Summary - You show The Doctor a few new moves
Tumblr media
Never travel alone. That was the one piece of advice The Doctor always seemed to get. But, no matter how hard he tried he always lost everyone. Some would call him a hero, others a villain. He would call himself a lost cause, a soul floating alone in the wide universe desperate for a friend.
He never viewed his past companions in a negative light. For him, they sparkled like diamonds in the Gallifrey suns. Only to be tarnished by the sadness that seemed to wash over him if he sat and thought about them for too long.
Especially Rose, always Rose. She was one of the special ones. The one that saw him for who he truly was and still choose to stay and even love him. Gods did he truly love her. She was everything to him, and that’s why it pained him so badly to say goodbye and that's why he’d never let something like that happen again. At least not if he could help it.
The Doctor needed a break, he needed to go somewhere where he wasn’t a walking hazard to everyone around him. Where ever he went trouble always seemed to follow, and he wanted to desperately avoid that this time. He wanted to live up to his name this time around and actually do some good (at least good in his eyes).
So, he sent the Tardis to 14th-century England. The good old renaissance period! He wasn’t exactly sure what he was expecting when it came to showing up in this period. If anything he’d just walk around watching the humans as they were a little more native during this period, and maybe even eat one of those big turkey legs. He always wondered how humans were able to simply eat a turkeys leg that big. But, that's humans for you - always finding new ways to eat things.
With a small hum, he parked the Tardis in a discreet corner and trudged around the town square. A tiny shadow of a smile began to tug at his lips as he let his eyes wander around the town. The hustle and bustle of it all warmed his heart. Slowly but surely he spun around trying to get the full effect of everything that was happening around him.
Sudden music lit up the town as he walked deeper into the heart of the square and everyone seemed to happily join in on the fun. Respectfully he kept his distance from it all. He wanted to watch for now instead of interrupt things. However, that plan was practically destroyed when he saw you.
You were in the center of what looked like to be a dance circle. Spinning, dancing, and clapping to your heart's content. The Doctor felt both his hearts melt at the same time and knew he was truly in for it now.
Without even realizing it he began to walk closer to the action, or if he was being truthful- closer to you. You were like the warmest bit of sunshine the universe had to offer, and he was freezing to death. The simple sight of you was enough to grip him by his wacky tie and pull him deep down for a wild ride he had no idea he signed up for.
Whilst you were dancing you couldn’t help the smile that graced your features. You weren’t relatively sought after on any other normal day. Being the daughter of the village's flower seller didn’t come with any amazing dowry. However, when you danced during the festival heads turned. You secretly adored the attention, any person surely would.
However, this night was different and you couldn’t put your finger quite on why. Until you saw him. The tall handsome stranger that seemed to only have eyes for you. He wore the strangest clothes you had ever seen. But, they seemed to fit him rather well. Your eyes mainly wanted to focus on his deep brown chocolate eyes and the messiest hair you’d ever seen.
As he seemed to get closer and closer to you, you reached out your hand silently asking for a dance. The whole world seemed to stop as he slowly glanced down at your hand and then back up to your eyes. His right eyebrow rose up almost to ask if you truly meant it. To this, you nodded and noticed the sweetest gentle smile that rose to his lips upon seeing this.
Even The Doctor, the oncoming storm, couldn’t deny nor fight the spark that rose within him when he finally took your hand in his. Excitedly, you practically dragged him into the center and let the music move your feet. Both of The Doctor’s heart’s raced against his chest as you lead him in a semi-traditional dance. His eyes were glued to your feet desperately trying to save you from the pain of him accidentally stepping on you.
You, however, would not settle for this. Gently you stopped and took his chin in your fingers lifting his head up to meet yours again. With the warmest smile on your face you took one of his hands and guided it to your waist, and helped the other up with your hand. Lacing his fingers with yours, which seemed to make the entire universe halt to a standstill.
“Ready?” He said taking the biggest breath his lungs could manage.
“Always,” you replied with an eager grin on your face.
“Well in that case,” he paused for dramatic effect (time lords were drama kings but you knew this already) “, ALLONS-Y!” He cheered along with the crowd.
This was when he truly let loose, showing you exactly what he was made of. Each giggle that escaped your lips only pushed him further as he skipped with you throughout the dance circle. Lifting you high into the air, you practically felt like you were flying. When he did bring you back to earth, you could feel yourself slowly fall in love. You two spun and twirled, and he even managed a few dips in there.
“And here I thought you weren't a dancer!” You giggled as he spun you in a lift, that giggle being music to his ears.
“Well, you know what they say…. You have dancing shoes with nimble shoes. I have a soul of lead.” he spoke fast trying to brush over the fact that what he said hit too close to home, and that he just ripped off a future playwright.
The evening seemed to fly by with the brightest colors. You and The Doctor were stuck to each other like paper and glue, and neither of you wanted to leave the other's sight. You showed him everything your small English town had to offer, and he even got to impress you by buying you whatever you wanted from the local vendors.
“Wait so you’re saying you’ve never had a turkey leg?” You over dramatically gasped as you stared at him with wide eyes. In which he swore he could see stars.
“Yep!” he said popping the ‘p’ “What is that so hard to believe?” He raised an eyebrow trying to keep a serious expression. But, that was proven impossible by what happened next.
You shoved a turkey leg into his hands as you looked up expectantly. “Yes it is, try it!” You sassed not leaving him any room to question you. Well here went nothing. The things people (and timelords) did when falling in love right? Closing his eyes he bit into it, and surprisingly it wasn’t…the worst. In fact, it was far from it. “Oh my goodness this is brilliant! What legs will you humans think of eating next?” he chuckled shaking his head as he prepared himself for another bite.
There you stood utterly bewildered by the fact that this man in front of you could look at life with as much excitement and joy as you did. But, perhaps that’s because he called you lot humans instead something…..normal. Which, should have worried you more than it did. Maybe all you needed was a man from the stars to truly understand you, to whisk you away to far-off places, and help you never return again. But, that was just wishful thinking.
As the night came to a close you couldn’t help but feel a bit sad at the fact that you might never see this handsome stranger ever again. But, perhaps that’s all you were ever meant to be. Just two passing ships in the night.
You two walked aimlessly back to the center of town where it all began, and The Doctor paused for a brief moment. Thinking that what he was going to say next he might regret in the future, but he had to let his hearts try. At least one last time.
“So, listen tonight was great…fantastic even and I was-”
“Doctor listen if you’re trying to let me down easy, just tell me I’m used to it by now.” you cut him off nervously and his eyes widened.
“What no! I was wondering if you’d like to come back to my erm…box I’d love to show you something.” Once that sentence left his lips he inwardly cringed, that never EVER came out right.
Your face scrunched up hearing this “Show me something….in your box?” you asked awkwardly. So, he was crazy. Leave it to you to fall in love with the crazy visitor.
“It’s about as weird as it sounds, but trust me it’ll blow-oh just come with me.” he huffed taking your hand in his once more and tugging you towards his Tardis.
Jokingly, you rolled your eyes finding it hard to keep up with him at times. “Well, Allons-y then.” you teased repeating him from earlier that night.
Upon seeing the strange blue box your suspicions were only raised. At least he wasn’t lying about the box part. Your eyes flicked back and forth between The Doctor and the box. A soft grin lay on his face as he opened the door.
“Please you first,” he said holding the door wide open for you.
Sighing, you swallowed your courage and walked into The Doctor’s box not even slightly prepared for what you were about to see.
Your eyes widened as you danced around the center console room trying to grasp what exactly was happening.
What fell out of your lips was The Doctors absolute favorite part of gaining a new companion. “It’s bigger on the inside!” you gasped.
The Doctor smiled.

🫀REQUESTS ARE OPEN🫀 || Doctor Who-inspired playlist
Imagine the Doctor being there for you when you're upset.
You were having a very porcupine day and the Doctor quite quickly caught on - he's always been good at noticing changes in your mood. So far he's been eyeing you from afar, checking if you were already bursting at the seams with whatever storm that was boiling inside you. A simple slight of hand seemed to be the tipping point for your already bad day:
The phone slipped out of your hand and clashed against the TARDIS floor with a loud, bright bang that echoed throughout the room. It was in no way a worrying or rare situation - given the regular turbulence the ship experiences, your phone has already wiped all the dust from the metal floor. That day, however, that daily annoyance felt like the end of the world. It seemed as if the universe herself decided to poke you with a stick, pushing you to the edge of your wits.
Having sat on the floor to reach your phone, the Doctor couldn't see you from his position behind the flight controls. For a moment, the only thing that hinted at your existence was a strain of spat out swears and threats aimed at inanimate objects.
"What's wrong?" the Doctor asked in an unnerved tone. In his experience, even a slight spoil of humour could be tied to completely catastrophic events.
Not hearing your immediate response, he walked around the console to see what was going on with you. Fortunately, you were just sitting on the floor with your head resting against the rail behind you. As an expression of frustration, you gently banged your head against the metal contraption.
"I... I don't know," you confessed quietly. Your eyes were shut tight and you could only imagine the Doctor's worried expression. "I'm just... sad. And angry."
"Can I help?"
His offer made you open your eyes. Even when you weren't exactly pleasant o be around at the time, the Doctor remained ever so kind and worried. Although deep down you wished he'd leave you alone, you knew he meant well and did not deserve any bad attitude. You took a deep breath before answering him:
"No, I don't think so."
You closed your eyes again and let out a deep sigh. You heard the Doctor hum quietly as if he was thinking about something. Then you heard the sound of the heels of his shoes tapping against the floor as he walked away, disappearing somewhere among the endless labyrinth of corridors. When the echo of his footsteps became inaudible, there was only you and the gentle thrum of TARDIS's engines. It felt nice to be alone for a moment - it was a rare opportunity while travelling with the Doctor and when it did arise anywhere outside of those four walls, a disaster soon followed.
There was no way for you to tell how much time he'd been gone but it felt too short - despite the fondness you felt for him. The sound of his feet against the metal floor only grew louder and so you assumed he was walking towards you.
Hearing as he came to a halt right next to you but not saying anything, you opened your eyes once again. The Doctor was towering over you with a cup in his hand. He extended his arm towards you, clearly offering you a beverage. There was a faint cloud of steam hovering above it. Despite everything, he was always as caring as he could possibly be.
"Okay, yes, you can help," you told him. The Doctor's face contorted into a soft smile.
A shadow of happiness run across your face when you took the mug from him. It was pleasantly warm. The aroma of berries, citrus and clove reached your nostrils and you couldn't stop yourself from taking a deeper breath to bask in the lovely, spicy-sweet fragrance.
The Doctor leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss on the top of your head. Then he returned to the impressive console in the middle of the room, resuming whatever maintenance he had paused for you. From time to time he would glance at you to check how you were doing. Love always poured out of him, even when no words were spoken.

The Ring
tenth doctor x f!reader
Summary: In which the only way for you and the Doctor to get out of this one is a fake marriage. But how fake is it really?
Tumblr media
You keeled over, your breath coming out in short pants. You weren't as good at this running thing as the Doctor was.
Sensing you weren’t behind him, the Doctor turned to check on you. You threw your thumb up, signaling that you were okay. You didn’t like the Doctor worrying about you.
“I’m sure we’ve lost them for now,” he assured, rubbing his hand on the back of his neck. It was a nervous tick that he had.
“What are we going to do?” You asked once you had caught your breath. You allowed your legs to fold underneath you, sitting in the grass. The Doctor crouched down next to you.
It was supposed to be a nice vacation, a break from the hustle and bustle of time traveling. You had explicitly asked for a relaxing trip, one where you didn’t have to save the world or run for your life. You should have known that was never how it was with the Doctor.
Everything was fine at first. The alien town the Doctor had selected for your trip was throwing an elaborate festival. You were more than happy to partake in the dancing and sample the foreign foods. What you failed to notice was the ritual behind the festival. The village selected an unmarried woman each year to sacrifice to their gods. In retrospect, it wasn’t the weirdest ritual you had encountered over the years. What made it so uncomfortable was the fact they had selected you.
“I would rather not be a blood sacrifice,” you admitted, pushing your wayward hair out of your face.
“I won’t let that happen,” The Doctor said seriously, taking your hand gently. He had the duty of care, something that he didn’t take lightly.
“I’m not sure how much good we are against a whole village of bloodthirsty aliens,” you laughed, burying your head in your hands. You should have been scared, upset even. Instead, you found the whole thing funny. You supposed that was a side effect of traveling with the Doctor. Everything could always be worse, and everything in front of you could always be funny. You just had to frame it the right way.
“I have an idea,” the Doctor murmured. You looked up at him, confused. He only whispered things when he knew you wouldn’t like them.
“They only want to sacrifice you because you’re unmarried,” he stated. You stared at him, unsure of the point he was trying to make.
He groaned, running a hand down his face in frustration.
“I’m gonna need you to spell this one out for me,” you laughed lightly.
The Doctor swallowed anxiously, his Adam’s apple bobbing aggressively. “We could get married,” he said matter-of-factly, with the same tone he used to ask if you wanted tea or coffee in the morning.
“What?” you asked, wide-eyed. The Doctor swallowed again, his eyes diverting from yours.
You loved the Doctor, in every sense of the word. He was your home, your comfort. He was everything and more to you. But he only loved you as a friend, and you were more than willing to accept that love. It was better to love him like this than not at all.
“They can’t sacrifice you if we get married.”
“No, I got that part,” you rushed out, waving your hands about anxiously.
“You,” you sighed, pausing before continuing, “marry me?”
“To save your life, yes,” the Doctor said like it was the simplest thing in the world. He would walk to the ends of the universe for you. He had.
“Can we do that?” you laughed, squeezing your eyes shut. The whole thing felt too good to be true.
“I can’t think of anyone else I would rather fake-marry,” he smiled, taking your hands in his again.
You grinned, the smile taking over your whole face. The Doctor loved it when you smiled like that. He loved it even more when he made you smile like that.
“Let’s get fake married!” you laughed, jumping up from the grass. The Doctor nodded in agreement, standing up next to you.
“How exactly…” you trailed off. “Are we going to get fake married?” The Doctor had a habit of making plans without a way to execute them.
It wasn’t like you could just walk into the village church and get married. You certainly couldn’t go back to the TARDIS, or that would have been the plan before suggesting a falsified marriage.
“There was a little cottage on the outskirts of town, we can hope that there’s an inhabitant there who can serve as a witness?” He suggested.
You couldn’t come up with a better idea so you agreed, following the Doctor as he walked off into the distance.
You tried not to read too much into the whole marriage thing. The Doctor was doing it to save your life, nothing more. Still, the mere idea of it left your skin tingling and your heart racing.
You were so lost in thought you hardly noticed the cottage creeping up on you until you were standing on the front steps.
The Doctor rapped his knuckles against the wood softly before stepping back. You waited in silence for a few moments. You could hear the blood pumping in your ears. What if this didn’t work?
The door flung open, revealing an old woman.
“What do you want?” She barked, clearly disturbed by the visit.
The Doctor cleared his throat, searching for his words. You frowned, he usually didn’t have any trouble talking to strangers.
“This is a bit of a strange request,” he laughed lightly, his hand drifting towards the back of his neck subconsciously.
“Spit it out, young man.”
You bit back a giggle. The Doctor was far from young, even if this face was youthful.
“We need a witness for our wedding,” he rushed, his words coming out in hurried clusters.
The woman remained silent for a moment, her eyes darting between the two of you. You could see hundreds of questions forming in her mind before she shook them away.
“I don’t want to know,” she murmured as she opened the door.
You exchanged a look of relief with the Time Lord before following her inside.
She bustled about her cottage, sorting things out while the two of you fiddled anxiously in the corner.
“Well, let's get on with it,” she finally sighed.
The Doctor nodded timidly, holding out his hand for you to take. You slipped your hand into his, your fingers interlocking instantaneously. You had held hands hundreds of times, yet it felt different.
With his other hand, the Doctor rifled about in the pockets of his coat. You frowned, wondering what could possibly be in there. Did he really need a jammy dodger from the depths of his pocket right now? Finally, his hand slipped out of the pocket holding two silver rings.
“Why, on Earth, are you carrying around wedding bands?” you laughed. He only shrugged, handing the simple rings over to the old woman. She examined the objects in her hand wistfully, turning them over in her hand.
“I can’t say I’m a professional at this,” she warned. It didn’t really matter to either of you.
The Doctor took your other hand in his, standing face-to-face with you. You laughed at the domesticity of it.
“Do you,” the woman paused, looking at the Doctor.
“John Smith,” The Doctor smiled. You shook your head at his fake name. You had told him hundreds of times that he should change it. No one was really named John Smith, that's the kind of name you only ever found in books.
“Alright,” the woman said, not even blinking. “Do you, John Smith, take this woman to love and hold blah, blah, blah?” She finished, looking back to the Doctor. He wasn’t even looking at her. His eyes were glued to you, studying every single aspect of your face. He never wanted to forget this moment. From your end of things, you were left with a sickly feeling that you had food on your face.
“I do,” He smiled brightly.
“And you?” she turned to you, repeating the process.
“Absolutely,” you grinned.
The woman handed you each a ring, which you placed on the other’s hand. You noted the slight shake in the Doctor’s hands as he slipped the silver band onto your finger.
You had always wanted to get married. Sure, you never imagined it like this. Standing in some random cottage in a pair of worn-out jeans exchanging wedding bands in order to save your life was never your plan. Even still, you wouldn’t trade it for the world.
“You may kiss the bride,” The old woman chided, looking at you two disapprovingly. You were so busy looking into the Doctor’s eyes that you completely forgot about the whole kissing part of getting married.
A scarlet flush overtook your face, but the Doctor pretended not to notice. Instead, he cupped your face in his hands gently, angling it upwards towards his. Slowly, he dipped his way down until his lips were inches away from yours.
You could feel his breath on your mouth, you noted each and every twitch of his lips. Your eyes fluttered closed as he eliminated the gap, his mouth crashing into yours.
He very well could have given you a chaste kiss, the kind you give your gran on Christmas Eve. Instead, he kissed you like his life depended on it. Like he had been thinking about kissing you for eons.
His mouth fit against yours perfectly. There was no other way to describe it.
He pulled away slowly, leaving you stunned and breathless. Your eyes remained closed for a moment, taking it all in. When they finally opened, you saw him. Your Doctor. The impossible, magnificent, loving creature in front of you. It was foolish to claim that such a being was yours alone, but you couldn’t see it any other way.
“Congratulations,” the old woman smiled, pulling you out of your thoughts.
“Thank you,” you smiled meekly, pushing your hair out of your face.
-
You didn’t keep the ring on long. A few days after your wedding it came off with the rest of your jewelry before bed. You just never put it back on. It was a fake wedding after all.
That didn’t mean that you threw it away though. Quite the opposite. The ring sat on your bedside table, occasionally glimmering in the light.
Sometimes, you would run your fingers over it before bed. You relished the idea of it all. The memory of his hands holding yours, the feeling of his lips on yours. It haunted you.
The Doctor, however, never took it off. Not after the wedding. Not before bed. Not when he fiddled with the wires under the TARDIS console.
You noticed this one evening, the dimmed lights of the control room catching on the polished metal.
“Why do you still wear that?” you asked, gesturing to the Doctor’s left hand. His eyes traveled to the band on his finger that he had been idly spinning.
“It’s my wedding band,” he shrugged as if it was as simple as that.
“I’m not sure you can call it that,” you laughed, “I’m not even sure our wedding was legal.”
“It doesn’t have to be,” he frowned, still looking at the ring.
“I can take it off if it bothers you,” he suggested. He didn’t want to take it off, not ever. But if you wanted him to, he would.
“It doesn’t,” you whispered, staring at the space where your own ring used to be. The feeling of his lips came back to you, and you had to push it to the side.
“Did it mean nothing to you?” He asked, his voice hardly above a whisper. If you hadn’t been listening you might have missed it.
“Not at all,” you said, refusing to meet his eyes.
“You don’t wear yours,” he commented, taking your left hand in his. You stared at your interlocked hands, not trusting yourself to meet his eye.
“You married me to save my life,” you stated.
“And?”
“It was a fake marriage.”
“Not to me,” he whispered, running his thumb over the back of your hand. Your eyes drifted up to his face. He was looking at your hand with a pained expression. For the first time, it occurred to you that perhaps the absence of your ring was upsetting to him. For so long, you had assumed that he just wanted to forget the whole thing.
“I love you,” he whispered, “I always wanted you to be my wife.”
You didn’t know what to say. For a minute, you hardly believed the words coming from his mouth.
“I always wanted you to be my husband,” you whispered, leaning in towards him. You paused, your breath bouncing off of his lips. It reminded you of your first kiss, the familiarity of it shocking.
You learned in and kissed him gently, a tender kiss to test the waters. You pulled away, unsure if this was what he wanted. The Doctor gripped your face, crashing his lips against yours in a much more urgent matter. You smiled against his mouth, melting into the kiss.
“My wife,” he chuckled between the kisses he planted all over your face.
“My husband.”

Together Forever
14th doctor x fem!wife!reader
summary: The newly regenerated doctor is finding out some very interesting things about himself. Luckily, his wife is supportive. (super quick drabble).
Tumblr media
"Was it just me, or was issac Newton hot?" Donna asks and y/n giggles, her hand tightening around her husband's as he sways them back and forth.
"he was, wasn't he? he was so hot - ooh, is that who I am now?" The Doctor ponders aloud, and his wife snorts, fondly shaking her head.
"Now?" She asks playfully, raising a teasing eyebrow. The Doctor pauses, pouting as he looks down at her, scrunching his nose as he sniffs.
Donna bursts into a fit of loud laughter, actually wiping tears from her eyes as she looks between the two. "Well," She starts, clutching her stomach as she tries to calm herself. "It was never that far from the surface, mate."
"Literally!" Y/n agrees quickly, nodding her head as she blinks up at him. Her husband rolls his eyes and she gently grabs his cheeks, bending him down so she can kiss his lips softly. "I'm happy you're finding yourself, and I'm even happier that you feel comfortable talking about this." She assures quickly.
The Doctor's eyes soften immediately, a small smile slowly replacing his pout as he looks to Y/n with complete adoration and love. He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her closer, kissing her deeply.
The kiss lasts longer than necessary, but neither of them were complaining. He rests his forehead on hers, pecking her lips again and again before mumbling softly, "I love you."

See, the thing about Time Lords is that they are notoriously competitive. Particularly Time Lords of different regenerations in the same place at the same time. Particularly Time Lords of different regenerations in the same place at the same time who both had (or was it has?) the same companion. Said companion was you. Said Time Lords were the Tenth and the Eleventh regenerations of the Doctor.
When the eleventh Doctor had spouted his way out of a portal and into the tenth’s console room, there had been rather a lot of shouting, a lot of confusion, and a lot of use of the word ‘paradox.’ Quite frankly, if you never heard that word ever again it would be far too soon.
After that, there was a lot of discussion around Eleven not being able to be there because he already knew how all this was going to go. All the things Ten had yet to live, Eleven had already been through and while it was general knowledge that one should not attempt to change one’s own past- one was not always able to control oneself if that particular opportunity should arise.
They’d tried pretty hard at first to figure out how to get him back. There was some ‘timey wimey’ reason as to why they couldn’t just use the TARDIS, and that had been about the extent of time and space travel knowledge you had, so you didn’t put any other suggestions in after that.
And so, Eleven was still with you six months later.
You didn’t know, of course, that Eleven still had you with him after Ten was due to regenerate in the future, not that you knew when that was, but what you also didn’t know until about a month into Eleven’s presence was that your relationship with Ten continued on with Eleven after a brief adjustment period. Fair enough.
And then Ten found out, and as they were both technically (but also not really) the same person, you ended up sleeping with them both. It had been their idea, though you were pretty sure that it had just sort of happened and they decided to take the credit.
Anyway, all this to say- Ten and Eleven knew how to play your body like a violin, and when they worked together it was as if they moved in tandem. It’s own kind of chaotic different to when they were feuding. They did that a lot too, to be fair.
Today it seemed as though they wanted to work as one. Riling you up every way they knew how. Lingering touches in bed, a hard squeeze on the way past you, whispered words of desire in corridors and spare rooms. Ten had rutted himself up against your thighs at some point and had unfortunately had to leave before he or yourself could finish- some urgent TARDIS thing.
Eleven had you pressed into the wall of his bedroom and had you grind yourself silly on his thigh. You’d not been able to get off, and Eleven had tutted when you’d whined that you needed more. You’d practically begged him, but he’d said no- “later, Petal.”
Things had continued on like that, teasing and close calls where whomever it was teasing you had to run for whatever reason.
Of course- they’d been planning it that way. The two of them, working together to get you as desperate as they possibly could so that when they finally had at you, you’d succumb to the pleasure with no thoughts left in your pretty little head.
“Oh, look at that,” Ten said from behind you, pinning your legs open with his own. You made some sort of sound- you weren’t even sure it sounded human. “Haven’t even been fucking into you for that long yet- already fucked dumb, love.”
Ten’s hands were wrapped around your waist, squeezing comfortingly as Eleven laid one hand on your knee and the other on your breast, flicking at the nipple while he fucked his hard cock into you over and over without mercy.
“Mm- she does, rather, doesn’t she?” Eleven commented, taking the hand on your breast to grab you by the chin and turn your face side to side. With your muscles so lax, you didn’t fight the motion, and Eleven wasn’t being rough with you anyway (yet) so it wasn’t a big deal. You whimpered, eyes screwing shut and head lolling against Ten’s shoulder. “Desperate little thing, aren’t you, love?”
You could barely form a response, tears welling as Eleven found a particularly good spot and rammed his cock into it repeatedly. Your muscles were non-existent by this point, having been eaten out twice and fingered to completion once on top of that as well. Ten had to keep your legs spread with his own, and he did so without complaint. Getting to see Eleven fuck you silly over the top of your shoulder was more than enough of an incentive for him.
On top of barely being able to form a response to anything your boys were saying, you could barely keep your eyes open. You were so cockdrunk that nothing was registering for you except the deep thrusting of Eleven’s cock into your g-spot over and over like a mantra you never wanted to end.
And because you were unable to keep your eyes open for more than two seconds at a time, you didn’t notice Ten’s fingers trailing over your hips to rub at your clit. You felt it though, and Ten had to tighten his muscles to keep you from snapping your legs shut around Eleven’s hips.
“Oh, my darling,” Ten cooed, pressing a kiss to the top of your ear. “I know, darling. I know, love. It’s so much. It’s too much. You can do it, oh yes, I know you can. You’re such a good girl for us, aren’t you?” It was all you could do to not start crying with the overstimulation.
And it wasn’t to say you didn’t feel good. You felt fucking amazing, so so good, but it was so much. So much pleasure firing through your nerve endings. You could feel how puffy and swollen your lips were stretched around Eleven and it only served to make you cry out louder.
“Hush now, dear,” Eleven said, pressing his hand over your mouth to keep you quiet. You didn’t argue, whole body limp against their whims. Whatever they wanted, you would give it to them. Anything at all.
Eleven grinned breathily, and fucked up into you harshly, not seeming to care how fucked out you were in the slightest. You wriggled against the fingers on your clit, and clung to Ten as though he were your lifeline.
“There there,” Ten said softly, fingers rubbing tight little circles. “Oh, darling, oh yes, I know. He’s so mean to you, isn’t he? Mhm. Oh yes.”
Eleven grumbled though it evened out into a moan when your cunt fluttered around him. His head dropped forward, already mussed hair falling into a curtain in front of his eyes. He gave his hips a few especially hard rolls, and your eyes fazed out onto the ceiling above you.
“Oh, look at that, Doctor,” Ten said, cooing and shushing you comfortingly. “We thought she was fucked out before. Look at her now. Maybe we should give her a break, eh?”
Eleven grunted, hips rocking softly now for a moment, giving himself time to think on it.
“Nah, don’t think so,” Eleven replied, getting back into his rhythm.
Ten’s fingers revived their assault, rubbing against you with such ferocity that you were afraid you might actually combust. Your mouth opened in a silent scream as your body forced you to climax again, the pleasure bordering on pain with how intense it was. Your clit almost felt like it was burning- and yet you didn’t want it to stop. Ten shushed you gently, rubbing his nose along the shell of your ear and pressing kisses to your sweaty hair as your body spasmed between them.
Your cunt contracting harshly around Eleven forced him to cum, ropes of his seed painting inside you. The heat of them- warmer than a humans- filled you up so nicely that you were genuinely concerned under the foggy waves of pleasure that you might start crying.
Eleven rode his high out with your body, no care given for your poor overstimulated cunt, and finally when the last rolls of pleasure were done with him, he pulled himself out. He did so slowly, and you grimaced slightly at the tug of your puffy walls around him.
Eleven cooed and pressed a kiss to your cheek to placate you.
Ten let his legs slide down the bed, and yours followed accordingly, unable to hold themselves up for even another minute more. God, you were well and truly fucked. Literally, not figuratively (at the moment, anyway). You lolled back against him, nuzzling your cheek into his neck.
You hadn’t even noticed Eleven leave, but you definitely noticed him returning, towel in hand and water dripping off his face. Ah, he’d gone to clean up.
“Now, Ten, dearest, are you planning to fuck her before we all retire for the evening?” Eleven asked without much charm. He was just like that. You didn’t take offence. In fact, his crass command of language was one of the things that made you love him more. “Only asking in relation to clean up, of course.”
You could feel Ten hard against your backside, and you gave a half-hearted attempt to grind up against him. You were quite sore, but you wouldn’t say no if he wanted to use you.
“Can fuck ‘er tits if you like,” Eleven added, noting the way your legs subconsciously closed themselves. The ache was intense, but you considered it an added bonus to the pleasure you’d just been subjected to.
“Oh, big load of charming you are,” Ten scolded. “Blimey, you’re lucky I was there to lay the foundations for you both or you’d have had no chance.”
“Now, now, boys,” you said- the first words in a fair while to come out of your mouth and it was to stop them bickering. Even your voice sounded as though it had been thoroughly ravaged.
“Can I?” The Doctor asked, turning his attention back to you. One of his hands squeezed at your tit, and you swore you could feel the lust rolling off him in waves from that one action alone. You nodded tiredly. Of course, he could.
Ten leaned you forward so he could escape from behind you. Eleven took his spot without issue, pulling you up to sit against him rather than lay against him as you did with Ten.
Eleven brushed the hair behind your ear as Ten positioned himself in front of you. You looked up at his eager face, running a hand over his chest and down over his tummy to wrap around his upper thigh.
Just as you were about to let go and hold your breasts together for him, Eleven’s big, warm hands took their place, pressing against your skin, one forefinger flicking at a nipple quickly just to tease.
“You’re so gorgeous,” Ten breathed, dribbling some lube onto your tits. “So brilliant, love. Just like that- oh, yes- f-fuck.”
“Look at him,” Eleven whispered hotly into your ear. “Not even started yet and already stuttering.”
You let out a giggle of a whimper, and Ten’s hips started to rock against you. Your tired arms wrapped around the backs of his thighs, giving his ass a little squeeze.
Ten groaned, fucking your tits desperately. He wasn’t going to last long after having been teasing you and therefore himself as well all day, and it was barely another two minutes before his cock was starting to twitch and he started to moan with that lilt that he always did when he was close to spilling.
“Please,” you whined, head dropping back against Eleven’s shoulder. “Ten, please- Doctor-”
“Well, you heard the lady,” Eleven tutted, pushing your tits together that little bit harder to create a touch more friction for him. “You’d better cum then, shouldn’t you?”
Ten groaned, throwing his head back and exposing his gorgeous neck to you both. Eleven nipped at the tip of your ear, causing you to gasp.
“Cum on me, please- I need it,” you whined, brows drawing inwards in desperation. Ten seemed to finally hear you, and he let out a desperate little ‘o-hoh, yes, fuck-’ and he was cumming, spilling over your tits, rolling his hips back and forth to make sure he got the most out of his orgasm.
You groaned pleasurably as Eleven let go of your breasts. A drip of cum dribbled off the curve of your tit and onto Eleven’s hand, who deftly and without hesitation licked it up.
You were so fucked out and so busy thinking about how covered in spend you were that you barely noticed as Ten decided to collapse softly on top of you both. He snuggled close, not caring about the fact that he was now also covered in his own cum as well, and you huffed out a grunt.
“Oh, that’s just lovely,” Eleven said sarcastically, now being crushed under two grown people. “Now I’m trapped. I suppose you’re both happy, aren’t you?”
You giggled out a nod, and you could see Ten trying to contain his laughter as well.
“Alright,” you say, yawning tiredly. Wow, that came out of nowhere. Suddenly you were oh-so-tired. “Ten minutes of cuddles and then it’s group shower time, yes?”
“Maybe fifteen,” Ten replied tiredly.
“Yes, dears,” Eleven added, and you could hear the affectionate roll of his eyes.
Was it wrong, perhaps, to wish that Eleven would stay forever? Possibly. Was it going to stop you from wishing it quietly to yourself anyway?
Absolutely not.

Hi hi!! I love your writing so much!! I saw you had a prompt list and was wondering if you could do number 11 with the Tenth Doctor 👉👈 I feel like that’s something he would say. Thanks I’m advance! 🫶
Guys I am indeed actually alive, it's just been a hot minute since I've felt any motivation to really come back and write things. But I am back, and I have no idea if I'll be consistent with this or not, it just sparked my interest again. I really appreciate all the consistent support from you guys!! <3333
Tenth Doctor x FemReader
"Yes I have feelings for you, moving on."
Tumblr media
"Y/N?! Can I come in???"
You heard a flurry of knocks at your bedroom door as an excited Doctor rushed in before waiting for an answer.
"Why yes Doctor you may enter my room," you laughed. "What if I was changing or something in here?"
"Well I uh.. It hasn't happened yet!" he fought back.
You giggled and rolled your eyes at how flustered he got, something that you noticed happening often. Although you just chalked it up to that being a part of his personality, especially when he has so many lovely women flirting with him on your trips together.
He flopped onto your bed and stared at you.
"So! What are we doing today hm? Go see the stars of Ntiri, or perhaps an alien market, or we could go back to the time of the Renaissance!" he ended with a flair.
"A ball sounds nice, like in France. Marie Antoinette times! But preferably without the Reign of Terror, running isn't exactly on my wishlist for things today," you pondered aloud.
He jumped up and twirled you around, making you go all the way up on your tippy toes.
"Well alrighty then Ms. Y/N! The Yew Ball awaits!"
You rush out to see him start slamming levers and pulling bits and bobs as your center of balance is thrown away like it wasn't even there in the first place. It always amazed you how the Doctor managed to stay up the way he did. He was by no means the most graceful man you had ever met, but the TARDIS didn't seem to throw him around the same way it did you.
As he pulled you up and brushed some stray hairs out of your eyes, a thought hit you.
"Doctor?"
"Yes love?" he replied.
"Where are we supposed to get the right attire for this? My blouse and blue jeans won't exactly fit in a 16th century setting."
"Ah, don't worry about that, I'll get it all sorted out for us," he grinned.
The two of you walked out of the TARDIS, finding yourselves in a storage closet of sorts. You walked out and around the corner, up so many stairs you thought you might pass out, and then finally a couple more turns before stopping at a large white door with gold details.
The Doctor rapped on the door gently before a small brown haired woman appeared in a plain corset and dress.
He whipped out his psychic paper and the woman's face lit up.
"Oh! Madame you must hurry the ball starts soon!!!" she chimed.
She yanked you into the room as you gave the Doctor a very confused look while he just simply grinned back at you.
You then spent the next few hours getting your makeup done and having a multitude of dresses shown for you to choose from. It took at least one of those hours to convince the women helping you to not make you wear a wig, even if it is a sign of wealth, you just can't stand the itchiness.
Eventually, you made your way to the main ball room, stopping at the top of the stairs. The Doctor stood with his hands in his pockets admiring the view around him opposite you.
As his gaze met yours his eyes lit up and a wide smile crossed his face. He was in a royal, no, TARDIS blue coat and pants, with a golden waistcoat, and creme colored tights that he looked very upset to be wearing.
The two of you met at the top of the largest staircase, where the other two converged.
"You look absolutely stunning Y/N," he whispered.
You were given a ball gown in the exact same shade of gold as the Doctor's waistcoat, with your corset and center piece of material a light shade of cornflower blue, complementing your complexion perfectly.
"You look rather dashing yourself Doctor," you cooed.
He bowed to you deeply, arose, then held out a delicate hand to lead you down the stairs.
You proceeded to wander around the room, talking to many couples, eventually getting to meet Marie Antoinette herself. She found you most exciting, and thought you were the most intelligent person in the room.
The night began to slow, and the Doctor was leading you in your final waltz for the night.
"Doctor, I wouldn't have traded this night for anything," you said softly. "Although we must go into the past more often, we don't go nearly enough."
"I agree, the nights are always wonderful with the one you love most..." he stated holding onto your hand even tighter.
"Wait.. Doctor say that again?"
You couldn't believe what he had just said, did he really just say that he loved you the most??
"Yes, I have feelings for you, moving on," he brushed off.
"Wait a minute you can't just move on from this Doctor! You really love me?"
"My dear Y/N, why in the multitude of universes, wouldn't I love you? You are the sweetest person I've ever met, you're strong, capable, and gorgeous to the moons and back."
You blushed and smiled fondly.
"Which moons Doctor?"
"Any of them love, as long as you come with me," he whispered, tipping your chin up and kissing you gently.
You felt a swirl of emotions that you never knew you could feel before, and even more as he swung you off your feet, and placing you down gently.
"Uh, Doctor.. I think we're being stared at," you pointed out.
The entire room turned to look at you both, A truly handsome couple, the queen thought.
He placed a hand around your waist and began leading you back to the TARDIS.
"Well then, they'll definitely be staring after they see us walking into broom closet together," he snickered.
Your mouth dropped but returned to a content smile, not believing the wonderful night that just occurred.

The Choices the Stars Make - 14th Doctor x reader
Summary: The Doctor promised you the stars when all you ever wanted was him. What happens when he’s finally ready to settle down? Will he reach out and try again?
Word count: 818
~~~~~~~~
You pull your blanket up higher as you turn to watch the stars shinning through the living room window. It does little to soothe the aching of your heart as your mind keeps spinning in “What ifs?”. What if you hadn’t left the doctor? What if you hadn’t asked him to stay?
You shake your head at the unfairness of the situation, turning your back on the cold stars, facing your laptop screen.
You squint at the brightness. The universe has never been fair. It wasn’t when you watched people crying out for your help die, and neither was it when you were forced to confess your true feelings to the Doctor. His discomfort and shift in body language did not surprise you, nor did his lack of touch in the weeks that followed. You just wish he hadn’t taken all of the joy of the night sky with him when you left.
Focus. You told yourself, but your heart sunk further, your fingertips getting cold on the plastic mousepad.
Observational Astronomy. A dry laugh forces its way out of your chest, making you feel hollow. You used to dance around the surfaces of planets, experience the sights never seen, the Tardis translating the x-ray and ultraviolet light spectrum for your eyes to witness true beauty of nebulas … now you’re finishing up a paper on observational astronomy and the photographs were in black and white. Life is funny like that. It feels like life lost some of the colour too. You wish it wasn’t 2am, life is easier to handle when you don’t have to stay up at night to work on something. Especially something that reminds you of him. Days are easier, warmth is easier. Warmth reminds you of joy of adventure, his hands, the kindness. Not his eyes when he left you.
~~~~~~~~
The Doctor did not seek you out. He did not wander the streets close to your house for too long. He did, however, made sure that no threats lingered close to your apartment at all times.
At least until his old face returned.
Oh so many regrets felt thrown back at his face. What he wasn’t able to give. The loved ones he lost… He grieved Rose for a long, long time, even after you met him. That same grief drove Martha away. Donna… River Song… He should have been able to save them all. How could he protect you if he couldn’t even keep his life as John Smith? And you knew. You saw him fall in love, you saw him live a normal life. He knows he hurt you beyond forgiveness when he grieved his human life and yet, despite all of that grief, did not choose to build one with you.
Seeing Donna again had him longing for the old days. The days of the three of you jumping through the universe, watching the joy on your faces! That was until the Earth got taken over by the Master he forced your feelings out in the open. Doctor could not deal with reliving his past through you. He couldn’t stomach losing you. He couldn’t make Donna go through the same darkness that Martha did when he was still grieving. Not to even mention Time Lord Victorious. His biggest regret. At least you were saved from watching it happen.
But now… now that he did not need to save the universe… now that he had someone else to entrust it to and now that the biggest decision of his day was how to protect the moles from Wilf… maybe he could give you the life you wanted after all.
~~~~~~
Your phone buzzed one day after the lectures and you instinctively answered it, expecting it to be one of your parents checking in. It was a rash decision you made to switch universities, but with all the stress of studying medicine and the flashbacks of lives you couldn’t save, switching to something familiar was an easier choice.
“Hello, yes, I’m still studying astronomy. No, I will not end up starving in the streets when I’m done.”
“…So you decided to study the stars?”
That… was not a voice you expected. Not that you would ever in a million years expect the Doctor to call you. He was someone who buried down feelings. He did not call ex-companions, only companions in trouble called him.
“… Doctor?” You chocked up. Funny. You planned to say so many things during all those sleepless nights and now all you could manage is “Is something wrong?”
On the other end of the line, the Doctor smiled a lopsided smile. It didn’t reach his eyes, but the words warmed his hearts. He still had time to turn back. He could run away and never look back.
But that soft kindness in your voice, even after all these years…
“Would you have some time to meet an old friend?”
December 6. Christmas Cuddles (10th doctor x gn! reader)
25 Days of Ficmas - Day 6
Christmas Cuddles (10th doctor x gn! reader)
Word count -  1537
Warnings - None just tons of fluff
Pairing(s) - 10th doctor x Gn! Reader
Summary - Movie night leads to the cutest moment
Tumblr media
Traveling with the doctor made everything a little bit more complicated. There were times that you thought you had died and gone to heaven because surely this wasn’t your life! Surely you weren’t fighting aliens and monsters and everything in between. But, somehow it was your reality and you loved every last second of it.
You loved being able to save all of those innocent beings, you loved the thrill of running for your life hand in hand with a handsome timelord, you loved the excitement of waking up wondering what new planet you were going to wind up on, and you especially loved your doe-eyed, sticky uppy haired timelord.
That's right you had fallen head over heels with the Doctor. There was something so utterly fantastic about him, that you couldn’t help yourself. He was like the painting museums kept hidden in the very back, not admired by everyone but the ones who saw the beauty in it enough to stay were truly lucky. The TARDIS never took him to where he wanted to go, but only where he needed to go. And, she took him to you- you of all the creatures and being in the universe.  You felt lucky enough that he picked you as his companion, although he would always say that you picked him.
This was the biggest mystery in the whole entire universe to you. But, you decided to thank your lucky stars she had deemed you worthy of him.
Your relationship with the Doctor was interesting to say the very least. There would be fleeting glances, small touches, and most importantly…movie nights.  Because, if the Doctor was one thing- he was a sap when it came to seeing you happy.
Nothing seemed to make you happier than having a weekly movie night. A simple time where you two were able to stay in and enjoy each other's company and simply be in the stillness. At first, the Doctor absolutely hated it. He was a time lord for heaven’s sake! He was meant to be running about and fixing things, but you quickly changed his mind. Especially once the Christmas season rolled around.
There you were in your very fuzzy large hoodie in your absolutely favorite color, or your  “movie night hoodie” as you deemed it. You had made yourself a makeshift fort amongst all the blankets the Doctor seemed to have in his movie room. Even though you’ve spent what felt like years with the Doctor and his little blue box, you still find yourself constantly surprised by new things. The excitement seemed to practically burst out of you as you wiggled in your spot on the very large couch.
The best part about tonight was that it was your turn to pick the movie. Last week the doctor picked ‘A Muppets Christmas Carol’, which he claimed was an utter classic (and he was absolutely right). It was honestly adorable to see him get so passionate about something for you, something so very human. It warmed your heart to see someone who had the universe at his very fingertips willing to pay attention to you and what you liked.
Tonight you decided to pick one of your all-time favorite Christmas movies ‘Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer’. This was the movie you were brought up on as a child, and even though your childhood had some rocky patches in it this movie always brought up wonderfully warm nostalgia.
Slowly your head moved back and forth as the title credits began to play. You could practically feel the Christmas spirit swell up in your belly like some kind of Christmas magic. Funny how pure moments from our childhood can make us believe in magic all over again.
“Please tell me you didn’t start it without me!” The Doctor peaked his head into the room as he carried a tower of snacks with everything from popcorn, candy, and even some perfectly balanced mugs of hot cocoa in his arms.
Your eyes flicked over to him as they widened with anxiety. “Doctor I swear if you drop any of that-” you sighed as he raised an eyebrow at you before setting everything down on the coffee table. Smugly he gave you a ‘you were saying’ look as you picked up the blankets and he snuggled up right next to you.
Sometimes you forgot just how affectionate this regeneration of his was, and honestly, you didn’t mind. His ninth regeneration was kind, but never like this. He never curled up to you like a cat desperately seeking warmth. But, ten on the other hand…well he was a completely different story.
“No of course I didn’t start it without you, the opening credits are just a mile long, so I thought we’d get those out of the way,” you said as you kept nodding your head along to the music
“Ah, how smart of you, no wonder I chose you as my companion.” he hummed wrapping one arm around yours and resting his head on your shoulder. When he was this close it made you want to confess every last thing you felt for him. But, something always held you back and you always let it.
Trying your very best to ignore how fast your heart was pounding you turned your attention to the movie and forced yourself to get lost in it. Everything was going perfectly until-
“What do you mean they won’t let him be a dentist!” The Doctor exclaimed sitting up straight with concern in his eyes. He looked like a golden retriever who just lost his favorite ball, and it made your heart utterly melt.
“Well they want him to be an elf just like everyone else is, he has to make toys for Santa, or else no one thinks he’s any use.” you tried your best to explain but it seemed fruitless.
“NO USE?!?! Y/N dear there’s plenty of use for a dentist at the North Pole! Do you know how much sugar those elves digest on a daily basis?” he said taking a couple of sips of his hot cocoa.
“Oh just watch the movie spaceman.”  you playfully rolled your eyes as you patted the spot next to you again, and happily, he settled back down. This time resting his head in your lap. Oh the things this alien does to you
A little while later you were on the part where Rudolph decides to sacrifice himself if needs be and rescue his hometown. Glancing down at the Doctor a small smile formed on your lips as you saw how intently he was watching the movie. Absentmindedly, you started to play with his hair. Then all of a sudden you heard a soft “Y/N?” and you froze.
Gently, he reached up and grabbed your hand encouraging you to keep going “No no please don’t stop, I um erm um I like it.” he choked out awkwardly but it warmed your soul nonetheless. So, you kept going and could practically feel him relax into you.
It was peaceful moments like this with the Doctor that you’d always valued. There was nothing quite like being able to sit on the couch and make the man who always runs relax for a couple of moments. Not every person can claim they’ve managed to tame the Doctor, but you proudly have. Even if it was just a little bit. To you, it meant the entire world- no the entire universe.
There you two laid, a tangled mess of Christmas warmth and love, even if it was just platonic love you were okay with that. For to be loved by the Doctor in any fashion was the greatest kind of them all. As the end of the movie played neither of you dared to move from your spots. Too scared you’d break the magic that seemed to be surrounding you.
“Doctor-”
“Y/N”
You two blushed a light pink as you laughed at the awkward moment. Slowly, he picked up his head from your lap moving closer to you. His eyes held a mixture of fear, love, worry, and adoration. Somehow you could tell that it was all for you. After a long silence, he finally blurted out something he’d been dying to ask since you bumped into the TARDIS.
“Can I kiss you?”
Without even thinking you quickly nodded moving impossibly closer to him. Your heart was racing faster and faster, and to be honest you were a little concerned that you’d have a heart attack. Then, as if out of a dream, it finally happened.
His lips collided with yours in a beautiful sympathy, and you knew for sure then that you truly loved him. His kiss was everything you ever dreamed about and even more. Your arms wrapped around his neck as his hand got tangled up in your hair as he smiled in the kiss.
As you two pulled back for some air you both wore the same dopey love-sick grin. Merry Christmas Doctor,” you whispered gently.
“Oh merry Christmas my shooting star,” he replied stealing another kiss from you…and another….and another….and- oh you get the point.
"Pacify Him" - Tenth Doctor x Reader
Tumblr media
🫀REQUESTS ARE OPEN🫀
SUMMARY: It's your boyfriend's birthday! The Doctor insists on tagging along as a friend, of course. Maybe you did tell him to be 'decent' but how could he know that 'not getting into a stand-offish argument with your boyfriend' fell under that category? Despite all reason and evidence, he still claims to not be jealous.
WORDCOUNT: ~ 1.8k
A/N: I'm in my Melanie Martinez era and I will not apologize
Tumblr media
"Where are you going, mister?" you asked the Doctor when you noticed him following you out of the TARDIS. He was supposed to drop you off for your boyfriend's birthday party and pick you up a few hours later. In your mind, it would do you both some good to have a rest from each other's constant presence. The Doctor as it turned out had a different opinion.
He furrowed his eyebrows. "Come on, I love a party!" The tone of his voice sounded nearly as if he was offended.
"Yeah but not domestic ones."
It wasn't something he could argue with - whenever anything akin to a family dinner turned up, he always found a perfect excuse or ruse to get out of it. The only parties he attended were the ones with no strings attached. For a lack of better expression, he was a 'hit and run' kind of man.
"Well, you're not married, you don't even live together, so it's not really domestic, is it?" The Doctor said those words with seemingly no seriousness and so you were sure he remained oblivious to your own desires and worries: you were thinking about taking your relationship with Mark further but doing so while travelling through all of time and space did not seem like a good idea. It would definitely... complicate things.
But perhaps Doctor's sudden interest in familial intimacy was something positive - perhaps he was beginning to recover from his 'brooding loner' persona. In that case, you simply couldn't deny him that moment of bravery.
"Alright," you said with a sigh, "I'm bringing you with me, but!" You pointed your finger at him. "Be decent, I'm begging you."
"I am wearing pants, see?" The Doctor pointed at his usual dress pants. He even gave you a twirl as if there was anything worth showing off - he wore that very same outfit every day, after all. Despite the suit being clearly worn out he was still going to be the most elegant-looking person in there.
"No facetious comments and alien technology, alright?"
"I'll do my best."
He shut the door behind him but you couldn't actually hear it over the noise of the party going on in your boyfriend's house; the loud music was audible from the street. Looking up through the windows, you could see some familiar and unfamiliar faces laughing and drinking from plastic cups. Compared to what you've been through the past few months, that sight was so mundane you couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculousness. One day you save the universe and the other you drink cheap tequila with blackcurrant juice.
You gave the Doctor a quick glance only to notice a slight grimace on his face. He didn't even make it to the party and he was already hating it. But if he truly had no desire to mingle with your friends, why was he forcing himself to?
"Second thoughts?" you asked him in a joking manner.
"Nah, I've been through worse."
"Serious question," you said to grab his attention. Doctor's eyes opened wider as his eyebrows raised - all of the universe around the two of you and he cared only about your words. "Which one is worse: arm wrestling a Cyberman or going to a house party?"
He looked away for a moment before answering. "I- well... Do I get time to prepare?"
"Sure." Your shoulders shrug slightly.
"Maybe I could even win..." he quietly considered for a moment. "What's the prize?"
"You can't be seriously considering arm wrestling a Cyberman."
"Hey, it was your idea! Now come on, we don't want to be late."
You shook your head at him despite the wide smile on your face. The Doctor was magnificent at putting on a light-hearted facade that you liked to pretend was genuine; it was a lovely sentiment to hold even for a minute that he wasn't a man haunted.
The doorbell rang only once when you heard someone unlocking the door - you were expected if not awaited. There, behind the door, stood the one person you have missed the most. His face lit up when he realized he was actually seeing you. Shortly after, Mark was already hugging you tightly.
"Oh, baby," he murmured against your hair. For him, it's been three months since he last saw you, so such a reaction shouldn't come off too bizarre.
"Hey, babe," you greeted him. His reaction was slightly amusing to you, mainly because you've never seen him being so clingy. It felt nice to be missed, to be cared about so much.
Mark leaned away to look at you again as if he still was unsure that you really were in front of him. His smile was so wide it nearly looked painful - as if happiness could have a face.
"I was beginning to think you wouldn't make it."
"Are you kidding me? I'd go back in time if I had to!"
Your little joke earned a quiet chuckle from the Doctor, who was patiently third-wheeling. It wasn't visible on his face but he was feeling uncomfortable at the show of affection - part of him wanted your fondness to be an exclusive good, something he wouldn't have to share with anyone.
"Doctor, this is Mark, my boyfriend. Mark, this is the Doctor, my... research partner."
"The Doctor?" Mark repeated in confusion.
"Yeah, we all just call him that. The entire team." No matter how vile it might sound, you were really good at lying to your partner. For better of worse, you never though it would be a useful skill to have.
In the distance, you noticed a familiar constellation of blonde locks, denim jackets and black high heels - your high school friends. It wouldn't be a stretch to say you haven't seen them in literal years. You could feel your heart start to beat a little faster as pure excitement made the tips of your fingers tingle.
"I'll leave you to it, boys. I'm going to catch up with girls," you said while pointing at a group of women around your age standing in the faraway corner of the room.
The Doctor watched you run away to the group. Judging by their exclamations and tight hugs, the excitement and longing were mutual. Only after witnessing that scene, yearning to one day touch your heart in the same way, did he turn back to your boyfriend to attempt a polite conversation. Maybe he could try and learn what exactly you were seeing in him. "So, Mark, how did you two meet?"
"She didn't tell you?"
"No, must've slipped her mind. In fact, she doesn't talk much about you at all." Although it was true, there was no need to rub it in. Unless someone was looking for malicious satisfaction.
"Oh, really? Anyway, we met in high school through a mutual friend but didn't date until university. She was on the experimental research team, I was sure I was too stupid for her to date me."
"Yeah, I can imagine," the Doctor nodded along.
"Hey, man, can I tell you a secret?"
"I love secrets."
"You can't tell her, alright?"
"Scout's honour." He wasn't fond of the direction the conversation was heading into. There were only two things men wanted to keep away from their significant others and Mark did not strike him as someone capable of adultery.
"I want to propose."
"Oh." For a moment, the entire universe stopped. Only static was resounding in the Doctor's head but heart-wrenching panic set in rather quickly afterwards. He knew that if Mark was to ask you to marry him, you'd say yes. And he wasn't sure what he was going to do if that was to happen...
"You spend a lot of time working with her, right? I thought you could help me out a little."
"Oh, yes, we spend a lot of time together. It's practically only the two of us, all the time."
"Thank God, because I feel like I'm starting to overthink things, you know?" Mark appeared completely oblivious to the sublime message in Doctor's words. The thought of having 'competition' never crossed his mind, it seemed. "I thought of buying a minimalistic ring. Thin band, a small diamond, you know the lot."
"She'd hate it," Doctor answered with a shake of his head. A grimace appeared on his face as he imagined the scene. "Yeah, no, too common. It should be something rare and interesting. She absolutely hates ordinary things. Shouldn't you know that? You're her boyfriend. Never mind that, don't you think she deserves something more thoughtful?"
"That's why I'm asking for a second opinion! I don't see her often these days..."
"See, Mark, here's what I don't get. You don't see her often, you talk about proposing to her and when she shows up, you don't even talk to her? You want her to be your wife and you've talked to me, a total stranger, more than you've talked to her. I'm about to think you want to marry me."
"You're a funny guy, you know? Come on, she just went to talk to her friends." Mark either did not pick up on Doctor's passive-aggression or he purposefully ignored it. "And here she is coming back."
For some reason, those two were exactly where you left them - at the door. Although they were talking, you could tell there was some tension between them: Mark folded his arms and Doctor stood with his hands in his pockets. If the two most important men in your life, at the moment, were going to get into a fight, your reality was going to become a lot more complex than it already was.
"Are you two going to stand here all night? Let's get a drink!" You pulled both of them in the direction of a table with alcohol, soda and juice. The Doctor knew he was in for a long and frustrating night but at least he got to spend it with you.
Although at first you were preoccupied with retelling Doctor all the hilarious or outrageous stories your friend had told you, you quickly noticed something was off about him.
"From my perspective, it looked like you were acting jealous."
"What? No, I didn't."
"Look, I get it. I really do. We spend so much time together, just you and I, then suddenly my attention was someplace else. It's okay to feel upset."
"Why would I be jealous? I already know I'm your favourite."
The two of you laughed and the situation was momentarily defused or so you thought - the Doctor kept on thinking about your words and his own feelings. He knew perfectly well (he witnessed it) that you had so many lovely people around you. Even without him, your life was whole. Tragically enough, without you, his life was about as empty as the Void and he refused to openly admit that to himself. It wasn't doing much good though: his lungs were filled with smoke, yet he pretended there was no fire.
He didn't yet know how but he knew he had to make a move soon if he wanted to be a little more than an adventure.
For anyone looking for/interested in multi-chapter Ten x OC fanfics, I'm doing a bit of shameless self promotion 😆 I recently started posting this story on AO3. It's my first Doctor Who story (I'm fairly new to the fandom), so I'd love to hear feedback from others!
Title: Confessions of a Companion
Pairing(s): Tenth Doctor x Female OC, Martha Jones x Mickey Smith (background)
Genre: Angst, Adventure, H/C, Romance
Summary: The continued adventures of the Tenth Doctor, as chronicled by his newest companion. He was a complicated man, but Gemma was on her way to understanding him. /Or/ The Doctor is faced with some very necessary but very difficult truths. In the end, he realizes that being alone isn't the solution. She comes along at just the right time.
Of course, there is a full, comprehensive list of tags on the AO3 post - along with an AN with the first chapter that explains everything you need to know. I've posted three chapters so far, and I update as the chapters are written. I'll probably start posting chapter updates on here, as well. If you're at all interested, check it out! 👋🏽✌🏽
The Doctor's Coat
Tenth Doctor x GN!reader
Summary: In which you're not that cold, you just like wearing the Doctor's coat (ft. a bit of Martha) (Based on a request from @internet-stranger-says-hi)
Tumblr media
As always, it was supposed to be a relaxing trip. A normal weekend getaway in a fancy hotel. The Doctor felt a bit bad about all the running you had been doing, so he wanted to treat you and Martha.
But, trouble followed the Doctor, that much you knew. So, frankly, you weren’t that surprised when you ended up running around the massive building fighting off homicidal aliens. At this point, it was just another day for you. As annoying as it could be at times, you wouldn’t have it any other way.
The Doctor gripped your hand tightly in his as you ran, his fingers firmly intertwined with yours. He was very prone to grabbing your hand at the slightest suggestion of danger, but you seemed oblivious to this. Surely he must do that with everyone, right?
“I’ll hold them off!” Martha called from behind you, going down a separate hall from you and the Doctor. You knew she could more than handle herself, but you still worried. You didn’t like it much when the three of you separated. The Doctor, on the other hand, was more worried about getting you to safety. You were always his first priority.
He turned a corner sharply, almost ramming into the wall. His dirty old Converse thudded against the garishly patterned carpet as he rushed for the hotel’s kitchen. You struggled to keep up with him, desperately trying not to trip over yourself.
The Doctor led you through the winding halls at a surprising speed, the walls rushing by in a blur. You weren’t sure where you were, or where you were going. The only thing you did know was the Doctor would get you to safety. He always did.
He dashed through the closest door, casting worried glances over his shoulder. In his rush, he didn’t pay much attention to where you were going. He guided the two of you into a room without really looking inside and shut the door behind him. You were too busy catching your breath to pay much attention either.
“We should be safe in here,” he said reassuringly, peering out of the small window on the door. He still seemed entirely oblivious to your surroundings.
Your breathing started to steady and you looked around the room. A frost covered the walls and the metal racks, small crystalline structures stuck to anything they could latch onto.
“You put us in a freezer,” you pointed out, starting to feel the chill on your skin. It wasn’t unbearable, just noticeable.
The Doctor looked around, just now realizing where the two of you had ended up.
“Well…” he winced, peeking back out again. The kitchen appeared to be empty.
“We should probably be safe to make a run for it,” he suggested, pacing back and forth. “We could reconvene with Martha and get out of here?”
“Let’s,” you shivered, the cold starting to penetrate your sweater. The sooner you could get out of here the better.
The Doctor moved to open the door, but it wouldn’t budge. He yanked it repeatedly and even tried kicking it. He pulled the Sonic Screwdriver out, buzzing around the door. Slowly, he turned back to look at you with a nervous smile.
You’d seen that look many times before. You’d seen it when he left you stranded on Mars on accident, when he crashed the TARDIS into the side of your Grandparent’s house, and when he neglected to tell you he replaced the ship’s toilet with a DIY chemistry lab.
“You locked us in here,” you gasped, throwing your hands up in frustration.
“I’m sorry,” he winced. You could see on his face how much it upset him. As frustrating as the situation was, you couldn’t bring yourself to get mad at him. You never did, no matter how bad he messed things up.
“It’s ok,” you whispered, shuffling your feet. You could handle a bit of cold, it’s not like the Doctor did it on purpose anyway.
“Here,” the Doctor said, slipping his coat off, “take this, it should help keep you warm.”
“What about you?”
“I don’t get cold,” the Doctor shrugged, pushing the coat into your arms. You stared at it for a moment, surprised to even be holding it. The Doctor’s coat was one of his most prized possessions, even if something just like it could be found in just about every charity shop across London.
Slowly, you slid your arms through the coat, shrugging it on. The fabric was a well-loved cotton, softened from years of wear and wash. Strangely, it was very warm.
“Better?” The Doctor asked, worried. You wrapped the coat tightly around yourself and smiled, nodding your agreement.
This was much better, and not because you were a little cold. The coat smelled like the Doctor - exactly like the Doctor. It felt like being hugged by him, and you relished the feeling. You burrowed further into the jacket, closing your eyes blissfully. You could stay like this forever.
“Hey,” The Doctor put his hands on your shoulders, “don’t fall asleep on me,” he urged, figuring that you were much colder than you were.
“Martha should be around soon and she’ll get us out, I promise,” he reassured, rubbing his hands up and down on your arms to create friction. You peered out from under his coat to look him in the eye. His face was riddled with anxiety, his big brown puppy dog eyes staring at you with worry.
You blushed a deep red, finding his concern adorable. You really were fine, especially now that you had a coat to keep you toasty. Even if you were cold, you wouldn’t really mind it considering the circumstances. You were wrapped up in the Doctor’s coat as he rubbed your arms lovingly - it was like a dream.
The Doctor misread your blush and assumed that the cold was flushing your face. He moved his hands up to your face, cradling it. He knew his hands weren’t exactly warm, but maybe the contact could keep the cold out. His thumbs rubbed soft, concentric circles into your skin. He traced the words of a language only he knew into your skin, trying anything to comfort you.
“I’ll get you out, it will be ok,” he reassured again. He moved his hands to wrap the coat tighter around your body, pulling the collar up to shield the lower part of your face. “Hang in there for me,” he urged, eyes still pained with anxiety.
You let out a soft shiver, the constant contact making you incredibly flustered. Again, the Doctor misread your responses to his affections. His mind was running a thousand miles an hour, trying to figure out a way to warm you up. If he lost you to frostbite due to his own obliviousness he would never forgive himself.
“Shh,” he hushed, even though you hadn’t said anything. He rubbed his hands up and down your arms again, desperately trying to warm you up.
“I’m so sorry that I got you into this situation,” he sighed, still rubbing you gently.
You shook your head quickly, “s’alright.” You would never admit it to him, but you were really enjoying this. Maybe being trapped in a freezer wasn’t the worst thing in the world.
“No,” The Doctor shook his head, “it’s really no-”
Suddenly, the door to the freezer opened and Martha popped her head in. “What on Earth are you two doing in here?” She asked, her eyebrows knit together in confusion. The Doctor was known to do weird things, but this had to be high up on the list of strange hiding places.
“Martha!” The Doctor cried, overjoyed to see her. “Hurry, we need to get them out of here,” he urged, already guiding you out of the freezer. He practically pushed you out, his hands never leaving your body.
“Please check on them, they’re freezing,” he urged, guiding you to a seat. You were perfectly capable of directing yourself, but the Doctor seemed adamant on it. He was babbling incoherently, waving his hands about in distress.
“How long were you in there?” Martha asked, she had split from you less than an hour ago. Surely you couldn’t have caught frostbite in that little time. She leaned down in front of you, her fingers resting against your neck to check your pulse.
“10, maybe 15 minutes?” The Doctor started wringing his hands anxiously.
After taking your pulse she placed both hands on your face, gauging the temperature of your skin. You were chilly, but nowhere near cold enough to warrant the Doctor’s distress.
“They’re fine,” Martha shrugged.
“Are you sure? Check again,” the Doctor begged, his eyes still seeping with anxiety.
Martha sighed exasperatedly, “I’m sure.”
Behind her, you turned a deep scarlet. It was embarrassing to watch the whole interaction, but you were too flustered to admit that you really just liked wearing the Doctor’s coat. It was easier to let them argue than admit you had a crush.
“Look!” The Doctor cried, pointing at you, “They’re all flushed! Something has to be wrong.” He fiddled anxiously, bouncing slightly on his feet. Looking at him you’d think you had grown a second head or something terrifying.
Martha looked over at you, her eyebrows furrowed. You avoided her gaze, picking at your hands absentmindedly in your lap. She quickly picked up on what was happening and rolled her eyes.
“Seriously?” She whispered to you sharply. You pursed your lips, shrugging slightly in response.
“What’s going on? Is everything ok?” The Doctor asked, growing more worried by the minute.
“Please tell him, this is getting ridiculous,” Martha groaned, her eyes pleading with you. There was only so much of this she could put up with.
“Tell me what?” The Doctor was hovering now, fiddling anxiously, “is everything alright, what’s wrong?” he asked you this time, moving closer to you.
“I’m gonna give you a minute,” Martha said, her eyes darting between the two of you. You tried to open your mouth to protest but she was already slipping out the door, leaving you alone with the Doctor.
He crouched before you, his hands resting on your knees, “what’s wrong?” He asked, looking up at you. You could tell he was holding his anxiety back, trying not to let his own worries affect you.
“I’m fine,” you blushed, looking down at the floor. You really didn’t want to admit your feelings for the Doctor, especially like this. You supposed you didn’t have much else of a choice, Martha had made sure of that.
“I-I just,” you whispered, not really wanting the Doctor to hear you, “liked wearing your coat.”
“You what?” the Doctor gasped, surprised. He wasn’t entirely sure he had heard you right.
“It smells like you,” you mumbled the justification more to yourself than him.
“You’re not sick?” He asked, clearly more worried about your health than your confession.
“I’m perfectly fine,” you let out a small chuckle, “nothing to worry about here.”
“You’re not cold?”
You shook your head, you were far from cold now. In fact, the anxiety was making you sweat.
“You just liked wearing my coat?” He clarified eyebrows furrowed as his brain struggled to keep up. Could this mean you liked him? He tried not to get his hopes too high.
Embarrassed, you nodded your head meekly. God, this was awful. You wanted nothing more than the floor to open up and swallow you whole.
“Is that so?” He laughed, a cocky smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
“Oh shush,” you scolded, hitting his arm lightly. Of course, he found this amusing.
He smiled softly at you, his eyes softening as he realized you were going to be ok. Better than ok. He brought his hand up to your face, cradling your cheek in his soft hand.
“Are you trying to say you have a crush on me?” He smiled inquisitively.
Your eyes widened, your face turning the deepest red it had been since getting into the freezer. Perhaps he wasn’t as oblivious as you thought.
“Maybe,” you whispered, it’s not like you could really hide it anymore. The Doctor’s face immediately lit up, a large grin taking over his entire face.
“Don’t look at me like that,” you frowned, confused by his sudden excitement. He should be upset, kicking you out of the TARDIS, or making excuses for reasons he couldn’t love you back. Instead, he was still sitting there looking at you with that stupid grin. It was impossible to fight back the small smile tugging at your lips when he was looking at you like that.
“What if I told you I had a crush on you too?” He whispered mischievously, his eyes twinkling with excitement.
You stiffened, shocked by his admission. “If you’re having a joke I’m gonna throw you into an exploding star.”
The Doctor chuckled, the sound dancing around the room. “No, I’m not.”
“You really fancy me?”
“How could I not?” He hummed, stroking your cheek gently. You were stunning. You were always stunning to him, no matter the conditions.
The Doctor leaned closer to you, hoving slightly over your lips. His warm breath fanned your face, sending shivers down your spine. He stayed there for a moment, giving you plenty of time to pull back. When you didn’t, he brought his lips gently into yours.
He kissed you like you were his entire world, his hand still holding your face. He was soft and gentle, but incredibly loving. You melted against him, your arms wrapping around his shoulders to pull him closer to you.
Martha silently poked her head in the door to check on you, just in case. She sighed when she saw the two of you in a tight embrace, closing the door to go handle the alien invasion on her own.
I know
14th doctor x reader
Request/Summary: With the Not-Things, there's a lot of potential for angst and hurt/comfort, etc. Totally fine if you don't want to write this, but I keep imagining a reader companion who has been secretly pining for the doctor and the Not-Thing reveals their love for the Doctor while trying to prove itself and yeah
Wild Blue Yonder Spoilers.
Tumblr media
"You don't fool me," The Doctor says bluntly, looking at Y/n with his arms crossed and a grimace on his face. "You're not them, and I'd strongly suggest you stop pretending to be so before this ends badly." He threatens, voice dropped low into an hair-raising whisper.
"But I am! I'm me." They try quickly, tenuous pout on their lips and eyes full of tears. They place a hand to their heart, expression morphed into one of desperation. "Please, I swear! You have to believe me. After everything we've been through, you've got to know that it's me."
Scoffing and standing tall, eyes darkening dangerously, The Doctor shakes his head immediately. "Don't." He spits, taking a step forwards, so brutally it causes Y/n to step back in fear. "Don't you dare."
With eyes ingenuous and lips parted to allow shallow breaths to escape, Y/n responded quietly. "If I'm not me, then how would I know everything I do? How would I remember standing on the edge of civilisations, watching planets burn and being able to do nothing to help. Evil monsters - the ones that gave me this scar, remember?" They struggled, running a trembling finger down the little scar on their neck.
His face remains unimpressed. Blank. Angry.
"And how would I know how in love with you I am?" They whisper, swallowing thickly. "That thing may be able to fake being me, but they would never be able to fake a feeling as strong as that. Never."
It's silent for a moment, but then The Doctor's already dark manner growed into an appearance edging on detrimental. Without fear, he marched towards them, grabbing them harshly and restricting their movement.
A shriek left their lips, panting as they fought to escape his tightening arms. But then, their body fell limp, and they turned their head to look up at the doctor, smirk rising on the corner of their lips. "Got me." They taunt viciously then hissed as they kicked a way out of his grip.
/
Travelling with the Doctor, Y/n had grown accustomed to fear. The way blood would pump faster, the heart would bang harshly against the chest. It felt like it was going to burst out.
A few feet in front, the Doctor and Donna found sanctuary in the tardis. Unfortunately, Y/n was a tad slower. The two of them, Y/n and not!Y/n, exchanged a look before rushing into a full blown sprint.
"it's me!" Not!Y/n yelled as they ran. Arm reaching out, harsh breaths leaving their lips. "I'm me!"
"No, they're not! I'm me!" They corrected before suddenly halting in their sprint, hitting the other's back as they face the Doctor in the tardis.
But the Doctor's eyes never once glanced at the clone. Always, they remained on Y/n.
"I-I don't know how to prove it.." Y/n trailed off quietly before groaning, running a hand down their face. "Oh, gosh! Why can't I think of how to prove I'm me?"
"You don't have to." He answered simply, grabbing their hand and tugging them into the tardis, the doors immediately snapping shut with a bang.
"No!" Not!Y/n screeched as the door closed. They hissed and growled viciously, snarling at the fading spaceship. In a futile attempt to get the ship to stay in place, their nails clawed pathetically at the wooden box, blue chipping off and dirtying under their fingernails. "No!"
/
"That was scary." Y/n began, walking into the console room, freshly showered and in pyjamas, hair damp and eyes tired from the day's events. This captured the Doctor's attention and he immediately looks up from fiddling with buttons and such, a tiny smile instantly forming on his red tinted lips. His cheeks turn a sweet shade of pink at the sight of Y/n in one of his old tops. "I mean, I was starting to doubt that I was even the real me. How can you be so sure that you know I am?"
"I know," He assures quickly, not missing a beat. "and I will always know."
Blinking swiftly and nibbling their lip, Y/n looks down to avoid his eyes as their own cheeks colour, heart beating promptly. "Oh."
"You know," He begins, deserting the button he had been messing around with. "the other you said something interesting."
"Oh? Really? And what was that?" Y/n mumbles softly, rubbing their sleepy eyes and letting out a yawn. Upon seeing this, the Doctor's eyes soften and he grins, walking over to them and cupping their cheeks in his hands.
"Doesn't matter." He responds in a gentle voice, leaning down to press his lips delicately to their forehead. "Go get some sleep, angel. We can talk tomorrow."
As always, not proofread cos I'm lazy 🙈
