Career Astrology
Hey yall! Today we’re going to discuss all things related to your career because there’s way more to it then just X or Y placements.
1. Saturn placement/House + Capricorn placements/House + 10h
Saturn is the first placement we look at when it comes to long-term career, the career we plan on retiring from. It’s what your are interested in as a whole. the house it’s in can give you a better idea on the the career you want. Saturn also rules our head boss(s).
For example: Saturn Aries 12h. You will do well in a career that you are passionate about, where you can be a leader and entrepreneur, a career that motivates you. With it being in the 12h, you will do well in career that emphasize with people, you may also work well alone, this can indicate a spiritual, overseas or a creative type of career.
You see how I didn’t mention a specific career but how the energy can still play out in your life? That’s how you read this.
One Saturn Aries 12h native may be in the navy while another person with this placement may work as a Warden in a prison facility. Both placements rules those things.
- Capricorn is also a career sign because it’s ruled by Saturn. Capricorn placements and the house it rules can give you better clue on what might work for you.
For example: A Capricorn Sun may be in to the creative arts, owns a famous business or even politics. They may have their Sun in the 11h so working with a group of people in person or online.
-the 10h is ruled by Saturn and its the house Capricorn rules. This is the first thing people look at when it comes to careers. The 10h rules over your public image and how people view you. This is how you come across. It’s different than rising because that’s 1 on 1 first impression.
For example: An Aries 10h native may come across as bold, confident, and authoritative. Once you get to know them, they’re really sweet and actually shy due to them having a Cancer rising lol
2. Your MC
-now I know what you’re thinking, Kaki isn’t the MC the same as your 10h? The short answer is No, not always. MC is a point in the sky and depending on your time of birth, it doesn’t have to be in the 10h. I’ve had a few clients who had their MC in their 9h, 10h, 11h, I even had one that had a Mc 12h which was fascinating!
Your MC isn’t just careers, it’s the highest potential you can reach in this lifetime. MC 9h has the potential to reach high levels of knowledge, Mc 10h is career accomplishments, MC 11h with reaching large group of people and your wishes, and MC 12h is highest spiritual potential.
3. Venus placement/house + Taurus and Libra Houses + 2h and 7h
-Venus doesn’t get talked about when it comes to careers and it’s one of the most important ones to look at. Why? Well because Venus rules over our Salary and our Lifestyle. Everyone wants to make a decent salary to live a comfortable life, your Venus can help you achieve that when you learn to use it properly. Venus also rules over relationships so learning how to work with people.
-Taurus/2h rules over our money and investments . Wherever Taurus sits in your chart and the sign your 2h is in can help you reach whatever your financial goals are.
For example: A Leo 2h with a Taurus 11h can make money by being in the arts and by posting them online, being an actor, working with children at daycare etc anywhere career that involves you putting on a “performance” and being around lots of ppl can help.
-Libra/7h, how to work with people 1 on 1 and build those connections up. If you’re a business owner that has a business partner, this is really important for you know.
For example: A Libra 4h with Capricorn 7h native may do well with working with women, possibly from home or a smaller type of work setting that feels like home. Working with hardworking women, they may not like to miss work lol
4. Mercury Placement/house + Gemini and Virgo + 3h and 6h
-Mercury rules over daily routines and work. Saturn is the chosen Career but Mercury is the work we actually do in our career.
Quick example: You work in the Entertainment industry (Saturn) and your actual job is cinematographer (Mercury).
Another quick example You work in Law Enforcement (Saturn) but your actual Job is a Forensic Detective (Mercury).
Mercury rules over communication and how we talk to people.
Gemini/ 3h rules over communication and our co-workers who are on the same level as us. This is how we talk to to our coworkers and what we may talk to each other about. This also rules transportation and we get to work.
For example: Gemini 12h with Virgo 3h. This can manifest in a few ways. I have a friend who have this and she use to tell me how one of her coworkers had no boundaries (12h)and was touch feely (Gemini) and was nosy (Virgo 3h).
Another example: I had another friend who gives free taro readings to her co workers at her job during lunch break😅
-Virgo/6h rules our Job and Dailey routine. This can also show you how your job influence your health because Virgo and the 6h rules over our health. This also rules over coworkers but our managers and supervisors.

-aspects also hugely influence your places
-your degrees also add some influence as well

Sun in Gemini/3H is good with athletics because the 3H is a social house along with 7H and 11H. Also, most professional athletes or athletic employees learn multiple languages to tend to their teams, which are made up of people from different cultures.
Sun in Capricorn/10H careers usually take time which is why the careers I listed are mostly leadership positions. These natives are ambitious so not being in charge is not a good direction for their sun energy.

Astrology Observations: Career Edition
Aquarius risings might thrive working as data analysts or researchers because they have Scorpio in their 10th house and Virgo in their 8th house. This might also apply to Capricorn risings with a Scorpio 10th house.
Saturn in Aries natives struggle with boundaries in the workplace.
Interestingly, Moon-Mercury placements or having the Moon in Mercury-ruled signs (Gemini or Virgo) make a person more likely to be a writer. The Moon is more implicated in whether a person becomes a writer or not.
Aquarius moons or Moon-Uranus natives might work in humanitarian organizations. This is also a good placement for writers.
Dancers usually have prominent Mercury placements and aspects in their charts.
Mercury placements might also really like tinkering and working with their hands.
Having a Taurus moon makes you thrive in real estate, interior design, working with jewelry or expensive materials/objects, construction, civil engineering, and agriculture.
Virgo risings are usually very good social media managers, content creators, and bloggers, and work well in digital marketing because it combines their linguistic prowess with their analytical mind.
Jupiter in the 2nd house and having a 4th house Taurus makes you likely to make money through your voice. Combine that with Gemini placements or 3rd house planets and it makes for voice actors, singers, or narrators.
Libra risings do very well in sales because having Cancer in their 10th house gives them insight into people's subconscious drives and allows them to connect with people on a collective level to determine the trends and strategies that would best influence the masses. It makes for powerful politicians as well.
Lots of politicians have a lot of 12th house placements such as French President Emanuel Macron.
Having Gemini in the 6th house means that you could make money through ghostwriting.
Generally, if you need guidance on what you should do for your career, look at your earth houses: 2nd, 6th, and 10th houses, as well as your Saturn and Mercury placements.
Venus in Capricorn thrives when they run their own business.
Venus or Mercury in Taurus placements might succeed in opening restaurants or working in the food industry.
Mercury in Sagittarius might work as a professor, travel agent, international affairs, PR, writer, or in coaching.
Lawyers usually have 9th house placements while judges have 10th house placements.
If you have Cancer in your 7th house, you might attract clients that try to emotionally manipulate you or who might use their sensitivity against you when you are working in a strictly professional manner. They might make professional matters personal.

Astrology Observations: Career Edition
**Please remember this is from my own observation from reading charts and interacting with others. If this doesn't apply to you, that's okay!**
Sun in the 10th/11th House tend have famous career paths in the arts. (singers, actors, artists, musicians, etc) Could indicate any career in the limelight as well.
6th house Geminis may struggle with focusing on one career path. (This amplifies if Gemini is your North Node). They need variety. 6th house Geminis may freelance, own their own business, do photography, or have multiple part time jobs. They're hard workers, but they get bored easily. They need to be intellectually stimulated at all times.
Capricorn anything can aid you in career success. Especially Capricorn risings. You have the drive and the patience to see your goals through. Though, it wouldn't hurt for you to take a break once in a while.
Charts with prominent Capricorn and Sagittarius placements together can help one reach their career goals. Sagittarius gives you the charisma, knowledge, and luck you need while Capricorn gives you the patience, discipline, and determination needed.
Taurus/Libra placements (especially MC or NN): Aesthetic is everything. You may have a job in fashion/interior design/graphic design. Anything that involves aesthetics.
Prominent Cancer placements: You would do best in any conflict resolution field. Anything that allows you to use your natural nurturing nature. Be careful, though. Make sure to set clear boundaries to avoid burnout! (Especially MC, NN, Stelliums in Cancer)
Fire signs in the Sun, Mars, Jupiter, or Saturn are natural leaders and could gravitate toward management or leadership positions. Others may misperceive you as bossy, know-it-all, or rude. Ignore them. You're meant to lead.
Pluto in the 6th House individuals make good doctors/nurses/anything in the medical field. You probably have natural healing abilities.
Mutable signs or charts with heavy mutable placements can struggle following through with career goals. It's not because they're bad at it, but because they have trouble setting firm goals. They can get overwhelmed and take on too many projects at once. Their go with the flow energy can inhibit them here. Make tangible and attainable goals and take them one step at a time. Try to avoid getting sidetracked.
Alternatively, fixed/cardinal signs have way more luck with drafting their plan for their career goals. They know what they want and they'll go after it.
Mercury Conjunct Midheaven: You're more likely to work with siblings in your career or your siblings could have influence over your career in some capacity.
Virgo placements....please find a healthy work/life balance. Just because you can work yourself into the ground doesn't mean you should. Burnout can present physically in more prominent ways with Virgo. IBS/stomach problems are common with work related stress.
People with prominent placements in Scorpio/8th House/Pisces/12th house are more likely to have a career in the arts, spirituality, occult, or psychology.
Scorpio placements are well known for being great therapists, but I've also noticed they have the mind for conducting academic research. They're very analytical and do great at dissecting data. Downside? Many Scorpio placements have low self-esteem and hold themselves back from their fullest potential. If this is you, remember, there's someone out there doing what you want to be doing with waaaaaaay less skill than you. You're qualified. Aim for the stars.
Aquarius/Gemini/Libra/11th House placements may have success as a social media influencer.
North Node Trine Saturn: Good news? Saturn's influence is not as severe with this placement. You'll find less obstacles with restrictions and limitations in your career. Could point to an elder mentor or loved one that can aid you in career advice. Saturn will probably test you for self-sufficiency and patience. Remember that this is just preparing you to step into your purpose. Once you pass the lesson, career success comes easier.
Ascendant Square Mars: You may gravitate towards career paths centered around fighting injustice. You could be an advocate, social worker, politician, or work a career in policy.
MC conjunct Sun: You can rise above almost any challenge to achieve success in your career. .
Libra risings/Mercury/NN/MC get a lot of opportunities from networking. These can lead their career to big places. This is due to their natural talent for connection.
North Node Square Venus: You could have talents that present in childhood that you're really good at. No one may have taught them to you, you could just know how to do it. This can be indicative of a talent from a past life. This could influence your potential career path.
Moon in the 6th House can cause distress related to career. Job hopping may be prevalent for you and the stress from work can affect your health. Take care of yourself!
Jupiter in the 6th house is FANTASTIC for your career. Look to the house and sign to determine what areas may be best for you to pursue. Travel related to job is prevalent here.

MC in Aries
Individuals with this placement have a life path to walk to putting their real identity on display, showing people their way of live, dealing with and resolving situations, often being ahead of movements, plans, projects, due to their leadership ability and initiative.
These are individuals who have the mission and choice to engage with topics that often require solutions, decisions, and sometimes quick actions, given Aries' ability to deal with more 'immediate' situations, as it is something they already tend to handle in their energetic nature.
Although people believe it to be something "me and myself," because we are talking about the first sign, which theoretically would be more connected to self-issues, the path of those with Midheaven in Aries is, in reality, a path that will involve and demand the development of their Libra side, their inner house (Imum Coelli = 4th house, the house naturally opposite to the Medium Coeli, which is the 10th house), which must be as if in order to be able to develop their career issues well.
Therefore, for Aries to appear in public life, career, etc., in a healthy way, it is important that the person internally takes care of their relationship with themselves, accepting their Libra internal needs for vulnerability, exchange, affection, sensitivity, so that they know that the best Aries is the one who sees the value in being an example, who expresses their identity with confidence and without authoritarianism or control, rigidity.

Im so lost. I recently got into astrocartography inorder to find where should I move for university, a place where my career is at peak. But I can't seem to understand what is going on :pp

Last and this year has been very hard on me because of that I wasn't able to join university making me take a gap year and another. But now that i got the chance hop back into my studies and work hard, I don't want to waste this opportunity. 🧟♀️While the first might be the mother's sun
🧞♂️A lot of Libras are bullied or talked about because of their noses.
🧞♂️A post from @d4rkpluto got me thinking about names and astrology.
I've noticed all the signs have a specific link to certain types of names. And even the house the name (if there is an asteroid linked to it) can signify the reason why you have that name.
Im mainly talking about big three, but the house that holds the ruler of your acsedent also counts.
Aries- Names about being strong, a leader, and important war time names (generals, leaders, soldiers etc)
Libra- Love and being loved by many/popularity (also a link to Religious figures/themes and their names)
Taurus- Beauty, homely, vanity
Scorpio- Death/Rebirth, Night, Darkness/Dark
🧞♂️I think the "Scorpio adjacent" asteroid/planets feel really at home in the water/earth houses

🧟♀️Kaali:
I truly believe Kaali is most comfortable in the 4th house. Kaali Ma herself is related to motherhood, beginnings/endings, and destruction. Those are all also themes of the fourth house, especially the womb phase of life.
🧟♀️Pluto:
Now I know some might think Pluto is most comfortable in the 8th house, I think the 10th is truly the house for Pluto. The themes of Pluto include power, recognition, permanent change and death. If you think about it the house of the public eye fits exactly this. You grow out of your younger self (death/permanent change).
🧟♀️Sirene:
I think this one is obvious. Yes its 12th house and I don't think I have to explain it but ya know.. I will. I mean sirens use their voice to convince you to listen to them, the same way your subconscious uses it's "thoughts" to guide you through life. They could bring down whole ships just by whispering something similar to how your whole perspective can change based off of experiencing something.
🧟♀️Nymph:
I believe that the 8th house is the best house for Nymph. Its about being hidden and having certain types of seductive qualities for personal gain. And the 8th house is about inheritance (idk why its not talked about more). Nymphs are also protectors of those who can't protect themselves.
🧞♂️I've noticed a lot of Scorpios work in childcare. And they also make some of the best teachers. Idk why people don't mention Scorpios in terms of childcare more. Not the risings... The suns and moons...
🧞♂️Idk why I just noticed this but Pisces tend to have a lisp. Also Neptunians, idk why its just something I've heard more and more lately
🧞♂️Convinced that Gemini and Sag celebrities don't have PR teams they just be saying anything. Literally rocks for brains and an ass for a mouth.
🧞♂️In terms of Venusians and their voices/sound. Libras tend to have more of a high and heady voice while Taureans have a more deep and gut sounding voice. Both are pleasing to the ear, just different ways. (Pretty much Libras talk with their head/noses- airy, Taurus talk with their gut/diaphragm- earthy)
🧞♂️Mercurials can be broken down the same way. Geminis have more flowy and sharp voices while Virgos have a stable and muted voices. {Virgos- talk with their chest (they take deeper breaths and use all the "breathing" parts). Geminis- talk with their lungs (hence the sharpness they have to take more breaths)}
🧞♂️I've seen Geminis confused for Scorpios. Mainly ones with Tone/Sirene/Nymph in the 8th house or Scorpio. I've seen Scorpios confused for Geminis mainly those with Sag Mercury/Viv/Young in Gemini(...not the Mercury one)/3rd house.
🧞♂️Drama wise this is how the earth signs are:
Capricorn- The one who "caused" the drama by calling you out. Virgo- the one trying to soothe the situation because "you are giving me a headache with all that yelling". Taurus- Watching all of it happen because"couldn't be me"
🧞♂️Venusians tend to have some interest/ degree in psychology. It doesn't matter if its occupational, clinical or child. They love learning about relationships/interactions with others.
🧞♂️Scorpio children act like what you think a Sag adult would act like until their first Saturn square, then they are the "moody" stereotype
🧞♂️Honestly the first Saturn square should be talked about more, that's literally when one's personality is formed and finalized. That's when kids no longer are super attached to their parents and realize they are an individual.
🧞♂️That second Saturn square should also be more discussed. It makes sense that when people either mature or factor reset mentally. You no longer just question parents and realize your individuality, you question what the fuck is the point of anything and what are you doing that actually matters. Makes sense tattoos would be commonly obtain around this time period.
🧞♂️The sign/house that holds your Chiron can definitely tell you what sign you don't get along with.
🧟♀️If its not obvious... Mine is in the 9th house and the way I've been done so dirty by Sags (especially ones of a different background than me), just.... I'd rather not. We can be friends and that's it.
🧞♂️Another Chiron note, you might be able to find more healing in the opposite house of the placement and when using the methods of the sign in that house.
🧟♀️Gemini Chiron in the 5th house might finding healing in foreign schools/ ideologies (Sag) because their friends and the internet (11th house) told them about it. Yet they struggle in their casual relationships/intimacy (5th house) because their communication (Gemini) skills aren't the best.
🧞♂️As a Libra+Scorpio combo, I can tell you now, no I don't care what you think about me but do you like my dress? In all seriousness there is a certain level of concern with aesthetic but a lack of concern regarding peoples opinion about non aesthetic matters.
🧞♂️Aquarians scare me. You can't think that behavior is okay. You can't tell me you okay with it either 😐

🧟♀️My mom is a Cap moon and went to law school (dont ask me why) and worked as a receptionist at a law firm.
🧞♂️ One of my fire sign mutuals said "something about fire signs and just talking, could be wrong and will keep fucking talking". Long story short I agree, being a fire sign is putting your foot in your mouth and chewing.
🧞♂️You can kinda tell a artist's sun sign especially musicians by their cover art.
🧞♂️Went to check where Aries is located in my SR chart and of course its my 6th house with a retrograde Uranus. If you wondering why I brought that up, I slammed my head in to a metal wall and have an concussion :"). And yes I was coming from work. And yes it was on my birthday

Hey I have a question, can you explain aspect Neptune Conjunction X MC, isn’t it like an aspect having a hard time figuring out future careers and such?
I have many interpretations of this aspect (Natal one as well as Transit) so I will list them here:
Neptune-Midheaven conjunction or Neptune in the 10th House
You can be drawn to a very creative field, something that requires inspiration, artistry. Neptune is the planet of illusion so many artists can have this aspect. As a transit it could show a period when you are more creative in your professional field, start new projects, incorporate a more personal/creative touch to what you do.
Neptune also represents sacrifice so it could mean that your career will be something that requires sacrifice or putting back other areas of your life. If it's a transits it's a temporary period.
The Neptune-Midheaven conj. or Neptune in the 10th house can show a career in the medical or healing field. More connected to physical healing than mental imo.
The Neptune-Midheaven conj./Neptune in the 10th House can also show a sense of feeling lost/distanced from your professional dreams and ambitions. It could come off as loss of motivation, lack of direction, etc. - just not knowing what to do next. As a Transit it could be a challenging period.
