Football Player Katsuki + Marching Band Girlfriend
Like all his stupid friends here, he met you at UA University Freshmen Orientation — Group 1-A. The same group of eclectic college kids that are around today all hanging out between the Varisty Sports and Spirit Teams. Still doesn’t understand how you all managed to be put together like that. Katsuki sees you regularly ever since then. Football Player Katsuki who sees you sitting in the university cafeteria sitting with Squeaky, Tape Arms, and Round Cheeks all smiles and giggles or all slouched and complaining. And on game days when he’s got the time he and some of the team go over and sit with y’all. Because Kirishima is real good friends with those two woodwind idiots— so Bakugou initially just gets dragged along. Football Player Katsuki Who always send a big wink and grin your way as he’s running through the tunnel before the start of the game. Who compliments your playing to the rest of the team and the compliments spread like wildfire back to your director and now you’re yelling back about “Katsuki stop complimenting my playing by name. Director Yamada keeps putting me on tunnel duty — at this point he’s gonna make it a permanent thing!” And Katsuki always shrugs watching the way you’re fighting a smile, instrument in hand, but he loves it when you do the pre-game mini pep tunnel thing with him. Always gets the chance to take a pre-game (pre pregame) photo with you. All color-coordinated with his jersey and your marching uniform. Football Player Katsuki Always standing on the sidelines with the other big players Midoriya, Todoroki, and Kirishima as y’all set up for pregame. The four of them taking the time to watch what y’all are doing — even if it’s the same each time. And if he’s part of kick off then he KNOWS he’s about to be running towards y’all as you scramble off the field. And he’s barreling towards the sidelines when he spots you in the crowd. Always making goofy faces at you when he slows down: big old monster hands and downright terrifying snarl of his canines and molars, but LIVES to see you smile bright when you notice him — fellow section members now knowing him by look slapping you on the lapels to grab you attention. For Katsuki to then mime a couple clicks of a paparazzi camera back at you. sauntering over with the rest of his team back to the sideline with a faint shout of “ — you looked good!” Leaves you with a section full of snickers and teases when you’re in the stands.
Football Player Katsuki who steps on your toes all the time for these dangerous and unorthodox training schemes that his denfensive coach Aizawa comes up with. Your director Yamada somehow agreeing to letting the entire defensive team zig-zag through the marching bands box-drill warm-up. Coach Aizawa doesn’t even regulate everyone to specific sections of the “drill” — which is what you band kids read and walk everyday. He lets the team run their laps beforehand to limber up and Bakugous sharp red eyes are always watching as you’re coaching your section on the whole drill. The angst on you and his friends faces makes him wince espically when the drills starts — it’s like a mazey hell of some kinda freaky spooky mind-control shit bc you’re all moving the exact same — and also not.
Bakugou’s a big guy — tall shoulders, broad shoulders, and pretty jacked — and so is the rest of the team. And Bakugou always ends up in your section of the drill: the team and marchers absolutely scared out of their wits. And luckily y’all have your stinking movements memorized for all these turns bc you always end up turning smack dab into his chest — at least once (and no y’all do not have instruments that’d be irresponsible on Director Yamada’s part) — and then being able to maneuver around him with a beaming grin and a polite little shove into a safe spot always pausing in chanting the numbers to say, “better luck next time babe!” 7- 8. And when it’s said and done you and his friends will skip over to him and Kirishima. All laughing and comparing tallies of how many people got in your way — and he can feel his ears steaming with the way you playfully punch his shoulder and say that he’s “always on your dot” whatever the hell that means. Football Player Katsuki who practically has your little band songs memorized for all his plays. And he makes a lot of touchdowns — always waiting on that delayed cheer of your voice coming from the band stands afterwards
— always looking up waiting for your delayed smile and wave, bc you were busy fighting down a smile while playing and dancing to the fight song for the touchdown he just made.
you, Round Cheeks, Squeaky, and Tape Arms always bursting into a song and singing your parts to some band kids tunes whenever some particular trigger word falls from someone’s mouth in conversation.
Like his number? 17? He can’t get past the Seven part because Uraraka starts wailing on an imaginary horn singing the low brass line while you and the two woodwind nerds start throwing down some funky dance moves.
and he hates himself when he’s taking a break on the sidelines and him and current benchwarmer Shinsou start humming some little ditty when Midoriya and Kirishima make a first down on the field. The two of them sharing concerned glares before staring up at y’all laughing and wailing just down the way. “We never speak of this again, got it?” “Got it.”
Football Katsuki whom you always pass on your way to set-up for pregame. The man always covered in dirt and grime with his hairband pushing back his blonde bangs. The little stereotypical thick black paint smudged across his face as you pass by him with a gentle little hand to the back. And he turns around with those red eyes accentuated by those big black smears and gives you a grinning smile. Always attempting to peck his gf’s cheek before you go into place and you always taking a step back with a teasing giggle, “can’t right now ‘Suki I’m in uniform.” And you love watching his nose scrunch and his eyes flutter open, lips still pucked as you blow him a kiss. The student going crazy because the camera man has caught onto y’all a few times. Suki’ always crossing his arms and rolling his eyes shouting “break a leg!” As you prepare. Football Player Katsuki who waits around with his mates before he sees you run over to him. You and your friends now changed into regular clothes and ready to head home and shower. After he’s just helped win the whole thing and you’re walking, stomping, staggering over to him in shambles and you come up and dodge HIS KISS??! Always whining and pointing an accusatory finger like “Suki’ you made my lips hurt!” And he’s always like baby how?? And you’re like too many good touchdowns. I had to play the fight song too many times :(
Has his mates howling!!! 👏 he just doesn’t understand :((
Football Player Katsuki who also makes that adorable scrunchy face of confusion when you flip-flop between telling him that’s he’s gonna help take the team all the way to the championship!! And then you pulling back with a fearful face and whispering, “but then I have to go to finals. I have to play at finals. I have to be on the band bus to get to finals.” And he chuckles and naively says oh it can’t be that bad. Only to get a genuine slap to his arm as you glare up at him “never say that again.” A dark energy he can only explain as marching band trama when he sees your frantic pleas of a text when he tells you he’s about to reach the point in the flight where he’s gotta put his phone up. He believes you when y’all show up days later at the venue. All smelly, all angsty, all hangry from the drive over. Has him cooing over you as you mumble and grumble waiting in line with an equally agitated Round Cheeks and Ponytail as the band waits for its 400 or so members to be given room keys. A total sunshine/dark cloud reversal. Always shakes his head at Dance/Cheer Team Friend Mina who’s already been here the same amount of time he has. Short pink curls bouncing over to ask how it’s been only to see everyone else with glare as if her cheery attitude is a death wish. Immediately cowering behind him and cooing and fretting over y’all band kids just the same seriously what happened to y’all? Doesn’t matter, y’all won’t answer. The band bus is still the band bus even in college. Football Player Katsuki who helps drive/walk you home afterwards again getting a flimsy puffy and chapped lipped peck at your door after every game. Being incredibly dramatic as insists he’s in “kiss withdrawal” when you don’t kiss him the next day because your lips are still recovering. LIVES for the day-after when you’re all better. And you finally give him a good fixing of those kisses he’s been missing out on. And he looks so smitten with all your invisible chapstick lip stains and little mosquito pecks; absolutely adorable. And you can’t help but roll your eyes when he pouts up at you, blinking those thick lashes. “Still in a tremendous deficit!” He nods eagerly as you rolls your eyes and start smooching every corner and curve of his face again. Laughing between kisses “seriously suki’ it hurts! you don’t understand”
you’re right he doesn’t, but luckily he’ll wait for his victory kisses. Doesn’t ever wanna put you in more pain after a game day 🥺

Sometimes Friends Suck
A/N: Hey guys. I haven’t been around in a while lol. Sorry. Life’s been kicking me in the rear, and I’ve had nonstop marching band for 3 weeks now. 3 more weeks to go! *silently dies inside* but it’s ok because we are placing really well and making a lot of progress.
Anyway, this little piece is based off of what has happened to me this week with one of my so-called friends. She hurt me a lot, so I wrote it out in hopes of helping me feel better.
Tumblr media
“By the way, we’re planning on meeting at my place on Sunday to play Cards Against Humanity and watch (least favorite movie),” Izuku informed you. The two of you were studying in the common room after dinner, just the two of you. “We talked about it during lunch. I wanted to let you know.” You often have lunch in Aizawa’s classroom. It was much quieter and it gave you time to decompress and relax.
“You lost me after (least favorite movie),” you chuckled. “I refuse to watch it.”
“It’s just going to be a background noise while we play cards,” Izuku smiled. “Cause we all agree. That movie sucks. That’s why we’re watching it. To make fun of it.”
You sighed, smiling back. “I guess I’ll be there. I love cards.”
The next day, a few members of the deku squad were talking about the movie night. You were sitting with Ochako and Yayurozu during downtime in class, listening to them talk.
“Yeah, and now we’re going to dress up as the characters we assign you from (least favorite movie),” Ochako said.
“Oh, I don’t wanna do that,” Yayurozu said hesitantly. “I’m not bit on dressing up as (least fav. Character from movie).’
“Oh, come on!”  Ochako groaned with a smile, the way girls do when they try to get their way. “It’ll be fun!”
You gave your opinion, chiming into the conversation. “Yeah, I’m not doing that either.”
Ochako whipped around to you, an annoyed look on her face. “Then don’t go!” she said quickly. There was something about her tone of voice that hurt you. You tried to explain that you wanted to go, but that you didn’t want to dress up. She didn’t let you, cutting you off 2 more times with the same “Then don’t go!”, each one harsher than the last.
“Fine then, I won’t go,” you muttered quietly, crossing your arms and ducking your head. Ochako’s words stung, leaving you feeling down and unwanted. You stood from your seat and walked away, spending the day in silence.
It was dark now, the sun had set hours ago. You retreated to your dorm room when the final school bell rang. Your friends tried to ask you to go out to eat with them, but you just kept walking back to the dorms.
You were sitting at your desk, attempting to do your calculus homework when you received a notification on your phone. Your friends had been texting in the group chat and you had ignored them, but this was a different notification. It was a Snapchat message from Izuku.
Hulk 2.0: Hey, are you ok? You’ve been really quiet today. Did something happen?
Me: I’m alright. Someone just said something to me today and it kinda hurt.
Hulk 2.0: I’m sorry. Who was it? What did they say?
Me: Don’t worry about it. I’m probably overthinking it anyway.
Me: And I don’t think I’ll be coming over for that movie anymore
Tears welled up in your eyes as you pressed send, turning off your phone and getting back to work. You wrote out the math problem on your desk in dry erase, quickly solving it and typing the solution into your computer. Then you erased your work and got another notification from Izuku.
Hulk 2.0: So it was someone in the friend group? You don’t have to tell me who it was, but can you at least tell me what they said?
Me: Yeah, it was someone in the friend group. Basically they told me not to go in a really mean way. And so I don’t want to go if they don’t want me there. I want them to have a good time and I don’t want to ruin it.
There was a long period of time between your message and Izuku’s next one. He must have been sending a long one.
Hulk 2.0: N/N, I promise you wouldn’t ruin anything. They shouldn’t have said that to you. That’s just rude. They didn’t have the right. Besides, it’s at my place so I get the final say on whether or not you get to go. You’re allowed to go. We want you there. I want you there. It wouldn’t be the same without you.
You were crying now. You hated how Ochako’s words hurt you. How they made you feel this way. You had experienced similar situations with her in the past, and each time hurt you more than the last.
Me: Izu, don’t worry about it. I don’t like (least fav. movie) anyway. You’d all just have to listen to me complain about it anyway.
Hulk 2.0: Listen, I usually don’t get frustrated like this. I’m putting my foot down. Y/N, you’re coming over on Sunday and watching this with us. We were actually trying to come up with ways to convince you to go. I don’t know if you’ll tell me who said these things to you, but they shouldn’t have. They shouldn’t have made you feel so unwanted. You’re going. That’s final.
You wiped your eyes and typed out a quick: If I can make it.
Izuku responded: thank you. I love you <3
The next day, you stayed away from your group of friends. Ochako was always there, and you didn’t have the energy to deal with her today. So you stayed to yourself, making the occasional conversation with Denki and Kirishima. You went about your day, and stayed in Aizawa’s classroom when lunch rolled around.
Shinsou joined you for lunch today. He was still fairly new to class 1-A and didn’t quite know who to sit with at lunch, and he liked you enough to not mind being with you.
“You’ve been quiet lately,” he commented quietly. “Did something happen?”
You sighed, turning your phone off and setting it on Aizawa’s desk. “Yeah, one of my so-called friends said some not nice stuff to me yesterday.”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” Shinsou said with a small frown. “Do you wanna talk about it?” You and Shinsou had a weird relationship. You never really hung out outside of school, but trusted each other enough to go to the other about certain things.
“Remember how I said I don’t really like Ochako?” you asked him. The indigo-haired man nodded, taking a bite of his lunch. “Well, the friend group is getting together at Izu’s this weekend to watch (Least fav. movie) and to play Cards Against Humanity,” you started. “I originally wasn’t going to go because I despise that movie but I really want to hang out with them, so I was gonna go.”
“Then somebody said something?” Shinsou asked, a small reminder that he was listening to you intently.
You nodded. “Yeah. Yesterday, Ochako was telling Momo that we have to dress up as the character they assign us as. And I said that I didn’t want to do that. Why would I want to dress up as a character I’ve never seen from a movie I hate?”
“Right,” Shinsou agreed.
“Then Ochako told me not to go, but there was almost, I don’t want to say hatred, but hatred in her voice. And when I explained that I wanted to go, she kept interrupting me telling me not to go.” Tears brimmed your eyes and you wiped them away. “God, I hate her.”
“She shouldn’t treat you this way,” Shinsou comforted, placing a hand on your knee. “But do whatever makes you most comfortable. You shouldn’t have to go if you don’t want to.”
You sniffed and wiped at your nose, offering Hitoshi a soft smile. “Thanks, Shinsou.” The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. The two of you made your way out of Aizawa’s office and to your desks, getting ready for class.
You were working on a science project with Todoroki when you received a text message from Ochako.
Ochako: Hey I just wanted you to know that I wasn’t trying to sound as if we didn’t want you to be at…
You read the preview before standing and making your way over to Shinsou, who was working on his project with Denki.
“Look at this shit,” you whispered, opening the text to read with him.
Ochako: Hey, I just wanted you to know that I wasn’t trying to sound as if we didn’t want you to be at the (least fav. movie) thing I just didn’t want you to feel forced into going if you didn’t want to because I know that would have made me feel upset if you weren’t having fun. I’m looking forward to it and your (least fav. character) costume. :) (If you don’t know who that is, google might be your friend… good luck ;) )
“Is this from her?” he asked, taking the phone from your hands.
“Yeah.”
He looked at you with a raised eyebrow as he handed you your phone back. “Sounds fake if you ask me. I bet someone figured out she was the one you were talking about and she just wrote this because they made her feel bad.”
“That’s what I was thinking,” you responded. “Should I text her back or leave her on delivered?”
Shinsou took a moment to think. “Leave her on delivered. Don’t waste your time with it.”
You nodded and smiled slightly. “Will do. Thanks, Shinsou.”
“Anytime.” You went back to your seat and got back to work with Todoroki on your project.
At the end of the day, you were laying in bed, relaxing before you fell asleep. You opened up Shinsou’s Snapchat, sending him a photo with a message.
Me: She’s in my 7th period, and she didn’t even say anything to me. You think she’d at least apologize in person or say something about it, but no. She just stared at me, trying to make eye contact. She looked as if I was the one who was supposed to say something. God I hate her.
A moment later, Shinsou responded with his own image and message. You could see his messy purple hair sticking out of the hood of his hoodie, as well as his shoulder.
Shinsou: I’m sorry :( Like I said, she shouldn’t have said anything to you. Just ignore her. Let her come to you. Let me know if you need anything.
You sighed, replied a quick ‘will do’, and turned off your phone. Ochako’s words still hurt you, and you made up your mind. You weren’t going to go to the movie night. You aren’t going to put yourself through it. You plugged your phone in and fell asleep, tears silently streaming down your cheeks.

Happy Halloween!!!
A/N: I did some research and Halloween is celebrated in Japan during the summer (August/September) as a celebration of the spirits and then in the fall (October) as a huge costume party! They don't really go trick or treating but we won't be doing that today.
Warning: This short story will contain depictions of underaged drinking
You pat down the black tulle skirt and straightened up your blouse, the deep cut felt revealing but that's what you wanted. It was time to grab Todoroki’s attention, you thought surely one of you had to make a move soon after months of back and forth. Your thoughts and insecurities ran wild, spiraling as you kept questioning yourself.
Was my skirt too short? Maybe Shoto hasn't made a move cause he isn't interested? Then why would be give me chocolates? My thighs are showing an awful lot, is that okay? Oh, I'm so confused and anxious now. I can't possibly wear this, my breasts look provocative, what kind of message is that going to send to my classmates? What kind of message is that going to send to him?
You put a hand to your chest and took a deep breath, the warmth of your palm giving you a sense of calm. No, no. Don't do this, don't freak out at the last minute. You didn’t want to chicken out so soon, you had already promised Jiro you'd be there, and she's super nervous about this party too. She had come up to you earlier this morning, something was clearly on her mind the way she looked down at her hands and feet, her mind seemed to be clouded. Jiro asked you if you were going to the party, at the time you weren't quite sure yet, but when she said she might not go because she was nervous you knew the two of you had to be each other's support buddy going in. Tonight you and Jiro would walk in that party together and stay as long as you possibly could. You knew that wasn’t all that was on her mind though, but you didn’t want to pressure her into telling you the real reason why she didn't want to go to the party. Even after you agreed to go with her, she still seemed uneasy. You stared at yourself in the mirror, the black tulle skirt cinched around your waist creating an hourglass effect on your body. You paired it with a black low-cut frilly blouse with a deep v only connected by strands tied into a bow, as well as long knee-high black and orange striped socks, with a black witch hat with an orange bow. You finished up the look with some orange eyeshadow, thick eyeliner, mascara, black matte lipstick, and tiny little eyeliner hearts on your cheekbones. As you stood back from your mirror you shook your head, trying hard to resist the urge to take a makeup wipe and just wipe it all off. Your thoughts began to spiral again, I can't do it, I can't go out to that party looking like this, no one can possibly make me go out now- A gentle ping brought you out of the spiral, your phone screen was alight with a single text notification.
Jiro: You ready? I'm a couple of minutes away from your place.
You started a couple of messages with "I'm not feeling good.", "I don't think I can go anymore.", and "My outfit got ruined at the dry cleaners.". You deleted your last message and threw the phone on your bed. Frustrated with yourself, you decided to grab your things and make your way downstairs before you could have a moment to change your mind. You tucked your things into your waistband as you shuffled down the steps of your home, dreading the moments that led up to going to the party. You thought maybe if you walked really quickly without thinking, your brain wouldn’t catch up to what you were doing and then you could go to the party. It was wishful thinking on your part because as soon as you went to grab your loafers your resolve began to crumble. Before you could chicken out, you pulled your phone out to message Jiro. If you sent a message implying you were going, then you had to go. Right?
Me: I'm heading out the door right now, I just need to put on my shoes.
You stepped into a pair of black platform loafers and laced them up, stuffing your phone in your handbag on its hook. The remainder of your belongings found their way into your bag, shouldering it on as you began to make for the door. As you opened up the door you were greeted by Jiro, who was preparing to ring the doorbell.
"Ope!" She muttered in surprise.
"Hey, Jiro!" You said with feigned enthusiasm and a sigh. "Ready to go?"
"Ready as I'll ever be," Jiro said, matching your energy.
Standing outside the Yaoyorozu Residence felt surreal. It doesn't matter how many times you had been invited over for study groups, tea parties, or just to hang out, you could never get used to being outside such a nice and huge home. You walked in with Jirou expecting everything to be quiet and calm with typical Halloween decorations. Instead, you found black lights mounted on the molding highlighting the neon decorations on the walls. Fake spider webs hang convincingly above in the space between the ceiling and the walls. Music was bumping from everywhere, including the formal sitting room. It looked like everyone from your year was there, and then some. The place was crowded with students from U.A. that you recognized. Your eyes did a quick survey of the land to see if I could find Izuku or Iida hanging around but didn't seem to find them immediately.
While you were distracted, Momo snuck up on you and Jirou who had also been admiring the decorations. Momo jumped up behind the two of you as you peeked into the parlor, screaming boo and slamming her hands on your back. The two of you jumped and turned to see the mischievous gleam in her eyes, she giggled and settled into a wide grin.
"(Y/N)! Jiro!" Momo beamed, "I'm so glad you two could make it!"
"I'm glad we could too!" Jiro feigned an excited tone, she still seemed a little anxious but about as equally excited.
"We have snacks and drinks in the kitchen, and more in the dining room. If you're looking for different kinds of drinks," Momo said slyly, shoving a thumb in the direction of the next room, "There's some in the living room."
"Uh, Momo, can you show me to the bathroom again?" Jiro asked, "Your home is so big I always forget where it's at."
"Of course!" Our gracious host exclaimed. The pair walked off together, leaving you alone at the entrance hall of Momo’s home.
You waded your way through the crowd and found yourself in the living room. Maybe some people I'd know would be there, I could think of a handful of people that would probably be drinking alcohol, You thought. As you made your way past a handful of familiar faces from other classes, you greeted them and swiftly moved on. You looked around the living room to find a majority of your classmates, including Izuku and Uraraka. Izuku was sitting on the arm of the couch trying to maintain his balance with an orange plastic cup in his hand. Uraraka sat opposite him in a loveseat, quietly sipping on her purple plastic cup while gazing at him with a sparkle in her eye. Katsuki was sprawled out on a wide plush armchair about the size of a loveseat sipping from his cup as Kirishima, sitting on the arm of his chair, talked to him loudly about who knows what. Kirishima looked up and over at you as you rushed towards them. Normally you wouldn't do anything like this, throwing yourself into the arms of a boy, but Katsuki was the only one you felt doing that kind of stuff with. The two of you were close-no, best friends. Obviously, you’d be comfortable goofing off with him. Kirishima jumped out of the way as you threw yourself and landed in Katsuki's lap. The impact of your body against his made him drop some of his drink on the two of you. You laughed as he looked down at you in his lap with a sneer.
"Hey, Kacchan!" You teased him with the pet name, as you fidgeted around to be in a more comfortable position. You were still in his lap with your legs dangling over the arm of the couch, so his face looked strange looking down on you the way he was. "Looks like you’ve been pretty thirsty."
"You owe me another one, asshole." Katsuki shook his head with a twinge of a smile. You smiled back and nodded.
"Absolutely, that only seems fair," You picked yourself up from his lap and got off the couch, leaving your palm out to him to pull him up with you, "Let's go get you that... What were you drinking?" You pulled your hand back and pulled the blouse to your nose trying to detect the beverage from the smell.
"It was just Fruit Punch," Katsuki said as you smelled the shirt. "It's in the kitchen, come on."
The two of you wadded through the crowd and found your way over to the kitchen. You grabbed a cup and poured the two of you some punch.
"So what are you supposed to be?" Katsuki asked, sipping on his drink as he eyed your outfit. His tongue and throat stung as the alcohol trailed down, between his last cup of juice and now someone had spiked the punch. Katsuki’s lips twitched at the sudden taste and thought to warn you until he remembered you dropped your juice on the two of you just moments before.
"I'm a witch, I just kind of threw it together last minute." You said, tugging on the edge of the skirt and flattening it back out. The edge of the cup teased your lips, but you drew it back down as you fiddled with your outfit. Katsuki drew a breath as he waited patiently for you to drink your beverage. "It was either that or maybe my hero costume, I thought that'd be funny."
"Your new one or the old one?" Katsuki leaned back against the counter, his arms crossing over his chest.
"Ah you do pay attention," You said with a smirk, "The new one, of course."
"I like that one a lot more than your first one," Katsuki said, his eyes flashing between you and the cup in your hand as it raised to your lips finally. "I think it's more, you, ya know?"
"I guess, yeah," You shrugged as you took a swig of the punch. You gagged as you swallowed the fruit punch, the beverage burning your throat as it went down. "Oh this is, someone did something to this."
Katsuki laughed at you as he took on another swig of the punch, "Yeah of course they did, it's a high school Halloween party. We may be growing up to be heroes but we got to have a little fun somewhere in there."
You shook your head and continued drinking the punch more slowly. "Anyways, have you seen Shoto?"
"Nah, not yet," Katsuki said, a twinge of annoyance in his voice. "I don't think he's going to show up though."
"Why's that?" You asked.
"I remember him mentioning something like his family only celebrates in the summer," Katsuki shrugged, "He probably doesn't celebrate, like, the American Halloween or whatever you want to call it."
"Oh," You said with a tinge of disappointment in your voice. The last half of the spiked punch went smoothly down as you chugged the remainder, "Well, looks like I'm empty."
You filled the cup up more than you should've and knocked back most of the punch before Katsuki could reach over and pull it back some. You stopped drinking and looked at him, not saying a word. You didn't want him to know how disappointed you were that Shoto wasn't there. You’ll see him at school this week but you wanted to talk to him about something.
"Hey, want to go back to the others? We were going to play truth or dare before you came storming in, screaming like a banshee." Katsuki said sarcastically.
"Yeah, let's go back," You rolled your eyes and gave him a smirk.
"So, Uraraka, Truth or Dare?" Mina said across from her on the big couch.
"Um, I'm going with dare." Uraraka said boldly, sitting up straight with a determined look in her eye.
"I dare you too..." Mina looked around the room, her eyes glistening once she spotted an untouched karaoke machine in the corner nearest to the fireplace. "I dare you to sing in front of everyone!"
"Oh-I-uh, don't know anymore, can I change to the truth?" Uraraka stuttered.
"Nope! You gotta sing in front of everyone!" Mina said, "Once you've picked that's it! Now go!"
Uraraka's eyes flashed around the group and landed on Izuku, the nervous look in her eyes only got worse. Quickly you stood up and made your way over to her, you couldn’t let her do it alone, especially when she looked scared to death.
"I'll do it with you, come on," You whispered low enough that only she could hear. "Don't worry if it's bad, he's going to love it anyways."
Uraraka's eyes locked into yours, she looked even more scared now. "How'd you kno-"
"It's a little obvious to everyone else," You eyed the circle of peers, "To him maybe not, but to be honest, and I don't know if I should tell you this or not, he used to have a little crush on you when we started this year."
Her cheeks turned red, but a smile grew on her face. The two of you made your way over to the karaoke machine and started searching for a song. The two of you settled on a pretty widely know older 80s pop song, one you hoped would appease the masses if all else went wrong. As the two of you sang your hearts out in the typical karaoke fashion, everyone laughed, clapped, and cheered you on. It wasn't bad singing, but it wasn't exactly good. You looked over to Katsuki who had a small grin on his face. You made an ugly face at him as you sang and he flicked you off with his free hand.
Once the song finished Uraraka and you joined your friends back on the couches. It was Uraraka's turn to ask a question, as her eyes flashed around everyone in the group she landed on you. Oh god, come on, please nothing stupid hard or embarassing. You thought. I just helped you.
"Akina," Uraraka said, "Truth or Dare?"
"Hum, Truth," I sighed, better than dare, what could she possibly ask me that would make me regret this?
"Is it true that you have a crush on Todoroki Shoto?" Uraraka said. You felt as if your head was burning up from the dozen eyes staring. Next to you Katsuki tensed up, his stomach lurching in anticipation for your answer. Surely everyone didn't already know I had a crush on him, right? Was it that obvious? You thought, looking up at everyone, then to Uraraka.
"Yes, it is," You sat back and crossed your arms over your chest.
"I knew it!" Mina shouted, she stood up abruptly, her cup raised and a finger pointed at you. She pulled her hand back in a tight fist against her chest, "I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!"
"Oh calm down," You rolled your eyes and Mina plopped back down in her seat, giggling to herself. You wanted desperately to move on from the embarassing question and began to look around at your group and found the next victim, Izuku, this could be good. "Izuku, Truth or Dare?"
"I-uhm," He said nervously looking around the room, "I thought I wasn't playing."
"Nope! You're sitting in the circle so you have to play!" Mina said. Izuku looked a little nervous but drank the rest of his punch and looked a little better.
"I choose dare." Izuku said finally.
"Alright, I dare you to kiss Uraraka." You said with no hesitation, a smirk growing on your lips.
Everyone began to laugh and cheer them on. Yoh could feel Uraraka's eyes burning holes in the back of your head, meanwhile Izuku just blushed and shrugged. He seemed a little more confident after drinking his punch, which is probably why he agreed to dare. Izuku stood up and made his way over to Uraraka, she didn't move as Izuku bent down and kissed her on the forehead. Everyone booed him as he turned and gave us a thumbs up.
"What? No!" You laughed at him, "Come on! I meant on the lips!"
"No, you said to kiss her," Izuku argued.
"Yeah, on the lips-"
"No, you didn't say where."
"Oh come on, just do it Izuku!" Mina intervened.
"Oh, no, no," He said waving his hands at us as if to dismiss us. Just then Uraraka stood up abruptly, she pushed Izuku's arms down and grabbed his cheek, turning his face to hers. Uraraka stood on her toes, bringing her face up to his for a kiss on the lips. As they pulled away most of the group all cheered and clapped. A shocked Izuku made his way back to his chair, his face red and eyes glossed over.
"Well looks like he's not going to be with us for a while." You said.
"Oh!" Mina raised her hand, "Can I ask a question in place of him!"
You shrugged and gestured for her to start.
"Okay, um," Her eyes landed on Sero who was sitting on the arm of the couch she sat in. "Sero, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare," His face broke out into a wide grin, his arms crossed over his puffed out chest.
"I dare you to order us pizza!" Mina said.
"What, no!" Sero's grin dropped, "Do you know how much that'll cost?"
"Okay fine, just," Mina looked around at us and counted on her fingers. "2 or 3 pizzas then."
"Fine," Sero rolled his eyes as he grabbed his wallet and phone out of his pocket.
It was well after midnight, that's when you knew that Shoto wasn't coming. Upset and frustrated, you found yourself drinking more and more. You danced with Izuku who was also about as drunk as you were, sang some with Momo and Mina, and grinded on Iida who was trying to push you off gently. Iida was the designated mom for the night, making sure that you all drank water and didn't do anything too stupid. At one point you recalled running off with Katsuki and Kirishima to the second story balcony to watch Kirishima throw himself off of it. Claiming something about being manly and tough for surviving such a drop.
You felt your stomach turn and your mouth salivate as bile began to tickle your throat. You looked up to Katsuki and sprinted towards the nearest restroom, his bellies feeling in concern as your face twisted. He followed you as you sprinted down the hall to the nearest bathroom, dropping to your knees with you as you stuck your head into the toilet bowl. Katsuki pulled your hair back and rubbed your back as the contents of your stomach made a swift exit.
When your stomach felt empty, you reached up and flushed the toilet, sitting back on your heels with hands clinging to the edge of the bowl. Katsuki sat back and looked at you, his eyes having never left you in the first place. You felt dizzy so he just looked like 2 people sitting against the wall. You held a hand out to him in an attempt to solidify him right in front of yourself. Katsuki grabbed your hand holding it close to himself, he felt surprisingly soft as he pulled you close to him. The two of you both sat there on your knees, your head resting on his shoulder and arms wrapped around his back in a loose hug. His chin rested on top of your head with his arms wrapped around waist.
"You're a good friend Katsuki," You said, your words slurred as they came out, "You've been there for me a lot, and I want to thank you for that."
"I wanted to talk to you about that actually," He said. He gripped your shoulders gently and holding you out, both of you sat back on the heels of your feet. There was a look in his eye that you didn't quite recognize, he looked hurt but unsure, and at the same time nervous.
"What is it?" You asked.
"I've never found a good way to tell you, (y/n)," Katsuki said, you nodded slowly trying to follow along with him. "I like you, like a lot."
"I-uhm, what do you mean? I don't understand?" You said, shaking your head side to side.
"I mean that I like you as more than a friend," He said, he brought up his hand to cup your cheek. You brushed his hand aside, stopping his affectionate touch. You didn't know what to think, for so long you thought of him only as a good friend and nothing more. The two of you had been so close for so long that you didn't know how to react to this. You stood up slowly on shaky legs. He began to stand with you but you put a hand out to stop him.
"I need a second alone, to think," You mumble and exited the bathroom to the hallway.
"(y/n), wait, let me-" Katsuki said.
"No, it's okay really," You interrupted, "I just need to sort through some things in my head, okay?"
You made your way out of the restroom and found the nearest bedroom. Opening up the door and flipping on the lights to reveal Momo and someone else kissing in her bed. You didn’t realize you walked right up to her bedroom door on instinct. As you began to step back the other person on her bed turned to face the door. Momo and Jiro were kissing. Oh my god. Oh shit. What do I do? Do I back away and say nothing? Do I stay? What's the protocol? You thought frantically.
You stepped back, turned the lights off, then shut the door behind yourself. Your back found the solid wall next to the door, feet sliding against the hardwood as you slid down the wall. Lost in your train of thought, you didn't notice Momo and Jiro had stepped out. They squatted down in front of you, a hand on a shoulder and a knee. A worried glance passed between the two, and you knew what they were going to say.
"I won't tell, I promise," You said, you felt more sober now than you did coming in. "I know neither of you are really out to anyone, so I'll just keep this to myself."
"Thank you," Jiro sighed.
"Thank you, (y/n)," Momo said, "We're just worried how everyone will take it, you know? We don't want to lose any friends over this."
"Why would you say something like that?" Your face scrunched up in confusion, "If you lose friends over something like this then they were not your friends to begin with."
"I think we're also just worried about you-know-who asking too many questions," Jiro added, referring to a certain grape-headed young man.
"Oh, yeah," You muttered, "I can see that now. I promise I won't tell a soul though."
"Thank you, seriously," Jiro smiled. A thought clicked in your head as she did.
"Wait, is this why you were nervous about tonight?" I gasped, "Were you two going to, you know? Oh my god!"
"No! No, no!" Jiro waved me off, "I was nervous because I was going to tell Momo how I felt for the first time."
"Ooh," You said, understanding the situation finally. It only made you think of Katsuki though, sitting alone in the restroom just down the hall. Jiro and Momo exchanged a look when your face dropped and head hung low.
"Hey, are you okay, (y/n)?" Momo asked.
"That seems to be your catchphrase," You mumbled as you picked at the end of your skirt, she had said it too many times to count by now. "Katsuki said he liked me, like, asmore than a friend."
"I know that, what'd you say?" Jiro said.
"Wait, what do you mean you know?" You whispered harshly, afraid he’d overhear the conversation from the restroom.
"Like, I know that he likes you." Jiro said, "It's pretty obvious, the only other person he's as nice to, other than you, is Kirishima."
"Leave her alone," Momo said, nudging her side. "She obviously didn't know."
"Well, no, I think I had thought that maybe he did." You said slowly, "But then I started spending a lot more time with Shoto. What should I do?"
"Men always make a mess of things, don't they?" Jiro said, nudging Momo with her elbow.
"Why would you say that to her?" Momo nudged her back with a harsh look in her eyesdi, "Look, Akina, you do what you feel is right in your heart. I don't want to force my opinion on you, but Katsuki has obviously liked you for a long time."
You simply nodded and stared down at your feet, "I think it's best I go home now," You stood up slowly, "I'll see you guys at school, okay?"
"Text us when you get home, okay?" Momo asked.
"Of course," You said, giving her a kind smile, "Thanks for the party."
As you began making your way toward the stairs, you saw Katsuki step out of the bathroom. Your eyes locked momentarily before turning your gaze. At the top of the steps you hesitated, his eyes never leaving your body.
“Kacchan,” you said softly, staring down the stairs. “Can you take me home?”
You held out a hand to him, the look on your face was uncertain but the smile you had was soft and sweet. Katsuki walked over to you and looped an arm around yours, his warmth radiating against your side.
“Yeah, let’s go home.”

i was tempted to give them a tray of shiggy-hand-fries on that table. the five of them have the most high school band energy i’ve ever witnessed and i felt like drawing them :>
(the joke’s not funny anymore since i don’t know what fashion is, but i was committed. kami probably came up with it and in spite of the other four adamantly hating it, nobody had a better idea — aside from “a-band”, which he rightfully argued is objectively awful)

One thing that makes me a bit sad is how many chatfics just descended into meaningless crack that makes zero sense.
Chatfics are fun! Sure yeah some crack is fine but fuuuuuck, I am just not into that. Also, the variability of the pairings sucks. Seriously.

Some Momo headcannons cause i love her
- she/her
- lesbian
- autistic
- has anxiety
- has a deep hatred for the texture of smoothies
- makes friendship bracelets to calm down
- Tsu is teaching her how to take care of plants
- her weighted blanket is her most prized possession
- her and Shoto are childhood friends
- her and Bakugou had to work on a project together one time and are now best friends (no one knows how that happened)
- some of her favorite stims are hand flapping, and twisting her hair
- really likes big dogs
- feels bad about killing mosquitos
- loves fruit snacks and always has some in her bag
- likes old poetry
- musical special interest
-is really trying to convince Shinsou that coffee is bad for him and that he should try tea instead ( it will never work, just give up)
- hates the feeling of hair on her neck so she always keeps it up
- thought she had romantic feelings for Shoto, turns out, its completely platonic
- Shoto also has to listen to her talk for hours about how much she likes Jirou, but is very oblivious to the fact that Jirou keeps asking her out (Shoto is dying, please help him)
In conclusion I love her in the most platonic way and she’s so cool

third year! bakugou katsuki thinks it's pathetic how everyone tries to ask you to be their valentine while you stand absolutely awkwardly and oblivious to their advances.
he rolls his eyes, scoffing at how you tilt your head and ask 'what do you mean?' when a new second-year tries to confess through a heartfelt letter a week before valentines day. he's sitting in the cafeteria, a few tables away from you where you stand with your tray. his friends catch his line of sight and begin to watch too as you awkwardly take the letter and mention how it's your favourite colour, what a coincidence.
"man, poor y/n." kaminari sighs, "been getting bombarded with valentine's day proposals."
"acting like you werent one last year." sero snickers, elbowing the blonde, who replies with 'shut up!'.
"y/n, todoroki and momo have to be the most popular third years. i saw todoroki carrying a fruit arrangement yesterday with 'be my valentine' on some flags." mina states, drinking her orange juice.
jirou retorts, poking her food, "did you see y/n's shoe locker when they opened it? they were basically drowning in all those letters. and their desk was full of teddy bears and hearts and flowers."
"yaoyorozu told me that she felt so bad because she rejected someone who choreographed a flash mob for her." kirishima inputs, "but seriously, so many people have tried getting with y/n, it's insane."
katsuki only rolls his eyes again as you thank the person, who runs away giddily. you're so uninterested in the person that you just pocket it in your blazer for later. katsuki chuckles at the action before returning to his food.
he thinks it's so funny that everyone is fawning over you. he understood todoroki and yaoyorozu, they've been popular since day one. but you? what did anyone see in you?
"hey, bakugou, are you alright?" you ask, standing in front of him on the porch of the dormitory. it's now five days later and he blinks himself back to reality and swallows the lump in his throat. "you were kinda' just staring at me and that girl just then..."
it's true, he was. a first year, some lovesick teen girl, came to confess to you just then. you hold some chocolates in your hand and a bouquet of roses in another. your third this week, he tallies.
"i—i wasn't." he stammers, looking away. he was leaning against the pillar, watching you as he took in some fresh air. it was pure coincidence, he says. "what... did you tell 'em?"
"i felt a bit sorry, she cried a little when i said i'm not a fan of this kind of chocolate." you express, showing him the box. katsuki smirks. you were so blunt. "i still accepted it though, to make her feel better. i don't even know her, though."
"strange." he responds, staring at you, "so what now then?"
"do you want it?"
"i don't want your fucking confession candy." he scoffs, furrowed brows. he's irritated at the offer and you just tuck the chocolates underneath your arm. "why'd you say 'no'?"
"i... don't know her." you state as if it was obvious. he blinks and looks away. "i dunno', i've been getting asked a lot recently."
"that so?" it's so pathetic, how anyone would trip and fall at your feet at the slight chance to share valentine's day with you. he could think of a thousand things better to do tomorrow than spend it with you—
"how come you haven't asked me yet?" you inquire, pursing your lips, "to be your valentine?"
"hah?" he huffs out, making the most outraged expression on his face, "what the hell did you just say to me?"
you sigh, opening the entrance door with your new gifts, "nevermind."
he stares at you as you leave him alone on the porch. questions swirl in his mind, making him think about you even more. is this how you made so many admirers? you just... made them think about you? you were absolutely crazy.
that's got to me the most pathetic thing about valentine's day, right?
wrong.
katsuki annoyedly drops the chocolates that he knows for sure you love. and as he passes the flower section, oh god, the amount of time he spent trying to figure out which ones were the perfect ones. the cashier looks at him knowingly, wishing him 'goof luck' on his endeavour. katsuki scoffs and tells them to shut his mouth.
what's pathetic is that katsuki readies himself for asking you. now that he's got confirmation that you were expecting him to, he would do it. he is standing in front of your dorm door, holding the flowers and chocolates and teddy bear in his arms. he knows you have hundreds in your room right now, but... he's pathetic.
when his hand goes up to knock on your door, the elevator reaches the floor and opens to reveal you in the sports uniform.
you walk up, typing on your phone when you look up to your dorm to see him. "oh, hey."
"hey." he mumbles, trying his best to hide the presents behind his back, "went on a run?"
"no, quirk training, actually." you respond, unlockong your dorm. you walk in and turn your head. "did you need to talk to me?"
"well... i—"
"are those for valentine's day?" you point to the flowers that are badly hiden behind him.
katsuki grunts, finally revealing them, "y—yeah... i don't know how to do this."
"come in." you say, inviting him into your dorm. he nervously enters and closes the door behind him. you sit at our desk, leg over your knee, almost like you're inspecting him thoroughly. "so, who is it for?"
he stops. "huh?"
"i mean, who are you asking?" you mumble out. he doesn't know what to say. do you not remember asking him to ask you yesterday? "you're looking for advice, aren't you?"
suddenly, he's on the fire. he's in the position that he made fun of those other people for being in. and it fucking sucks.
it takes all his courage to sigh out, "no... no, you idiot. i'm asking you."
"wha—? me?" you point at yourself.
"yes! here!" he practically shoves them into your hands and steps away away. "i... want you to be my valentine tomorrow. please."
his harsh tone makes you rethink his statement. but katsuki sees a smile dawn on your face regardless, something the others who have asked you haven't seen.
"thank you, bakugou. i love them."
he knows damn well you do.
"i'd be happy to be your valentine." you confirm, standing up and placing the flowers on your desk. you put the chocolates and teddy on your bed, smiling the whole time. he gulps in anticipation, despite you already saying 'yes'. "thank you, truly. it's perfect."
katsuki clears his throat, hands in his pockets and he looks away, "'s nothin'."
you chuckle and step towards him, hand on his shoulder as you give him a gentle kiss on the cheek.
"whatever you say. where did you wann' go tomorrow?"
he thinks it's pathetic how on valentine's day, you drag him to all the couple stalls and events, and even do a hand-reading (katsuki lets out a sigh of relief when they said that you two are quite the perfect match), but when it's with you, it's a lot less embarrassing to do it. in fact, he'd relive this whole day again if he could.
what's pathetic is how all those people thought they could have this time with you, when all you ever wanted was bakugou katsuki himself.

(gender neutral reader, reader went to middle school with bakugou and midoriya, reader can make chocolate, and reader bent their back for the making of said chocolate, not that much beta read /derogatory, i got carried away 😭)
bakugou katsuki is a feared, but admired guy— especially during valentines day.
it’s interesting.. when he was a younger boy— he’d take gifts from admirers (usually girl classmates or other kids that frequent the park he goes to) with widened eyes and a scoff, snatching the gift away from them with quick hands, and mumbling how valentines day is stupid— that it’s lame and he doesn’t understand it.
but refusing gifts are rude, he’d remember his mom say, after he refused to accept something his dad made for him— and back then, he’d listen to his mom like his life depended on it. so, for a year or two— he’d take gifts.
but as the blond boy manifested a quirk and became just a bit older— he started ignoring her words altogether, having had grown out of the “listening to mom all the time is cool” phase.
his features started defining themselves, and he was starting to become taller. before he knew it— he had a sudden wave of admirers crashing down at him almost everyday of the year.
and it almost excluding valentines day.
because he’d sneer at anyone willing to offer their affection in the form of sweetened confectionary, and resorted to blowing up love letters into smithereens.
if his personality wasn’t obvious enough, this was precisely the reason why his admire-from-afar to get-personal ratio was obviously imbalanced.
of course, no one really learns— even as he grows older, enters UA for highschool, and retains his personality even after some realizations, because bakugou katsuki is quite beautiful.
so there’s at least a handful of admirers that are willing to risk it all— even if it meant some form of humilation or intimidation.
but not you.
you’ve prepared a little something for everyone in your class— yes, even the forbidden grape haired classmate and him. your hands practically hurt from stirring, and you feel like if you’d even bend up slightly, you’d hear multiple cracks amass from your back.
but you think it’s all worth it. your work tastes good, looks good and cute, and you’re certain everyone would enjoy how their chocolates varied in flavor, even if the change was just slightly noticeable.
you hand out chocolates to each respective person as soon as they pop into the common room.
the girls of your class perk up in interest and clamor around you— smiles adorning their faces as they line up to receive their chocolates.
mina, kyouka and hagakure compare their flavors together, momo asks you how you did it, because she’s “bad at cooking”
ochako’s already munching on the sweets, when he starts thanking you. finally, tsuyu just looks at you silently, and gives you a warm side hug.
midoriya goes beet red when he realizes that you personally gave everyone a slightly different flavor (you don’t know how he blushed over that, but you find it endearing.) todoroki, tokoyami, shoji, sato, koda, and ojiro look a little confused and dazed at first when you give them your chocolates, but they end up accepting it with gratitude.
kirishima, iida, kaminari, sero, aoyama and mineta accept your chocolates rather quickly, wasting no time in giving their thanks (excluding mineta— who just teased you about liking him, which was and will never be the case)
but through it all, you managed to avoid eye contact with your snarky blond childhood friend and classmate— who was silently trailing you with crimson eyes the entire time.
for a moment you think he’s mad at you for not giving anything, which you’d understand— if it weren’t for the fact that he is valentines day’s #1 public enemy. but you exchange this thought for something else.
he must think that you’re strange for making the class chocolate, and you wouldn’t blame him. usually, it’d be sato making stuff like this. not to mention, you heard him remark rather loudly about the kitchen smelling strongly of chocolate, in his usual bakugou tone.
you made the right choice not to give him the chocolates you made, you think to yourself. not to mention, how amidst it all, you might’ve showed a slight bias to his chocolate’s design— and revealing your crush on him on today of all days is less than ideal.
and you think nothing of his behavior—
“s’ i’ve got nothing, huh?”
he jumpscares you when you close your locker, and he lets out a snort when your shoulders rise in reflection of your surprise.
your gaze trails to his locker, which cannot close due to a lump of chocolate and letters preventing it from properly doing so. “you’ve got plenty, though. i don’t want to give you diabetes or anything.”
(which was half true because wow the amount of chcolate—)
“you gave all of them chocolate. why’da do that?”
“because.. it’s valentines day..?” you start walking away from your locker— and to which he follows all the way. you try not to think much of the action
“but what makes you think that i shouldn’t get any.”
normally, one would state that as a question, but the way he said it, the tone of his voice— it wasn’t said like one.
“i know you, kachaan,” you reason while making use of his childhood nickname, which gains an eye twitch from the blond. “if i was told to count how many letters you’ve burned and chocolates you either gave away or thrown out, i wouldn’t have enough fingers on my hands.”
“‘cause all of them were fuckin’ store bought?”
“and what if they weren’t?”
“then they were horrendous.” he states, matter of a fact. then, his eyes narrow, “and it’s not like you’re giving me a damned letter.”
you feel your cheeks heat up. that’s not the case— but the idea of writing him a love letter has your mind going into haywire.
“it’s not. but you’ve never showed interest in this sorta thing in a long time.”
“what— eating chocolates?”
“pretty much.”
he blinks, unamused. “you can be such a dumbass sometimes. can’t take the fucking hint.”
you’re pretty sure he meant to say that quietly, but he didn’t. you’re unphased at this point.
but you don’t get what he means, so you try to defend yourself. “but—” your words come to a sudden halt, as you realize the uselessness.
“wait, why am i trying to reason with you?— look, i actually did make something for you too. if i didn’t then that’d be such an asshole move of me to exclude you.”
“really. you’re not bullshittin’ me?”
“no.” you reply, firmly. “but you have to promise not to laugh. you can insult me, but laugh? no way.”
he raises an eyebrow.
then, you shift onto one leg and start looking for something in one of the front pockets of your bag. the search doesn’t take long, because you pull something out— medium sized chocolate in clear wrapping, with an orange bow tying it together.
it’s clearly slightly bigger than the rest of your classmates, and you hope he doesn’t notice.
he silently unwraps the chocolate, and gets eye to eye with your creation. it’s three pieces of chocolate shaped as explosions— the middle explosion being bigger than the other two. anyone who sniffed it could smell orange first, as the middle (biggest) piece has a swirl of orange and milk chocolate, the left piece is simply milk chocolate, and the right piece is white chocolate.
he takes the middle one and bites half of it, and chews. you observe, like he’s a top chef reviewing your latest work, and when he finishes, he says—
“not bad,” he remarks, flashing that heart racing smile. “wanna taste?”
you gulp, stupefied by his offer. words don’t have real meanings for a second. “huh?”
then, he’s reaching up and popping the other half into your mouth, thumb pressing against your lips.
you almost choke— and it wasn’t from the chocolate. you bite, taste the flavor, the mouth watering taste of orange and chocolate swarming your mouth.
to twist the knife into the wound— he cups your face and presses a deep, but quick kiss against your lips. his soft lips linger onto yours, and this intensifies what you can already taste.
and then, as quick as he kissed you, he pulls back— gaze still lingering on your lips.
a toothy grin starts to grow on his lips, and he pats your shoulder— beginning to create distance between you two by walking ahead.
“next time, give me the chocolates first, will ya? tastes fuckin’ good.”
you have a feeling he isn’t talking about the chocolate.

Can you do a long fic where bakugou has a baby brother like maybe 2 years old?
Title: sibling bonding
Fandom:my hero Academia
Warnings: male reader, baby reader, fluff, big brother Bakugo, soft Bakugo
Notes: I can't promise a long fic as my fic lengths are based off of how much steam I have but ill write what I can

Bakugo was happy to have the house mostly alone, his parents in Milan for two weeks he had off for a fashion show.
Why was he mostly alone?
Well they couldn't take his little brother, the two year old didn't do planes well and it was just easier to find a sitter or let him stay with someone for the time, usually their aunty. "Uh-oh" (name) said as he dropped his sippy cup carefully lifting it back up before wandering to his brother "ka!" He said happily as he climbed onto the couch "what squirt?" Katsuki said to the young tot who looked at his phone "what do?" He asked as Katsuki got notifications from discord "I'm texting a few friends, they're coming to visit later for a movie" he was always so soft with his brother, sure he was loud as the rest of his family but his baby brother took more after their dad so he always tried to be gentle.
"Oovee?" He asked curiously and Katsuki nodded "yeah a movie, we gotta get some snacks for you and me before it" he said to the boy who smiled "cake!" "No cake but we can get you a cake pop when we get our walk home drink" Katsuki knew how to compromise with the boy who clapped his hands excitedly.
Katsuki helped (name) put on his shoes before putting him on his shoulders, it was easier to do than hold his hands and (name) got to have fun.
The two went to the convenience store as (name) pointed to various snacks, Katsuki having to hinder the boy with the fact he wanted /everything/ the store had to offer but did compromise with some ice cream and little treats for after dinner and such.
"Cake!" (Name) was absolutely thrilled when Katsuki handed him a cake pop, the teen holding the snacks with one hand and had (name) on his hip as they walked home, (name) eating his treat contently, the boy taking a sip from their drink occasionally.
(Name) loved helping his brother, the tot getting to help put things together for the hang out "you get to watch a movie then it's bath time alright?" Katsuki said to his brother who did a little dance before running off to go play with his toys 'weird kid' Katsuki thought fondly as he finished prep.
"YOOOO BAKUBRO!" Kirishima said as he and a few other classmates entered the Bakugo house, Kaminari whistling at how nice it was inside "whose ready to paaaarty!" Mina said as her, ochaco and Momo came inside with snacks "let's watch some scary...shoopuff" mina halted when she saw the two year old in Katsukis arms, little (name) looking curious but recognized Kirishima from a few visits "little man!" Kirishima ran and grabbed the boy and lifted him "what's up!"
"Hiiii!"
"Whose the kid?" Kaminari asked as (name) spoke nonsense to Kirishima but it was probably his day if any context about "walk" and "cake pop" were to go off of "that's my brother" Katsuki said gruffly, a slight glare on his face as his friends looked at the babe curiously.
During the movie, the teens would notice Bakugo would be soft with the boy even when he scolded him "oi, leave that alone" "but you're smelly!" (Name) argued back, holding a book in his hands "put it down and park your ass and watch the movie or its night time" Bakugo said to his brother who huffed but complied "you're not my favorite brother anymore!"
"Ah? And who is?"
"Dad!"
The movie went on well, the group putting on a hero movie and before they knew it, it was (name)s bath time "bubububbub!" (Name) was pleased with the bubbles as he played with his toys, his older brother working around him to wash him "head back" the teen said gruffly as he put a visor on the boys forehead and rinced out the shampoo before repeating it with the conditioner "kaa! Ducky!" The boy squirted some water at his brother who rolled his eyes "wanna see something cool?" He asked his little brother who looked curious "ya!'
Katsuki put his hand in the water and activated his quirk, just enough to give a jacuzzi affect "whoa!" The boy said excitedly as Katsuki pulled his hand out "now, out ya go!"
"Nooo!"
"None of that! Come on, let's brush your fucking teeth and get you to bed brat"
(Name) cuddled into his brothers shoulder as he wore his fuzzy pajamas, the other teens waving him goodnight as Katsuki brought him to his bedroom and tucked him into bed "hah? What's this?" Katsuki held up a small handmade plush of him in his hero suit "Die'ite!" (Name) grabbed the plush and Katsuki felt a small smile creep on his face as his little brother hugged the toy "he a hero you like?"
"He's the bestest!"

jerk [2].
Tumblr media
because bakugou katsuki is a jerk but he's also unfortunately your soulmate.
a/n: the LARGELY requested part two! honestly, i'd be willing to write more parts if people wanted :) this part ended up being more about the girls and y/ns friendship but i couldn't help myself - if you guys want some fluff with bakugou for future parts, just let me know!
pairing: bakugou katsuki x f!reader
part one.
“You’re hiding something from us.”
There’s a beat of silence, then another, then another and when finally, you realize you should say something, you blink, sputtering out a barely believable; “no i’m not.”
Mina and Jirou glance at each other, then behind them at the rest of the girls, and you feel a layer of sweat build up when you realize all of your female classmates are here, surrounding you, demanding an answer. And you’ve never really been all that good at lying before, it’s how Bakugou was able to figure out the whole “i’m your soulmate thing” rather quickly and it had only taken him as long as it had because, well, it was Bakugou.
So, to put it bluntly, you’re screwed.
“Come on, Y/N,” Mina laughs, “that wasn’t even remotely believable.”
You know it’s written across your face, your eyes wide and your lips parted and you’re sure you look like quite the picture in that moment surrounded by every single female student in your class, a group of girls you considered your friends but were feeling considerably more like your interrogators in that moment.
But you have to at least try.
“I’m not hiding anything,” you repeat, this time taking special care to make sure your voice is even and somewhat believable. “I’m just… tired. It’s been throwing my balance off. Sorry guys.”
You really are because you have been weird recently and you were hiding things (even if you were desperate for them not to know that) so the sincerity was there and it seems to be enough because they all glance at each other, frowning, and you can literally see the determination fade as Momo speaks up first.
“You have been leaving to train a lot,” she agrees with a solemn nod. “It’s no wonder you’re so tired. But you should still try to get some rest, don’t push yourself so hard.”
You let out a breath of relief, trying not to let it show as some of the girls shuffle back to walk away, until—
“Wait, that reminds me!”
It’s Jirou who calls it out and you feel yourself freeze.
“She hasn’t been training!”
Eyes widening, you turn to look at Jirou. She’s grinning your way, her figure pointed in your direction, clearly pleased she’d caught you in your lie.
“Jirou,” Uraraka calls out, confused. “What are you–”
“Two nights ago when she left to go training, I followed her, thinking we could train together… she wasn’t there.”
They gasp. Literally gasp.
“Now that you mention it,” Froppy nods, finger held to her chin in thought. “I haven’t actually seen her in the gym very often… nor does she look particularly like a person who’s just trained when she comes back.”
Their eyes fall on you and you take a step back.
“Y/N—”
And then you just run.
-
“I can’t believe she just ran!”
“I know!”
“Guys, I’m sure she had her reasons.”
“Who?”
Mina’s lips are left parted at the sound of Kirishima’s voice, all the girls turning to face him in the living room where he’s sat with the rest of the class.
“Y/N,” Mina explains with a huff, falling into the couch dramatically. “She’s been ditching us constantly and always leaving right after we return from class with some excuse. When we tried to ask her about it today, she lied and then when we caught on to her lie, she ran! Literally just bolting down the hallway before we could even blink.”
Kirishima frowns, glancing over to Denki on his left.
“That doesn’t sound like Y/N,” Deku calls out from across the room, head tilted in curiosity. “Especially to lie to you guys.”
“I know!” Mina calls out, throwing her hands up in exasperation.
“Like I said,” Uraraka speaks up, trying to remain calm. “I’m sure she has her reasons. Maybe something’s wrong…”
“You think she could be in danger?” Shoto asks, quirking a brow.
Uraraka shrugs; “I don’t know… I hope not.”
Everyone falls silent, worried expressions plastered on their faces.
“Wait, Kirishima… bro.” Denki calls, reaching to shake Kirishima aggressively, to which the red-haired boy swats his hands away, shaking his head.
“What?”
“Hasn’t Bakubro been disappearing a lot too?”
All the girls straighten out.
Kirishima just shakes his head; “Bakugou is always disappearing. You know he doesn’t like hanging with us a lot.”
“No, Denki’s right,” Sero nods, “even if he isn’t hanging with us, he’s usually in his room or in the gym. Recently, he just completely disappears.”
“I guess you’re right…” Kirishima frowns.
“Wait,” Jirou calls out, “what are you saying? That Bakugou is disappearing with Y/N?”
“That’s crazy,” Mina brushes off. “I’ve never even seen the two talk to each other unless they’re forced to–wait.”
Everyone's eyes snap to hers, wide.
“What?”
“You don’t think… no. It’s not possible.”
“Oh my god,” Denki cries out suddenly, leaning forward with a manic look in his eyes. “Bakubro is hurting Y/N!”
“Wait–”
“No way!” Kirishima calls out, turning to Denki. “Bakugou is a lot of things, but he would never hurt somebody intentionally. Especially not a girl. That’s not manly. Right, Midoriya?”
“Right,” Deku nods confidently, before pausing; “I think?”
“Hey!”
“Guys, no!” Mina cuts in, shaking her hands widely before her. “That’s not what I meant.”
“Okay…” Momo nods, “then what?”
She leans in, pausing for dramatic effect. “He could be… her soulmate!”
There’s silence, then, “no way.”
Mina’s face falls; “why not?”
“Bakugou? Having a soulmate?” Jirou snorts, “I doubt that.”
“Everybody has one!”
“Okay, the odds of him actually caring about his soulmate are slim to none,” Froppy offers in response.
“Yeah,” Deku nods, “I've never once seen Kacchan show interest in his soulmate like… ever.”
Kirishima shakes his head; “even I have to admit that’s so not manly.”
Everyone shuffles around agreements but Mina is quick to argue; “have any of you guys ever seen Bakugou’s soulmate mark?” Slowly, one by one, all glancing at each other, the guys shake their heads. Mina then turns to the girls. “Okay, have any of you ever seen Y/N’s? Cause she’s never shown or told me.”
The girls all shake their heads.
“So how can you really know?” Mina raises a brow, “I mean, Y/N is always so secretive about her mark. She refuses to tell me.”
-
“Bakugou, we have—”
“Katsuki.”
Coming to a sharp halt, lips left parted, you blink up at Bakugou.
With a grin, Bakugou gently shuts your mouth with a hand to your jaw, laughing lightly; “say Katsuki. That’s my name.”
You can feel your cheeks warm, profusely, and a burst of heat flood through you as you pull yourself from his touch, avoiding his gaze. “Katsuki,” you oblige with a huff and a pout. “We have a problem.”
“Yes?” Bakugou asks, raising a brow your way as he lowers the weight’s he’d been lifting.
“The girls are onto us!”
Bakugou just stares down at you. “What does that mean?”
Exasperated at his obliviousness, you huff, stretching your hands out before you for emphasis as you stare up at him, wide-eyed. “They know I’ve been disappearing after class a lot. I tried to tell them I was training, which I guess we usually are but Jirou caught on to that being a lie too and now they’re onto us!”
Bakugou just blinks. “But what do you mean onto us?”
You let out a cry; “Katsuki! They’re gonna know we’re soulmates!”
“So?”
Pressing a hand to your face, you can’t believe your situation. Not only were the girls onto you, they knew you were lying, which made you feel awful and if they found out that you’d been spending all your time with Bakugou… well that was bound to bring up more questions. Questions you wouldn’t be able to avoid. Questions that would ultimately lead to them finding out Bakugou was your soulmate.
A hand gently reaches for your wrists, pulling your hands away from your face as Bakugou crouches to meet your eyes directly.
“Why is it such a big deal?” He asks gently, an odd tone that you’re still not used to hearing from Bakugou yet. His face remains neutral but there’s patience lingering in his eyes as he waits for you to explain why you’re so upset.
And you do. Your lips part and the words are at the tip of your tongue until, suddenly, you can’t say anything.
Nothing leaves your lips.
“Y/N?”
“I…—”
“You don’t want them to know?”
Blinking, you bite your lip. “It’s not that, it’s just…” But again, you can’t find the words.
“You don’t trust them?”
“Of course I do,” you argue instantly, “they’re my best friends.”
“Okay…” he says slowly, and then his face twists, “are you… embarrassed of me?”
Meeting his gaze, you frown. “...No,” you whisper, and you mean the words.
“Then what’s the problem?”
“I…” Shoulders falling, you frown. “Nothing… I guess.”
“So,” he says, “let them find out!”
Sputtering, you lean back; “it’s not like you’ve told Kirishima or any of the other guys!”
“It’s none of their business,” Bakugou shrugs, letting go of your wrists to set his hand on your head. “But if it makes you feel better, I'll tell them.”
You find yourself silent with disbelief once again, Bakugou’s words echoing in your mind paired with the look in his eyes. Just staring down at you.
Looking at you.
Like you’re his whole world.
-
“I’m sorry.”
They blink at you.
“I’m sorry about running away yesterday.”
Another blink.
“And I'm sorry I’ve been lying to you guys for the past few weeks.”
Slowly, all the girls glance at each other, trying to gauge the situation, before Uraraka is the first to speak up.
“It’s okay,” she assures with a smile, setting her hand on your shoulder and giving it a gentle squeeze. “We appreciate you apologizing. We were just worried.”
“We wanna make sure you’re okay,” Jirou adds, smiling shyly at you.
You take a look at all of their faces, seeing the sincerity staring back at you, before settling on Mina who still has a hint of hurt in her eyes but there’s also hope.
Well, here goes nothing.
“Bakugou’s my soulmate.”
Silence echoes, once again, before.
“What?”
“I knew it!”
“Bakugou!?”
There’s a mix of words, gasps of disbelief and shouts of question thrown out at you as all the girls rush towards you, swarming you, desperate for answers.
You laugh a little at their reaction, and that catches their attention.
“Y/N?” Mina asks, confused.
“I’ve been sneaking off to see him,” you explain to her, meeting her gaze, before letting your gaze drift. “I didn’t say anything because I’m still adjusting to it myself and I still don’t know how to feel about it. But I realized it isn’t fair to lie to you guys like that and that I want you guys to know because you matter so much to me.”
“Y/N…” Uraraka mumbles, tears welling in her eyes.
Her expression mimics many of the other girls before suddenly there’s a body slamming against your own, arms wrapping tightly around your waist as you stumble back, trying to catch your footing.
“Oh. My. God!” Mina screams, you wincing at the sheer volume, as she pulls back, grinning brightly at you. “You have to tell us everything!”
-
The next morning, you’re sitting at the island in the kitchen eating breakfast, chatting to Mina, Jirou and Kirishima. The rest of the students trickle by, some making breakfast, some in the living room, all in their own conversations, until suddenly it all stops.
It takes you a moment to realize Kirishima, Mina and Jirou are no longer listening to you, head turned to their right and following their gaze, curious, you blink when you realize it’s Bakugou they’re staring at. It’s not like he’s doing anything particularly odd, nothing except for the fact that his gaze is directed on you and he’s heading straight for you and then suddenly, he’s right in front of you.
His gaze drifts from you, to your plate, back to you; “who made you that?”
“Nobody,” you say slowly, still stunned. “I made it.”
He’s grabbing the plate before you can say anything else, pressing a kiss to your forehead that has your cheeks burning before turning and making his way to the fridge.
“I’ll make you something better,” is all he says in explanation.
Your gaze slowly drifts from him to Mina and Jirou who are grinning widely at you, before there’s the shout of;
“Did Bakubro just kiss Y/N?!”
“And offer to make her breakfast!”
“Wait,” Kirishima suddenly calls after Sero and Denki, turning to Mina and Jirou, “why are two grinning!?”
“All the girls are!” Deku exclaims, pointing at Uraraka and Froppy in front of him.
“You guys knew?”
“Of course,” Mina grins, sending a wink Kirishima’s way before shrugging. “Isn’t that right, Bakugou? You and Y/N are soulmates!”
Everyone expects him to ignore her or tell her to shut up, but instead, he pauses in what he’d been doing (cracking an egg for you), turning his head over his shoulders to meet your gaze before smirking.
“That’s right.”
And chaos follows.
Utter and complete chaos.
