come up to you with no words and crawl into your arms. You'll pull the covers over each other and just let him recharge

Descendants Headcanons/Wickedverse Guide

Some of these aren't so much "headcanons" as things I'm using in my post-canon universe, named the Wickedverse. Me and my sister share this universe, so she has a lot of influence with some of these. Will get updated as I add/change ideas.

Lore

Centuries before Auradon was formed, there was a great war between the kingdoms. After years of fighting, they made an agreement on territory and everyone closed their borders. This lead to kingdoms/cities to develop at different rates, due to different resources. Many years later, all the fairytales/stories happen over the course of seven years or so. Then, Auradon is formed.

The formation of Auradon (and the Isle) created the Age of Goodness (AOG). Upon it's creation, was year 1.

Since Descendants takes place twenty years after the AOG, it is year twenty

The first Isle book takes place in the July before Descendants. Descendants occurs in September-October (as Ben's birthday is in October), and Wicked World happens in November. The second and third Isle books take place in January of year 21. Since D2 takes place six months after D1 it occurs in March of 21. The fourth Isle book takes place in May of 22. D3, taking place after the older have graduated, occurs in June of year 22.

Some other Disney properties are included that aren't specifically mention in canon: Frozen, Frozen II, Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (TV series), Encanto, Big Hero 6, Raya, and definitely more.

Mal and Ben's wedding is on the 13th of April, almost a year after D3.

Sometime after D3, the Isle of the Lost is renamed the Isle of the Found.

Family

Uma and Freddie are twin sisters, having been separated after Dr. Facilier and Ursula broke up. Freddie and Uma were unaware of this, and found out in the events of Never Knew I Lost You (coming soon).

In addition, Celia has a different mother, an OC named Lauren.

This is also why Facilier seemed to dislike Freddie (though, her abuse portrayed in the Wickedverse is probably worse than it is in canon), as he dislikes her mother. Whereas he favored Celia, since he likes her mother. Also why Ursula didn't care much about Uma, having become despondent after losing her partner and daughter.

King Philip has three sisters, Brigitte, Bianca, and Marya, taken from the book A Twisted Tale: Once Upon a Dream by Liz Braswell. Bianca is Ariana's mother and Marya has a daughter named Naomi.

Lumiere is married to Fairy Godmother, and is Jane's father.

Evie and Dizzy have the same father, Hans, making them half-sisters.

Doug's mother, named Clarita in this universe, is from Encanto. Agustin is her maternal uncle, making him Doug's great uncle.

Jay's mother was a woman from Agrabah named Lulu. She dealt in some shady business, thus why she was sent to the Isle. She died from an illness when Jay was five.

The sea witches mentioned in the first Isle book are Morgana's daughter, and Uma's cousins, instead of sisters.

Hadie's mother is an OC named Lian Teng. She is the sister of one of the Huns that survived the avalanche. He was all she had, so she followed him to the Isle. She worked in Hades's Souvlaki and her and Hades had a brief relationship a while after his break up with Maleficent. Hadie is three years younger than Mal.

Harriet, Harry, and CJ's mother is a woman named Red Jessica from Jake and the Neverland Pirates TV series. However, she is only the same character; her role and relationship with Hook is different in the Wickedverse than the cartoon.

Carlos's father is Bruno Madrigal from Encanto (inspired by @silverloreley 's headcanon and discussions). Bruno had a bad vision about Cruella and went to warn her about it. They had an unexpected connection, and one thing led to another.

Melody (from the Little Mermaid sequel) and Zephyr (from the Hunchback of Notre Dame sequel) are married and have a (currently unamed) child.

Friendships

Prior to the events of Wicked World, and possibly D1, Jordan and Ally become best friends after Jordan helps Ally out of a bad relationship.

Jane and Freddie become best friends during the events of Wicked World.

Likewise, Uma and Audrey become best friends sometime after the events of Descendants 3.

Because of the discovery of Uma and Freddie being twins, they start spending time together. To not leave Jane and Audrey out, the four of them hang out together often, forming a friend group similar to the Core Four.

A few months before the Bal wedding, Lonnie and CJ meet and become best friends.

Characters

As a reason for why Carlos was not at Mal and Ben's wedding (and why the rest of the Core Four were sad about it), he develops COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and goes into a coma a couple weeks before the wedding. He wakes up a few weeks afterwards.

Some last name headcanons:

Dwarf last names are from gems and the Seven Dwarves' last name is Lazuli, from lapis lazuli. This makes Doug's full name Doug Lazuli.

Maleficent and Mal's last name is Dragonheart, making Mal's full name Maleficent "Mal" Bertha Dragonheart.

Ben's last name is Leroi, meaning "the king" in French (taken from @hitchell-mope)

Evie's last name is Grimhilde, mostly taken from the fandom.

Jane's last name is Faery, and Fairy Godmother's real name is Joan.

Audrey gives up her birthright to rule Auroria, deciding that isn't the path for her. Naomi will rule Auroria instead. (Which was also what they were planning to do when they thought Audrey would be queen of Auradon).

Uma becomes leader of the Isle after D3, with Harry, Gil, and her crew acting as her advisors/council/soldiers.

OCs

Varian and Cassandra (from the Tangles series) are married and have two kids, Caelan and Valeria.

Anna and Kristoff are married and two sons, Alaric and Kade.

Raya has a son named River.

Maleficent has a younger brother named Kaveh, who comes to Auradon a few years after D3 to help stop a new threat. He previously lived in the Moorlands, the ancestral home of dark fairies and Maleficent's homeland.

Ally has a (currently unnamed) older brother.

Snow White and Prince Florian have a (currently unnamed) child.

Scar (who was turned into a human before being put on the Isle) has a daughter named Safiya.

Mirabel is married to a man named Rico and they have two kids, Anabel and Matteo. Others from Encanto also have kids, but most are currently unnamed.

Identity theft is not a joke

Context:

Luka somehow got Camilo's gift (This is just an excuse to write angst and pinning)

- This is a one shot out of many that are just sitting on my notes collecting dust so I plan to one by one post them to showcase my work and what my writing looks like. Luka Cortez is my oc and main fic is on my pinned post.

Warning/s:

- electrocution by lightning and some swearing

- I headcanon that Pepa's lightning isn't deadly as much as a small zap, but bigger ones like her actual storms may be a bit dangerous to normal folks

It was funny, really. Unexpected but funny

Luka never thought upon waking up that he would be struck with a stray lightning bolt straight to the head the very first thing he stepped foot on the threshold of his best friend's house to have a relaxing, no-nonsense day.

Apparently, the fates said "fuck your plans" and went all Zeus on him. His 17 days without inconvenience dropped down to zero again.

He woke up again to find some of the Madrigal members surrounding him on a bed, a wrapped bandage around his head, and Pepa Madrigal babbling apologies with a darkening cloud looming over the room. He immediately tried to reassure her to quell in the growing storm cloud and the small hurricane in the room.

It was embarrassing at some point since they probably watched his unconscious body plop down to the floor and twitching from the aftershocks.

But the hours that followed were compensation, for somehow he got a gift! Camilo's gift, to be exact. Apparently, he had gotten struck too, but it still didn't explain how he got the gift, for it was just a theory. The rest of the Madrigals are in a state of confusion too, but hey. He survived a lightning bolt straight to the head and gained powers on the same day.

He paused on the way to the second floor when he saw a mirror just at the top of the stairs. With growing delight, he gets to see himself as a different person.

Mirabel.

His abuelo.

Isabela.

Leta.

He had fun the whole day when he showed off his own impersonation skills. He gets to feel what it's like to be dramatic as Camilo and prank as many people as possible. And generally, having fun at the same time was a bonus. But he felt something was missing.

He thought about it and realized he hadn't actually seen Carlos all day. Where could he have gone to?

Luka looked up at the mirror and immediately scared himself shitless when Carlos appeared, copying his movements. It appears he apparently shifted to Carlos subconsciously.

"Woah..."

He studied his face closely as he brushed his bangs away. Russet brown eyes that sometimes looked like red when the light hit his eyes and a constellation of freckles sat all over his face beautifully. There are three distinct moles under his left eye. Brown curls bounce in movement every time he moves.

A bewildered expression shows on Carlos' face (Luka's face?). He steps closer and understands why half of the girls in town vy for his attention despite being an asshole (he too has fallen victim to it too, not to lie). He has the Madrigal genes that made him so unfairly attractive and somehow the I-could-care-less attitude SHOULD have been a repellant but nooooo.

Luka had the dumbest decision to actually look at him and find that he's not so bad as they made him out to be and the rare moments of softness he had the courtesy to see made him lose all critical thinking skills, because here he is unabashedly staring at the mirror for who knows how long, like a damn weirdo.

Luka ignored that thought for now, because this might be an opportunity he wouldn't ever get again.

He raised his hands (Carlos'?) and saw hands that were rough and showed signs of someone who did not mind hard work. Flexing and unflexing, turning and unturning. He's mesmerized by such hands; long digits perfect for guitar or piano; and he sees a mole by the middle finger.

Huh. Neat.

Luka clasped his hands and was surprised to feel the warmth of his hands. So different to his original hands, which are in-between cold and barely warm.

He looks back at the mirror and freezes.

The reflection looking back had a lovestruck look in its face; brows in a relaxed manner, cheeks tinted red, rich brown eyes that held a soft longing look, and an expression set in an open vulnerability.

It was so...surreal. Seeing such a look coming from Carlos, even if he's aware that he's the one wearing his skin.

He realized that this could be the closest he could get to seeing it aimed at him.

And isn't that such a thought?

He didn't stray his eyes away as he placed his hands (Carlos'?...) to his face. For a brief moment, he allowed himself to just feel. For a brief moment, he closed his eyes tightly enough and hoped. For a brief moment, he hoped that it was Carlos' own hands. Carlos' own warmth holding Luka's face.

For one brief moment, he allowed himself to dream that if he opened his eyes, Carlos would be there looking and holding him tenderly instead.

The thought almost made him tear up.

"What are you doin-." "SANTA MARIA, MOTHER OF GRACE."

He whirls around quickly while shifting in-between people until he shifts to himself. Carlos stood a few feet away, looking at him weirdly.

Well, fuck.

He clutches his chest where his rapidly beating heart sounds like it's going to burst through with shock.

"Would you STOP doing that?"

"What the fuck were you doing?" Carlos rebuttals.

"Nothing!" he said, a little too loud for his taste judging by the other's annoyed look. "I wasn't doing anything."

"Talk to me with your own face idiota." Carlos tsked. "Cloudy's face isn't going to get you out of trouble, you tonto."

He thinks he's Camilo? Oh, right, he doesn't know Luka have his brother's gift.

Switching to Camilo, he tried to be casual. "I was, uh, acting—yeah! Acting. Doing that. Ya know? For funsies. And some play. I wasn't doing anything weird. Not at all... bro."

He internally cringes as his mind screams at him, on what the fuck is he doing. He was doing well impersonating Camilo a few hours ago. Now he's here acting so unnaturally.

Carlos looked at him with a brow raised that said, "Really?" Luka (Camilo) looks back with an awkward smile that's too forced.

A few seconds passed before Carlos relented. "Whatever. I've got actual important things to do than this conversation. Don't turn into me again. You know how much I hate that." With that, he descends the stairs.

"Suuure. Brother of mine, I'll stop whatever I'm doing. Because I very well know how much you hate that, ahahaha." he says awkwardly to the already distant Carlos. Luka transforms back into himself as he wipes the sweat off his forehead. Phew. Smooth as silk as always, Cortez.

Carlos just entered the kitchen when he realized that his brother didn't twirl dramatically when he shifted or that he never called him bro.

Wait.
