Wrong Tardis (Ninth Doctor x M!Reader/ Tenth Doctor x M!Reader)
I'm not a huge fan of Nine but I'm slowly going back and watching his episodes and he's kinda growing on me.
Not sure if he's ooc here (though I'm like 90% sure Rose is) but whatever. I'm super excited for tomorrow's special and really wanted to write more for this series.
If you have any requests for this series send me an ask! (just keep in mind I have my own plans for big episodes like Silence in the Library or End Of Time.
Wordcount: Just over 1k

The Tardis was old, like really old, like when the Doctor stole it it was already in a museum old. So occasionally it glitched, nothing too big. That is until it glitched and teleported you you to Cardiff 2005.
That was a whole earth year before you even met the Doctor. On the plus side the glimpse of his face you saw before you were teleported told you he would find you and come to pick you up, it was only a matter of time so you walked around.
You had yet to be in Cardiff in 2005, you'd been in to Cardiff circa 1910 but not 2005 so you look around, you saw the sights, you people watched for a bit and then you saw a familiar blue box.
"About time" You told yourself as you walked in.
"Did you fix the timezone processor?" You asked, happy to be back. By your calculation is had been about 3 hours.
"Who're you?" Asked a blonde woman who'd put herself between you and the Tardis console. You blinked.
You may have jumped to conclusions.
Looking around the inhabitants of this Tardis were very much not the inhabitants of yours. You only recognized one face. Captain Jack Harkness (Though he wasn't traveling with you when you'd been teleported away).
"You're Rose Tyler" You said to the woman who stood in front of you and she nodded.
"Yeah, and who are you?" She asked again. By now Jack and the Doctor, or the man you assumed was the Doctor were looking at you wearily.
You looked to the Doctor, his hair was darker and buzzed close to his head, his forehead creased in ways your Doctor's didn't and his ears were definitely larger than you remembered them being. Looking into his eyes calmed you though, because those were definitely the eyes of the man you loved. Though perhaps a few years younger.
This was the Doctor before you'd met him. before he knew you existed, maybe even before he destroyed Gallifrey.
"Well? Aren't you gonna answer her?" Asked Jack all three were looking at you expectantly.
"I'm an anthropologist" You finally said.
"An anthropologist?" Rose asked and you nodded.
Both Jack and Rose looked at you intently, not really buying it.
"Is that your name?" Rose asked wearily.
"No" You answered honestly, "But I can't tell you my name. I'm sorry." You told her and once again looked at the Doctor. He hadn't said anything yet.
"What do you mean you can't tell us your name? Why?" Rose asked.
"Because he's from the future Rose" The Doctor finally said, climbing down from the ladder he was perched on when you burst in.
"Aren't you?" He asked and you nodded.
"You're from my future" He said and you smiled almost sadly.
"Inquisitive as ever Doctor" You told him.
"I should go" You said, slowly turning around.
"Wait, if you're really from the future how come you were so shocked to see us? Don't you know us? Like, the future us?" Rose asked.
"He can't tell you anything Rose, it could put the whole timeline at risk" The Doctor said.
"He's right, I really shouldn't even be here. I thought this was my Doctor's Tardis coming to finally pick me up."
"Finally? How long have you been here?" Jack asked.
"About three hours" You told him.
"Does that mean there's another version of the Doctor wanderin' around Cardiff right now?" Rose asked and you chuckled a bit.
"No, we had a bit of glitch—" "With the timezone processor?" The Doctor asked.
"I can't tell you that" You said but he smiled at you with the cheeky little smile that only this face must have because you'd never seen it before and you sighed, "Yes with the timezone processor".
"What's a timezone processor?" Rose asked.
"It's what keeps all occupants of the Tardis in the same time bubble in flight" Both you and the Doctor said together, the two of you looked at each other.
"It's going to be your fault you know. You don't check the timezone processor enough and at some point it's going to act up. I want you to remember me saying this when I see you again. It's your fault" You told him but your voice held no malice, quite the opposite, it was loving teasing and both Rose and Jack could tell.
"I'm gonna go meet Mickey at the train station" Rose said and she grabbed Jack with her as she left. Leaving you and the Doctor alone but not before looking at the Doctor one last time, smiling and giving him a big old wink.
With just the two of you left the Tardis was quiet except for the soft whirring of the engine as it fueled up.
"How do you know what a timezone processor is?" The Doctor asked.
"I can't tell you" You said.
"When are you from?" He asks.
"I can't tell you that either" You repeat.
"Then can you tell me why you're looking at me like that?" He asks.
You step closer to him and gently cradle his face in your hands.
"I've never this face before" You simply say.
"What are you to me?" He asks.
"One day you'll find out. One day you're going to look at this face and smile and you're going to call me brilliant and when you do you're going to remember this and who knows, maybe I'll see this face again" You told him and kissed his cheek.
The wheezing sound of the Tardis landing could be heard faintly from beyond the wooden doors and you smiled widely.
"See you soon" You said and turned around, walking out to hopefully find your Doctor waiting for you.
Outside the Tardis stood another blue police box with the door open and the Doctor stood outside.
"There you are! We've been looking all over for you!" He said. His face was covered in oil and grease.
"Did you fix the timezone processor?" you asked.
"Eh, eventually" The Doctor said.
"And was it sparking because of a loose wire from when we crashed on Auros?" You asked, admittedly somewhat condescendingly.
"Yes" The Doctor mumbled and you rolled your eyes.
"I told you to check it" You said as you walked inside. The Doctor closed the door behind you.
"Y/N" He said, calling your name and you turned your attention from the Tardis console to him.
"Yes love?" You asked.
"Have I told you that you're brilliant?" He asked and you smiled.
"Not recently, no" You said.

OKAY HOW ABOUT a reader who has to get used to Ten being so affectionate and loving whereas Nine was more reserved and withdrawn. Y/n isn't sure she/they can be with Ten after he regenerates because he's so different, but Ten proves to her that he still loves her the same as he did before and what not; then she gets to see how lovey dovey he has become!
I love Nine very much but I'm so starved for affection and what not. I think it could be so cute! You're the best!
Affection - 10th Doctor Headcanons
I think headcanons would work best for me with this request, so I hope that's fine!
Also... I LOVE YOU AND YOUR REQUESTS!!!!
God I hope this is at least decent, been so busy lately so this was a lil rushed lol
WARNING: fluff, angst
Tumblr media
(I was gonna say ignore the caption, but fuck that, the caption doesn't lie!😂)
Your relationship with 9 was a lot less touchy feely, sure he had his moments, but the majority of the time he only did small gestures that reminded you that he loved you a lot, even though he was a bit withdrawn from affection.
You knew that he loved you a lot, even though he wasn't exactly the most affectionate alien out there, there were small things he did that reassured you of his love.
Like how jealous he would get whenever someone like Jack was around.
Or him remembering the small details about you to remember in the future, like favourite food places and things like that!
That was before, though.
Now it's 10, and this one is a WHOLE LOT more affectionate than 9 was!
10 is the type of person who has to be constantly touching you just so he knows you're with him and you are safe.
I think 10 would be a lot more protective of you than 9 would be.
Like if something bad is happening and there are aliens that wanna kill you, HOO THAT BOI IS GONNA BEAT THEIR ASSES BEFORE THEY CAN TOUCH YOU!!
Especially touchy after a dangerous adventure.
After a dangerous adventure where you probably could have died, he always takes a travel break just to remind himself that you're here with him.
He absolutely loves cuddles too!
Whenever he gets a chance, he is on top of you, his face pressed against your chest with his arms secured tightly around you, he ain't gonna let go any time soon.
I think your doubts of the Doctors love would be eradicated when he gets protective or when he takes you to your favourite restaurant that you mentioned YEARS ago.
He's still the same Doctor who remembers the small details about you.
The same Doctor that would protect you from all the bad things.
The same Doctor that gets jealous every time Jack comes around and starts his flirting.

Just gonna throw a few prompts here seperately👀
M!Reader: "Are you... flirting with me?"
9th: "Gods no! What on earth gave you that idea?"
M!Reader: "I mean... Have you heard yourself talk?"
Flirting?
9th Doctor x Male Reader
It's so hard to find good GIFs of the 9th doctor.

The air on Platform One hummed with a mixture of excitement and anxiety as the Ninth Doctor led you to the observation deck. The grand event was about to unfold—the end of the Earth, a spectacle for the elite from across the universe.
The Doctor, in his brown leather jacket and timeless charm, couldn't help himself from explaining the intricacies of the impending cataclysm. "You see, my friend, it's not every day you witness the end of a planet. Well, for me, it's practically every other Tuesday, but for you, it's a unique experience!"
You chuckled nervously, feeling a mix of awe and unease. "Unique is one word for it. Are you sure we're not in any danger here?"
The Doctor shot you a reassuring grin. "Oh, absolutely! Platform One is perfectly safe. It's the best seat in the house, and I made sure to reserve it just for us."
As the two of you reached the observation deck, the enormity of the scene unfolded before your eyes. The sun loomed larger in the viewport, casting an eerie glow over the gathered alien dignitaries. The rich and powerful from various galaxies chatted and sipped their exotic beverages, ready to watch the impending demise of your home.
The Doctor gestured dramatically towards the Earth, his eyes shining with a peculiar mix of sadness and fascination. "There it is, my friend! The cradle of humanity, about to be engulfed in the fiery embrace of its own star. Quite poetic, isn't it?"
You nodded, trying to process the gravity of the moment. "Poetic and terrifying. But why are they treating it like a party?"
The Doctor chuckled, his eyes never leaving yours for long. "Well, when you're as rich and powerful as these folks, you tend to find joy in the strangest places. It's a universal quirk, really."
As the first signs of the sun's expansion became visible, you couldn't help but feel a shiver run down your spine. The Doctor, however, seemed unfazed, his attention seemingly divided between the cosmic spectacle and your reactions.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" he mused, his voice carrying a hint of melancholy.
You couldn't tear your eyes away from the impending apocalypse. "Yeah, in a terrifying, apocalyptic kind of way."
The Doctor's gaze shifted to you, and he flashed a grin. "Ah, but you've got me by your side. What could be better than that?"
You raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming on your lips. "Are you... flirting with me?"
The Doctor's eyes widened, and he sputtered, "Gods no! What on earth gave you that idea?"
You tilted your head, studying him. "I mean... Have you heard yourself talk? It's all mysterious and intense. Feels like you're trying to impress someone."
The Doctor scratched the back of his head, a sheepish grin playing on his lips. "Well, I suppose I do have a tendency to get carried away with the grandeur of it all. But trust me, it's just the excitement of the moment. No flirting involved."
You chuckled, shaking your head. "If you say so, Doctor."
As the sun expanded, swallowing the Earth in its fiery glow, you couldn't deny the surreal beauty of the moment. And even as the Doctor continued his rambling explanations, you found yourself grateful for the peculiar company you kept in the face of the Earth's grandeur and destruction.

Hiii, I was wondering if you could do headcannons for the doctors and having an affectionate/cuddly s/o? My fav doctors are 9 & 10 but any doctors are fine <3
your favs are 9&10 and mine are 11&13... so why just dont go with all of them? here you go, anon!
9th: At first, he gives you some weird looks. You grab his hands while walking, and he shoots you a side-eye, but he lets you. Whenever you need him, he's there. When you let him go, he steps back. He doesn't like it when you tap his head or cup his cheeks; he'll pout until you're laughing and wrapping your arms around his neck. Eventually, he gets used to holding you with an arm around your shoulders, letting you rest your head on his chest. Strangers often mistake you for a long-term couple, but in reality, you're just clingy, and he... well, he just can't say no to you.
10th: He's not really expecting it when you run into his arms just because you're excited about the planet you're both visiting, but he immediately accepts and hugs you tight. Later, he realizes he really enjoys physical contact when your hand is always on his arm while you talk. You hug him from behind when he's turned to the console, and he doesn't let you see his smile, but his hands are over yours anyway. You're affectionate, but he's needy. He likes holding hands, and eventually, he starts initiating contact too. It's nice, and you blush when people say you two would make a beautiful couple, especially when he agrees.
11th: He's the one who starts it. He has a hand on your back while you two explore an alien museum, and you take the chance to melt onto his body. He looks at you but says nothing, and now this is simply your thing. You like to be in his arms and to kiss his cheek, and he reciprocates by letting his chin rest on your shoulder/head (depending on how tall you are) and kissing your forehead before you go home. He's soft and goofy, and sometimes he doesn't let you get out of his embrace.
12th: He's not a hugger, and you respect it, but there are plenty of other ways to show your affection. You run your fingers on the back of his neck when sitting next to each other and always play with the collar of his shirt. He tries to pull your hands away, but you come back every time until he gives up and kisses your wrist, letting you do whatever you want. Sometimes he doesn't respond to your touch, but the look in his eyes already says everything you need to know.
13th: She loves everything you do and doesn't seem to notice when you tangle your fingers together. She holds your hand in hers as if it were usual, and that's pretty much it. She's obsessed with hugs, and it's kind of hard to find a moment where she isn't all over you. You couldn't imagine a happier life.

Hi! Can I send in a request for being another timelord who travels with the 9th doctor and Rose Tyler being like a sister figure to Y/N?
A/N- Yes yes yes!!! I have actually had an idea for something like this just hadn't written it yet.
Readers Pronouns- She/Her
Word Count- 3.9k
Summary- (BASED ON S1 E6) The Doctor and Rose find themselves in a bunker in Utah full of alien artifacts. They are shocked to find some of these artifacts are alive and not here of their own free will. You just so happen to be one of these artifacts.
The Slightly Behind Timelord
Tumblr media
I used to keep track of how many days I'd been chained and experimented on but the days quickly turned into months and the months turned to years. I've long since lost hope of ever returning to Gallifrey. It was in shambles when I was last home, the war was constant. I was a coward and stole my parent's Tardis to escape from having to fight. A stupid coward who didn't check if it was in working condition to only have crashed and ended up imprisoned by a man who I know as Mr. Van Statten. I should have stayed and fought then at least I would have died with dignity.
I have refused to talk since my arrival. I may have betrayed Gallifrey by fleeing but I refuse to make things worse than they already are there. Nevertheless, Mr. Van Statten comes and talks to me every single day asking about about my ship. They have dissected the TARDIS piece by piece. I secretly hope it burns them alive. When Mr. Van Statten inevitably gets nothing out of me he sends in a man an orange suit to torture it out of me. It never works but they do not stop.
Today was different they had a new man with them, he was restrained and they strapped him to the walls like me. I wonder if this was a new torture strategy.
"Look here we got you a friend maybe now you will do some talking," Van Statten says cheerfully.
I look at the man with pity knowing they are going to torture him as well. Van Statten's men unchain me and drag me to the other side of the room. I don't even fight them anymore I don't have the energy to spare.
Van Statten powers up his inhumane X-ray and says, "Smile!"
The man screams in pain as the red beam scans him and Van Statten smiles in glee at the results.
"Two hearts! A binary vascular system! Here I thought you were special," he shouts a glare in my direction and the man chained up widens his eyes.
The man doesn't look at Van Statten but puts his focus on me, "Where are you from?"
"No point in talking to her she hasn't spoken since we tore her from the rubble of her ship. She put up quite the fight when we started dissembling her ship screaming you are killing her. Then not a single word," he sighs in disappointment shaking his head at me. "I would get rid of her now that I have you but I need more information about the ship."
I suck in a breath they kill without care here, I wonder if everyone on this planet is like that. The man chained is certainly not from here maybe he can get me out. However, he is looking at me like I am unreal so perhaps not.
If looks could kill Van Statten would certainly be dead from this man's fiery gaze, "You're not a collector you're a scavenger."
"This technology has been falling to earth for centuries I am simply just making use of it. Oh the advances I've made from alien junk you have no idea, Doctor," he grins but I quickly interrupt.
I gasp, "The Doctor! Has Gallifrey won the war! How are you here?"
Van Satten's grin turns to a full-blown smile, "First you make the Dalek talk now my longest surviving exhibit! You truly are something!"
"there- there is uh... a Dalek here," I whisper afraid to speak their name.
The Doctor looks at me eyes full of guilt and astonishment, he still looks at me as if I am not here.
"Thank you again Doctor so much for getting her to talk keep her talking for me why don't you? Since you all seem so scared of said Dalek, I think I will go back and try to have a word with it. I find fear is the best motivator to get people spending, " Van Statten is practically glowing with joy and I wish I could smack the joy right off.
The Doctor wrestles with his chains trying to break free, "You can't go in there with it! Now that it knows that I am here it will come looking for me! No one on this planet will be safe!"
His screams fill me with fear if I could throw up right now I would but they hardly ever feed me so there is nothing to throw up so I end up hyperventilating. Mr. Van Statten ends up shocking the Doctor and his angry words are replaced with painful screams.
I struggle against my chains screaming at the top of my lungs, "He tells the truth! You don't stand a chance against the Daleks! The war lasted centuries on Gallifrey here you will be lucky to last day!"
Van Statten looks at me in awe, "Wow full sentences maybe you will prove useful after all these years."
Nothing I say to this psychotic man will ever get into that thick skull of his, I would facepalm if my hands weren't shackled to the wall.
Alarms sound and angry red lights flash, my heart sinks, it's to late.
The Doctor's tone shifts from begging to demanding, "Release me if you want to live."
Van Statten quickly makes work of the chains holding the Doctor down and runs for the door.
The Doctor points to me, "Forgetting someone?"
Van Statten waves him off, "We haven't the time!"
"You need all the information you can get on Daleks, let her out now!" he shouts leaving no room for questions and Van Statten quickly does the command.
My legs feel like jelly as we run into the elevator I can't remember the last time I've walked unchained let alone run. I felt so out of place, especially in a ratty hospital gown.
"You have to keep it caged," he shouts to Van Statten's lackeys.
"Doctor it's all my fault," a blonde says apologetically on the screen.
A guard informs us that he has sealed off the exits and the lock as a million combos no way the thing's getting out. I shake my head at his idiocy I just hope this blonde girl is also a timelord, the more the better.
"Daleks are genius they can figure out a billion combinations in ten seconds flat." The Doctor informs.
The Dalek quickly figures out how to exit the moment I see it on the screen I cover my mouth in horror.
"Don't shoot I want it unharmed!" Van Statten shouts.
"Are you that dense! You would rather a whole planet die than lose a collection piece!" I shout at the man who held me captive for years and swing a punch at his face which earns me the pleasant crunch noise from his nose.
two guards pull me away from him as I smile for the first time in ages. The Doctor doesn't seem to notice the commotion shouting for the blonde whose name is apparently Rose to run.
I look back to the screen to see the Dalek destroying the screen connection. I feared the sucker would go right through the screen and appear before me like a Weeping Angel. I stumbled backward but the guards just tugged harder to keep me in place. I groaned in response to the uncomfortable position.
The Doctor's head whipped in the direction of the noise in high alert, "let her go! You are focused on the wrong alien here!"
The guards look to Van Statten for his approval, "She's got one hell of a right hook, I'll give her that... drop her.
The guards took this a little too literally and dropped me directly on my ass, as the others make their way to the computer.
"Oh my god, it's draining the whole power supply," the woman with us gasped.
"It's not just the energy it's the whole internet, it knows everything," The Doctor states.
"Cameras in the vault our down," the woman relays.
"It's going to absorb everything," I sigh
"We have to kill it now!" The Doctor shouts.
We watch soldiers die again and again through the surveillance cameras. It's Gallifrey all over again I can't escape it, but maybe I can help this time instead of running away.
"Tell them to stop shooting!" Van Statten says but I am seriously praying this is a very cruel joke.
"But it's killing them!" The woman shouted back.
"They're dispensable that Dalek is unique. I don't want a single scratch on it!" he shouts to the lifeless soldiers.
I clench my fists, "You are asking me to hurt you! You are putting lives over a killer," I shout getting in his face his guards instantly stand up preparing for me to strike him again which probably wasn't far off thinking.
"He's an idiot we need to focus," The Doctor interrupts and I return my gaze to the map as they discuss alien weapons.
"There has to be a way to keep it alive, maybe we trap it down there-"
The Doctor cuts him off, "Leaving everyone trapped with it? Rose is down there. I won't let that happen, have you got that?"
That seems to shut Van Statten up for once thank god.
"Who is Rose? Is she from Gallifrey? Did you two come here to stop the last Dalek? Does that mean Gallifrey is safe again?" I ramble many questions at once.
"Doesn't talk for years now you don't shut up," he glares at me like this whole situation is somehow my fault.
The Doctor frowns, "Leave her be Statten." He ignores my questions and tells them to arm all the soldiers with alien weapons it's the only way to beat it. Then he directs the soldiers on how to kill a Dalek always aim for the eye the soldiers shut him down.
"I can't help but think everyone on this planet is insanely dense," I sigh.
The doctor smirks, " There are some good humans out there, you wouldn't know being stuck here with these imbeciles."
Van Statten's glare burns into The Doctor I feel the heat of the glare just from the proximity.
"We have visuals again," the woman informs and all of our eyes dart to the computer.
"It wants us to see," The Doctor growled.
We all stare in shock as the Dalek uses the sprinklers to electrocute and kill all the soldiers at once.
"Perhaps we should consider a different strategy like abandoning the place," Van Statten nervously stumbles over his words. I had never seen him like this he always seemed confident when torturing me. If this were any other situation I would be overjoyed to see him like this. I wish I was the one to make him feel like this, not the Dalek.
The woman glares at him, "Except there's no power to the helipad, sir."
"You said we could seal the vault," The Doctor interrupts their glaring showdown.
"There's not enough power!" she shouts.
"There's emergency power we could redirect it to the bulkhead door," The Doctor defends.
"It would take a computer genius to get through the security codes!" The woman says frustrated.
"Good thing you got me," Mr. Van Statten smiles.
"You wanna help?" The Doctor asks shocked.
"No there is no way he wants to help! It is physically impossible he has no empathy. This has to be a trick!" I shout.
"It's not out of empathy, I don't want to die as simple as that. This could have been avoided if you talked in the first place. I would have known what it was capable of years ago." He shouts back at me.
The camera turns back on and the Dalek's voice fills the room, "I shall only speak to the doctor."
"You are gonna get rusty," he responds to the Dalek who still getting soaked by the sprinkler system.
"I don't think now is a great time for jokes Doctor," I whisper.
"I fed off the DNA of Rose Tyler. Extrapolating the biomass of a time-traveler regenerated me," the Dalek speaks.
"What's your next trick," the Doctor rolls his eyes.
"I have been searching for the Daleks," it responds.
"Yeah, I saw downloading the entire internet. What did you see?" He saunters around the table.
"I searched your radio signals and telescopes," it responds.
I anxiously pick at the scabs already forming from when I punched Satten. What will happen if this Dalek happens to find more Daleks? What if he isn't the last one.
The Doctor seems completely unphased, "and find anything?"
"Nothing, Where shall I get my order from now!" It screams loudly.
"Nothing but a solider without any commands," the Doctor teases.
I look at him in shock he can't possibly think it's a good thing to rile up at a Dalek more.
"Then I shall follow my primary order, the Dalek instinct to conquer and destroy," it responds.
"What for! What's the point!" The Doctor shouts his facade slipping. "Don't you see everything is gone, everything you stood for."
"Then what should I do?" The Dalek actually seemed to have an emotion other than hatred. Many emotions. I would have felt bad for it if not for all they have done against Gallifrey.
"Alright, then. If you want orders follow this one. Kill yourself," the doctor responds coldly.
I look up at him with wide eyes this is not the Doctor they spoke of on Gallifrey the mischievous one who was too smart for his own good. This Doctor was cold and harsh with his words.
"The Daleks must live on," the Dalek shouts in a familiar rage that all Daleks have.
"The Daleks have failed! Why don't you finish the job and make the Daleks extinct! Rid the universe of your filth! Why don't you just die, " The Doctor shouts back such cruel words that I am worried that the Dalek will retaliate immediately.
"You would make a good Dalek," it responds and I think I have officially heard the worst insult anyone could make toward a Gallifreyian.
I put my hand on the Doctor's arm, " I am so sorry."
The Doctor does not look at me he looks broken but yells to Statten, "Seal the vaults!"
"She's still down there," the woman whispers to the doctor.
He calls Rose on his phone to get updates on her location he cares so much about this Rose she has to be a Time Lady like me. I can't imagine the Doctor having much time to visit other planets after the war.
He relays to her that he can't stop the gate from closing she has to run. He waits as long as he can and apologizes before shutting the vault. He frantically asks if she made it but his face quickly sets into a deep frown.
He quickly pulls off his earpiece, "I killed her."
Van Statten says, "I'm sorry." I have never heard him say sorry before I haven't heard the word sorry in so long it sounds foreign.
"I was supposed to protect! She was only here because of me! And you're sorry? I could have killed that Dalek in its cell but you stopped me."
"It was the prize of my collection!" He defended.
I shook my head hard, "You valued your collection over life you are disgusting."
"Man goes to space to be part of something greater," the Doctor spits.
"Exactly! I wanted to touch the stars! That's why I kept her here!" he points to me. "If you think about it, it is all her fault none of this would have happened if she told me how her ship worked."
The Doctor shook his head, "You just wanted to drag the stars underground! Of course, she wouldn't talk you enslaved her and experimented on her! You are about as far from the stars as you can get!" His angry screams turned to sorrowful sighs, "And you took Rose down with you she was nineteen years old."
"She's so young can she not regenerate?" I ask sadly.
"She's human," he sighs.
I can't understand what a timelord is doing traveling with humans I understand now is not the time for questions.
The elevator doors open and the Doctor is quick to yell at the man for leaving his companion behind.
The monitor turns back on the Dalek holding its weapon to the back of the girl, "Open the vault or Rose Tyler dies."
The doctor gasps, "You're alive!"
"Can't get rid of me that easily," she teases.
"I thought you were dead," he shouts.
The Dalek interrupts, "Open the vault!"
"Don't" she begs.
"What use are emotions, if you will not save the woman you love," the Dalek states. Curious what does a Dalek know about love?
"I killed her once, I can't do it again," he states as he presses the button.
This is most certainly not the Doctor who was infamous in Gallifrey how long have I been missing. I hear Van Satten shouting but none of it really matters anymore. The Dalek will kill us and I have been missing so long that no one back home will know the difference. I am not going down without a fight. If my life didn't mean something hopefully my death can.
I adjust my posture to appear taller, "You collect all these dangerous aliens so where are your dangerous alien weapons?"
The woman shouts at me "All the weapons are in the vault!"
"Only the cataloged ones," Van Statten's employee smiles at me. I can't help the blush that appears on my face I can't remember the last time someone smiled at something I said.
The Doctor nods his head at me, "Good idea." He still looks at me like I'm a figment of his imagination and will disappear soon.
We left Van Statten and his assistant upstairs and went to the basement for weapons. The doctor tosses the weapons that are useless but finds a gun which relieves some of my anxiety.
"Stay here! I'll come back for you as soon as I handle the Dalek!" He demands
"You are out of your mind! I've been locked here for years and you're the first timelord I've seen here! If you think I am letting you fight a Dalek alone you're mental!" I shout back it feels strange screaming at anyone after refusing to speak for so long even weirder to scream at a war hero from my own planet.
He takes a deep breath trying to control his rage, "I don't have time for this! I can't have you dying while I am saving Rose!"
I shove him, hold my head high, and walk right by him, "I have more regenerations left than you old man."
He jogs to catch up to me, "No convincing you?"
"God you sound like my parents when I stole their Tardis," I groan as we jog up the stairs.
He smirks, "I stole a Tardis myself once."
"Now that's a story I have to hear," I grin wide.
"Another day," he sighs as we quietly enter the room with the Dalek and Rose.
The Doctor steps in front of me "Rose get out of the way now!"
"No, I won't let you do this," she frowns.
I stare wide-eyed at her she can't be saying this does she know of the war on Galifrey why wouldn't the Doctor have told her.
"That thing killed thousands of people!" He shouts.
"It's not the one pointing a gun at me," she snaps and I kind of want to throttle this girl.
"I've got to do this the Daleks destroyed my home! My people! I've got nothing left!" He shouts.
My head whips to face the Doctor, "What do you mean nothing." My voice shakes no matter how hard I try to remain calm. "We didn't win the war? How are you here then?"
I turn back to the Dalek, "Did they win?"
I stomp towards the Dalek and the doctor pleads with me to wait. Rose looks at me nervously I guess I can still look scary in a hospital gown and no weapon of my own. When she steps out of the way I freeze in my spot I've never seen a Dalek out of its exoskeleton.
"What is it doing?" This has to be a ploy, one they use to seem weaker then snap. Though a Dalek would never do that they need to feel superior or they are nothing.
"It's the sunlight that's all it wants," Rose defends the Dalek as it reaches its hand to the sun I back up. This is not normal behavior.
The Doctors' gaze follows, "But it can't..."
"It couldn't kill me or Van Statten it's changing!" Rose defends yet again. "And what about you Doctor what the hell are you changing into?"
I whip to Rose, "You have no right! You have no idea what these Daleks did to our home!"
"Our?" She questions.
"Why do we survive?" The Dalek asks. "I am the last of the Daleks."
"You're not even that, you absorbed Rose's DNA. You are mutating," the Doctor explains.
"Into what?" it responds.
"Something new," he replies.
I frown I am happy that there are no more Daleks but this is truly a Dalek's worst nightmare.
"I am sorry," The Doctor sighs.
"isn't that better?" Rose asks.
"Not for a Dalek," why am I feeling sorry for the Dalek they destroy everything it's their goal. I can't help but relate to it when we have been stuck in the same prison for years... I thought about burning this whole place down myself.
"So many ideas, so much darkness. Give me orders! Order me to die Rose," the Dalek says pained.
She shakes her head, "No I can't."
"This is not life! This is sickness. I shall not be like you. Order me to die. Obey! Obey! Obey!" The dalek screams and I can't help but step a few feet back the words reminding me of hearing the constant battlefield noises out my childhood window on Gallifrey.
"Do it," she says.
"Are you frightned Rose Tyler?"
"Yes"
"So am I, Exterminate." The Dalek floats up and prepares to self destruct as Rose and I run away from it.
I fall to the ground as I watch the Dalek explode all the adrenaline I once had fades out of me. I look up to the Doctor, "What do you mean you have no one?"
His pitiful gaze that he sent me when he first found out I was Timelord made sense now as he responds, There's no more Gallifrey... no more Daleks. The whole planet gone."
I can sob " I should have stayed home. I should have never ran away. If I stayed at least I would have gone with my family." I turn to the doctor but can barely see him through my tears. "Is there really no other Timelords?"
Rose quickly gets onto the floor and rubs my back, "hey you never know! The Doctor thought he was the only Timelord left but here you are! Plus you get to constantly prove the Doctor was wrong not many people get the oppurtunity."
I sniffle, "That's true, and I do love proving people wrong."
"There you go," she soothes. "We will get you a good cup of tea my Mum always says tea cure anything," She helps me to feet.
"You are really good at this comforting thing. Is she always this sweet?" I ask the Doctor.
The Doctor seems to have glossy eyes as well but hides his emotions well, "Yeah, that's why I keep her around."
"Hey!" she shoves him.
"The grief is very heavy right now but I am thankful to be surrounded by such light that could even turn a Dalek's cold heart warm.

“ It was quite a sunny day today”
Tumblr media
This gif doesn't belong to me.
Heyyyy! 'sup, let me give you a small temporal paradox with a reader meeting 9th while traveling with Bow tie man. Hope you enjoy it.
Plot hevealy inspired by this work by : @am-i-obsessed---maybe : "Wrong Tardis".
Warning : english is not my first language, so please be indulgent. Might contain a little bit of ansgt, but a lot of comfort for our doctor.
Froggit-
------------------------
The TARDIS had made a strange calculation once again. The Doctor found himself on Earth, in London, yet unsure of the reason behind his visit, still attempting to pick up the signal.
While examining the screens and discussing the matter with his temporary companion, Jack, the doors unexpectedly opened on their own, despite being locked. A female voice called out, leaving him uncertain how to react. The man beside him mirrored his expression before attempting to prevent the stranger from entering.
"Doctor! I thought you were only picking me up at seven; you’re early."
Turning toward the door, the Doctor watched warily as a woman with (h/c) hair approached the console, attempting to send a message to what seemed to be a friend.
"You're awfully quiet, are you okay, darling?" Finally looking up from her phone, the girl realized the situation she had stumbled into. Lifting her chin, she found Jack’s chest mere centimeters from her nose. "Jack? How are you here?" It had been a while since she had seen Jack. His appearances had dwindled after the Ponds began traveling with the Doctor.
“And who might you be, beautiful lady?”
At that moment, she realized her mistake. Looking past the captain, she saw someone she didn’t recognize at first. His hair was too short, his ears larger, and his style vastly different. This wasn’t her Doctor and his gaze indicated that he had never met her before. She had entered the wrong TARDIS. At least with Jack's presence, she assumed he was still with Rose, but she didn’t seem to be with them.
Deciding to take responsibility, she assumed a different identity, at least temporarily. Using a past name seemed the safest option. Neither of them would recognize her if something went wrong.
“Sorry for the intrusion. Name's Sunny. I’m a 'future' friend.”
“Sunny? What a wonderful name. Well, I suppose you already know who I am, but I'll introduce myself anyway. Jack Harkness. Pleasure to meet you.”
Extending his hand, she accepted it with a slight smile. She had forgotten how charming his younger self could be.
“Pleasure to meet you too. So, tell me, what brought you both here? I can only imagine some kind of Sontaran planting a bomb again.”
“Again?” asked the Doctor, now fully turned toward her.
“Spoilers,” she said with a small smile as she examined the younger Doctor. Even with a different face, he was still mesmerizing. She wondered what his smile would look like if he wasn’t frowning so much. She wanted to kiss his forehead, smooth it from any wrinkles.
“We have picked up a strange signal in the middle of London.”
“Never would have thought to be called a strange signal.”
“How could you be the signal?” Asked Jack, now leaning against the rail.
“Your little emitter is dying in my pocket. Distress signal, I guess. When you left me, you were going to look for a new one.” As she put her hands in her pockets, she pulled out a small phone wired with other components.
Approaching the console, she gently brushed it, lingering with a small smile at the old console. “Hello, old girl,” she thought, before handing the device over to the Doctor for analysis.
“How come you have this? I haven't finished this prototype yet.”
“Told you, future friend.”
And there it was, the smile she had been looking for. She almost wished she had met the Doctor sooner to see more of it. Sensing the tension, Jack excused himself, wanting to “explore” for a bit before returning to his time.
-------------
The sound of the sonic made her feel dizzy. The silence felt weird, at least to her. The Doctor hadn’t met her yet, after all, but here she was with a younger version of himself, filling her chest with butterflies .
“So, tell me, why would I give you this sort of device? Do you get lost so often that I need to provide it?”
“Kinda…”
“When are we meant to meet?”
“Hey… Spoilers, darling.”
“And why do you look at me like that?”
“Like what?”
“What are we? Obviously, we are not just friends with those eyes.”
If only he knew. Fiddling with the three rings on her hand, she smiled, thinking back to her “wedding.” It was under weird circumstances, yes, but she couldn’t have wished for a better way. The Doctor, River, and her, before the universe.
“That’s for me to know and you to find out...” Fully turning to face him, she took his hand, their ringed fingers intertwining as if they were always meant to be. “You know what? I suppose I could give you a small glimpse into the future. I’ll give you three questions. Of course, I won't provide anything that could disrupt your timeline. I'd be an awful partner if I did.”
“Partner?”
Looking at his hand in hers, he wanted to ask about the rings. Why were there three, and not one? Was she married to multiple people?
”Why three rings?”
“A promise for each heart. Two were given to me by the man I love, and the last one by a particularly dashing anthropologist.”
“What promise did you make?”
“I promised to always come back to them, no matter what life brings. To love them until the end of the universe without doubt. To love them until I truly die.” As she spoke, he could see the affection she held for those individuals. It wasn’t just promises; she had already fulfilled them before and would do so again if needed.
Thinking back to what was just revealed, he felt his ears burn. Two rings for two hearts . That man was him, at least his future self! Looking at her with wide eyes, he slowly pointed at her and then himself, still unsure of the implications. Her smile melted his hearts as he realized he had guessed correctly. He couldn’t wait to meet her again, but the fact that she had made such a promise meant something significant had happened.
“Something happened, didn’t it?”
“Not in the way you might think.” Lifting her free hand, she cradled his face, brushing his cheek affectionately. “I made this promise on the day of our first encounter. It wasn’t easy for either of us, but there was only one way out of that situation. And I'll have you know it wasn’t your fault. Years from now, you still think of that day as a dark one, where you lost someone once more. To me, it was one of the brightest days in the universe. That day, I finally had a purpose, something to keep going. And I think you tend to forget how powerful your name can be, how much hope you give by simply giving others a way to shine.”
---------------
She went to release his hand, but he held onto it, wanting to savor the moment a few seconds longer. It felt weird, he never had met her before, but here he was trying to make her stay.
“How long until I meet you?”
“I thought I only gave you three questions.”
And there it was, that pleading look he gave her when he wanted something. Those two blue eyes piercing her heart with curiosity, wanting to know more about their first encounter.
“It's going to be a while before you find me, and a brief trip to France to meet me for the first time. And when I say we’re going to meet again, I might have to relearn how to be myself before catching up with  you.”
As she finished her explanation, she heard a faint and familiar whirring noise from the other side of the TARDIS doors. Giving a final smile to the Doctor, she kissed his forehead before finally letting go of his hand.
“Well, this is my leave. See you soon, Doctor…”
And as the TARDIS doors closed, the man beside the console was left in daze. Confused yet excited by this new encounter. This woman was someone he would travel with, fall for, and marry. But what struck him the most was what she had implied: they would meet again and again, yet she would forget it at some point. It pained him a bit to know, but he couldn’t wait to meet her again.
As Jack made his way back, “Sunny” was nowhere to be seen. In her place, a grinning doctor, holding the now repaired device in his hand. Thoughts of a brighter future flooding his mind.
—---------------
Bonus :
“(Y/N) I found what we were searching for !” Did Your doctor exclaim, meeting your gaze with a bright and excited smile. The one you always loved to see. “Also found a yellow note with a sun on it, not sure why, don’t remember putting it here.”
Giving you both, you smiled at the small note. A sun circling a small sentence. “ It was quite a sunny day today”.  Smirking silently, you finally brought the device to your now empty pockets, and folded the small note to put in your phone case.
“Come here bow tie maniac” Reaching for his bow tie, you planted your lips on his forehead before kissing him on the lips.
“How come I didn't know you had worn leather jackets before ?” Did you ask him with a teasing tone.

I've already got something I have to finish writing out. Well more like two something's but.
What about a fic where the reader is bored on the Tardis. Maybe the Doctor had to do some repairs. Maybe she needed to refuel. And to pass the time reader decides to ask the Doctor how to say some words in Galifreyen.
They start with simple things. Like "Hi." "Hello." "My name is."
And it's such a quiet domestic moment. The reader is stumbling over the words. Something so fluid and pretty to say but hard to wrap their tongue around it.
The reader is trying so hard. They want to be able to speak with the Doctor in their native tongue. So that they can hear their language spoken. So that maybe. Just maybe it won't die with him.
And then they're laughing. Eyes bright as they once again fumble. Giggling to themselves as they try to even their breath and the Doctor just.
"I love you." Spoken in Galifreyen. And of course the reader doesn't understand it. All they can see is the Doctor going all wide eyes. Face flushed as they clear their throat and look away.
"You haven't told me that one. What does that mean?" And when they won't look back the reader places a hand on their shoulder. "Doctor?"
The Doctor doesn't want to admit it. Not yet. Not now. (Oh but they do. Oh how they really do.)
"It's hard to translate into your language but." They clear their throat again. Trailing a hand along the Tardis's railing. "It's a name for a close friend. A saying of sorts." They press their hand to their chest. Over the twin beating hearts. And oh how they are beating. Pounding. Begging them to tell you how they feel.
"Friend of my hearts. One who is close to the hearts." They shrug."Or something close to that." The Doctors breath leaving them when they see you glance away. Brows furrowed as you think. Soft lips moving. Speaking without speaking then.
"I love.. Shit.. I love y..you." A grin so bright it blinded them then. "I love you."
And oh how the Tardis falls away. The Doctor focused on you and only you.
Oh how those words replay. Over and over again.

Homesick
this is a Doctor who fanfic, it's almost like a big experiment that I'm doing with a lot, LIKE A LOT, of theories or headcanons in it, crucial to this story (not all of them but whatever). I will put every source I use in this fics and if this series continues they will be A LOT. today's source tho it's just one @/whynotjohnlock I took something from them so thank you for the informations. There are some "uncanny valley" references but I tried to explain them as best as I could, let's just say it's full of nerd stuff and it will only get worst :)
♤♤♤♤
pairing: 9th Doctor x reader (will eventually become 10th later on.)
English is not my first language so I apologise for the mistakes.
♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧
The street Y/n is walking in makes him nauseous, he saw that street so many times...the buildings, the houses, the people...all the same all the time, it's like living a nightmare: 20 years always in the same place with the same faces and the same dreams, dreams that not even he can believe.
Y/n lights up a cigarette letting the smoke fill his lungs and brain, it's poisonous yet it feels so good, the way his brain gets dizzy everytime the smoke gets in his body it's what he needs, it's the best feeling he can get in that small town somewhere.
He looks at the too familiar place with dead eyes, not even an emotion, maybe disgust for the place, he knows he will die in the same house he grew up in, like all the people in that fucking place, he will die sad and alone like his father before him, and the father of his father; lonliness and bad behaviour run strong in his family, as much as he hates it he is his parents' son, he has the same destructive, hot tempered and maybe pessimistic side of his father but the horrible, pathetic, useless kind heart his mother had..great woman his mother, always there to help the others until one day she helped the wrong person.
The street is looking as he remembers except for a tiny little detail, there's a phone box hidden in an alley, he has seen that alley a million times before but that blue box? it appeared from no where, almost a glitch in the matrix, he thinks; he's such a nerd.
Y/n steps closer carefully looking in case the owner is around, he feels the blue wood on his fingers genlty caressing it with his right hand, it's almost like the blue box can feel it, Y/n can swear he saw it light up for a tiny second. He steps away shaking his head, the door of the box is locked, he does take a picture tho, unusual to see something like that, it brought up feelings Y/n forgot he had.
"and who are you?" A voice behind him makes him flinch for a second, he never heard that voice before, Y/n turn around trying to go back to his stern look rather than the curiosity that made his face soften making him look like a kid.
"Is that yours?" Y/n asks crossing his arms, the man is wearing a big leather jacket and he's almost bald with a really noticeable nose, but overall he looks attractive Y/n has to be honest with himself
"answering a question with a question?" The man smirked in a sort of cheeky way, not arrogant even if it seemed that way
"avoiding to answer the question?" Y/n shot back tilting his head slightly, the man was a bit taller than him, probably much older, his eyes were at least, to the point where his face didn't match them.
"that is mine" the man answered in a calm tone, he looked weird tho, he didn't fit in properly, he was an english guy with a northern accent owner of a blue box in a hidden alley. Y/n looks at him suspiciously, his mind racing trying to think about what could be in that blue box, the most stupid reason comes to his mind but it's too late to stop his own mouth.
"what do you hide there? drugs? It won't take long for someone to notice it, it's a small town people talk." Y/n says looking around the alley but apparently there was nobody except for them, the man looks at Y/n puzzled and then speaks
"will you talk?" he asks waiting for an answer, Y/n raises his eyebrows, he was so weird, yet fascinating.
"no.." Y/n answers unsure looking between the man and that blue box
"great then, see ya" he says entering the blue box, but he leaves the door open, Y/n looks around the box, he hears noises coming from inside, he takes a look not sure what to expect but anything was better than the usual.
The blue box was bigger on the inside, Y/n couldn't believe his eyes, he steps in rapidly scanning the place and taking information, he processes everything as fast as he can but he feels his mind about to explode; the man is going around the console pressing buttons untill he notices the young man and smirks
"do you always come in when you're not invited?" he asks looking at Y/n with the same smug face as before
"do you always leave the door open for strangers?" He answers back quickly, too busy wondering around with his eyes to pay attention to the man
"this is the TARDIS, Time And Relative Dimension In Space" he explains crossing his arms and leaning on the console
"I was going to say bigger on the inside but.." Y/n starts to walk around biting his lower lip to think "maybe pocket dimension, this TARDIS is probably on another plane of existence or does it expand this one?" Y/n asks but wasn't waiting for an answer he just keeps thinking stopping sometimes humming a bit and then keeps talking
"if it travels in the fourth dimension, commonly known as time then it has the ability to change its weight and size...even appearance" he kept going mostly talking to himself
"it needs an incredible amount of power...a star maybe, a black hole even if less likely..fascinating tho, this can't be human and neither can you" He turns to the man who had a surprised look rather than a smug one, even a little bit amused by the man wondering around his TARDIS
"almost like uncanny valley just less scary I guess, my brain recognised you as an human being, yet something about you seemed off even if I couldn't recall what was it," Y/n affirms tilting his head to the side, that's what he always does when he's pointing out or suspecting something or at least that's what the man in the leather jacket noticed about him.
"so, what's your name?" he finishes getting closer to the man
"The Doctor" he answer with a tiny smirk crossing his arms in front of Y/n
"Doctor who?" Y/n asks raising his eyebrows, 'The Doctor' chuckles, he heard that question a lot Y/n thinks,
"just The Doctor" He says smiling at Y/n, a wide smile impressed by the younger man knowledge
"apparently you don't need me to explain how the TARDIS works.." he says while Y/n shrugs
"I failed physics 4 times, I know it by heart now" he explains in a low tone as if someone else could hear him and call him a nerd.
"you want to see it in action?" The Doctor says pressing some buttons as Y/n tryes to play it cool and hide the excitement
"is that even a question?" he just says screaming internally, finally something different, he can't believe he is leaving that small town, this can't be real, he might have bumped his head and now he's in coma.
"where are we going?" Y/n asks still focusing on the Doctor's movement, which buttons he presses and when, he can almost feel the levers and buttons under his fingers, he wants to drive the TARDIS, just to know how it feels like.
"anywhere you li-" as The Doctor tries to finish the sentence the TARDIS shakes making both of them fall to the ground, Y/n bumps his head as he groans in pain raising his hand to reach his head.
As the TARDIS stops Y/n stands up still holding his head massaging it and then turns to The Doctor with a stern look
"who gave you the licence, a fucking monkey? no not even a monkey, they would drive it better!" Y/n complains but the other man doesn't listen to him, instead he steps outside with a courious look on his face, Y/n follows him mumbling things under his breath
"we're in London?" he says looking around, Y/n scoffs
"anywhere in time and space and you bring me in London...in 2005!" he whines following the man in the city, Y/n clearly doesn't fit in, with his earrings and general piercings he looks like the lost member of the Tokyo Hotel however he tries to let the weird looks from the people slide for now,
"I didn't bring you here, the TARDIS brought us here for some reason," The Doctor answers
From that moment on things happen, they meet Rose, she's great and Y/n likes her. they fight with mannequins and a disgusting looking thing, Mickey is there too, not as great as Rose but whatever. It's time to go, Y/n knows the Doctor wants to take Rose with him, something is going on, it's clear in their eyes. Mickey is hiding behind a pallet, pathetic, Y/n thinks but doesn't say anything about it.
"a lot of good you were" Rose says looking at the man who's leaning on the TARDIS doorway, Y/n is outside, watching the scene carefully, his bleeding due to scratches on his face he tried to clean them with a tissue but that's what he gets for starting a fight with mannequins.
"Nestene Consciousness? Easy" he says with a smug smirk, Rose and Y/n let out a scoff
"you were useless in there, you'd be dead if it wasn't for me"
at the end of it Rose runs in the TARDIS, The Doctor smiles widely running to the console, even Y/n let's out a little smile looking at Rose, letting her know he's happy she came with them.
"Right then, Rose Tyler, you tell me. Where do you want to go? Backwards or fowards in time. It's your choice. What's it going to be?" The Doctor asks turning to Rose while Y/n quickly turns to him with a annoyed face,
" hey! what about me?" he says, after all he still didn't get a trip, or well he did but in London, 2005...that could've gone a bit better honestly.
"I don't talk to people with a black eye" he says turning to Y/n who mumbles "wait until I get you a black eye"
--
After the end of the earth, Y/n feels bad, mostly because Rose was so sentimental and sad of watching the earth get burned, he insisted watched, he watched with relief, the place that hurt him many many many years ago is burning down, he's watching it burn down. Rose calls her mom, she feels homesick, she doesn't want to look at it, Y/n tho he is watching every second of it, he's silent, his hands in his pockets, his face still bruised by the first trip, in his eyes the reflection of his world burning but no sign of sadness, to be clear no sign of anything. Rose's homesick, Y/n's home makes him sick.
The Doctor notice it, he sees the difference between his two new companions, he sees the difference in how they perceive things, when they killed Cassandra, Rose knew it was the right thing and maybe was even ok with it, Y/n wasn't, he glanced at The Doctor with rage and disappointment, how could he kill someone so easily? The Doctor tries to put a hand on Y/n shoulder but doesn't, instead Rose talks while watching the asteroids
"The end of the Earth. It's gone. We were too busy saving ourselves. No one saw it go. All those years, all that history, and no one was even looking. It's just" Rose stops not able to continue, The Doctor shifts his gaze from Y/n to Rose smiling as he easily understand her better than he can understand him.
"come with me" he says heading back to the TARDIS with rose following him, Y/n tho stays still amd that's when Rose notices the white knuckles of the man getting white while his fists get tighter,
"Y/n, you're coming?" she asks touching the man's arm lightly almost afraid, his hand relaxes as he looks at her trying to fake a calm expression as his gaze softens
"sure," he nods forcing his lips to curve in a smile.
They're back in London standing in the crowd, kids crying, people yelling and all that, Y/n sighs looking around, he doesn't understand if he's as relieved as Rose at the sight of normality but for now he turns to the other two as the Doctor begins to speak
"You think it'll last forever, people and cars and concrete, but it won't. One day it's all gone. Even the sky. My planet's gone. It's dead. It burned like the Earth. It's just rocks and dust before its time." he says opening up, Y/n remembers what they said, the last of his kind, he listens closely not talking or interrupting, he just listens to the man.
"I'm a Time Lord. I'm the last of the Time Lords. They're all gone. I'm the only survivor. I'm left travelling on my own 'cos there's no one else." he continues after Rose asked a few questions
"you have me, us" she corrects herself looking at Y/n, he looks at her and The Doctor nodding even if he knows it's not how Rose thinks, it's cute how she thinks that enough but it's not, The Doctor is alone, he doesn't have anyone to share his grief with, as much as we try no one could understand his feeling, he's alone, he will always be alone no matter how many companions he has no one will ever fill that void, Y/n knows as he looks in The Doctor's eyes and The Doctor knows too as he look at Y/n almost like he read his thoughts
"You've seen how dangerous it is. Do you want to go home?" The Doctor asks the both of them but mostly looking at Rose, she hesitates for a few second but before she can answer Y/n speaks
"I want chips, who's with me?" he says as the other two laugh and nod
"chips it is then" The Doctor says and Rose takes his arm looking up at him
"Right then, before you get me back in that box, chips it is, and you can pay." she says chuckling slightly flirting with the man
"no money" he answered and Y/n let's out a light scoff almost like a chuckle
"my treat," he says looking at the two
"see that's a gentleman" Rose jokes nudging The Doctor
"yeah, he almost won me" The Doctor says and Y/n winks at him
the three laugh heading to get chips before going back in the TARDIS for another adventure.

On a day that wasn’t then, but long before today, you would wonder why Jack Harkness would call you this. Why, saddled up in the console room, giving the Doctor a private, sad smile, he would map the words onto your skin, a brand of hot iron at the base of your neck.
“She’s a flight risk,” he would say. He would warn.
And the Doctor would scoff, his Northern drawl spilling from him with ease, with the confidence of a man who was used to being right, of reading people right.
He would say that’s absurd, that you were human, too human. The kind of human who would look just as quickly at a lone daffodil in a field, or a new-born nebula, and see nothing but the beauty in the matter that formed it, of the star dust that danced around you in every bated breath.
No, he would say. You ran because you ran with the Doctor. You wouldn’t run without him.
And Jack would move to reply, his eyes far more honest that the rueful grin he forced his features into, but you would skip into the console room, curious, but unspoken. It had been some time since you established this little tradition with the Doctor, a dance just shy of moving in.
Every month – maybe, time was never accurate on the TARDIS – you would gather more of your belonging, tucking them into the space that made up your room.
And the Doctor would grin, look at you with an expression you wouldn’t be able to name, but would later learn, and ask if you were ready to go.
And Jack would grin, eyes dark though smile bright, pat the Doctor on the shoulder and ask for his own pit stop.
Today however, you roamed the TARDIS’ ever sprawling library, greeting each hard bound book, each fraying paperback, like an old friend.
And there, in golden letters, printed in the grain of an old bookshelf sagging under its own weight, was what you had never thought to be afraid of. Your name.
Your fingers ghosted over the imprint, trailing every stroke, every curve.
Your body went cold.
You knew these halls, floated through them like ink flows on paper, yet you had never seen this. Did you dare ask how long it had been there? Breathe your knowledge of this into the air? What would the Doctor say? Would he tell you he had been the one to do this? Would he see how terrified it made you feel?
Your free hand went to the back of your head, fingers trailing over the fine hair from where your skull met your neck. Your hand stopped as it met the base of your neck. In an instant you gripped tight.
Flight risk.
--
In the beginning, you found falling felt rather like flying. The Doctor didn’t steal your breath, he would snake into your lungs with an easy grin and bright laughter, and you found yourself giving it to him.
You hadn’t known yet, how easily Sarah-Jane Smith saw things. You didn’t yet know about the knowing. How important knowing was when it came to love.
But she knew, you think now she always had.
You only knew four things at that point, which you had thought was enough. First, you loved the Doctor. Second, he loved you. Third, loving one another was hard – harder than anything you had ever done.
Fourth, it was worth it.
But Sarah-Jane Smith had gripped onto the Doctor's arm, eyes wide and afraid as she spoke to him. She was speaking from experience, recognising him in you. Recognising why he loved you.
“She’s a flight risk,” she would say. She would implore.
And the Doctor would laugh, a full body movement that would sweep into his coat. He would say that you were fast, that lighting crackled beneath you, and he was the thunder – hand gripped tight in yours. That flight was fine because he was flying with you.
And you wouldn’t intrude on the way their conversation would unfold. You would turn off the monitor in the console room, toying with the idea of flight.
Because the Doctor was right, wasn’t he? You were already flying, where was the risk if the flying was for him?
Today however, you stumbled into the hallway, tripping over the slippers you had left at the foot of the library door. Your hand grazed the nearest wall, fingers mapping the grooves and nubs that you had tracked thousands of times.
Thousands? Had you really been here long enough for thousands?
You twisted down the hallway, finding your bedroom. You pawed for the light switch, a thin smear of dust pressing into your fingertips. Under the soft light, it barely looked familiar.
Trinkets you had long forgotten about sat on makeshift shelves, detailing adventures you would so often bring up in soft jokes and old laughter. An old journal sat on a desk, framed by photographs and pressings from flowers and leaves of various planets, untouched. Even your bed was locked in time, the sheets firmly tucked in all corners – unslept and well kept.
It had been so long since this had been your room, the room you spent your time in, the room you slept in. The evidence was clear as day. This room, which had once been yours, inviting and warm, was foreign. You were a stranger in your own space.
Had you lost yourself?
Flight risk.
--
Three faces you had known him. Three lifetimes of learning – of cataloguing and developing your very best knowing. Because it was the knowing that was key to any good relationship.
Like the knowing in how the Doctor took his tea, always with a dash of milk, always two sugars.
And in the knowing of how the Doctor looked at the stars, with the sort of wonder you had thought unparalleled, until he looked at you.
Or in the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled – always.
It never was a matter that the face had changed, that the eyes were new, and the slope of his jaw would bend into each new shape. The Doctor, you had come to find, was familiar, the extraordinary bottled into skin and bones with two hearts.
River Song was next, with a curious expression you have yet to unravel. She would take the Doctor’s hand, draw his eyes into her own, her voice low when she spoke. She would tell him how he was playing with fire, how – for once – he was the one who was about to get burned.
“She’s a flight risk,” she would say. She would mourn.
And the Doctor would shake his head, because River had seen, same as him, how cemented you were by his side. He would tell of her of the obstacles you had overcome, of the fears you had faced within each other, of the fate defying feats you had both pulled to keep one another in your orbit.
Then Amy – or maybe it was Rory, would call out to you, and their conversation would be lost behind you as you planned for the next adventure.
But the comment would linger, eat away through the goosebumps that would rise when Rivers gaze turned to you.
And it was then that you would wonder about Jack's first comment. It was arrogant, foolish. What did any of them know?
But the Doctors gaze would follow, it would wrap against your throat and claw into your skin.
But as always, you kept your thoughts onto the next adventure.
Today however, you gripped a photograph left on the desk. It was you, grinning into the camera, Martha Jones on one side, the Doctor on the other. You were young, your smile brighter, your eyes wider.
Your hand found itself on your cheek. Your fingers paved over your skin, over the new lines that had formed around your eyes, the creases in your cheeks, the weariness in their colour.
You were older now. So much older.
How many years had gone by? Would you ever be able to count them?
The photo fluttered out of your grasp. There was only one choice.
Flight Risk.
--
Permanency wasn’t a luxury you afforded yourself. Love was hard, and the knowing was harder. You loved knowing people, loved recognising the things that made them smile, made them laugh.
But the knowing in turn was ruthless.
The Doctor was changing, it was a knowledge that wrung itself in your chest, twisting into your veins and clotting itself into your arteries. If you had been self-aware, you would have seen the change you brought with it, how you drew yourself in, built around you more walls before the Doctor could find a jackhammer to carve them through.
You wondered if loving the Doctor truly was good – if the flying was true. How long until the flight was the Doctor leaving, once he saw too much of you?
Madame Kovarian would give you a lazy grin, the eye not hidden by the eye-patch toying with the way she looked at you and the Doctor. It was slow, languid, revelling in all the time she had to unravel you.
It only took her a moment, a cat like pause before her grin would stretch and twist into something wicked.
“She’s a flight risk,” she would say. She would applaud.
The Doctor would waver – he had never done that before. His voice would shake before falling firm. He wouldn’t mention you, he would talk of her, of the tricks she would pull, of the grip she held on to the universe.
And you would tell yourself that was enough, and you would forget it, hyperfocus on the need to fix this, on the need to win. This is what you did with the Doctor, fall into step, a routine so focused your body and his weren’t their own.
Today however, you fumbled for the vortex manipulator you knew was hidden here. You weren’t sure who the one who hid it was. Maybe it was Jack. Maybe it was River. In the end, it didn’t matter.
Your fingers curled around the worn strap, hidden deep in the console. For a moment you marvelled at the memory of the others, of the people who had left their own mark on the TARDIS.
The thought soon soured.
Because how could you think of a mark in the TARDIS, without thinking of yourself. You could see the evidence of you in this very console room. Your jumped hung over the railing. The book you were currently reading sat by the controls. An old mug, paired with the Doctors, sat by the staircase.
It sprawled out in front of you.
You. You.
You.
You tried to place the change, the moment where the you in your bedroom had spilled into the TARDIS. The moment your space was the Doctors.
You were everywhere.
There you were, your sunscreen stuck by the TARDIS front door. You were in the kitchen, tins of your favourite teas lining the shelf by the kettle. Your footsteps marked the hallways, old shoes you had kicked off before reaching your next stop, the scuff from old boots.
Your breath came in shaky, knotting in your throat.
Flight Risk.
--
The Doctor would rip the last page out of every book, all to avoid the ending. It was a quirk of his you knew well – you knew all his quirks well.
And although you knew it, you didn’t understand it.
Leaving was an inevitability for you and him. An end for all endings, even this. There was no permanency here. No proof that things would last, that he would stay. That you would stay.
There couldn’t be. Time was fickle, time was fleeting, and it was flying. Just like you were flying – you were sure of it.
Falling rather felt like flying. Until the fall was less flying, and more bone crashing into cement.
You couldn’t see the Doctor before you left, you had half the heart that he did, and that wasn’t accounting for the physical accuracy of the statement.
It was a rash decision, the logical part of you, the part screaming for you to slow down, knew it was rash. But wasn’t rash what you were known for?
Rash was jumping into a time machine with a man you just met. Rash was dancing with the stars, chasing time figures in the night. Rash was the running, all the running.
So, this time it was you. It wasn’t River, Jack, it wasn’t even the Doctor. It was simply you.
You scrawled a note, leaving it against the final lever on the console, the one the Doctor would throw before his next adventure. Alone.
I’m a flight risk, you had said.
You were gone.
--
If you had stayed, you would have seen it. You would have seen the way the Doctor stood – silent, alone – the note gripped in the palm of his hand.
The Doctor shattered.
His body splayed the TARDIS floor like ceramic before the mosaic, hauntingly tragic, ripped into the seam of the canvas.
By his side lay the ring, the reason he had left the TARDIS at all. It clattered against the railing; louder than the question he could now never ask you.
And it was the Doctor who now knew, who had learned. That the flying, that the falling? Was bone crushingly broken.
A/N^2: I really loved playing with prose while writing this, seriously, it was so fun. Thank you so much for reading! For the regulars, I've got a lot of unfinished wips that should I get the motivation are almost done, so hopefully I'll get to posting again more regularly!
EDIT: I'm writing a happy ending sequel! Lemme know if you'd like to be tagged when it comes out!

30 Minutes
Tumblr media
Thirty minutes.
Thirty minutes was all the time you both had together, at least, alone anyways. You couldn't remember the last time the two of you were able to really be alone in the privacy and seclusion of the TARDIS. Hell, with the amount of adventures the Doctor loves to go on, not to mention all the companions he loves to bring along, you're barely able to even sit down. You had been traveling with Rose and Jack for so long and so often, you honestly forgot what relaxing even was. You were exhausted, and you could tell the Doctor was, too.
Rose and Jack left to go get food for everyone, and you got a call from Rose letting you know it would take about thirty minutes before they were able to get it and come back so you all could eat and relax together. You couldn't lie to yourself; you really didn't want either of them to come back. However, the Doctor seemed to feel the opposite.
You both were spent, exhausted after the last few back to back trips with so many people and barely any time together at all. Didn't help that the Doctor had to save the world almost every single time. Quite frankly, you had enough of all of this scurrying around and saving one world after another. You just wanted a bit of downtime with the man you loved, and now you do. But it's only thirty minutes.
"Only thirty minutes, can you believe that? Only thirty minutes of time. The hell are we supposed to do, talk the whole bloody time?" The Doctor openly complained, pacing around the center console while you sat down on a set of stairs. "Thirty minutes, that's thirty minutes of nothing! Time wasted! We could be several galaxies from here by now, did you know that?"
You chuckled a bit to yourself at his antics, as he was always so antsy. Always eager to go to a new place, never very fond of staying in one for too long. You, however, didn't enjoy the idea of going anywhere else at all at the current moment. And you knew that if you didn't do something, he'd probably end up attempting to fly the ship somewhere else in the universe before Rose and Jack could even come back. So, you took it upon yourself to offer him a pleasant distraction.
"Doctor?" You try to catch his attention, but he's still just pacing around, blabbing to himself. "...Doctor?"
He doesn't pause even for a moment. You know that you're going to have to catch his attention in some way or another. You don't really know how to go about that at first, until you finally get an idea. You smirk to yourself, knowing that this always works, every single time.
"Oh, Doctor? It's getting very warm in here." You say cheekily, and you take note of how the Doctor pauses for a second. "Oh goodness, I guess I'll just have to take my shirt off!"
You announce this loudly, making a show of lifting your shirt off of your body, feeling the cold air of the TARDIS start to hit your warm skin. You suppress a shiver, but you feel yourself start to warm up when he finally looks at you. A mere glance at first, but he does a double take and begins to stare at your body, your beautiful skin and the handsome scars on your chest. He takes a deep breath, which makes you grin. You love how you have this much control over him.
"Well...maybe it isn't really a waste of time after all, then." He says firmly, clenching his jaw before a wide grin spreads across his face. "You've been waiting for this, haven't you? Come to think, it has been a while since we've been alone, hasn't it?"
His voice is low as he begins to move toward you with an intense look in his eyes. God, you love when he gets that look. You remember all the times during dangerous situations when he'd get that look in his eyes. And now here he was, stalking towards you with that same look, like a predator stalking his prey. It makes you feel so much warmer.
"You're right, it is pretty warm in here, isn't it? Very stuffy." The Doctor says quietly as he stands right in front of you, still entranced by only your upper half. "I think you might need to take these off as well."
He tugs at your waistband, pulling you against him, beginning to unbutton them. You waste no time, letting them fall to your feet along with your underwear and kicking them away, the only thing you're left wearing is a pair of socks as you had kicked off your shoes a while ago. The Doctor has to suppress a groan at your nude body, realizing just how long it's actually been since the two of you even had a little bit of privacy. He runs his rough hands over your skin, the sensation making you shiver. His left hand grabs your chin and tilts your head upwards as he leans in to kiss you, the two of you unable to help yourselves as you both groan into the kiss, fully entranced by each other by this point.
You grip the sides of his jacket, the worn leather soft under your hands. His mouth quickly goes on its own path away from your lips and to your neck, starting to kiss and bite on the sensitive flesh. You moan loudly as his wandering hands begin to squeeze your soft bits, gripping your ass and thighs with a quiet desperation. He hasn't been like this in a long time, and fuck, do you love it. He begins to guide you down to the floor of the TARDIS, the metal frigid against your nude skin. This time you do shiver, but not only because of the cold chill, but also because the Doctor has begun to strip as well, tossing his jacket and shirt to the side and beginning to unbutton his pants.
Your breathing grows a bit more rapid, and you feel your sex start to pulse in anticipation. The Doctor doesn't take his pants off, instead opting to pull them down slightly, pulling his moderately large cock out from it's restraints. He's VERY hard, as his left hand moves to stroke it up and down. He looks down at you with both a loving and lustful look, admiring you intensely as his right hand creeps down your body until his fingers find the right spot.
You whine as he slowly pushes a finger inside, your sex already wet and aching with a need for something much bigger. Though, he doesn't yield, pushing one more finger into your depths and slowly moving them in and out, your body beginning to writhe at the cruel teasing. His thumb skillfully moves to your clit, moving around in circles in just the right way, your eyes squeezing shut as you take it all in.
"Look at you, I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Sometimes I forget about how irresistible you are." The Doctor scolded himself as his fingers still move within you, now starting to move at a quicker pace. "That's terrible of me. Have I reminded you of how absolutely gorgeous you are today? Well, you're getting it now."
His thumb moves at a pace that has you seeing stars, your teeth clenching before you moan aloud. You don't see it, but the Doctor is stroking himself at the same pace, watching you and your body intently, making sure that he was doing everything right and making you feel as good as you deserve. He can't help but watch you in awe.
"You're absolutely soaked down here. Are you really enjoying this that much? Do I really make you feel that good?" He comments, beginning to get even more desperate to have you. "Oh, you're such a good boy. Taking it so well for me. Don't worry sweetheart, I'll give you what you want."
He stops, pulling his fingers out from your sex which causes you to whine involuntarily. He tsks at you, before pushing the digits that were inside you into your mouth, making you taste yourself.
"Go on and clean me off, I'll give you what you want after. You'll be a good boy, won't you?" The Doctor speaks lowly, and you groan before beginning to suck on his fingers. "Very good, was that so hard? You're doing so well."
It doesn't take long before his fingers leave your mouth, that hand moving to grip your hip as he positions himself at your entrance. His cock moves in between your folds, pushing it back and forth, teasing you. Finally you can feel him beginning to press against you, and you bite your lip.
"That's it, slowly..." He says quietly, slowly beginning to push himself inside you, and you grit your teeth. "You're alright, don't worry love, just tell me if it's too much, okay? You're doing fantastic."
You let out a shaky breath as he finally sheathes himself completely within you, and your breath gets quicker as you feel a fullness you haven't gotten to experience in a while. He pauses, letting you grow used to his size again, even though it doesn't take you very long. You nod at him, smiling softly. That's all the confirmation he needs before slowly beginning to move, setting a nice, even pace.
Both of you are panting heavily, and the Doctor can't help but start to speed up, having been so deprived of you and your body for so long, he forgot the pleasures of flesh entirely until now. Now he just couldn't stop, pumping himself in and out of you like a well oiled machine, your hands moving to grip his shoulders as he moves to your neck, nuzzling his face into it as he fucks you hard and deep. Your nails start to claw at his back as he goes harder and harder, both of you getting lost in the sensation of your bodies.
The pleasure is intoxicating, so intoxicating in fact that you both completely lose track of time. You both don't even realize that time is even passing until you're screaming into nothing as he groans loudly, filling you to the brim with his cum. He moves to start again, cock still throbbing with a desperate need to continue, to keep going and never stop, the Doctor, he needs you, needs you constantly–
"Doctor! I think we've lost track of time!!" You say suddenly, bringing him back to reality, a look of panic on your face. "How long have we've been at it for–?!?"
The Doctor scrambles up, pants falling to his ankles comically as he runs to the console, checking the time. His eyes widen as he realizes it's been waaaay more than 30 minutes. He swallows. The Doctor swiftly moves to clean the two of you up as fast as possible and look even somewhat presentable before you both go out looking for Jack and Rose.
"I can't believe that happened, dammit, I should have put the TARDIS into stasis, that way this wouldn't have happened– oh I hope they're okay, you think they got lost?" The Doctor speaks to you in a panic, eyes frantic. "You don't think they got attacked, do you?"
"I'm sure they're fine, Doctor. Food was probably late being prepared, that's all." You say, fixing up your clothes. "Look, we're gonna go find them, okay? It's fine! Let's just go and–"
You open the TARDIS doors to see Rose and Jack right by it, sitting on a bench and eating their food, giggling when they see you and the Doctor leave the TARDIS. The Doctor looks at them puzzled, wondering why they're laughing to themselves as your face turns hot, realizing why they're giggling.
"You two have fun in there?" Jack asks, and Rose punches his shoulder before laughing even harder, covering her mouth with her hand. "Sure sounded like it!"
"What are you talking about–?" It takes the Doctor a moment to realize it, seeing you covering your face with your hands, but when he does, he pauses. "Oh! Oh. Oh no."
Even after the two of you get your food and go back into the TARDIS, Rose and Jack can't help but tease the two of you for the next few trips, while also giving you both a bit more privacy. It's embarrassing, but also refreshing, as you and the Doctor get a lot more date nights after that.
Guess thirty minutes wasn't enough.

WARNING: Angst and a teeny bit of fluff
9 to 10:

"No! Doctor, please!" You cried out as you realized that the Sontaran had shot him right before he fell into the Tardis.
"Stay back, please, (Y/n)! Did I ever tell you that Timelords have with little trick," he grunts in pain, "to cheat death. I'll live, but you won't be seeing this ol' face again."
You nod, though you didn't fully understand what he meant, but you did as he asked and backed up to give him space for whatever was about to happen. Suddenly his hands started to glow a bright, sunny yellow. It looked as if the sun itself was burning him up.
The Doctor lifted his gaze from his hands onto you, "Have I ever told you just how utterly fantastic you are, (Y/n)? And you know what? So was I!"
It finally happened, his hands and face were engulfed by the brightest yellow you've ever seen. It felt like being near a hot fireplace, and he was in the center of it, burning away to form a new man. It didn't take long and the yellow faded away quickly, only to reveal the face of the Doctor.. well, the new face.
This Doctor was skinny and had spikey hair, and you weren't going to lie, he was also quite attractive.
"Doctor? How do you feel?" You asked, a bit cautious at the new man who was now the Doctor.
"Oh I feel just lovely.." he makes a face and runs his tongue over his teeth, "new teeth, that's weird. Anywho! (Y/n), my partner, you look absolutely amazing, have you done something different with your hair because I think it looks so nice..."
As he finished his sentence he came tumbling down on the Tardis floor. You gasped and yelped his name. You kneeled down to him and checked his pulse. Still breathing, just passed out. After all that.. who could blame him for passing out like that? You grabbed him under his arms and proceeded to drag him to his room to let him rest. You could ask questions later when he woke up.
10 to 11:
Tumblr media
"You're going to regenerate again, aren't you Doctor?" You asked, noticing how weak he seemed at the moment.
"Yeah, I am, and I wish I could do more, wish I could stay longer, but it's time for a change of face. I don't want to go, but I don't really have a choice," He replied, hunching down in pain.
Some tears fall as you realize you're going to see him in pain again. You hated seeing the Doctor in pain, whether it was physical or emotional didn't matter, any type of pain he was in you wanted to take away. You placed your hand on his shoulder, giving his face a good hard look. You kissed him on the lips, this face on the lips, one last time before sliding your hand off his shoulder and stepping back.
"I still loved you when your face changed the first time, don't think I won't love the next, or any of the ones afterwards," you gave a sad smile.
He returned the same sad smile and looked at his hands starting to glow. The colour never changed, it was always that same burning yellow that gave off heat and remonded you of the sun. Another regeneration is going to be burned through, and soon you'll be met with a new face, a new Doctor.
Again it happened where the bright yellow grew hotter and more powerful, obviously more powerful than the last regeneration as the windows of the Tardis broke and everything was going haywire. The Tardis was crashing, he was busy regenerating, and you didn't know how to fly the damn thing!
The regeneration soon came to an end, the first thing the new Doctor did was check if he had all his limbs. You laughed a bit when he noticed his new chin and his hair a bit longer, thinking he was a girl. Then he realized the Tardis was crashing.
"Doctor, what are we going to do!?" You exclaimed over the Tardis' sounds.
"(Y/n)! My partner, my favourite human being in the universe! What we are going to do is not die, that's what!" The Doctor smiled at you.
You never realized it until that moment, but even when you were in danger, you always managed to make him smile, in all his regenerations... that's one of the things that never changed.
11 to 12:
Tumblr media
You had already witnessed two of the Doctors regenerations, now it didn't make you as sad as it used to, knowing that the previous Doctors you have grown to love will be replaced with a new man. No matter what he looked like, you would always love him.
"Alright Doctor, I wonder what you'll look like next!" You exclaimed.
Of course you were still a little sad to see your old Doctor go, but you learned to look forward to who he will be next, what crazy fashion he'll wear, what food items he prefers next, and especially his personality!
"Me too! Hopefully ginger, always wanted to be ginger, but regeneration hasn't been nice to me," he smiled a bit.
This one wasn't like the other regenerations, this time it was almost like a flash, it wasn't like the sun, this time it was like a light flickering. An extremely blinding light, but a flicker of light none the less. It took you a second to grasp what happened, but soon you realized you were staring at the Doctor, new and older at the same time.
"Gah!" The Doctor shouted, "New kidneys, I've got new kidneys... I don't like the colour!"
You laughed a little at that statement, "You don't like the colour of your kidneys, Doctor, how can you see them, they're inside of you?!"
Before he could answer there was a knock at the Tardis door, it seemed like an angry knock. The Doctor got to the door before you could check who it was. Yes, this Doctor was older, but just like every other Doctor you've been with, you could learn to love him just the same.
You started towards the Tardis doors, into a new adventure with your new Doctor.

9th Doctor x Gender neutral reader

"Doctor?" You break the silence of the TARDIS, as you sit on the jump seat.
"That's me." Smiling at you as he stops fiddling with the TARDIS console. You shake your head and laugh at his answer, always one for a witty comeback.
"Have you ever been to the dentist?"
"Why?" He takes a step closer to you a slightly worried look on his face. "You need one?"
"No. No." You breathe out. "Just wonderin' that's all." You shrug at him.
He stops and ponders for a moment. Thinking back through all his years, all his lives, all his faces.
"Can't say I have." He gives you his trademark smile, and turns back around to fiddle with the TARDIS once more. The comfortable silence coming back, as you watch him tinker.

9th doctor x reader
Tumblr media
That's amazing thank youuu I love the 9th doctor and can never find any fics for him. I was wondering if I could request him with a doctor x panic attacks reader? If not that's completely fine thank you so much :))) 😁 - Anon💜
Usually when you went on adventures with the doctor it was only small ones, you’d be back in a day or two and the doctor would just hang around with you for a few days before the next one.
And today was like that, he had to go away for longer and you decided to hang back so he could go with Rose instead.
You could feel the anxiety creeping in and you wanted some time to yourself to recharge, focus on calming yourself.
But today wasn’t going so well, the noise in your head was as loud as anything, and you couldn’t ignore it no matter what you did.
Music. Cleaning, cooking. You did everything you could to try and distract yourself but nothing worked, and finally it washed over you.
The doctor had finished his latest adventure, and after taking Rose home he decided he didn’t want to stay and he wanted to go see his favourite companion.
So, he walked the few streets to your flat, and he knocked on the door a happy grin on his face as he waited.
When you didn’t respond he knocked a little bit louder.
“(Y/N) I know you’re in I can see your light on!”
You didn’t reply and he frowned a little bit, opening your letter box but he couldn’t see you.
The doctor stepped back and thought for a moment.
Pulling out his screwdriver and unlocked your door with ease and he waltzed in, putting his screwdriver away as he closed the door.
“(Y/N) you favourite person is back!” He called.
The doctor walked into the living room to turn the music on the TV down, and that’s when he heard it.
The struggled breathing and his head shot up.
“(Y/N)?” He called.
The doctor began rushing around your flat and he finally found you in the kitchen, against the fridge, hand clutching your chest as tears ran down your face and you struggled to breath.
“Hey, hey.”
The doctor rushed over and he knelt down next to you.
“What’s wrong? What’s going on?”
You gasped for breath and shook your head.
“Okay, okay. Come here.”
The doctor sat down and pulled you into his arms, resting your back against his chest and he looked around trying to figure out what to do.
Then it hit him.
He placed his hand on your head, resting it on his shoulder and he breathed in deeply.
“Just breathe, that’s it…” he whispered.
He kept talking to you like he normally would, telling you about his latest trip as he breathed deeply in and out.
Soon enough, your breathing fell in line with his.
The doctor looked at you and he rested you back against the fridge, and he sat in front of you, pulling his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around them.
“What happened? Did someone hurt you?”
“No…” you whispered.
The doctor furrowed his brows a little bit.
“What is it?”
You shook your head and slowly stood up.
“It’s nothing…”
You walked away and the doctor jumped up, rushing over to you he took your hand in his and stood you, walking around you.
He looked at you sadly.
“It’s something, please tell me.”
“Panic attack…”
“Why didn’t you tell me your anxiety was acting up? I would have stayed.”
You shrugged a little and he sighed, placed a hand on your shoulder he guiding you into a hug.
The doctor placed his hands on your back, his chin on your head and you balled your hands into the fabric of his shirt under his jacket.
“You’re far more important than any adventure.” He said softly.
The doctor gave you a little squeeze.
“Do you want me to stay, or go?” He asked.
“Stay… please…” you whispered.
“Then I’ll stay for as long as you need me to.” He smiled
