new chapter babyyyy!! let's gooo :D I put this out like. hours ago but that's fine

The winner takes it all is a (mostly) Tubbo-centric clingyduo modern/2006 horror fic where Tubbo moves to a new town and ends up caught up in a murder case. It is ongoing with 5/12 chapters and 45k words!

Summary:

Tubbo furrowed his brow, taking a step back in the hall. “What?”

Tommy nodded like it was the most simple thing in the world, like he hadn’t just proposed the most ridiculous idea Tubbo had ever heard in his life.

“Like I said. We should look into it.”

“Tommy, two people died.”

“I know. And a monster did it. Are you with me or not?”

Obviously not, Tubbo wanted to yell, but he couldn’t help his mind from drifting back to what he’d seen. What they’d both seen. Truth be told, he could almost believe it.

Tubbo moved to a new town with his father hoping for the best in his new life. Instead, he found himself caught right in the middle of a murder case, investigating with his new friend, Tommy, into what they believed was a monster. What they end up discovering along the way isn’t exactly what they’re looking for.

Waffles and Kisses

The light shuffling of the covers was enough to make you stir and open your eyes, finding the source of it easily. Your 2 year old daughter, Yeonja, had decided that 5 am was too late for you and Jisung to still be fast asleep. And now she was struggling to climb onto your bed. She had done it many times before, so she would find a way in the next minute or so.

You glanced over at Jisung who was still fast asleep. “Yeonja will wake him up in 2 minutes anyway.” Your brain told you as you sat up and checked your phone, Yeonja finally finding a way up.

You smiled at her, watching as she went straight to Jisung as usual. Such a daddy’s girl. Yeonja found waking Jisung up a very fun task. And you loved seeing his face light up when she was the first person he saw in the morning. So it was a win for everyone.

Except maybe Jisung who wanted more sleep most days.

She stared at his sleeping face before reaching out her hand and poking his cheek. You stifled a laugh, having trouble deciding which was cuter, your daughter or your husband.

“Princess, give me 5 more minutes.” he said groggily, finding her arm expertly with his eyes closed. He picked her up like she was the lightest thing in the world and hugged her to his chest. This erupted a fit of giggles from her, and then some from Jisung as well.

You decided that making breakfast for your two babies would be the best thing to do, and attempted to get up as well.

“Babyyyy… Don’t leave me!” Jisung whined, giving you a pouty face. You scoffed but a smile crept on your face nonetheless.

“You have Yeonja-” You stood up but he pulled you back down.

“Please?”

“Please??” Yeonja chimed in as well, following her father’s lead without fail.

“Aish you two… Give me a break-”

“I love you.” Jisung said quickly, smiling at you.

“I love you too… which is why I’m going to go make you breakfast.”

Jisung sighed, knowing there was no winning this battle given how stubborn you were.

“Pancakes or waffles?”

“WAFFLES!” Yeonja shouted out, jumping up and down before Jisung grabbed her and hugged her again, stopping the energetic 2-year-old habits she had developed.

“Waffles it is.” You patted Yeonja’s head and kissed her cheek.

“None for me?” Jisung complained.

“Yeonja is right there.” You glared at him and walked off, first to the bathroom to brush your teeth, and then downstairs to make breakfast.

Jisung looked down at Yeonja before giggling, “Your mother is sooooo stubborn. She wouldn’t even give me a kiss.” He pouted again.

Yeonja smiled widely, “Waffles?”

Jisung laughed, “Right. Let’s go downstairs and get those waffles… and my kiss.”

He picked up Yeonja effortlessly and carried her back to her room to pick out an outfit for the day. Styling her was one of his favourite parts of the morning.

She ended up in dusty pink overalls with a white shirt underneath.

“Want the bow?” Jisung offered, holding up a pink bow to match. Yeonja grabbed it from him and put the headband on her head.

“You don’t even need me anymore. Look at you, all grown up.” He approved fondly, eliciting giggles from her.

Once they were both dressed and had their teeth brushed, Jisung carried her downstairs. You stood at the counter mixing the batter together, in an olive green dress that Jisung just loved on you.

“Can we make strawberry sauce?” Yeonja asked immediately.

“Mhm. The strawberries are in the freezer.” You instructed, pouring the first bit of batter into the waffle iron to be turned into the hot, crispy, delicious breakfast food.

While you finished with the waffles, Yeonja “helped” Jisung with the strawberry sauce, and in the next 10 minutes, breakfast was ready.

Jisung pulled out the chair for Yeonja, as recently she was insisting she was a big girl that didn’t need a highchair anymore. Once she had gotten her waffles with strawberry sauce and maple syrup, she was content… and distracted.

“Now can I get my kiss?” Jisung leaned over and whispered.

You ignored him, drinking some of your water instead, but you could feel him staring at you. You blushed under his gaze. Despite being with him for 4 years already, he still knew how to make you flustered.

“Fine.” You turned to him, pressing a kiss to his lips. His hand went to cup the back of your neck, bringing you closer.

But the kiss didn’t last longer than 10 seconds. You were overly conscious of Yeonja’s presence.

You pulled back and went back to eating.

“You look so good in this dress, you know?” Jisung smiled, admiring you.

“Yeah?”

“I love it.”

“Shut up.” You giggled. “Yeonja looks cute in that outfit.”

“She picked the bow herself. Didn’t you, princess?”

5. what were they like in college?

attached at the hip in undergrad, less so when they were doing their mba, especially towards the end when kendall was gearing to finally go out in the real world and become Kendall Roy.

im sure it was their best and worst times, it wasn’t just time and freedom away from logan but from the whole family and away from home, but also the further they got into college, the further ken got into his path to becoming heir and the farther he got from stewy. i think a lot of their time in college was holding onto the time they had now and each other, knowing that everything was gonna change as soon as it was over

but ultimately yeah, i think it was a very close time for them, it was them at their most domestic, crashing at each others’ dorms, hanging out, taking care of each other, looking out for each other, seeing the worst of each other (id guess kens addiction issues starting flourishing here), but also seeing the best of each other (despite it all, i do think they’re both very smart and im sure kicked ass academically), and having some really good fucking times

i call myself a writer, but i literally have no words. you’ve left me utterly speechless. i’ll say this though, that was probably one of the most romantic things i’ve ever read. and i’ve read A LOT of romance. i cried. i was inordinately proud of the first half of the chapter, and then pretty mixed on the 2nd half. i think i was worried it was too much for rindou's character, that i was making too big a departure for him. i kept having to rewrite because he would say something too sappy or eloquent. it was just a really hard chapter all around, so to hear that i not only thread that needle but it was one of THE most romantic things you've ever read? 🤯🤯🤯

Q: What is Villain: Redux?

A: It is a work of Powerpuff Girls fanfiction that I’ve been writing since November 2019 and I have published on both Fanfiction.Net and Archive of Our Own.

Q: Are you the same author as the original Villain PpG fanfic?/Is VillainR really an official rewrite of this old story?

A: Yes and yes. :)

Q: When does the story take place/How old are the PpG in VillainR?

A: The longfic has 3 major arcs. Part One takes place roughly 7 years after the events of the original series (when the Puffs were still of Kindergartner age) and opens when the Puffs are celebrating their 13th birthday. Part Two takes place 3 years after that, at age 16, and Part Three skips about another year and half and leads up to their 18th birthday.

Q: Does this story involve characters/elements from the 2016 PpG/What is considered canon in the VillainR universe?

A: Because of certain contradictions in both the 2016 series and in later episodes featured in seasons 5/6 of the OG series, I have decided to consider really only seasons 1-4 of the OG series as well as the Powerpuff Girls Movie when the series creator, Craig McCracken, was still the heart of the show as canon, and this is what is considered “in universe” for my Villain world.

Q: So is this one of those Highschool PpG fics?

A: It’s “aged up” Puffs for sure, but I’ve actively tried my best to avoid the usual high school tropes such as the mundane school setting. I prefer describing the fic as a “coming of age story plus superpowers” over a “teen drama.”

Q: What are the ships/romantic pairings in Villain: Redux?

A: Villain: Redux is not a ship fic. There are some romantic subplots but romance is NOT the main focus. I emphasize that because I understand a lot of readers actively seek romance and I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up for this very long slowburn fic. The romance is minimal, but the ships/pairings that are included alongside the major story’s events are: Blossom x Robin Snyder and Buttercup/Joey/Jojo Jr x Princess Morbucks

Q: Why do you keep referring to Buttercup as Buttercup/Joey/Jojo?

A: If you read the story, I’m sure you’ll understand as you get into Part Two. But to those who haven’t and are wondering why the multiple names in reference to the green Puff: The character is genderqueer/trans and eventually adopts both “Joey” and “Jojo Junior” as new names. So since I’m unable to know exactly where in the story a reader may be with reading, in all my posts I tag with the multiple names for the character.

Q: Why all the LGBT stuff?

A: Because I’m queer and I enjoy writing queer characters and for queer audiences. Always have and always will. See this ask/answered for more on that.

Q: What are your pronouns/What do I call you, the author?

A: Thanks for asking! My preferred pronouns are They/Them or She/Her, but since I’ve gone by “Yay Ninja Bob” and “Bobby” within the fandom since childhood I’ve gotten used to the accidental he/hims and personally I’m good with ALL pronouns as long as they are used with respect. I identify as queer and nonbinary. Calling me “Yay Ninja Bob”, “Bobby” and “Bob” are all fine and welcome! That IS me, lol. Adopting a “B” name used to be a trend once upon a time in the PpG fandom. But in my everyday average life, I’m called Ris. :)

Q: Why did you decide to rewrite Villain anyways?

A: 1) I always said I’d rewrite it someday, so I’m fulfilling that finally.

2) It’s my personal favorite story I’ve ever come up with- fanfic or original- and I wanted to improve upon it

3) Powerpuff Girls FOREVERRR, babyyyy!!! Lol, no seriously: This show saved my life multiple times- without a doubt. I just OWE it, I dunno… something… and well, fanfiction is the best that I got. :p Also the OG Villain gained some popularity in the fandom somehow lol and I got SO much love for it, that also yeah, I felt like I OWED the fans/readers of the original something better too.

Q: Where are the Rowdyruff Boys in this story?

A: They exploded at the end of their debut episode, and in Villain: Redux they remain dead and deceased. While they are not actively present in the story, they are referenced multiple times. In fact, their death/destabilization is a plot point to the story, sooo leading into the next FAQ and unfortunately MOST FAQ….

Q: Do you hate the Rowdyruff Boys?

A: NO.

i’ve been lucky enough that even tho i grew up in a conservative rural christian area that i’ve just like. known a lot of queer people. pretty sure i’ve told this story before but the first trans person i ever knew transitioned when i was in elementary or middle school and i just. legitimately thought i had their name wrong the whole time. no one explained it to me until i realized a couple years later. and then you have my mom ( @theaccidentallibrarian ) who’s bi, her best friend is pan, one of her former coworkers is gay, for a long time my neighbors were a gay couple, and in middle school one of my friends came out as bi (hi @sparingiscaring ) and another as ace so i’ve just been lucky in that it’s just always been normal. hell, i thought everyone was bi growing up. i’m not even mspec myself i just figured when i got older i’d be attracted to girls eventually.

our flag means death - tv show - a romcom between blackbeard and stede bonnet that just got renewed for season two babyyyy!! plus multiple queer background romances too!! many screen kisses between two men!! a nonbinary character that has a romantic interest and whose story doesn’t revolve around them being nonbinary!! one side character has 20 husbands (or. 18 now.) and she loves them all. it’s not even a “this is a world where homophobia doesn’t exist” wish fulfillment thing it’s a “anyone whose homophobic is explicitly framed as in the wrong and is punished for it” wish fulfillment and i love it

heartstopper - tv show/comic - honestly i didn’t buy into the hype and only just started reading the comic and oh my god it’s so good. a heartfelt coming of age between a gay boy whose been outed against his will in the past and a boy who had never questioned his sexuality before and just. idk it’s so nice to see a coming of age romcom but gay

yuri on ice - anime - a sports anime for non-sports anime fans. an ice skater returns home after losing in a competition and while he’s wallowing in his own sadness his idol shows up to his house demanding to be his coach. beautifully animated and such a good story of yuri trying his best to make viktor proud. they never explicitly say they’re dating, but they do exchange rings in a church and they kiss so like,,

what we do in the shadows - tv show - the three main vampires are all into boys and girls (actually thinking on it now i can’t recall if nadja has mentioned being with girls before? but nandor and lazlo definitely are into both) and it is a bit more of casual representation instead of driving the plot, but also,, pretty sure nandor and guillermo will be getting together in season four,,, (also s4 spoilers: pretty sure it’s been leaked that guillermo will get a boyfriend in s4 too, at least for a bit)

ouran high school host club - anime - okay. not explicitly trans but like. every transmasc i’ve ever met has related to haruhi on some level. also haruhi is my go to example when i explain my own label of cassgender since it’s not a common term and just. even without the trans coding it’s hilarious

zombieland saga - anime - more casual representation! a hilarious idol anime in which all the idols are zombies. and one of the zombies is explicitly trans! she was also shown in australian parliament because of this image.

Summary: Bakugou is very much....an asshole. A shithead. A professional dick if you will. And Y/N, being his girlfriend is very much aware of that. So when he takes it too far, she has to make sure he learns his lesson.

BAKUGOU’S MASTERLIST

“Hey babe!” Bakugou said as he walked into the living room to find his girlfriend reading a book. He plopped down next to her and just relaxed in the feeling of the soft cushion. The little shit felt like messing with his girlfriend today.

Y/N had already been having a pissy day. After arguing with her boss, forgetting a few items back at the grocery store, and losing her new pair of headphones, she just wanted some peace with her cup of tea and a good book. Now, she has her loving boyfriend to comfort her as well. This day was surely taking a turn...right?

“Hi love, need something?” You asked calmly with the most melodic voice. Your voice. His favorite sound in the world. The sound of you just put a smile on his face which is a huge oxymoron to what this motherfucker is about to say.

“Nah, just wanted to talk to my princess,” he said while resting his head on your stomach, resting in between your legs and wrapping his arms around your waist. You awed at him but didn’t notice his little devil smile. “I had the best dream last night.”

“About what Suki?” You asked while petting his soft hair.

“You.”

“Awweee,”

“Yeahhh. You went mute for the day. Fucking paradise.” Once the words left his mouth you stilled your actions and felt your eye twitch in annoyance. Your hand on his head stilled and slightly tugged at it. In any other circumstance, Bakugou would’ve groaned at the tug (kinky bastard) but he was too busy chuckling into your tummy.

You exhaled roughly through your nose and pushed Bakugou off of you in a very polite way. He rolled onto his back onto the actual couch and watched as you crossed your legs, close your book, and pick up your tea mug.

“Hmph!” Was all that you “said” as you tilted your nose to the air and walked away. Bakugou just snickered as you left. He thought it was adorable when you were mad over tiny inconveniences and thought it was hot as fuck when you were yelling at him, but today, you won’t be doing neither.

About 30 minutes had passed and Bakugou had awoken from his nap on the couch. He fell asleep after you walked away but now missed your touch. He sat up, stretched, and went to find you. He walked around the house until he spotted you relaxing in the jacuzzi in the backyard. He grinned at your relaxed look and went to change.

A few minutes later Bakugou had came out to join you in the hot tub. Your eyes were shut as you relaxed in the bubbling water, and so Bakugou was able to get in without being seen. He relaxed into the water as he scooted closer to you, eventually grabbing a hold of your waist.

“Hi baby,” he said as he attempted to place you in his lap but you looked at him with an unimpressed look as you scooted away. “Y/N?”

You grabbed your towel and stepped out of the tub. You wrapped yourself in the cloth as you walked back into the house, completely ignoring Bakugou as he spoke to you.

“Wha- you’re just gonna leave? I just got in with you,” he pouted. He opted to stay in the nice warm water for a bit but once you closed the door he groaned and sunk deeper into the water. He let the water go just above his mouth and right below his nose as he blew bubbles into the tub out of annoyance.

‘The fuck is up with her?’ He thought to himself.

Time passed and Bakugou came out the tub. He went back to his room to change into some gray sweats and a black long sleeve (and yes he pulled the sleeves up a bit because he knew you found it attractive and if y’all don’t, well I do).

He walked into the kitchen and spotted you seemingly eating dinner. He noticed a plate for him but kind of frowned at the fact that you didn’t wait for him. He saw you placed the plate on the other side of the island, far away from you, and so he pulled the plate over and took the seat next to you.

“Hey, princess? You gonna tell me what’s wrong?” He asked but you said nothing as you just ate in silence. “Silent treatment huh?” No words.

“Baby, is this about what I said? I was only kidding Y/N,” he said as he tried to wrap his arm around your waist but you pushed it off and he groaned. “Fine. Be that way, you’ll get over it. Come talk to me when you’re done acting like a brat.”

Bakugou just grunted as he ate his dinner in silence right next to you. You finished before him and walked away after you washed your dish and this time it was Bakugou who snubbed his nose in the air at you. If it was the silent treatment that you were gonna give then it was the silent treatment that you were gonna get....sorta.

“BABYYYY PLEASSEEEEE!!” He whined while poking at your leg. You were currently in your home office typing away at your computer doing work when Bakugou came in about 25 minutes after he finished his dinner. He couldn’t help himself. He missed you.

You continued to ignore Bakugou as he poked and shook you for attention. You gave him nothing all day and he was getting close to his limit. Please believe he wasn’t getting shit after that brat comment.

“Princessss, c’mon! It was a joke baby, let’s go to sleep, yeah?” He begged. You looked at him with a bored expression and saw his smile as you finally gave him something. You turned back to face your computer and his smile dropped again and was replaced with a scowl. “Y/N, I was just messing with you. I love the sound of your voice and I love you. So quit ignoring me and come give me love!” He demanded.

When he noticed you weren’t budging, he stood from his seat and pinched the bridge of his nose as he mentally counted.

‘1....2...3,’

He gave in and forcefully turned your chair and threw you over his shoulder. You didn’t speak to him but you squirmed and shook trying to get out of his grasp.

“Aye, aye,” he smacked your ass to get you to stop, “quit it. I’m tired, and I want sleep, and we both know I don’t sleep unless my teddy bear is with me, so shush.”

You looked at him when he told you to “shush.” As if you hadn’t been doing that all day. He just squinted his eyes as he knew what you were thinking. “You know what I mean shitty woman!”

Bakugou stormed into your shared bedroom and dropped you onto the mattress. You didn’t even try to run away. You had decided that, yes, you are indeed tired but you refused to give a certain blonde any attention. You stretched on the bed and Bakugou was in awe of your cute state but quickly snapped out of his trance when you turned on your side and gave him your back.

Bakugou got into bed along side you and scooted closer. He pressed himself against your back but once he made contact, you scooted farther away. And so, he scooted himself closer again but just like before, you scooted away. This went on about 2 more times before you scooted and fell off the bed.

“Y/N? You okay, love?” He asked as he looked down at you. You popped up from the floor, on your knees and grumbled to yourself as you vented quietly. You stood up and continued ranting as you tried to walk away to sleep on the couch but before you could get away from the king sized bed, Bakugou grabbed your wrist and pulled you on top of him. “Ignore me all you want but I’m not sleeping without my cuddles.”

You sighed as you gave in. You allowed him to hold you but you refused to speak. Bakugou rubbed circles onto your back as he inhaled your scent but he missed the sound of your voice. The sweet sound that was something similar to honey.

“Baby...I’m sorry.”

You looked at him when he apologized and raised your brow. A verbal, genuine, apology from Katsuki Bakugou? This you’ve gotta see.

“I know I shouldn’t have said that to you and even if I was only kidding......it was pretty fucking mean. ..But I hope you know I love the sound of your damn voice. I love you, dumbass. And I would never ask you to stay silent because....*sigh* ‘cuz your voice, you talking to me, you being with me, and just you in general keeps me sane. So I’m sorry. Okay? And I love you..” he said with a growing blush as he stared at you with a flustered face.

You smiled and went up to peck his lips and then give him a loving kiss. He jumped at the sudden contact but quickly melted into the kiss. He smiled as he finally got to revel in the sweet intimate moments like this. The sweet moments he’s been missing all day.

“I love you too Suki.” Oh how he craved to hear your voice. He loved the sweet sound and missed your loving tone. He pulled you in closer and just held you tight. He doesn’t plan on letting go.

“I’m so sorry. I will never make you upset like that ever again.” He bargained but you only shook your head.

“Katsuki, I was just messing with you today. I had an annoying day and that little joke just sent me over the edge but you know I never take your mean quips to heart. You’re rough around the edges but that’s just who you are and I don’t mind it. I love everything about you, even if you’re a jerk sometimes,” you teased and flicked at his nose. You giggled as he whined and tried to soothe the spot you hit. “You don’t have to censor yourself around me. Okay?”

Bakugou smiled even more. He loves you so damn much. Not only did you know he was just a little abrasive, but you accepted him for all his brunt behavior. You truly did love him. “Thanks princess,”

He sealed the deal with a sweet kiss to your temple as you giggled at the warm feeling of his soft lips. He pulled you down to his chest as you both cuddled up for the night. You sleeping is the only time Bakugou will ever be okay with you being silent. But never again will he ever allow himself to get the silent treatment.

A/N: Guys, I’m so sorry. I’ve been in such a slump and I feel like im reaching a writers block. It’s not even like I don’t have any ideas, I do! And I even have multiple unfinished pieces in my drafts but I just don’t have any motivation to finish :( sorry Cubs, don’t worry, I’ll try my best to finish them as quick as I can. Idk, should I take a break?

I’m already in the middle of a story and I don’t wanna leave those who are reading on a cliffhanger.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring. I groaned and pressed the snooze button. I laid there for a moment, hoping I could go back to sleep with no success. I sat up and turned my alarm off. I opened the curtains and frowned at the blinding beam of sunlight. I rubbed my eyes and walked to my bathroom. I did my usual morning routine; washed my face and figure out what I’m going to eat and what kind of coffee I’ll get today.

I decided to just pick up some Starbucks and stay in today. Last night was definitely an eyeopener for me. I mean, at my first music related event.. ever.. I get into a fight with my best friend. Who you would think would understand why you’re a bit upset in the first place. I sigh, of course I miss him or whatever but I’m not apologizing first. Petty as it might be, he had no right to call me childish and blow up on me.

I connect my phone to my speaker and decide to tidy up the apartment. Since Carly moved out to live with her boyfriend, things have been kind of lonely. I open all the blinds and the door to the balcony, letting the fresh air in. I start by collecting all the trash around the apartment. I get wrapped up in my own little world for a few hours, just cleaning and dancing. Enjoying this time to myself. After about four straight hours of cleaning the apartment looked good as new. I opened my fridge and noticed it was mostly empty. I decided to take another look at the apartment and figure out what I need to stock up on. Some cleaning supplies, food, and some make up things. Which means it’s time for... a Target trip!

Normally I would call my friends and ask if anyone wanted to join me, but lately I’ve been wanting to spend time alone. Learning about myself again, healing. I know my friends just care about me, but sometimes being around so many people, some who feel like they should walk on eggshells around you, and having to answer the same questions over and over and over again can be... overwhelming.

My thoughts are interrupted by a knock at my door. I plead silently that there’s not a surprise group of people behind the door. I sigh and look through the peephole and my breath hitches.. good news, it’s not a huge group of my friends, bad news is I’d recognize that jawline anywhere.

“I’m not gonna lie, you look like shit” I say, opening the door and Jeff looks up

“H-... excuse me?” He asks, a light smile on his face. I move to the side and gesture for him to come in

“Sorry, I didn’t even ask if you were busy or anything” He says, I shrug my shoulders and we both sit on the couch

“Uh, I mean not particularly. I was just about to head out to Target and run some errands, but those can wait. Is there something you want to talk about?” I reply, he lets out a big sigh and looks down

“I just wanted to apologize for my behavior these past few days and it’s completely unacceptable. I’m not sure why I’ve been so angry lately. I know that’s no excuse for my behavior but I wanted you to know I’m really sorry. I feel horrible, I haven’t gotten any sleep.. that’s probably why I look like shit.” Jeff says, a flurry of emotions flood through my but I remain calm

“Thank you for apologizing. You know it really hurt me when you said those things. It was one of the most important nights of my music career, and I just wanted your support. And as much as I appreciate the apology I still think it’s best we take things slow. I’m still kind of upset about it” I explain, Jeff nods in understanding

“I totally get it, maybe I can take you out to dinner some time?” He asks, a glimmer of hope in his eyes and I smile

“Wittek, last chance. I’ll go to Target and we can have dinner here tonight” I reply, his lips spread into a smile and he gives me a hug

“Can I come with you?. I have to get some things for my house. I propose, dinner, ice cream, and a movie?” Jeff asks, I think about it for a bit and nod

We walk down to his truck. Jeff rushes to the passenger side and opens the door for me. I chuckle and slide into the passenger seat. He closes the door with a smile and walks over to the driver’s side. Jeff turns on the radio, and starts silently singing along. This is nice. Although Jeff hurt me I can forgive him. He’s been going through some stuff lately and I’ve been in his position before. I’m lost in my thoughts but we finally arrive at Target.

We finish our errands pretty quickly, I decided to vlog some of it and maybe make it a ‘day in the life’ kind of thing. Jeff offers to cook for us and I agree.

“Are you sure you know how to cook?” I ask, the two of us in the check out line

“Babe, you think my mom didn’t raise me right?” He asks, I giggle and reach to pay for my things. Jeff quickly grabs my card and replaces it with his

“Well.. you definitely know how to win me over huh?” I ask, he winks at me and grabs the bags

“I’ve known you for years now, of course I know everything about you” He replies, I shrug and get in the car

“Hey get out, I didn’t open the door for you” he says, standing by the door and resting his hands on the roof

“Stop, you’re making me all hot and bothered” I reply, turning away from him as he laughs. He closes the door and we drive back to my apartment

We take our stuff upstairs and Jeff starts making food and I change into something more comfortable; an oversized shirt and boxers. I walk out and set up the couch and turn on the TV. We decide on Parasite, I’ve watched it before but Jeff hasn’t seen it. Jeff brings over our plates and we watch the movie.

“Wow, this is really good” I say, Jeff smiles widely

“It’s my mom’s secret recipe” He replies, he places his plate down and pulls me closer. I awkwardly move away and grab our plates and start cleaning up.

“You alright?” Jeff asks, I turn off the water and dry my hands

“Because we’re gonna get into this thing again and I can’t. You know I have feelings for you and you can’t just make me fall in love every time and then leave me” I explain, Jeff’s eyes soften and he gets closer to me

“I’ve had these past few days to reflect on myself.. and us. I really really like you too. I just said those things because I can’t allow myself to be happy. I wanna be happy, and I wanna be happy with you” He replies, I feel tears well in my eyes

“Jeff. I can’t.. I can’t let you hurt me anymore” I say, he places a hand on the side of my face

“Can you give me one more chance?” He asks, leaning closer and I cave.. I fucking cave into Jeff again

He places his lips on mine, gentle at first but soon all our hidden emotions come to the forefront. I can’t help but to think.. how’s Jeff gonna hurt me this time.
