See, the thing about Time Lords is that they are notoriously competitive. Particularly Time Lords of different regenerations in the same place at the same time. Particularly Time Lords of different regenerations in the same place at the same time who both had (or was it has?) the same companion. Said companion was you. Said Time Lords were the Tenth and the Eleventh regenerations of the Doctor.
When the eleventh Doctor had spouted his way out of a portal and into the tenth’s console room, there had been rather a lot of shouting, a lot of confusion, and a lot of use of the word ‘paradox.’ Quite frankly, if you never heard that word ever again it would be far too soon.
After that, there was a lot of discussion around Eleven not being able to be there because he already knew how all this was going to go. All the things Ten had yet to live, Eleven had already been through and while it was general knowledge that one should not attempt to change one’s own past- one was not always able to control oneself if that particular opportunity should arise.
They’d tried pretty hard at first to figure out how to get him back. There was some ‘timey wimey’ reason as to why they couldn’t just use the TARDIS, and that had been about the extent of time and space travel knowledge you had, so you didn’t put any other suggestions in after that.
And so, Eleven was still with you six months later.
You didn’t know, of course, that Eleven still had you with him after Ten was due to regenerate in the future, not that you knew when that was, but what you also didn’t know until about a month into Eleven’s presence was that your relationship with Ten continued on with Eleven after a brief adjustment period. Fair enough.
And then Ten found out, and as they were both technically (but also not really) the same person, you ended up sleeping with them both. It had been their idea, though you were pretty sure that it had just sort of happened and they decided to take the credit.
Anyway, all this to say- Ten and Eleven knew how to play your body like a violin, and when they worked together it was as if they moved in tandem. It’s own kind of chaotic different to when they were feuding. They did that a lot too, to be fair.
Today it seemed as though they wanted to work as one. Riling you up every way they knew how. Lingering touches in bed, a hard squeeze on the way past you, whispered words of desire in corridors and spare rooms. Ten had rutted himself up against your thighs at some point and had unfortunately had to leave before he or yourself could finish- some urgent TARDIS thing.
Eleven had you pressed into the wall of his bedroom and had you grind yourself silly on his thigh. You’d not been able to get off, and Eleven had tutted when you’d whined that you needed more. You’d practically begged him, but he’d said no- “later, Petal.”
Things had continued on like that, teasing and close calls where whomever it was teasing you had to run for whatever reason.
Of course- they’d been planning it that way. The two of them, working together to get you as desperate as they possibly could so that when they finally had at you, you’d succumb to the pleasure with no thoughts left in your pretty little head.
“Oh, look at that,” Ten said from behind you, pinning your legs open with his own. You made some sort of sound- you weren’t even sure it sounded human. “Haven’t even been fucking into you for that long yet- already fucked dumb, love.”
Ten’s hands were wrapped around your waist, squeezing comfortingly as Eleven laid one hand on your knee and the other on your breast, flicking at the nipple while he fucked his hard cock into you over and over without mercy.
“Mm- she does, rather, doesn’t she?” Eleven commented, taking the hand on your breast to grab you by the chin and turn your face side to side. With your muscles so lax, you didn’t fight the motion, and Eleven wasn’t being rough with you anyway (yet) so it wasn’t a big deal. You whimpered, eyes screwing shut and head lolling against Ten’s shoulder. “Desperate little thing, aren’t you, love?”
You could barely form a response, tears welling as Eleven found a particularly good spot and rammed his cock into it repeatedly. Your muscles were non-existent by this point, having been eaten out twice and fingered to completion once on top of that as well. Ten had to keep your legs spread with his own, and he did so without complaint. Getting to see Eleven fuck you silly over the top of your shoulder was more than enough of an incentive for him.
On top of barely being able to form a response to anything your boys were saying, you could barely keep your eyes open. You were so cockdrunk that nothing was registering for you except the deep thrusting of Eleven’s cock into your g-spot over and over like a mantra you never wanted to end.
And because you were unable to keep your eyes open for more than two seconds at a time, you didn’t notice Ten’s fingers trailing over your hips to rub at your clit. You felt it though, and Ten had to tighten his muscles to keep you from snapping your legs shut around Eleven’s hips.
“Oh, my darling,” Ten cooed, pressing a kiss to the top of your ear. “I know, darling. I know, love. It’s so much. It’s too much. You can do it, oh yes, I know you can. You’re such a good girl for us, aren’t you?” It was all you could do to not start crying with the overstimulation.
And it wasn’t to say you didn’t feel good. You felt fucking amazing, so so good, but it was so much. So much pleasure firing through your nerve endings. You could feel how puffy and swollen your lips were stretched around Eleven and it only served to make you cry out louder.
“Hush now, dear,” Eleven said, pressing his hand over your mouth to keep you quiet. You didn’t argue, whole body limp against their whims. Whatever they wanted, you would give it to them. Anything at all.
Eleven grinned breathily, and fucked up into you harshly, not seeming to care how fucked out you were in the slightest. You wriggled against the fingers on your clit, and clung to Ten as though he were your lifeline.
“There there,” Ten said softly, fingers rubbing tight little circles. “Oh, darling, oh yes, I know. He’s so mean to you, isn’t he? Mhm. Oh yes.”
Eleven grumbled though it evened out into a moan when your cunt fluttered around him. His head dropped forward, already mussed hair falling into a curtain in front of his eyes. He gave his hips a few especially hard rolls, and your eyes fazed out onto the ceiling above you.
“Oh, look at that, Doctor,” Ten said, cooing and shushing you comfortingly. “We thought she was fucked out before. Look at her now. Maybe we should give her a break, eh?”
Eleven grunted, hips rocking softly now for a moment, giving himself time to think on it.
“Nah, don’t think so,” Eleven replied, getting back into his rhythm.
Ten’s fingers revived their assault, rubbing against you with such ferocity that you were afraid you might actually combust. Your mouth opened in a silent scream as your body forced you to climax again, the pleasure bordering on pain with how intense it was. Your clit almost felt like it was burning- and yet you didn’t want it to stop. Ten shushed you gently, rubbing his nose along the shell of your ear and pressing kisses to your sweaty hair as your body spasmed between them.
Your cunt contracting harshly around Eleven forced him to cum, ropes of his seed painting inside you. The heat of them- warmer than a humans- filled you up so nicely that you were genuinely concerned under the foggy waves of pleasure that you might start crying.
Eleven rode his high out with your body, no care given for your poor overstimulated cunt, and finally when the last rolls of pleasure were done with him, he pulled himself out. He did so slowly, and you grimaced slightly at the tug of your puffy walls around him.
Eleven cooed and pressed a kiss to your cheek to placate you.
Ten let his legs slide down the bed, and yours followed accordingly, unable to hold themselves up for even another minute more. God, you were well and truly fucked. Literally, not figuratively (at the moment, anyway). You lolled back against him, nuzzling your cheek into his neck.
You hadn’t even noticed Eleven leave, but you definitely noticed him returning, towel in hand and water dripping off his face. Ah, he’d gone to clean up.
“Now, Ten, dearest, are you planning to fuck her before we all retire for the evening?” Eleven asked without much charm. He was just like that. You didn’t take offence. In fact, his crass command of language was one of the things that made you love him more. “Only asking in relation to clean up, of course.”
You could feel Ten hard against your backside, and you gave a half-hearted attempt to grind up against him. You were quite sore, but you wouldn’t say no if he wanted to use you.
“Can fuck ‘er tits if you like,” Eleven added, noting the way your legs subconsciously closed themselves. The ache was intense, but you considered it an added bonus to the pleasure you’d just been subjected to.
“Oh, big load of charming you are,” Ten scolded. “Blimey, you’re lucky I was there to lay the foundations for you both or you’d have had no chance.”
“Now, now, boys,” you said- the first words in a fair while to come out of your mouth and it was to stop them bickering. Even your voice sounded as though it had been thoroughly ravaged.
“Can I?” The Doctor asked, turning his attention back to you. One of his hands squeezed at your tit, and you swore you could feel the lust rolling off him in waves from that one action alone. You nodded tiredly. Of course, he could.
Ten leaned you forward so he could escape from behind you. Eleven took his spot without issue, pulling you up to sit against him rather than lay against him as you did with Ten.
Eleven brushed the hair behind your ear as Ten positioned himself in front of you. You looked up at his eager face, running a hand over his chest and down over his tummy to wrap around his upper thigh.
Just as you were about to let go and hold your breasts together for him, Eleven’s big, warm hands took their place, pressing against your skin, one forefinger flicking at a nipple quickly just to tease.
“You’re so gorgeous,” Ten breathed, dribbling some lube onto your tits. “So brilliant, love. Just like that- oh, yes- f-fuck.”
“Look at him,” Eleven whispered hotly into your ear. “Not even started yet and already stuttering.”
You let out a giggle of a whimper, and Ten’s hips started to rock against you. Your tired arms wrapped around the backs of his thighs, giving his ass a little squeeze.
Ten groaned, fucking your tits desperately. He wasn’t going to last long after having been teasing you and therefore himself as well all day, and it was barely another two minutes before his cock was starting to twitch and he started to moan with that lilt that he always did when he was close to spilling.
“Please,” you whined, head dropping back against Eleven’s shoulder. “Ten, please- Doctor-”
“Well, you heard the lady,” Eleven tutted, pushing your tits together that little bit harder to create a touch more friction for him. “You’d better cum then, shouldn’t you?”
Ten groaned, throwing his head back and exposing his gorgeous neck to you both. Eleven nipped at the tip of your ear, causing you to gasp.
“Cum on me, please- I need it,” you whined, brows drawing inwards in desperation. Ten seemed to finally hear you, and he let out a desperate little ‘o-hoh, yes, fuck-’ and he was cumming, spilling over your tits, rolling his hips back and forth to make sure he got the most out of his orgasm.
You groaned pleasurably as Eleven let go of your breasts. A drip of cum dribbled off the curve of your tit and onto Eleven’s hand, who deftly and without hesitation licked it up.
You were so fucked out and so busy thinking about how covered in spend you were that you barely noticed as Ten decided to collapse softly on top of you both. He snuggled close, not caring about the fact that he was now also covered in his own cum as well, and you huffed out a grunt.
“Oh, that’s just lovely,” Eleven said sarcastically, now being crushed under two grown people. “Now I’m trapped. I suppose you’re both happy, aren’t you?”
You giggled out a nod, and you could see Ten trying to contain his laughter as well.
“Alright,” you say, yawning tiredly. Wow, that came out of nowhere. Suddenly you were oh-so-tired. “Ten minutes of cuddles and then it’s group shower time, yes?”
“Maybe fifteen,” Ten replied tiredly.
“Yes, dears,” Eleven added, and you could hear the affectionate roll of his eyes.
Was it wrong, perhaps, to wish that Eleven would stay forever? Possibly. Was it going to stop you from wishing it quietly to yourself anyway?
Absolutely not.

Say It
tenth doctor x fem!reader
Warnings: smut. praise, edging, dom!doctor.
MINORS DNI
First time ever writing smut. oh god.
Summary: After feeling insecure about her body, (previous chubby!reader, but can be read by non-chubby reader I think), the Doctor shows Y/n just how much he loves it.
Tumblr media
"Say it." He commands, voice thick. Y/n's mouth stays open as she looks up to the ceiling, her thick thighs wrapped around the Doctor as he thrusts into her pussy. "Now."
"I-I can't." She manages to cry out, eyes closing tightly as the knot in her belly tightens. The Doctor growls, digging his nails into her hips, the mixture of the spark of pain and pure pleasure making her clench around him.
"Be a good girl and say it." He grunts as his hips thrust harder and faster. Y/n moans loudly as he brushes against her clit with every push. The noise is probably enough to wake Rose from down the corridor, but if anything, that just motivates the Doctor more.
"Please, I-" She's on the verge of coming, and he knows, so he slows down.
"Say it!" He yells, his hips slowing to an almost stop, causing a whine of desperation and protest to leave Y/n's lips. "If you don't say it, I won't let you cum."
"Oh, my-" Y/n whimpers, her face heating as she shyly avoids his eyes. He removes one hand from her hip and forcefully turns her head to meet his.
"I'll stop." He threatens.
In an act of desperation as the feeling begins to dissipate with his halted movements, Y/n quickly mutters the words he had been demanding of her since the beginning. Since he kissed her neck, then her belly, then her thighs. When he mumbled while sucking her clit, to now as he demands her to say it as he pushes into her so deep. "I'm perfect."
To taunt her further, he leans down, still refusing to move his hips as his cock was buried in her soaking sex. "Couldn't hear you."
"I'm perfect!" She screams. Begs. He smirks, finally satisfied as he begins to move again, causing a gasp to leave both of their lips.
"That's it," He praises softly, giving her a quick kiss before resuming to his vigorous thrusting. "such a good girl. Well done, my angel. And you know what happens to good girls, don't you?" He teases, their skin slapping and headboard banging filling the room. "They get rewarded."
With that, he uses his fingers to rub her clit as he fucks her. She moans loudly, tits bouncing with every hard plunge of his cock deep into her. "Cum for me, angel." He whispers, the feeling of her clenching around him urging him to his own release. "Fuck, angel, cum for me, you can do it."

Headcanons: 10th Doctor x Autistic!Reader established relationship
A/N: I've been rewatching the 9th and 10th Doctors' series recently, and found myself getting attached all over again, so I've decided to add the Tenth Doctor to my list of characters I write for! Enjoy!
The reader here is gender-neutral.
Content warnings: None.
Tumblr media
Loves any happy stims you have! He finds that it makes your joy more contagious – and since his positive energy tends to similarly rub off on you, he gets to see you stim often, to his delight.
Like Thirteen, he’s genuinely interested in any toys or jewellery you may use to stim, and likes to learn about how it helps you. If he comes across anything that might serve a similar purpose for you during his trips, he won’t hesitate to get it for you, if possible.
He listens enthusiastically to you when you talk about your special interest(s). While he may struggle with explicit verbal affection, he more than makes up for it by giving you his full attention, and watching with sheer adoration as you engage with the things you love.
Even if you can't tell how he feels about you from his facial expression alone, you can rest assured that once there's someone else around you (especially if it's Donna), you'll be made aware by them teasing him relentlessly for his heart-eyes.
Once again, there’s a sensory room in the TARDIS all for yourself! It has everything you could need to calm down from sensory overload, meltdowns, or just feeling a bit “off”.
The Doctor won’t go in unless you explicitly allow him to – though admittedly, he's happy if you do, because he also gets some use out of some of the stim and sensory items!
While he’s often quite energetic, he knows when to calm down, if you get overstimulated. You may not always be able to avoid things that make you feel that way in your adventures, but he’s mindful in finding ways to help you endure it, at least until you make it back to the TARDIS.
Those moments where his darker, “oncoming storm” side comes out can be a bit complicated. He'll most likely tell you to go back to the TARDIS, because he doesn’t want you to get overwhelmed from seeing him like that, but he usually also needs you there to reign him in.
By the time you’re together, you’ve come to recognise this, and always focus on stopping him from going too far. He feels awful if you do get overwhelmed, so he’ll either give you some space for as long as you need it, or stay with you to help you calm down, depending on what you want.
If you lose speech for any reason, or are nonverbal, the Doctor will gladly talk enough for the two of you, and will immediately steer anyone who asks any uncomfortable questions about it away from the subject. He also isn’t afraid to call them out if they don’t relent.
He'll do anything you need to keep you safe during your travels, because he genuinely loves being with you!

Midnight Dances (10th Doctor x Gn! Reader)
Midnight Dances (10th doctor x gn! reader)
Word count -   1753
Warnings - tons of fluff with angst sprinkled in
Pairing(s) - 10th doctor x Gn! Reader
Summary - You show The Doctor a few new moves
Tumblr media
Never travel alone. That was the one piece of advice The Doctor always seemed to get. But, no matter how hard he tried he always lost everyone. Some would call him a hero, others a villain. He would call himself a lost cause, a soul floating alone in the wide universe desperate for a friend.
He never viewed his past companions in a negative light. For him, they sparkled like diamonds in the Gallifrey suns. Only to be tarnished by the sadness that seemed to wash over him if he sat and thought about them for too long.
Especially Rose, always Rose. She was one of the special ones. The one that saw him for who he truly was and still choose to stay and even love him. Gods did he truly love her. She was everything to him, and that’s why it pained him so badly to say goodbye and that's why he’d never let something like that happen again. At least not if he could help it.
The Doctor needed a break, he needed to go somewhere where he wasn’t a walking hazard to everyone around him. Where ever he went trouble always seemed to follow, and he wanted to desperately avoid that this time. He wanted to live up to his name this time around and actually do some good (at least good in his eyes).
So, he sent the Tardis to 14th-century England. The good old renaissance period! He wasn’t exactly sure what he was expecting when it came to showing up in this period. If anything he’d just walk around watching the humans as they were a little more native during this period, and maybe even eat one of those big turkey legs. He always wondered how humans were able to simply eat a turkeys leg that big. But, that's humans for you - always finding new ways to eat things.
With a small hum, he parked the Tardis in a discreet corner and trudged around the town square. A tiny shadow of a smile began to tug at his lips as he let his eyes wander around the town. The hustle and bustle of it all warmed his heart. Slowly but surely he spun around trying to get the full effect of everything that was happening around him.
Sudden music lit up the town as he walked deeper into the heart of the square and everyone seemed to happily join in on the fun. Respectfully he kept his distance from it all. He wanted to watch for now instead of interrupt things. However, that plan was practically destroyed when he saw you.
You were in the center of what looked like to be a dance circle. Spinning, dancing, and clapping to your heart's content. The Doctor felt both his hearts melt at the same time and knew he was truly in for it now.
Without even realizing it he began to walk closer to the action, or if he was being truthful- closer to you. You were like the warmest bit of sunshine the universe had to offer, and he was freezing to death. The simple sight of you was enough to grip him by his wacky tie and pull him deep down for a wild ride he had no idea he signed up for.
Whilst you were dancing you couldn’t help the smile that graced your features. You weren’t relatively sought after on any other normal day. Being the daughter of the village's flower seller didn’t come with any amazing dowry. However, when you danced during the festival heads turned. You secretly adored the attention, any person surely would.
However, this night was different and you couldn’t put your finger quite on why. Until you saw him. The tall handsome stranger that seemed to only have eyes for you. He wore the strangest clothes you had ever seen. But, they seemed to fit him rather well. Your eyes mainly wanted to focus on his deep brown chocolate eyes and the messiest hair you’d ever seen.
As he seemed to get closer and closer to you, you reached out your hand silently asking for a dance. The whole world seemed to stop as he slowly glanced down at your hand and then back up to your eyes. His right eyebrow rose up almost to ask if you truly meant it. To this, you nodded and noticed the sweetest gentle smile that rose to his lips upon seeing this.
Even The Doctor, the oncoming storm, couldn’t deny nor fight the spark that rose within him when he finally took your hand in his. Excitedly, you practically dragged him into the center and let the music move your feet. Both of The Doctor’s heart’s raced against his chest as you lead him in a semi-traditional dance. His eyes were glued to your feet desperately trying to save you from the pain of him accidentally stepping on you.
You, however, would not settle for this. Gently you stopped and took his chin in your fingers lifting his head up to meet yours again. With the warmest smile on your face you took one of his hands and guided it to your waist, and helped the other up with your hand. Lacing his fingers with yours, which seemed to make the entire universe halt to a standstill.
“Ready?” He said taking the biggest breath his lungs could manage.
“Always,” you replied with an eager grin on your face.
“Well in that case,” he paused for dramatic effect (time lords were drama kings but you knew this already) “, ALLONS-Y!” He cheered along with the crowd.
This was when he truly let loose, showing you exactly what he was made of. Each giggle that escaped your lips only pushed him further as he skipped with you throughout the dance circle. Lifting you high into the air, you practically felt like you were flying. When he did bring you back to earth, you could feel yourself slowly fall in love. You two spun and twirled, and he even managed a few dips in there.
“And here I thought you weren't a dancer!” You giggled as he spun you in a lift, that giggle being music to his ears.
“Well, you know what they say…. You have dancing shoes with nimble shoes. I have a soul of lead.” he spoke fast trying to brush over the fact that what he said hit too close to home, and that he just ripped off a future playwright.
The evening seemed to fly by with the brightest colors. You and The Doctor were stuck to each other like paper and glue, and neither of you wanted to leave the other's sight. You showed him everything your small English town had to offer, and he even got to impress you by buying you whatever you wanted from the local vendors.
“Wait so you’re saying you’ve never had a turkey leg?” You over dramatically gasped as you stared at him with wide eyes. In which he swore he could see stars.
“Yep!” he said popping the ‘p’ “What is that so hard to believe?” He raised an eyebrow trying to keep a serious expression. But, that was proven impossible by what happened next.
You shoved a turkey leg into his hands as you looked up expectantly. “Yes it is, try it!” You sassed not leaving him any room to question you. Well here went nothing. The things people (and timelords) did when falling in love right? Closing his eyes he bit into it, and surprisingly it wasn’t…the worst. In fact, it was far from it. “Oh my goodness this is brilliant! What legs will you humans think of eating next?” he chuckled shaking his head as he prepared himself for another bite.
There you stood utterly bewildered by the fact that this man in front of you could look at life with as much excitement and joy as you did. But, perhaps that’s because he called you lot humans instead something…..normal. Which, should have worried you more than it did. Maybe all you needed was a man from the stars to truly understand you, to whisk you away to far-off places, and help you never return again. But, that was just wishful thinking.
As the night came to a close you couldn’t help but feel a bit sad at the fact that you might never see this handsome stranger ever again. But, perhaps that’s all you were ever meant to be. Just two passing ships in the night.
You two walked aimlessly back to the center of town where it all began, and The Doctor paused for a brief moment. Thinking that what he was going to say next he might regret in the future, but he had to let his hearts try. At least one last time.
“So, listen tonight was great…fantastic even and I was-”
“Doctor listen if you’re trying to let me down easy, just tell me I’m used to it by now.” you cut him off nervously and his eyes widened.
“What no! I was wondering if you’d like to come back to my erm…box I’d love to show you something.” Once that sentence left his lips he inwardly cringed, that never EVER came out right.
Your face scrunched up hearing this “Show me something….in your box?” you asked awkwardly. So, he was crazy. Leave it to you to fall in love with the crazy visitor.
“It’s about as weird as it sounds, but trust me it’ll blow-oh just come with me.” he huffed taking your hand in his once more and tugging you towards his Tardis.
Jokingly, you rolled your eyes finding it hard to keep up with him at times. “Well, Allons-y then.” you teased repeating him from earlier that night.
Upon seeing the strange blue box your suspicions were only raised. At least he wasn’t lying about the box part. Your eyes flicked back and forth between The Doctor and the box. A soft grin lay on his face as he opened the door.
“Please you first,” he said holding the door wide open for you.
Sighing, you swallowed your courage and walked into The Doctor’s box not even slightly prepared for what you were about to see.
Your eyes widened as you danced around the center console room trying to grasp what exactly was happening.
What fell out of your lips was The Doctors absolute favorite part of gaining a new companion. “It’s bigger on the inside!” you gasped.
The Doctor smiled.

The Tenth Doctor x Companion!Reader: Kiss
Tumblr media
Summary: You can only hope he’ll give you more credit in the future...and maybe more kisses, too.
Rating/Tags: All (Post-Rose; Human!Reader; Mechanic!Reader)
Challenge: “160 Collective Drabbles” challenge by BobaPop on Lunaescence Archives.
Tag List: @imaginesfire
Notes: Hey! I only saw Doctors 9 and 10, and the latter I stopped watching after Martha left due to becoming a busy college student who wanted to spend most of her time sleeping and watching anime with her friends. Thus A) This is probably not all that accurate and B) Please don’t send requests for more Doctor Who-related things, because I haven’t watched a single episode since, like, 2010, and I’m not likely to start again now.
Kiss
Would it be cliché of you to remark that, when you decided to run away from your Podunk town hand in hand with a who-knew-how-powerful alien, you had not expected so much running? Yes. Yes, it would. Besides that, the Doctor had made it pretty clear just how in shape you needed to be on that first little adventure of yours back on Earth. What you had not expected, even after several weeks, months, years (you weren’t really sure how long it had been), was that the save of the day would once rely on your running.
“Get back to the TARDIS!” the Doctor snapped, when you’d spun about to help him.
The entire venture had been your idea–a mechanical planet? Well, it turned out to be more a planet inhabited by mechanical beings, a bit like Cars, but not ridiculous–and that seemed to rankle him more than usual. You stood, blinking at him, until the ground began to shake underneath your feet. The Doctor gestured wildly for you to run off.
“You’ve got a better chance of getting it going in this mess than I do," he said. "Go!”
You knew better than to ignore a direct order. The Doctor had reminded you only that morning that failure to obey him would land you right back home working endless hours at the body shop with no hope of bigger and brighter things ahead. Still, the thought that you could fix the TARDIS was laughable, and you figured that the Doctor only wanted you out of the way long enough to prevent you from getting crushed.
Sure enough, the only problem was that the Doctor had left the emergency brake on. Again. It didn’t take a genius to figure that out (unless said genius hadn’t spent enough time reading the manual to decipher the mess of wires and handles). You wrenched the brake into the off position with your heart hammering. Twisting back around toward the doors, you expected him to come sprinting in to start the process of leaving.
All you got for your efforts was another massive explosion that rocked the floor so hard you nearly shoved the emergency brake back on.
From the sound of things, the fight outside wasn’t going well. You were far enough away that you couldn’t hear the Doctor, but the metallic screech of what was after him sounded off every few seconds.
What if he didn’t come back?
Oh, the Doctor would come back. You didn’t have to fret over not having someone getting inside to get you off this planet and back to the relative safety of the void of time. But it might not be the Doctor that you were used to–the one that told you time and time again that his regenerations were like death.
“Sure, my memories will still be there,” he would say when the silences between you got too long, “but they’ll be inside some other man’s head.”
What if that other man didn’t want you coming along? Worse still, what if you didn’t get along with him? What if he stuck you back on Earth without so much as a goodbye?
Even as such frantic thoughts bounced around your head, you cast about the TARDIS’s interior for something you could use to help. You were just a run-of-the-mill human, nothing that could take on the gigantic Transformers-esque beasts outside!
Then you saw it: the damaging beam weapon you’d thrown together a few days ago from parts lying around the place.
“No,” the Doctor had said firmly, wrenching the enormous bazooka-like item from your grasp. When you tried to protest, he’d scowled. “Too much like a gun! I didn’t bring you along to weaponize my ship.”
But he hadn’t turned it into scrap yet, and, given how busy things had been since, probably hadn’t had time to disable it either. You grabbed the object without a second thought and burst out of the TARDIS while still struggling to heft your “gun” into place.
Outside, the noise was nearly deafening. The fight was closer now, too. You vaguely thought you remembered this whole thing beginning when the robot-alien-things (you had a mind for figures and parts, not names and species) decided the TARDIS probably had parts that could help the planet’s inhabitants along with their invasions, but you didn’t know for sure.
The large figure continued to stampede, shaking the ground tremendously; the Doctor darted about, stabbing the air with his screwdriver to no discernible affect. As you watched, the creature made a grab for the Doctor that had him stumbling backward. It was time for you to act or resign yourself to whatever regeneration came next.
You chose the former. Without even knowing if you were in a range close enough to do any damage, you yanked the trigger and kept running forward.
A massive white blast erupted from the other end. Did it do anything? You had no way of knowing. The kickback was much more than you expected; it sent you not only backwards, but up.
What went up, must therefore come back down. Your back collided against the planet’s rocky surface, knocking all the wind from your lungs. You lay there gasping for breath and staring up at the red sky, hoping that you’d managed to take the alien out and not your road trip buddy. The fact that you could no longer hear the grinding and explosions from before was somewhat heartening, but you could also just have lost your hearing in your fall.
Then the Doctor appeared right above you, frowning one of his angriest frowns. You’d seen it thrown at no small number of beings that got too big for their britches, but never at you.
You didn’t care. He was okay and himself, as far as you could tell.
Without waiting for you to speak, he grabbed your hand and yanked you to your feet. You lost no time in grabbing him in a hug and burying your face in his chest. He did not return the gesture, but also did not shove you away.
“I told you to go to the TARDIS,” he said.
“I did! And I ‘fixed’ things. But you didn't come back, and I was so worried!”
“I regenerate!” He pointed out waspishly. “You won’t!”
At last, he pushed you an arm’s length away. Still frowning, he looked you up and down. Your face stung from several small scrapes, and your back felt terribly bruised. You tried not to let that show, however; you would hate it if the Doctor decided to abandon you back on Earth because you were unfit for further adventures.
Unfortunately, whatever he saw there, he wasn’t pleased.
“[Name], I told you just this morning when you asked if we could come here that you had better do everything I say unless you wanted to go back home. You have directly disobeyed my orders and put both of us and the TARDIS in danger!”
He continued to go on, spouting off a list annoyances so fast that you could hardly understand them. You weren’t trying to anyway. Your relief was still too strong. The fact that it was still your familiar Doctor standing in front of you and reaming you out was worth every bit of his frustration–not to mention that you felt a certain amount of satisfaction over being the rescuer yourself for once. As the Doctor’s tirade went on, you stood on your tiptoes, pressed his cheeks between your palms, and brought his face down for a kiss, right on the lips.
When you pulled away, you were panting nearly as hard as you had been after being knocked to the ground. The Doctor looked no less out of breath, though he recovered much more quickly to give you a look of utmost incredulity.
“What are you doing?” he demanded. “You can’t kiss me while I’m lecturing you! You could have died, and–”
“And I didn’t!” you said all in a rush. Your elation was starting to break through your anxiety. You could almost have danced, you were so happy with the situation, the Doctor, and yourself.
After a moment of staring at you as though he couldn’t quite believe what he was seeing, the Doctor cracked a smile. More than that: A second later, he let out a whoop of laughter. “And you didn’t!” He grabbed both your hands and leaped once into the air. “We did it!”
“We did it!” you crowed. Both of you were still alive! The TARDIS was fine! The Doctor was the same one that you’d seen that morning over breakfast!
And he felt it too, even if he didn’t admit so with words. He kept his hand around one of your and led you back to the ship. You hummed as if to pretend that you weren’t there to interrupt the mood, but the Doctor refused to play along. He hummed, too, and every so often he would lean down and kiss the top of your head.

The Doctor should have had more worry over his own life in that moment. But, his whole thoughts, every feeling that flushed through his body was about her. He was consumed by fear and tormented by the images of what they may be doing to her. He could have no care for himself and his own life, when all he could think about was whether he could keep his promises.
They didn't do anything to him. Of course, he had demanded to know, repeatedly, but that just led to him being handcuffed to a pipe on one of the walls and left to be silent. A couple of hours must have passed before the spaceship control room doors clicked open once again. The Doctor straighten his back as two Pilot Fish walked back in. No words were exchanged. Just looks and then they were walking over to him.
Frantically, the man shook his head. "No! I can be useful to you!" He nagged as he was released from the handcuffs. Soon he was being dragged out of the room just as Y/n was. Maybe they were planning on killing him too. Which, led to the conclusion, that maybe she was dead already.
They walked through several corridors, getting stared at by every other creature that passed him. They turned right into another room of which he was shoved into, scurrying to the floor as he groaned. The doors shut abruptly and the Doctor wasn't sure he wanted to get back up to his feet; he wasn't sure if he wanted to know what he had yet to face.
He wished he had stayed on the floor.
Alas, the man stood to his feet and glanced around the room. Hooked up to many machines, on a cold, metallic table, like one found in a morgue, was Y/n. Her eyelids shut, but her chest still moving under her t-shirt. He faced his worse fear: his failure.
With his pupils glossing over, he sprinted to her side of the table, one hand brushed over the side of her face. He let out a shaking exhale before giving in. The tears slipped from his waterline and suddenly both hands were stroking the side of her face, begging ever so silently that she looked back at him, that she awoke from her unconscious state to tell him that everything would be okay, that she would be okay.
That never came. Instead, he was still alone.
His head snapped back over to the doors he had just been pushed through. He wandered back over, putting his grip against the handle as he shook them, trying to get them to budge. Only to find the door was certainly locked, refusing to open at his strength.
The Doctor tumbled back a little, letting his eyes scan the area. His gaze followed back to Y/n. A wave of guilt passed over him. Maybe he had just made empty promises, and now he was going to break them. He wasn't completely sure what they were planning to do with Y/n; all he knew was that they wanted that energy inside of her. A curiosity of which was pining his brain as he gazed at the iv they had stuck into her wrist. The tube dripped down from where she was left laying, swirling across the floor and under the locked door. Whatever she was hooked up to was behind there.
He was about to make his move to get the screwdriver. Instead, a rough rumble interjected across the whole ship. It made him halt as suddenly the floor beneath his feet began to shiver. Of course, the Doctor had thought to himself, they were moving. They had what they had come for, now was time to move on.
"No, no, no no." He had mumbled to himself as he felt the ship leave the ground it had once been planted against.
The repeated wording was loud enough that, from behind him, there came a quiet, yet powerful call, "Doctor?"
He spun instantly, turning to face the girl as her eyelids fluttered open. "Y/n," He replied as he rushed to her side, brushing his palm against her arms to soothe her back into the land of the living. "You alright? Do you feel okay?" His questions hit her like a crashing wave.
She pushed herself to sit up, making a jumble of her words as she answered, "Just a bit hazy, you know?"
Her handed lingered over the iv, stopping as the Doctor gripped her wrist before she was able to pull it from her skin. "Don't." He warned rather sternly. "I don't know what you're hooked up to yet." He gestured towards the tube which slithered along the floor and slipped under the door.
"We best find out then," She uttered before flinging her legs over the metal table and standing to her feet. Something of which was completed at the expense of a small tumble caught in the Doctor arms.
He looked down at her through pity in his pupils. "You sure you're alright to do this?" He questions her.
Huffing, the girl nodded, "Just keep that promise, aye?" She smiled and while the Doctor returned such, that wave of guilt returned.
He led the way back towards the door with her still hung onto his arm. From there, he retrieved his sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the door. Within a moment, it's open and the two can walk free. "You don't think we'll caught do you?" Y/n queried as her nerves returned.
The Doctor shrugged, looking left and right for any sign of the Pilot Fish, "Probably not."
He looked to the floor, scanning the tube once more and turning left, bringing Y/n with him. "You sound very sure of yourself." She commented as they continued down the hallway.
"Oh, well, you know me." He let out a small chuckle before glancing down at the girl, "All detailed planning." She smiled back; an empty smile.
He came to a stop when the tube did. His eyes snapped upward and he was met with another door. He tried the handle: locked. So he did as he had done before, using the screwdriver, and within a moment, the door swung open. "I think I should start purchasing some of this time lord technology of yours," Y/n said as they wandered into the room.
There was one thing in the room. A machine. It was glowing with the energy Y/n possessed, hoarding it in a box inches wide. It was hooked onto Y/n and was scooping all that energy out of her. But as the Doctor looked to the tube once more, shoving his glasses on and leaning down to inspect it, the cogs in his brain started moving once more. "No wonder you feel hazy." He said before glancing up to meet her gaze. "It's trying to take the energy, but it's taking blood at the same time."
The Doctor stood, walking around the box as he analysed the mechanics. "Does that mean I can take it out of me?" The girl questioned once again.
He tipped his head around the box, "Not yet." He answered her before returning to trying to figure out what he was dealing with.
"Doctor?" She called, met with a hum in reply which urged her query on. "The blood tests. What did they actually tell you?"
The man stopped at the question. At first, he was relieved that such a topic no longer was carried with fury and the sense of betrayal that once had it done. But then, he wasn't so sure he wanted to reply; there was a reason he had kept them blood tests from the girl. "The energy, it's slowly killing you that's correct, but it's also the thing which is keeping you alive. It needs something to host, right now it's a body, your body. It needs that functioning. In fact, it's counting on it."
He paused, beginning to regret that maybe he had already gone too far. "It's increasing the energy. As it turns out, it can reduplicate it because-" The Doctor didn't want to break it to her, not when she looked so doe-eyed and pretty. "Because certain chemicals in your brain are encouraging it. In particular, adrenaline. I've been trying to save you by going from planet to planet, time to time, but that's made you excited and scared and fearful and-"
She cut in, finishing his words, "And increasing my adrenaline." A realisation of which was far too late now.
"It's why your systems suddenly started to increase, right after Bane World actually. There was a surge in adrenaline." He informed.
A silence followed. They'd been running and running, but that had only been making things worse. Y/n glanced back over at the Doctor curiously, him still seeming captivated by his own troubling thoughts. "Why me, Doctor?"
The words cut through the room. They weren't glum in any way, they were confused and wondering as to what it was that had led the girl right up to this moment. And truly, the Doctor didn't know. "It could have been anything. Touched something you shouldn't have, wrong place, wrong time, something like that." He answered. "If you'd like, I could maybe see if I can find out."
Her brows raised, "How would you be able to find out?"
"Well, I'd have to, sort of, go into your mind."
She laughed to herself, how could she forget? Time Lord. "Oh right, of course, how did I not think about that."
The Doctor forced a smile before coming around from the box and back to her. They hadn't been this close for awhile without arguing. Things had been simpler, he wasn't caught in desperate lies, and she wasn't dying. "I can weave through memories, see what might have caused the energy. There's just one thing."
"What?"
"You have to trust me."
Y/n swallowed the lump which had grown in her throat. But still, she nodded lightly and reached for his hands, placing them at the sides of her face. "I trust you, Doctor." She said in utter confidence as if she'd never been so sure of anything else in her life before.
He smiled to her and he instructed her next moves, "Shut your eyes." She did so, and before she knew it, she was following her memories through the guide of the Doctor.
Some of childhood which he passed by, someone from when she was a teenager, getting her first job. All the usual milestones one is expected to reach. And, suddenly, it was Christmas and Y/n was standing in the hospital, receiving the news of her parents death. "I'm sorry." Uttered the Doctor.
"It's okay." She reassured as they continued through the memories.
It wasn't long until they stopped for a moment, the Doctor lingering on a certain memory. One of which Y/n believed lacked emotion, or significance, it was just something like admin. "Is this-?"
"Torchwood." She informed as they watched a slightly younger Y/n walk through the workplace behind a rather snooty business woman. "This is what I told you about. When they showed me the files after my parents passed."
The Doctor hummed, paying close attention to the memory. In this building, in the room she was walking through, there were many machines and such left laying around. And there was no one like the Doctor at Torchwood at this point. There was no one to tell them that they shouldn't have possible alien tech just out in the open. And of course, while it hadn't stuck with her, Y/n had accidently passed one of these machines, causing an electric shock.
"Ah! There!" The Doctor practically leapt away, pulling them both back to their reality. "That! That thing! Oh god, was it Arcadian? No! Could be Vulcan." He was speaking to himself, beginning a ramble which frankly they didn't have time for.
In fact, in such time that the Doctor had been rambling, Y/n had taken note of the planet which was soon coming into sight. "Doctor," She called. He ignored her, too busy mixed within his own rushing thoughts. "Doctor!"
He snapped to her and then the worrisome gaze written in her eyes. She gestured to the window which was situated at the end of the room, where a planet was coming into sight. He wandered towards it and Y/n followed carefully. "Oh, no." He sighed to himself. "I was right. It was Vulcan." He looked to the girl. "They're planning an attack. And you're their weapon."
Y/n didn't want to believe it. She lived in London (Earth), worked a mundane job and got by. She wasn't a girl who stood in spaceships and was a weapon to be used as an advantage. "How do we-" She couldn't get her words out fully at that point. "I can't- What do we do Doctor?"
He glanced between the window and the planet which awaited them below and then the girl who he'd grown to love dearly. "We get you as far from here as possible."
She simply raised her arm and showcased the tube that she was still attached to, "Start with this, yeah?" She suggested.
He nodded and went back to inspecting the box. This time, Y/n followed him. She probably wouldn't be able to help much, being human and all. But she liked to make herself feel somewhat important. "The nihonium metal is protecting the energy. It's making sure it doesn't explode. But then the wires are all crossed. That shouldn't be happening. Which means it's intentional, which means-" He stopped. He had figured it out. "This is their plan."
Y/n was lost. She usually was when the Doctor found himself a midst a ramble like such. "What is their plan?" She finally asked.
"You!" He looked back at the planet they were approaching. "If you take that tube out, stop transmitting the energy to the box, than it'll reflect to the planet and the planet- the planet will explode. That's their plan." He explained.
"Okay, so what other options do we have? I can't exactly walk around attached to a box that could explode any minute for the rest of my life."
Her words led to a realisation. A realisation that the Doctor wished he had never come to. "You have to let it run it's course."
Y/n hadn't caught on. "Okay, how long would that take?"
He took a cautious step forward, "Y/n, You don't understand, letting it run it's course would mean taking all the energy out of you. We'd let it take out the only thing which is keeping you alive."
They had no options.
Well they had one option. An impossible, completely inhumane option.
"So either a whole planet and it's species die, or I do?"
The Doctor confirmed such, "I'm afraid there's no way to improvise out of this one." He shook his head to himself. "It's why they brought me in here. They knew that I would- They knew I would try and get you out of here, they knew I would take the tube out, or try to." He paused. "I can't let you die, Y/n."
Y/n forced a smile to form at her lips, hiding the gloss which plastered her eyes. "And I can't let you kill a whole species."
"What do you care about aliens? I thought they all just attacked the Earth, and took innocent people with them." He reiterated her words back to her.
"I'm not worth a whole planet, Doctor."
"No, your not. You're worth all of them."
Silence followed. Y/n looked over at the box which was slowly filling, slowly pulling the life out of her. "Can we sit?" She asked.
He nodded and the girl reached out, taking his hand as she led him towards the window. They took their seats on the floor next to one another. A planet, a beautiful, thriving, planet stared back at them. "I'm sorry." He whispered through what may have been mistaken for a tranquil moment.
"No," Y/n said. "Don't say that. Say something else."
Y/n looked back to the planet. The Doctor stared at her. "Thank you, for everything, Y/n Y/l/n." She didn't look away from the glass. Instead, she let her head drop to his shoulder and a sigh fell from her lips.
This wasn't like before. This wasn't like looking out into the sea during the 70s, or scanning the Bane World. They were starring at the oblivion which was known as space. And it starred back at them. To the Doctor, oblivion was taunting him, laughing at him as if it had known all along he was going to fail. While, for Y/n, she found oblivion was welcoming her. It was urging her to fall deeper and deeper into that place of the unknown. And, at some point, she fell.

Hi hi!! I love your writing so much!! I saw you had a prompt list and was wondering if you could do number 11 with the Tenth Doctor 👉👈 I feel like that’s something he would say. Thanks I’m advance! 🫶
Guys I am indeed actually alive, it's just been a hot minute since I've felt any motivation to really come back and write things. But I am back, and I have no idea if I'll be consistent with this or not, it just sparked my interest again. I really appreciate all the consistent support from you guys!! <3333
Tenth Doctor x FemReader
"Yes I have feelings for you, moving on."
Tumblr media
"Y/N?! Can I come in???"
You heard a flurry of knocks at your bedroom door as an excited Doctor rushed in before waiting for an answer.
"Why yes Doctor you may enter my room," you laughed. "What if I was changing or something in here?"
"Well I uh.. It hasn't happened yet!" he fought back.
You giggled and rolled your eyes at how flustered he got, something that you noticed happening often. Although you just chalked it up to that being a part of his personality, especially when he has so many lovely women flirting with him on your trips together.
He flopped onto your bed and stared at you.
"So! What are we doing today hm? Go see the stars of Ntiri, or perhaps an alien market, or we could go back to the time of the Renaissance!" he ended with a flair.
"A ball sounds nice, like in France. Marie Antoinette times! But preferably without the Reign of Terror, running isn't exactly on my wishlist for things today," you pondered aloud.
He jumped up and twirled you around, making you go all the way up on your tippy toes.
"Well alrighty then Ms. Y/N! The Yew Ball awaits!"
You rush out to see him start slamming levers and pulling bits and bobs as your center of balance is thrown away like it wasn't even there in the first place. It always amazed you how the Doctor managed to stay up the way he did. He was by no means the most graceful man you had ever met, but the TARDIS didn't seem to throw him around the same way it did you.
As he pulled you up and brushed some stray hairs out of your eyes, a thought hit you.
"Doctor?"
"Yes love?" he replied.
"Where are we supposed to get the right attire for this? My blouse and blue jeans won't exactly fit in a 16th century setting."
"Ah, don't worry about that, I'll get it all sorted out for us," he grinned.
The two of you walked out of the TARDIS, finding yourselves in a storage closet of sorts. You walked out and around the corner, up so many stairs you thought you might pass out, and then finally a couple more turns before stopping at a large white door with gold details.
The Doctor rapped on the door gently before a small brown haired woman appeared in a plain corset and dress.
He whipped out his psychic paper and the woman's face lit up.
"Oh! Madame you must hurry the ball starts soon!!!" she chimed.
She yanked you into the room as you gave the Doctor a very confused look while he just simply grinned back at you.
You then spent the next few hours getting your makeup done and having a multitude of dresses shown for you to choose from. It took at least one of those hours to convince the women helping you to not make you wear a wig, even if it is a sign of wealth, you just can't stand the itchiness.
Eventually, you made your way to the main ball room, stopping at the top of the stairs. The Doctor stood with his hands in his pockets admiring the view around him opposite you.
As his gaze met yours his eyes lit up and a wide smile crossed his face. He was in a royal, no, TARDIS blue coat and pants, with a golden waistcoat, and creme colored tights that he looked very upset to be wearing.
The two of you met at the top of the largest staircase, where the other two converged.
"You look absolutely stunning Y/N," he whispered.
You were given a ball gown in the exact same shade of gold as the Doctor's waistcoat, with your corset and center piece of material a light shade of cornflower blue, complementing your complexion perfectly.
"You look rather dashing yourself Doctor," you cooed.
He bowed to you deeply, arose, then held out a delicate hand to lead you down the stairs.
You proceeded to wander around the room, talking to many couples, eventually getting to meet Marie Antoinette herself. She found you most exciting, and thought you were the most intelligent person in the room.
The night began to slow, and the Doctor was leading you in your final waltz for the night.
"Doctor, I wouldn't have traded this night for anything," you said softly. "Although we must go into the past more often, we don't go nearly enough."
"I agree, the nights are always wonderful with the one you love most..." he stated holding onto your hand even tighter.
"Wait.. Doctor say that again?"
You couldn't believe what he had just said, did he really just say that he loved you the most??
"Yes, I have feelings for you, moving on," he brushed off.
"Wait a minute you can't just move on from this Doctor! You really love me?"
"My dear Y/N, why in the multitude of universes, wouldn't I love you? You are the sweetest person I've ever met, you're strong, capable, and gorgeous to the moons and back."
You blushed and smiled fondly.
"Which moons Doctor?"
"Any of them love, as long as you come with me," he whispered, tipping your chin up and kissing you gently.
You felt a swirl of emotions that you never knew you could feel before, and even more as he swung you off your feet, and placing you down gently.
"Uh, Doctor.. I think we're being stared at," you pointed out.
The entire room turned to look at you both, A truly handsome couple, the queen thought.
He placed a hand around your waist and began leading you back to the TARDIS.
"Well then, they'll definitely be staring after they see us walking into broom closet together," he snickered.
Your mouth dropped but returned to a content smile, not believing the wonderful night that just occurred.

Hi! Could I have 10,11 and 12’s reaction to alien reader? Perhaps realising their supposedly’human’ companion is very obviously in a human form. And that they aren’t themself, human?
I’m thinking maybe they convince reader to show their alien form more, or etc in general!
Maybe have readers alien form have yk, multiple arms? Or multiple eyes!
Sorry if this is to specific!
I absolutely love this idea! I sort of made into head canon form, I hope you don’t mind<3
Also, thank you for being my first request!
Enjoy <3
(also I think I may have only done what you actually asked for 12… oops)
Doctor Who Masterlist
10th Doctor
Tumblr media
You’ve been traveling with the Doctor for a while, and you feel like he’s opened up to about some pretty serious stuff.
You’re happy that he’s come around to trusting you, but you can’t help but feel terribly guilty for hiding your true identity.
You were a Stask. A shape-changing lifeform that allowed you to pass as human for many years.
Your true form, however, was a grey-skinned, six-eyed, humanoid, with long white hair.
The longer you traveled with him, the more it ate away at you. Until one day, you couldn’t hide it any longer.
You left your room on the TARDIS and went to find the Doctor. He was easy enough to find, he was almost always in the console room. And if he wasn’t he was usually in the library.
“Um, Doctor?” You spoke up, calling his attention to you. You were nervous. What if he hated you for this? No, you mustn’t dwell on such things.
“Y/n!” He replied enthusiastically. He took a few steps towards you, but stopped in his tracks when he saw your face and your stature. “Y/n? What’s wrong?”
“I… I have something to tell you,” you expressed, as you fidgeted with the hem of your shirt.
“What is it? What happened?” He pressed, growing more concerned.
No matter how many times you stammered, and started over. You just couldn’t seem to get the words out.
He stared at you, his face full of worry. He could tell something wasn’t right, but he wasn’t sure why. And didn’t like not knowing.
You took a deep breath and did the only other thing you could think to do. You changed back to your true form, right in front of his eyes.
Your hair went white, and your skin back to its dull grey that you never liked. It was one of the reasons you never stayed in your true form.
His eyes went wide for a moment before his face scrunched up in total confusion. “What?!”(WOT!?) He exclaimed.
“Please don’t be mad!” You winced at his reaction, holding your hands out in front of you.
“You’re a Stask,” he pointed out the obvious, clearly dumbfounded by it all.
“Yes…”
“But-but-but what!?” He said again.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner,” you began dejectedly. “I understand if you want me to go.”
“Go? Go where?” The Doctor asked. Seriously, after one big shock, it takes a minute for his brain to reboot.
You just shrugged.
He shook his head, sympathetically. “No, I don’t want you to go.”
“Really!?” You felt your heart swell at that. He didn’t want you to leave, he was just a bit surprised.
11th Doctor
Tumblr media
You’d been traveling with the Doctor for over 2 years now. Ever since he saved your life when you were trapped on that 54th century space shuttle.
The crew was human, so you’d disguised yourself as a human to avoid awkward stares. As your true form had deep violet skin, 5 inky black eyes, and pointed ears.
Your species was called Anziks. Of the many shape changer races in the universe you were not one of them, however, your people had the most advanced Shimmer technology in 3,000 neighboring galaxies. It was almost undetectable and much more comfortable than most others.
Of course, you had been wearing one when the Doctor found you. And you had been wearing it since, only taking it off when you were alone in your room on the TARDIS.
Often on your adventures you’d make passing remarks or jokes about how “humans are silly” and remembering things from your home planet. The Doctor never seemed to notice, at least he didn’t let on that he did.
Even with Anziks’s advanced Shimmer technology, it still got stuffy and little difficult to breathe after wearing it for a long period of time.
Today it was particularly bad.
The Doctor was rambling on about something, you really couldn’t say what. You had dismissed yourself quickly, heading straight to your room.
Immediately when you entered your room, you dropped the shimmer, and your deep indigo skin faded back to view, along with your ears and eyes.
You could’ve sworn you shut the door, but the next thing you knew you turned around after taking a breath, only to freeze completely, like a deer in headlights.
The Doctor stood there, a strange metal box he was holding, clattered to the floor.
“Doctor!” You practically screamed, as you quickly put the Shimmer back on, hoping somehow he’d forget.
But it was no use, he’d seen it. You’d been caught.
“Y/n?” He sputtered out, pointing at you. “No! No, no, no, no!”
“I can explain!” You blurted. “I swear I can explain! P-please don’t be angry!”
The Doctor opened his mouth to speak several times, each time with a new hand gesture, but he wasn’t really making any progress on saying anything.
You sighed, still feeling a little like you were choking in your Shimmer. And so you dropped it again, allowing the Doctor to see you how you truly looked.
His mouth snapped shut as he gaped at you.
“I don’t know why I hid it,” you admitted. “I’m sorry.”
“S-so y-you’re a-a-a—“ he stammered.
“An Anziks,” you finished for him. “I’ve been wearing a Shimmer. At first it was just for the job, to keep people from staring at me.”
“Then… we got stranded, and hunted by those Kruuls…” You explained. “and then you came and rescued me and I… there just wasn’t a good time.”
“I see,” he said, his face still slightly pale from the unexpected news.
“Are you angry with me?” You asked, hopeful he would say no.
And to your delight, he shook his head, and relief washed over you like a warm blanket of water.
He smiled and said, “It’s just nice to finally see you.”
12th Doctor
Tumblr media
You’d only been traveling with the Doctor for a couple of months.
He was strange, and wonderful and kind, but still you were nervous to tell him your secret.
Today, you decided to confess to him, before the lie went on for too long.
You walked into the TARDIS console room, where he was reading a book on the second level. He noticed you come in but he didn’t look up.
“Doctor,” you said, taking a few more steps toward him. “I have something to tell you.”
He still didn’t look up. He licked his finger, and turned the page of his book. “Okay,” he said.
You let out a sort of shaky sigh at his aloof attitude. “Doctor, I think you should put the book down for a moment. It’s a bit… serious.”
He looked looked up at you, realizing how serious you were being, and decided to close the book as set it on the table next to him. He waited for you to continue.
You took a deep breath, before looking back at him. “I am… not human.”
He stared at you blankly, and you cringed at what that could mean.
“That’s it?” The Doctor asked, taking you completely off guard.
“W-what?”
“I mean, no offense, Y/n,” he continued. “But you’re not exactly good at hiding it.”
Now it was your turn to stare blankly at him. He’d known? How long had he known?
“So tell me,” the Doctor smiled at you. “Where are you from?”
“I…” you started, wanting to question him, but instead answered his question. “Scravikos 5.”
“Ah, Scravikos 5,” he repeated warmly. “So, you must be hiding that lovely second set of arms then?”
“Um… yes,” you said, still completely dumbfounded that he knew all along. “H-how long have you known?”
“Oh, I knew right away,” he scoffed. “It was very obvious.”
“But… you never said?”
“Why would I?” The Doctor questioned.
You shook your head, and shrugged. “Because I lied to you, I suppose?”
“Oh really it was nothing,” he waved off your reasoning. “How long have you had your arms tucked away?”
“About 8 months,” you responded. You had crashed landed on Earth a few months before you met the doctor, and you’d hidden the only thing that was your dead giveaway that you weren’t human.
Well, that must be terribly uncomfortable,” he sympathized. It was a little, and you silently tilted your head in agreement. “Well, you don’t need to hide them here,” he said, urging you to be comfortable in your own skin again.
“Oh, you mean…” you started, eyes wide in surprise at his acceptance, although truly you weren’t sure why you were surprised. He just nodded.
At that you allowed your second set of arms to sprout out of your back. With them out again, it felt instantly easier to breathe.
The Doctor smiled, and you smiled.
And you never hid them again, save for a few choice time period adventures.

𝐂𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞
↳ warnings: none. reader kept gn as always
↳ song: this is the day—the the
masterlist!
• He might not look it, but the space man is very keen on cuddling
• Initiating it is a nightmare for the both of you—think awkward conversations and over exaggerated hand movements—but once he gets your permission to proceed, he's as happy as can be
• The Doctor has spent centuries watching people come and go from his life. Lacking true connection and hating to watch it all end. So to be able to participate in such a domestic thing, even if it's just the simple act of holding each other, makes both his hearts swell
• He will be the big spoon the most of the time. The Doctor feels the urge to wrap himself around you like a protective barrier, momentarily shielding you away from all the troubles of the outside world. It's just in his nature to protect—especially if it's you that's being protected
• He does occasionally enjoy being the little spoon, however. It's always nice to know someone else you trust has your back. And he might crave touch just a little bit more than he's willing to admit
• Won't ever say it to your face, but he thinks you're ethereal when sleeping. Appreciates how the TARDIS stays just bright enough to where he can admire you while you doze off; hair matted and lips parted slightly without a care in the world
• Gallifreyans don't need to sleep as often as humans do. You know this. The Doctor knows this. But nonetheless it's become a routine for the both of you to head to a bed after a particular hard adventure and fall into each other wordlessly. Sometimes you'll talk to each other about things that are bothering you. Run ins with Daleks, lost lovers, the enslavement of the Ood, etc. And other times you'll just sit in silence, heads buried in each other's necks protectively
• More than once you've woken up to an empty bed. The Doctor, as you discovered, is still working out how to deal with his feelings after so many tragic endings. Which you respect, allowing him to take as long as he needs. But occasionally, if you're lucky, you'll wake up to find your legs intertwined with his and an arm thrown over your side haphazardly
• He starts keeping a little go bag of your pajamas in a corner of the TARDIS. It's easier than landing inside your apartment each night to grab something. Plus, he likes the way your face lights up at the thoughtful action
• If you're having a particularly hard time falling asleep one night, The Doctor will take to opening up about some of his past. He'll tell you tales of the brilliant orange sky on his home planet and the way it sparkled with the morning light until you're asleep in his side, a distant smile etched on your face

Tenth Doctor NSFW Alphabet
Tumblr media
Tenth Doctor x GN!Reader 18+ ONLY / requests are open
DW: @nyxiethesimp @quickslvxrr @midnight--raine @blueberry-sunshines @stevekempscocktails @go-bonkers-go-foolish @peytonpenguin37 @yeethaw13 (send an ask to be added to a tag list!)
TENTH DOCTOR NSFW ALPHABET
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
Ten is the cuddliest being in the entire universe after sex. Cuddles, kisses, snuggles. He’s basically a barnacle. He adores giving you cuddles just as much as he receives them. I also feel like he’d absolutely adore nuzzling his nose against your jaw and/or neck.
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
His favourite body part of his own are his teeth/hands.
His favourite body part of his partner is their eyes. One of the most important things for him in a partner is their eyes. Being able to see compassion, kindness- love in someone’s eyes. There’s nothing that makes him fall in love faster.
C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)
Ten can cum a lot. Something to do with Time Lord genetics. When they mate, they mate to conceive (biologically speaking) so whenever Ten ejaculates, there can be a lot if he’s not had any for a while or if he’s been edging.
D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
A dirty secret of Ten’s is how much he fantasises and thinks about rubbing his cock against your clit/dick. It’s one of his favourite things, and he thinks about it way more than he should. He has- on more than one occasion, rubbed his thumb over his sonic screwdriver and thought about putting it inside you too.
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
Ten is experienced. He’s lived for 900-odd years. He hasn’t had a plethora of partners, but he’s had enough (both longer-term and one-night) but he’s experienced enough to know what he’s doing and how to get his partner exactly where he wants them.
F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)
Missionary. He’s not fancy about it, but he adores being able to look into your eyes as he brings you pleasure.
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)
It depends on the circumstance. Generally speaking, he’s more romantic than goofy, but he also believes that if you can’t laugh with your partner during sex- they’re not the one for you.
H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
He’s not shaved, but he’s not unruly either. He’s neat. Trimmed.
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)
Ten’s all about the intimacy. He’s all about soft loving looks, hand-holding, and adoring caresses. He’s so romantic (most of the time) that it’s almost sickening. Even when he’s rough, he’s still romantic. Check-ins, kisses, reassuring touches and smooches.
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
Ten tries not to jack off too much since he has you, but he’s not opposed to jacking off in the shower if you’re not in the mood. He also has a bit of a thing for you watching him jack off. There’s just something about it that gets him hot and bothered.
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)
Hair-pulling. The man is OBSESSED with having his hair pulled. He’s pretty sure he could cum untouched from that.
L = Location (favorite places to do the do)
TARDIS console room or his bedroom are his two favourite places to do it, but he’s not picky.
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
Teasing touches and sultry looks will get Ten going faster than anything. A brush over his shoulders, a light pat on his bum. If he’s feeling dominant, teasing him will definitely get him going. Behaving bratty and ignorant of how your words, looks and touches impact him will definitely have him all over you as soon as possible.
N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
Knife or gun-play. It’s not for him.
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
He prefers to give, but he enjoys receiving, too. Mostly when he’s feeling submissive.
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)
Again, depends on the circumstances. If he’s feeling submissive and is receiving, he wants it loving but fast. He wants toys or cocks jackhammering into his ass. If he’s feeling dominant, he likes to make it slower and more sensual in order to tease you.
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
Ten isn’t huge on quickies. He enjoys them, but he’d much rather be able to take his time and really enjoy the moment with you.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)
Ten is open to experimentation, but at 900 years old, there’s not much he hasn’t done that isn’t a huge no-no for him.
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)
Ten can last about five to seven rounds before he starts to tire. That Time Lord biology does not quit.
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
Ten likes toys. He likes to use them on his partners more than receive, but having you fuck his cock with a fleshlight? Well, lets say that did something to him that he was not expecting.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
When he’s dominant, he’s very unfair. Or he can be. It depends on how naughty you’ve been. When he’s submissive, he’s only teasing when he wants to be punished.
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
Ten isn’t super loud, but he’s not opposed to making some noise, either. He’s louder when he’s being edged, for sure.
W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)
Ten loves to have you ride him. He adores watching you on top of him and taking charge.
X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
He’s not super thick, but he is quite a bit longer than the average human.
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)
Ten’s sex drive is moderate. He’s not jonesing for it all the time, but he likes a good fuck at least two or three times a week. More if he’s really in the mood.
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
Ten doesn’t really fall asleep very quickly after sex unless he’s gone about eight rounds. That will tire him out like nothing else. Because he doesn’t fall asleep quickly, he likes to brush your hair and lull you to sleep on his chest for a while.

I don’t know if you’re still taking requests, but if you are: Maybe where the 10th doctor is in love with y/n but doesn’t realize it like the schtupid lil nerd he is, and Donna has to break it to him. With this new realization, his brain short-circuits and he has no idea how to act or what to say. Donna is his wingman and it’s just fluff all around. :D
I just wanted to
tenth doctor x fem!reader
summary: The Doctor is oblivious. Donna is not. Basically what the request said. Gosh, I love this request!!
Tumblr media
"Bye, Doc" Y/n says softly, giving his arm a soft squeeze as he turns his head to look at her with a fond smile.
"See you soon, Angel."
Y/n giggles and skips out to the door, waving goodbye to Donna, her eyes looking back to the timelord one last time before leaving.
As soon as the tardis door closes, Donna snorts and turns to face the Doctor with a teasing grin. "Bye, Doc, see you soon, angel" She mimics in an overly-sweet voice before pretending to gag. "Ugh, God -- and that arm squeeze! Honestly, it's like I'm in the middle of a bad romance book. An overwhelmingly long slowburn." She mumbles in distress.
The Doctor looks at her, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "What are you rambling on about now?" He quizzes, seemingly genuinely unaware of the tension between himself and Y/n.
"Oh, give me a break, Spaceman." Donna groans under her breath, dragging her hands down her face in anguish. "You're like a trillion years old; there's no way you can be that dense."
"Dense - what - oi, I'm not dense!" He protests quickly, a little pout on his lips as he crosses his arms over his chest in offense.
With a roll of her eyes, Donna stalks around the console, randomly pressing buttons while the Doctor smacks her hands away before she can actually do something like blow up the tardis. "Had the birds and the bees talk, Doctor?" She asks playfully, the Doctor's cheeks flushing a light pink as he splutters.
"What? Donna, you're - stop messing with the console!" He screeches as she flickers some switches on and off. The redhead huffs and backs away, putting her hands in the air.
"All of this built up tension, Doctor. It's making you unbearably tense."
His honeyed eyes roll to the back of his head as he retorts. "Well, I just spent the day trapped on a train with some invisible evil entity, I think I have the right to be a little tense."
"No, no, no." His companion quickly shakes her head, tapping her painted nails on her arm, frustrated that she has to spell everything out for him. "Not that kind of tension. I'm talking about sexual tension. Desire."
The Doctor's face turns pale, his red lips frowning in disgust. "Donna, I think you're great, but-"
Quickly realising the misunderstanding, she cuts him off. "Not with me, you dumbo!" She spits, her face contorted in her own revulsion. "With Y/n!"
A sigh of relief leaves his mouth before he can stop it, but the relief doesn't last long before it's replaced with scepticism. "With Y/n?" He repeats curiously, almost allowing a little bit of hope to flow out alongside his words. "Nah, we're just friends." A dismissive wave of his hand attempts to deny the accusation, but his eyes darting anywhere but Donna just proves her point more.
"Well, she definitely doesn't want to be just friends." She speaks, her lips curled into a knowing smirk.
Despite himself, his head snaps up to look at her, cheeks darkening once again. "She doesn't? Why? Did she say something?" His asks are quick and eager, only making Donna chuckle.
"Maybe, maybe not."
"Donna, this isn't-" Before he can finish, the tarids doors open once more. Y/n walks in, snow in her gorgeous hair as she shivers from the cold.
"Sorry, I forgot my hat." She explains sweetly.
The Doctor rubs a hand on the back of his neck, repeatedly opening and closing his mouth in an attempt to respond, but no sound actually manages to leave. Donna sighs from behind him.
Picking up on the awkward atmosphere, Y/n stops to look at them both, squinting her eyes as she observes the Doctor, his freckled face flushed with his eyes darting around. Her gaze moves on and she looks at Donna, who looks a mixture of amused and impatient. "Did I interrupted something?" She asks quietly.
"No!" The Doctor answers a little too quickly. Donna nudges him and and whispers encouragement in his ear as he tries to brush her off. "No, you're not interuppting anything."
Y/n nods, not convinced in the slightest, and actually a little hurt that the two seem to be keeping secrets from her. Still, she understands that she shouldn't prod when he clearly isn't comfortable. "Okay, well, I've got my hat." As if to prove her the fact, she twirls the hat in her hand. "I'll be going."
"Oh, you idiot!" Donna groans in his ear as Y/n walks to the door. The Doctor grumbles and bites his lip, his mind practically fighting between what he wants to do and what he should do.
"Actually, Y/n," He calls, and she stops just before the door. She turns around, looking lovingly at the Doctor as he makes his way towards her. He stands tall in front of her, gazing down with a nervous cloud in his eyes. "I just wanted to.. " He shifts on his feet for a moment. "I just wanted to..." He repeats in a whisper, sounding hypnotised as he stares at her lips.
He gulps then shakes his head. "Doesn't matter," his body turns and he curses to himself. He had fought Gods and demons, but trying to confess something like this was the most difficult thing he had encountered. "Have a good day at home, angel."
Instead of making a quick getaway, his wrist is suddenly captured. He's spun around, but before he can process anything, Y/n's lips are on his.
It's soft and loving. It captures the years of longing, of need and desire the two had bottled up inside themselves. Her hands run through his hair, and after his brain rebooted, he places his hands on her waist, pulling her into him.
They pull away, a little short of breath as their foreheads sit together. The Doctor makes no effort to remove his grip from her waist, and Y/n now rubs the back of his neck in soothing motions. "I hope that was okay," She whispered a little shyly. "I just wanted to kiss you."
The Doctor bobs his head up and down eagerly. "God, yes, that's okay."
"Finally!' Donna cheers.
omg first time writing in forever. uhhh it isn't proofread sorry lolol. hope you enjoyed!! :) <3

Hear My Words
Doctor Who : Fic
Tenth Doctor x Reader
Word Count: 2352
Warnings: I’ve had to rewatch Doctor Who to get back into writing for the characters and... of course I’m swooning left and right. I need to watch everything David Tennant now 🤦‍♀️
Request: “Hi! I wanted to request a fluff hurt/comfort John smith/10th doctor? Like the reader has a crush on the doctor, and during the events of Human Nature, they get really sad seeing John fall in love with Joan, but when he’s the doctor again, he tells the reader it’s always been them? Thank you and hope you’re doing good!” Anon
A/N: Using the chameleon arch meant putting you in charge of John Smith, but it also meant the Doctor was free to fall in love much to your dismay
Tumblr media
The tardis was quaking beneath their feet, parts exploding in showers of sparks. Fireworks of brilliant gold and fiery orange cascading until burning out against the grated floor. The erratic flying sent the Doctor and (Y/N) tumbling against the railing.
“Did they see your face?” the Doctor yelled over the steaming console.
“No, I don’t think so,” (Y/N) said frantically, “Doctor, what are we going to do?”
He paused his searching to look at her. Between the smoke and the sparks, she looked frightened – really properly scared. And it broke his hearts. He wanted to take her by the hand and whisper sweet words of endearment and comfort. He wanted to let her know that he wouldn’t let anything happen to her.
His fingers itched to reach for her. His legs begged to run for her. His hearts pleaded to embrace her.
But he couldn’t. Not when he’d played the façade so well.
She had no idea that he was completely smitten by her.
“We’re going to have to disappear,” he finally breathed. Yes – disappear. If he could conceal them from the hunting party then no harm would befall her.
“Alright,” she said shakily, though relief painted her tone. There was always relief when the Doctor had a plan. “How are we going to do that?”
His hands clenched, “I’ve got to stop being a Time Lord.” His eyes flickered up and down her frame before pouncing to the console. He frantically continued his search for an object.
“I’m sorry, what?” (Y/N) cried, “How is that possible?” Her heart was in her throat, “Doctor, you’re frightening me.”
He clutched at a silver fob watch, running for her. “I’m going to rewrite my biology. Can’t do the same to you, I’m afraid. You’ll have to improvise.” He tossed the watch into the air, catching it to gain her attention. “Rewriting means my memories too. You’ll have to be in charge.”
“I don’t understand.”
He cursed himself – urged himself to speak slower. “I have to completely conceal myself. To do that I’ll have to become something else. I’ll have to become human. And I’ll need you to look after me.”
His arms felt warm and heavy as he kept them from holding her. In times of panic, when the adrenaline was high, it was always harder to keep his wants under control.
“I don’t…”
“I need you to take care, (Y/N). Can you ensure that I don’t open this watch until the most dire of circumstances? Can you make sure that I believe myself human until we can escape?”
Her eyes were beginning to water at the sight of his begging.
“Doctor…” she breathed, “I…”
~~~
John shot up in bed, gripping his blankets and chasing the last images of the dream. Of the angelic look on the girl’s face.
He rubbed at his eyes, “Gracious…” he sighed. “I’m getting that one more often than I like.” Of the catalogue of dreams that plagued him at night, the one about the kitchen maid became more and more frequent.
And it always left him with a race in his chest.
He would spend the morning teaching his classes and reading his books and seeking a glance of Nurse Redfern. But by the end of the day he sought a glimpse of the kitchen maid, (Y/N). He yearned for a bit of conversation with her – a much needed reprieve on his ever consumed mind.
His head always felt stuffed, as if a dense volume of water filled his cranium to the brim until the pressure was too much. It somehow felt lighter after an evening with Miss. (Y/N).
He found his wandering footsteps descending the stairs to the kitchens, running into a few flustered maids.
“Sorry, sir.”
“Pardon me, sir – are you lost?”
He’d wave them off, “No, I assure you I know where I’m going. Good evening.” The stone corridors became second nature as he found the staff room beside the bustling kitchen preparing dinner.
“Ah, excuse me,” he’d gesture to a lady’s maid, “Where might I find… oh, there she is, never mind.” And the sight of (Y/N) made his heart tug in a way that felt overwhelming, as if it tried to consume his entire chest.
“Sir,” she muttered, sounding surprised even if her eyes spoke otherwise. John always found his way downstairs at the end of the day, “Do you wish to have your dinner in your quarters? I could bring it up personally.”
“Lovely idea,” he said, “But I would rather enjoy a meal here with you, if you were agreeable.”
She urged the warmth from her cheeks, “That’s rather improper, sir.”
He shrugged, “I’ve found my quarters rather suffocating as of late.”
“Very well, sir,” she curtseyed, “You can find yourself comfortable in the staffing quarters and I’ll be there momentarily with supper.”
(Y/N) scurried to the kitchens with a squirming stomach, always worried that the reason John sought her out was because he finally remembered who he was – that he was becoming himself again. But as always he just took comfort in her familiarity.
There was something about her, he would say, that would put him at ease. As if they were companions in another life.
But she knew their coming conversation would be of dreams and fantastical stories and the possible future with other staff members. Inevitably they would dwell on the topic of Nurse Redfern.
And it would hurt her to encourage him to speak with the nurse, to befriend her and see what would grow.
“Here you are, sir,” she said, placing a delectable dish in front of him. She personally chose his favorites from the serving platters about to be sent up. “Will there be anything else?”
He snapped his head towards her, “Surely you’ll stay. Please, sit beside me.”
She held back a retort, already hearing the gossip jumping between her coworkers. “If it please you, sir.”
“It always has, (Y/N). I want to speak with you about an interesting dream I had last night.”
She nodded, retrieving her meager servants stew and sitting beside him. “I figured as much.”
“What do you mean?” He was amused.
“Just that you normally come knocking when you’ve had a funny dream or some peculiar thought.”
“Well, you’re right.” He forked around his supper, “I dreamt that we were on another one of those adventures.”
(Y/N) kept her eyes down, pondering her stew. She wondered what memory was forcing its way to the surface of his mind.
“You were so terribly frightened about something chasing us,” he chuckled, “And I told you I had to become a human to hide us.”
She stilled for all but a moment, containing the inflection in her voice, “I hadn’t realized you weren’t human in these adventures.”
“Neither had I,” he laughed, eyeing her simple supper. “Would you care for a bit of mine?” He gestured to the seasoned chicken and roasted vegetables and rich sauce.
(Y/N) couldn’t help but chortle, “Sir, there are rules between kitchen maids and professors.”
“Rules about a bit of chicken?”
She gave him a look, “Are you like this with any of the other staff? Do you blur the lines with them too?”
He cleared his throat, using a teacup saucer to give her a portion of his meal, “You cooked it, you should be able to eat it too.”
“Thank you,” she said softly, “But that didn’t answer my question.”
John swallowed a mouthful, “Has she asked about me at all?”
(Y/N) burned her tongue on the stew. She knew he was going to say Nurse Redfern, but it didn’t make hearing it any better.
“Once or twice.”
“And?” he pressed, abandoning his knife and fork.
She shrugged, “Joan’s always been cautious of her feelings. She keeps asking if you talk about her at all. I suppose because she wants to know if you’re interested before she makes a move.”
“And what have you told her?” he asked, leaning forward, wide eyed at her words.
“That she should go with her instincts,” (Y/N) said quietly, “That she should stop doubting herself.”
John positively beamed, “Oh, now that’s brilliant.” He fell back in his chair, grinning, “Well done with the spy work.”
(Y/N) felt her stomach squirm again, pushing her food around. She couldn’t help but feel special that John sought her out for company – hopeful that it was because his human self took an interest in her unlike the Time Lord version. But he still couldn’t fathom a future with her, fake life or not.
It made her queasy.
“Are you alright?” he asked, digging into his food once more.
“Fine,” she said warily, “Just fine.”
~~~
It was later in the evening, an hour past the usual time for dinner, and (Y/N) was ascending the staircase towards the professor quarters.
There was a request from John Smith: a bowl of soup and crackers. There was a report of an upset stomach and slight fever, meaning he would take supper in his room.
He asked that she deliver it personally and it was almost hilarious when she told the lady’s maid that the assistant cook was to leave the kitchens.
It was foreign walking the halls of the school, but she felt a thrill of excitement at seeing John again. As always she couldn’t help but hope he wanted to see her because he finally realized he liked her.
And as always she was disappointed beyond belief.
She knocked on his door and nudged it open with her hip, tray of soup in hand. She was able to catch the last second of Nurse Redfern kissing John’s forehead.
Of course Joan was there. John was sick.
“Oh, goodness,” Joan gasped, “The kitchen maid.”
“(Y/N),” John said warmly, flushed at having been caught in an intimate moment. “You’ve brought my supper.”
(Y/N) bowed her head, refusing to look at him, and she hurried to place the tray on his side table. She could see Joan holding her stethoscope tersely from the corner of her eye.
In a small voice (Y/N) asked, “Might I inquire after the patient?”
“He’ll be alright,” Joan replied, “Just a tinge of the flu.”
John smiled, “I’ll be right as rain in the morning.” He spotted the way she refused to look at him. “Thank you, for answering my call.”
“Always,” she said instantly. “I’ll always answer.”
She stood there rather awkwardly for another minute, Joan clearing her throat to excuse the silence.
“That’ll be all,” the nurse said.
(Y/N) curtseyed, scrambling to get out, “Of course, sorry. If there’s anything else…”
“Thank you,” John said again, his voice quieter.
She didn’t dare look at him to see if his face matched the sweet sound of the thank you. She instead ran to the nearest stairwell and found refuge in the staff quarters.
She felt the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver in her pocket, a little reminder of the mission at hand. A small part of her chest began to hurt as she clutched the short piece of metal. It grounded her with thoughts of distant planets and endangered people. Of quick breaths stuck between a tight space.
It was easy to fend off her affections when the Doctor was too busy to look on anyone else. But with the steady pace of a human life, he was falling for another. And that realization pained her like nothing else.
She could only wish the three months went by quickly.
~~~
The Doctor stood outside the tardis, framed by the grey hills of 1913 England. The wind was whipping his coat about, sending his hair into a frenzy.
It was so him, it was making her sigh with relief.
“Hello there,” (Y/N) said, climbing the hill, “Feeling more like yourself?”
“Yes, well…” he shook one of his legs, “The right foot still feels a bit like John Smith. But the rest of me is one hundred percent the Doctor.”
(Y/N) laughed, looking at him fondly, “You sound like yourself again.”
He returned the soft look, “Thank you – for taking care of me.”
She cleared her throat, “You’re welcome.” But there was another unspoken question on the tip of her tongue. She didn’t want to sound too curious but she whispered, “How was Joan?”
“Fine,” he answered immediately, “She’ll be alright.”
“Right,” (Y/N) said, “I’m sure it couldn’t have been easy to… to say goodbye. You were so fond of each other.”
“John was,” the Doctor said, “And he is a part of me. So by proxy I suppose I am somewhat fond of her.”
(Y/N) nodded to herself, taking a step towards the tardis door, but the Doctor blocked her way.
“But a life with her isn’t possible,” he said softly. “It’s not a life I want.” He so desperately wanted her to look up at him. The way she avoided his gaze was sending that familiar ache through his chest.
He hadn’t realized that his human self would pursue another woman. He could imagine how difficult that must’ve been for her to witness – encourage even.
“That was a fake life, (Y/N),” he urged her to hear his words, “The life I have now, with you, is what I want.”
She tilted her head up towards him. “That’s kind of you to say, Doctor, but you don’t have…”
“No, you’re not hearing me,” he said, taking her hand. “I love my life because of you. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. You are who I’m fond of. You are who I trust. It’s always been you, (Y/N). Long before this adventure.”
She still had disbelief in her eyes but a smile was growing on her face, “Really?”
He laughed, “Quite a pair, aren’t we?”
“I adore it,” she laughed along, “All of it.” She clutched at his hand, “I love you too.”
“Now,” he kissed her knuckles, “I don’t believe I said love.”
“Yeah you did,” she mused, leaning into him, craning her neck to reach.
He eyed her lips, speaking in that quick, eccentric way, “Yeah, well… let me say it with less words then.” And he kissed her against the tardis.
Summary - Movie night leads to the cutest moment
Tumblr media
Traveling with the doctor made everything a little bit more complicated. There were times that you thought you had died and gone to heaven because surely this wasn’t your life! Surely you weren’t fighting aliens and monsters and everything in between. But, somehow it was your reality and you loved every last second of it.
You loved being able to save all of those innocent beings, you loved the thrill of running for your life hand in hand with a handsome timelord, you loved the excitement of waking up wondering what new planet you were going to wind up on, and you especially loved your doe-eyed, sticky uppy haired timelord.
That's right you had fallen head over heels with the Doctor. There was something so utterly fantastic about him, that you couldn’t help yourself. He was like the painting museums kept hidden in the very back, not admired by everyone but the ones who saw the beauty in it enough to stay were truly lucky. The TARDIS never took him to where he wanted to go, but only where he needed to go. And, she took him to you- you of all the creatures and being in the universe.  You felt lucky enough that he picked you as his companion, although he would always say that you picked him.
This was the biggest mystery in the whole entire universe to you. But, you decided to thank your lucky stars she had deemed you worthy of him.
Your relationship with the Doctor was interesting to say the very least. There would be fleeting glances, small touches, and most importantly…movie nights.  Because, if the Doctor was one thing- he was a sap when it came to seeing you happy.
Nothing seemed to make you happier than having a weekly movie night. A simple time where you two were able to stay in and enjoy each other's company and simply be in the stillness. At first, the Doctor absolutely hated it. He was a time lord for heaven’s sake! He was meant to be running about and fixing things, but you quickly changed his mind. Especially once the Christmas season rolled around.
There you were in your very fuzzy large hoodie in your absolutely favorite color, or your  “movie night hoodie” as you deemed it. You had made yourself a makeshift fort amongst all the blankets the Doctor seemed to have in his movie room. Even though you’ve spent what felt like years with the Doctor and his little blue box, you still find yourself constantly surprised by new things. The excitement seemed to practically burst out of you as you wiggled in your spot on the very large couch.
The best part about tonight was that it was your turn to pick the movie. Last week the doctor picked ‘A Muppets Christmas Carol’, which he claimed was an utter classic (and he was absolutely right). It was honestly adorable to see him get so passionate about something for you, something so very human. It warmed your heart to see someone who had the universe at his very fingertips willing to pay attention to you and what you liked.
Tonight you decided to pick one of your all-time favorite Christmas movies ‘Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer’. This was the movie you were brought up on as a child, and even though your childhood had some rocky patches in it this movie always brought up wonderfully warm nostalgia.
Slowly your head moved back and forth as the title credits began to play. You could practically feel the Christmas spirit swell up in your belly like some kind of Christmas magic. Funny how pure moments from our childhood can make us believe in magic all over again.
“Please tell me you didn’t start it without me!” The Doctor peaked his head into the room as he carried a tower of snacks with everything from popcorn, candy, and even some perfectly balanced mugs of hot cocoa in his arms.
Your eyes flicked over to him as they widened with anxiety. “Doctor I swear if you drop any of that-” you sighed as he raised an eyebrow at you before setting everything down on the coffee table. Smugly he gave you a ‘you were saying’ look as you picked up the blankets and he snuggled up right next to you.
Sometimes you forgot just how affectionate this regeneration of his was, and honestly, you didn’t mind. His ninth regeneration was kind, but never like this. He never curled up to you like a cat desperately seeking warmth. But, ten on the other hand…well he was a completely different story.
“No of course I didn’t start it without you, the opening credits are just a mile long, so I thought we’d get those out of the way,” you said as you kept nodding your head along to the music
“Ah, how smart of you, no wonder I chose you as my companion.” he hummed wrapping one arm around yours and resting his head on your shoulder. When he was this close it made you want to confess every last thing you felt for him. But, something always held you back and you always let it.
Trying your very best to ignore how fast your heart was pounding you turned your attention to the movie and forced yourself to get lost in it. Everything was going perfectly until-
“What do you mean they won’t let him be a dentist!” The Doctor exclaimed sitting up straight with concern in his eyes. He looked like a golden retriever who just lost his favorite ball, and it made your heart utterly melt.
“Well they want him to be an elf just like everyone else is, he has to make toys for Santa, or else no one thinks he’s any use.” you tried your best to explain but it seemed fruitless.
“NO USE?!?! Y/N dear there’s plenty of use for a dentist at the North Pole! Do you know how much sugar those elves digest on a daily basis?” he said taking a couple of sips of his hot cocoa.
“Oh just watch the movie spaceman.”  you playfully rolled your eyes as you patted the spot next to you again, and happily, he settled back down. This time resting his head in your lap. Oh the things this alien does to you
A little while later you were on the part where Rudolph decides to sacrifice himself if needs be and rescue his hometown. Glancing down at the Doctor a small smile formed on your lips as you saw how intently he was watching the movie. Absentmindedly, you started to play with his hair. Then all of a sudden you heard a soft “Y/N?” and you froze.
Gently, he reached up and grabbed your hand encouraging you to keep going “No no please don’t stop, I um erm um I like it.” he choked out awkwardly but it warmed your soul nonetheless. So, you kept going and could practically feel him relax into you.
It was peaceful moments like this with the Doctor that you’d always valued. There was nothing quite like being able to sit on the couch and make the man who always runs relax for a couple of moments. Not every person can claim they’ve managed to tame the Doctor, but you proudly have. Even if it was just a little bit. To you, it meant the entire world- no the entire universe.
There you two laid, a tangled mess of Christmas warmth and love, even if it was just platonic love you were okay with that. For to be loved by the Doctor in any fashion was the greatest kind of them all. As the end of the movie played neither of you dared to move from your spots. Too scared you’d break the magic that seemed to be surrounding you.
“Doctor-”
“Y/N”
You two blushed a light pink as you laughed at the awkward moment. Slowly, he picked up his head from your lap moving closer to you. His eyes held a mixture of fear, love, worry, and adoration. Somehow you could tell that it was all for you. After a long silence, he finally blurted out something he’d been dying to ask since you bumped into the TARDIS.
“Can I kiss you?”
Without even thinking you quickly nodded moving impossibly closer to him. Your heart was racing faster and faster, and to be honest you were a little concerned that you’d have a heart attack. Then, as if out of a dream, it finally happened.
His lips collided with yours in a beautiful sympathy, and you knew for sure then that you truly loved him. His kiss was everything you ever dreamed about and even more. Your arms wrapped around his neck as his hand got tangled up in your hair as he smiled in the kiss.
As you two pulled back for some air you both wore the same dopey love-sick grin. “Merry Christmas Doctor,” you whispered gently.
“Oh merry Christmas my shooting star,” he replied stealing another kiss from you…and another….and another….and- oh you get the point.
Homesick
this is a Doctor who fanfic, it's almost like a big experiment that I'm doing with a lot, LIKE A LOT, of theories or headcanons in it, crucial to this story (not all of them but whatever). I will put every source I use in this fics and if this series continues they will be A LOT. today's source tho it's just one @/whynotjohnlock I took something from them so thank you for the informations. There are some "uncanny valley" references but I tried to explain them as best as I could, let's just say it's full of nerd stuff and it will only get worst :)
♤♤♤♤
pairing: 9th Doctor x reader (will eventually become 10th later on.)
English is not my first language so I apologise for the mistakes.
♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧
The street Y/n is walking in makes him nauseous, he saw that street so many times...the buildings, the houses, the people...all the same all the time, it's like living a nightmare: 20 years always in the same place with the same faces and the same dreams, dreams that not even he can believe.
Y/n lights up a cigarette letting the smoke fill his lungs and brain, it's poisonous yet it feels so good, the way his brain gets dizzy everytime the smoke gets in his body it's what he needs, it's the best feeling he can get in that small town somewhere.
He looks at the too familiar place with dead eyes, not even an emotion, maybe disgust for the place, he knows he will die in the same house he grew up in, like all the people in that fucking place, he will die sad and alone like his father before him, and the father of his father; lonliness and bad behaviour run strong in his family, as much as he hates it he is his parents' son, he has the same destructive, hot tempered and maybe pessimistic side of his father but the horrible, pathetic, useless kind heart his mother had..great woman his mother, always there to help the others until one day she helped the wrong person.
The street is looking as he remembers except for a tiny little detail, there's a phone box hidden in an alley, he has seen that alley a million times before but that blue box? it appeared from no where, almost a glitch in the matrix, he thinks; he's such a nerd.
Y/n steps closer carefully looking in case the owner is around, he feels the blue wood on his fingers genlty caressing it with his right hand, it's almost like the blue box can feel it, Y/n can swear he saw it light up for a tiny second. He steps away shaking his head, the door of the box is locked, he does take a picture tho, unusual to see something like that, it brought up feelings Y/n forgot he had.
"and who are you?" A voice behind him makes him flinch for a second, he never heard that voice before, Y/n turn around trying to go back to his stern look rather than the curiosity that made his face soften making him look like a kid.
"Is that yours?" Y/n asks crossing his arms, the man is wearing a big leather jacket and he's almost bald with a really noticeable nose, but overall he looks attractive Y/n has to be honest with himself
"answering a question with a question?" The man smirked in a sort of cheeky way, not arrogant even if it seemed that way
"avoiding to answer the question?" Y/n shot back tilting his head slightly, the man was a bit taller than him, probably much older, his eyes were at least, to the point where his face didn't match them.
"that is mine" the man answered in a calm tone, he looked weird tho, he didn't fit in properly, he was an english guy with a northern accent owner of a blue box in a hidden alley. Y/n looks at him suspiciously, his mind racing trying to think about what could be in that blue box, the most stupid reason comes to his mind but it's too late to stop his own mouth.
"what do you hide there? drugs? It won't take long for someone to notice it, it's a small town people talk." Y/n says looking around the alley but apparently there was nobody except for them, the man looks at Y/n puzzled and then speaks
"will you talk?" he asks waiting for an answer, Y/n raises his eyebrows, he was so weird, yet fascinating.
"no.." Y/n answers unsure looking between the man and that blue box
"great then, see ya" he says entering the blue box, but he leaves the door open, Y/n looks around the box, he hears noises coming from inside, he takes a look not sure what to expect but anything was better than the usual.
The blue box was bigger on the inside, Y/n couldn't believe his eyes, he steps in rapidly scanning the place and taking information, he processes everything as fast as he can but he feels his mind about to explode; the man is going around the console pressing buttons untill he notices the young man and smirks
"do you always come in when you're not invited?" he asks looking at Y/n with the same smug face as before
"do you always leave the door open for strangers?" He answers back quickly, too busy wondering around with his eyes to pay attention to the man
"this is the TARDIS, Time And Relative Dimension In Space" he explains crossing his arms and leaning on the console
"I was going to say bigger on the inside but.." Y/n starts to walk around biting his lower lip to think "maybe pocket dimension, this TARDIS is probably on another plane of existence or does it expand this one?" Y/n asks but wasn't waiting for an answer he just keeps thinking stopping sometimes humming a bit and then keeps talking
"if it travels in the fourth dimension, commonly known as time then it has the ability to change its weight and size...even appearance" he kept going mostly talking to himself
"it needs an incredible amount of power...a star maybe, a black hole even if less likely..fascinating tho, this can't be human and neither can you" He turns to the man who had a surprised look rather than a smug one, even a little bit amused by the man wondering around his TARDIS
"almost like uncanny valley just less scary I guess, my brain recognised you as an human being, yet something about you seemed off even if I couldn't recall what was it," Y/n affirms tilting his head to the side, that's what he always does when he's pointing out or suspecting something or at least that's what the man in the leather jacket noticed about him.
"so, what's your name?" he finishes getting closer to the man
"The Doctor" he answer with a tiny smirk crossing his arms in front of Y/n
"Doctor who?" Y/n asks raising his eyebrows, 'The Doctor' chuckles, he heard that question a lot Y/n thinks,
"just The Doctor" He says smiling at Y/n, a wide smile impressed by the younger man knowledge
"apparently you don't need me to explain how the TARDIS works.." he says while Y/n shrugs
"I failed physics 4 times, I know it by heart now" he explains in a low tone as if someone else could hear him and call him a nerd.
"you want to see it in action?" The Doctor says pressing some buttons as Y/n tryes to play it cool and hide the excitement
"is that even a question?" he just says screaming internally, finally something different, he can't believe he is leaving that small town, this can't be real, he might have bumped his head and now he's in coma.
"where are we going?" Y/n asks still focusing on the Doctor's movement, which buttons he presses and when, he can almost feel the levers and buttons under his fingers, he wants to drive the TARDIS, just to know how it feels like.
"anywhere you li-" as The Doctor tries to finish the sentence the TARDIS shakes making both of them fall to the ground, Y/n bumps his head as he groans in pain raising his hand to reach his head.
As the TARDIS stops Y/n stands up still holding his head massaging it and then turns to The Doctor with a stern look
"who gave you the licence, a fucking monkey? no not even a monkey, they would drive it better!" Y/n complains but the other man doesn't listen to him, instead he steps outside with a courious look on his face, Y/n follows him mumbling things under his breath
"we're in London?" he says looking around, Y/n scoffs
"anywhere in time and space and you bring me in London...in 2005!" he whines following the man in the city, Y/n clearly doesn't fit in, with his earrings and general piercings he looks like the lost member of the Tokyo Hotel however he tries to let the weird looks from the people slide for now,
"I didn't bring you here, the TARDIS brought us here for some reason," The Doctor answers
From that moment on things happen, they meet Rose,she's great and Y/n likes her. they fight with mannequins and a disgusting looking thing, Mickey is there too, not as great as Rose but whatever. It's time to go, Y/n knows the Doctor wants to take Rose with him, something is going on, it's clear in their eyes. Mickey is hiding behind a pallet, pathetic, Y/n thinks but doesn't say anything about it.
"a lot of good you were" Rose says looking at the man who's leaning on the TARDIS doorway, Y/n is outside, watching the scene carefully, his bleeding due to scratches on his face he tried to clean them with a tissue but that's what he gets for starting a fight with mannequins.
"Nestene Consciousness? Easy" he says with a smug smirk, Rose and Y/n let out a scoff
"you were useless in there, you'd be dead if it wasn't for me"
at the end of it Rose runs in the TARDIS, The Doctor smiles widely running to the console, even Y/n let's out a little smile looking at Rose, letting her know he's happy she came with them.
"Right then, Rose Tyler, you tell me. Where do you want to go? Backwards or fowards in time. It's your choice. What's it going to be?" The Doctor asks turning to Rose while Y/n quickly turns to him with a annoyed face,
" hey! what about me?" he says, after all he still didn't get a trip, or well he did but in London, 2005...that could've gone a bit better honestly.
"I don't talk to people with a black eye" he says turning to Y/n who mumbles "wait until I get you a black eye"
--
After the end of the earth, Y/n feels bad, mostly because Rose was so sentimental and sad of watching the earth get burned, he insisted watched, he watched with relief, the place that hurt him many many many years ago is burning down, he's watching it burn down. Rose calls her mom, she feels homesick, she doesn't want to look at it, Y/n tho he is watching every second of it, he's silent, his hands in his pockets, his face still bruised by the first trip, in his eyes the reflection of his world burning but no sign of sadness, to be clear no sign of anything. Rose's homesick, Y/n's home makes him sick.
The Doctor notice it, he sees the difference between his two new companions, he sees the difference in how they perceive things, when they killed Cassandra, Rose knew it was the right thing and maybe was even ok with it, Y/n wasn't, he glanced at The Doctor with rage and disappointment, how could he kill someone so easily? The Doctor tries to put a hand on Y/n shoulder but doesn't, instead Rose talks while watching the asteroids
"The end of the Earth. It's gone. We were too busy saving ourselves. No one saw it go. All those years, all that history, and no one was even looking. It's just" Rose stops not able to continue, The Doctor shifts his gaze from Y/n to Rose smiling as he easily understand her better than he can understand him.
"come with me" he says heading back to the TARDIS with rose following him, Y/n tho stays still amd that's when Rose notices the white knuckles of the man getting white while his fists get tighter,
"Y/n, you're coming?" she asks touching the man's arm lightly almost afraid, his hand relaxes as he looks at her trying to fake a calm expression as his gaze softens
"sure," he nods forcing his lips to curve in a smile.
They're back in London standing in the crowd, kids crying, people yelling and all that, Y/n sighs looking around, he doesn't understand if he's as relieved as Rose at the sight of normality but for now he turns to the other two as the Doctor begins to speak
"You think it'll last forever, people and cars and concrete, but it won't. One day it's all gone. Even the sky. My planet's gone. It's dead. It burned like the Earth. It's just rocks and dust before its time." he says opening up, Y/n remembers what they said, the last of his kind, he listens closely not talking or interrupting, he just listens to the man.
"I'm a Time Lord. I'm the last of the Time Lords. They're all gone. I'm the only survivor. I'm left travelling on my own 'cos there's no one else." he continues after Rose asked a few questions
"you have me, us" she corrects herself looking at Y/n, he looks at her and The Doctor nodding even if he knows it's not how Rose thinks, it's cute how she thinks that enough but it's not, The Doctor is alone, he doesn't have anyone to share his grief with, as much as we try no one could understand his feeling, he's alone, he will always be alone no matter how many companions he has no one will ever fill that void, Y/n knows as he looks in The Doctor's eyes and The Doctor knows too as he look at Y/n almost like he read his thoughts
"You've seen how dangerous it is. Do you want to go home?" The Doctor asks the both of them but mostly looking at Rose, she hesitates for a few second but before she can answer Y/n speaks
"I want chips, who's with me?" he says as the other two laugh and nod
"chips it is then" The Doctor says and Rose takes his arm looking up at him
"Right then, before you get me back in that box, chips it is, and you can pay." she says chuckling slightly flirting with the man
"no money" he answered and Y/n let's out a light scoff almost like a chuckle
"my treat," he says looking at the two
"see that's a gentleman" Rose jokes nudging The Doctor
"yeah, he almost won me" The Doctor says and Y/n winks at him
the three laugh heading to get chips before going back in the TARDIS for another adventure.
