Currently having some late night thoughts..

I just twote about 8H placements preferring to hide their talents & honestly even tho we know 8H placements come with secrecy it’s still somewhat baffling to me.

Because, why do we do that??

Then it hit me that it’s probably due to a sort of sense of “self preservation”.

Almost like if we share ourselves with others, we will lose a part of ourselves in some way..

Also the fact that the 2H is value, the 8H is lack, & is also what/how other people value things..

Which means we also expose us to potential devaluation if the way they gauge us isn’t “as much” as the way we defined our own worth.

This devaluation would equate to them “ruining” / “damaging” our worth in a way hence the need to self preserve.

I’ll never befriend another girl that I have 8th house synastry with. They almost always turn out to be a frenemy. Well, it’s only happened to me twice lmao but that’s enough times for me considering I make a new friend like once every two years.

I have sun + Venus in the 8th house and both times, these girls went after a boy they knew i had a crush on. And they would always lowkey act mean towards me whenever the opposite sex showed me attention and i would get bad vibes from them but i used to be so pressed to have friends that i would just ignore it.

hello, i will only be answering half of this ask today because i do have an ask for the aspect part of this ask! @die33u i will 100% tag you in the post so you can receive the answer you seek!

i want to preface to all the other readers of this post that planet placement is NOT the only thing you should look at in synastry - aspects help to create the full picture of all situations. also i tend to do synastry and composite stuff together - don’t judge me, it just makes sense to me.

venus 8h (synastry): venus person likely appreciates the reputation 8h person has with those around them. venus person often wished to ally with 8h person in all joint ventures. venus person often experiences contentment with their sex life with 8h person; often feeling that they have reached a new level of amorousness, eroticism, flirtation, intimacy, and gratification. 8h person may feel they can be a bit less serious around the venus person.

venus 8h (composite): this couple often marries and often has all their stuff entangled in the relationship: both names are on the lease, the bank account is in both names, etc. sometimes i see this and i am reminded of “the feminine mistake” - the feminine is dependent on the masculine; common in stay at home wives and mothers. they are removed from the workforce and have no money of their own so if they ever feel they wish to leave the relationship they find they can’t financially do so. they are stuck in whatever situation they are in and feel they can’t leave. i commonly see the separation of this couple leads to ailmony or still being tied to the person due to money entanglement. these people typically have children or a child together (the money thing is still true because of child support in this situation as well if their is no monetary entanglement or dependency in terms of financials and separation). and if none of those situations, one of the people of this coupling tends to be the sole inheritor of the others property upon death. this couple has a lot of passion and love for one another and generally has a healthy sex life and companionship as a couple if no other aspect(s) interfere with this planet's position.

One of my friends (A) got into a relationship and we're meeting up on Friday with two other friends who are semi in a relationship

I'll save the rant and venting for my own diary but I guess I'm just super depressed right now? There was a cute boy who came over for dinner last Saturday and I was talking to two of them about him (excluding one because she's a lesbian) and A was like oh bestie if you add him on ig now it'll look super sus

I'm usually not someone who would be affected if I'm determined but I guess it's because I don't have experience in this area so I'm just wavering

I keep trying to push away feelings of wanting a relationship by blaming a grocery list of insecurities and past trauma (see: commitment issues, abandonment issues and ✨more✨) but honestly at this point everything just feels like a lie to me. But I also know (mostly a premonition but it has truth in it) that if I chose the wrong person for my first relationship it'll end up terrible for me, and I have a bad feeling that my first relationship will end up very bad

Anyways. My rational brain tells me that I shouldn't get into a relationship for the sake of it - which is true and wise - and to only find someone I click with instead of chasing after some random person. But my dumb monkey brain propelled by hormones and affected by my friends are telling me to do the same thing because while watching people be dumb in love is fun, the same punchline gets boring after time. And also I guess the peer pressure from people are just growing stronger and stronger 🐸 can all my gay friends also stop fucking asking me whether I'm in a relationship or not

(perhaps I should feel pleasantly surprised that my friend seem surprised that I've never been in a relationship before, but then again he doesn't really know me)

Anyways I guess the conclusion is if someone could take a look at my 11H Chiron, 8H Scorpio Venus, 8H Libra Mars and natal Venus retrograde I'll love you to bits <3

My relationship with my boyfriend was definitely taboo and we upset a few people lol. We tried to keep it a secret for as long as possible but it didn’t take long for people to catch on lol. We’ve been together on and off for about 5 years now and it was honestly my fault for the times we were off😭. I didn’t realize how flawed i was and how much work i needed to do on myself until i started dating him. 2H Plutos have the universe with them financially. Even when they reach a low point financially, the universe always catches them. Ei, a 2H Pluto naive has $20 in their bank account, a few days later they get an additional $150. Then a few days later, they get an additional $300.

Don’t mess with someone with a Cancer Moon with an Aries Mars. They know express and feel their emotions and how to translate them and aren’t going to hesitate when needing to express themselves. Especially when they’re yelling at someone. You can see and feel the impact and how they’re feeling and their anger is very intimidating. NGL, they’re kinda scary when they’re mad.

🍄 These types of connections (romantic or platonic) can't be lighthearted; if there is genuine care within the dynamic intensity is very likely.

🍄 You have to consciously tell yourself to "not react" in moments when the other person fails to meet your expectations.
